Human development can be studied by researching both physical and mental development. It can be
studied by focusing on the external human body, along with the processes and intricate systems that
have been developed by our body. It can also focus on the human brain, specifically on the internal

neurons and transmition (nervous system), muscle contraction (skeletal muscle), and sensory
information. This will provide a solid understanding of the various interactions in our body that
allow us to function. I am interested in expanding on my introductory Cell Biology courses, to focus
specifically on humans. Following this, BIOL 325: Introduction to Animal Mechanics and
Locomotion will continue to develop my understanding on animal physiology and this course will
focus more on Cardiovascular, respiratory, and osmoregulatory physiology. As such, this is
providing a complete look into the human body, combined with other courses. Then. BIOL 325:
