In September 1860 the birth of the Periodic table began. A group of the world s best chemists
assembled in Germany to discuss the issues of atomic mass. At this meeting an Italian chemist,
Stanislao Cannizzaro, introduced the right way to accurately measure the relative mass of an atom.
After the new method was introduced chemists started to recognize similarities in the properties of
various elements and placed them into families. In this earlier stages of the periodic table there were
four main chemists; Dobereiner, Newlands, Lothar Meyer, and Dmitri Mendeleev that played a
substantial role in the development of the periodic table. Dobereiner started with a few family groups
each containing three elements. Newlands put the elements of those families in repeating groups
called octaves. Meyer noted additional repeating properties. Mendeleev put it all together into what
has become the periodic table of the elements. The German chemist, named Dobereiner, in 1829 noted
some of the first elemental similarities. His observations began with bromine, which had just been
discovered. He noticed that the properties of bromine were similar to chlorine and iodine. Not only
were they related but also various properties of bromine, including the atomic weight, fell midway
between the properties of chlorine and iodine, but also there was a pattern within the group of

Food Log Report From Diet Plus
In my food log, I tracked my food and liquid consumption for five days in a row. I thought this was
interesting process, but I kinda of liked it. At some points of the process I thought it was kinda of
difficult to remember to log the food I ate on the computer. But, ultimately I thought it was worth it
because I got to see all the macro and micro nutrients I consumed which is something I don t always
get to see.
I would saw that my consumption of kcals were around the same range. Out of the five days I tracked
my intake, I ranged around 1,000 kcals a day. I guess you could say that I don t really a good variety
of foods in my diet, so I would definitely change that by adding more fruits and vegetables. I also
would make the change of eating a little bit more food, because I think only 1,000 kcals a day is a
little less. I think I will try to bum it up to 1,500 or 1533 which is my recommended DRI.
Looking at the combination report, it was in all the appropriate ranges from the AMDR range. I

The use of irony in the novel also contributes to its postmodernism. Many postmodernists treat serious

different types of irony to offer critics of society and to display how society should not fear dark and

The smooth muscles of the eye are mainly controlled by the parasympathetic nervous system. The
activation of the parasympathetic system will cause the release of acetylcholine (Ach), which will act
on the m2 muscarinic receptors in the iris smooth muscle fibres. This will cause the pupil to constrict,
reducing the amount of light able to enter the eye. The release of Ach will also act on the m2
muscarinic receptors in the ciliary muscle, causing them to contract, relaxing the shape of the lens in
the eye (Rang and Dale, 2012). Therefore, the overall effect of the release of Ach will constrict the

Anderson Quillan Syndrome (AMS) is a rare disease with a prevalence rate of 300/100,000 as
determined by a recent ecological study. There is speculation that AMS is a consequence of certain
exposures, namely increased tea or chocolate consumption and smoking. There is a possible genetic
link, but not all AMS patients exhibit this genetic risk. A case control study (CCS) is proposed in
which AMS cases are compared to two control groups. Control group C1 are living genetically related
family members of AMS patients and control group C2 is a more diverse cohort of non AMS subjects
