2. Conjuntiva:
Es una mucosa delgada y
transparente que recubre
la porción anterior de la
esclerótica hasta el limbo y
la superficie posterior de
los párpados.
Según su etiología hay
varias clases de
conjuntivitis: bacteriana,
viral, clamidial, alérgica,
física, micótica, parasitaria,
espiroquetósica y de
etiología desconocida.
3. CONJUNTIVITIS BACTERIANA
SIMPLE
• Patología muy frecuente y por lo general
autolimitada.
• Las causales son: el Stafilococo aureus,
epidermidis y otros gram positivos y
negativos.
4. Sintomas y Signos:
En caso de epiteliopatía puntiforme
o infiltrados corneales periféricos:
● Lagañas
● Hiperemia conjuntival máxima
en fondos de saco
● La agudeza visual es normal
● Se inicia con eritema
● Gender: Female
● Sensación de cuerpo
extraño
● Pesadez de los párpados
● A veces fotofobia
5. Tratamiento:
La terapia consiste en el uso de
sulfas o gotas antibióticas en el
día
Sin tratamiento cura al
cabo de 10 a 14 días Ungüentos durante la noche,
localmente.
Norfloxacina, gentamicina,
tobramicina, cloranfenicol,
etc.
7. SIGNOS Y SINTOMAS:
Supuración espesa, quemosis
conjuntival con o sin formación de
seudomembrana
Edema periocular, dolor y limitación
de la mirada.
Se palpa prominente linfadenopatía
preauricular que en casos graves
puede superar los ganglios
preauriculares.
Queratitis y ulceración corneal que
puede conducir rápidamente hasta
una perforación y endoftalmitis
