vast universe that go about our repetitive lives for no apparent reason. At the end of the day, it
makes no difference how much good or bad we do in the world. This is the ignorant view of the
world that fails to see the perfect harmony in which we all live our lives. The redundant cycles
that we try so hard to get away from are part of our overarching connectedness as humans. As
parts of a whole, all of us have a role to play in making our lives better for ourselves and others.
Our role is the very meaning of life, and we should embrace it wholeheartedly. The novel Siddhartha
by Hermann Hesse stresses this cyclical unification through various circular constructions
throughout Siddhartha s life. Siddhartha had to deal with many individual stages of his life that
seemed pointless. These cycles almost drove him to the point of suicide, but he was saved by the

In the novel, Fathers and Sons , the character Bazarov is known to be a self confident, and
intelligent doctor who s known to leave a few great impressions behind when interacting with his

as he may seem, I do not believe that the story intends Bazarov to be the protagonist, but rather the

The strain theory explains the criminal behavior and is a breakdown of why people commit
crimes. The theory was developed by an American Sociologist Robert K. Merton (1910 2003).
Merton believed that the society influences deviance and plays a huge role in criminals committing
crimes. Emile Durkheim (1858 1957) presented the earliest version of the strain theory. He believed
that well built societies set restrictions on individual goals, meaning that the person was given a
chance to achieve their goals. Durkheim theory centers on the pursuit of limitless goals, whereas
Merton theory targets the lower economic individuals who are incapable of achieving more limited
economic goals.
Robert K. Merton was a prominent social scientist. He was born into working class family and

Many of Collier s short stories deal with human wickedness. He exposes both his male and female
characters as being greedy, selfish, dishonest, immoral, and sadistic. In fact, it might be said that
Collier s dominant theme was human depravity. His misanthropy and pessimism would have

Reading and Thoughts In the essay Reading and Thought , Dwight MacDonlad talked about the
kind of poor reading people are attached to in modern society. MacDonald believed reading
materials such as Times and New York Times are too overwhelming for the readers. Readers tend
to skim through the reading materials because most of the reading do not have any connections
with their daily lives. Moreover, MacDoanld claimed that the readings people do these days are

Family And Heroin Analysis
When it comes to this topic I am not that knowledgeable on heroin. My family and I haven t went
through something significant like using heroin or any kind of drugs like that. What I do know
this reminds me of when last semester we had a panel on Heroin at our University in the MPR

promote improvements in care (Benjamin, 2008).
What is a clinical audit?
A clinical audit is a quality improvement process which aims to improve care through a systematic
review of practice against evidenced based criteria, followed by the implementation of change
(Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership, 2011). There are many different audit cycles to
choose from which could be confusing for practitioners (Dixon Pearce, 2011). The audit cycle

The hippie subculture was originally a youth movement beginning in the United States around the
early 1960s and consisted of a group of people who opposed political and social orthodoxy,
