Sitting In Chairs And A Little Marching Band
This concert was not like any other I have attended. Two groups known as Sitting
in Chairs and A Little Marching Band were linked together to create the Mucca
Pazza. Before going to see this concert, I expected to see another group of musicians
dressed in tuxedos and dresses while playing classical songs with violins and cellos.
However, I was shocked to see the attire they wore, and I was surprised to hear the
musicthey played. Both groups performed several songs that amounted to an
enjoyable and entertaining show. Because the groups performed a total of twenty
songs, I will go into detail about a few of which I thought were the most engaging
and amusing. Right off the bat I found Octopus Plus One , by Ronnie Kuller,
enjoyable. This song was performed by Sitting in Chairs. The joke one of the
musicians made about how it was music? was what peaked my interest. In the
beginning, the tonality is established right away as being mysterious and suspicious,
with a moderate amount of energy. As the song evolved, the tonality became more
jittery and energetic. In addition, the tempoincreased significantly from Andante at
the beginning to Allegro or even Vivace during the climax. Near the end of the song,
the tonality returned to being suspicious and mysterious, and the tempo slowed back
down to Adante. Concluding the piece was a finale that left the audience feeling
happy and upbeat. Because of the contrasting tonalities and the climax that occurred
in the middle of the work,

When we were first introduced to this assignment, I was both excited and nervous.
I was excited because it gave me the opportunity to step of my comfort zone. I was

My thoughts have stayed the same about homelessness; however, I certainly have
started to acknowledge that homelessness is a very real thing. I also try my hardest

for many people. Additionally, our society often thinks these people choose to be

employees at the gas station said all the people at across the street are drunks and
addicts. She talked about how upset she gets when people have these misconceptions
about people that are struggling with homelessness. Hearing her talk about this broke
my heart because our society should not shame people for being homeless; instead,
we should be looking at solutions to end homelessness. It is a human right to have
basic human needs, yet our society continually provokes their unjust agenda.
Our society also tends to ignore domestic violence, which is something that my

Arthur S. Eddington was an English astronomer, born on Dec. 28, 1882, at
Kendal, United Kingdom. His father Arthur Henry Eddington was a school
teacher, died when Eddington was just two years old. His family had to move to
Weston, where he was raised. From 1893 to 1898, Arthur Eddington had attended
Brynmelyn School, where Eddington quickly distinguished himself, mainly in
mathematics and English literature. As a child Eddington was very intelligent, and

The circulatory system is an important organ system that circulates blood throughout
the body in an effort to transport nutrients and maintain homeostasis. In mammals, the
heart is a vital part of the circulatory system that pumps blood through blood vessels
around the body. Blood circulation through the heartbegins with deoxygenated blood
entering the right atrium at low pressure from the body. The deoxygenated blood
is then pumped to the right ventricle through the atrioventricular valve. From there,
the blood is pumped out of the right ventricle at high pressure to the lungs through
the semilunar valve. In the lungs, gas exchange occurs where carbon dioxide is
released to the alveoli and oxygen is absorbed by the blood. The oxygenated blood
then leaves the lungs, enters the left atrium at low pressure, and is pumped to the
left ventricle where it is pumped back out to the rest of the body at high pressure.
Blood flow in the circulatory system is very important and is assessed by
examining blood pressure. Blood pressure is the force of the blood pushing
against the walls of the arteries every time the heart pumps blood. There are two
types of blood pressure: systolic and diastolic. As the heart beats, blood forced
through the arteries cause a rise in pressure, called systolic pressure (Department of

With each passing day of our lives we are faced with the realization that this world
is ever shrinking. We encounter new neighbors from other countries, colleagues
who speak more than one language, and friends of our children come from various
