Sync is a web app that hosts virtual small groups globally, connecting young seekers with scripturally-trained mentors through a safe, engaging interface adaptable to future advances. It allows users to learn together through video conferencing, texting, and shared study lessons and resources under a mentor's leadership. The app provides management and content sharing between groups, private journaling, and features lacking in other sites like video chat, file storage, and permission settings for various organizations. Based on progressive web app technology, Sync is user-friendly, optimized for maintenance, and can adapt to technical changes in the future.

1. Description of Sync
A highly versatile web APP that hosts on-demand, virtual small groups for the purpose of
connecting young seekers in the faith with scripturally-trained mentors, globally. Sync offers a
safe, engaging interface for Millennials/Gen. Z and is readily adaptable to technical advances
well into the future.
The originators’ objective is for Sync users to learn together in a “virtual small group environment”,
and share ideas via video conferencing, text messaging, study lessons and other resource
documents under the leadership of a mentor. Already immersed in this current digital world, Sync
users will be able to relate in spontaneous or scheduled ways and help each other understand
the relevancy of Scripture and the Holy Spirit in their daily lives in the 21st
century.
The APP allows for management and oversight by the church or organization as well as the
syndication of content shared between a select group or all groups. It provides a journaling
capability whichallows the participant to share thoughts and observations, if he/she chooses,with
one or all of the group members.
Whereas existing online social sites do not allow small group video chat or face-to-face relating,
no content file storage for discipleship, no screen sharing and no levels of permission settings for
denominations, ministries, congregations or small groups, Sync provides these features.
Sync is based on Progressive Web APP technology, which is user-friendly, optimized for on-
going maintenance, and adaptable to technical advances well into the future.
