Advantages And Disadvantages Of Recycled Aggregates
The recycled aggregates can undergo some processing procedures and adaptation to the desired
characteristics. Some of these processes are: homogenisation, crushing and screening and
autogenous cleaning. The homogenisation process Material aims to standardise and remove waste
materials such as wood, steel, plastics, among others. Initially, construction wasteand demolition are
separated by the predominant color: gray or red. It is then performed quartering, where the material
is distributed in different layers along a plastic and from the middle section, they are divided into
several sections entitled cells. The material is then sent to a crusher where grinding occurs (Kwan,
Ramli, Kam and Sulieman, 2012).

In general, the durability of concrete covers directly on the ease or difficulty of fluid transport
within the concrete, and classified as a concrete or too little permeable. The main transport agent
fluid is water in the concrete, which may be pure or contain aggressive agents, such as dioxide
carbon and oxygen. The displacement of these elements will depend on the concrete structure
hydrated cement paste (Neville, 1997). THE Concrete durability of recycled aggregates also it
depends on the ease or otherwise of transport these fluids. Olorunsogo and Padayachee (2002)
studied properties related to the durability of concrete as the conductivity of chloride ions,
sortividade permeability to oxygen and water, containing percentages of 0%, 50% and 100%
replacement of natural aggregates by recycled. The results showed that the durability decreases
increases in proportion as the percentage of replacement for all properties evaluated. However,
these properties improve with increasing age and with percentages of 50% recycled aggregates in

Factors That Affect A Fluctuation On Interest Rates From...
Methods To enhance the data, I gathered for my research and bring it all together, I conducted
three semi structured interviews to help me uncover a better understanding of what the impact on
a fluctuation in interest rates from the Federal Reserve has on the economy and market in the U.S
and other countries. During this time, I had three participants who donated their time to tell me a
little more about themselves and what they knew about my topic. Participant 1, was a sixty one
year old male whom is a finance professional, as is he also a finance professor at Pace University.

Participant 1 was my number one choice, and once a date and time was scheduled I conducted
the face to face interview that lasted approximately nine minutes. Participant 2 sparked my
interest because of the knowledge I knew he had on the stock market and immediately knew he
would be the perfect fit as one of my interviewees. We had the date and time set for a face to face
interview and it lasted approximately eleven minutes. Participant 3 is very educated and has
experience with the stock market and because of his knowledge I chose him to be my third
interviewee. Participant three was my first phone interview and it lasted around eight minutes.
After completing these three interviews I started my transcribing and coding process. This
process definitely took some time to get used to, actually it s still very complicated. I found
myself keep rewinding back to get all of the exact detail, and everything that was said every few
seconds. My procedure for this was to listen through the whole interview one time to see the
tempo of how the interviewee was talking. I wanted to get used to the sound of his voice and the
dialect he talked with. The second time I listened I would type as much as I could for one
question I asked, and then go back to see what I missed, and keep doing this. As tough as it was I
got through it and it was a great experience. Results The results from the study of the lasting effects

Similarities Between Religion And Religion
Allison Houston
Mr. Corso
Astronomy
12/7/17
For as long as the earth has existed, there has been a war between religion and science. To what
extent do religion and science agree? Can religious and scientific beliefs be conductive or do they
pose an obstacle to each other? Although many argue that science and religion don t coincide, I
believe that they have many similarities with each other and there large sources of evidence that
prove this. One of the largest factors that leads me to believe that religion and science are compatible
is the common goal each of them is trying to achieve. Although Science and Religion use different
methods, they compliment each other in the sense that without going hand and hand they can not
accomplish their end goal which is figuring out the meaning and coming of our existence. Science
explains natural phenomena by a rational formation of a hypothesis, collection of data, testing the
hypothesis against observations or experimental results, and submitting conclusions to a broader
community for further review and testing. Religion is finding meaning and purpose, or explaining
phenomena, by revelation from a personal or supernatural source. What you ... Show more content

Steven Weinberg, a psychiatrist and atheist, said that sometimes natureseems more beautiful than
strictly necessary. Although Weinberg intensely disliked religion he argues that science and
spiritual matter cannot be kept in separate compartments. Although he disagrees with religion,
Weinberg ties science and religion together by seeing that the earth is not just pure science, there
are unexplainable things to the earth and questions as to why nature is beautiful rather than strictly
necessary. Weinberg says that science can help each of us grow up as an individual. Without
religion, science can only explain things to a certain extent and makes the universe seem much more

Anne Bradstreet Tone
It is not a secret that women in the seventeenth century were oppressed. Puritan society deemed
women to be useful mainly within the household. It was very uncommon for women to be
respected as authors or even be educated enough to do so. Anne Bradstreet s The Prologue was a
controversial work for a womanin Puritan society, as it challenged men to share the literary world
with women. Through heavy sarcasm and self deprecation, Bradstreet defends women writers from
the criticism of men. The sarcastic tone of the poem starts right at the first stanza. The speaker
begins the poem by stating that she will not be writingabout wars or kings. She finds that poets and
historians, or rather men, are better equipped to handle such topics than... Show more content on

However, the self deprecating tone she has been carrying is not yet put to rest. She writes, Men
can do best, and Women know it well, which makes the poem a bit less scandalous, but to some
may seem to be thickly laced with sarcasm (37). She tells the readers that men were, by nature,
given the tools to succeed rather than women, yet still manages to demand that men
acknowledge that women are capable writers as well with Yet grant some small
acknowledgement of ours (42). The concluding stanza also attempts to earn women the right to
play the same game as men, while also trying not to make the men feel threatened. Bradstreet
writes that the men can keep the bays of a great poet, her speaker would rather have a wreath
made out of typical cooking spices. This relates back to the domestic duties women were
expected to perform in Puritan society. She tries to make her male readers more accepting with
the final two line of the poem: This mean and unrefined ore of mine/Will make your glist ring
gold but more to shine (47 8). Bradstreet argues that if women were given the same respect in
terms of writing as men, it wouldn t take from the male writers. In fact, it would make the men
seem even more talented than they already are when compared to women

William Shakespeare s Julius Caesar
William Shakepeare s Julius Caesar
Mark Antony proves to be the most skilful politician in the play. Do you agree?
Power is the ability to influence the behaviour of others whether this is achieved with or without
resistance, for good or for bad. Some would go as far as to say that all human behaviour is
propelled by the want of power. One can conclude, however, that power is inevitable in the human
society. It s natural. William Shakespeare s play, Julius Caesar
, is brimming with humans fighting
for power, and the one who stands out as the most skilful of these is not the play s tragic hero
Brutus, but Mark Antony, Caesar s confidant and friend.
During Lupercal, Caesar shows his keen insight by remaking to Antony that Cassius ... Show more

He s also impulsive and unscrupulous, and has no misconceptions on the way the political game is
played, enabling him to see the motives behind men s actions. He is unconcerned with using
unethical means to further his own cause, such as ruthlessly raising taxes. Cassius most significant
characteristic is the one Caesar had observed in him, that is, his ability to perceive the true
motives of men. He uses his sharp insight to deceive Brutus, by means of a long and passionate
argument and fake letters, into joining his conspiracy to assassinate Caesar. He knows that Brutus
noble nature will serve as a catalyst to recruit more nobles into his conspiracy. Ironically, his
success leads to his own decline in influence within the group of conspirators. A costly mistake of
Cassius is his relenting to Brutus, even though he disagrees with most of Brutus decisions, as most
of the tactical decisions that Brutus makes eventually proves disastrous.
Brutus strict moral and ethic code and rigid idealism is both his greatest virtue and his most deadly
flaw, as he assumes a naГЇve view of the world. He doesn t see through the roles played by
Cassius, Casca and Antony, and is unable to recognise the fictitious letters that would tip off a
more perceptive man. In a world of self serving ambition, his qualities are fatal when competing in
public with those who do not have the same moral standards as himself. He repeatedly makes

Plastic Surgery As Bodily Reconstruction For Wounded Soldiers
Plastic surgery began as bodily reconstruction for wounded soldiers in World War I. The surgery
developed in stages, starting with correcting traumatic injuries and deformed facial features. The
more cosmetic focus began in the 1970 s, with creating perfected facial features and making
aesthetically pleasing body parts. Cosmetic surgeryboomed in the 1990 s, with 1.2 million
procedures performed in the United States alone (plasticsurgery.org). The swiftness in which these
procedures have infiltrated society has lead to a change in our view of the value of the body. The
modern ease and accessibility of cosmetic surgery has intensified the need for external beauty and
has influenced the loss of personal identity. Fascination with external... Show more content on

Patients opting for cosmetic surgery have a face in mind and it is usually a celebrity s. In Abby
Ellin s article, several patients got plastic surgery just to look like a certain person. For example, 41
year old Deborah Davenport spent 15,000 dollars on shaving cartilage from her nose, adding
botox to her forehead, and pumping dermal filler into her cheeks to look like Kate Winslet
(Galileo). While Ms. Davenport looked perfectly normal after her procedures, most often than
not, people who get plastic surgery to imitate a celebrity usually end up disastrous. Kevin Fallon
s article mentions Claire Leeson, a woman who spent over 30,000 dollars on surgery to look like
Kim Kardashian. The final result was admittedly dreadful (thedailybeast.com). While Davenport
and Leeson had different results from their celebrity look alike procedures, both claimed to be
much happier after the surgery (Galileo, thedailybeast.com). Even if the face is not what would be
considered actually beautiful, just the fact that the face resembles a celebrity seems to influence the
perception that it is perfect anyway. This fascination and surety that celebrities contain the holy
grail of external beauty reflects upon our certainty that there is a specific standard of beauty, and in
order to fit in, we must perfect ourselves to meet this standard. There is a common belief that
cosmetic surgery exists to make the body better and yet, there also seems to be an underlying notion

A Thrilling and Unusual Love Story by Robert Browning,...
Porphyria s Lover is a thrilling, and rather unusual love story by Robert Browning, given from a
deranged man s perspective. It is the tale of a man who is so infatuated with Porphyria that he
decides to keep her for himself, as if she was a doll or some type of prize. What makes this poem
so interesting is that the only twisted way he feels he can keep her, is by killing her. The poem
uniquely depicts the separation of social classes, feminism, describes how a man overcomes a
rather biased society, and also uses symbolism to represent the Industrial Revolution which was
taking place at the time. In many of his poems, Browning questions the rights and almost seems to
mock the ideas of what women had to be portray in the Victorian era, this is especially present in
his poem Porphyria s Lover . Browning also mentions in the poem what women were meant to
be like at the time, yet he also talks about how some tried to escape from the harsh lifestyle they
lived just like Porphyria. During the Victorian era, the separation of social classes was a major
issue for the society. Different social classes can be (and were by the classes themselves)
distinguished by inequalities in such areas as power, authority, wealth, working and living
conditions, life styles, life span, education, religion, and culture (victorianweb.org). This idea can
be captured in Porphyria s Lover in various aspects. First, Porphyria could be a symbol for the
upper class and the speaker a representation of

The Sweatshop Industry and Child Labour in NIC s
This report is aimed at investigating if the two major TNC s Nike and Gap manufacture their
products according to their code of vendor conduct. Both companies code of vendor conduct clearly
states that no workers are employed under the legal minimum age and sweatshops don t exist in
their factories.
A sweatshop is a factory where employees are subject to extreme exploitation; they work in dreadful
conditions with health and safety hazards, for little pay and long hours. Child labour is, as the word

This excuse hinders outsiders knowing exactly what is happening inside the factory. People didn
t want to tell us about the factories whereabouts either, as they were scared of getting physically
assaulted by the security men surrounding the factory. At last we found a factory called June
Textiles, which manufactured products for both Nike and Gap, but no one would tell us more
than that. Checking treatment of workers here was going to be a huge task. The factory was well
guarded and looked like any ordinary factory from the outside, but at that time we didn t know
what harsh realities workers were facing inside the factory.
We needed to talk to the workers on home turf, away from the security men surrounding the
factory. Late at night we got a call from a couple of workers who said they were prepared to
speak to us, if we met them after their shift, at their home. For them to talk openly about the
conditions in the factory was a big step.
This was the one of our first big surprises, 8 women were living together in a tiny little room
which on a regularly basis had power cuts and was without running water. As we interviewed
them they told us that Nike and Gap treat them as dirt, they work 16 hours a day, which is 112
hours a week. This contradicts with Nike and Gap s code of vendor conduct, which says ВґВґOn a
regularly scheduled basis requires no more than 60 hours of work per

How Television Affected Hollywood
After the golden Age of Hollywood the movie business slowly began to decline. In my last paper
I looked at the Paramount decision and the Hollywood blacklist incident which were some of the
reasons for the dwindling business. Another great development that changed cinematic history was
the invention of the television. In the following essay I will look at the invention of the television,
how it affected Hollywood, some of the ways that Hollywood tried to cope, and the changes of the
production code during this time. According to Jon Lewis in his book American Cinema By 1960
there were 50 million TV sets in homes across the United States (American Film, Lewis, P.235).
This sudden boom in television in homes caused movie goers to drop by over 50% with profits
plummeting accordingly. This sudden dive in profits caused studios to go bankrupt and in the
late fifty s early sixty s buyouts and mergers of film companies was frequent (American Film,
Lewis, P.235 238). Studios were desperate for ideas on how to bring people back to the movies.

hopes for an extended engagement, the Production Code Administration (PCA) officially opened
for business. the PCA vetted, censored, and sealed virtually every Hollywood movie released in the

Lockheed Martin Case 2011

Lockheed Martin is a leading security and defense company based in Bethesda, MD with operations
that span the globe. Lockheed Martin experienced a positive turnaround under new CEO Robert
Stevens leadership, and is now entrenched as a leading competitor in the Aerospace and Defense (A

shareholder value. However, recent issues with contract mismanagement and cost overruns

Efficient buildings, where companies such as Lockheed Martin have converted their buildings to be
efficient in saving energy, which is a way to cut costs in a declining economic environment,
emphasize stewardship of the environment. Europe has enacted a Clean Sky initiative, which is a
large research project with the goal of providing a step in environmentally friendly air transport
technology.
Technology is an important facet in the industry, and therefore has a high emphasis. Cutting edge
technology has driven rising costs for consumers. This also causes R amp;D spending to be fairly
high. Because of this, Defense companies often seek to find commercial use for new technology.
Forecasted Defense trends indicate industry adjustment to reduced government defense spending.
Because companies have overlooked operational efficiency and relied heavily on government
spending, efficiency will now become a focus with decreased spending. Companies will also
attempt to explore new markets, such as Lockheed Martin s secured contract with Israel for future
purchase of F 35 s, as well as entering into related markets to diversify revenues. Increased
competition is expected due to consolidations among smaller companies in an effort to become
more competitive (Thompson).

Jewish Divorce Essay
Although changes have been made to Jewish divorce laws, women are continually being
mistreated when dealing with the issues of divorce. In biblical times, there were no assurances that
women would be protected when faced with a man who wanted a divorce. Furthermore, women
were not allowed to initiate the process by asking for one. As time went on, it was recognized that
women needed to be somewhat shielded from actions that her husband could take, which she had
no control over. Rabbinic law made four major changes to help the plightof women regarding
divorce (Biale p.5).
First, the Halackah requires a Get (bill of divorcement), which limits the possibility of a rash,
thoughtless ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There have been many debates about this clause because the appropriate grounds for divorce are
unclear. Some believe that a man can divorce a woman merely because he likes another one better
(B. p.74). There is no safeguard against this because it is up to the man s judgment. The
requirements of the Ketubah and the Get may not convince the man to stay married.
The fact remains that on the one hand; a wife could not initiate a divorce without appealing to a
Beit Din, and on the other hand may be divorced without her consent. The Talmud states A woman
may be divorced with her consent or without it (B. 81). Rabbenu Gershom made a ruling that
banned the divorcement of a woman without her consent. Although this is a positive legislation, a
Beit Din has the power to revoke it when they deem necessary.
The most problematic law is that while it is not always necessary for a woman to consent to a
divorce, a man can give a divorce with only his full consent (Yevamot 112b) (B. 97). It is then up
to the courts and the community to try to convince him to give his wife a divorce. Many women
have faced this problem of being an Agunah (anchored wife), chained to her husband until he
agrees to a divorce. This problem is even more apparent today while religious morals do not
always prevail over greedy husbands who wish to bribe their wives for monetary gains. There are
too many cases that show husbands refusing

Ethnocentrism in Today s Church
ETHNOCENTRISM IN THE CHURCH TODAY
Introduction
Ethnocentrism is the act of seeing one s ethnic tribe better compared to those of the others. This
stereotype has with time crept into the religious foundation irrepressibly. Currently, the church is
experiencing a wave of ethnocentrism which if not curbed will see a religious waiver. Overall
researches locally and internationally prove that ethnocentrism is an ant to the timber pillar
supporting the church; with time it will eat into it and cause a major downfall.

Indirectly, this vice makes the Christians fail to be the light of the world as God requires of us,
consequently making us sinners. Due to division of church members and split ups over the recent
past caused by ethnocentrism, there has been an impulsive opening of many churches. The split ups
have brought about many mysterious religious denominations that have distorted and biased the
gospel truth. The distortion of the gospel is what has instigated mushrooming of many cult
churches that teach contrary to the word of God. Ethnocentrism has therefore instigated the
existence of false teachings most of which are bound to transform their members into ardent devil
flocks.
As it is the responsibility of the church to oversee events even those that are outside the clerical
premises running successfully, it s of late failing. Henceforth, ethnocentrism of such nature keeps
lagging the nation from completing the political metamorphosis it started since independence.
The Pauline epistles dwell much on the issue of ethnocentrism in the church, since the vice was
present in the early church. In 1st Corinthians chapter 1 4, Paul talks about church divisions and
says that they are a mark of spiritual immaturity. Thus Christians should not be at daggers drawn
with each other but be in harmony and in unity as one body of Christ. Paul goes on to condemn the

The Supply Chain Management System
Supply Chain Management is defined as the oversight of materials, information, and finances as
they move in a course of action from supplier to manufacturer to wholesaler to retailer to consumer.
It includes numerous activities such as coordinating and integrating these flows both within and
amid companies. By directing the supply chain, companies are able to cut excess fat and provide
products faster. This is done by keeping tighter control of internal inventories, internal production,
distribution, sales and the inventories of the company s product purchasers, therefore completing
the objective in a Supply Chain Managementsystem by decreasing inventory. However there are
risks taken by companies as the globalization of their supply chain is paired with concerns about
the quality of products that are made in other countries may not meet regulatory standards, therefore
puts their products in jeopardy of being recalled. This means that supply chain managers are
responsible for ensuring suppliers and their products maintain safety and quality standards. Recalls

As I was reading an article online about Toyota, I realized that Toyota was in a similar situation as
they recalled 7.5 million cars around the world so they can fix faulty power window switches that
can potentially catch a fire. Toyota had issues using the right amount of grease to coat the switches.

Buying Side And Buy Side Engagement At Focus Investment...
Approaches to the Opportunity
The approach taken to both sell side and buy side engagement at FOCUS Investment Banking is a
well defined one. Whilst Project Falcon was concerned with the sale of a CRO, this report will
highlight the process behind both buy and sell side engagements.
Sell Side Process
There are several motives for owners to sell profitable companies. These can include emerging
alternative interests, elderly age and health issues. Alternatively, the sale may be a strategic one in
which they intend to gain credibility in the eye of angels and venture capitalists for further projects.
Sale Types
When engaging is a sell side M A deal there are three ways in which a transaction can be executed.
1. The Negotiated Sale

Furthermore, the target list may omit some potential acquirers who could have bid aggressively
(Sale Processes, 2017).
3. The Confidential Broad Auction
This confidential broad auction approach is the approach that is taken in all deals that FOCUS
Investment Banking represents. This is the most likely scenario for middle market companies as
they lend themselves well to broad and public selling methods. Confidentiality is maintained by
taking a blind outreach approach coupled with confidentiality agreements (Three Types of
Auctions for Sell Side Mergers Acquisitions, n.d). This method will generally bring in a excess of
bidders that will be made up of financial and strategic buyers (Sale Processes, 2017). Therefore,
this process is most effective in a strong merger market such as the CRO market. Nonetheless, a
broad auction may deter potential bidders due to fears of overpaying for a business (Sale Processes,
2017). Furthermore, a broad auction can often consume a substantial amount of management s time
and attention.
Sell Side process at FOCUS Investment Banking
FOCUS Investment Banking has a well defined and methodical execution process for its sell side
deals (Figure 1).

What Is The Moral Of 12 Angry Men In The 1950 s
Twelve Angry Men is a movie that took place in the mid 1950s because of the 2nd world war
which had resulted in a depression of economies in the 1920s 1930s. Around this time the
American society was negotiating the political rights with the challenges facing the Soviet Union
which occurred over a decade. It was a political and economic struggle between the two nations. At
the same time, the nation was entering into an internal struggle; also the Civil Rights Movement
was concerned with hindering racism and promote freedom, respect and equality. This play
however expresses domestic conflict which reflects on the social and political conflict in the
1950s. In Twelve Angry Men individual personality and belief were argued, class conflicts and
philosophical challenges were a problem. However the... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A vote was cast and 11 men voted guilty and 1 men voted innocent. The deliberation then started
and the case was argued because someone s life was placed in their hands. Evidence was brought
to the table such as the knife and there was an exact replicate of the one of a kind knife that was at
the crime scene. The old man who lived in an apartment directly below the teenage boy said he
saw the boy flee the crime scene in 15 second, evidence however proved that the old man could
not have seen the boy flee the crime scene in 15 seconds as said. Additionally a woman across
the street said she saw the young man stab his father with the knife however, logics proved that
the woman was not wearing her glasses at the time of d murder which indicated that her eye sight

young boy being innocent. Eventually the case was at 11:1 of the boy being innocent and it then

Design By Robert Frost An Exam Essay
In the poem amp;#8220;Design ; by Robert Frost, the classic use of the color white, meaning
innocence and purity is turned around. Instead of giving this color to wholesome, pure objects he
gives them to objects that are the reverse, which are death, darkness and unholy objects.
When I read the poem amp;#8220;Design ; I got the feeling that the author did not feel the same as
I do about the color white. The first line talks about a fat white spider. This line contradicts the
reputation that spiders have. When I see a spider, fat or skinny, it is usually black. I hate spiders
and I would not give them the label as innocent or pure because spiders live in a dirty environment.

Frost talks about the spider on a white heal all holding up a dead white moth. A heal all is a
flower traditionally known for its healing capabilities, but in this poem it is acting as a boxing
ring for the spider and the moth. The moth saw a white spider and figured he was of no harm to
him. The spider used his innocent mask to deceive the moth and then the moth being gullible, was
pounced on by the spider. The deceiving spider then held up the moth for the entire world to see.
The moth is also commonly thought of a gross bug, but they are not harmful. The innocent little
moth was tricked and it cost its life.
I feel that there is a deeper meaning in Frost amp;#8217;s poem. I think he is telling us that any
color can have any meaning. He refers to the spider as being amp;#8220;snow dropped ; which
tells the readers that the spider is innocent. The innocence that this spider has is similar to the
innocence of a toddler who smacks his younger sibling and runs away and immediately begins to
do another activity. The toddler is trying to show that he or she was doing something else and was
no way involved with the incident that took place. The toddler is not doing this because he has a
guilty conscience but because he is trying to escape punishment. The idea behind the spider being
white is that the reader is supposed to look at it and think that that spider couldn amp;#8217;t have
killed

The Effects Of Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors
Introduction
Feeling empty, hopeless and pessimistic, overwhelmed with guilt and irritability, a loss of
interest in activities and fatigue, these are all symptoms of being a teenager, or perhaps an
indication of a greater issue; childhood depression (Kazdin, 2006). Childhood depression has
estimates of a 1 year prevalence as high as 2.5% in children and 8.3% in adolescence (Valnuck,
Libby, Sills, Giese, Allen, 2004). This is a tragic suffering experienced by many youths, but in
1987 there was the introduction of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI s). At first glance,
antidepressants may seem to be the answer to a parent of a depressed child s prayers, however
they are accompanied by a terrifying potential side effect (Isacsson, Holmgren, Ahlner, 2005). In
2004 the US FDA issued an advisory warning stating that antidepressant use in youth patients may
be linked to an increase in suicidal behavior (US Food and Drug Administration, 2004). Following
this warning there have been many studies conducted to examine the validity of this black box
caution, and mixed findings have arose. When taking this possibility into consideration, and
remembering that not all pharmacotherapy will result in suicide in adolescence, an important
question to evaluate is whether or not there is sufficient evidence to support the increased
prevalence of suicide among adolescence who use SSRI s, and if this risk is outweighed by the
potential benefits for the use of antidepressants,

Superstring Theories
My interests in physics surround the central theme of developing a unified description of the
fundamental laws of the universe that is based on underlying symmetries and devoid of free,
dimensionless parameters. Superstring theories are one class of theory that endeavours to provide
such a description. My graduate research has included projects in both theoretical developments
using type IIB supergravity (SUGRA), as well as its application via the AdS/CFT correspondence.
A string theory description of a standard model type theory is only made possible by the intro

We showed that including backreacting D3 branes in warped compactifications did not produce
divergences in the effective action and so represented a consistent theory from dimensional
reduction. Due to the self duality of the five form field strength (i.e. F5 = ⋆F5), we were able
to describe the D3 brane compensators in terms of either electric like charge sources via d ⋆
F5 = ⋆Je with dF5 = 0, or magnetic like charge sources via dF5 = ⋆Jm with d ⋆ F5 = 0. We
further showed that other moduli of warped compactifications, such as the universal volume
modulus and its associated axion considered in [5], could be recast in terms of electric or magnetic
descriptions similar to the D3 branes.
In ongoing work with A. Frey, I am continuing to develop the description of monopole like
sources in extra dimensions. As an application, we consider a magnetic monopole in Minkowski
spacetime. By writing the field strength as the sum of a local source term plus a global total
derivative, we are able to derive the magnetic analogue of the Lorentz force law without the need of
non physical dual potentials.
One of the most widely recognized results to come from string theory is the gauge/gravity cor
respondence [6]. The most famous AdS/CFT duality is between classical gravitation in AdS5Г—S5
and a superYang Mills SU(N) gauge theory living on the conformal boundary of AdS5. However,

Analysis Of Killings By Andre Dubus
Families are one of the most important things in life. We have parents, kids, crazy uncles, and
weird cousins, but that doesn t change how it would feel to lose one of them. In the short story
Killings, Richard Strout kills Frank Fowler and then suddenly disappears. Matt Fowler, Frank s
father, is suspected of murdering Richard and hiding all the evidence. After losing his son, Matt
and his family grieved over the loss of their loved one wanted to see Richard Strout where he
belonged, or at least out of sight. Although the story doesn t reveal what happens to Matt Fowler
after Richard Strout is dead, all the evidence, Matt s PGD, his thirst for revenge, and how he
believes the system has failed him when Richard was able to walk free, makes him guilty of killing
Richard Strout.
In Killings, Andre Dubus writes about the events just leading up to Richard Strout s
disappearance. Matt Fowler was happily married and had three children. One of his sons, Frank
Fowler, entered into a relationship with a woman named Mary Ann Strout, who was in the
process of getting a divorced with Richard Strout. Once Richard found out about his wife and
Frank, he killed Frank out of anger. He was then arrested and then got on bail. Matt Fowler and
the rest of his family were not too pleased to see their loved one s murderer was walking free.
Matt was getting drinks at his friends, Willis, restaurant one night and found out where Strout
works. So they sat outside his work and waited for him to come

Development Of Generic Product And Approval
Generally, an ANDA sponsor of the topical dermatological product has to undergo multiple
review cycles with the FDA before the product gets approved and the sponsor has to wait for a
longer time mostly. Even though the ICH CTD, ICH Q8 describes the generation of product
development report, it is not still clear to ANDA sponsors how this actually applies. As a result,
more internal meetings and discussions between the sponsors and the FDA delays the product
approval. One of the ways to overcome these challenges is to have a product development report
with verified and justified specifications based on the QbD efforts which can help the Office of
Generic Drugs (OGD) to be efficient in understanding the developed generic product and approval

The foremost criteria in developing a generic topical dermatological product is to meet the
pharmaceutical and therapeutic equivalency of the RLD. A therapeutic equivalence is the one
which has the same clinical effect and safety profile as given in the label of the RLD and a
pharmaceutical equivalence is the one which contains identical amount of same active ingredient
corresponding to the same route of administration in the same dosage form with similar
mechanism of release and similar rate and extent of the absorption of the RLD. The current
paradigm to get an approval by an ANDA sponsor is by proving the therapeutic equivalence to the
RLD by testing whereas the proposed QbD approach requires the sponsors to meet the equivalence
on the basis of defined design targets. More specifically, a well defined rational approach behind
each testing is required for proving the pharmaceutical equivalence and bioequivalence [18].
When talking about the design of equivalence of a generic dermatological topical product, the
criteria for Q1 and Q2. Additionally, in some cases, the Q3 criteria has to be satisfied in addition
to Q1 and Q2 Topical solutions can be stated as an example for Q3. The Q1, Q2 and Q3 may not
be a feasible option if the patent of the RLD is considerably protected. In such cases, the generic

Cultural Consideration Paper
Cultural Consideration Western generational models can not be applied broadly to a global
workforce. (Erickson, 2011, p. 1) The events that shaped the generations in the United States did
not necessarily happen around the world. Other countries and cultures have had their own
monolithic events to shape their beliefs and character. While events such as World War II did
happen globally, not every country was involve in that war and did not have the same experience
as say people in the United Kingdom and United States might have had. The potential exception to
this rule is the proposed Generation Y and Millennials who have globally had access to the same
information due to increasing availability of technology. In a recent email report... Show more

As new employees come in to an organization there should be a uniform way to impart
information to help the individual assimilate to the corporate culture as quickly as possible. In
an effort to gain consistency this usually means that people come in and get a crash course on
systems and logistics. Traditionalist may prefer a mentor with similar ideals. Baby Boomers
may want a structured training session. Generation Xers may prefer an online training class and
Millennials might prefer something in a group setting so they can start building relationships.
So how does a corporation efficiently and effectively offer all of these options? They usually can
not separately, but components of each can be integrated into an onboarding and development
plan so that all people are receiving the key information in a way that they best assimilate such
information. Situational Leadership Situational Leadership was a model originally developed
by Paul Hersey and Ken Blanchard to effectively assess what each person needs from leadership

the same model but it still stands that it works and can be applied to any person of any age with
any task. The key is that the leader has to be perceptive and fluid in leadership styles. One of the

Norman Bates Schizophrenia
The Film, Psycho directed by Alfred Hitchcock, effectively presented the ideas of murder and
schizophrenia through the use of characters, particularly with the double sided Norman Bates.
Sound and visual techniques were also depicted quite well. Murder and schizophrenia were vividly
interpreted in the movie Psychothrough the use of characters. The character of Norman Bateswas the
central character in the filmand had a complex and differing personality. One moment he was shy,
kind, lonely Norman Bates, a mother s boy, and the next he was a deadly jealous Mrs. Bates, his
deceased mother. This change of personalities was because he was affected by schizophrenia, and

Long before we find out about Norman s split personality, we see glimpses of a darker side.
When Norman has dinner with Marion, he leans forwards as he speaks about putting his mother
in an institution. The lighting of his face at an angle to illuminate the area around his eyes but
casting a shadow on the rest of his face, creates a sinister, weird look, that hints at his true
character. While we see this view of Norman, the background shifts to a more fierce looking bird
on the wall. Another visual technique used in the movie was the actual casting of the character
Norman. A fairly small, slim man was used to portray a weak looking man who could pull off
the mother s boy role realistically. Norman looks incapable of large amounts of strength as well
as a character wise, unable to kill a person, let alone be a serial killer. The shower scene was a
very good visual example of how the idea of schizophrenic murder was successfully dealt with in
the film. The shower scene showed Marion Crane, a young woman who had just been subtly
persuaded by Norman to repent of her recent crime, and so was washing herself physically and
symbolically in the shower. Washing away her sin and guilt, because in the morning she would
own up to her crime, pay for it, and start again, guilt free. This worked well to add greater
emphasis on the shower scene, because at this turning point in the plot we see she has made a
good decision to set things right. It is almost unbelievable that Marion could be murdered at this
high point. Nonetheless, the film goes on with her murder, which is a very shocking sequence
because it happens quickly; as the knife stabs Marion, we see the figure of Mrs. Bates a figure in a
dress with a woman s hat on. We are led to assume it is Mrs. Bates, and we are given a big surprise
at the end when we find out it was actually Norman wearing her dress. The

A Summary Of Truman Vote By Truman Capote
Although Truman Capote writes this narrative to tell about a murder, he must first describe and
enhance the victims to elaborate on their history; therefore, Capote enhances just how senseless
crimes can be.
Capotes tactic is driven by his empathy towards the event of the wronging that took place at the
Clutters house, he utilizes amplification to magnify how senseless the true crime was and to
describe the significance. Capote was much more focused on the development of the characters. He
draws the audience s attention to the Clutter family, specifically their positive characteristics
especially Nancy Clutter, Where she found the time, and still managed to practically run that big

When that victim replied, Yes, the shooter walked away. Subsequent investigations determined
Harris and Klebold chose their victims randomly, and the two teens originally had intended to

now allow medical marijuana in one form or another to treat patients for a plethora of illnesses. As
the laws become more lenient, the opportunities to study and understand exactly how cannabinoids

The Importance Of Creativity Within Classroom Instruction...
This article helped me to understand the importance of including creativity within classroom
instruction and the author did an excellent job at describing one way to do so. The author was all
about using the inquiry based learning. The author explained this type of learning in a way that I
could see myself using it within my classroom. Although the author is an advocate for using
inquiry learning within science classes I could see myself using this type of learning within other
areas of instruction as well. If I would use inquiry based learning within language arts or math it
would still encourage creativity because the students would still be taking responsibility for their
own learning.
Additionally, this article explains in detail the history and use for standardized testing. The idea of
these tests have hindered the use of creativity within the classrooms a substantial amount. The
author argues that this is a great problem within today s education because the teachers are no
longer including creative instruction but rather the teachers are teaching to the test to the students
score high because teacher s jobs are at risk if students do not show great growth within the
achievement gap. This is why the author suggests teaching with an inquiry approach. By using an
inquiry approach within the classroom the teacher can still include preparation for the standardized
tests but the students are still being creative with their findings and problem solving more on their
own. The

is important as the fairy s play a large role in propelling the plot forward to its conclusion. The
fairies are derived from characters familiar to English folklore and are some of the most
memorable characters in Shakespeare s Midsummers Night s Dream. Shakespeare uses poetic
imagery as a way to develop the fairies characters as a group and to grant to audience greater
understanding of the play. For example when the writer of this play writes in the words of a fairy:

In William Shakespeare s play Midsummer Night s Dream the author uses numerous allusions to
grant the audience greater comprehension. Specifically the author does this by using allusions to
Greek mythology. An allusion is a reference to something that is not directly mentioned in the
text but can be inferred. An example of an allusion on this play in act two scene one is as
follows: The wildest hath not such a heart as you/Run when you will, the story shall be changed
/Apollo flies, and Daphne holds the chase/The dove pursues the griffin; the mild hind/Makes
speed to catch the tiger; bootless speed/When cowardice pursues and valor flies/ . This allusion
speaks to the chase of life; it speaks about Apollo who takes his chariot from the beginning to the
end of the day caring the sun across the horizon. Also, it references the magical species of the
griffin and chase that the dove participates in with the griffin all with speed and all for a

Ratio Analysis Paper
Ratio Analysis Paper
Ratios describe the various relationships among accounts in the balance sheet and income
statement. Financial ratios are important and helpful gauges of how an organization is functioning.
An organization s financial health, potential revenue, and even possible bankruptcy can be garnered
from financial ratios. Information derived from financial statements is used to calculate most ratios
and make projections. Ratios help investors and lenders determine the risk associated with lending
or investing funds in an organization (GE Financial Healthcare Services, 2003, para 1). According
to Finkler and Ward (2006), the key to interpretation of ratios is benchmarks. Without a basis for
comparison, it is ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The trend shows steady growth over the past three years, which is promising for increased growth
into the future. The benchmark for this ratio is the goal set by the board or a comparison to industry
peers. Increases in tuition or student enrollment will increase the earned income potential for The
Children s Home, thus raising the self sufficiency ratio for the organization. This could also
augment any decreases in government aide.
Expense Ratios
Personnel Costs Ratio Costs related to staffing generally take up the largest portion of the budget.
Adjustments to staffing percentages are easily seen in the budget. Formula: Total wages, taxes and
benefit expense / Total expenses = Personnel costs ratio.
FS 2010: $1,639,564 / $14,904,356 = 0.11 or 11%
FS 2009: $1,446,010 / $14,584,770 = 0.09 or 9%
FS 2008: $1,199,759 / $12,678,305 = 0.09 or 9% The Children s Home maintains a low
personnel costs ratio. The trend over the last three years shows a steady staffing percentage with a
slight growth. The benchmark for this ratio is set by the board or is by comparison to industry
peers. This organization should take note of the fact that, when this ratio is low, there is little room
for staff alterations in the face of financial crisis.

bodies frequently check and assess for changes over time. Formula: Total

Epicurus s Notion Of The Good Life
In my opinion, it is not so easy to agree with everything that Epicurus mentions about his notion
of the good life . For the most part, I like the rational that a simple life is a happy life and I
believe that is the message he is trying to convey. Epicurus says thanks be to blessed nature
because she has made what is necessary easy to supply, and what is not easy unnecessary . I like
the philosophy that all the good things in life are free. Sometimes in life, we as people forget
that we just need the basics to be happy. One of my favorite portions of the text in section 6 is the
disturbance of the soul cannot be ended nor true joy created either by the possession of the
greatest wealth or by honor and respect in the eyes of the mob or

Miranda vs. Arizona Essay
Miranda vs. Arizona:
This case had to do with an Ernest Miranda who raped a Patty McGee*. After extracting a written
confession from the rapist about the situation, Miranda s lawyer argued that it was not valid since
the Phoenix Police Department failed to read Miranda his rights, also in violation of the Sixth
Amendment which is the right to counsel. Some factors that helped support Miranda s arguments
were that the suspect had requested and been denied an opportunity to consult with a lawyer; the
suspect had not been effectively warned about his right to remain silent; and an incriminating
statement must have been given by the suspect. The author of the Arizona court s decision, former
U.S. Senator and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
That day, the justices honed in on the Fifth Amendment aspects of the case, which pleased John
Flynn to no end. The last man to present a position in the case before the court was Thurgood
Marshall, whose personal opinions were diametrically opposed to the position of his employer, the
U.S. government.
Once the arguments were done, there was nothing left to do but wait as the justices debated the
issue among themselves and issued a written opinion, probably in four or five months. The
traditional process called for the justices to listen to oral arguments on Monday through Thursday,
then to take preliminary votes and assign opinion authorships during a private meeting again
attended only by the justices on Friday. Based on the political makeup of the Supreme Court in the
spring of 1966, it was widely speculated that a majority would come down in some form on the
side of Ernest Miranda.
In the decision, Flynn, Frank and especially Ernest Miranda won hands down.
The prosecution may not use statements, whether exculpatory or inculpatory, stemming from
questioning initiated by law enforcement officers after a person has been taken into custody or

Essay on Serial Killer Richard Ramirez
Serial Killer Richard Ramirez
Crescendo of Terror
Late in the 20th Century, Hell glutted on humanity. Its first bloodletting of that season of the Devil
occurred on the warm evening of June 28, 1984, when an earth bound Lucifer found his way into
the small Glassel Park apartment of 79 year old Jennie
Vincow. Throughout the Los Angeles area a damp humidity had oppressed the air that day, and
when the evening came and the temperature slightly cooled, Jennie left her window open to invite
what little breeze there might be into her flat. Like a fallen leaf, decayed and tossed from its
source, a fallen angel, dark, angry and also decaying, blew across the sill of that open window.
When the demon departed through that same ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The demon vanished just as quickly as he had appeared. The police were stumped.
All they knew of him was what Hernandez was able to tell them: He was tall, gaunt, dark, maybe
Hispanic.
This time, the killer didn t wait nearly a year to murder again. He struck within the hour. His next
victim that same evening was petite
Taiwanese born Tsai Lian Yu, who, driving her yellow Chevrolet down North Alhambra Avenue in
nearby Monterey Park, withered when someone with the eyes of a madman forced his way into her
car and shot her. He had thrown his own car into idle, simply entered hers, pushed her onto the
pavement, called her bitch, then blew her into eternity at point blank range.
Fast. Neat. Clean.
Then dematerialized into the darkness from whence he came.
Child s play.
The police were beginning to realize they might have a problem on their hands, but they remained
stumped. Eyewitnesses who thought they had seen the killer described him as tall, gaunt, dark,
maybe
Hispanic.
Ten days later, this elusive phantom whose physical description could fit any one of thousands of
males in the Greater Los Angeles area required more blood. This time, shooting his prey didn t
quite satisfy the urge; the demon must have been hungry, he must have been frantic, for when he
entered the home of the sleeping Zazzara couple, he produced a bloodbath.

Content Based Information Retrieval (CBIR) is the field that constitutes representation of images,
organizing and searching of images based on their content rather than annotations of image. CBIR,
also known as query by image content and content based visual information retrieval (CBVIR) is
the application of computer vision techniques to the image retrieval problem, that is, the matter of
checking out digital pictures in massive databases.
Content based implies that the search analyzes the contents of the image based not on keywords,
descriptions related to image, tags or annotations but based on features extracted directly from the

Images with higher similarity than threshold are returned as an output. System which uses the
content of the object for Information Retrieval is the CBIR.
There are many applications of Content Based Information Retrieval. Image retrieval is one of the
applications of CBIR. Few applications of CBIR are art collections, architectural and engineering
design, crime prevention, Defense, Face detection etc. Mostly CBIR is applied on the Multimedia
data.
CBIR faces some problems. The trouble with the technique is the issue of high dimensionality. With
the increase in the dimensionality CBIR becomes time consuming system and highly computation
bound. Also with variety of applications of CBIR, there is need to preserve the privacy of user
interest.
A. Need of the Privacy Preservation in CBIR
Privacy can be outlined as The quality of being secluded from the presence or view of others . In
CBIR user provides some Multimedia object (e.g. an image of trademark to check whether the

process system must realize the similarity between user query and objects in the database. At this
time system gets the user query and query reveals the content and interest of the user and here is
the privacy leak in the system. Here the original trademark can be compromised or can be copied.

The Life and Poetry of Bret Harte
Authors, a lot of them surround us today, they are the person who enhances our imagination, or
gives existence to anything that is plain and different. In American history, there were a number of
poets and authors who rose to popularity. They changed people s outlook on everything, and added
a great amount of different things in American literature. Throughout this time, there were a couple
of great poets and authors who helped create the local color school in American fiction. One poet
who helped in this movement was Bret Harte.
Bret Harte, an American author and poet, was born on August 25, 1836 in Albany, New York. His
father, Henry Harte, and mother, Elizabeth Ostrander, both worked as teachers. His full name was

With no recourse, he went to San Francisco where he found a job as a typesetter. It was also here
where he shared short stories and poems for the journal, the Golden Era. While working here, he
started signing his works as Bret or The Bohemian. His life at this stage was somewhat a repeat
of what his childhood was, living measly, since he was only receiving a small amount of income.
Harte was very much against racism, and these feelings gave him reason to write poems entitled
as Plain Language from Truthful James . Even though he considered this to be the worst poems
I ever wrote , it got a different response from the people around the world: they loved it! The
poems had a negative outcome because it started a racial turmoil in California against the
Chinese. However, in time, he learned how to please the readers by giving them what they wanted
to read and not what they needed to read. Before, racism was a huge issue, nobody liked other
races because then do not have the same color of skin. People always wanted to have a higher
authority over the others, the whites were considered the powerful authority at that time. In 1860,
he started writing stories with the theme of Escape and Illusions. He was considered a very talented
humorist because he can turn a completely boring thing in to something everyone would enjoy.
With his talent in writing, he won national acclaim and from then on,

The Four Noble Truths Essay
The Four Noble Truths One of the most important sharing in the Buddha s first sermon is the Four
Noble Truths. The First Noble Truth is the truth of duhkha that life is dissatisfactory. The Buddha
explained it from four aspects physical changing, mental emotional process, unpleasant things, and
not processing the things one wants. The Second Noble Truth illustrates the cause of duhkha. It
seems that craving is the cause of all sufferings. Actually, it is the idea of selfness which produces
ignorance, the first constituent of the twelve nidhana, and leads to craving and thirst. The Third
Noble Truth demonstrates the cessation of unsatisfactory state. According to the twelve nidhana,
removing ignorance will eliminate craving and finally cease... Show more content on

Buddha explained it from three aspects. First of all, we can t prevent the changing condition of
physical life. We can t stop from growing old, can t get rid of getting sick, and can t control dying
or giving birth in the six realms. The physical changing itself already lets people down. Lack of
ability to manage the physical changing makes us even more unsatisfied about lives. The
second point is that we can t get permanent happiness. Although no one will deny that we feel
happy sometimes, all pleasure we get will not last forever. For example, during the time I
applied for universities and colleges for undergraduate study, I was so happy when I received
the offer from UNC. But, one month later, I can t feel the same level of happiness as the day I
saw the congratulations on the letter. We always believe that we will get lasting happiness after
we realize something, however, we won t. Therefore, the gap between what we want and what we
actually get causes the dissatisfactoriness. The last aspect is that personal and social duhkha are
caused by changing states of human. If one has the negative emotions like angry, hatred, greed, and
delusion, he or she will project these personal feelings to family and friends, and even cause war,
political repression or other social turbulences. All three points demonstrate that life is
dissatisfactory, which is exactly the truth of

Factors Affecting Access For Complementary Therapies
Factors Affecting Access to Complementary Therapies
Introduction:
There are many reasons why individuals may not be using complementary therapies, even though
they may benefit from using them. I am going to highlight some of these factors and explain how
each might be a barrier to accessing complementary therapies.
Knowledge:
Knowledge and lack of knowledge can have a major influence on whether individuals use
complementary therapies. For example; people may have heard negative stories about certain
therapies such as acupuncture, aromatherapy or massage. This negativity may implement fear of
using these therapies. Lack of knowledge may also case negative feelings, for example; individuals
may have never heard of certain therapies before that are now available in their local area. Some
might know about the therapy, but do not understand the benefits of using it.
In some cases, individuals may want to use a complementary therapy but may not know where
therapists are located. For example; if an elderly person did not have the internet, they would not
be able to search for clinics online. Thus, unless they already knew where to go, they would not
know how to find it, hence they could not access the service.
Lack of provision:
If there are not many places for complementary therapies in the area, it may be difficult to get an
appointment with a therapist due to high demand. This can cause service users to become frustrated
and impatient when they try to make an appointment.

The Impact Of The Gnostic Movement On The Way Of Looking...
Historically, man has developed a number of ways of looking at the world, using either theoretical
models or empirical demonstrations to unearth the truth behind the unknown. Whilst positivist
scientific theory tries to explain the world around us, theology, unlike the scientific method, relies
on a greater degree of theoretical and explanatory approaches, rather than focusing on purely
practical evidence. For this reason, relying on purely theoretical foundations attracted a range of
diverging opinions and conclusions within the early Christian Church, as various participants
tended to adhere to their own views based on their grounded beliefs. The Gnostic movement can be
linked to the early Christian movement; however, many of the elements are not associated with the
current practises of Christianity. However, the underlying belief in a single and absolute higher
power remains. In this essay, I will argue that Gnosticism was originally a key factor in the
Christian movement, which in turn contributed to the spread of Christianity throughout the world,
yet it does not necessarily define the modern view of Christianity, particularly so with regard to the
modern missionary movement as compared with the early missions of Christ s followers.
Gnosticism was originally the practise of surrendering oneself to a supreme deity and involved
shunning the material world. These ideas had their roots in gnosis, a belief that there is a divine
power through which humans could be redeemed

How Does Psoriasis Affect The Human Body
Several people suffer from psoriasis, a chronic, incurable disease of the immune system that
causes scaly, itchy patches to form on the skin. My father is one of them. As a child, I didn t

Afterward, I would watch my father unsuccessfully try different steroids, creams, and extracts,
wondering how each medication affected his body and skin condition. This seed of interest
eventually blossomed into an insatiable curiosity of how disease interacts with the human body.

Light In The Forest Johnny Tremain Analysis
Compare and Contrast Essay Rough Draft The Light in the Forest, by Conrad Richter, and
Johnny Tremain, by Esther Forbes, are two incredibly distinct novels, each with their own
similarities and differences when compared to one another. True Son, the protagonist in Light in
the Forest, is a fifteen year old boy raised by a tribe of Delaware Indians for the past eleven years
of his life. Though he is biologically American, he wholeheartedly considers himself a full blooded
Indian. This not only creates turmoil when he is forcibly moved to his biological white family but
causes True Son confusion when he is forced to choose between not only his two families but his
two other identities as well. On the other hand, Johnny Tremain, the protagonist in the novel Johnny
Tremain, faces a completely different situation for he is a fourteen year old boy living in colonial
Boston. He is at first entirely self centered and arrogant due to his prodigious gifts as a silversmith
apprentice. However, when an unfortunate injury results in him having a crippled hand, this
destroys any chance of him being an adequate silversmith. He faces humiliation but through many
struggles and difficulties transforms into a patriotic man. Through analyzing the two novels, there
were many similarities and differences found. Similarities include the difficult journey they both
encounter as well as their similar behavior. On the contrary, both individuals differ through their
race and how they were brought up. Both True Son and Johnny Tremain desire to stay in a
comfortable setting. They greatly enjoy their life and make no wish to change it. And yet, both
characters were forced to face hardships which ultimately changes both their situation as well as
their perspectives in life. For instance, Johnny Tremain had a comfortable position in life. He was
widely considered the most talented young silversmith in Boston. Though he was egotistic, he
was destined for a bright future. Regrettably, when molten silver disfigured his hand he lost his
chance at ever becoming a silversmith and can no longer find skilled work. Filled with self pity
and despair, he almost turns to a life of crime. Only his friendships and new job with a Whig

  • 2. Advantages And Disadvantages Of Recycled Aggregates The recycled aggregates can undergo some processing procedures and adaptation to the desired characteristics. Some of these processes are: homogenisation, crushing and screening and autogenous cleaning. The homogenisation process Material aims to standardise and remove waste materials such as wood, steel, plastics, among others. Initially, construction wasteand demolition are separated by the predominant color: gray or red. It is then performed quartering, where the material is distributed in different layers along a plastic and from the middle section, they are divided into several sections entitled cells. The material is then sent to a crusher where grinding occurs (Kwan, Ramli, Kam and Sulieman, 2012). The crushing and screening aimed ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In general, the durability of concrete covers directly on the ease or difficulty of fluid transport within the concrete, and classified as a concrete or too little permeable. The main transport agent fluid is water in the concrete, which may be pure or contain aggressive agents, such as dioxide carbon and oxygen. The displacement of these elements will depend on the concrete structure hydrated cement paste (Neville, 1997). THE Concrete durability of recycled aggregates also it depends on the ease or otherwise of transport these fluids. Olorunsogo and Padayachee (2002) studied properties related to the durability of concrete as the conductivity of chloride ions, sortividade permeability to oxygen and water, containing percentages of 0%, 50% and 100% replacement of natural aggregates by recycled. The results showed that the durability decreases increases in proportion as the percentage of replacement for all properties evaluated. • 3. Factors That Affect A Fluctuation On Interest Rates From... Methods To enhance the data, I gathered for my research and bring it all together, I conducted three semi structured interviews to help me uncover a better understanding of what the impact on a fluctuation in interest rates from the Federal Reserve has on the economy and market in the U.S and other countries. During this time, I had three participants who donated their time to tell me a little more about themselves and what they knew about my topic. Participant 1, was a sixty one year old male whom is a finance professional, as is he also a finance professor at Pace University. The knowledge he provided to me was very educational and helped me understand a little more about the missing information I needed to obtain from my literature... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Participant 1 was my number one choice, and once a date and time was scheduled I conducted the face to face interview that lasted approximately nine minutes. Participant 2 sparked my interest because of the knowledge I knew he had on the stock market and immediately knew he would be the perfect fit as one of my interviewees. We had the date and time set for a face to face interview and it lasted approximately eleven minutes. Participant 3 is very educated and has experience with the stock market and because of his knowledge I chose him to be my third interviewee. Participant three was my first phone interview and it lasted around eight minutes. After completing these three interviews I started my transcribing and coding process. This process definitely took some time to get used to, actually it s still very complicated. I found myself keep rewinding back to get all of the exact detail, and everything that was said every few seconds. My procedure for this was to listen through the whole interview one time to see the tempo of how the interviewee was talking. I wanted to get used to the sound of his voice and the dialect he talked with. The second time I listened I would type as much as I could for one question I asked, and then go back to see what I missed, and keep doing this. As tough as it was I got through it and it was a great experience. Results The results from the study of the lasting effects a ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Similarities Between Religion And Religion Allison Houston Mr. Corso Astronomy 12/7/17 For as long as the earth has existed, there has been a war between religion and science. To what extent do religion and science agree? Can religious and scientific beliefs be conductive or do they pose an obstacle to each other? Although many argue that science and religion don t coincide, I believe that they have many similarities with each other and there large sources of evidence that prove this. One of the largest factors that leads me to believe that religion and science are compatible is the common goal each of them is trying to achieve. Although Science and Religion use different methods, they compliment each other in the sense that without going hand and hand they can not accomplish their end goal which is figuring out the meaning and coming of our existence. Science explains natural phenomena by a rational formation of a hypothesis, collection of data, testing the hypothesis against observations or experimental results, and submitting conclusions to a broader community for further review and testing. Religion is finding meaning and purpose, or explaining phenomena, by revelation from a personal or supernatural source. What you ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Steven Weinberg, a psychiatrist and atheist, said that sometimes natureseems more beautiful than strictly necessary. Although Weinberg intensely disliked religion he argues that science and spiritual matter cannot be kept in separate compartments. Although he disagrees with religion, Weinberg ties science and religion together by seeing that the earth is not just pure science, there are unexplainable things to the earth and questions as to why nature is beautiful rather than strictly necessary. Weinberg says that science can help each of us grow up as an individual. Without religion, science can only explain things to a certain extent and makes the universe seem much more confusing and ... • 5. Anne Bradstreet Tone It is not a secret that women in the seventeenth century were oppressed. Puritan society deemed women to be useful mainly within the household. It was very uncommon for women to be respected as authors or even be educated enough to do so. Anne Bradstreet s The Prologue was a controversial work for a womanin Puritan society, as it challenged men to share the literary world with women. Through heavy sarcasm and self deprecation, Bradstreet defends women writers from the criticism of men. The sarcastic tone of the poem starts right at the first stanza. The speaker begins the poem by stating that she will not be writingabout wars or kings. She finds that poets and historians, or rather men, are better equipped to handle such topics than... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... However, the self deprecating tone she has been carrying is not yet put to rest. She writes, Men can do best, and Women know it well, which makes the poem a bit less scandalous, but to some may seem to be thickly laced with sarcasm (37). She tells the readers that men were, by nature, given the tools to succeed rather than women, yet still manages to demand that men acknowledge that women are capable writers as well with Yet grant some small acknowledgement of ours (42). The concluding stanza also attempts to earn women the right to play the same game as men, while also trying not to make the men feel threatened. Bradstreet writes that the men can keep the bays of a great poet, her speaker would rather have a wreath made out of typical cooking spices. This relates back to the domestic duties women were expected to perform in Puritan society. She tries to make her male readers more accepting with the final two line of the poem: This mean and unrefined ore of mine/Will make your glist ring gold but more to shine (47 8). Bradstreet argues that if women were given the same respect in terms of writing as men, it wouldn t take from the male writers. In fact, it would make the men seem even more talented than they already are when compared to women ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 6. William Shakespeare s Julius Caesar William Shakepeare s Julius Caesar Mark Antony proves to be the most skilful politician in the play. Do you agree? Power is the ability to influence the behaviour of others whether this is achieved with or without resistance, for good or for bad. Some would go as far as to say that all human behaviour is propelled by the want of power. One can conclude, however, that power is inevitable in the human society. It s natural. William Shakespeare s play, Julius Caesar , is brimming with humans fighting for power, and the one who stands out as the most skilful of these is not the play s tragic hero Brutus, but Mark Antony, Caesar s confidant and friend. During Lupercal, Caesar shows his keen insight by remaking to Antony that Cassius ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... He s also impulsive and unscrupulous, and has no misconceptions on the way the political game is played, enabling him to see the motives behind men s actions. He is unconcerned with using unethical means to further his own cause, such as ruthlessly raising taxes. Cassius most significant characteristic is the one Caesar had observed in him, that is, his ability to perceive the true motives of men. He uses his sharp insight to deceive Brutus, by means of a long and passionate argument and fake letters, into joining his conspiracy to assassinate Caesar. He knows that Brutus noble nature will serve as a catalyst to recruit more nobles into his conspiracy. Ironically, his success leads to his own decline in influence within the group of conspirators. A costly mistake of Cassius is his relenting to Brutus, even though he disagrees with most of Brutus decisions, as most of the tactical decisions that Brutus makes eventually proves disastrous. Brutus strict moral and ethic code and rigid idealism is both his greatest virtue and his most deadly flaw, as he assumes a naГЇve view of the world. He doesn t see through the roles played by Cassius, Casca and Antony, and is unable to recognise the fictitious letters that would tip off a more perceptive man. In a world of self serving ambition, his qualities are fatal when competing in public with those who do not have the same moral standards as himself. He repeatedly makes ... • 7. Plastic Surgery As Bodily Reconstruction For Wounded Soldiers Plastic surgery began as bodily reconstruction for wounded soldiers in World War I. The surgery developed in stages, starting with correcting traumatic injuries and deformed facial features. The more cosmetic focus began in the 1970 s, with creating perfected facial features and making aesthetically pleasing body parts. Cosmetic surgeryboomed in the 1990 s, with 1.2 million procedures performed in the United States alone (plasticsurgery.org). The swiftness in which these procedures have infiltrated society has lead to a change in our view of the value of the body. The modern ease and accessibility of cosmetic surgery has intensified the need for external beauty and has influenced the loss of personal identity. Fascination with external... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Patients opting for cosmetic surgery have a face in mind and it is usually a celebrity s. In Abby Ellin s article, several patients got plastic surgery just to look like a certain person. For example, 41 year old Deborah Davenport spent 15,000 dollars on shaving cartilage from her nose, adding botox to her forehead, and pumping dermal filler into her cheeks to look like Kate Winslet (Galileo). While Ms. Davenport looked perfectly normal after her procedures, most often than not, people who get plastic surgery to imitate a celebrity usually end up disastrous. Kevin Fallon s article mentions Claire Leeson, a woman who spent over 30,000 dollars on surgery to look like Kim Kardashian. The final result was admittedly dreadful (thedailybeast.com). While Davenport and Leeson had different results from their celebrity look alike procedures, both claimed to be much happier after the surgery (Galileo, thedailybeast.com). Even if the face is not what would be considered actually beautiful, just the fact that the face resembles a celebrity seems to influence the perception that it is perfect anyway. This fascination and surety that celebrities contain the holy grail of external beauty reflects upon our certainty that there is a specific standard of beauty, and in order to fit in, we must perfect ourselves to meet this standard. There is a common belief that cosmetic surgery exists to make the body better and yet, there also seems to be an underlying notion that ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 8. A Thrilling and Unusual Love Story by Robert Browning,... Porphyria s Lover is a thrilling, and rather unusual love story by Robert Browning, given from a deranged man s perspective. It is the tale of a man who is so infatuated with Porphyria that he decides to keep her for himself, as if she was a doll or some type of prize. What makes this poem so interesting is that the only twisted way he feels he can keep her, is by killing her. The poem uniquely depicts the separation of social classes, feminism, describes how a man overcomes a rather biased society, and also uses symbolism to represent the Industrial Revolution which was taking place at the time. In many of his poems, Browning questions the rights and almost seems to mock the ideas of what women had to be portray in the Victorian era, this is especially present in his poem Porphyria s Lover . Browning also mentions in the poem what women were meant to be like at the time, yet he also talks about how some tried to escape from the harsh lifestyle they lived just like Porphyria. During the Victorian era, the separation of social classes was a major issue for the society. Different social classes can be (and were by the classes themselves) distinguished by inequalities in such areas as power, authority, wealth, working and living conditions, life styles, life span, education, religion, and culture (victorianweb.org). This idea can be captured in Porphyria s Lover in various aspects. First, Porphyria could be a symbol for the upper class and the speaker a representation of ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The Sweatshop Industry and Child Labour in NIC s Essay The Sweatshop Industry and Child Labour in NIC s This report is aimed at investigating if the two major TNC s Nike and Gap manufacture their products according to their code of vendor conduct. A sweatshop is a factory where employees are subject to extreme exploitation; they work in dreadful conditions with health and safety hazards, for little pay and long hours. At last we found a factory called June Textiles, which manufactured products for both Nike and Gap, but no one would tell us more than that. Checking treatment of workers here was going to be a huge task. The factory was well guarded and looked like any ordinary factory from the outside, but at that time we didn t know what harsh realities workers were facing inside the factory. We needed to talk to the workers on home turf, away from the security men surrounding the factory. Late at night we got a call from a couple of workers who said they were prepared to speak to us, if we met them after their shift, at their home. For them to talk openly about the conditions in the factory was a big step. This was the one of our first big surprises, 8 women were living together in a tiny little room which on a regularly basis had power cuts and was without running water. • 11. How Television Affected Hollywood After the golden Age of Hollywood the movie business slowly began to decline. In my last paper I looked at the Paramount decision and the Hollywood blacklist incident which were some of the reasons for the dwindling business. Another great development that changed cinematic history was the invention of the television. In the following essay I will look at the invention of the television, how it affected Hollywood, some of the ways that Hollywood tried to cope, and the changes of the production code during this time. According to Jon Lewis in his book American Cinema By 1960 there were 50 million TV sets in homes across the United States (American Film, Lewis, P.235). This sudden boom in television in homes caused movie goers to drop by over 50% with profits plummeting accordingly. This sudden dive in profits caused studios to go bankrupt and in the late fifty s early sixty s buyouts and mergers of film companies was frequent (American Film, Lewis, P.235 238). In biblical times, there were no assurances that women would be protected when faced with a man who wanted a divorce. Furthermore, women were not allowed to initiate the process by asking for one. As time went on, it was recognized that women needed to be somewhat shielded from actions that her husband could take, which she had no control over. There have been many debates about this clause because the appropriate grounds for divorce are unclear. Some believe that a man can divorce a woman merely because he likes another one better (B. p.74). There is no safeguard against this because it is up to the man s judgment. The requirements of the Ketubah and the Get may not convince the man to stay married. The fact remains that on the one hand; a wife could not initiate a divorce without appealing to a Beit Din, and on the other hand may be divorced without her consent. The Talmud states A woman may be divorced with her consent or without it (B. 81). Rabbenu Gershom made a ruling that banned the divorcement of a woman without her consent. Although this is a positive legislation, a Beit Din has the power to revoke it when they deem necessary. The most problematic law is that while it is not always necessary for a woman to consent to a divorce, a man can give a divorce with only his full consent (Yevamot 112b) (B. 97). It is then up to the courts and the community to try to convince him to give his wife a divorce. Many women have faced this problem of being an Agunah (anchored wife), chained to her husband until he agrees to a divorce. Due to division of church members and split ups over the recent past caused by ethnocentrism, there has been an impulsive opening of many churches. The split ups have brought about many mysterious religious denominations that have distorted and biased the gospel truth. The distortion of the gospel is what has instigated mushrooming of many cult churches that teach contrary to the word of God. Ethnocentrism has therefore instigated the existence of false teachings most of which are bound to transform their members into ardent devil flocks. As it is the responsibility of the church to oversee events even those that are outside the clerical premises running successfully, it s of late failing. Henceforth, ethnocentrism of such nature keeps lagging the nation from completing the political metamorphosis it started since independence. The Pauline epistles dwell much on the issue of ethnocentrism in the church, since the vice was present in the early church. The Supply Chain Management System Supply Chain Management is defined as the oversight of materials, information, and finances as they move in a course of action from supplier to manufacturer to wholesaler to retailer to consumer. It includes numerous activities such as coordinating and integrating these flows both within and amid companies. By directing the supply chain, companies are able to cut excess fat and provide products faster. This is done by keeping tighter control of internal inventories, internal production, distribution, sales and the inventories of the company s product purchasers, therefore completing the objective in a Supply Chain Managementsystem by decreasing inventory. However there are risks taken by companies as the globalization of their supply chain is paired with concerns about the quality of products that are made in other countries may not meet regulatory standards, therefore puts their products in jeopardy of being recalled. When I read the poem amp;#8220;Design ; I got the feeling that the author did not feel the same as I do about the color white. The first line talks about a fat white spider. A heal all is a flower traditionally known for its healing capabilities, but in this poem it is acting as a boxing ring for the spider and the moth. The deceiving spider then held up the moth for the entire world to see. The moth is also commonly thought of a gross bug, but they are not harmful. The innocence that this spider has is similar to the innocence of a toddler who smacks his younger sibling and runs away and immediately begins to do another activity. The Effects Of Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors Introduction Feeling empty, hopeless and pessimistic, overwhelmed with guilt and irritability, a loss of interest in activities and fatigue, these are all symptoms of being a teenager, or perhaps an indication of a greater issue; childhood depression (Kazdin, 2006). Childhood depression has estimates of a 1 year prevalence as high as 2.5% in children and 8.3% in adolescence (Valnuck, Libby, Sills, Giese, Allen, 2004). This is a tragic suffering experienced by many youths, but in 1987 there was the introduction of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI s). At first glance, antidepressants may seem to be the answer to a parent of a depressed child s prayers, however they are accompanied by a terrifying potential side effect (Isacsson, Holmgren, Ahlner, 2005). In 2004 the US FDA issued an advisory warning stating that antidepressant use in youth patients may be linked to an increase in suicidal behavior (US Food and Drug Administration, 2004). Following this warning there have been many studies conducted to examine the validity of this black box caution, and mixed findings have arose. When taking this possibility into consideration, and remembering that not all pharmacotherapy will result in suicide in adolescence, an important question to evaluate is whether or not there is sufficient evidence to support the increased prevalence of suicide among adolescence who use SSRI s, and if this risk is outweighed by the potential benefits for the use of antidepressants, ... We showed that including backreacting D3 branes in warped compactifications did not produce divergences in the effective action and so represented a consistent theory from dimensional reduction. Due to the self duality of the five form field strength (i.e. F5 = ⋆F5), we were able to describe the D3 brane compensators in terms of either electric like charge sources via d ⋆ F5 = ⋆Je with dF5 = 0, or magnetic like charge sources via dF5 = ⋆Jm with d ⋆ F5 = 0. We further showed that other moduli of warped compactifications, such as the universal volume modulus and its associated axion considered in [5], could be recast in terms of electric or magnetic descriptions similar to the D3 branes. Situational Leadership Situational Leadership was a model originally developed by Paul Hersey and Ken Blanchard to effectively assess what each person needs from leadership on each task. (Hersey, 2004) Dr. Hersey and Blanchard parted ways and put their own spin on the same model but it still stands that it works and can be applied to any person of any age with any task. • 28. Norman Bates Schizophrenia The Film, Psycho directed by Alfred Hitchcock, effectively presented the ideas of murder and schizophrenia through the use of characters, particularly with the double sided Norman Bates. Sound and visual techniques were also depicted quite well. Murder and schizophrenia were vividly interpreted in the movie Psychothrough the use of characters. The character of Norman Bateswas the central character in the filmand had a complex and differing personality. One moment he was shy, kind, lonely Norman Bates, a mother s boy, and the next he was a deadly jealous Mrs. Bates, his deceased mother. Long before we find out about Norman s split personality, we see glimpses of a darker side. When Norman has dinner with Marion, he leans forwards as he speaks about putting his mother in an institution. The lighting of his face at an angle to illuminate the area around his eyes but casting a shadow on the rest of his face, creates a sinister, weird look, that hints at his true character. While we see this view of Norman, the background shifts to a more fierce looking bird on the wall. Another visual technique used in the movie was the actual casting of the character Norman. A fairly small, slim man was used to portray a weak looking man who could pull off the mother s boy role realistically. Norman looks incapable of large amounts of strength as well as a character wise, unable to kill a person, let alone be a serial killer. The shower scene was a very good visual example of how the idea of schizophrenic murder was successfully dealt with in the film. The shower scene showed Marion Crane, a young woman who had just been subtly persuaded by Norman to repent of her recent crime, and so was washing herself physically and symbolically in the shower. Washing away her sin and guilt, because in the morning she would own up to her crime, pay for it, and start again, guilt free. This worked well to add greater emphasis on the shower scene, because at this turning point in the plot we see she has made a good decision to set things right. It is almost unbelievable that Marion could be murdered at this high point. Nonetheless, the film goes on with her murder, which is a very shocking sequence because it happens quickly; as the knife stabs Marion, we see the figure of Mrs. Bates a figure in a dress with a woman s hat on. We are led to assume it is Mrs. Bates, and we are given a big surprise at the end when we find out it was actually Norman wearing her dress. The ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Although the author is an advocate for using inquiry learning within science classes I could see myself using this type of learning within other areas of instruction as well. If I would use inquiry based learning within language arts or math it would still encourage creativity because the students would still be taking responsibility for their own learning. Additionally, this article explains in detail the history and use for standardized testing. The idea of these tests have hindered the use of creativity within the classrooms a substantial amount. The author argues that this is a great problem within today s education because the teachers are no longer including creative instruction but rather the teachers are teaching to the test to the students score high because teacher s jobs are at risk if students do not show great growth within the achievement gap. The Second Noble Truth illustrates the cause of duhkha. It seems that craving is the cause of all sufferings. We can t stop from growing old, can t get rid of getting sick, and can t control dying or giving birth in the six realms. The physical changing itself already lets people down. Lack of ability to manage the physical changing makes us even more unsatisfied about lives. The second point is that we can t get permanent happiness. Factors Affecting Access For Complementary Therapies Factors Affecting Access to Complementary Therapies Introduction: There are many reasons why individuals may not be using complementary therapies, even though they may benefit from using them. I am going to highlight some of these factors and explain how each might be a barrier to accessing complementary therapies. Knowledge: Knowledge and lack of knowledge can have a major influence on whether individuals use complementary therapies. For example; people may have heard negative stories about certain therapies such as acupuncture, aromatherapy or massage. This negativity may implement fear of using these therapies. Lack of knowledge may also case negative feelings, for example; individuals may have never heard of certain therapies before that are now available in their local area. Some might know about the therapy, but do not understand the benefits of using it. In some cases, individuals may want to use a complementary therapy but may not know where therapists are located. For example; if an elderly person did not have the internet, they would not be able to search for clinics online. Thus, unless they already knew where to go, they would not know how to find it, hence they could not access the service. • 49. The Impact Of The Gnostic Movement On The Way Of Looking... Historically, man has developed a number of ways of looking at the world, using either theoretical models or empirical demonstrations to unearth the truth behind the unknown. Whilst positivist scientific theory tries to explain the world around us, theology, unlike the scientific method, relies on a greater degree of theoretical and explanatory approaches, rather than focusing on purely practical evidence. For this reason, relying on purely theoretical foundations attracted a range of diverging opinions and conclusions within the early Christian Church, as various participants tended to adhere to their own views based on their grounded beliefs. The Gnostic movement can be linked to the early Christian movement; however, many of the elements are not associated with the current practises of Christianity. However, the underlying belief in a single and absolute higher power remains. In this essay, I will argue that Gnosticism was originally a key factor in the Christian movement, which in turn contributed to the spread of Christianity throughout the world, yet it does not necessarily define the modern view of Christianity, particularly so with regard to the modern missionary movement as compared with the early missions of Christ s followers. These ideas had their roots in gnosis, a belief that there is a divine power through which humans could be redeemed ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 51. Light In The Forest Johnny Tremain Analysis Compare and Contrast Essay Rough Draft The Light in the Forest, by Conrad Richter, and Johnny Tremain, by Esther Forbes, are two incredibly distinct novels, each with their own similarities and differences when compared to one another. True Son, the protagonist in Light in the Forest, is a fifteen year old boy raised by a tribe of Delaware Indians for the past eleven years of his life. Though he is biologically American, he wholeheartedly considers himself a full blooded Indian. This not only creates turmoil when he is forcibly moved to his biological white family but causes True Son confusion when he is forced to choose between not only his two families but his two other identities as well. On the other hand, Johnny Tremain, the protagonist in the novel Johnny Tremain, faces a completely different situation for he is a fourteen year old boy living in colonial Boston. He is at first entirely self centered and arrogant due to his prodigious gifts as a silversmith apprentice. However, when an unfortunate injury results in him having a crippled hand, this destroys any chance of him being an adequate silversmith. He faces humiliation but through many struggles and difficulties transforms into a patriotic man. Through analyzing the two novels, there were many similarities and differences found. Similarities include the difficult journey they both encounter as well as their similar behavior. On the contrary, both individuals differ through their race and how they were brought up. Both True Son and Johnny Tremain desire to stay in a comfortable setting. They greatly enjoy their life and make no wish to change it. And yet, both characters were forced to face hardships which ultimately changes both their situation as well as their perspectives in life. For instance, Johnny Tremain had a comfortable position in life. He was widely considered the most talented young silversmith in Boston. Though he was egotistic, he was destined for a bright future. Regrettably, when molten silver disfigured his hand he lost his chance at ever becoming a silversmith and can no longer find skilled work. Filled with self pity and despair, he almost turns to a life of crime. Only his friendships and new job with a Whig newspaper company ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
