Although friendship is something that most
people enjoy, friendships are not all the same. Some
friendships are forged from a long-term familiarity with
one another, and other friendships can spring up just by
spending one fun evening together. Not all friendships
result in daily or even weekly time spent together; long-
term friendships can be kept afloat using
communication tools like the Internet and telephone,
while other friendships result in sporadic get-togethers
months or even years apart.

Dogs can be classified in a number of different
ways. Most notably, they can be categorized by breed.
Examples of different breeds include beagles, basset
hounds, golden retrievers, poodles, and countless others.
They can also be classified by their role in the lives of
their masters and the work they do. For example, a dog
might be a family pet, a working dog, a show dog, or a
hunting dog. In many cases, dogs are defined both by
their breed and their role. For example, a dog could be a
beagle that is a family pet.
14
People looking to lose weight have a few options:
exercise, diet, weight loss pills, or surgery. Exercising
involves going to a gym, working out at home, or joining a
class or sports team. Dieting often involves strict
management of what one eats in order to lose, gain or
maintain weight. Weight loss pills can help individuals who
have difficulty losing weight by reducing appetite, reducing
fat absorption or increasing fat burning. A person can lose
weight by combining the pills with other methods such as
diet or exercise. Individuals who are severely overweight
can talk to a doctor about having surgery to help them.

A steam engine is a heat engine that performs
mechanical work using steam as its working fluid. The
steam engine uses the force produced by steam
pressure to push a piston back and forth inside a
cylinder. This pushing force can be transformed, by a
connecting rod and crank, into rotational force for
work.

Ice cream is made with milk, cream and sugar.
All of the ingredients are mixed together. Then, the
mixed ingredients are heated up to kill off any germs.
Flavours and colours are added next, strawberry
flavoured ice cream is usually pink. The mixture is then
frozen and whipped at the same time. This makes it
softer.
20
The water cycle is the way that water moves
between being water vapour to liquid water and then
back to water vapour. The most common example of
the water cycle is when water evaporates from the
oceans and then returns to the land in the form of rain.
The water cycle has four stages: precipitation,
infiltration, evaporation, and condensation. After the
cycle reaches condensation, the cycle begins again
with precipitation.

And lastly, the stony-iron meteorites which consist of
nearly equal parts of meteoric iron and silicates.

along with you each time you come to class. First, you
should have paper. Furthermore, you need a pen to
take notes with. Moreover, you need to have your

homework. In addition, it is good to have a dictionary.
Finally, you ought to have a book bag to carry
everything in.

Walls are built for different purposes. For
example, Hadrian's Wall was built in 125 A.D. in
Scotland to keep the Picts out of newly acquired
Roman territory in England. Another example is a
pasture wall, built to keep livestock safe and protected.
A third kind of wall is a memorial wall. The Vietnam
Veterans Memorial wall was completed in 1982 and
displays the names of that war's dead and missing.
Finally, the most common use of walls, of course, is in
housing to separate rooms and to support roofs.

These are easy steps in bottling a perfume.
First, we measured the perfume into the beaker.
Following that, we poured it into its designated bottle.
Finally, we labeled the bottle for display. And there you

There was once an old farmer who owned a
very stubborn donkey. One evening, the farmer was
trying to put his donkey into its shed. The farmer
pushed the donkey, but the donkey wouldn't move.
Then the farmer pulled the donkey, but the donkey still
wouldn't move... as soon as the cat scratched the dog,
the dog began to bark. The barking dog frightened the
donkey who jumped immediately into its shed..

Daniel Sullivan was the first to notice the flames
coming from the O'Leary barn at around 8:30 pm on
October 8, 1871. A problem with the alarm box made it
impossible for the people in the area to call for the fire
department. By 9:30 pm, the entire block was blazing.
In another 3 hours, there were fires all over Chicago.
The heavy wind coming from the lake only made the
fire bigger. The next day, the fire were completely out.
By that time, 17,500 buildings had been burned. This
was known as the Great Chicago Fire.
