At a young age of three she was boiling water and making hot dogs. What you can
infer is that she is mature for her age. While she was in the hospital one of the nurses
tried to comfort her. One of them squeezed my hand and told I was going to be okay
I know. I said, But if I m not, that s okay too (17). I found this of her to say that even
if she weren t okay she would be okay to be very mature of her at a young age.
I believe her parents are very interesting as well and at times can be irresponsible.
For example when her brother Brian fell off of the back of the couch and they did
not take him to the hospital. There was blood everywhere, Mom said but one kid in

Introduction
After taking the survey, I now realize I wish I was doing more differentiated
instruction in my classroom. I chose a lot of somewhat agrees and that means that I
sometimes implement differentiation but not always. Reading through all of the
questions really had my thinking on how I use them in my classroom. For example:
one of the questions I had trouble with was: I make frequent use of peer tutoring
and peer assistance in my classroom. I do not do any of that in my music classroom.
I could try and have students help me hand out instruments or papers when we use

I will sometimes jot down by their name on the seating chart who needs help with
what. Doing more formal assessments is a must in my classroom. One example of a
formal assessment that I did this past year was teaching the second graders the song
Rocky Mountain. Once the song was memorized the students would come to the front
of the room and sing Rocky Mountain for everyone to hear and I would grade them
on their singing ability; if all words were memorized, sang each note on the correct
pitch and if they sang in the correct key throughout. I found this to be very helpful
with their personalities and interests because I found out who really liked singing
and who did not really enjoy it. I also found out who was shy and who was more
outgoing. This helped me prepare some of lessons for the next few times and I knew
who I could call on to sing for everyone. Another strength that I have is helping
students set individual learning goals. I recently helped a student who usually has a
hard time concentrating and staying on task create a GPAR (Goal Plan, Action and
Result), to help him get through his classes more focused. It worked very well and
the student got a great result and therefore I know I will be doing this more next year

as Black. Arnold Ho, Susan Gelman and Steven Roberts, U M professors of
psychology published a scientific article (Ho et al., 2015) looking into the cognitive
backgrounds behind how an individual categorizes other individuals based on race.
They performed studies on categorization on how we categorize multiracial
individuals. The study combined research on racial existentialism, existentialism
meaning ideals and negative bias in order to explain the difference in the way people
categorize multiracial individuals as black over white . Their findings suggest that
categorization biases, also known as hypodescent, influence how we categorize
multiracial individuals. The study asserts that Black White multiracial individuals in
the United States are categorized as Black (hypo descent categorization). The basis of

meats one can eat. The Koran tends to illustrate which foods are forbidden rather
than those that one is allowed to eat. The only animal that there is an outright ban
on is the pig. As for animals that are permitted, it specifies the ways that this meat
may become forbidden. These ways include eating meat that is already dead, or

level in a variety of communication settings and communication partners relevant to
the patient s interests. People with Aphasia often have difficulty with word retrieval
which limits discourse capacity. This in turn negatively effects communication
interactions with others and increases isolation. Therefore, therapy is often centered
around improving wordretrieval that will facilitate communication with others.
Unfortunately, trained skills in therapy have demonstrated varying levels of
generalization. There are several treatment approaches that have demonstrated
efficacy for individuals with aphasiasuch as Semantic Feature Analysis. A limitation
with this method is that it focuses on nouns and has not shown limited generalization

verbs. Verbs are central to syntax, semanticsand event memory. Therefore, VNeST is

s we have explored vampires from Bram Stoker s Dracula to modern interpretations
of the vampire mythos reflecting the historical moment of the film as well as
changing ideas about what it means to be a vampire. The final film, Only Lovers Left
Alive directed and written by Jim Jarmusch contributes to the vampiremythos by
providing the only plot viewed that takes place long after the two became vampires
and also echoes themes found in previously viewed films such as the struggle
vampires have with adjusting to a rapidly changing world while they often find
themselves clinging to old ways once seen as normal during their time. Only Lovers
Left alive normalized vampirism as part of the characters identity without allowing
their separation from the human species to define them absolutely, the focus was less
on the fact that the main characters were vampires and more on the hardships those
