Eugene Peterson Essay
Eugene Peterson and Bono are two completely diverse men, but together, they make quite an
intriguing pair of friends. Eugene Peterson, an American born clergyman, scholar, professor
author, and poet is known for creating The Message: The Bible in Contemporary Language
translation. On the other hand, 30 years his junior, Irish born and raised, Bono, is best known as
the lead vocalist for the rock band, U2. However, these unlikely friends do have one thing in
common, their Christian faith. It was actually through Peterson s, The Message, that the two met
and became friends. Because of their Christian beliefs, they have used their calling, vocation, art
and media to impact culture for the sake of the Gospel. Both men have received the... Show more

During the video, their individual worldviews were shown through the various things they said
or sometimes, did not say. It was very clear in the video that Peterson is a professing Christian;
even a person who is not aware of all of his Christian books and teachings that he has produced
would come away agreeing that he is a Christian. In the video, Peterson references Christ when
he says, The world is violent and is the answer to that more violence or less? The answer is the
cross. Peterson is most well known for his Bible translation, The Message, which presents
scripture in modern day language. However, this version is quite controversial in Christian
circles because some feel that it water downs God word while others validate the translation.
Early on in the documentary, Peterson calls Bono a companion in the faith, however, Bono made
no comment about Christ even when Peterson brought up Jesus and in fact, he even said that he
is skeptical of Christians because he feels that they lack realism. He made it obvious that he was
not including himself as Christian when he said that. Based on the film, I am hesitant to label him
as a follower of Christ because of a lack of evidence that points to him being a Christian.
According to 1 John 4, we recognize the Spirit of God in someone when they acknowledge that

TIMES magazine recently announced that Angela Merkel, Chancellor of Germany, the TIMES

many aspects, including the capitalistic economy, which few countries ever achieve. Even though
there are many reasons why people speculate that Germany is socialist, Germany is capitalistic

Before World War 2, Adolf Hitler stated that Germany is socialist but changed his views regularly.
After World War 2, Germany got split in half by the United States, France, Soviet Union, and New
England to East Germany and West Germany. As a result, the United States, France, and New
England made East Germany democratic and the Soviet Union made West Germany communist. By
having a democratic government, the economy also got changed to be capitalistic. In addition,
today Germany is a Parliamentary Democracy. The government plays a crucial role in Germany s
economy. There are three main figures responsible for the economic policy, the chancellor, minister
for economics, and minister of finance. The chancellors role in the economy depends on their
personal style. Some chancellors such as Helmut Schmidt, shaped and coordinated the economic
policies and kept contact with businesses and the financial communities. The minister of finance is
responsible of the federal budget and manages domestics and international financial policies for
Germany. On the other hand, the minister of economics stays as a channel for communication

Malnutrition And Crohn s Disease
Malnutrition is a condition in which a person is not getting the right amount of nutrients that they
need to remain healthy. It can range from being mild to being detrimental to both physical and
mental health. It can occur because a person is not eating a diet that provides enough nutrients the
body needs, or the person is not absorbing the nutrients that the body is receiving. Even lacking one
vitamin from your diet is considered malnutrition. Malnutrition can also be a result of Crohn s
disease, cystic fibrosis, celiac disease, or persistent diarrhea or vomiting. Having anorexia is also a
cause of malnutrition because of the restrictive calorie intake. Drug addiction or being an alcoholic
can affect the body s ability to absorb the nutrients which will cause malnutrition as well. It is
possible to be obese and have malnutrition if they are not getting enough nutrients from all the food

because their immune system is weaker. If there has been any unintended weight loss in 3 to 6
months such as a loss of 5 10% weight loss, malnutrition may be suspected. Calculating the BMI or

How Johnny Cade Character Changes Essay
In life, people change in different ways due to specific moments that affect their outlook on life.
Like people, characters in books change. Johnny Cade changes from timid and shy to gallant
and strong. Johnny is the character that changes the most in this story. The bigger factors that
change Johnny throughout the story are his cruel parents as well as a church fire. In the story,
Johnny has a lot of problems at home that affect his feelings throughout the beginning of the
book to make him a timid and fearful boy. Johnny s father abuses him daily, his mother ignores
him, he gets whipped a lot, and sometimes he even runs away. This causes his characteristic of
being quiet. He gets treated badly in his house, and that causes him to be shy. Since he thinks his
parents don t love him, he never realizes what love and affection actually is. Ponyboy thinks, if it
hadn t been for the gang, Johnny would never have known what love and affection are. Also,
Johnny s appearance can show how Johnny gets treated. His eyes look like a lost dark puppy in a

he said I used to talk about killing myself I don t want to die now. It ain t long enough. Not only

tough he wants to be now. Another indication of Johnny s way of helping others was when he
said, I don t mind dying now, their lives are worth more than mine in the letter Pony read. When
Johnny writes this, it causes people to think why he would do that for kids and how caring he is
to little children. Another line is Johnny s last words Stay gold Ponyboy. Stay gold . His last
words shows how Johnny expects Ponyboy to stay and be the same when Johnny isn t around and

Models Of Relational Models
Relational Models
In depth review on relational models theory reveals four relational models that people use
(unconsciously) to plan and to generate their own action, to understand, remember, and anticipate
others action, to coordinate the joint production of collective action and institutions, and to evaluate
their own and others actions (Bridoux Stoelhorst, 2016:232). This theory gives insight on how
mental representations of relationships affect contributions to joint value creation.
Communal Sharing (CS): actor is characterized by a fusion of the self with the community. In this
type of relational models, the community identity is psychologically salient while the personal
identity is rendered invisible/pushed to the background. In CS frame, everybody sees ... Show more

In addition, the relational theory emphasize further that the four models are sufficient enough to
generate the very high diversity in social relationships observed in practice based on the following
two reasons. First, actors relationship behavior/disposition may be different if found in different
domain of their relationship, and it outcomes variety across relationships (Fiske Haslam, 2005;
Fiske, 2012; Bridoux Stoelhorst, 2016). Second, the cultural context (i.e., organizational, ethnic
national, etc.), ascertain the precise implementation rules of the relational models. In other words,
when, how, and with whom to implement each relational model ( e.g,. in order to operate EM,
actors must have a shared understanding of the exact proper interval between receiving and giving

in vernacular which tells the reader a little more about her as a writer and person. The vernacular
tells you the region or area of the ordinary people that live there, giving you background on their
background culture. With the background you shared in class we know she came from a high
middle class family that moved from New Jersey to St. Louis which was a very racially
segregated area. The meaning behind this piece was the make the reader react with his or her

Have you ever thought about the effects that the use of adobe s latest photo editing software is
having on young woman today? The odds are 50/50 and from there, there is a chance that that if I

Currently anything and everything is affecting children from forms of disciplining to modes of

The factors, issues, and occurrences that are found in a company s industry and competitive
environment should be considered the strongest of the external threats. However, the factors and
forces in a company s macro environment having the biggest strategy shaping impact typically
pertain to the company s immediate industry and competitive environment the actions of rivals
firms, buyer behavior, supplier related conditions, and so on (Thompson, et al., 2010, p. 57).
Environmental scanning is very important to the health and success of a business. This is
especially true of SRI . Since SRI is dealing a lot with the foreclosure and REO markets,
environmental scanning will be needed to keep the company abreast of constant and volatile
changes in this market. SRI will constantly need to use this process to be able to keep up with
changes in different variations in their macro environment. Babatunde, amp; Adebisi states that:
Environmental scanning is the process of dealing with the measurement, projection and evaluation
of changes in the different environment variables (Oladele, 2006). Most of the organization[s]
today are developing different types of strategies that will sustain them in their business
environment, and this can only be achieved through the analysis of the environment.(Opportunity
and Threats). Oladele (2006) stated some importance to environmental scanning as

Essay on Elsie and Her Mother in Oranges Are Not the Only...
Elsie and Her Mother in Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit
In a story of a young girl coming of age and finding her sexuality in a very religious community,
it is key to have a female figure that plays a key role for the character. A mother should play the
key role but what happens when this role is confused with a very spiritual role? Where will a
young girl turn to when her life goes against the rules society has set for her?
Jeanette has lived a sheltered life with no influence on her except for the church. Her mother is a
strict Christian with a deep resentment for things and people not within her fold. Being brought up
in a society where going against the norm is a sin. A society that shakes its head at acts of

These differences between these two women are what make Jeanette a rounded person, if not a
confused one at first. Jeanette gained a sense a self with her mother. She knew she was to work
with the Lord and teach his words to others. Her goal in life was to go and be a missionary, to teach
others how to believe in God. Combined with this imbedded sense of self is the confidence Elsie
gave her. Elsie not only understood
the word of the Lord and came from within the society Jeanette grew up in, she had a sense of the
world around her, that the world didn?t start and stop with the preaching of the Lord. Elsie gave
Jeanette a feeling of fellowship, a deep friendship that was based on true feelings, not the Lord.
In one part of the book Elsie helps Jeanette with the transition of home schooling, which was
based on biblical texts, to public schooling. Elsie gave Jeanette a way of incorporating her
biblical background into a public school setting, even if it did shock and raise eyebrows. The
older woman gave Jeanette a much needed avenue to express herself. At this time her mother is
not too upset with the friendship. She likes the reaction Jeanette is getting from her religious art
works and other biblical oddities that seem out of place in public school. Elsie is still seen as a
fellow follower, a follower of Jeanette?s mother.
The relationship between Elsie and her mother gets strained after Jeanette is

Canadian Immigration Summary
A brief summary
This book is written from an economic perspective by three economic professors emeritus at
Queen s university. The purpose of the book is to inform readers of political science, public
policy, governmental agency, and immigration studies about the changes in immigration policies. It
also gives some ideas on how to improve policies geared specifically towards the skilled worker s
immigration category. According to the authors, it acts as a statistic reference for professors and
researchers. It is likewise a great source for people that are interested in social studies. In this book,
authors discuss mainly the development of Canadian Immigration policy, the history of this
complicated immigration process and some major changes ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

It is a major change that is affecting the current economic immigration policy and the Canadian
labor market. Ever since the authors noticed that FSWP is playing a smaller role as immigration
policy became more responsive to the short term need of Canadian employers. They declare that
this is tragic to the durable development of our society because it only satisfies the short term
need in the job market. As for me, even though it is understandable in having temporary workers
can be a quick solution to the labor market shortage. At the same time, it can also solve the
problem of the long delays of FSWP. However, it creates two different treatments towards
immigrants and temporary workers in the long run. Consequently, it will affect local Canadians
greatly by having double standards. Therefore, I believe our top priority should be focused on how
to balance the current and temporary needs of the labor market from the periodical workers and the
long term demands of the higher qualified

The term cognition refers to all the mental structures and processes involved in reception, storage,

Copious research has been conducted by psychologists on memory and different methods to how to

made weapons and turned out supplies for the war. After the fighting ended, the same factories

How To Check Casinos
There are a lot of casinos and choosing one can be quite confusing if you do not take everything
into account. There are many things to consider when looking for quality online casinos. However,
one strategy that many people use is the use of a website that looks at them. In this way, users can
simply go out and enjoy the casinoswithout any problem. So, listed below are some tips for
checking the websites that check casinos online, so the website is guided by you.
Sites considered
One of the things that websites would consider looking at online casinos is the actual number of
sites that are considered. Ideally, you want a lot here; because you do not want to rely solely on
a website that only takes into account certain websites. If there are not a lot of websites reviewed,
it becomes very difficult to get a good website, since the number of options, to start with, is pretty
low. Therefore, you do not have to end up on a good website as planned. ... Show more content on

of games and the game itself, before determining if it s a good website after all. In many cases,

after careful consideration of slot machines and other traditional games. of poker.
Security aspects
Of course, because you are dealing with real money, it is useful to know that your credentials will
not be abused or exposed to intensive entities. When it comes to different casino sites, it helps to
ensure that your money is uselessly useful and that you can enjoy the casinos and no longer worry

Analysis Of Before The Law By Jennifer Gonnerman
In Before The Law , an article written by Jennifer Gonnerman published in The New Yorker, the
dispiriting true story of a teen from the Bronx is used as a precedent to highlight the glaring
problems with New York City s criminal justice system. In May of 2010, sixteen year old Kalief
Browder and his friends were arrested on robbery charges after returning home from a party in the
Bronx. The ensuing events led him in and out of holding cells, granted him a bail of three thousand
dollars (which his family was unable to afford), and eventually led to him being transferred to the
infamous Rikers Island; Where, despite never being convicted of any crime (let alone receiving a
fair trial), he was imprisoned for nearly four years. Gonnerman... Show more content on

An example of this includes Gonnerman describing Browder s realization that he was not going
to be released after his wrongful arrest, or detailing his feeling of panic as he was transported to

Gonnerman appeals to the logic of the reader by following Browder s anecdotes with supportive
statistics and investigative findings from reputable sources. She uses the citation of evidence to
give weight and help expand on the context of Browder s experiences. This includes the excerpts
of statistical information from studies, such as in 2011 seventy four percent of felony cases in the
Bronx were older than six months , which reinforces Browder s personal experience with the
Bronx court system and also clearly indicates that Browder s circumstance is not an uncommon
one. This also includes the citation of the court index card s text, reading the list of the
preposterous amount of delays requested by the prosecutor, which provides tangible and explicit
evidence to the reader of the dysfunctionality of the Bronx s court system, and also helps the reader
empathize with Browder s frustration.
Perhaps the most powerful of these appeals to logic would be the citation of the Sixth Amendment

s most predominant pieces of classical propaganda for the army. During World War I propaganda
was viewed by many high powered governmental officials as another form of warfare, which was
considered just as significant as the actual combat fighting during the time. The core focus of
propaganda was to encourage the public and bring unity within the nation in order to fight and

Lemonade Stand, Part 1
Develop a creative name for your lemonade stand, and then explain why a name is important
when you are considering branding options. The name that I have chosen to go with for my
lemonade stand is The Lemonators . The reason I picked this name is because it sounds like my
lemonade stand is the destroyer of all lemons to make nothing less than the perfect glass of ice
cold liquid gold; or as others like to call it, lemonade. I believe that my lemonade stand name is
important when I am considering branding options because I believe that the name is genius. It s
catchy; there is no way that a customer that stops by for a quick quench of their thirst will forget a
name like The Lemonators. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Also, we promise on using only all natural ingredients to make our lemonade. This means that we
will be using things such as naturally grown fruit, no artificial sweeteners, etc. This would mean
that in order for us to sweeten our lemonade, we would only be using natural sweeteners, such as
brown sugar. That is my business Corporate Social Responsibility plan. The textbook lists many
different types of pricing strategies, please pick one of these and explain how you will deliver
on this strategy with your stand. (Chapter 14) The pricing strategy that I chose is marketing
objectives. Our company will deliver on this strategy to this stand by competing with our
competitor s stand. Our competitor, Jimmy, manages the Lemonade Stand Liquid Yellow charges
$1.50 for one cup of lemonade. However, they use artificial ingredients, such as artificial
flavoring and coloring, white sugar, etc. My company decided that we want to have a price that
is higher than Jim s price. We decided that we want to charge $2.00 for a cup of lemonade. We
decided to charge this price because unlike Jim s stand, we use all natural ingredients, which cost
more than artificial ingredients and are healthier for you than artificial ingredients are. That is my
company s pricing strategy.
Even though you only sell to local customers, you understand that you could package your
lemonade and sell it online globally. Evaluate whether or not the company should go global by

Puritan Beliefs
Puritan view of Religion
God directed all the events by the exercise of his will and aimed at directing all these events to an
intelligent end.
Puritans placed emphasis on the righteousness and sovereignty of God.
Human beings were sinners who were not able to attain salvation and be pure in the eyes of God.
Puritans believed in predestination and that all human beings were to conform to divine law.
The Puritan role in society was to be the people of God and create another form of Jerusalem.
An individual should have an intimate relationship with God in order to redeem themselves from
harmful sin.
Puritans should become holy and set the example for those who remained in England to change
their sinful habits.
Puritans needed to associate themselves with the predestined elect (Puritans who were guaranteed
their way to heaven) to become an official member of the church.
Strictly avoided witchcraft related practices, as it went against God s expectations.
Believed in the Devil and his possession of members in society who did not withhold Puritan
religious views (specifically women and children).
Believed in the strict interpretation of the Bible, as it was God s work.

The Netherlands has a temperate maritime climate due to a long coast with the Atlantic Ocean.1
The Atlantic Ocean influences the climate by giving the Netherlands cool summers along with
moderate winters; much milder when compared to Ontario s continental climate.2 The daytime
temperatures range from 2В°C 6В°C in the winter and 17В°C 20В°C in the summer.3 The
Netherlands also experiences wet weather year round with little snowfall during the winter. Rain is

iron ore, in mines excavated by Rio Tinto, being the tier three suppliers.19 Next, the iron is
shipped from Australia to China, Mexico, Taiwan, and Japan, again by Rio Tinto.20 Following,
the iron ore is received by Baosteel, in China, being a second tier supplier, where it is transformed

company, where the shift levers, the cassette, and the brake levers are created.24 KMC, Promax,
and Full Speed Ahead also receive the steel at the plants in Taiwan, where the bicycle chain, breaks,

Ethical Dilemmas In Clinical Research
In this chapter, we primarily discuss about clinical trials and a few sources of publicly available
clinical trial datasets that have been utilized for our experiments.
2.1 Clinical trials
Clinical trials are conducted to add medical knowledge related to treatment diagnosis, preventing
certain diseases or testing new drugs on human volunteers before releasing to the market. In
clinical trials, participants receive specific interventions in the form of drugs, medical products,
procedures or change in the behavior such as diet. Several phases involved in clinical trials tend to
generate a lot of data [2].
ClinicalTrials.gov is designed to benefit community of clinical researchers by expanding access to
clinical trial data. Clinical trial registry launched by clinicaltrials.gov, has data for more than
100,000 clinical studies and has promoted the state of clinical research. As per the instructions of
ClinicalTrials.gov, data providers have to specify outcome measures and timeframe of the clinical
trials. This has helped a growing number of clinical researchers to conduct a several primary and
secondary analyses. The contribution of publicly available clinical trial data will continue to make
significant impact on clinical research enterprise [1]. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Mountain Massacre Research Paper
The Mountain meadows massacre was a series of attacks on the Baker Fancher emigrant wagon

September 11, 1857, resulting in the mass slaughter of the emigrant party by members of the Utah
Territorial Militia from the Iron County district, together with some paiute native americans. The
militia, officially called the Nauvoo, was composed of southern Utah s mormon settlers (members
of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints). Intending to leave no witnesses and thus
prevent reprisals, the perpetrators killed all the adults and older children about 120 men, women,

Advantages And Disadvantages Of Android
An operating system is one of an important system that should have inside a computer. It contains
instructions that coordinate all the activities among the computer hardware resources. Without an
operating system, all of the computers cannot be used or started. The role of the operating system
is to manage the software and hardware so that easy to control all of the activities depending on
what the programs need (Curt Franklin, 2000).
Next, there are four basic functions of the operating system. Memory management takes part in
main memory which is Random Acess Memory (RAM). It retains the space of the main memory
and checks whether it is valid and legal for the memory space request. The memory manager also
can track the usage of memory by sections.
Besides, processor management is also essential managers of the operating system. Basically, it

East-West Schism Vs. Eastern Orthodox Christianity
For the first one thousand years of their existence, these churches were the same institution. The
split between the Western and Eastern Christian churches into the Roman Catholic and Eastern
Orthodox churches is referred to as the Great Schism or, more definitively, the East West Schism ,
which occurred in 1054. This occurred due to long running cultural and theological differences,
power struggles, and lack of communication. Prominently they argued over what type bread
(leavened vs. unleavened) to use to represent the body of Christ in the Eucharist. Each side had
developed different traditions. But how different are they really? They have so much in common,
what exactly do they believe that made them diverge?
Both the Roman Catholics and the Orthodox Christians agree on which scriptures are the
recognized gospels, on the same seven sacraments/mysteries. They share similar beliefs of who
Mary was and see her as their greatest saint.
Despite the fact that both are branches of Christianity as a whole, Eastern Orthodox Christianity and
Roman Catholicism seem to have poor opinions of each other. They share many core beliefs

Case Study on Nol
Introduction
In November 1997, the acquisition of APL by NOL was successful. As compared to the larger
US based APL; NOL was a small Singapore firm. Through this acquisition, it appeared that NOL
was ready to become an industry leader in the shipping industry. Thus this acquisition is a strategy
through which NOL buys a controlling, 100 per cent, interest in APL with the intent of making the
acquired firm a subsidiary business within its portfolio. Thus APL became a wholly owned
subsidiary of Singapore based NOL, a global transportation and logistics company engaged in
shipping and related businesses.
Below is the study of the problems and strategies that NOL faced or is facing during the acquisition
and integration of APL. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Although both financial and strategic controls are important, on a relative basis financial controls
are vital to headquarters evaluation of each SBU; strategic controls are also critical to the
headquarters efforts to determine whether the business has formed an effective portfolio of
businesses and whether those businesses are being successfully managed.
Sharing competencies among units within an SBU is an important characteristic of the SBU form
of the multi divisional structure. The drawback to the SBU structure is that multi faceted
businesses often have difficulties in communicating this complex business model to stockholders.
Strategic Leadership and Style
NOL appointed a foreigner, Denmark national Flemming Jacobs as its new CEO to run the
business in June 1999. Flemmings was a respected veteran from the shipping industry s leading
firm Maersk.
Strategic leadership is the ability to anticipate, envision, maintain flexibility and empower others to
create strategic change as necessary. The ability to attract and then manage human capital may be
the most critical of the strategic leader s skills, especially in light of the fact that not being able to
fill key positions with talented human capital constrains the firm growth.
A firm s ability to achieve a competitive advantage and earn above returns is compromised when
strategic leader fail to respond appropriately and quickly to changes in the complex global
environment. The inability

Charles Dickens and William Marley s Beliefs in the...
William Marley grew up in London. The celebrated writer Charles Dickens often visited William s
father, a renowned and wealthy doctor with a shared interest in child welfare. Dickens loved
unusual names. He decorated his writings with them. At a party at the Marley home in 1843 he
promised to make his host s then uncommon surname a household word. In A Christmas Carol,
published that December, he named the main protagonist in the story for his friend. By New Years
Eve, the book had sold fifteen thousand copies, and Dickens had honoured his promise. Throughout
the United Kingdom, people spoke the names Scrooge, Cratchit, Fezziwig... and Marley.
Dickens believed that if all children, whatever their circumstance, could attend school, society
would benefit. The social message of A Christmas Carol inspired widespread enthusiasm for
universal education; enthusiasm which gained momentum throughout the Victorian era, even in far
distant corners of the Her Majesty s Realm.
William Marley followed his father into medicine, but never achieved the same success. By
1884 he toiled far from the culture and learning of London in a remote corner of the Empire. He
had little time to ponder social welfare or literary interests. At fifty years of age, guilt and worry
clouded his days. In Stanthorpe, where he first lived in Queensland, and then here in Port Douglas,
he and his wife had led active social lives. That lifestyle cost money. Now ill, and convinced he

The Importance Of Corporate Social Responsibility And Ikea
The Importance of Corporate Social Responsibility to IKEA
This essay is about the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to IKEA. Corporate
Social Responsibility is a broad subject comprising of many definitions. It can be defined as, the
social responsibility of a business that encompasses the economic, legal, ethical and discretionary
expectations that society has of the organization at a given point in time (Carroll, 1979).
Expectations of society have been the key driver for how important and widely adopted CSR has
become in today s business world.
In a competitive business environment where consumers are increasingly aware of their buying
power, they are asserting their right to not only demand quality but hold companies to account to
high standards. They are concerned with where the goods were originated, the conditions under
which the goods are manufactured and what ethos a brand stands by. It has become crucial for a
business to be built on ethical practices in order for an organization to maintain its success. Over
time the idea of CSR just being an unnecessary expense has shifted, with it coming as far as being
called out as a, definitively important strategic issue , Businesses now see CSR as a method of
generating and protecting income through creating a good brand image and customer loyalty.
Not only but also smaller of organisations gain when Corporate Social Responsibility is

John Fitzgerald Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas at 12:30 on November 22, 1963. JFK
was our 35th president of the United States, he was loved by many Americans and only some hated
him, which might have led to the Kennedy assassination. He was assassinated by Lee Harvey
Oswald, a U.S. Marine American Sniper who secretly went to the Soviet Union for unknown
reasons. The day of the assassination was a huge uproar, it happened so fast that many Americans
couldn t explain what they saw, this created conspiracy theories. A conspiracy theory is a belief

Many witnesses of the shooting said they saw smoke coming from the grassy knoll, this caused
speculations that the shooter was located to the right of Kennedy, this could be argued why
Kennedy s head went back from the backlash of the bullet. People who tuned into the assassination
believed that there was a shooter from the Texas School Depository, then this came along and they
all jumped from one shooter to multiple shooters, this connects to the other conspiracy theory of
multiple shooters. Citizens who filmed the assassination released their film along with the Zapruder
film, this was a huge advantage for the government. The grassy knoll was a highlight of these films,
people discovered a silhouette that looked like a dog or a human, it was later called the Black Dog
Man . People could argue this thing was the shooter because throughout the film this thing showed
suspicious activity. Throughout the JFK assassination there were many speculations and conspiracy
theories that Americans discovered. This brought America together to find out who shot the
president, it was a huge mystery at the time and still is to this day. When the Zapruder film came
out, the Warren report, and more evidence, this started many conspiracy and arguments between the
government and Americans. Overall, one can conclude that the JFK assassination had the most

* I personally feel The Equality Act is one of the most important legislations to have been
introduced in recent times, it is astounding that until recently woman were over looked in the work
place so frequently. It is of particular interest that woman wishing to return to work are now given
the opportunity to continue nurturing their child by breast feeding and also outside of the
workplace ie in public places. * The Equality Act is there to protect everyone whether in
employment or not. It is there to ensure we are all on an equal footing and that everyone regardless
of their social status, race, sex, sexual orientation, religion, mental health or intellectual acuity is
treated with due respect and presented with equal opportunities. * As a childcare provider this
would mean treating all children and their families or carers with respect and dignity irrespective
of their colour, creed or special needs that the child or adult might have etc. and ensuring that
opportunities to learn and develop are obtainable to all based on their particular level of
development. Data Protection Act (1998)

Force Of Natural Selection
. In my own words when I think of natural selection I think that it means that the fittest survive. Also
that when the fitness survive they are automatically given the opportunity to keep their genes
going. This process of the weak dying off and the strong moving on is what makes everything
living thing evolve into the best. The next force of evolutionis genetic drift I think that this means
that just sheer chance the weak genes actually move on and some strong genes do not move on.
The third force of evolution is geneflow and I describe this force as a change in a group because of
certain genes that came into their group from migration or immigration. The last force is mutation
and I describe it as a change in the gene that results in different

Pedagogy Of The Oppressed Chapter 2 Analysis
Chapter 2 of Freire s Pedagogy of the Oppressed discusses a failed teaching method between the
student and teacher. It s a common mistake for teachers to treat the teaching process as a banking
concept . Freire discusses how this concept takes away creativity from students by forcing them to
memorize facts as the teacher deposits them into their minds. It s not expected of the student to
comprehend what they re learning. It s expected of them to take what the teacher is saying as fact
without critically thinking about the meaning behind it. Freire explains,
Education thus becomes an act of depositing, in which the students are the depositories and the
teacher is the depositor. Instead of communicating, the teacher issues communiquГ©s and makes
deposits which the students patiently receive, memorize, and repeat. This is the banking concept of
education, in which the scope of action ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In an oppressive society, a group of individuals are expected to adapt and be controlled by a more
powerful group without question. Similar to a banking concept of education, at times it seems the
student is not expected to think for themselves. They listen to what the teacher deposits into their
mind, and they adapt. I strongly agree that this limits comprehension and creativity and forces you
to adapt to thinking like a robot. He makes a strong case with his analogy, Four times four is
sixteen......The student records, memorizes, and repeats these phrases without perceiving what four
times four really means. It s easy to get discouraged in school when it feels like information is being
thrown at you without much encouragement to fully grasp it. It s nearly impossible to truly
understand a concept when you re forced to memorize it immediately for a test. In conclusion,
teachers with this mindset should understand that to be a true educator is to encourage the student
to take the time to comprehend the material

Alison Goodman Analysis
WARNING this novel has no cringe worthy romance!
Honestly this was a cover buy, the synopsis sounded well, but who can say no to a cover with a
dragon and a female holding what seems to be kantana s. I m not gonna lie, this book is like your
average young adult fantasy book, power is entrusted on the main character who comes from
nothing but dirt. The power brings him or her to the ranks of highly honored people. War happens
because everyone is hungry for power, the emperor dies and his handsome son has to save his
kingdom and usually chooses it over the main character, and drama happens with the occasional
kiss. Alison Goodman did just that but better; honestly it was a refreshing twist on the overly done
story plot. Although Goodman used such an overly used story line I was still hooked, shocked, and

Bruce Springsteen s, Worlds Apart, focuses on a somewhat continuous problem about loveand

In one of the lines of his song he writes, Neath Allah s blessed rain we remain worlds apart, the
line itself shows how hard it is to remain together under Allah. Bruce describes trying to love a
Muslim woman and mentioning how it feels as they remain, Worlds Apart. The exaggeration in
this shows the vast extent of the conflicts between love and Muslim culture. Bruce is unable to be
with the woman he loves as her religion cannot accept his love. Unable to be together due to
someone s lifestyle makes us see the bigger picture, of how loving someone from a different
religion has turned into a crime.
Another line in which shows us the conflict between love and Muslim culture is when Bruce
mentions May the living let us in before the dead tear us apart. Bruce s plea in this line shows us
the great extent, of the problem between love and Muslim culture. The line itself shows the
desperation of being accepted by people before having others come and tear them apart. Bruce
makes it seem as if love has become completely forbidden due to the differences. The usage of the
line, the dead tear us apart, show how even the dead people who aren t living are capable of
tearing two living beings from each other.
In another line, bruce mentions, But when I look into your eyes we remain worlds apart. Bruce
s constant repetition of the words Worlds apart , enables us as the reader to see precisely how
clashing Muslim religion and love can be. Our belief and religion can often change how we act or
dress and even change how we associate ourselves with others. Love is a feeling we

What Is Poverty In The United States
Poverty The existing of poverty in the United States is very prominent even in the 21st century.
Poverty can affect all race, gender, society, and community. However, if this does occur, no one
particular person is exempt from it. There is no labeling on who will be the next individual or
family that will reap this unfavorable thing. Unfortunately, povertyin the United Statescan attack a
household at any time. Once this happens, poverty can last for a lifetime or a certain period of
time. According to the text, every person has an one in five chance of being poor in any given
year, but poverty in one year does not predict poverty in the future years (p. 180). The text
describes this poverty has short term or long term. It depends on their

Essay On The Fall Of The Roman Empire
The Fall of Roman Empire
A empire can only last so long that it eventually falls apart. Roman Empire is known to be one of
the largest empire to ever exist. It is unbelievable to human eyes, how far it expanded. It was
stretched from Africa to Europe towards the Middle East. It was only possible through roman
military power expansion. They found it easy to conquer their neighbor and take their resources.
Because the empire was big, romans found it hard to communicate and organize. Later on, it was
split in half by Diocletian later known as western and eastern roman empire. When talked about the
fall of the Roman Empire its only the fall of the western empire empire, eastern last another

Rome once known as Roman Republic changed the path on how to rule their vast empire. Ernst
argues, the transformation of Roman government from what we may term a democracy to a
legitimized dictatorship . The start of monarchy was with the emperor Octavian also known as
Augustus Caesar. This emperor took control to improve the broken empire seized sole control of
the state after the Battle of Actium in 31 B.C.E. and succeeded in re establishing an autocratic
form of government (Ernst). The republic which rome had shown dominant over centuries had
ended and a new way had started. In result, the consolidation of power in the person of the
emperor led to a reduction of incentives for others (Ernst). When a king rules, he overrules all the
authority and implies all the polices in his favor without acknowledging feelings of other people.
Unlike now(monarchy), each branch of power was well balanced; the monarchic element
represented by the power of the consuls, the aristocratic element by the Senate, and the democratic
element by the power of the people to elect officeholders and by their important role in the law
courts as jurors (Ernst). Citizens lost faith, when the people did not benefit from the emperor who
was in power to fulfill the needs of his citizens. Soon, the communication between the government
and the people also got lost. As situation got out of hand, the core connection which the empire had

Anxiety Disorders Case Study
1.I believe that this type of behavior is Abnormal. According to the textbook, it states that, Anxiety
disorders have in common the physical, cognitive, behavioral symptoms (Chapter 4, page 117). It
also states that, Each disorder, the anxiety is expressed differently and how some people are
anxious about public speaking, some do not like to travel on planes (Chapter 4, page 117). It
appears to me that Tom has an anxietydisorder against escalators because Tom gets extremely
uncomfortable while riding on escalators; therefor, Tom tends to avoid them. This possibly could
be due to a tragic event that happened while riding on an escalator and this is why Tom might get
uneasy riding them because it triggers bad memories. Another possible... Show more content on

Last but not least, I was also stuck on this question. I know that this type of behavior is abnormal
because most men do not wear women s clothing nor do most men enjoy wearing women s
clothes. This type of behavior doesn t appear to harm anyone. He is not harming himself or
others. According to the textbook, it states that, Transsexualism and transvestic disorder is the
desire and perhaps the need among heterosexual men to dress in women s clothes, but does not
desire to be the opposite sex (Chapter 8, page 279). In my opinion, I believe that the happily
married man who desires to dress in women s clothing might have this type of disorder because it
appears that he desires and enjoys wearing them but doesn t appear to want to turn into the
opposite sex. Perhaps, He was an only child and his mother let him try on some of her clothes
and this type of behavior just stuck to him as he grew older. Perhaps, he has a fetish against
women s clothes and loves to wear them. There could be many explanations to this type of
question. My questions would be: When did this type of activity start or when did you notice this
type of activity starting happening? Are you an only child and did your mother let you try on her
clothes for fun? Is it possible that you might have a fetish towards women s clothing? Why does
female clothes and trying them on spark your interest? Are trying these clothes comforting to

Social And Economic Causes And Disadvantages Of Homelessness
As of 2015, about 567,708 people experienced homelessness on a single night (National Alliance to
End Homelessness, n.d.). My interest to research the information needs of this user group arose
because this is a group in society that is sometimes overlooked and underrepresented. Additionally, I
felt like the social and economic factors of this group is unique and the accessibility or barriers to
information can heavily impact the economic mobility of people in this user group. In the article,
Are the economically poor information poor? Does the digital divide affect the homeless and access
to information? Author Julie Hersberger analyzes the information needs of those who are homeless,
their information seeking behavior, their sources of information, and how useful the Internet is as a
means to gain useful information. However, before examining these key points it s important to
understand the causes of homelessnessbecause it can give an insight on the types of information
this user group would need. Hersberger states that there are several, if not many causes of
homelessness. Some of these causes include lack of affordable housing, poverty, unemployment,
domestic violence, mental illness, high costing health care, and addiction (Hersberger, 2003). To
gather data that would give insight into the information needs, information seeking behavior,
information sources, and the usefulness of the Internet as a tool to gain information, the author

with being kind to your man. What I mean here is you should not always being so kind to him.
Occasionally, playing hard to get to will keep his interests in you. Because men consider things
precious when they have to make some effort to get. The reason to have this is to let him feel that

Preterm Babies
Preterm babies are those that are born before 37 months of pregnancy are over. It is the under
developmental state of these babies that puts them at a higher risk of developing complications
after birth. Good examples of these are complications of the respiratory system that affect the ability
of the neonate to inhale and exhale air. Lung complications are common respiratory problems in
preterm infants. In most cases, the lung matures after 36 weeks, but this differs in fetuses as they
exhibit variability in their rates of development. Respiratory distress syndrome (RDS) is a common
lung problem in preterm babies, and it occurs as a result of the inability of the lungs to synthesize
enough surfactant. The surfactant is important in the lungs

My Goals For This Class Based On The Sensory And Diangelo...
My goals for this class based on the Sensory and DiAngelo reading were to focus less on grades
and more on understanding of the concepts, the second was to strive for intellectual humility by
accepting what I do not know and being open to the concepts I do not know, my last goal was to
learn from my reactions towards subject material the may have bothered me by journaling or
researching more about the topic. (Sensory DiAngelo, 2012) These goals I set for the class were
met at times, but at other times I feel that I did not meet these goals as well as I intended to. The
first goal to focus less on grades was mostly met. I found myself not caring about the grades, but
then when I had trouble with a concept or I found myself taking longer to understand what was
being asked of me in the homework assignment I began to feel like my mark would suffer or that
I would get a really bad mark, and although I never got a very terrible mark, I did find myself
focusing on it too much at times. I found it was easier to focus less on the grade at the beginning
and at the end of the semester, so I just need to work on managing my stress in the middle of the
semester to keep myself from nitpicking my grades. I did find that when I did have the time to
write out notes for the readings or even just having notes in the margins it helped me understand
and my grades then reflected that, so for the future I will have to remember to keep that in mind.
For the second goal, which was to strive

Cough In The Commonplace
Almost every commonplace scenario has a polite phrase that goes alongside it. When someone
sneezes, a scattered symphony of bless you s follows soon afterward. When you receive a gift of
kindness, it is appropriate to respond with a thank you . When accepting another s gratitude, it is
typical to say, You re welcome . But what do you say when someone coughs? By normal people s
standards, the answer to that question is nothing at all. After a person coughs, not a single word is
uttered, leaving an empty silence which desires to be filled with something. A while back in
middle school, it was this palpable feeling of emptiness which drove me to ponder the nature of
this situation. How could there be no phrase to respond to a cough? I

The Champagne Fairs
The first of the three themes stated by Abu Lughod is the European Subsystem and how it plays a
roll in the world system. Three topics emerge from this theme: Cities of the Champagne Fairs (51),
Bruges and Ghent (commercial and industrial cities of Flanders) (78), and the merchant mariners of
Genoa and Venice (102). First, Champagne fairs. Champagne fairs were an annual cycle of trading
fairs held in towns within the Champagne region. Unfortunately the Champagne region does not
involve champagne. The Champagne region is northeast of France, lying between the boundaries of
Belgium and Paris, not excluding contemporary North Africa. Champagne fairs were crucial in
rekindling medieval Europes economy. They served as a primary market for selling and trading,
textiles, fur, leather, and other cultural products. There were a series of six fairs all located in
prime trading spots (Locations: Lagny sure marne, Bar sur Aube, Provins, Troyes). Over time each
fair became subtly more advanced, ultimately reaching a point of organization and development
that was beyond its time. Merchants, as rapacious as they were, began to establish means of credit,
contracts, and business partnerships for trade. Traders that came from over seas reasoned the
creation of systems that made for flexible and efficient arrivals and departures. These traders even
had delegated agents to receive payments for them. Word of who had what spread quickly as
communication and transportation began to integrate.

Research Paper On Poodle
The poodle originated in Germany in the late middle ages, as a water retriever.
Its name in English derives from the German Pudelhund, or dog that splashes in the water. In
France, where the dog quickly rose in prominence to become the national breed, its name was
caniche, a play on the word for duck, canard: a
duck dog. The miniature and toy sizes were bred down from the standard shortly after ward,
making the poodle unique, differing from most other large breeds that have only been recently
miniaturized. Sketches by Albrecht Durer establish the poodle as a sleeve dog a dog used to
warm the hands within the large sleeves of a person s garment as early as the 15th century. By the
18th cen tury, it had become a favorite pet of the Spanish and French royal families. Its early use ...

The need for regular grooming to keep the poodle s coat in order may explain another reason for
the breed s popularity: The claims that the poodle is hypo allergenic. Although all dogs produce
dander, an enzyme in the dog s saliva that gets deposited on the fur as he licks himself, poodles
tend to be brushed and bathed more frequently than other breeds, hence causing fewer allergy
symptoms in their owners. Yet another reason for the breed s popularity is its keen intelligence.
The poodle has been employed as a circus and street performer for hundreds of years, learning to
do calisthenics and parlor tricks; one famous nineteenth century poodle named Munito was said
to be able to read, count, and play chess! The gypsies who wandered Europe began this trend by
keeping poodles to perform in their troupes. In fact, one expert believes that they helped to change
the breed standard from a classic retriever shape to its current square body, in order to improve the

  • 2. Eugene Peterson Essay Eugene Peterson and Bono are two completely diverse men, but together, they make quite an intriguing pair of friends. Eugene Peterson, an American born clergyman, scholar, professor author, and poet is known for creating The Message: The Bible in Contemporary Language translation. On the other hand, 30 years his junior, Irish born and raised, Bono, is best known as the lead vocalist for the rock band, U2. However, these unlikely friends do have one thing in common, their Christian faith. It was actually through Peterson s, The Message, that the two met and became friends. Because of their Christian beliefs, they have used their calling, vocation, art and media to impact culture for the sake of the Gospel. Both men have received the... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... During the video, their individual worldviews were shown through the various things they said or sometimes, did not say. It was very clear in the video that Peterson is a professing Christian; even a person who is not aware of all of his Christian books and teachings that he has produced would come away agreeing that he is a Christian. In the video, Peterson references Christ when he says, The world is violent and is the answer to that more violence or less? The answer is the cross. Peterson is most well known for his Bible translation, The Message, which presents scripture in modern day language. However, this version is quite controversial in Christian circles because some feel that it water downs God word while others validate the translation. Early on in the documentary, Peterson calls Bono a companion in the faith, however, Bono made no comment about Christ even when Peterson brought up Jesus and in fact, he even said that he is skeptical of Christians because he feels that they lack realism. He made it obvious that he was not including himself as Christian when he said that. Based on the film, I am hesitant to label him as a follower of Christ because of a lack of evidence that points to him being a Christian. According to 1 John 4, we recognize the Spirit of God in someone when they acknowledge that Jesus Christ has ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Johnny Cade changes from timid and shy to gallant and strong. Johnny is the character that changes the most in this story. The bigger factors that change Johnny throughout the story are his cruel parents as well as a church fire. Johnny s father abuses him daily, his mother ignores him, he gets whipped a lot, and sometimes he even runs away. This causes his characteristic of being quiet. He gets treated badly in his house, and that causes him to be shy. Since he thinks his parents don t love him, he never realizes what love and affection actually is. Currently anything and everything is affecting children from forms of disciplining to modes of supervising. However, one of the most negative effect technology is having on is found when we look to see who children today are being told to look up to and what we are placing our values on. When a young female between the ages of 8 14 are presented with an image of a size two models; many young woman today nearly instantly think within herself that what they are being presented with is the ideal image that they could mimic. However, the factors and forces in a company s macro environment having the biggest strategy shaping impact typically pertain to the company s immediate industry and competitive environment the actions of rivals firms, buyer behavior, supplier related conditions, and so on (Thompson, et al., 2010, p. 57). Environmental scanning is very important to the health and success of a business. This is especially true of SRI . Since SRI is dealing a lot with the foreclosure and REO markets, environmental scanning will be needed to keep the company abreast of constant and volatile changes in this market. As for me, even though it is understandable in having temporary workers can be a quick solution to the labor market shortage. At the same time, it can also solve the problem of the long delays of FSWP. However, it creates two different treatments towards immigrants and temporary workers in the long run. Consequently, it will affect local Canadians greatly by having double standards. Why is Makita outselling Black and Decker 8 to 1 in an account that gives them equal shelf space? a. Makita provided a good baseline option in all major categories compared to other suppliers who had strengths in particular product(s) e.g. Skil provided good circular saws. b. Home Depot strategy of stocking 30K items at prices 30% less compare to traditional hardware stores with superior customer service helped Makita to gain marketplace dominance. This also helped Makita to gain good perception from Tradesmen segment buyers as their product quality was reasonably good. 2. What should Joe Galli do? Why? c. Analysis Of Before The Law By Jennifer Gonnerman In Before The Law , an article written by Jennifer Gonnerman published in The New Yorker, the dispiriting true story of a teen from the Bronx is used as a precedent to highlight the glaring problems with New York City s criminal justice system. In May of 2010, sixteen year old Kalief Browder and his friends were arrested on robbery charges after returning home from a party in the Bronx. The ensuing events led him in and out of holding cells, granted him a bail of three thousand dollars (which his family was unable to afford), and eventually led to him being transferred to the infamous Rikers Island; Where, despite never being convicted of any crime (let alone receiving a fair trial), he was imprisoned for nearly four years. She uses the citation of evidence to give weight and help expand on the context of Browder s experiences. This includes the excerpts of statistical information from studies, such as in 2011 seventy four percent of felony cases in the Bronx were older than six months , which reinforces Browder s personal experience with the Bronx court system and also clearly indicates that Browder s circumstance is not an uncommon one. The celebrated writer Charles Dickens often visited William s father, a renowned and wealthy doctor with a shared interest in child welfare. Dickens loved unusual names. He decorated his writings with them. At a party at the Marley home in 1843 he promised to make his host s then uncommon surname a household word. In A Christmas Carol, published that December, he named the main protagonist in the story for his friend. By New Years Eve, the book had sold fifteen thousand copies, and Dickens had honoured his promise. Throughout the United Kingdom, people spoke the names Scrooge, Cratchit, Fezziwig... and Marley. Dickens believed that if all children, whatever their circumstance, could attend school, society would benefit. In a competitive business environment where consumers are increasingly aware of their buying power, they are asserting their right to not only demand quality but hold companies to account to high standards. They are concerned with where the goods were originated, the conditions under which the goods are manufactured and what ethos a brand stands by. It has become crucial for a business to be built on ethical practices in order for an organization to maintain its success. The grassy knoll was a highlight of these films, people discovered a silhouette that looked like a dog or a human, it was later called the Black Dog Man . People could argue this thing was the shooter because throughout the film this thing showed suspicious activity. Throughout the JFK assassination there were many speculations and conspiracy theories that Americans discovered. This brought America together to find out who shot the president, it was a huge mystery at the time and still is to this day. When the Zapruder film came out, the Warren report, and more evidence, this started many conspiracy and arguments between the government and Americans. Also that when the fitness survive they are automatically given the opportunity to keep their genes going. This process of the weak dying off and the strong moving on is what makes everything living thing evolve into the best. The next force of evolutionis genetic drift I think that this means that just sheer chance the weak genes actually move on and some strong genes do not move on. The third force of evolution is geneflow and I describe this force as a change in a group because of certain genes that came into their group from migration or immigration. • 35. Pedagogy Of The Oppressed Chapter 2 Analysis Chapter 2 of Freire s Pedagogy of the Oppressed discusses a failed teaching method between the student and teacher. It s a common mistake for teachers to treat the teaching process as a banking concept . Freire discusses how this concept takes away creativity from students by forcing them to memorize facts as the teacher deposits them into their minds. It s not expected of the student to comprehend what they re learning. It s expected of them to take what the teacher is saying as fact without critically thinking about the meaning behind it. Freire explains, Education thus becomes an act of depositing, in which the students are the depositories and the teacher is the depositor. Instead of communicating, the teacher issues communiquГ©s and makes deposits which the students patiently receive, memorize, and repeat. This is the banking concept of education, in which the scope of action ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In an oppressive society, a group of individuals are expected to adapt and be controlled by a more powerful group without question. Similar to a banking concept of education, at times it seems the student is not expected to think for themselves. They listen to what the teacher deposits into their mind, and they adapt. I strongly agree that this limits comprehension and creativity and forces you to adapt to thinking like a robot. He makes a strong case with his analogy, Four times four is sixteen......The student records, memorizes, and repeats these phrases without perceiving what four times four really means. It s easy to get discouraged in school when it feels like information is being thrown at you without much encouragement to fully grasp it. It s nearly impossible to truly understand a concept when you re forced to memorize it immediately for a test. In conclusion, teachers with this mindset should understand that to be a true educator is to encourage the student to take the time to comprehend the material ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Honestly this was a cover buy, the synopsis sounded well, but who can say no to a cover with a dragon and a female holding what seems to be kantana s. I m not gonna lie, this book is like your average young adult fantasy book, power is entrusted on the main character who comes from nothing but dirt. The power brings him or her to the ranks of highly honored people. War happens because everyone is hungry for power, the emperor dies and his handsome son has to save his kingdom and usually chooses it over the main character, and drama happens with the occasional kiss. • 38. Analysis Of Worlds Apart By Bruce Springsteen Love is often a powerful human feeling which, can bring many together. However, this attitude can turn everything into one big problem if not treated accordingly. Worlds apart, by Bruce Springsteen portrays the beautiful story of the conflicts of love and religion. Bruce Springsteen s, Worlds Apart, focuses on a somewhat continuous problem about loveand culture, how sometimes religion isn t able to accept love over differences. Bruce writes about the major conflicts in Muslim culture when it comes to love. He portrays the story of trying to build a bridge over two different lovers from different cultures and the hardships of doing so. In one of the lines of his song he writes, Neath Allah s blessed rain we remain worlds apart, the line itself shows how hard it is to remain together under Allah. Bruce describes trying to love a Muslim woman and mentioning how it feels as they remain, Worlds Apart. The exaggeration in this shows the vast extent of the conflicts between love and Muslim culture. Bruce is unable to be with the woman he loves as her religion cannot accept his love. Unable to be together due to someone s lifestyle makes us see the bigger picture, of how loving someone from a different religion has turned into a crime. Another line in which shows us the conflict between love and Muslim culture is when Bruce mentions May the living let us in before the dead tear us apart. Bruce s plea in this line shows us the great extent, of the problem between love and Muslim culture. The line itself shows the desperation of being accepted by people before having others come and tear them apart. Bruce makes it seem as if love has become completely forbidden due to the differences. The usage of the line, the dead tear us apart, show how even the dead people who aren t living are capable of tearing two living beings from each other. In another line, bruce mentions, But when I look into your eyes we remain worlds apart. Bruce s constant repetition of the words Worlds apart , enables us as the reader to see precisely how clashing Muslim religion and love can be. Our belief and religion can often change how we act or dress and even change how we associate ourselves with others. Love is a feeling we ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Its name in English derives from the German Pudelhund, or dog that splashes in the water. In France, where the dog quickly rose in prominence to become the national breed, its name was caniche, a play on the word for duck, canard: a duck dog.
