had the opportunity to observe an open Alcoholics Anonymoussession at Calvary
Chapel in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. Upon arrival, there were two people already there.
One lady appeared to be the facilitator as she was seated at a table with sign in
sheets and class material. I quickly introduced myself and explained that I was
there to observe as a class assignment. She warmly welcomed me, handed me some
reading material and offered me to sit where I pleased. The room was located in the
multipurpose room of the church. There were no windows, just an assortment of
chairs positioned in a circle for easy discussion. While waiting for the others to
trickle in, I was educated that the weekly sessions were formed for addicts to discuss
their journey of addiction, and to provide and receive support for their decision to
remain sober. The meeting opened with group facilitator making everyone aware

A Research Group On The Large Scale Experiment
Results For this experiment our research group produced our own taq. Being able
to do this saved our lab a lot of money for such a large scale experiment. After the
moonshine taq was made and amplified using a PCR, we ran a test gel to determine
if the taq was functioning and could replicate DNA. Figure 1 shows that the taq
was capable of replication. Here we also observe that each band traveled 500 bp,
meaning that the mass of the samples was roughly 97ng. We tested both heat
treated taq, and non heat treated taq to determine if one or the other yielded better
results. We did not see a difference in the results between the heat treated and the
non heat treated taq, which suggests that the heat treating step is not necessary. We
also compared the two moonshine taqs that we made to commercially prepared taq
(shown in lanes 1 and 2). Our taq was very comparable to the commercial taq. Next
we turned regular E.coli cells, into chemically competent cells. This means that the
cells were now able to act a host cel1 and accept the vector. Through transformation,
we were then able to insert the pCS2 + GFP into the E.coli cells.. We then isolated
the pCS2 + GFP from the chemically competent E.coli cells that we previously
made, using a miniprep protocol. To observe whether or not we successfully

Do conflicts develop our characters and help us attain our goals? Following the
theme of conflict in the novel the Son of Neptune, Rick Riordan uses conflict to
make the piece of writing more interesting. Riordan incorporates different types of
conflict in the novel to show how the heroes must co operate with each other to
complete their quest.
The conflict between the hero and his family shows a subsequent reaction further in
the novel. The author is showing the hero struggling with his family which helps to
form a closer bond with his friends. Riordan shows the hero separating himself
from his father, Mars, the god of war, whom the hero despises, by working closer
with his friends on the quest that is given to them (Son of Neptune, 151). When this
meeting occurs, the hero is confronted by old memories which handicap him during
the quest and needs the help of his friends to aid him on his quest. As well as
mentally in conflict with his family, the hero displays common exhibits of grief for his
family which is an opening to express hurt or anger from experience elsewhere
(Varieties of Family Conflict in Adolescence). The author shows the hero using the
death of his mother and his new found father to inflict pain on other family members.
With this much trouble in his family, Riordan shows how the hero depends on his
friends to help him throughout the story.

The third article, Bus Rapid Transit Service Design, by American Public
Transportation Association focuses on fare evasion and smart cards on BRT. The
overall objective of BRT is to enhance transit through travel times that are faster than
traditional fixed route bus service. While seen as a premium service, BRT should not
be implemented at the expense of existing fixed route service, but rather in a way that
complements and enhances other transit services (APTA). With buses coming every
ten to fifteen minutes, fare evasions seems to be the big issue. Busoperators do not
have time to inspect fares because that would delay the service.
In addition, transit agencies are likely to implement a smart card system because it
will minimize and reduce fare evasion. BRT routes operate at a high frequency,
which leads to an increased percentage of riders. The majority of transit agencies
use the proof of verification method, which increases the numbers of fare evaders
because fare inspections do not happen very often. Also, bus operators like to keep
their buses on schedule so it is impossible for them to inspect fares without delaying

The IASB conceptual framework is a framework of theories prepared by a standard
setting body aimed t dealing with practical problems faced by users of financial
statements; the characteristics of accounting information; the elements of financial
statements and concepts for measuring and reporting the elements such as assets and

can be applied to deal with common accounting problems; have fewer standards to

In the 10th century, Zanj slaves in Mesopotamia, after being forced to work in
terrible conditions, revolted and were not stopped for over 10 years. In the 18th
century during the French Revolution, the Third Estate revolted in order to get
political and social reform and prevent unfair taxes. Later in the 18th century slaves
in Saint Domingue revolted against the white planters and France, and fought until
they gained independence. In 1810, Miguel Hidalgo led a group of peasants against
the Imperial Spanish rule in Mexico and the rigid social structure in place. In the
20th century in Russia, peasants and workers tired of unfair land distribution,
serfdom, poor living standards and other inequalities, started the Russian Revolution.
In these cases, those with power and wealth, failed to satisfy or control the masses
of lower class people which led to revolts and unrest. In other instances, civil order

Building which housed the Triangle Waist Company, a clothing manufacture in lower
