St. Francis Of Assisi
St. Francis of Assisi
St. Francis of Assisi abandoned a life of luxury for a life devoted to Christianity after reportedly
hearing the voice of God, who commanded him to rebuild the Christian church and live in
poverty. He is the patron saint for ecologists. St. Francis was also the first person to receive the
stigmata of Christ, the marks resembling the wounds of Jesus Christ suffered when he was
crucified. After living a life devoted to God, Francis was canonized as a Saint just two years after
his death on July 16, 1228, by his former protector, Pope Gregory IX.
St. Francis father was Pietro Bernardone, a wealthy Assisian cloth merchant. His mother, Pica,
little is known, but she is said to have belonged to a noble family of Provence. Francis was born
in Assisi, a town in Italy in 1181 or 1182 the exact year is uncertain. Giovanni was the name given
to Francis on his baptism but was later altered to Francesco, through fondness it would seem for
France. In any case, since the child was renamed in infancy, the change can hardly have had
anything to do with his aptitude for learning French, as some have thought.
St. Francis of Assisi was renowned for drinking and partying in his youth. He began his life as a
confirmed sinner. He was spoiled, indulging himself with fine food, wine, and wild celebrations.
Francis had left school at the age of 14 and became a rebellious teenager who was frequently drank,
partied and broke the city curfew. He was also known for his charm

Guantanamo Bay Is Not Cool
Guantanamo Bay is Not Cool
America is better off if Guantanamo Bay was shut down.
The Politics of GuantГЎnamo. The Economist. The Economist Newspaper, 18 Oct. 2014. Web.
Nov. 2015.1 President Obama called for Guantanamo Bay to be shut down back in 2009. It is
now 2015 and Guantanamo Bay is still open and still holding many types of prisoners.
Guantanamo Bay mainly holds suspected terrorists, but also holds other types of prisoners.
Prisoners being held captive have been imprisoned and have yet to have a trial. In other words,
some are just being held captive under suspicion. Would America be better off if Guantanamo Bay
was closed and those who have been imprisoned either transferred to another prison or essentially
freed?
Guantanamo Bay opened for its main purpose in late 2001 shortly after the United States went to
Afghanistan after the September 11 attacks2. Since 2001, Guantanamo Bay has held around 800
people. 2002 was when the first suspected terrorist was imprisoned and since then the numbers
have been slowly decreasing. Slowly prisoners have been found innocent or have had lack of
evidence to prove that they are guilty, but are still being held captive.3 There are a few reasons as
to why those who have been cleared to be transferred or released but have not been.
One reason is that those who have been in Guantanamo Bay for years have no place to go. They
have been held captive for so long that their home country do not want them back. Another reason is

The Role Of Alexander Kerensky In The February Revolution...
The year 1917 was a historic year in Russian history. It saw two revolutions, in February and in
October. The February Revolution resulted in the abdication of Tsar Nicholas II and the
suppression of the Romanov monarchy. In October, the Bolshevik Party took over the reins of
government in the October Revolution, establishing the world s first socialist state. There has been
an intense debate regarding the role of key individuals Alexander Kerensky and Vladimir Leninin
the events of 1917, and the role of other factors, such as the economy, the First World War and
public opinion. I believe that Kerensky was more significant in this year because of his failures
and his mistakes. It could be argued that Kerensky acted as a catalyst towards... Show more content

His response was to arrest the leading Bolsheviks, however some went into exile just as Lenin did
as he escaped to Finland. In further retaliation, Kerensky appointed General Kornilov as head of the
army with the task of suppressing the left. Kornilov decided that it was time to deal with the
revolutionaries and to establish a strong government in Russia. Also Kornilov wanted the Tsar back
in power which contradicted what Kerensky wanted. Therefore it leads me to believe that this
was poor judgement by Kerensky and it shows how he was indirectly linked to him. Kornilov
ordered the Cossacks to march on Petrograd. Kerensky panicked and asked the Bolsheviks for
help. The Bolsheviks agreed and so Kerensky armed the Bolshevik red guards with rifles.
However, Kornilov s troops never arrived in Petrograd as the railway workers stopped the trains
so the Cossacks couldn t get to Petrograd. It is quite impossible for me to betray Russia into the
hands of her ancient enemy, the German race, and to turn the Russian people into German slaves.
Here, Kornilov described Russia s contribution in worldWar I as anobligation to prevent the
Russian people from being confined by Germany. Although the Cossacks couldn t get to Petrograd,
the red guards kept the rifles which were given to them by Kerensky and they would later be used
in the October revolution. Consequently, it is clear that Kerensky had a key role in 1917, holding
important government positions and ultimately losing the support of both the left and the right,
allowing the Bolsheviks to take power. Not only was Kerensky s lack of knowledge of the
ideologies Kornilov had his failure, but also the fact that he armed the opposition. From the point
Kerensky armed the red guards it was inevitable that a different leader would emerge, either

The Theory Of Public Relations
Introduction
Scholars all around the world are debating about the question, what public relations is. The term
itself provides a really broad definition. It suggests that public relations is about relationships
between the public and someone else. The question that follows is what kind of relationship and
with whom. Since it is about relationship and relationships are influenced and defined by many
different factors, such as culture, politics, religion and economics, it is not surprising that there
have been a wide range of public relations definitions, theories and practices.
The Institute of Public Relations (IPR), an association for public relations practitioners established
in 1948, tried to define the term public relations in 1987 tried as the planned and sustained effort to
establish and maintain goodwill and understanding between an organisation and its public (The

Today the PRSA writes:
At its core, public relations is about influencing, engaging and building a relationship with key
stakeholders across a myriad of platforms in order to shape and frame the public perception of an
organization. (Public Relations Society of America, 2017).
The PRSA has similar to the IPR ignored the mutuality aspect from Harlow. The IPR and PRSA
definition from 1987 and today are similar in the managing aspect, in the sense of the planned and
sustained effort .
The different definitions provided so far show the complexity and difficulty of the term. Everyone
seems to believe that public relations is something similar and still different.
The changing emphasizes shown above and throughout history illustrate that public relations is an
evolving profession and term, which is being influenced by different factors around the

The Distribution and Constituents of Fluids in the Human Body
The distribution and constituents of fluids in the human body
P3: Describe the distribution and constituents of body fluids
M2: Explain functions of the constituents of body fluids
Our bodies are on average about 60% water, water is so important and we cannot live without it as
it; regulates our body temperature, moves nutrients through cells, keeps our mucous membranes
moist and flushes waste out of our bodies. In this assignment I am going to be describing the
distribution and constituents of the body fluids and explain the functions of the constituents of the
body fluids. This assignment is mainly about the importance of water and its role within the body
and all of its distinctive properties.
In this assignment I am going to be discussing the distribution and constituents of fluids within the
body. In the first part of the assignment I am going to be describing the distribution and constituents
of body fluids. This will include the distribution of water within the body, the constituents of
various intracellular and extracellular body fluids and I will also include examples. I am then going
to give examples of the solutes and what they contain.
I am then going to give an explanation of water within the body, the location and the function of
five electrolytes that are found within the body and the importance of maintaining this balance. I
am finally going to include how the three buffer systems help to control the pH within the body.

Bernarda Alba
This can be seen in Lorca s play The House of Bernarda Alba. As stated, being gay in a country of
expected male masculinity, it was difficult for Lorca to conform to society. Even in the home, his
father and siblings did not get along well with him, and even after his death attempted to destroyed
any evidence that could insinuate his homosexuality. Those who were in his social class despised
him for being queer and having so much talent, leaving him with little friends. Because of this,
amorous frustration, fertility, and loneliness are common themes among his plays. Lorca utilizes
women, mainly, as his protagonists to execute such themes, who find they are in a position where
true loveor dreams are unclaimable. In The House of Bernarda

The African American community has experienced many triumphs and tribulations throughout its
history. Jackie Robinson is an iconic and inspirational figure within this community. I admire him
because his successful life has allowed me to have the confidence to overcome adversity in the
classroom and on the tennis court because of my race.
With tennis not being as popular as other sports in the African Americanculture, participating in
this for all four years in high school has been a tough road. Often finding myself as the only
minority participating in a tournament, it can be very uncomfortable when others observe you. In
some very unfortunate circumstances, I ve even heard the occasional racial slur. This never bothers

Values Of Anglo Saxon Values
Anglo Saxon Values that still hold true Today. What are values? Values are things which are
important to one, and will determine one s priorities. During the Anglo Saxon era, there were
values which remain the same till this day. Loyalty and courage play a big roll in today s values,
as much as it did during the Anglo Saxon time. One of the Anglo Saxon values still holding true
today will have to be loyalty. One might wonder, what exactly is loyalty? Loyalty is being faithful
to something or someone, or in shorter words, always sticking to a person or thing no matter what
the situation is. Beowulfshows his loyalty when he states he will not shift a foot (2524) because
he cannot break his word. Wiglaf understands this loyalty to one s reputation and how it is linked to
being a warrior. (2890 1) A warrior will sooner die than live a life of shame Beowulf hands Wiglaf
his collar of gold, his war shirt, and his helmet and tells him to use them well showing an act of
loyalty. Is the public loyal? Do the peopleshow loyalty? If the people think about it, the public can
all relate to Beowulf. Every person must have a person or a thing who they are loyal to. It doesn t
even have to be between people, one can be loyal to what they put their self into, maybe school or
work. If a person gives all his loyalty to their career or job then it will all pay off. For example, in
the Dream of the Rood, (123 124) I prayed to that tree with ardent zeal, where I was alone with few

The Impossibility Of Moral Responsibility
Moral responsibility is a concept that has, in some way, existed in every culture and civilization
that recorded history can tell us about. From the Law of Hammurabi to beliefs in judgmental gods
mankind has always assumed some form of moral responsibility whether metaphysical or within a
society. While pragmatic considerations of moral responsibility seem to be necessary for living
within a society, the philosophic concept of moral responsibility beckons many inherent problems
that must be resolved. Galen Strawsonin The Impossibility of Moral Responsibility presents a strong
argumentas to why moral responsibility is impossible, while Susan Wolf responds to the problems
presented, and argues that moral responsibility does exist in some... Show more content on

He shows the argument in the way it exists in a person s life, which allows for more coherent
discussion, and as he later states, new forms of objection (314). One important note to make on
Strawson s argument is his hard determinist stance. He believes that every decision and action of a
person is predetermined by their heredity and early experience. For him, no form of free will
exists. While he does believe that a person is able to examine their behaviors and tendencies, their
ability to self revise is predetermined by heredity and early experience. His determinist stance
allows his argument to be sound and extremely difficult to refute. Another important thing to draw
from the Strawson argument is what is meant by moral responsibility. For Strawson, true moral
responsibility means that one is responsible to the degree that it is sensible to either punish one
with eternal torment in hell, or reward one with enteral bliss in heaven (314). His definition of
moral responsibility is not confined to religious faith in heaven or hell, but rather is used to convey
an absolute nature of accountability. This concept of moral responsibility as Strawson presents is
pivotal in understanding his objection of moral responsibility. Strawson s argument is not against a
legislative or judicial sense of responsibility, and does not take the form of responsibility that a

Critically Appraise A Popular Leadership Theory
Leadership is a concept that is constantly discussed yet there is seldom agreement about what it
is. Even though most agree leadership is crucial to success of any people, project or venture.
People define leadership differently and often times misconstrue leadership with management.
Leadership provides the vision and focuses on the people while management focuses on objectives
and tasks. It is however valid that a budding leader may sometimes need to act as both a leader an
as a manager whenever necessary.
Over the years, in an attempt to define leadership and reach a consensus on what it is, various
leadership theories have ensued. Some leadership theories include; great man, transactional,
situational, style, trait, skill, contingency, transformational, ... Show more content on

If the competent and qualified physician is leader of a public health or healthcare institution
and he is deemed a great leader based on his charisma and ambition, when there is a challenge
such as an outbreak and he is able to proffer solution. He will be respected and trusted more.
However, a demerit to this approach is that it is too simplistic and may prevent contribution from
other qualified members of the system. Hence serving to demotivate them at their work because
they may feel irrelevant. Also, the problem of succession quickly comes to mind, so in the event
of loss or absence of the great leader , there will be a problem with replacing him and the
institution may suffer. This leads to another demerit of the theory. Based on the fact that a leader
had to be born that way, there is no way to teach leadership to another person or improve one s
own level of leadership. More recent theories and occurrence has invalidated this claim.
Much of the great man theory praises characteristics that are majorly associated with natural male
characteristics and used male examples in its explanation. In orders words, women cannot be
leaders. But this has been negated, as there were females who successfully led men to wars in
history. An example is Ashanti (a woman) who led her people to a successful war). In recent years,

Past four years academic study of Architecture in China and America (one year in UNCC) formed
my keen insight and imagination about architecture. Meanwhile, the study of architecture makes
me begin to think how to apply aesthetic elements from arts such as color, lighting and
composition to architecture. Particularly, the study of basic architectural courses, such as
Structural System, Mechanics and Materials Science, makes me realize that architecture not only
attaches importance to aesthetics, but also on the more essential element practicability. Soon
after, I have now reached the point where knowledge from textbooks does not satisfy me
anymore. I believe that architecture is not only a skill but also, more importantly, a combination
of imagination and practicability. So I want to shift my attention to practicability for further
practical study, especially Sustainable Design. Also, I worked in an architectural design institute
as an intern for 15 weeks learning how architecture rise up from ground and how to complete the
construction drawings, which get very highly appraised. However, sometimes, I feel at a loss or
completely confused when asked to carry out a design or other projects, but the voice from the
deepest part of my heart always gave me some enlightenment: You can either travel or read, but
either your body or soul must be on the way. And architecture can be my soul on my way. Finally, I

Pluck And Pick Research Paper
Pluck or Pick
Someday I ll wish upon a star, wake up where the clouds are far behind me. Where trouble melts
like lemon drops, high above the chimney top, that s where you ll find me. . . are the famous
lyrics to Israel Kamakawiwo ole s ukulele song Over The Rainbow . It was also one the first songs I
learned on the ukulele. On my birthday, senior year of high school, I received this small instrument
with just four strings and the most beautiful sound. Of course, I had no clue on how to play it or
where to even begin; whether to learn off YouTube or take lessons, deciding whether to use a pick
or not, and even how to hold it correctly. I want to point out, while these might seem like silly
issues to worry about, they really are important ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I also have indicated one of those individuals already, Brody Shrader, my friend who gave me
lessons. On the first day of lessons he led me to an assortment of picks and recommended that I
should play with and without a pick and then choose the best way that works for me. I did just
that, I had practiced with and without a pick, and then chose what I had preferred. When I
interviewed Brody, I asked him the question, What is your opinion on the debate of whether to
use a pick when playing the ukulele? He looked at me, kind of gave me a smirk and said I
honestly do not know much about this debate but I think it is silly to be argued over, because it
is up to the person themselves. He then begins to explain how there are different tones; with a
pick it will be much louder and amplified sound, while without a pick it will obviously be more
subtle and have a softer sound. He also brings the point up that after hearing the two different
sounds the ukulele can create, the musician can make it what he or she wants and express
themselves in any way they wish. Brody bringing up this point sheds light on the difficult problem
of people not realizing what the bigger issue here is. Yes, many may think that it is not a big deal
to make this decision but really people that are not musicians do not understand that the simple
strum with or without a pick is what brings the sound alive and it adds so much to the music. To
create the music the right way, the musician has to base the decision off of personal

Accrual Accounting And Cash-Flow Accounting Principles
The fundamental accounting principle that firms are compelled to follow when presenting their
performances of a certain period is based on earnings, not realised cash flows. That is, recording a
transaction as it happens regardless of the collection of cash which involved in it (Marshall,
McManus Viele, 2014, p.18). The notions that the use of accrualaccounting in measuring a firm s
performance would provide higher quality and accuracy than cash flow accounting is addressed by
Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) in a statement in 1978. They affirmed the concept

The Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) suggested that firm performance is measured
more accurately by using accrual accounting instead of cash flow accounting. The main reason to
adopt accrual accounting as a standard when reporting earnings is that it measures short term firm
performance better, as it efficiently mitigates timing and matching problem in cash flow accounting.
Another fact that supports accrual accounting is that earnings has proven to be a better indication
of future share returns and share prices. However, the costs of adopting accrual accounting are firm

such as managements manipulate the classifications of the data in their preferences. Also, the
unintentional errors will arise especially in the firm which have long operating cycle and/or the
firms that have huge fluctuations in working capital requirements. The disadvantages will thus
reduce the beneficial role of accrual accounting. The importance of cash flow accounting is that it
helps the public inspect the firm s short term solvency. Also, cash flows accounting prevent the
errors caused by firm management deliberately manipulate over recording accounting data.

The Rhetorical Analysis Of Martin Luther King
Today, in this corner of the Internet dedicated to the Oratory and the techniques of public
speaking, I can not fail to remember that fifty years ago, one of the most famous speeches of the
20th century was celebrated yesterday: the one he delivered fifty years ago yesterday, Marin
Luther King, in Washington, at the foot of the Lincon Memorial, before more than two hundred
thousand black rights defenders in the USA, and remembered by the famous phrase I have a
dream dream). Martin Luther King uses key elements of paraverbal communication for the
execution of a good speech: a powerful voice, a perfect vocalization and articulation, for Which
is well understood everything he says, and a calm, steady, determined rhythm, marking well the
pauses to emphasize the important phrases. He also uses in his speech a few rhetorical devices,
such as the metaphor: ... they had burned in the flames of withered injustice ; Long night of
captivity ; The Negro Lives on a Lonely Island of Poverty, The Quick Sands of Racial Injustice,
and others such as the promissory note of liberty and happiness for all promised by the founders
of the nation and the Which the nation gave to the nation at that time, a rhetorical device that
takes one of the greatest applause of the speech; Let us not wallow in the valley of despair, and
other metaphors that dot the whole discourse giving it a rhetorical literary touch. Another
rhetorical figure is the anaphora: One hundred years later ... , which repeats as the beginning of
several sentences; Now is the time ... , We can not be satisfied until ... , and the famous I have a
dream , which repeats, from the minute 12 20 , Also as an introduction of several substantial

by the special tone and force that gives his words, but by the slight movements of tension in the

Is It Better To Grow Up In A Small Town Essay
Some believe it is better to grow up in a big city. However it is more beneficial to grow up in a
small town. Rural communities have a lot to offer. It offers numerous benefits to living in a bigger
community. For example, they have several job opportunities offered to the residents. There is less
conflict between each other because half of the people don t even know eachother. Therefore,
everyone is minding their business and keeping to themselves. The bigger the community you live
in the more money the cityprobably makes, for example, they offer a better education and provide
more options as what a student wants to pursue in after graduating high school. In my opinion there
are more sights to see when there are more places to experience and explore, therefore stating
why a big city is better to live in. In a more populated area, it expands the opportunities for jobs
in the community when there are more options to choose from. It s difficult to live in a
populated area, but it benefits almost everyone around you trying to make a living as well as
you are. Resulting in a huge reason why families move to bigger towns for job offers or
opportunities. As everyone knows businesses thrive better in cities, because they have more
people needing the opportunity to work for them. If the staff increases, the business will grow as
well. Businesses provide jobs for numerous people to help the company and provide for the

because these skills are important to your career success. Therefore you are expected to follow the
requirements of good business writing and the specific requirements of the course. Failure to
follow these rules (e.g. papers over length, excessive misspellings, incorrect citations, etc.) will
result in papers being downgraded. Likewise follow Boston University s rules on plagiarism and
academic conduct.
Specific requirements * Papers should be organized into paragraphs, written in complete
sentences, and broken into clearly titled sections as per the outline above. Note that generally
shorter rather than longer paragraphs make for better communication, and that it is better to have
too many titled sections than too few. * Use correct spelling and grammar. You should use a spell

The Character Of Belle From Beauty And The Beast
Comparing yourself to a fictional character may not be something that has ran through your mind,
but it does not hurt to try it. A fictional characters may have very similar characteristics to you that
you never realized while watching shows or movies. The three fictional characters that most
represent my personality are Belle from Beauty and the Beast for her caring attitude towards
others, Regina George from Mean Girls for her confidence in her actions, and Minnie Mousefrom
Mickey MouseClub House for her friendliness. Belle is an ordinary girl from a small town who
then becomes a princess in the Disney movie Beauty and the Beast, although we have different
lifestyles, we also have similarities; we both are caring and love our fathers. In the beginning of
the movie, Belle is shown as a very humble girl who lives in a small town with her father. Belle is
always kind to the townspeople even though she seems odd to them. Belles father Maurice is
also different from the rest, he likes to create inventions which makes him odd to the rest of the
townspeople. Despite the rude comments the townspeople make about her father, Belle loves
him unconditionally and cares about him. Belles caring personality separates her from the rest of
the arrogant young girls from her town. Like Belle, I like to care a lot about my father. My father
is the most important person in my life, he is my role model. He may not be the most perfect
father in the world, but to me he is the best I could

Modern Methords of Construction in Supermarkets
methords of 1.0 Client Brief We have been approached by a large supermarket firm to advice on
the suitability of various Modern Methods of Construction systems for the use on a potential
flagship store. The initial brief from the client is that the new store must be sustainable, energy
efficient and carry low maintenance / operation costs. The proposal is to construct a large retail
space of approximately 5,000 m2 for sale of food and household goods. It is intended to be highly
energy efficient and sensitive to the local environment. 2.0 Why Modern Methods of Construction?

Wood is also aseptically pleasing and can provide a more relaxed, warmer environment for
customers. To maximise the full potential of timber construction the use of glued laminated
timber (Glulam) could be used in the design to offer improved strength and increased spans.
Glulam structures offer excellent performance in the case of a fire. It can be calculated to a
0.7mm per min char rate and unlike steel it can retain its strength. (Carpenter Oak and Wood Land,
2011) 4.2 Steel frame We thought that steel frame was an obvious system to analysis and compare
because it s a widely utilised technique within the industry. They can be considered very similar to
timber framed construction in terms of similar working methods. Steel frames are already
commonly used for retail spaces as they can provide the wide open spans required in retail spaces,
quick erecting times during construction and the industry, such as contractors are generally familiar
with its properties. Furthermore another motive for steel is that there are many manufacturers and
suppliers established in the UK that specialise in steel construction and manufacturing. This
provides a competitive market that would help reduce costs and lead times when ordering.
However steel demands lots of energy in during its

2008 brought some problems for MGM. On October 29th of that year, MGM reported a sixty
seven percent plunge in third quarter earnings, due mostly in part to lagging revenues from its
Las Vegas properties. On that same day, MGM decided to halt a five million dollar Atlantic City
project which was to be built on land next to Borgata Hotel and Casino. Shortly after this
announcement, New Jersey gambling regulators were set to deny MGM s suitability to operate
casinos in New Jersey. This was due mainly in part to their partner, Pansy Ho, who New Jersey
regulators believed could not operate independently of her father, Stanley Ho. This forced
MGM to sell their New Jersey property, Borgata Hotel and Casino, which was a highly profitable
piece of business. Finally, at the end of 2008, MGM decided to sell its Las Vegas Treasure Island
property. Around the same time, MGM also introduced Jim Murren as their new CEO. Murren was
behind many of the major acquisitions that helped transform MGM and had been repeatedly
honored as the gaming and lodging industry s top CFO by Institutional Investor magazine. This
promotion came at an important time as MGM had fallen on some hard times. The start of 2009
was no better for MGM. In March, Dubai World and its wholly owned subsidiary Infinity World

Using Parallel Processing For Large Scale Database Analysis
Modern Data Centers always interested in the new technology for various web search analysis,
web log, bigdata analysis, social networking, so in this tasks new technology implemented using
parallel processing for large scale database analysis, so the MapReduce is one of new technology
to get amounts of data, perform massive computation, and extract critical knowledge out of big data
for business intelligence, proper analysis of large scale of datasets, it requires accurate input output
capacity from the large server systems to perform and analyze weblog data which is derived from
two steps called mapping and reducing. Between these two steps, MapReducerequires a on
important phase called shuffling phase which exchange the intermediate data. So at the point of
data shuffling, by physically changing the location(moving) segments of intermediate data across
disks, causes major I/O contention and generate the Input/Output problem such as large power
consumption, high heat generation which accounts for a large portion of the operating cost of data
centers in analyzing such big data. So in this synopsis we introduce the new virtual shuffling
approach to enable well organized data movement and reduce I/O problem for MapReduce
shuffling, thereby reducing power consumption and conserving energy. Virtual shuffling is
achieved through a combination of three techniques including a three level segment table, near
demand merging, and dynamic and balanced merging subtrees. Our

Fahrenheit 451 Quotes Analysis
Fahrenheit 451 Constructed Response In Fahrenheit 451, by Ray Bradbury, the Old Woman,
Faber, and the Hobos all were characters who influenced Guy Montag to develop the theme of
books possessing power. To begin, in the story, the Old Woman clearly expresses her yearning
and captivation, which guided Montag to comprehend the competence and truth behind books.
For example, the Old Woman was found having books and her house became a victim of the
firemen s occupation. A quote from herself in the text, You can t ever have my books, she said
[Bradbury 39], shows her persistence and tenaciousness for protecting her books from harm s way.
To clarify, this Old Woman insisted on staying with her books and dying, even though Montag
tried forcing her to leave. This impactful sacrifice of hers revealed to Montag that a virtuous,
introvert like her still would die to... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
As a result, the inspiring, gallant actions of the Old Woman, advanced the theme of books
possessing power to Montag. Secondly, in the passage, Faber explicitly states that books contain
an abundance of universal knowledge and overall powers. For instance, Montag visits Faber to
communicate about the actual veracity about books. A quote in the text from Faber, himself, The
magic is only in what the books say, how they stitched the patches of the universe together into
one garment for us [86]. This quote from Faber reveals that it s not the physical copies of the
books themselves, but more so, what they convey in the articles of the book. In other words, Faber
teaches Montag that books, in a way, are the realms and foundations of the outside world.
Additionally, he somewhat says that books are the only information in the society about the outside
world. Thus, the wise, knowledgeable, and rational conduct of Faber, reinforces the evolving of
Montag s lesson of books possessing power. Last, but most certainly not least, Granger and the
other Hobos portray to Montag that

What to Do After Graduation in Major in Success by Patrick...
There is a majority of university students worldwide who have something in common: they have
no idea what they will do after they graduate. Some students may have several ideas came out,
but they never make them come true. There are plenty of people who have difficulty to know
what they are passionate in, and even they can do but most never have the extraordinary drive
necessary to go for their dreams. At this difficult time, there is a book walked to me, Major in
Success written by Patrick Combs, which is a book that is to help people find their true dream
job and become successful, and also it helped me find the true purpose of studying in university.
This book pointed out that doing what you enjoy propels you to success . It means doing what
you enjoy is the core to find your dream job. If one has a job that pays well but he never get
happiness from it, and instead of fears, tears and no cheers. He also brings their fears from work
to their lives and families and makes these people who are outside of his job feel sad and then,
that will destroy a big and happy environment. This book tells people how to make their dreams
come true. People who follow their dreams are the meaning of living in the world and the way to
get happiness. And everyone has this ability to achieve this goal; what they need to do is only to
possess extraordinary drive. From the book, the author says repeatedly that when people get
graduated, no one cares about your GPA. Patrick Combs said that

We describe mapping of histology and MRI based data of the common squirrel monkey and
construction of a viewing tool that enable online viewing of these datasets. The previously
descried atlas MRI is used for its deformation to provide accurate conformation to the MRI, thus
adding information at the histological level to the MRI volume. This paper presents the
mapping of single 2D image slice in block face as a proof of concept and this can be extended to
map the atlas space in 3D coordinate system as part of the future work and can be loaded to an
XNAT system for further use.
Keywords: primate neuroanatomy, atlas, magnetic resonance imaging, diffusion tensor imaging
1.INTRODUCTION
Atlases provide a central coordinate system in which to merge information from different imaging
modalities, across time within a single subject, between subjects, and among studies. Digital atlases
have come into common use from brain mapping with 3 D imaging techniques, e.g., magnetic
resonance imaging (MRI). Integration of histology images with typical multi modal MRI atlases
(e.g., for the squirrel monkey [1]) is greatly complicated by the fact that histological sections are, by
their nature, extraordinarily isotopic. Any out of plane rotation/resampling would result substantive
partial volume artifacts.
During the sectioning process, it is commonly possible to acquire photographic images of the block

Rovs Are Valuable For Underwater Exploration
Millions of dollars on the bottom of the ocean are waiting to be found. ROVs, remotely operated

The first reason ROVs are valuable is scientific research. Some people argue that the scientific

Vanadyl Sulfate Lab Report
The experimental started out with the synthesis of VIVO(acac)2. The vanadyl sulfate was
dissolve in distilled water and mixed with acetylacetone, which gave a dark blue solution. From
the reaction, sulfate anion was present in the solution, which could react with water in the
solution to make the acid, hydrogen sulfate. Therefore, the acid had to be neutralized with sodium
bicarbonate. Upon adding sodium bicarbonate, the reaction bubbled releasing CO2 gas and the
solution slightly increased to a lighter blue color. Upon completion of the reaction, the greenish
blue precipitate was vacuum filtered and weighed. A mass of 0.4194g of VIVO(acac)2 with a
percent yield of 24.8%. The percent yield was low, but that was most likely due to not allowing...

A third sample of zinc acetate dihydrate was used for benchtop magnetic susceptibility. By using
the data from Table 1, the experimental magnet moment (Вµeff) was calculation using the
equations in Appendix A. In the order of zinc acetate dihydrate, VIVO(acac)2 and FeIII(acac)3,
the respective magnet moments were determined to be 2.96, 1.20 and 4.73. The data agrees with
what would be expected looking at the electronic states of the metal atoms. Vanadium is in the D5
group of the period table so it is had five unpaired electrons in the D orbital. Since experimentally
V(IV) is produced, that means vanadium has a positive four oxidation state reducing its unpaired
electrons in the D orbital to one. For iron, it is in the D8 group and has a positive three oxidation
state so it has a total of five unpaired electrons in its D orbital. Zinc is in the D10 group and is in the
ground state, where all its electrons are paired. Since the magnetic susceptibility is measuring the
number of unpaired electrons reacting with a magnetic field, the results demonstrate that by an
increase in magnetic moments with the increase in the number of unpaired electrons. The only
discrepancy with the data is that the two water molecules in the zinc acetate dihydrate wasn t
accounted for in determining magnetic susceptibility. The magnetic moment of zinc acetate
dihydrate was higher than

World War I and the Progressive Movement
World War I and the progressive movement
Through the course of American history, many great wars and battles have been fought but none
have left a greater impact than World War I. World war I was known as the Great War, although
America s initial plan of action was to bring global peace. The tables unfortunately turned on them.
The treaty of Versailleswhich was meant to be a conclusion to the madness, lead to an even
greater bloodshed. The Great War span from 1914 1919, within this period of time around 10
million died and 20 million were injured worldwide. The progressive era took place during 1890
1920. The progressive era was a constitutional movement led by a group of citizens that believed
that their struggles such as poverty, and violence would get resolved by the government and by
education. The constitutional movement wanted the Americans to take a moment and deeply
perceive the meaning of democracy. Industries and America were pro business and practiced private
parties. The company became inveigle by industry and political machines and lessened the public
influence; capitalism became the higher power, rather than the public being in control, which made
a negative effect on society. During the progressive movement the African American communities
were still living as the run down of society. They were being accountable to unfair treatments that
included executions, segregation from public spaces, not allowed to take part in any

Impact of Great Depression on International Relations in the 1930s In the early 1920s the Great
Depression hit. The chaos caused by the First World War was the main reason for the Great
Depression. The USA had lent large amounts of money to other countries to help with their
damages from the war. The loans that the USA made helped the countries to recover trade. Many
countries tried to protect their industries by putting taxes on imports. In 1930 USA the biggest

Comparing Bradstreet, Edward Taylor, And Jonathan Edwards
Puritans believed in hard work and pleasing God. Therefore in this essay I will be comparing and
contrasting three Puritan writings that were written by Anne Bradstreet, Edward Taylor, and
Jonathan Edwards. Their writings express perspectives of Puritan beliefs, however the differences
in the writings show the variations between the purpose of their writings, the language, and the
tone. In this essay I will first look at Bradstreet s poem, second I ll review Taylor s poem, third I
will analyze Edward s sermon, and finally I will state the similarities between the three.
Bradstreet wrote her poems for the sole purpose to pass time, and she had no intention to have
them published. Her poems also differ from the other two author s writings because her poems
were stolen and published by her brother in law without her consent. Her writing style is different
form the other two because she uses an inversed writing style. For example instead of saying I was

He wrote the sermon as part of the Great Awakening to scare people to come back to the Church
and Religion. His writing style and language was different in the fact that he used repetition to
emphasize things like sinners who are in the hand of an angry God and the burning for eternity
in the fiery pits of Hell. The sermon contained a lot more dark and menacing language, for
instance he used words like, wrath, Hell, fire, and misery. Edwards s sermon had a tone that was
intimidating but in the last little paragraph he gave people a little bit of hope that they could still
be saved from the fiery pits of Hell. The sermon provided insight of the Great Awakening that was
happening at that time period. It showed one of the tactics to draw people back to the church and
away from science. Finally, I will compare the similarities of all three

Evaluation Of A Theory Of Supervision
Theory of Supervision
Melany Zwilling
Eastern Illinois University Theory of Supervision Supervision is designed to facilitate growth and
learning among supervisees and supervisors through specified theoretical framework and
characteristics (Bernard Goodyear, 2014). A theory of supervision incorporates multiple techniques,
focus areas, and evaluation assessment tools to integrate developmental advancement among
practitioners (Tadlock Marlo, 2015). Addressing supervisory roles, incorporating multiculturalism,
and taking into account developmental levels among clinicians are factors imperative to form a
theory of supervision to form a clinical baseline in supervision (Tadlock Marlo, 2015). An analysis
of clinical supervision, specifically tailored to Bernard and Goodyear s discrimination model, will
reveal multiple foci and supervisory roles with alterations to fit desired counseling personhood.
Additionally, multiculturalism, supervisory relationships, and developmental stages will include

Introduction
The need for cheap and efficient means of travel coupled with the development of motor vehicles
has seen a rapid growth in the automotive industry. The automotive industry encompasses all the
companies and activities involved in the manufacture of motor vehicles, including most
components, such as engines and bodies (Encyclopædia Britannica, 2014). Even though much of
the manufacturing nowadays is done by robots, computers and machines, the strongest and most
luxurious vehicles are still considered to be the ones that have had the most human involvement
and effort applied on them. This makes simple tools such as the cordless hand drill necessitous in
the entire process because of their wide range of uses and applications which will be further
discussed in this report. Hand drills today, are used in almost every industry that involves
assembling individual components to make a complete structure however, this report will focus on
the design of a cordless hand drill specifically for the automotive industry.

Nevertheless another unarmed man was killed, this time with his hands in the air. This particular

known for its non traditional approach to client problems as it does not explore clients issues in
relation to their cause and affect but rather the goals and solutions to achieving a future free of
any present issues. i will be discussing the evident concepts, principles and intervention

Thus, it is evident that solution focused therapy is focused on the future wellbeing and hopes of the
client rather than their past or present situation. The counsellor client work alliance (Burwell Chen,
2006) is essential for a productive and active client as it ensures motivation and empowerment
through the collaborative identification of strengths, progress and development in relation to
achieving their preferred future and to identify strengths to accomplish this outcome, also known as
co constructing solutions (O Connelle 2005) There are a number of techniques and core concepts
utilised to establish the desired future of the client, such as the miracle question, scaling question
and an exception question. These techniques are used to encourage new patterns of thinking and
establishing solutions to construct the preferred future of the client (AIPC, 2010). The miracle
question aims to encourage clients to visualise how their life would be and feel once change is
made to solve the current problem and no longer negatively impacts upon their lives. This is
achieved through asking a question that allows clients to fantasise about a life free of the problem.

However, in pharmaceutical industry product differentiation is not possible since India has
followed process patents till date, with laws favoring imitators.
Consequently, product differentiation is not the driver, cost competitiveness is. However,
companies like Pfizer and Glaxo have created big brands in over the years, which act as product
differentiation tools. This will enhance over the long term, as product patents come into play from
2005.
Bargaining Power of Buyers
The unique feature of pharmaceutical industry is that the end user of the product is different from
the influencer (read doctor). The consumer has no choice but to buy what doctor says. However,
when we look at the buyer s power, we look at the influence they have on the prices of the product.
In pharma industry, the buyers are scattered and they as such does not wield much power in the
pricing of the products. However, government with its policies plays an important role in regulating
pricing through the NPPA (National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority).

Supreme Court Case Simulation
On June 26th, 2013, a Supreme Court case occurred dealing with a same sex couple, Mrs. Edith
Windsor and Thea Spyer. It was until they both got married in Ontario, Canada in 2007 and
returned to the U.S to a home they had in New York City. Later in their years, Thea had passed
away in 2009. Thea left the home estate to Windsor. The estate tax exemption was freely opened to
Windsor to claim from the surviving spouses. Although, Windsor was not entitled to the estate tax
discharge, because by federal law, was sought as the Defense of MarriageAct, bypasses the
definition of a same sex partner and spouse . Even after hearing that, Windsor paid her taxes for it,

The argument was toward the challenge of the Defense of Marriage Act, which was an issue
between the states Federal sales tax. The argument throughout the representatives, in a sense, was
questionable and logical. During the argument, Paul Clement, an Attorney for Bipartisan, and
Justice Sotomayor, a Supreme Court of Justice Lawyer, were fighting to what local states define
same sex marriage and how the federal laws pertaining to the taxes define whom the client of a
spouse should pay the sales property taxes. It was until more of the representatives and lawyers to
comment into this argument about this situation.
The executive branch agreed upon the DOMA being unconstitutional about how they took this
situation of same sex partnership spouses. Although the Court has considered whether it has
jurisdiction to hear the case, it is important to certify the federal laws to other states on same sex
spouses as the constitutional decisions of the citizens of the United States have, relating to our civil

Compare And Contrast My Childhood
Compare and contrast
When did playing outside and chasing ice cream trucks turn into playing on iPads and
disconnecting from family a part of childhood? As a kid, my afternoons were spent outside with
my older brother. We used to make up games to play and steal some money out of my dad s car
as we anticipated the arrival of the ice cream truck. I ve had a simple childhood, with minimum
technology, and no well developed games at all. All I ve had was a sandy pit and a worn out goal
net. To me though, it wasn t just a worn out goal net, it was many different places and where a lot
of my childhood adventures took place.
My sister did not get the opportunity to bond with any of our brothers. By the time she was born,
technology was already very well developed and was already a big part of my family s everyday
life. The first personal mobile phone I ve had was when I was 14, and it was a used phone as well,
that was passed down to me from my mother. Kids nowadays already have their own phone by 5
years old. Mostly all the kids in my family ages ranging from 4 8 all have either their own mobile
or their own Ipad. That not only leads to a wasted childhood on all the techno games but also on
no bond between the kids. As a kid, I ve anticipated going to any family gathering because of all
the fun games we ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
My sister is glued to her IPad for the whole day; from the time she comes back from school till
the moment before she shuts her eyes to go to bed. She has her iPad in front of her and her
headphones on even during lunch and dinner. She wastes her day away either watching Minecraft
videos on YouTubeor playing Minecraft. Whilst I spent day and night on an old net goal that I used
as a pirate ship and a roller coaster, my sister makes her own roller coasters all

  • 3. St. Francis Of Assisi St. Francis of Assisi St. Francis of Assisi abandoned a life of luxury for a life devoted to Christianity after reportedly hearing the voice of God, who commanded him to rebuild the Christian church and live in poverty. He is the patron saint for ecologists. St. Francis was also the first person to receive the stigmata of Christ, the marks resembling the wounds of Jesus Christ suffered when he was crucified. After living a life devoted to God, Francis was canonized as a Saint just two years after his death on July 16, 1228, by his former protector, Pope Gregory IX. St. Francis father was Pietro Bernardone, a wealthy Assisian cloth merchant. His mother, Pica, little is known, but she is said to have belonged to a noble family of Provence. Francis was born in Assisi, a town in Italy in 1181 or 1182 the exact year is uncertain. Giovanni was the name given to Francis on his baptism but was later altered to Francesco, through fondness it would seem for France. In any case, since the child was renamed in infancy, the change can hardly have had anything to do with his aptitude for learning French, as some have thought. St. Francis of Assisi was renowned for drinking and partying in his youth. He began his life as a confirmed sinner. He was spoiled, indulging himself with fine food, wine, and wild celebrations. Francis had left school at the age of 14 and became a rebellious teenager who was frequently drank, partied and broke the city curfew. He was also known for his charm ... Web. Nov. 2015.1 President Obama called for Guantanamo Bay to be shut down back in 2009. It is now 2015 and Guantanamo Bay is still open and still holding many types of prisoners. Guantanamo Bay mainly holds suspected terrorists, but also holds other types of prisoners. Prisoners being held captive have been imprisoned and have yet to have a trial. In other words, some are just being held captive under suspicion. Would America be better off if Guantanamo Bay was closed and those who have been imprisoned either transferred to another prison or essentially freed? Guantanamo Bay opened for its main purpose in late 2001 shortly after the United States went to Afghanistan after the September 11 attacks2. Since 2001, Guantanamo Bay has held around 800 people. 2002 was when the first suspected terrorist was imprisoned and since then the numbers have been slowly decreasing. Slowly prisoners have been found innocent or have had lack of evidence to prove that they are guilty, but are still being held captive.3 There are a few reasons as to why those who have been cleared to be transferred or released but have not been. One reason is that those who have been in Guantanamo Bay for years have no place to go. They have been held captive for so long that their home country do not want them back. The February Revolution resulted in the abdication of Tsar Nicholas II and the suppression of the Romanov monarchy. In October, the Bolshevik Party took over the reins of government in the October Revolution, establishing the world s first socialist state. There has been an intense debate regarding the role of key individuals Alexander Kerensky and Vladimir Leninin the events of 1917, and the role of other factors, such as the economy, the First World War and public opinion. In further retaliation, Kerensky appointed General Kornilov as head of the army with the task of suppressing the left. Kornilov decided that it was time to deal with the revolutionaries and to establish a strong government in Russia. Also Kornilov wanted the Tsar back in power which contradicted what Kerensky wanted. Therefore it leads me to believe that this was poor judgement by Kerensky and it shows how he was indirectly linked to him. Kornilov ordered the Cossacks to march on Petrograd. Kerensky panicked and asked the Bolsheviks for help. The Bolsheviks agreed and so Kerensky armed the Bolshevik red guards with rifles. However, Kornilov s troops never arrived in Petrograd as the railway workers stopped the trains so the Cossacks couldn t get to Petrograd. It is quite impossible for me to betray Russia into the hands of her ancient enemy, the German race, and to turn the Russian people into German slaves. Here, Kornilov described Russia s contribution in worldWar I as anobligation to prevent the Russian people from being confined by Germany. Although the Cossacks couldn t get to Petrograd, the red guards kept the rifles which were given to them by Kerensky and they would later be used in the October revolution. Consequently, it is clear that Kerensky had a key role in 1917, holding important government positions and ultimately losing the support of both the left and the right, allowing the Bolsheviks to take power. Not only was Kerensky s lack of knowledge of the ideologies Kornilov had his failure, but also the fact that he armed the opposition. During the Anglo Saxon era, there were values which remain the same till this day. Loyalty and courage play a big roll in today s values, as much as it did during the Anglo Saxon time. One of the Anglo Saxon values still holding true today will have to be loyalty. One might wonder, what exactly is loyalty? Loyalty is being faithful to something or someone, or in shorter words, always sticking to a person or thing no matter what the situation is. Beowulfshows his loyalty when he states he will not shift a foot (2524) because he cannot break his word. Wiglaf understands this loyalty to one s reputation and how it is linked to being a warrior. (2890 1) A warrior will sooner die than live a life of shame Beowulf hands Wiglaf his collar of gold, his war shirt, and his helmet and tells him to use them well showing an act of loyalty. Is the public loyal? Do the peopleshow loyalty? If the people think about it, the public can all relate to Beowulf. Every person must have a person or a thing who they are loyal to. It doesn t even have to be between people, one can be loyal to what they put their self into, maybe school or work. If a person gives all his loyalty to their career or job then it will all pay off. While pragmatic considerations of moral responsibility seem to be necessary for living within a society, the philosophic concept of moral responsibility beckons many inherent problems that must be resolved. One important note to make on Strawson s argument is his hard determinist stance. He believes that every decision and action of a person is predetermined by their heredity and early experience. For him, no form of free will exists. While he does believe that a person is able to examine their behaviors and tendencies, their ability to self revise is predetermined by heredity and early experience. His determinist stance allows his argument to be sound and extremely difficult to refute. Another important thing to draw from the Strawson argument is what is meant by moral responsibility. For Strawson, true moral responsibility means that one is responsible to the degree that it is sensible to either punish one with eternal torment in hell, or reward one with enteral bliss in heaven (314). His definition of moral responsibility is not confined to religious faith in heaven or hell, but rather is used to convey an absolute nature of accountability. This concept of moral responsibility as Strawson presents is pivotal in understanding his objection of moral responsibility. Leadership provides the vision and focuses on the people while management focuses on objectives and tasks. It is however valid that a budding leader may sometimes need to act as both a leader an as a manager whenever necessary. Hence serving to demotivate them at their work because they may feel irrelevant. Also, the problem of succession quickly comes to mind, so in the event of loss or absence of the great leader , there will be a problem with replacing him and the institution may suffer. This leads to another demerit of the theory. Based on the fact that a leader had to be born that way, there is no way to teach leadership to another person or improve one s own level of leadership. Much of the great man theory praises characteristics that are majorly associated with natural male characteristics and used male examples in its explanation. In orders words, women cannot be leaders. He looked at me, kind of gave me a smirk and said I honestly do not know much about this debate but I think it is silly to be argued over, because it is up to the person themselves. They can be considered very similar to timber framed construction in terms of similar working methods. Steel frames are already commonly used for retail spaces as they can provide the wide open spans required in retail spaces, quick erecting times during construction and the industry, such as contractors are generally familiar with its properties. Furthermore another motive for steel is that there are many manufacturers and suppliers established in the UK that specialise in steel construction and manufacturing. On October 29th of that year, MGM reported a sixty seven percent plunge in third quarter earnings, due mostly in part to lagging revenues from its Las Vegas properties. On that same day, MGM decided to halt a five million dollar Atlantic City project which was to be built on land next to Borgata Hotel and Casino. Shortly after this announcement, New Jersey gambling regulators were set to deny MGM s suitability to operate casinos in New Jersey. This was due mainly in part to their partner, Pansy Ho, who New Jersey regulators believed could not operate independently of her father, Stanley Ho. This forced MGM to sell their New Jersey property, Borgata Hotel and Casino, which was a highly profitable piece of business. Finally, at the end of 2008, MGM decided to sell its Las Vegas Treasure Island property. Around the same time, MGM also introduced Jim Murren as their new CEO. Murren was behind many of the major acquisitions that helped transform MGM and had been repeatedly honored as the gaming and lodging industry s top CFO by Institutional Investor magazine. This promotion came at an important time as MGM had fallen on some hard times. The start of 2009 was no better for MGM. Using Parallel Processing For Large Scale Database Analysis Modern Data Centers always interested in the new technology for various web search analysis, web log, bigdata analysis, social networking, so in this tasks new technology implemented using parallel processing for large scale database analysis, so the MapReduce is one of new technology to get amounts of data, perform massive computation, and extract critical knowledge out of big data for business intelligence, proper analysis of large scale of datasets, it requires accurate input output capacity from the large server systems to perform and analyze weblog data which is derived from two steps called mapping and reducing. Between these two steps, MapReducerequires a on important phase called shuffling phase which exchange the intermediate data. So at the point of data shuffling, by physically changing the location(moving) segments of intermediate data across disks, causes major I/O contention and generate the Input/Output problem such as large power consumption, high heat generation which accounts for a large portion of the operating cost of data centers in analyzing such big data. So in this synopsis we introduce the new virtual shuffling approach to enable well organized data movement and reduce I/O problem for MapReduce shuffling, thereby reducing power consumption and conserving energy. Virtual shuffling is achieved through a combination of three techniques including a three level segment table, near demand merging, and dynamic and balanced merging subtrees. Our ... • 26. Fahrenheit 451 Quotes Analysis Fahrenheit 451 Constructed Response In Fahrenheit 451, by Ray Bradbury, the Old Woman, Faber, and the Hobos all were characters who influenced Guy Montag to develop the theme of books possessing power. To begin, in the story, the Old Woman clearly expresses her yearning and captivation, which guided Montag to comprehend the competence and truth behind books. For example, the Old Woman was found having books and her house became a victim of the firemen s occupation. A quote from herself in the text, You can t ever have my books, she said [Bradbury 39], shows her persistence and tenaciousness for protecting her books from harm s way. To clarify, this Old Woman insisted on staying with her books and dying, even though Montag tried forcing her to leave. This impactful sacrifice of hers revealed to Montag that a virtuous, introvert like her still would die to... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... As a result, the inspiring, gallant actions of the Old Woman, advanced the theme of books possessing power to Montag. Secondly, in the passage, Faber explicitly states that books contain an abundance of universal knowledge and overall powers. For instance, Montag visits Faber to communicate about the actual veracity about books. A quote in the text from Faber, himself, The magic is only in what the books say, how they stitched the patches of the universe together into one garment for us [86]. This quote from Faber reveals that it s not the physical copies of the books themselves, but more so, what they convey in the articles of the book. In other words, Faber teaches Montag that books, in a way, are the realms and foundations of the outside world. Additionally, he somewhat says that books are the only information in the society about the outside world. Thus, the wise, knowledgeable, and rational conduct of Faber, reinforces the evolving of Montag s lesson of books possessing power. There is a majority of university students worldwide who have something in common: they have no idea what they will do after they graduate. Some students may have several ideas came out, but they never make them come true. There are plenty of people who have difficulty to know what they are passionate in, and even they can do but most never have the extraordinary drive necessary to go for their dreams. At this difficult time, there is a book walked to me, Major in Success written by Patrick Combs, which is a book that is to help people find their true dream job and become successful, and also it helped me find the true purpose of studying in university. This book pointed out that doing what you enjoy propels you to success . It means doing what you enjoy is the core to find your dream job. If one has a job that pays well but he never get happiness from it, and instead of fears, tears and no cheers. He also brings their fears from work to their lives and families and makes these people who are outside of his job feel sad and then, that will destroy a big and happy environment. This book tells people how to make their dreams come true. People who follow their dreams are the meaning of living in the world and the way to get happiness. And everyone has this ability to achieve this goal; what they need to do is only to possess extraordinary drive. We describe mapping of histology and MRI based data of the common squirrel monkey and construction of a viewing tool that enable online viewing of these datasets. The previously descried atlas MRI is used for its deformation to provide accurate conformation to the MRI, thus adding information at the histological level to the MRI volume. This paper presents the mapping of single 2D image slice in block face as a proof of concept and this can be extended to map the atlas space in 3D coordinate system as part of the future work and can be loaded to an XNAT system for further use. Keywords: primate neuroanatomy, atlas, magnetic resonance imaging, diffusion tensor imaging 1.INTRODUCTION Atlases provide a central coordinate system in which to merge information from different imaging modalities, across time within a single subject, between subjects, and among studies. Digital atlases have come into common use from brain mapping with 3 D imaging techniques, e.g., magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Integration of histology images with typical multi modal MRI atlases (e.g., for the squirrel monkey [1]) is greatly complicated by the fact that histological sections are, by their nature, extraordinarily isotopic. Any out of plane rotation/resampling would result substantive partial volume artifacts. During the sectioning process, it is commonly possible to acquire photographic images of the block face ... The data agrees with what would be expected looking at the electronic states of the metal atoms. Vanadium is in the D5 group of the period table so it is had five unpaired electrons in the D orbital. Since experimentally V(IV) is produced, that means vanadium has a positive four oxidation state reducing its unpaired electrons in the D orbital to one. For iron, it is in the D8 group and has a positive three oxidation state so it has a total of five unpaired electrons in its D orbital. Zinc is in the D10 group and is in the ground state, where all its electrons are paired. Since the magnetic susceptibility is measuring the number of unpaired electrons reacting with a magnetic field, the results demonstrate that by an increase in magnetic moments with the increase in the number of unpaired electrons. The treaty of Versailleswhich was meant to be a conclusion to the madness, lead to an even greater bloodshed. The progressive era was a constitutional movement led by a group of citizens that believed that their struggles such as poverty, and violence would get resolved by the government and by education. The constitutional movement wanted the Americans to take a moment and deeply perceive the meaning of democracy. Industries and America were pro business and practiced private parties. The company became inveigle by industry and political machines and lessened the public influence; capitalism became the higher power, rather than the public being in control, which made a negative effect on society.
