through a forced maximal maneuver at rest allows researchers to compare a baseline value with
tidal loops obtained during exercise (Johnson et al., 1999a). Dominelli and Sheel state that MFVL
provides information on an individual s capability to produce volume and flow with respect to
their mechanical ceilings (2012). Placing the respective tidal loops associated with different
exercise intensities within a resting MFVL shows the difference in volumes during exercise and

When Jeremy and Eliana Bookbinder, two 20 year old twins who worked at Camp Marriot for
the Boy Scouts, heard about an injured hawk on a hiking trail close to where they were working,
they decided to go check it out. Little did they know at the time that by doing so, they would be
fired.
Although it was her day off, Eliana Bookbinder put on her uniform and asked her boss if she
could call the Wildlife Center of Virginia once the bird was found. She was told that he would
have to check with the Goshen superintendent. So Bookbinder headed out on her search for what
she thought at the time was a hawk. But when she finally found the injured bird, she realized it was
actually a bald eagle.
Bookbinder texted her boss a photo and also called him to discuss the eagle. Instead of approval,
she was met with an order to not call the wildlife rehabilitation center, or transport it to a wildlife
veterinarian.

your life experiences and the knowledge you have retained throughout your life. This is when truth
starts to become individualized and varies from person to person.
There is also quite a distinction between a lie and a difference in opinion. When two people
disagree on a subject and argue why they think that they are right, one will often accuse the other
of making something up or lying about certain aspects of the argument. However, when two
onions collide, neither party should accuse the other of being false. Both parties are equally right
and wrong because obviously in the individuals own view of what is real, their opinion is true. But
when observing both opposing parties, they are wrong because their opinions don t agree.

I have struggled with being over weight for a few years now and until now it is still a struggle.
According to my BMI, I am considered obese. Obesity is a big social issue and society may think
of obese people differently. People may assume that obesity stemmed out from not exercising

I read that the car was delivered to Robert B. Massey s garage in Market Weighton, East

Abstract
In order to visualize and conceptualize the affect of the contact angle on impact force, testing of
four different shapes and comparing the results was done. Conclusions were drawn on the affects of
the type of contact surface on the measured impact force. In analyzing these results, it was also be
of interest to calculate the theoretical force using a derivation of equations and comparing them to
the measured data. Doing so may allow for further understanding concerning the possible errors in
calculations or possible mis assumptions being made.

shape had error bars which did not overlap, the data corrections were made to that particular set of

corrected forces. Specific data on these corrections may be found in Tables 7 and 8 in the Appendix.

Conclusions and Recommendations
This experiment effectively showed that the resultant impact force acting on the different target
shapes changed depending on the shape, which is affected by the contact angle. Further analysis of
the data also showed that some beginning assumptions were incorrect, allowing insight on the
reasoning for incorrect data percentages. These were corrected via further derivations in the
