high rates of depression among stroke caregivers (Han Haley, 1999), especially
among stoke survivor with aphasia (Draper et al, 2007). Draper et al attribute the
additional caregiverburden to communication difficulties experienced by individuals
with aphasia.
It is know that caregivers experience financial, health and significant alterations in
their social lives. The caregivers experienced high levels of burden (McCullagh,
2005), emotional distress(Berg et al, 2005) and adverse effects on family
relationships(Anderson, 1995). In this study, we further examine the impact of giving
care by looking into the emotion and functional domain of the caregiver.
The findings are consistent with the claims that close caregivers tend to experience
emotional stress (Servaes, Draper, Conroy, and Bowring, 1999). Caregivers exhibit
feelings of anxiety, anger, guilt, depression, frustration, loneliness and other
emotional problems (Anderson, 1995; Draper et.al.,2007; Luterman, D., 2008).
Through the interview, caregivers expressed most concern over over dependency of
care recipient and they were distressed about the future of individuals with aphasia.

Abstract
Corporate governance is a key element in improving the economic efficiency of a
bank. It should be fair and transparent to its customers and stakeholders in all its
transactions. A sound corporate governance also contributes to the protection of
depositors of the bank. It also involves the manner in which the business and affairs
of banks are governed by their board of directors and senior management, which
reflects how they function. This paper is descriptive in nature conferred about the
composition of the board of directors in the Public sector commercial banks. The
finding of this paper exemplify that the Public sector commercial banks have Fit and
Proper board in their respective banks.
