(A) Irrelevance of the term reasonable
Schellenberg regards reasonable nonbelief to be that which is inculpable (i.e., for which the
nonbeliever is not to blame). The distinction between culpable and inculpable nonbelief is
somewhat unclear, but even if it could be sufficiently understood I am inclined to say that all
nonbelief in God is inculpable. For that reason, I would accept premise (3) of the argument.
Schellenberg devotes a chapter of his book to a defense of it. Although I agree with what he
says there, it seems to me that even if people s nonbelief in God were always somehow their own
fault, that would be irrelevant. A perfectly loving deity would set vindictiveness aside and still
want to help nonbelievers (by supplying them with evidence of his existence), despite their
culpability. All it would take, for most, would be some spectacular miracle, or perhaps, as
Schellenberg prefers, a religious experience. So, even if some clear sense could be attached to the
distinction between culpable and inculpable nonbelief, the real force of Schellenberg s argument
would lie in the fact of nonbelief itself. The issue of whether or not the nonbelief is culpable would

One day in the life of Ivan Denisovich was written by Alexander Solzhenitsyn. Solzhenitsyn was
born on December 11th, 1918 in Kislovodsk, Russia. He was 89 when he died on August 3rd 2008.
Solzhenitsyn based the book on the World War 2 period, particularly the famous labour camps for
prisoners in Germany and East Prussia known as gulags . Life in the gulags were tough due to the

this book, describes the difficulty of life in the gulag, full of brutality, hard manual labour, sub zero

Recently I read in OJIN magazine, students shared that they entered a nursing program because

I tend to agree more with Handlin. This is because I believe we can t recreate history. While I
know we do our best to reenact it, history is meant to be in the past. While, it is important to
understand the emotions, hardships, and circumstances of the past; trying to recreate it is
impossible. I think with more factual evidence we can get a more accurate depiction of our
history. I do understand this method is extremely hard to maintain. This is why I believe there

Financial objectives are no longer the only important variables to firms; in addition to the owners
economic aims, the interests of employees, customers and the public at large have increasingly
