Why I Am An Engineer
Engineering is a field of boundless possibilities that makes everything that we do possible. Ranging
from bridges field with civil engineering and medical field with biomechanical engineering to the
oil industry with petroleum engineering, engineering is a vast field of opportunities.

in specific that stand out. The play s foreshadowing, symbolism, and irony all contribute the

company Bantam Books. It was published in New York in 1987 and the story of the book takes
place around this time as well. The significance of the title is to hint at the central idea of the

having bizarre occurrences described by both the main character and another character in the

main characters, Mike Raglan, Erik Hokart, and a strange young woman named Kawasi. Mike
Raglan is a keenly intelligent person, as well as determined, which is what drives the plot

start the conflict of the story. The young woman Kawasi is a strange woman with brown skin and
a heavy accent. She is a very odd addition to the story as she is alien to the worldin Utah. Of the
three characters, Erik Hokart has the largest influence on the plot, being that he is the reason there

change, it will likely be suppressed and seen as an act of rebellion as most people follow tradition
simply because that s just how it is , and never seem to question why. Suzanne Collin s novel The
Hunger Games and Shirley Jackson s short story The Lottery best illustrate this point by showing
