Developing Sustainable Fiscal Policies And Implementing A...
A budget can be described as an allocation mechanism that the Government uses to distribute a
nation s resources amongst different economic sectors that serve or are existent within a
country. The major source of Government resources distributed is taxes paid by resident or
citizens of a given country. A budget is one tool that has a lot of political and economic
significance since it controls a Government s expenditures and it lays out a path that the economy
will follow or at least try to follow in a given year. The Government, being the main board
governing or running a country has a major role of developing sustainable fiscal policies and
ensuring or try to achieve economic growth and it is through budgeting that these goals can be
successful achieved. A budget translate a Government s policies, political commitments, and goals
into decisions on how much revenue to raise, how it plans to raise the revenue, and how to use
these funds to meet the country s competing needs and these may include improving the country s
security, alleviating poverty, improving health care among other things. Budgeting is of great
economic and political significance because a Government s budget directly or indirectly affects
the lives of every citizen or resident. Considering the fact that it is the people that have the power
to decide the political life of the political party running the country, the Government would want to
prepare a budget that directly deals with the issues that are of

Examples Of Persuasion
Persuasion: Who, What, and to Whom
To persuade is to change someone or yourself, this could be for temporary or long term, good or
bad, internal or external, and can change a believes system. Persuasion comes from an influence
that touches our emotions in order to get what we want from others or ourselves. In todays world
you must persuade and learn not to be persuaded.
The source of the persuasive message must come from a creditable, likeable, and attractive person.

While Modern Film Productions Have Lost The Ambitious...
While modern film productions have lost the ambitious classicism of early cinema, the idea to view
cinematography itself as a self governing construction of thinking has been carved into the history
of continental philosophy. Due to the variety of material and conjecture, film manipulates the four
dimensional reality in which we live our everyday lives in. From A quoi pensent les films?, Jacques
Aumont, a French academic writer on filmtheory, states that film has the power of thinking in
order to express that the art form has the ability to release us from the restriction of our realistic
judgements and radical perceptions, producing a poetic and dreamlike reality.
Film philosophers that were specifically intrigued in the mechanics of ... Show more content on

Henri Bergson, a French philosopher, declines this model theory by communicating that the
cinematic adventure actively perceive time and movement all in one platform, his philosophy was
the variance of material and spiritual actuality. In a counter exploration of Benjamin s ideals, when
one looks at a clock they view purely different placements and positions of the clocks hands, but
this act entails no specific spiritual connection to the viewer. The same logic of this situation
compares to the example from Benjamin s. Only the single audience s encounter can determine the
product. Exploring this theory, French philosopher Deleuze, who wrote on the philosophy of
literature, film, and fine art, counters Benjamin s statement arguing that our mind does not need to
put together the arbitrary components that is required to construct a piece but rather we can
receive the information as a whole. In his two most popular books on cinema, Deleuze argues that
because of Image Mouvement (CinГ©ma I) and Image Temps (CinГ©ma II), Deleuze moves to
say films do not think with plain set images like paintings, which produce no mechanics to
personify thought, but with movement images and time images. Movement images are explained
as a scene of action the creates a reaction, producing the cycle of similar scenes. Time images are
defined by Deleuze as a scene that is created entirely on thought. Not only do these two components

Ernest Hemingway Apathetic American Stereotypes
Apathetic Americans
Stereotypes have shaped the way people think about the World and everyone around them. They
are undeniably over exaggerated, but are based on a sliver of truth. For example, stereotypical
Americans are seen as rude, stupid, greedy, and very patriotic. In the case of Americans, Donald J.
Trump is the embodiment of the American stereotype. During his presidential campaign, Trump
made many vulgar remarks, and his goal was to make America great again. These American
stereotypes are also apparent in Ernest Hemingway s short stories, most notably in Cat in the Rain,
The Short Happy Life of Francis Macomber, and the interchapters of In Our Time. Hemingway s
short stories portray Americans as being insensitive to the World around them. Americans are
insensitive through their insatiable greed, emotional unawareness, and cultural disregard.
Hemingway s Americans continual desire for more alienates them from the rest of society,
proving their lack of understanding for the world. In Cat in the Rain, an American couple is
vacationing in Italy. Instead of admiring the beauty of their surroundings, the Americans instead
focus on irrelevant trivial pursuits, illustrating their greed. After going down to retrieve the cat,
the wife is immediately attracted to the hotel owner, proving Americans ever evolving want for
new things: She liked the way he wanted to serve her. [...] She liked his old, heavy face and big
hands (Hemingway 130). Instead of staying loyal to her husband, the American wife forgets he
exists and moves on to the next best person she finds, showing the apathy Americans possess for
what they already have. Additionally, the hotel owner is simply doing his job, and the American
wife s failure to realize this results from her greed, which severely clouds her judgement. The
greed Americans possess is further proven with the American wife s childish behavior throughout
the story. When the wife cannot find the cat, she complains, I wanted it so much [...] I don t know
why I wanted it so much (130). Back in the hotel room, the wife demands to her husband that she
want[s] to pull [her] hair back, and to have a kitty to sit on [her] lap and purr when [she] stroke[s]
her (131). The

Synthesis of 1- Bromobutane an Sn2 Reaction
Experiment 13:
Synthesis of 1 Bromobutane An SN2 Reaction
Theory: One of the methods of preparing alkyl halides is via the nucleophilic substitution reactions
of alcohols. Alcohols are inexpensive materials and easy to maintain. However, they are a poor
leaving group the OH group is a problem in nucleophilic substitution, this problem is fixed by
converting the alcohol into H2O.
Objective: The objective of this lab is to observe the synthesis of 1 bromobutane in an SN2
reaction, to see how a primary alky halide reacts with an alcohol.

Discussion: In the synthesis of 1 bromobutane alcohol is a poor leaving group; this problem is
fixed by converting the OH group into H2O, which is a better leaving group. Depending on the
structure of the alcohol it may undergo SN1 or SN2. Primary alky halides undergo SN2
reactions. 1 bromobutane is a primary alkyl halide, and may be synthesized by the acid mediated
reaction of a 1 butonaol with a bromide ion as a nucleophile. The proposed mechanism involves the
initial formation of HBr in situ, the protonation of the alcohol by HBr, and the nucleophilic
displacement by Br to give the 1 bromobutane. In the reaction once the salts are dissolved and the
mixture is gently heated with a reflux a noticeable reaction occurs with the development of two
layers. When the distillation was clear the head temperature was around 115oC because the
increased boiling point is caused by co distillation of sulfuric acid and hydrobromic acid with water.
When transferring allof the crude 1 bromobutane without the drying agent,

The Debate About Censorship
The Debate about Censorship
Censorship, the control of the information and ideas circulated within a society, has been a
characteristic of dictatorships throughout history. In the 20th Century, censorship was achieved
through the examination of books, plays, films, television and radio programs, news reports, and
other forms of communication for the purpose of altering or suppressing ideas found to be
objectionable or offensive. There have been assorted justifications for censorship, with some censors
targeting material deemed to be indecent or obscene. Because of this, ideas have been suppressed
under the disguise of protecting three basic social institutions: the family, the church, and the state.

Amendment, the 4th US Circuit Court of Appeals reversed this ruling because Paladin provided its

Second, in the 1993 World Trade Centre bombing, Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman and nine followers
were found guilty of violating a law that makes planning to wage war against the government a
crime. Federal prosecutors argued that exhortations to his followers amounted to directing a violent
conspiracy. In 1999, the Second U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said, the Bill of Rights does not
protect an individual who uses a public speech to commit crimes. The court ruled that the First
Amendment did not protect Rahman because his speech was not simply the expression of ideas.
Instead it was used to instruct, solicit or persuade others to commit crimes and violence.
Now, to change sides and show some viewpoint for the argument against censorship, there are a few
main topics that are discussed when this topic of censorship is brought up: restricts Amendment
Rights, not objective and bias. In Fahrenheit 451, Montag s society has abandoned

3) You will note that the ratios on the Forecasting sheet are defined in terms of ending balance sheet
amounts, whereas the ratios on the Ratio Analysis sheet are defined in terms of average balance
sheet amounts. To see why this it, construct a temporary line on the Forecasting sheet to input the
ratio of Sales to Average Receivables and then compute the resulting ending Receivables
forecasts. To illustrate this point, input 15% as the ratio of Ending Receivables to Sales and then
add a temporary line where the Average Receivables to Sales is 15%. For each, compute the

Economies Of Brazil, Russia, India, And China
BRIC is an acronym for the economies of Brazil, Russia, India, and China combined, originally
projected to be the fastest growing market economies by Jim O Neill of Goldman Sachs first in
2001, but most prominently in a follow up paper published in 2003 (( Brazil, Russia, India, and
China BRIC, n.d.). The Goldman Sachs thesis states they, Brazil, Russia, India, and China, have the
potential to form a powerful economic bloc ( Brazil, Russia, India, and China BRIC, n.d.). Just
thirty prior, Brazil, Russia, India, and China were all struggling in some fashion. Brazil was
dealing with over inflation. Russia was behind the Iron Curtain. India made the mistake of
kicking IBM and Coca Cola out of their country, and China was in recovery mode from the
Cultural Revolution. Now, each of these countries are on the rise, and China is likely surpass
the United States by having the World s largest economy. One thing that these countries have in
common are low labor and production costs. Due to lower labor and production costs, many
companies also cite BRIC as a source of foreign expansion opportunity, and promising economies
in which to invest ( Brazil, Russia, India, and China BRIC, n.d.). There is no doubt Brazil,
Russia, India, and China all have powerful economies that are currently busting at the seams. .

Effective Waste Management
Waste has been around for thousands of years, yet it still remains an issue today for countries to
collect and dispose of waste effectively (Samah 1810). Managing waste has become a larger issue
recently than it was in years past due to an increase of the world population. As a result of poor
waste management, several issues have risen. Current methods of wastedisposal, such as
incinerators and landfills, have several downfalls associated with them due to the pollution these
methods of disposal can cause. Another issue that is the result of poor waste management is
electronic waste, which can leak toxic chemicals if not disposed of correctly. A third issue that is
also associated with poor waste management is the Pacific garbage patch, a large collection of
small plastic bits floating at various depths in the Pacific Ocean. One example of effective waste
management is curbside recycling, which reuses unwanted materials and transforms the materials
into new products. Incineration of waste is just one way of finally disposing waste. Trash is
usually collected and or dropped off at an incinerator facility. It is at such facilities that the waste
is then burned. However, burning waste releases gaseous emissions that can have a detrimental
effect on the environment and those around the facility (Ghiban 75). Landfills are another way of
disposing waste. With landfill disposal, the waste is simply compacted and buried in the ground.
Many landfills have a clay and or plastic

Influenza Vaccines And The Flu Vaccine

This paper explores published works related to patients who received the flu vaccine who were
sixty five years and older. The evaluated articles examine the effectiveness the flu vaccine had on
the patient population of sixty five years and older in relation to avoiding the flu and pneumonia
diseases and hospitalizations, in this group of patients. It has been conceded for years that senior
adults age sixty five and older are at greater risk from an influenza illness and pneumonia than a
vigorous young adult. It has been projected that between 71 percent and 85 percent of seasonal flu

Qualitative and Quantitative Studies
In patients sixty five years and older how does the use of an influenza vaccine contrasted to not
obtaining the vaccine reduce their chance of acquiring pneumonia during the flu season? In 2005,
pneumococcal disease and influenza were the eighth leading cause of death in the United States
and the primary cause of infection related mortality for all age groups (Assaad, El Masri,
Porhayman, El Sohl, 2012, p. 453). Vaccinationfor influenza is widely identifiable as one of the
most efficient and cost effective public health interventions. (Wheelock, Thomson, Sevdalis, 2013,
p. 893). Approximately 90% of deaths caused by these illnesses occur among adults sixty five
years of age or older. It is hypothesized that the impairment to the airway epithelial lining triggered
by influenza fosters bacterial growth, and that in turn bacterium derived proteases boost virus
related virulence. There are several studies that have been established that show vaccinating the
population of older patients, aged sixty five and older, has shown a decrease in developing
pneumonia during flu season. In a sizable study that included Swedish patients aged ≥ than 65
years old showed that immunization with the flu vaccine resulted in a 29% decrease in the
occurrence of all cause pneumonia and a 35% drop in the death rate from all cause pneumonia in
the vaccine group. Moreover, patients who were admitted in the hospital for influenza or

World War I was a devastating war that was mainly Britain, Russia, France, and the US against
Austria Hungary, Germany, and the Ottoman Empire. Throughout the entire war, many different
strategies and tactics were used by the /parties. Some were genius and some were absolute
failures. There were a multitude of goals different powers wanted, and each one took unique
approaches to achieve said goals. One of the first plans of WWI was developed almost a decade
before the war actually took place. The Schlieffen Plan, which Alfred von Schlieffen, Chief of the
Imperial German General Staff, based off of Hannibal s tactic 2000 years earlier, consisted of
Germany taking France out at the start of the war. That way, Britain and Russia couldn t continue...

Danilov argued that on the outbreak of war in Europe the German Army would concentrate its
forces against France. Danilov therefore suggested that four of its armies should immediately
invade East Prussia. In 1912 it was decided to heavily alter Plan 19. Only two armies were now
to attack East Prussia with the rest concentrating on defending Russia from the Austro Hungarian
Army. Now the way soldiers attacked in WWI is interesting. Military actions designed to take
control of enemy trenches were called attacks or offensives. The difference between attacks and
offensives are an attack usually involved a division (16,000 men) while an offensive was bigger
and would use at least one corps. The main objective of an attack was to break the enemy line, but
an offensive was an attempt to occupy any positions that were taken during the operation. This

7 Layers Of The OSI Model
OSI Layers The OSI model shows how the hardware and software function together in order to
enable communication between the computers. The OSI model is basically a framework of how
the device operate on the network. Assume that user A sends data to user B through internet, the
data has to travel the network to reach user B computer. During the data transfer, the data has to
navigate through many intermediate nodes. To ensure the data transfer from user A to user B
correctly and securely, so we need protocols to guide these data. These group of protocols are
called communication model. OSI model is one of the communication model. Open System
Interconnection (OSI) is made up of 7 layers, each layer has their own unique functions and
protocols. Control is passed from one layer to another layer, start at application layer which is layer

Europe now, for the first time in modern history, is a partnership sharing common values and a

improving the environment and public health.? With Italy being part of this research, they have the
opportunity to add jobs to work with the hydrogen technology.? Once the technology is developed
and put into use, the countries involved will have the opportunity to purchase competitively priced

The Biological Effects Of Cellular Respiration On...
Introduction Cellular respiration is a complex but fundamental process of life. This process is vital
to all living organisms, whether they are autotrophs or heterotrophs, plants or animals. All biotic
life requires their food to be converted into energy to carry out their basic functions and processes.
Cells use oxygen to transform a simple sugar like glucose into energy, such as Adenosine
Triphosphate(ATP). Glucose is a carbohydrate, which acts as a reactant just like oxygen and water.
The products yield carbon dioxide, water and ATP, which is the opposite for photosynthesis. Cellular
respirationcan be divided into three parts: glycolysis, citric acid cycle, and electron transport chain.
Many pollutants can disrupt this biological process and effect organisms and ecosystems. Dioxin is
a very toxic compound usually produced as a byproduct from industrial waste sometimes in the
form of pesticides or herbicide, which was used in Vietnam. TCDD is a commonly studied dioxin
that is a mixture of chemicals found in the environment. Studies have found that humans cannot
metabolize this mixture, which causes several different, harmful biological reactions. TCDD is a
direct side product of burning organic materials. It is also a persistent organic pollutant that inhibits
the mitochondria from supplying energy including ATP and NAD(P)H. This organelle is where
cellular respiration is synthesized in animals and humans. These toxins directly affect the electron
chain, which will

History And Evolution Of Africa
Africa played a pivotal role in human evolution. It s the site of the beginning of human evolution,
as they slowly evolved from their primitive ancestors and continued to evolve for millions of
years. A majority of the fossils, some dating back almost 7 million years, are found in Africa. As
ancient humans migrated out of Africa they stayed close to the coast. Scientists have been able to
trace their migration to areas around the Indian Ocean, South Asia, and even as far down as
Australia, also referred to as Out of Africa Theory (OOA) by many scientists.
By examining these fossils scientist have discovered a plethora of early human and pre human
species. In central Chad fossils of Sahelanthropus tchadensis have been discovered, dating
between 6 and 7 million years. Some researchers believe that Sahelanthropus tchadensis is the
common ancestors that links humans and chimpanzees. In Ethiopia Ardipithecus ramidus
fossils, the earliest known biped, have been found dating back 4.5 million years ago. Bipedalism
was a major shift in early evolution that many scientist attribute to climate and diet change. It
arose around 4.2 3.5 million years ago when hominids began moving away from areas that had
dense trees and foliage to savanna areas. Savanna habitats are primarily made up of tall grasses,
giving bipeds an advantage; allowing them to have a new elevated eye position and reduced their
exposure to solar energy. Not only did it allow hominids to be able to see over the tall

The Modern Grotesque Hero in John Kennedy Toole s, A Confederacy of Dunces
John Kennedy Toole unleashes a compelling criticism of modern society in the principal work he
produced in his short lifetime, A Confederacy of Dunces. Using masterfully crafted comedy, Toole
actually strengthens his disparaging position on the modern world. Boisterously and unabashedly
opinionated, Ignatius Reilly, the principal character of this novel, colors the narrative with a
poignant humor that simultaneously evokes both laughter and pity from readers. Near the
beginning of the story, his mother s financial difficulties suddenly force Ignatius to leave the womb
like security of his bedroom and seek employment, making him abandon his project of writing a ...

A definition of grotesque becomes necessary to fully understand the role that it plays in heightening
the novel s satire. In A Handbook to Literature, William Harmon and C. Hugh Holman describe
grotesque as being applied to anything having the qualities of grotesque art: bizarre, incongruous,
ugly, unnatural, fantastic, abnormal...The interest in the grotesque is usually considered an
outgrowth of interest in the irrational, distrust of any cosmic order, and frustration at humankind s
lot in the universe (240 41). Thus, the grotesque, because of its association with the helpless
cynicism of man in his world, is an ideal technique to employ when embarking upon criticism of
contemporary society.
However, to most successfully use the grotesque, especially in a humorous work such as Toole s,
the author must present a norm from which to deviate, creating a more potent conflict between
opposites. Michael Kline elaborates on this in his analysis of A Confederacy of Dunces: ...the
grotesque cannot be absolute in order to produce humor. While it can be strange, it must also
contrast with some attempted unity to which we compare its divergence (284). Toole understands
this rule of effective conflict, and he presents two disparate levels of grotesque in his A
Confederacy of Dunces. A reader detects the incongruity that exists within Ignatius himself, while
also identifying the more observable conflict between Ignatius and modern society.

Positive And Negative Effects Of Being A Twin
The Effects of Being An Identical Twin
When people see a pair of twins they are many questions that they ask at first, and they start to
check how good the similarities are between each other. Twins are always thought of something
special and magical, now don t get me wrong it is special because of the bond and relationship that
they create between each other. Even though just like any other thing it has its pros and cons.
The effects of being a twin is determined by more than a few factors, individuality, physically,
comparison, competition, Physiological and emotional. From the moment twins are born, they are
inseparable. They live together, have the same gender and even look the same, however the effects
of being identical twin has a long run effect on their future of social relationships, allowing them to
have a hard time finding themselves as individuals. One of the effects twins must deal with as their
growing up is individualism, just because their twins and were born on the same day and share
same physical, and similarities. People tend to forget that their two different people and they both
often get treated as one person. They both are two different human beings with separate goals,
mindsets and different personality. The effect that causes the same treatment to both can have a
negatively impact on them by having an impact in their self image and the ability to develop a
strong self identity. One thing that is important is that most of the twins have a strong

Quality Improvement Initiative Falls Management Program
Quality Improvement Initiative Falls Management Program in Nursing Homes
Falls are very common among nursing home residents. Residents in nursing homes are more likely
to fall due to their age, chronic health conditions, medication, or change in the environment after
admission to the facility. The people who provide care every day in nursing homes know firsthand
how critical falling can be to the health of the residents they care for. Fall prevention is critical in
order to decrease falls in nursing homes. There are programs that are designed to help nursing home
staff members identify the reason for resident fall. These programs give a preventive measure that
assures accuracy and sensitivity of patients risk from falling. The Falls Management Program
(FMP) is one of these programs. The Falls Management Program (FMP) is a multifaceted quality
improvement initiative that is designed to assist nursing homes, it includes assessment,
individualized care planning, resident monitoring, and the elimination of environmental safety
hazards (Taylor, J., Parmelee, P., Brown, H., Ouslander, J., 2005). FMP also improves care
processes and outcomes through educational, staff training and quality improvement tools and
ongoing consultation by qualified falls nurse. There are several reasons why FMP is significant.
Research shows that about half of the nursing home residents in the U.S. fall each year and it is
estimated that 1 in 3 of those who fall will fall in the future. Falling

The psychodynamic approach on the study of human behaviour is based around the work of
Sigmund Freud.
Freud believed that when people explainied their own behaviour to themselves or to someone

trying to lie on purpose. Freud suggested that the majority of human behaviour is influenced by
things we are not consciously aware of and that our deeper motivations are not seen but hidden

the part we don t know about and are unaware of, the unconscious . Freud also said that between our

subsequently the fall of The Mall . As more consumers choose to do their shopping online many
retailers and shopping centers are being left behind. As the number of failing malls begin to rise

newest form of television programming fad is the reality television genre. Reality television is now

stuff or living on desert islands. But these shows are a form of reality suitable to make fairly

When thinking about reality TV and its rise to popularity there are two shows that come to
mind. The first is the creative Survivor. Survivor is an hour long show that came on in 2000 on
Thursday nights at 9:00 PM on CBS and quickly became one of the networks highest rated

is that 20 people are deserted in the wild in two groups that they call tribes and are forced to
build shelter, provide food for themselves and then every week participate in a challenge to win
immunity. Those who do not win immunity are then open to be voted off by the tribe. The final
person to not get voted off receives 1 million dollars and fifteen minutes of fame.
Another show that helped cement the reality TV genre is NBC s Fear Factor, a usually half hour
show which shows on any night where a push in the adult 18 49 demographic is needed. Fear
Factor is the show that comes to mind when thinking of reality TV and eating. Joe Rogan hosts the

Behavior of Fish in an Egyptian Tea Garden Keith Douglas Behavior of Fish in an Egyptian Tea
Garden was written in 1968 and published in the Poetry of the Forties. The setting of the poem
takes place in an egyptian tea garden as presumably stated in the title. In the poem, Keith Douglas
strategically emphasizes a woman s ability to entice and seduce men with her beauty, as well as the
same woman being objectified through the usage of structure, language and style. To begin, the first
stanza introduces the woman and further establishes the setting. A simile is used to introduce a
woman who is being admired by other men, As a white stone draws down the fish/ she on the
seafloor of the afternoon/ draws down men s glances and their cruel wish/ for love (1). The woman
is representing the white stone which draws the attention of the fish, who represent men. However,

differing from one another and the last three stanzas have no rhyme scheme at all. This could
connect to the idea of relationships and the idea of appearance vs. reality. In other words, a
relationship might not be what it looks like, and could question the idea of love in general. The use
of structure, language and style was effectively used throughout the poem to emphasize the

The novel Pride and Prejudice was first published in 1813. Signet Classics published Jane Austen s
book in 1980. The story takes place in early 19th century England. Important settings are
Longbourn: the Bennets estate, Netherfield Park: the estate of Mr. Bingley; Rosings Park: the
estate of Lady Catherine de Bourgh, and Pemberley: Mr. Darcy s estate. Major characters in this
comically toned romance include Elizabeth and Jane Bennet, Mr. Darcy, Mr. Bingley, and Mr.
Wickham. Elizabeth is the protagonist while the pride and prejudiceof social classes can be seen as
the antagonist. Mr. Darcy, aside from Elizabeth Bennet herself, undergoes one of the most
drastically dynamic character changes of the novel. The exposition of the novel begins... Show more

Once Jane is recovered, the sisters return home, and the next day the Bennets receive a visit from
their cousin, Mr. Collins, who is set to inherit the estate. Shortly after his arrival, Collins proposes
to Elizabeth, who turns him down an exciting climax within the plot. Once he is convinced of her
denial, he turns to Charlotte Lucas, a neighbor and friend of the Bennets. In the nearby town of
Meryton, where militia officers are stationed, the sisters meet the new officer, Wickham. When Mr.
Bingley and Mr. Darcy happen upon the group, Darcy and Wickham seem to profusely detest each
other, the perfect man vs. man conflict Elizabeth can t help but notice. Elizabeth and Wickham
become friends and he tells her Darcy is a horrible man who cheated him out of his inheritance.
The Bingley party leaves Netherfield for the winter, and the Bennets start to believe they will not
return. Charlotte and Mr. Collins get married, and Elizabeth promises to visit them at their
parsonage in Rosings Park. Jane is upset over Bingley s departure and goes to visit her aunt and
uncle in London. That spring, Elizabeth visits the Collinses and meets their patron, Lady Catherine
de Bourgh, who is Darcy s aunt. Furthering the rising action, Darcy arrives to call on his aunt
during Elizabeth s visit. He drops by the Collins home quite frequently, and during one of his visits,
when he catches Elizabeth alone, he makes a very insulting

Work System Theory
пЃ¶Research the theory
Who are the progenitors of the theory? Find the seminal publications. (Try to find references in
addition to those listed on the Wiki.)
The term Work System was first put forward in two serial journal articles, MIS Problems and
Failures: A Socio Technical Perspective (Bostrom, R.P. and J.S. Heinen, 1977). From year 1999 to
2006, Steve Alter published his propositions that developed and completed the current Work
Systems Theory, which defined the Work SystemFramework, the Work System Life Cycle Model,
and the Work System Method.
In what discipline(s) is the theory developed / used?

пЃ±Project A was behind the schedule for months.
пЃ±Project B was to migrate the source control software from SC to LN throughout the IT
department.
пЃ±The project B team was reputable with many accomplishments in the department.
пЃ±The IT resources in project A will be effected by project B slightly. A transition period of one to
two day(s) will take place to impact the progress of project A.
Issues:
пЃ±The leader of Project A refused to change the source control software to LN until the project A
finished. The main reason was project A could not afford any further delay.
пЃ±Project B already took off with extensive analysis and did not expect the obstacle of
implementation.
пЃ±Source codes interconnected with each other. It was not feasible to use SC and LN at the same
time.
пЃ±IT manager was under the pressure from claim department due to the deplay of project A.
Therefore no management decision was made to change source control software in project A.
Result:
пЃ±Project B was forced to stop at the stage of implementation. The project was aborted.
пЃ±When project A finished couple of months later, project B team started over with analyzing and
planning again as source codes structures changed significanly after the days going by.
Use the theory to interpret the situation.
I will treat the project A and project B as 2 work systems.

Jay Gatsby Downfall
The past is something that can be pleasant to remember, but trying to run back to it is like a dog
chasing it s tail, it seems like it is possible yet rarely is. In the novel, The Great Gatsby (1925), by
F. Scott Fitzgerald, the title character, Gatsby tries to recreate his past life and this eventually leads
to his downfall. After Jay Gatsbyloses Daisy Buchanan to another man, he continuously tries to
win the love of his life back because he cannot seem to understand that she is long gone. Some
fatal characteristics of Gatsby include his constant want for control and how he believes he is
morally superior to society. He goes to great lengths to prove how devoted he is to bringing back
the past.
First and foremost, Gatsby was raised on a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
When Daisy s family did not accept him when he was poor, he determined that he must become
rich to marry her. After he lost her to Tom, he changed his life around to impress Daisy and try to
win her back. Gatsby turned into a very wealthy man that owns millions of dollars worth of
luxurious items: On week ends his Rolls Royce became an omnibus, bearing parties to and from
the city, between nine in the morning and long past midnight...And on Mondays eight servants
including an extra gardener toiled all day with mops and scrubbing brushes and hammers and
garden shears, repairing the ravages of the night before (Fitzgerald 43). Gatsby s plan was that
since he placed his mansion across the bay from Daisy s mansion, he might happen to attract her
over with the plentiful parties he put on. His other point of the parties was to keep his superior
status in society and prove to Daisy that he is now the man she once dreamed of. Gatsby believes
he is morally superior to everyone else and that he should have no trouble with winning Daisy
over. He also lies about how he got all the money, lies about his education and acts as if the world
revolves around him. Gatsby s notion that he is better than the other people eventually leaves him
lonely and without anyone to lean on except Nick. Even the local authorities give Gatsby special
privileges. When Gatsby and Nick get pulled over on their drive into

Joseph Campbell s The Hero With A Thousand Faces
During Joseph Campbell s, The Hero With A Thousand Faces , he explains a process. This
process is the psychological journey that each and every one of us, can go through. It opens doors
to new opportunities and advancements. There are many trials, and conflicts the hero must face.
The journey ahead sometimes gets easier, but also difficult. I will be explaining how Joseph
Campbellillustrates the argument that his story makes a compelling argument when it comes to
stating a person goes through trials, and a life changing experience.
1st: In the call to adventure, Joseph s hero starts in a regular life. Similarly, to when playing a

The Ancient Songs, Stories And Art Of Native People
Patty Loew writes the ancient songs, stories and art of Native people are filled with symbolism
and wisdom. In order to understand the cultural meaning of the people, places, and events that
shaped their lives, we must not only read history, but also listen to it (Loew 11). When we listen to
history, it can be recognized by means of how the author acknowledges that written accounts of
people and their lives does in fact offer a valuable source of information, but it diminishes in
comparison to what could actually be learned from those who actually come from that history.
Additionally, in order to actually listen to history it s important to read it but it also means that
we must be able to understand it. If we can understand history, we can use our understandings of
history to apply it to history over time. History is important when listening to the past because of
the fact that it gives people an understanding of how people s cultures have evolved over time.
This also allows us to learn from the past and hopefully prevent making the same mistakes again in
the future. Passing stories down is another important component in order to listen to history due to
the fact that oral history has allowed us to construct the past and get more crucial details.
Throughout the book there are several examples of how the author listened to history in order to
write her book. From the first chapter in Indian Nations of Wisconsin, Loew allows us to listen to
history by means of discussing

Internal And External Factors Of A Company
Internal and external factors Dyne and Pierce (2008) explained that there are many factors which
are inducing a change process in a company, as employees at all levels of organisational hierarchy
are the agents of change though they are also barriers to it. Change happens when the forces of
external environment are forcing to change existing circumstances. So companies wanting to
change when there is fall in market share, new product has been launched, which is caught in the
environmental scan. Managers therefore will try to stay of competition, may lead to analysing own
strengths, weakness, opportunities and threats. This leads to understanding what capabilities and
competencies are existing to make a counter offer in the marketplace.... Show more content on

These elements like communication pattern, delegation of tasks, leadership style are barriers
when they do not aid to mutual information exchange, and decision making to aid change
process. Summers (2011) opined that at individual employee level, there can barriers like no
awareness and knowledge about new QMS, or even they may not have motivation to unlearn the
old and learn the new. Acceptance and adoption of a new work method may find no employees as
it conflicts with their existing work standards. This is closely linked to their individual cultural
beliefs, organisational work culture which also affect individual abilities, which when falls short,
needs new skill sets to be learnt. Many employees are unable to cope with the steep learning curve,
as each of them have individual differences in learning new skills, show different levels of abilities
in applying new work methods (Dean and Bowen, 2008). Kerzner (2009) acknowledged that to
bring in change to any technology, financial support to change production systems is needed and
hence the most liquid form of resource to buy other resources is also important in organisations.
Apart from that there are organisational elements, like barriers of industry concentration, vertical
integration which depends on competition, size of firm,

Honey Bees Deducting
In the past year the U.S has lost 44 percent of its honeybee colonies. Certain bee species are on the
brink of extinction because of climate change and the resulting malnutrition. People don t
understand how a world without bees wouldn t be good. Without bees, stores would have a hard
time stocking honey, fruits, vegetables and dairy products. Scientist are looking for ways to help
save the bees. The famous cereal, honey nut cheerios even decided to remove the familiar mascot to
help draw attention to the problem.

How Did The French Revolution Unsuccessful
The Unsuccessful French Revolution
Before the French Revolution France was divided into three estates. These Estates determined
very significant things ranging from social class, to the percentage of land a person owned and
even the duties and privileges of a person. The French revolution began in the 1780 s and was
triggered by The Assembly of Notables, and the Estates general not considering the third estate
while voting, sparking the first phase of the Revolution. On July 14, 1789 Bastille was stormed
because to the third estate it symbolized the French monarchs dictatorial rule. The Reign of Terror,
ending in 1794 can be considered the end of the revolution resulting in 50,000,000 deaths. The
French Revolution was mainly unsuccessful because, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Sieyes s experience was similar to many of the revolutionary thinkers, because of the reign of terror

  • 2. Developing Sustainable Fiscal Policies And Implementing A... A budget can be described as an allocation mechanism that the Government uses to distribute a nation s resources amongst different economic sectors that serve or are existent within a country. The major source of Government resources distributed is taxes paid by resident or citizens of a given country. A budget is one tool that has a lot of political and economic significance since it controls a Government s expenditures and it lays out a path that the economy will follow or at least try to follow in a given year. The Government, being the main board governing or running a country has a major role of developing sustainable fiscal policies and ensuring or try to achieve economic growth and it is through budgeting that these goals can be successful achieved. A budget translate a Government s policies, political commitments, and goals into decisions on how much revenue to raise, how it plans to raise the revenue, and how to use these funds to meet the country s competing needs and these may include improving the country s security, alleviating poverty, improving health care among other things. Budgeting is of great economic and political significance because a Government s budget directly or indirectly affects the lives of every citizen or resident. • 4. While Modern Film Productions Have Lost The Ambitious... While modern film productions have lost the ambitious classicism of early cinema, the idea to view cinematography itself as a self governing construction of thinking has been carved into the history of continental philosophy. Due to the variety of material and conjecture, film manipulates the four dimensional reality in which we live our everyday lives in. From A quoi pensent les films?, Jacques Aumont, a French academic writer on filmtheory, states that film has the power of thinking in order to express that the art form has the ability to release us from the restriction of our realistic judgements and radical perceptions, producing a poetic and dreamlike reality. Film philosophers that were specifically intrigued in the mechanics of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Henri Bergson, a French philosopher, declines this model theory by communicating that the cinematic adventure actively perceive time and movement all in one platform, his philosophy was the variance of material and spiritual actuality. In a counter exploration of Benjamin s ideals, when one looks at a clock they view purely different placements and positions of the clocks hands, but this act entails no specific spiritual connection to the viewer. The same logic of this situation compares to the example from Benjamin s. Only the single audience s encounter can determine the product. Exploring this theory, French philosopher Deleuze, who wrote on the philosophy of literature, film, and fine art, counters Benjamin s statement arguing that our mind does not need to put together the arbitrary components that is required to construct a piece but rather we can receive the information as a whole. In his two most popular books on cinema, Deleuze argues that because of Image Mouvement (CinГ©ma I) and Image Temps (CinГ©ma II), Deleuze moves to say films do not think with plain set images like paintings, which produce no mechanics to personify thought, but with movement images and time images. Movement images are explained as a scene of action the creates a reaction, producing the cycle of similar scenes. Time images are defined by Deleuze as a scene that is created entirely on thought. • 5. Ernest Hemingway Apathetic American Stereotypes Apathetic Americans Stereotypes have shaped the way people think about the World and everyone around them. They are undeniably over exaggerated, but are based on a sliver of truth. For example, stereotypical Americans are seen as rude, stupid, greedy, and very patriotic. In the case of Americans, Donald J. Trump is the embodiment of the American stereotype. During his presidential campaign, Trump made many vulgar remarks, and his goal was to make America great again. These American stereotypes are also apparent in Ernest Hemingway s short stories, most notably in Cat in the Rain, The Short Happy Life of Francis Macomber, and the interchapters of In Our Time. Hemingway s short stories portray Americans as being insensitive to the World around them. Americans are insensitive through their insatiable greed, emotional unawareness, and cultural disregard. Hemingway s Americans continual desire for more alienates them from the rest of society, proving their lack of understanding for the world. In Cat in the Rain, an American couple is vacationing in Italy. Instead of admiring the beauty of their surroundings, the Americans instead focus on irrelevant trivial pursuits, illustrating their greed. After going down to retrieve the cat, the wife is immediately attracted to the hotel owner, proving Americans ever evolving want for new things: She liked the way he wanted to serve her. [...] She liked his old, heavy face and big hands (Hemingway 130). Instead of staying loyal to her husband, the American wife forgets he exists and moves on to the next best person she finds, showing the apathy Americans possess for what they already have. Additionally, the hotel owner is simply doing his job, and the American wife s failure to realize this results from her greed, which severely clouds her judgement. The greed Americans possess is further proven with the American wife s childish behavior throughout the story. When the wife cannot find the cat, she complains, I wanted it so much [...] I don t know why I wanted it so much (130). Back in the hotel room, the wife demands to her husband that she want[s] to pull [her] hair back, and to have a kitty to sit on [her] lap and purr when [she] stroke[s] her (131). The ... Synthesis of 1- Bromobutane an Sn2 Reaction Experiment 13: Synthesis of 1 Bromobutane An SN2 Reaction Theory: One of the methods of preparing alkyl halides is via the nucleophilic substitution reactions of alcohols. Alcohols are inexpensive materials and easy to maintain. However, they are a poor leaving group the OH group is a problem in nucleophilic substitution, this problem is fixed by converting the alcohol into H2O. Depending on the structure of the alcohol it may undergo SN1 or SN2. Primary alky halides undergo SN2 reactions. 1 bromobutane is a primary alkyl halide, and may be synthesized by the acid mediated reaction of a 1 butonaol with a bromide ion as a nucleophile. The proposed mechanism involves the initial formation of HBr in situ, the protonation of the alcohol by HBr, and the nucleophilic displacement by Br to give the 1 bromobutane. In the reaction once the salts are dissolved and the mixture is gently heated with a reflux a noticeable reaction occurs with the development of two layers. • 10. The Debate About Censorship The Debate about Censorship Censorship, the control of the information and ideas circulated within a society, has been a characteristic of dictatorships throughout history. In the 20th Century, censorship was achieved through the examination of books, plays, films, television and radio programs, news reports, and other forms of communication for the purpose of altering or suppressing ideas found to be objectionable or offensive. There have been assorted justifications for censorship, with some censors targeting material deemed to be indecent or obscene. Because of this, ideas have been suppressed under the disguise of protecting three basic social institutions: the family, the church, and the state. In Ray Bradbury s book, Farenheit 451, ... Second, in the 1993 World Trade Centre bombing, Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman and nine followers were found guilty of violating a law that makes planning to wage war against the government a crime. Federal prosecutors argued that exhortations to his followers amounted to directing a violent conspiracy. In 1999, the Second U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said, the Bill of Rights does not protect an individual who uses a public speech to commit crimes. The court ruled that the First Amendment did not protect Rahman because his speech was not simply the expression of ideas. Instead it was used to instruct, solicit or persuade others to commit crimes and violence. The Goldman Sachs thesis states they, Brazil, Russia, India, and China, have the potential to form a powerful economic bloc ( Brazil, Russia, India, and China BRIC, n.d.). Just thirty prior, Brazil, Russia, India, and China were all struggling in some fashion. Brazil was dealing with over inflation. Russia was behind the Iron Curtain. India made the mistake of kicking IBM and Coca Cola out of their country, and China was in recovery mode from the Cultural Revolution. Now, each of these countries are on the rise, and China is likely surpass the United States by having the World s largest economy. One thing that these countries have in common are low labor and production costs. Due to lower labor and production costs, many companies also cite BRIC as a source of foreign expansion opportunity, and promising economies in which to invest ( Brazil, Russia, India, and China BRIC, n.d.). The users will need to be asked about the tasks they do on a daily basis to provide patient care, and about the clinical decisions that would benefit from computer decision support. • 18. Effective Waste Management Waste has been around for thousands of years, yet it still remains an issue today for countries to collect and dispose of waste effectively (Samah 1810). Managing waste has become a larger issue recently than it was in years past due to an increase of the world population. As a result of poor waste management, several issues have risen. Current methods of wastedisposal, such as incinerators and landfills, have several downfalls associated with them due to the pollution these methods of disposal can cause. Another issue that is the result of poor waste management is electronic waste, which can leak toxic chemicals if not disposed of correctly. A third issue that is also associated with poor waste management is the Pacific garbage patch, a large collection of small plastic bits floating at various depths in the Pacific Ocean. One example of effective waste management is curbside recycling, which reuses unwanted materials and transforms the materials into new products. Incineration of waste is just one way of finally disposing waste. Trash is usually collected and or dropped off at an incinerator facility. It is at such facilities that the waste is then burned. However, burning waste releases gaseous emissions that can have a detrimental effect on the environment and those around the facility (Ghiban 75). Landfills are another way of disposing waste. With landfill disposal, the waste is simply compacted and buried in the ground. Many landfills have a clay and or plastic ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The evaluated articles examine the effectiveness the flu vaccine had on the patient population of sixty five years and older in relation to avoiding the flu and pneumonia diseases and hospitalizations, in this group of patients. It has been conceded for years that senior adults age sixty five and older are at greater risk from an influenza illness and pneumonia than a vigorous young adult. It has been projected that between 71 percent and 85 percent of seasonal flu related loss of life have happened in people sixty five years and older and between 54 percent and 70 percent of seasonal ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Qualitative and Quantitative Studies In patients sixty five years and older how does the use of an influenza vaccine contrasted to not obtaining the vaccine reduce their chance of acquiring pneumonia during the flu season? In 2005, pneumococcal disease and influenza were the eighth leading cause of death in the United States and the primary cause of infection related mortality for all age groups (Assaad, El Masri, Porhayman, El Sohl, 2012, p. 453). Vaccinationfor influenza is widely identifiable as one of the most efficient and cost effective public health interventions. (Wheelock, Thomson, Sevdalis, 2013, p. 893). Approximately 90% of deaths caused by these illnesses occur among adults sixty five years of age or older. It is hypothesized that the impairment to the airway epithelial lining triggered by influenza fosters bacterial growth, and that in turn bacterium derived proteases boost virus related virulence. There are several studies that have been established that show vaccinating the population of older patients, aged sixty five and older, has shown a decrease in developing pneumonia during flu season. In a sizable study that included Swedish patients aged ≥ than 65 years old showed that immunization with the flu vaccine resulted in a 29% decrease in the occurrence of all cause pneumonia and a 35% drop in the death rate from all cause pneumonia in the vaccine group. Danilov argued that on the outbreak of war in Europe the German Army would concentrate its forces against France. Danilov therefore suggested that four of its armies should immediately invade East Prussia. In 1912 it was decided to heavily alter Plan 19. Only two armies were now to attack East Prussia with the rest concentrating on defending Russia from the Austro Hungarian Army. Now the way soldiers attacked in WWI is interesting. Military actions designed to take control of enemy trenches were called attacks or offensives. The difference between attacks and offensives are an attack usually involved a division (16,000 men) while an offensive was bigger and would use at least one corps. The main objective of an attack was to break the enemy line, but an offensive was an attempt to occupy any positions that were taken during the operation. This meant that consistent fighting raised serious problems of running out of supplies. Before attacks and offensives took place, heavy artillery was used to soften up the enemy trenches. At the offensive at the Somme in the summer of 1916 General Douglas Haig ordered an eight day preliminary bombardment before sending 750,000 men (27 divisions) to attack the German ... The OSI model is basically a framework of how the device operate on the network. Assume that user A sends data to user B through internet, the data has to travel the network to reach user B computer. During the data transfer, the data has to navigate through many intermediate nodes. To ensure the data transfer from user A to user B correctly and securely, so we need protocols to guide these data. • 23. The Biological Effects Of Cellular Respiration On... Introduction Cellular respiration is a complex but fundamental process of life. This process is vital to all living organisms, whether they are autotrophs or heterotrophs, plants or animals. All biotic life requires their food to be converted into energy to carry out their basic functions and processes. Cells use oxygen to transform a simple sugar like glucose into energy, such as Adenosine Triphosphate(ATP). Glucose is a carbohydrate, which acts as a reactant just like oxygen and water. The products yield carbon dioxide, water and ATP, which is the opposite for photosynthesis. Cellular respirationcan be divided into three parts: glycolysis, citric acid cycle, and electron transport chain. Many pollutants can disrupt this biological process and effect organisms and ecosystems. Dioxin is a very toxic compound usually produced as a byproduct from industrial waste sometimes in the form of pesticides or herbicide, which was used in Vietnam. TCDD is a commonly studied dioxin that is a mixture of chemicals found in the environment. Studies have found that humans cannot metabolize this mixture, which causes several different, harmful biological reactions. TCDD is a direct side product of burning organic materials. It is also a persistent organic pollutant that inhibits the mitochondria from supplying energy including ATP and NAD(P)H. This organelle is where cellular respiration is synthesized in animals and humans. These toxins directly affect the electron chain, which will ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

It s the site of the beginning of human evolution, as they slowly evolved from their primitive ancestors and continued to evolve for millions of years. A majority of the fossils, some dating back almost 7 million years, are found in Africa. As ancient humans migrated out of Africa they stayed close to the coast. Scientists have been able to trace their migration to areas around the Indian Ocean, South Asia, and even as far down as Australia, also referred to as Out of Africa Theory (OOA) by many scientists. By examining these fossils scientist have discovered a plethora of early human and pre human species. In central Chad fossils of Sahelanthropus tchadensis have been discovered, dating between 6 and 7 million years. Some researchers believe that Sahelanthropus tchadensis is the common ancestors that links humans and chimpanzees. In Ethiopia Ardipithecus ramidus fossils, the earliest known biped, have been found dating back 4.5 million years ago. Bipedalism was a major shift in early evolution that many scientist attribute to climate and diet change. It arose around 4.2 3.5 million years ago when hominids began moving away from areas that had dense trees and foliage to savanna areas. Savanna habitats are primarily made up of tall grasses, giving bipeds an advantage; allowing them to have a new elevated eye position and reduced their exposure to solar energy. Using masterfully crafted comedy, Toole actually strengthens his disparaging position on the modern world. Boisterously and unabashedly opinionated, Ignatius Reilly, the principal character of this novel, colors the narrative with a poignant humor that simultaneously evokes both laughter and pity from readers. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... A definition of grotesque becomes necessary to fully understand the role that it plays in heightening the novel s satire. In A Handbook to Literature, William Harmon and C. Hugh Holman describe grotesque as being applied to anything having the qualities of grotesque art: bizarre, incongruous, ugly, unnatural, fantastic, abnormal...The interest in the grotesque is usually considered an outgrowth of interest in the irrational, distrust of any cosmic order, and frustration at humankind s lot in the universe (240 41). Thus, the grotesque, because of its association with the helpless cynicism of man in his world, is an ideal technique to employ when embarking upon criticism of contemporary society. However, to most successfully use the grotesque, especially in a humorous work such as Toole s, the author must present a norm from which to deviate, creating a more potent conflict between opposites. Michael Kline elaborates on this in his analysis of A Confederacy of Dunces: ...the grotesque cannot be absolute in order to produce humor. While it can be strange, it must also contrast with some attempted unity to which we compare its divergence (284). Behavior Of Fish In An Egyptian Tea Garden Robin Suazo Mrs. Inouye IB English HL 2, Period 5 01/22/18 Behavior of Fish in an Egyptian Tea Garden Keith Douglas Behavior of Fish in an Egyptian Tea Garden was written in 1968 and published in the Poetry of the Forties. The setting of the poem takes place in an egyptian tea garden as presumably stated in the title. In the poem, Keith Douglas strategically emphasizes a woman s ability to entice and seduce men with her beauty, as well as the same woman being objectified through the usage of structure, language and style. To begin, the first stanza introduces the woman and further establishes the setting. A simile is used to introduce a woman who is being admired by other men, As a white stone draws down the fish/ she on the seafloor of the afternoon/ draws down men s glances and their cruel wish/ for love (1). The woman is representing the white stone which draws the attention of the fish, who represent men. However, the white stone that represents the woman is ironic because the color white usually implies innocence and purity, which is the opposite of the woman represented ... However, even though the poem looks like it follows a rhyme scheme, it does not. The first four stanzas have a rhyme scheme differing from one another and the last three stanzas have no rhyme scheme at all. This could connect to the idea of relationships and the idea of appearance vs. reality. In other words, a relationship might not be what it looks like, and could question the idea of love in general. The use of structure, language and style was effectively used throughout the poem to emphasize the objectification of women and their ability to seduce men with their ... In order to understand the cultural meaning of the people, places, and events that shaped their lives, we must not only read history, but also listen to it (Loew 11). When we listen to history, it can be recognized by means of how the author acknowledges that written accounts of people and their lives does in fact offer a valuable source of information, but it diminishes in comparison to what could actually be learned from those who actually come from that history. Additionally, in order to actually listen to history it s important to read it but it also means that we must be able to understand it. If we can understand history, we can use our understandings of history to apply it to history over time. History is important when listening to the past because of the fact that it gives people an understanding of how people s cultures have evolved over time. This also allows us to learn from the past and hopefully prevent making the same mistakes again in the future. Passing stories down is another important component in order to listen to history due to the fact that oral history has allowed us to construct the past and get more crucial details. Throughout the book there are several examples of how the author listened to history in order to write her book.
