fights. Some might believe that animals were used to make the fights more

animals went extinct in the colosseum. The animals killed a lot of people at the

Imagine from the moment you are born you are taken away from your mother,

Color in this piece is used in a warming way. It is considered local because when we
think of fall we think of leaves on the ground and in all of these color variations.
What this work is really showing is somewhat of a healing aspiration since each
leaf is sewn on with a fallen soldiers name from Iraq. As noted in the book, there is
no actual brown leaves, but the vast warm color spectrum makes it appear that
there are in fact brow leaves. Without color this would not be as effective. The

The Anacostia river, a sanctuary for hundreds of plants and animals. One evening
when I was cruising down this very river, I spotted a Bald Eagle. The first one I
have ever seen in the wild. I was captivated by its grace, only to remember that it is
an endangered animal. The problem that the Bald eagle has, as well as many of the
others who live off the river is the river itself. The river is murky, and is contaminated
with toxins from fertilizers, pesticides and other harmful substances. There is also
unwanted ubiquitous pollutants that animals are sure to mistake for food, and the
wetlands that surround the river were also damaged. Restoring the Anacostia River is
problem that can be solved.
It all started when I worked with the Anacostia Watershed Society over the summer.

know that Fielding is supposed to be a logical person. A logical person would see
that this is completely acceptable to educate young Indian boys. However, instead,
Fielding goes against his normal behavior and uses the emotional blackmail on
Aziz, his friend, to ensure this British woman is safe. Using Mrs. Moore s ghost,
he says nothing that he believed to be untrue, but producing something that was
probably far from the truth. (262) This is not the first time he has used the ghost of
Mrs. Moore to be cruel to his friend. During Aziz s celebration, Fielding blurted out
