The Duality Of Bhamman And Brahman In Shankara s Dualism
In his philosophical attempts, Shankara tried to demonstrate that the reality is one and Brahman is the
most noteworthy supernatural reality and opposes duality. As indicated by Raju (1983), Shankara
acknowledges the truth of Brahman on the premise of the Upanishads. In any case, in his contentions
with the schools that don t acknowledge the Vedic power (for example Buddhism), he built up another
premise.
The Brahman is depicted in various courses by the Upanishads, and the portrayals come down at last
into three constitutive attributes: Being (satta), Consciousness (cit), and Bliss (ananda). The initial two
are significant to epistemology and metaphysics, and the third to aesthetics and the life of salvation.
Shankara would appear, so far ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Both are past the faculties, the brain, and the acumen. They can be acknowledged just by prompt
learning. Whatever is in the self is likewise in the non self. By this union of the Brahman and Atman,
Shankara dismisses a wide range of dualism and built up a powerful, epistemological, and axiological
non dualism. Brahman is available wherever as the spirit. That is, whatever is in the universe is
likewise in the microcosm. Every one of the three qualities of Brahman to be specific, being,
cognizance, and happiness are one and the same. This powerful, epistemological, and axiological
blend of Brahman in Shankara s logic is unrivaled ever. There is no refinement between knower,
information, and known in Brahman, nor any qualification between waking, envisioning, and dozing;
cognizance, obviousness and subliminal quality and so forth. Disregarding considering Brahman as
past all refinements, Shankara has not taken it to be a nullification. Brahman can be acknowledged by
prompt natural learning. Brahman is of the way of joy. Yet, this happiness is simply a protest of
understanding. Henceforth by calling Him joy, Brahman does not get to be

Lisa Hilton What s Wrong With Skinny Essay
Walking into the library at most high schools brings to the eye an array of fashion magazines in the
front shelves. Most schools acknowledges that fashion has a large audience, but the skinnier and
skinnier models have created a large group of people with eating disorders and bad self images. In her
article What s Wrong with Skinny? that discusses eating disorders linked to the fashion industry, Lisa
Hilton states that women are so pathologically stupid that they are unable to distinguish the fantasy of
the runway from the realities of their own bodies . Fashion is something that many girls let influence
them into changing how they dress, feel, and eat; the skinnier the models are (or are retouched to
look), the more it supports eating ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
For the couture, we had to get up at 4 a.m. to be sewn into the clothes and there was huge pressure to
be thin. Models in the fashion industry have been getting thinner and thinner, with runway models
being size 0 to size 4 and plus size models being between sizes 6 and 14, and they qualify for anorexia
on the charts of eating disorders according to Rader Programs, an organization that helps treat eating
disorders. Most models use extreme dieting methods such as eating tissues and lettuce to keep
themselves thin. This is encouraged in the industry due to the need to stay thin. Because these dieting
techniques work for the models, some teenage girls get the idea that they can do that as well.
Anderson and Domenico found that women s magazines had 10.5 times more dieting information than
men s magazines, which mainly focus on sex and women s fashion mistakes. Eating disorders have
caused major problems in teens starving themselves just to stay unnaturally

Starting Off With The Gordon Growth Model
Starting off with the Gordon Growth Model was developed by Professor Myron Gordon of the
University of Toronto. It explains that if any investor is aware of the dividends handed out in a year by
any company, and at what rate that dividend will grow, the investor is able to determine the actual
value of the stock, which describes what the investor should pay at most for the selected stock issued
by the company. (Ozyasar, 2015) The Gordon Growth models inputs are relatively easy to determine.
The dividends can be found using any platform or the general news (since they are announced
publicly). The investor generally has an idea of the required return he/she demands of a certain stock
they are investing in i.e 12%. The problematic issue arises in determining the rate at which a dividend
will grow. This is determined through being able to make assumptions on what product will grow in
the market or in general which company will grow, which usually makes final results inexact Ozyasar
describes. The limitation of the Gordon Growth Model arises when there is no constant growth rate on
a stock dividend, which in reality as Ozyasar describes is almost never the case. Despite these
limitations the GGM is still a powerful tool used by investors constantly to make decisions on what
required return or growth rate would they require for a stock to be favorable and from that an investor
determines how to move on with their portfolio. For example Michael Blair discussed the use of the

The Fate Of The Furious

Introduction
The movie that I decided to review was The Fate of the Furious. This is the 8th film in the Fast and the
Furious series. I was finally able to see this film on April 21, 2017 at 7 o clock in the evening at The
Junction Megaplex theatre in Ogden, Utah. This movie is directed by F Gary Gray and the music
editor is Brain Tyler. Dominic Toretto (Dom) and his newly wedded wife Letty are celebrating their
honeymoon in Cuba and don t return to the United States. Dom then went into town to get some
groceries and discovers a lady named Cipher trying to fix her vehicle. While Dom is looking at what is
missing, the lady addresses Dom by his name. She wants to work with him and shows him something

At the top of the walls, there were curtains of thick fabrics and layers of material help absorb sound
while providing a decorative touch that improves your impression of the establishment as a whole.
These curtains were also a charcoal gray color to make the wall took seamless. The stairs were
covered in carpet and were lit so that people could see where they were going if they had to leave
while the movie was on. There was painted flooring underneath each of the chairs.
The chairs were a black leather fabric. There were about 75 chairs that were actually recliners so that
you could relax while watching the movie giving the movie theater a homelike feel. When the movie
previews started, the lights dimmed to soft yellow lighting. The light came from purple yellow and red
lighting structures. Movie theaters are set up this way because they are trying to soundproof, have
better acoustics, and make clients comfortable so that the patron would want to come back to another
movie. It s all about keeping clientele. If there is none of the listed items, people are less inclined to
come back.
Description of Musical Style
Brian Tyler s musical concept can be described as a straightforward use of simple themes and triadic
harmonies. This score however is somewhat distinctive in that the realization of this musical approach
makes use of traditional music accented by synthetic timbres and sounds for the added intensity effect.

The Imf ( International Monetary Fund )
The IMF (International Monetary Fund), also known as the Fund, was conceived at a UN conference
in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire, United States, in July 1944. The 44 countries at that conference
sought to build a framework for economic cooperation to avoid a repetition of the competitive
devaluations that had contributed to the Great Depression of the 1930s
(https://www.imf.org/external/about.htm). Currently, the organization is headquartered in Washington,
D. C. Originally, the IMF was designed to promote economic cooperation internationally and provide
short term loans to member countries for the benefit of trade.
During the 1980 s, many countries were experiencing a crisis of debt. During this time, The IMF has
taken on the role of bailing out countries with loans that have certain conditions attached. These loans
are usually referenced as Structural Adjustment Policies (SAPs). In order for a country to get a loan,
the policies of the IMF must be followed. Therefore, monetary values can be dictated on education,
healthcare, and the environment.
In 2010, the country of Greece experienced one of the worst financial crises in modern history. During
this time, The IMF wanted to be involved with the financial support package that Greece (and other
countries in the Eurozone) would receive. That same year, French President Nikolas Sarkozy stated I
will never allow the IMF in Europe (http://www.reuters.com/investigates/special report/imf greece/).

Hip Hop Vs Jazz Music Essay
What if someone would make a mash up of the two music genres, jazz and hip hop? Jazz music can
date to the early 1900 s but there is no specified founder (www.jazzinamerica.org). Hip hop can also
trace back to an approximate start date, but there is not just one creator (Errey 1997). Jazz and hip hop
have many similarities along with their numerous differences. Jazz music and hip hop music are both
genres of music that have long histories and have lots of similarities and differences, too. First of all,
the historical timeline of jazz is very long and complicated, leading to no single founder of the genre.
A thick horde of dark bodies frames into circular gatherings maybe five or six hundred people moving
so as to the pulsations of the music (www.nytimes.com). This could be an African country or just
about everywhere (www.nytimes.com). But, this is New Orleans, The Big Easy (www.nytimes.com).
Crazy, right, how diverse this country is? Anyway, this is where some people believe jazz first started.
However, this source claims, The city that was the birthplace of jazz was New Orleans...would ...

One difference is that both genres use different instruments. Jazz uses many orchestral instruments,
while hip hop, as stated previously, uses mostly computer generated sounds and beats. An example of
this is comparing The Sound of Silence and Hotline Bling s instrumental use. The Sound of Silence
uses a trumpet while Hotline Bling uses technologically edited sounds. Another difference is the
genres birthplaces. Jazz was in the New Orleans area, while hip hop was more near New York City
(Kumar 2011). The genres uses of improvisation are starkly different (Kumar 2011). Jazz music
usually has one musician who goes off and does an improvised thing as the other musicians keep
playing the melody, while in hip hop music, the melody doesn t usually keep playing while the person

The Argument Of The Film About The Past
I will prove that that the argument of the film about the past can inform our understanding of
ourselves today in many different ways. As history can be very influential to a nation, by the way we
recall and decipher those history facts that give us a feeling of place and self as a nation. However we
should recall how those authentic flashbacks can, and regularly are, controlled for different political
influences; because one event history can have a change in the country forever.
Due to these events we know we cannot trust the government because stuff like this can still be
happening under the table and we wouldn t know, therefore that would me the conspiracy is still kept
going to a certain extend. Especially with JFK and Martian Luther

The Civil Unrest Of The Handmaid s Tale The Sons Of...
Amidst the civil unrest that occurred prior to the beginning of The Handmaid s Tale, the Sons of Jacob
were able to establish their theocratic society by executing insidious machinations calculated to
control the United States, and thereafter successfully turning it into Gilead. The Sons of Jacob
employed several schemes in carrying out their theocracy over Gilead, a substantial part of which
shall be discussed in this paper. Perhaps the most important act of the regime in gaining control of the
society is the prohibition of reading by most women. They practically blocked the access towards
literacy, which the majority enjoyed in the once democratic United States of America. From this, it
was clear that the new regime was more ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The answer to the above stated question may seem to be hard, but a careful perusal to the history of
Gilead would reveal that the change brought about by the Sons of Jacob was gradual and calculated. It
was not done overnight. The terrorist attack brought about panic among the populace. The dazed
public, with no leader to govern them, was puzzled at the current state of things and needed
equilibrium to restore their respective inner peace. This power vacuum served as the cue for the Sons
of Jacob to come in. Their cunning circumvented the wisdom of the public and covered under to veil
of restoring peace to America. The population were of course more than willing to benefit from the
help being offered by these Christians. The Sons of Jacob were religious in stature, so majority of
people believed them, and not to mention the additional motivation of drawing power from them in
the time of crisis. With the euphoria of being saviours from such a tragic state, the group was able to
slowly exercise control towards the populace by first suspending the power of the Constitution, taking
away the right to read (for some), setting a caste system for everyone to follow, among others. Again,
the heavy influence of language in society can be seen here since the vessel in proper execution of the
multifarious plans of the new leaders had something to do with language (in

Macbeth Good Vs Evil Essay
Can the evil part of a man overcome his good heart? The Tragedy of Macbeth is a Drama written by
William Shakespeare that takes place in Scotland, England. In the story, the main character, Macbeth,
kills King Duncan to become King. He is so blind with his evilness that he does not see that his reign
of power will come to an end. The theme, good vs. evil, shows one just how quick another can have a
change of heart through Macbeth s conflicts with himself, his wife, and the son of the King. To begin
with, Macbeth has had internal good vs. evil issues. Macbeth contemplates about killing King Duncan
when he says First, as I am his Kinsman and his subject, strong both against the deed; then, as his
host, who should against his murderer shut the door, not bear the knife myself. (Act I, scn vii, ln 13

Malcolm is King Duncan s son and he wants to take the throne back from Macbeth when he says
Already at a point, was set forth. Now we ll together, and the chance of goodness be like our
warranted quarrel. (Act IV, scn iii, ln 135 137) Malcolm is prepared and hopes that their success
equals the justice of their cause. Malcolm is hopeful when he says Tis his main hope, for where there
is advantage to be given both more and less have given him the revolt, and none serve with him but
constrained things whose hearts are absent too. (Act VI, scn vi, ln 10 14) With this, Malcolm is
hopeful because Macbeths men will be in battle physically but not in spirit. After reading the play, the
reader realizes how good vs. evil can overturn one another. Macbeth and Lady Macbeths evil plan
were stopped by Malcolm. Macbeth ended up dead and Lady Macbeth was so consumed by guilt that
she ended up taking her own life. Malcolm became King of Scotland in the end. Therefore, this
convincing evidence proves that the evil part of a man can overcome his good

The Play Our Town
The play Our Town was something so unique and simple, but it somehow found a way to relate with
everyone. Its simplicity seemed to be a hit or miss with many audience members. It was one of those
plays that you relate so much with it you enjoy its minimalistic nature, or you find it too typical and
boring. I happen to be among the group that found this play to be very appealing. I feel that at many
times, little to no scenery and props make it hard to visualize the scene of a play. However, with Our
Town the addition of a stage manager to give an explanation of each scene made up for that entirely.
The stage manager of the play had to be my absolutely favorite character. I found him witty and
expressive. He made his voice emit the right type of sound when articulating his point. Even his facial
expressions matched the mood his character was meant to be in. He fit his character so well that if it
weren t for him, I wouldn t have enjoyed the play as much as I did. As a whole he was a great actor.
He did all the right gestures and made his acting feel so natural. It was like he was having a
conversation with the audience. I think the element of his character is what created a connection with
the play and myself. Another actor that was suitable for his character was the one who played Howie
Newsome, the milkman. His character was very fascinating in how he managed to act along with the
sound effects, and was on time. He was very enthusiastic in his scenes. For example, every

Evil Is The Devoid Of Good Intentions
What is evil? I believe that evil is the devoid of good intentions. Evil can also corrupt an individual
and society and evil can cause suffering. Evil is also wicked that causes harm, crime, misfortune, and
in some instances war. Throughout this course I have been able to study evil in eastern religions,
Hinduism and Buddhism respectively. There representation of evil is far different than my view of evil
was before this class. In this paper, I will discuss the evil ideologies of both religions and then choose
which ideology that I prefer. Hinduism has a very interesting aspect to evil. I learned this right way
though our reading of the Ramayana. The Ramayana is all about two main elements; demons and
devotion. Ravana, is a demon Rakshasa and is in love with Sita. Sita is the sister of Rama and is taken
by Ravana. Ravana heard that their was a beautiful maiden and he was just in love with the description
that he was getting of her. Ravana said that he needs to go and get her. Ravana than comes up with his
master plan. He tells Mareecha to disguise himself as a deer and try to lead Rama to chase you into the
forest. When Rama runs into the forest Ravana swoops in and takes Sita to Lanka, where Ravana is
king (The Ramayana). At this point Ravana has Sita which is good, it is what he wanted there is only
one problem. Ravana can not touch Sita because she does not love him. So at this point it is very
boring until the big battle. During the big battle between

The Novel The Spirit Level I Came Into Inequality
While reading The Spirit Level I came into conclusion that the inequality in developed countries is
great threat to society as a whole. The major issues that are brought up in the book are the inequality
between the rich and the poor in developed countries but also the comparison between developing
countries. The book dives into several factors that are the effects of the inequality ranging from
obesity, teenage birth, life expectancy etc.... I would discuss in depth on each of these factors and how
they all are key components in society and how they add to the inequality in developed countries. One
of the first factors the book brings up is the issue of trust and how it is a main factor in society, trust is
what keeps us from not turning on each other and seeing others as cooperative rather than competitive.
According to the book trust has fallen from a high 60 percent from 1960 to a low of less than 40
percent in 2004 , this facts gives insight into the society we are living in now. When I read this, I could
only think of the mindset many people have now, job security is tight and that everyone is seen as
competition. I for one living in America I always have a sense that everyone wants to be on top, and
they are willing to do everything to get the job or position, instead of trying to change the way of
selfishness, we are adding to it, especially with social media. Social media has it pros but it has very
damaging cons, ideas of self worth and values are being shoved

What would a person say that makes a world goes round? Money, emotions, power and what not? But
there would also be many who would say that it is the aesthetics. And who can keep arts and crafts

It shouldn t be surprising that so many universities today offer a number of courses on different crafts

The Theories Of Management That Organizations Can Use
There are many approaches to management that organizations can use. Managerial theories are based
on historical approaches or historical theories. Many organizations use more than one approach that
may or may not be effective. Several decades ago researchers were attempting to explain the nature of
managing from six different points of view: management process, empirical approach, human
behavior, social system, decision theory, and mathematics theory.
The organization that I work for, the City of Lilburn, does not use just one approach to management.
One of the management approaches that the city uses is the social system approach. Vilfredo Pareto, a
sociologist, and Chester Barnard were the pioneers of this theory. Pareto came up with the idea that
human relationships were social systems (Koontz, 1980). His work made an impression and
influenced Chester Barnard.
Barnard, during his study, noticed executives operating in cooperative social systems that he names
organizations. Social systems are the cooperative interaction of ideas, forces, desires and thinking of
two or more people. This theory later was applied to many groups and cooperatives (Koontz, 1980).
With this approach organizations are essentially a cultural system that is composed of people who
work in cooperation in order to achieve the organizations goals. Management needs to understand the
behavior of people in the groups in order for this approach to be affective. This approach relies on the

Edelstein The Great Terror Summary
The Terror s Origins The nation of France following the approval of the rights of man was a country in
great turmoil. The popular revolution had received what they had so desired, that being a
constitutional monarchy with a set of bylaws that would both protect the people of France and hinder
the power of the monarch. A second revolution would take center stage and hijack the revolution and
push for more radical ideas and push for the stern punishment of the king and those around him
following his flight. The aspect of the revolution that would have the most profound impact on both
the nation and the terror, would be that of the Jacobin club coming into power in France. The
collimation of both Jacobin ideals and having the power to institute these ideas would go on to lead to

Edelstein points to the new government as being the culprits to terror, which is best stated as It
remains to be explained why the Jacobins unceasingly widened their circle of hostility, from the king

to emphasis the misdeeds of the government and specifically details the shift towards approved
institutional violence against those suspected enemies as stated Instead of preserving the rights and
lives of the many, natural right enabled and encouraged State violence to occur on a formidable level

Elements Of The Most Dangerous Game And The Most Dangerous...
The stories The Most Dangerous Game and The Gift of the Magi are both well written and vivid
stories. The Most Dangerous Game is about a hunter who becomes hunted, and The Gift of the Magi
is about a married couple trying to find each other gifts for christmas. Both stories have literary
elements that move the story along, but in The Most Dangerous Game the elements are used more
effectively. In the story, The Most Dangerous Game, two hunters, Whitney and Rainsford, sail past an
island with a bad reputation among sailors. Rainsford falls out and swims to shore. A man named
Zaroff takes him in for dinner. It turns out that he is a hunter like Rainsford, but his method of hunting
is different. Rainsford ends up being hunted by Zaroff and he comes to a very difficult choice. He
decides to risk it and jump off a cliff to swim back to shore. The story ends when Rainsford finds his
way back and challenges Zaroff. This story portrays many literary elements. One of them is
forshadowing. There are two ways that the author, Richard Connell, uses this technique. First off,
Whitney says, The world is made up of two classes. The hunters and the huntees. Luckily, you and I
are hunters. This foreshadows when Rainsford is going to be in the position of the huntee. Second, he
foreshadows the eerie island. The place has a reputation a bad one. says Whitney. Later on, the island
has great importance in the story. Another element Connell uses is situational irony. He uses it when

Free-Will Vs Predestination
In order to answer the question, How do we reconcile our free will with the sovereignty and
determination of God? successfully, we must first define the terms free will and predestination. In
reference to the subject of salvation, free will means man s ability to choose the way to salvation or
not. Basically, it is man s ability to choose God without God s help. On the other hand, predestination
refers to the fact that God has chosen before the foundation of the world those whom He wishes to
save and those whom He wishes to condemn. In other words, man is chosen to be saved by God, not
for anything that he does, but simply because the Lord has chosen him for His good pleasure.
Although it may seem simple at first, this question of free will versus predestination is really not that
easy to unravel. First, free will must be further defined in the context of pre Fall, unregenerate,
regenerate, and glorified man. Before the Fall, Adam and Eve were perfect image bearers of God.
They had the ability to choose to sin and the ability to choose not to sin. In Latin, this state is best
known as posse peccare, posse non peccare. After the Fall, the man was in an unregenerate state with
the ability to sin but through the Fall he had lost the ability not to ... Show more content on

The answer is simple he cannot choose to go against his nature. If the man is unregenerate, he cannot
choose not to sin. In order for him ever to come into cooperation with God, then, he must be made
alive through regeneration, which is solely the work of the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ Himself declared,
No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last
day (John 6:44). In John 8:36, Christ declares that if the son sets you free, then you are free indeed.
Nevertheless, Scripture never mentions man freeing or saving himself of his own free

Dehumanization In The Beast People
The cover of the Broadview Edition of The Island of Doctor Moreau shows someone prying a dog s
mouth open with his hands. Perhaps he wants to see the inside of its mouth, remove its sharp teeth, or
even make it speak, yet the dog seems to be resisting his effort. This image echoes a few ideas
presented in the novel, such as the creation of the Beast People, the torturing of animals, and their
bestial nature. In the novel, Moreau refers to the vivisection of animals as a humanizing process (120)
because he wants to transform animals into humans. However, the Beast People and undergo an
ongoing process of humanization and dehumanization, showing that whatever state they were made
for is not permanent. H.G. Wells suggests a definition of humanity through Moreau s philosophy of
pain and reasoning, but the dehumanization of the Beast People and humans suggest that this
philosophy is not viable. In order to discuss the humanizing and dehumanizing processes, we must
first acknowledge Moreau s definition of humanity. In his explanation of vivisection to Prendick, he
associates pain with beasts: This store which men and women set on pain, Prendick, is the mark of the
beast upon them the mark of the beast from which they came! Pain, pain and pleasure, they are for us
only so long as we wriggle in the dust. (127) As long as beasts are motivated by pain, they will always
be inferior to men. Moreau also says: Then with men, the more intelligent they become, the more
intelligently they will see after their own welfare, and the less they will need the goad to keep them
out of danger... And pain gets needless. (127) Moreau s definition of humanity is a creature that is not
driven by pain, and uses reasoning to take rational action. In order to rid animals of their bestial
nature, he tries to transform their mental structure by superseding old inherent instincts by new
suggestions, grafting upon or replacing the inherited fixed ideas (125). On the other hand, he also
acknowledges the physical differences of humans and animals, such as a monkey s incapacity to speak
due to the lack of a larynx. (125) Through vivisection, he is able to alter animals physical
characteristics to resemble humans. In order to create the ideal

My Musical Theatre
Throughout my entire life I have never had any real interest in musical theatre. One time when I was
in about 5th grade, my grandfather took me, my brother and my cousin to a showing of the
Nutcracker. Let me tell you, I tried my hardest, I really tried, but I couldn t stay awake for the entire
performance. This experience I had put a bad taste in my mouth as for the next several years, I never
attended another musical theatre event.
One day in the spring, I was going through Golden Bear Advising, and I saw that Berkeley
recommended that everyone should listen to the Hamilton soundtrack. I didn t know much about the
musical other than that a couple of my friends in my high school s theatre company listened to it. My
first thought was that it must be better than the Nutcracker, so I decided I d give it a chance. About 15
seconds into Alexander Hamilton I remember saying out loud, hmm wow, this bumps! My first time
listening to the soundtrack, I didn t listen to it all the way through, but I was definitely hooked I
wanted to keep listening. Over the summer, whenever I d go on long car rides, I d try to listen to the
soundtrack. To be honest, before I listened to the soundtrack, I didn t think that I would like it, simply
because I wasn t a fan of musical theatre. However, I was blown away and thoroughly the music, the
way in which it was presented and the story that was told.
What sticks out to me about the soundtrack is that it kept my attention because at the end

The Emergence Of Applicant Tracking Systems ( Ats )
The emergence of applicant tracking systems (ATS) has gained a reputation beginning early in the
new millennium. The use of ATS gives companies a method to manage a mass amount of candidate
data and causes the job seeker to do more work. The main characteristic of ATS is the piece that
selects resumes for further review. This can be a standalone system or module within a human
resources management system. Two of the larger ATS is Taleo which is an Oracle company and
Kenexa which is a part of IBM. Often times when a job seeker is browsing on a company website or
job power, somewhere on the screen will say Powered by followed by whatever applicant tracking
system is being used. ATS are meant to provide customized solutions for these ... Show more content

Some screeners eyeball every submission that comes in, while others search for certain keywords
among applications. Likewise, there are screeners who consider cover letters in their evaluations and
those who ignore them. Career experts suggest erring on the side of caution. Submit a carefully
written cover letter and insert keywords must have qualifications usually found in the job posting with
every application. Job hunters should expect to wait anywhere from a few days to several weeks
before receiving a response to an application, if at all. (Needleman). The system will look for those
words to determine who moves forward in the process. However, newer technology analyzes the
words and looks for context and relevance and can check where in someone s work history a skill was
used. These techniques make it harder to manipulate the system. Such tricks like filling your resume
with keywords in white font so people can t read it will not work with later technology. Resumes
posted in applicant tracking systems are seen by two viewers: the computer, then hopefully a human.
The resume has to perform well in the ATS, and then when it is presented to a hiring manager it has to
look good. Social media has changed the way businesses work and recruit for new employees. Once
hiring managers get a hold of resumes, they look for ways to exclude

The Battle Of The World War II
The first time aircrafts are seen playing major roles in World War II Germany and Japan had begun to
attack the nation. Germany and Japan began their initial attacks strong with air strikes, first attacking
Holland, Denver, France, and England. When the British retaliated, they had cutting edge fighters
guided by radar. The Battle for Britain was one of the first battles fought solely in the air, keeping
Germany from taking control of Britain s airways. Japan also began its attack on the U.S via air strike
during in the Japanese surprise bombing of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Soon the use of military aircrafts
began to technologically advance due to their importance. Aircrafts took part in World War I, but had
minor affect in the outcome. However, during World War II they were plausibly the greatest weaponry
system available. The airplane specifically became a vital machine that vastly affected the way many
battles were lost and won. Another vital war machine is the aircraft carrier, essential to the United
States after the majority of its battleships were destroyed at Pearl Harbor. Airplanes played a major
role in the outcome of the war. From reconnaissance, fighters, to bombing missions without the help
of airplanes the achievements, and advancements of the aircrafts and military missions would have
inhibited us from constructing the modern technologies that are used today.
Undoubtedly, air reconnaissance played a role during the First World War. Pilot reporters enabled

Essay On Unemployment In America
A record of 94,708,000 Americans are not in the labor force as of May 2016. CNS news took this
information from the Labor Department s Bureau of Labor Statistics reported on June third 2016. This
is an all time high for unemployment in the United States. The possible reason why so many
Americans aren t working could be due to the fact that the way money is distributed in America isn t
what they people think it is, and it isn t even close to the ideal. Another reason why Americans aren t
working could be that a small portion of the U.S. owns a large portion of all the earnings, and the
CEOs of companies are making a ridiculous amount more than their workers. A Harvard businessman

surprised that so many people aren t working. Americans thoughts on how wealth is divided is so far

Americans owns almost half the wealth and they certainly don t know that the CEOs of companies are

that so many people are unemployed which has also lead to rapid increase of

on November 24, 1994. She lived in County Clare and then moved to Boston in 2009. She was a very
pretty girl and she did not fight back if someone did anything to her. She attended school at South
Hadley High School. She had made some new friends and started dating at her new school. After she
broke up with some of these guys is when she started getting bullied. She was bullied by her other
kids because that were jealous of her. She got called many names, got chased by kids, and got
cornered in the bathroom, pushed into lockers and got her books thrown on the ground. She got hit by
paper balls that had her face and name scribbled out of the paper. One day in gym class, one of the
mean girls were caught talkign bad about Phoebe and the gym teacher sent her to the assistant
principal s office. The police were called and they had to see the school counselor. One this same day,
Phoebe was walking home from school and the mean girls drove by her and they threw a pop can at
her. Phoebe had enough of the bullying. When she got home from school that day, she hung herself.
The bullying did not end there. On her Facebook memorial page, people made mean comments and

Standardization of Computer Forensics through Legal and...
Abstract Technological advancement in computer technology has opened new horizons for human
progress along with creating new criminal opportunities. These computer based crimes are difficult to

procedural and legal enhancements. Keeping in view the need of standardization in computer forensic

2. Problem defined
The rapid growth of computer technology has created new opportunities for criminals to exploit online
vulnerabilities against information stored and transmitted over advanced communication networks.
The future growth of the information technology is endangered from growing cyber threats. [1]
There are two main interlinked problem areas [2] highlighted in this research. First one is the
procedural framework of forensics framework. Second one is the legal framework of the electronic
crimes in Pakistan.
Cyber threat is a global problem and it needs a global solution, involving all stakeholders. All
countries linked together through cyber space must have adequate laws to cop with electronic crimes
and especially computer crimes. In Pakistan The Electronic Transactions Ordinance, 2002 was the first
specific ordinance, it was a base for the Prevention of Electronic Crime Ordinance (PECO) 2007/2009
along with the laws contained in the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).
Although PECO covers a lot of criminal scope yet many limitations are there in this ordinance. These
limitations include:

  • 2. The Duality Of Bhamman And Brahman In Shankara s Dualism In his philosophical attempts, Shankara tried to demonstrate that the reality is one and Brahman is the most noteworthy supernatural reality and opposes duality. As indicated by Raju (1983), Shankara acknowledges the truth of Brahman on the premise of the Upanishads. In any case, in his contentions with the schools that don t acknowledge the Vedic power (for example Buddhism), he built up another premise. The Brahman is depicted in various courses by the Upanishads, and the portrayals come down at last into three constitutive attributes: Being (satta), Consciousness (cit), and Bliss (ananda). The initial two are significant to epistemology and metaphysics, and the third to aesthetics and the life of salvation. Shankara would appear, so far ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Both are past the faculties, the brain, and the acumen. They can be acknowledged just by prompt learning. Whatever is in the self is likewise in the non self. By this union of the Brahman and Atman, Shankara dismisses a wide range of dualism and built up a powerful, epistemological, and axiological non dualism. Brahman is available wherever as the spirit. That is, whatever is in the universe is likewise in the microcosm. Every one of the three qualities of Brahman to be specific, being, cognizance, and happiness are one and the same. This powerful, epistemological, and axiological blend of Brahman in Shankara s logic is unrivaled ever. There is no refinement between knower, information, and known in Brahman, nor any qualification between waking, envisioning, and dozing; cognizance, obviousness and subliminal quality and so forth. Disregarding considering Brahman as past all refinements, Shankara has not taken it to be a nullification. Brahman can be acknowledged by prompt natural learning. Brahman is of the way of joy. Yet, this happiness is simply a protest of understanding. Henceforth by calling Him joy, Brahman does not get to be ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Lisa Hilton What s Wrong With Skinny Essay Walking into the library at most high schools brings to the eye an array of fashion magazines in the front shelves. Most schools acknowledges that fashion has a large audience, but the skinnier and skinnier models have created a large group of people with eating disorders and bad self images. In her article What s Wrong with Skinny? that discusses eating disorders linked to the fashion industry, Lisa Hilton states that women are so pathologically stupid that they are unable to distinguish the fantasy of the runway from the realities of their own bodies . Fashion is something that many girls let influence them into changing how they dress, feel, and eat; the skinnier the models are (or are retouched to look), the more it supports eating ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... For the couture, we had to get up at 4 a.m. to be sewn into the clothes and there was huge pressure to be thin. Models in the fashion industry have been getting thinner and thinner, with runway models being size 0 to size 4 and plus size models being between sizes 6 and 14, and they qualify for anorexia on the charts of eating disorders according to Rader Programs, an organization that helps treat eating disorders. Most models use extreme dieting methods such as eating tissues and lettuce to keep themselves thin. This is encouraged in the industry due to the need to stay thin. Because these dieting techniques work for the models, some teenage girls get the idea that they can do that as well. Anderson and Domenico found that women s magazines had 10.5 times more dieting information than men s magazines, which mainly focus on sex and women s fashion mistakes. Eating disorders have caused major problems in teens starving themselves just to stay unnaturally ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Starting Off With The Gordon Growth Model Starting off with the Gordon Growth Model was developed by Professor Myron Gordon of the University of Toronto. It explains that if any investor is aware of the dividends handed out in a year by any company, and at what rate that dividend will grow, the investor is able to determine the actual value of the stock, which describes what the investor should pay at most for the selected stock issued by the company. (Ozyasar, 2015) The Gordon Growth models inputs are relatively easy to determine. The dividends can be found using any platform or the general news (since they are announced publicly). The investor generally has an idea of the required return he/she demands of a certain stock they are investing in i.e 12%. The problematic issue arises in determining the rate at which a dividend will grow. This is determined through being able to make assumptions on what product will grow in the market or in general which company will grow, which usually makes final results inexact Ozyasar describes. The limitation of the Gordon Growth Model arises when there is no constant growth rate on a stock dividend, which in reality as Ozyasar describes is almost never the case. Despite these limitations the GGM is still a powerful tool used by investors constantly to make decisions on what required return or growth rate would they require for a stock to be favorable and from that an investor determines how to move on with their portfolio. For example Michael Blair discussed the use of the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. The Fate Of The Furious Elisa Hansen April 21, 2017 Introduction The movie that I decided to review was The Fate of the Furious. This is the 8th film in the Fast and the Furious series. I was finally able to see this film on April 21, 2017 at 7 o clock in the evening at The Junction Megaplex theatre in Ogden, Utah. This movie is directed by F Gary Gray and the music editor is Brain Tyler. Dominic Toretto (Dom) and his newly wedded wife Letty are celebrating their honeymoon in Cuba and don t return to the United States. Dom then went into town to get some groceries and discovers a lady named Cipher trying to fix her vehicle. While Dom is looking at what is missing, the lady addresses Dom by his name. At the top of the walls, there were curtains of thick fabrics and layers of material help absorb sound while providing a decorative touch that improves your impression of the establishment as a whole. These curtains were also a charcoal gray color to make the wall took seamless. The stairs were covered in carpet and were lit so that people could see where they were going if they had to leave while the movie was on. There was painted flooring underneath each of the chairs. The chairs were a black leather fabric. There were about 75 chairs that were actually recliners so that you could relax while watching the movie giving the movie theater a homelike feel. When the movie previews started, the lights dimmed to soft yellow lighting. The light came from purple yellow and red lighting structures. Movie theaters are set up this way because they are trying to soundproof, have better acoustics, and make clients comfortable so that the patron would want to come back to another movie. It s all about keeping clientele. If there is none of the listed items, people are less inclined to come back. Description of Musical Style Brian Tyler s musical concept can be described as a straightforward use of simple themes and triadic harmonies. This score however is somewhat distinctive in that the realization of this musical approach makes use of traditional music accented by synthetic timbres and sounds for the added intensity effect. • 6. The Imf ( International Monetary Fund ) The IMF (International Monetary Fund), also known as the Fund, was conceived at a UN conference in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire, United States, in July 1944. The 44 countries at that conference sought to build a framework for economic cooperation to avoid a repetition of the competitive devaluations that had contributed to the Great Depression of the 1930s (https://www.imf.org/external/about.htm). Currently, the organization is headquartered in Washington, D. C. Originally, the IMF was designed to promote economic cooperation internationally and provide short term loans to member countries for the benefit of trade. During the 1980 s, many countries were experiencing a crisis of debt. During this time, The IMF has taken on the role of bailing out countries with loans that have certain conditions attached. These loans are usually referenced as Structural Adjustment Policies (SAPs). In order for a country to get a loan, the policies of the IMF must be followed. Therefore, monetary values can be dictated on education, healthcare, and the environment. In 2010, the country of Greece experienced one of the worst financial crises in modern history. During this time, The IMF wanted to be involved with the financial support package that Greece (and other countries in the Eurozone) would receive. That same year, French President Nikolas Sarkozy stated I will never allow the IMF in Europe (http://www.reuters.com/investigates/special report/imf greece/). Despite this remark, ... • 7. Hip Hop Vs Jazz Music Essay What if someone would make a mash up of the two music genres, jazz and hip hop? Jazz music can date to the early 1900 s but there is no specified founder (www.jazzinamerica.org). Hip hop can also trace back to an approximate start date, but there is not just one creator (Errey 1997). Jazz and hip hop have many similarities along with their numerous differences. Jazz music and hip hop music are both genres of music that have long histories and have lots of similarities and differences, too. First of all, the historical timeline of jazz is very long and complicated, leading to no single founder of the genre. A thick horde of dark bodies frames into circular gatherings maybe five or six hundred people moving so as to the pulsations of the music (www.nytimes.com). This could be an African country or just about everywhere (www.nytimes.com). But, this is New Orleans, The Big Easy (www.nytimes.com). Crazy, right, how diverse this country is? Anyway, this is where some people believe jazz first started. However, this source claims, The city that was the birthplace of jazz was New Orleans...would ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... One difference is that both genres use different instruments. Jazz uses many orchestral instruments, while hip hop, as stated previously, uses mostly computer generated sounds and beats. An example of this is comparing The Sound of Silence and Hotline Bling s instrumental use. The Sound of Silence uses a trumpet while Hotline Bling uses technologically edited sounds. Another difference is the genres birthplaces. Jazz was in the New Orleans area, while hip hop was more near New York City (Kumar 2011). The genres uses of improvisation are starkly different (Kumar 2011). Jazz music usually has one musician who goes off and does an improvised thing as the other musicians keep playing the melody, while in hip hop music, the melody doesn t usually keep playing while the person rapping ... As history can be very influential to a nation, by the way we recall and decipher those history facts that give us a feeling of place and self as a nation. However we should recall how those authentic flashbacks can, and regularly are, controlled for different political influences; because one event history can have a change in the country forever. • 9. The Civil Unrest Of The Handmaid s Tale The Sons Of... Amidst the civil unrest that occurred prior to the beginning of The Handmaid s Tale, the Sons of Jacob were able to establish their theocratic society by executing insidious machinations calculated to control the United States, and thereafter successfully turning it into Gilead. The Sons of Jacob employed several schemes in carrying out their theocracy over Gilead, a substantial part of which shall be discussed in this paper. Perhaps the most important act of the regime in gaining control of the society is the prohibition of reading by most women. They practically blocked the access towards literacy, which the majority enjoyed in the once democratic United States of America. From this, it was clear that the new regime was more ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The answer to the above stated question may seem to be hard, but a careful perusal to the history of Gilead would reveal that the change brought about by the Sons of Jacob was gradual and calculated. It was not done overnight. The terrorist attack brought about panic among the populace. The dazed public, with no leader to govern them, was puzzled at the current state of things and needed equilibrium to restore their respective inner peace. This power vacuum served as the cue for the Sons of Jacob to come in. Their cunning circumvented the wisdom of the public and covered under to veil of restoring peace to America. The population were of course more than willing to benefit from the help being offered by these Christians. The Sons of Jacob were religious in stature, so majority of people believed them, and not to mention the additional motivation of drawing power from them in the time of crisis. With the euphoria of being saviours from such a tragic state, the group was able to slowly exercise control towards the populace by first suspending the power of the Constitution, taking away the right to read (for some), setting a caste system for everyone to follow, among others. Again, the heavy influence of language in society can be seen here since the vessel in proper execution of the multifarious plans of the new leaders had something to do with language (in ... • 10. Macbeth Good Vs Evil Essay Can the evil part of a man overcome his good heart? The Tragedy of Macbeth is a Drama written by William Shakespeare that takes place in Scotland, England. In the story, the main character, Macbeth, kills King Duncan to become King. He is so blind with his evilness that he does not see that his reign of power will come to an end. The theme, good vs. evil, shows one just how quick another can have a change of heart through Macbeth s conflicts with himself, his wife, and the son of the King. To begin with, Macbeth has had internal good vs. evil issues. Macbeth contemplates about killing King Duncan when he says First, as I am his Kinsman and his subject, strong both against the deed; then, as his host, who should against his murderer shut the door, not bear the knife myself. Malcolm is hopeful when he says Tis his main hope, for where there is advantage to be given both more and less have given him the revolt, and none serve with him but constrained things whose hearts are absent too. (Act VI, scn vi, ln 10 14) With this, Malcolm is hopeful because Macbeths men will be in battle physically but not in spirit. After reading the play, the reader realizes how good vs. evil can overturn one another. Macbeth and Lady Macbeths evil plan were stopped by Malcolm. Macbeth ended up dead and Lady Macbeth was so consumed by guilt that she ended up taking her own life. Malcolm became King of Scotland in the end. It was one of those plays that you relate so much with it you enjoy its minimalistic nature, or you find it too typical and boring. I happen to be among the group that found this play to be very appealing. I feel that at many times, little to no scenery and props make it hard to visualize the scene of a play. However, with Our Town the addition of a stage manager to give an explanation of each scene made up for that entirely. The stage manager of the play had to be my absolutely favorite character. I found him witty and expressive. He made his voice emit the right type of sound when articulating his point. Even his facial expressions matched the mood his character was meant to be in. He fit his character so well that if it weren t for him, I wouldn t have enjoyed the play as much as I did. As a whole he was a great actor. He did all the right gestures and made his acting feel so natural. It was like he was having a conversation with the audience. I think the element of his character is what created a connection with the play and myself. Another actor that was suitable for his character was the one who played Howie Newsome, the milkman. His character was very fascinating in how he managed to act along with the sound effects, and was on time. He was very enthusiastic in his scenes. For example, every ... • 13. Evil Is The Devoid Of Good Intentions What is evil? I believe that evil is the devoid of good intentions. Evil can also corrupt an individual and society and evil can cause suffering. Evil is also wicked that causes harm, crime, misfortune, and in some instances war. Throughout this course I have been able to study evil in eastern religions, Hinduism and Buddhism respectively. There representation of evil is far different than my view of evil was before this class. In this paper, I will discuss the evil ideologies of both religions and then choose which ideology that I prefer. Hinduism has a very interesting aspect to evil. I learned this right way though our reading of the Ramayana. The Ramayana is all about two main elements; demons and devotion. Ravana, is a demon Rakshasa and is in love with Sita. Sita is the sister of Rama and is taken by Ravana. Ravana heard that their was a beautiful maiden and he was just in love with the description that he was getting of her. Ravana said that he needs to go and get her. Ravana than comes up with his master plan. He tells Mareecha to disguise himself as a deer and try to lead Rama to chase you into the forest. When Rama runs into the forest Ravana swoops in and takes Sita to Lanka, where Ravana is king (The Ramayana). At this point Ravana has Sita which is good, it is what he wanted there is only one problem. Ravana can not touch Sita because she does not love him. So at this point it is very boring until the big battle. During the big battle between ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The major issues that are brought up in the book are the inequality between the rich and the poor in developed countries but also the comparison between developing countries. The book dives into several factors that are the effects of the inequality ranging from obesity, teenage birth, life expectancy etc.... I would discuss in depth on each of these factors and how they all are key components in society and how they add to the inequality in developed countries. One of the first factors the book brings up is the issue of trust and how it is a main factor in society, trust is what keeps us from not turning on each other and seeing others as cooperative rather than competitive. According to the book trust has fallen from a high 60 percent from 1960 to a low of less than 40 percent in 2004 , this facts gives insight into the society we are living in now. When I read this, I could only think of the mindset many people have now, job security is tight and that everyone is seen as competition. I for one living in America I always have a sense that everyone wants to be on top, and they are willing to do everything to get the job or position, instead of trying to change the way of selfishness, we are adding to it, especially with social media. • 18. The Theories Of Management That Organizations Can Use There are many approaches to management that organizations can use. Managerial theories are based on historical approaches or historical theories. Many organizations use more than one approach that may or may not be effective. Several decades ago researchers were attempting to explain the nature of managing from six different points of view: management process, empirical approach, human behavior, social system, decision theory, and mathematics theory. The organization that I work for, the City of Lilburn, does not use just one approach to management. One of the management approaches that the city uses is the social system approach. Vilfredo Pareto, a sociologist, and Chester Barnard were the pioneers of this theory. Pareto came up with the idea that human relationships were social systems (Koontz, 1980). His work made an impression and influenced Chester Barnard. Barnard, during his study, noticed executives operating in cooperative social systems that he names organizations. Social systems are the cooperative interaction of ideas, forces, desires and thinking of two or more people. This theory later was applied to many groups and cooperatives (Koontz, 1980). With this approach organizations are essentially a cultural system that is composed of people who work in cooperation in order to achieve the organizations goals. Management needs to understand the behavior of people in the groups in order for this approach to be affective. This approach relies on the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 20. Elements Of The Most Dangerous Game And The Most Dangerous... The stories The Most Dangerous Game and The Gift of the Magi are both well written and vivid stories. The Most Dangerous Game is about a hunter who becomes hunted, and The Gift of the Magi is about a married couple trying to find each other gifts for christmas. Both stories have literary elements that move the story along, but in The Most Dangerous Game the elements are used more effectively. In the story, The Most Dangerous Game, two hunters, Whitney and Rainsford, sail past an island with a bad reputation among sailors. Rainsford falls out and swims to shore. A man named Zaroff takes him in for dinner. It turns out that he is a hunter like Rainsford, but his method of hunting is different. Rainsford ends up being hunted by Zaroff and he comes to a very difficult choice. He decides to risk it and jump off a cliff to swim back to shore. The story ends when Rainsford finds his way back and challenges Zaroff. This story portrays many literary elements. One of them is forshadowing. There are two ways that the author, Richard Connell, uses this technique. First off, Whitney says, The world is made up of two classes. The hunters and the huntees. Luckily, you and I are hunters. This foreshadows when Rainsford is going to be in the position of the huntee. Second, he foreshadows the eerie island. The place has a reputation a bad one. says Whitney. • 22. Free-Will Vs Predestination In order to answer the question, How do we reconcile our free will with the sovereignty and determination of God? successfully, we must first define the terms free will and predestination. In reference to the subject of salvation, free will means man s ability to choose the way to salvation or not. Basically, it is man s ability to choose God without God s help. On the other hand, predestination refers to the fact that God has chosen before the foundation of the world those whom He wishes to save and those whom He wishes to condemn. In other words, man is chosen to be saved by God, not for anything that he does, but simply because the Lord has chosen him for His good pleasure. Although it may seem simple at first, this question of free will versus predestination is really not that easy to unravel. First, free will must be further defined in the context of pre Fall, unregenerate, regenerate, and glorified man. Before the Fall, Adam and Eve were perfect image bearers of God. They had the ability to choose to sin and the ability to choose not to sin. In Latin, this state is best known as posse peccare, posse non peccare. Jesus Christ Himself declared, No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day (John 6:44). • 23. Dehumanization In The Beast People The cover of the Broadview Edition of The Island of Doctor Moreau shows someone prying a dog s mouth open with his hands. Perhaps he wants to see the inside of its mouth, remove its sharp teeth, or even make it speak, yet the dog seems to be resisting his effort. This image echoes a few ideas presented in the novel, such as the creation of the Beast People, the torturing of animals, and their bestial nature. In the novel, Moreau refers to the vivisection of animals as a humanizing process (120) because he wants to transform animals into humans. However, the Beast People and undergo an ongoing process of humanization and dehumanization, showing that whatever state they were made for is not permanent. H.G. Wells suggests a definition of humanity through Moreau s philosophy of pain and reasoning, but the dehumanization of the Beast People and humans suggest that this philosophy is not viable. In order to discuss the humanizing and dehumanizing processes, we must first acknowledge Moreau s definition of humanity. In his explanation of vivisection to Prendick, he associates pain with beasts: This store which men and women set on pain, Prendick, is the mark of the beast upon them the mark of the beast from which they came! Pain, pain and pleasure, they are for us only so long as we wriggle in the dust. (127) As long as beasts are motivated by pain, they will always be inferior to men. Moreau also says: Then with men, the more intelligent they become, the more intelligently they will see after their own welfare, and the less they will need the goad to keep them out of danger... And pain gets needless. (127) Moreau s definition of humanity is a creature that is not driven by pain, and uses reasoning to take rational action. In order to rid animals of their bestial nature, he tries to transform their mental structure by superseding old inherent instincts by new suggestions, grafting upon or replacing the inherited fixed ideas (125). On the other hand, he also acknowledges the physical differences of humans and animals, such as a monkey s incapacity to speak due to the lack of a larynx. (125) Through vivisection, he is able to alter animals physical characteristics to resemble humans. In order to create the ideal ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
