Description Of The Movie Nope
Luna awoke to a loud thud. She got out of her bed, worried about what she might see.
She went to the door, carefully opening it keeping her horn ready. On the other side of the door was
the last thing she expected to see. She saw a mailmare.
I have a letter for you, the mare said.
Thank you Luna grabbed the letter with her magic. Do you have any idea who sent it.
Nope. Some pony gave me this on the street and told me to give it to you; that s all I know.
Are you sure you can t remember anything about the pony who gave you this? Luna pointed at the
letter.
Yes, I m sure. I wasn t exactly paying much attention when she hoofed it to me. I m, sorry princess.
It s fine. Luna thanked the mare again and closed the door. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

She completely forgot about the country, and she had pushed any thought it far out of her memory
until that moment. It was a blemish on her past. The country got her banished by her own sister and
now. Now the country was calling her to be its leader.
Her first thought was to tell Celestia right away. She needed to find out what her sister thought of it
the proposal, but then she started having second thoughts. Celestia would never allow her return to go
back there. Why would she ever let her return? It had destroyed their friendship. There was no way
she could tell Celestia about this.
At the same time, Celestia was her sister, and Luna couldn t let something as important as this go
untold. It was a terrible conundrum. She felt like neither solution was right.
It also crossed her mind that she could ignore the letter completely, but what if the ponies needed her.
They went all the way to Equestria to send a letter to her. Luna couldn t leave those ponies out to dry.
Luna weighed the odds. She could tell her sister about the letter, but that could reopen past wounds, or
she could ignore the letter and forget she ever got it. If she ignored it Celestia would eventually find
out.
Finally, she decided she would have to talk to her sister eventually, and decided to go ahead and get it
over with.
She went to Celestia s room. She prepared herself for a hard conversation. There was no way Celestia
would take the news lightly.

Allegory Of Plato s Cave
The allegory of the cave by Plato is a theory concerning human perception. The point of the theory is
to distinguish between two types of people. People who mistake sensory knowledge for the truth and
people who really do see the truth. The slaves are taken into a cave and chained down and the
experiment begins. Plato s cave can be confusing at first but once it is considered and researched it
starts to become clear. Today there are many different stories that are very alike to the allegory of
Plato s cave. One of these stories is the movie The Matrix. The allegory of the cave by Plato is a
theory concerning human perception. It begins with a cave. In this cave, there are three prisoners tied
to some rocks. The arms and legs are bound and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
One of these movies is The Matrix. The movie starts out with a man named Thomas Anderson. You
may know him better as Keanu Reeves in a trench coat. Thomas Anderson goes by the persona Neo,
which is his world class hacker name. He is contacted by Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne) and Trinity
(Carrie Anne Moss). Morpheus tells him that his world isn t what he thought it was. What he s known
as reality is merely a computer program. This program is called the Matrix. Then Neo is offered a
choice: a red pill, which will allow him to discover what the Matrix is, or the blue pill, which will
make him fall back into the illusion of the Matrix like nothing happened. Of course, he chooses the
red pill because otherwise the movie would have been boring as hell. Neo then finds himself aware of
the real world for the first time. When he wakes up he is startled to find that he is hooked up to a
machine connected by wires coming out of holes in his body. Plus, he was surrounded by thousands of
others who were still sleeping . We find out that Neo is the one and he must save the world, but then
things get ugly. Before the can get out of the matrix one of their crew members named Cypher (Joe
Pantoliano) betrayed them and told the secret agent bad guys that they were there. They capture
Morpheus and Neo and Trinity must fight back to rescue him. They rescue Morpheus and they get out

Islam and Christianity Comparative Religious Study
Islam and Christianity are significantly different religions with its followers holding many opposing
views and theories. Therefore, most find it somewhat challenging to acknowledge any common
morals or similarities between Christianity and Islam. Through the comparative study of these two
religions, one can identify such similarities and differences. Comparative religion is the examination
of different religions and how they relate to one another. It is becoming a large factor in present day
discourse mainly because diverse, pious groups are having closer contact both individually and
collectively (McGuigan). The goal of comparative religion is to train individuals to critically think
about the cultural, social, historical, and intellectual circumstances within religious relationships.
Although Christianity and Islam are considered different religions, one must fully understand each to
recognize the many commonalities they do, in fact, share.
Christians and Muslims beliefs tend to resemble up to the point of Abraham. After Abraham, the ideas
and theories start changing. In the Bible, Abraham was the son of Terah. God told Abraham that his
descendants would grow and become slaves of a great nation, but then shall come out of that land with

Australia Advert Analysis Essay
BIAA Submission It s time for gen nbn!
Good advertising does not just circulate information, it penetrates the public mind with desires and
belief, stated William Bill Bernbach one of the most creative advertising directors of his time.
Advertising is when a person or organisation make an announcement through the various forms of
media which is intended to influence the choices of others, whereby it attempts to inform, appeal and
persuade their targeted audience. However, countless ads enter the market that are partially ineffective
or completely ineffective and in turn can end up being detrimental to both the product and company s
image. One such advertisement that fits under this banner is NBN Co. s latest Australia Day
Campaign, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It has an almost equal focus on all these elements employing a diverse range of characters and emotive
use of technological imagery. The dynamic appeal of the future , the central aspect to this ad, was
presented specifically by the modes of logos and ethos. They successfully attempted this by presenting
a varied range of people who all seemed to be intelligent and possess high authoritative abilities
created by their character s job persona, whether that be a scientist or a neurologist. These paid actors
really made the ad seem much more credible and well as appealing to the ethics of the audience
because these people have first hand experience with the product, making their recommendations of
joining a generation that s moving us forward the most reliable and trustworthy testimonial of anyone
on the market. The actors have also used the power of the product to get people on board the
bandwagon and join the widely accepted revolution before it s too late, employing tactics to build trust
in both the company and the product. In addition to this this ad has also used pathos to target their
audience by using emotional imagery and psychological metaphors. From images with parents
celebrating with their young children to ethnic and gender equal societies to successful space
launches, the ad really has an ideal of positivity, making the most out of the emotional imagery
allowing the audience to be susceptible to the lies the NBN were broadcasting. Specifically, in this ad
the NBN has tried extremely hard to elicit the emotion of hope in its viewers, attempting to instil this
via the futuristic imagery, so that audience has something to look forward to, giving them the desire
for this better future and new generation that would encourage both cultural

Essay on Motorola Digital Strategy
Introduction
Motorola was first founded in 1928, making battery eliminators for household radios. In 1929 the
company designed and manufactured and car radios, then a new concept, and subsequent sales kept
the company afloat during the Great Depression of the 30s.
During the Second World War Motorola developed the Handie Talkie SCR536 handheld radio
transmitter and receiver, and icon of that conflict, and forefather of the mobile phone. In the 1970s,
together with AT T, Motorola started developing cellular networks, and in 1980 the company released
the world s first mobile phone, the DynaTAC phone. From then on the company because a household

Television Commercials Lazy Phone
Another notable marketing efforts was Motorola s Lazy Phone series of adverts. These television
commercials, which were also later uploaded on YouTube, featured five different everyday scenarios
and how lazy smartphones don t improve user experience. The Nav with Touchless Control
commercial portrays a driver, in the middle of nowhere, that s running low on gas, and emphasizes the
benefits of Touchless voice control over fumbling with one s phone while driving.
The campaigns created a new image for Motorola, and were aimed at very specific markets. The Moto
X and Moto G were aimed at people between 16 and 30 years of age, modern folks with a hipster ish
aesthetic looking for products that were an extension of their lives and themselves. Motorola also gave
itself a youthful, quirky, yet cutting edge aesthetic, one that s in stark contrast with the likes of
Samsung or HTC.
Online Social Media
Exploiting social media s various customer engagement and advertising opportunities, Motorola
maintains an active presence on various sites. Whilst every network has its own peculiarities and
features, a common theme that seems to run throughout all of Motorola s pages is the emphasis on
colour and the customization capabilities of its

Comparison Between Solo And Mount Franklin
Solo and mount franklin, there both refreshing drinks, mount franklin is a spring water drink and solo
is a lemonade type drink (Soft drink.) One is a healthy drink and the other is an unhealthy drink but
tastes better. Spring water is made by natural water and manufactured into a bottle so it comes out
spring water. Solo was made in the 1984 s and had a catchy slogan, The ultimate thirst crusher. Solo
also used The SOLO MAN so that people know that he drank solo and was a huge athlete, Mount
franklin always uses a celebrity in their ads so people look at the ad because it s somebody they know
and like. Mount Franklin also like to use sex appeals, to demonstrate when Jennifer Hawkins was
grabbing the bottle of water she was in a bikini and the are changed from a jungle over to a beach.
Solo targeted the people that are thirsty and want something to drink that will crush their thirst. They
used it showing a person going through a marathon, doing so much physical work and then drinking
the solo drink. The main contention of the solo ad was to get people that where thirsty to kick back
and relax and drink a bit of solo. The intention for solo was buy this drink and you ll taste greatness
along with no more thirst. The contention for mount franklin was the spring water was refreshing and

brakes down any thirst you have. The only thing different between these two ads is that one uses sex
appeals and celebrity s and the other one uses strength and amazing athleticism to show off their ad.

Analysis Report On Management Accounting System
A management accounting system collects accounting information and converts the information to an
analysis report in order to help managers make correct decisions and let stakeholders fully understand
how the company runs. In another word, the main purpose of the management accounting system is
assessing the company s performance with the help of different measurements. Thus, management
accounting system reform should be closely linked to performance measurement. The most traditional
way to measure company s performance is comparing the historical financial figures. However, such
measure has been challenged by both academics and practitioners as the dysfunction consequences in
assessing rewards for managers and issues in capturing customer quality have been recognized. Under
this competitive environment, one traditional performance measurement may not be good enough to
fit all the businesses. In order to help businesses measure their performance accurately, the
innovations and changes may take place when designing and adopting the management accounting
system. Focusing on innovations and changes part firstly, two major schools were introduced to
companies. They are the stakeholder approach and shareholder approach, respectively. According to
the stakeholder approach, the competition on many dimensions will let the companies realize that they

To What Extent Did the Nazis Achieve the Aims of Their...
From 1933 to 1939 Hitler aimed to achieve a social revolution in Germany. He aimed to achieve such
social policies within the Youth and Women but particularly through his concept of
volksgemeinschaft, meaning people s community, he hoped to transform Germany into a strong
country based on traditional peasant values. David Schoenbaum has argued that Hitler s social
revolution was a fake, and perceived as being real, due to the influence of Hitler s propaganda. Hitler
effectively aimed to unify the people into a united classless racial community and introduce a degree
of loyalty to Hitler and the Nazi Party. In addition to this, Hitler, through domestic social policy and
propaganda, aimed to change the role of women in society such ... Show more content on

Many of the ways the Nazis enforced the Volksgemeinschaft was effective, because citizens were
reporting suspicious behavior and enemies of the state were being purged from civil service positions.
The implementation of Volksgemeinschaft was largely effective, but also had unintended
consequences and backlash that proved it also party ineffective, whether it was suspicion reports
getting out of control or youths rebelling against the Hitler Youth in order to seek a more open culture.
Hitler had initiated changes that insisted women should return to their traditional roles as homemakers
and provide healthy offspring to the Nazi state. Childbearing was encouraged in Germany, however
this was only acceptable to the Aryans not the Jews. Hitler implemented policies such as financial
incentive marriage loans and special medals were given to women who gave birth to large families.
He also made divorce difficult, abortion and contraception illegal in order to achieve his objective
effectively. Also, women‚ organizations were created to indoctrinate women with Nazi ideas such as,
The German Women‚ Enterprise. These programs promoted cookery classes, marriage, motherhood
and nationhood. The women organizations have had a major effect on Nazi women as it portrayed that
Hitler made effective changes in order to develop women to be the mothers of a future, healthy
generation. Hitler disliked clever, educated

Analysis of The Film Lone Survivor
Based on a true story, the movie Lone Survivor features four Navy SEALs that set out on a mission to
Afghanistan with orders to capture and kill Taliban leader Ahmad Shah. The Navy SEALS are
detected by villagers and the mission was compromised. Ultimately, the mission had been discovered
and the men found themselves surrounded by dozens of Taliban soldiers. One of the Navy SEAL
soldiers managed to dispatch to base and retrieve assistance but the Taliban shoot down the helicopter.

The second scene of socializing is when the SEAL team introduces new members into the group. In
the movie, character Shane Patton recited a pledge to the former Navy SEALs that expresses the
mission statement that Navy SEALs live by. If a new member is able to cite this mission statement it
shows a lot about the individual s character and becoming part of the elite team. An example of social
interaction seen in the film is found mid way through the film. AAfghan village live by the
Pakhtunwali code, meaning if anyone from that village takes in an individual that community will
fight tell the death for that person. In Marcus Luttrell s case this afghan villagers took him in and
cared for his wellbeing. Senior Taliban leader found out that the village was protecting him and tried
bribing the community with money to give up the soldier. The village s spiritual values helped to keep
Marcus Luttrell alive and send him back to the United States. In this part of the film it is interesting to
see the diversity in Afghanistan and the different views the people live by. Some will go out of their
way to protect someone they have never met before. Mohannad Gulab, the person who saved Luttrell
has a very close relationship with him. Although there is a language Barrier between the two, both say
they can still understand what each other is trying to say because they share a special bond.

Why Do More Weekend Activities Are Necessary
Why More Weekend Activities are Necessary
When walking around campus on the weekends, whether the weather is nice or not, you encounter
very few people if any. You can t help wondering where everyone is. You ponder maybe they went
home or they are going off campus with their friends to go to the mall or party. It is not beneficial that
numerous people leave campus on the weekends. If students stay on campus, they are cooped up in
their dorm rooms all day not wanting to leave. A major aspect of college besides acquiring an
education is getting to be social and connect with your school and the people around you. That is not
even possible, despite the fact that you hardly ever run across a good deal of people. The fact is, Walsh
University does not provide nearly enough weekend activities to keep students on campus. Weekend
activities need to be provided not only for the social aspect, but for an abundance of more reasons.
Students can be creative and relieve some of their weeks stress through activities. Furthermore,
students can obtain some physical activity or even learn some leadership skills. Having a movie night
each Friday night, hosting parties that don t involve alcohol, or even putting on a Dodgeball
tournament in the gym, can help keep students on campus. Providing more activities will help keep
students on campus and involved; in view of the fact that, then there will be activities to do and they
will be kept busy while having fun. Walsh University needs to

Astronomy Of The Islamic World
Astronomy in Medieval Islam Astronomy is the branch of science that deals with celestial objects,
space, and the universe as a whole. During the medieval era, a golden age of innovations in science
took part in the Islamic world. In particular cities in the Iberian Peninsula, like Cordoba, astronomy
blossomed and thrived as an aftermath of the genius and creativity that took place there. Innovations
in astronomy were vital in inspiring the other scientific discoveries, and were greatly encouraged by
the religious groups during the time. In the Oxford Encyclopedia of the Islamic World, S. Nomanul
Haq and Massimo Campanini wrote that astronomy is the only natural science that escaped the
censure of the medieval Muslim opponents of secular sciences (ʿulūm al awāʿil) and found a home in
mosques, receiving the blessing of mainstream religious circles. 1 Because of this support and
encouragement, scientists of astronomy were set up to thrive and innovate. Discoveries during this
period made fundamental advancements on Greek and Mesopotamian astronomy and were crucial for
the later advances of Copernicus and Kepler that give the view on astronomy that is held today. The
support of astronomy that garnered during the medieval era had many influences. One influence was
religion. Marking time accurately is essential for many religions including Islam, Judaism, and
Christianity. The Koran requires the faithful to pray five times a day at five very precise times: at the

Dogs Are Dogs And Cats
To me, there has always been a big difference between dogs and cats. Some people like dogs more;
some people like cats more. To decide which one you like more is always hard. Some of those main
points are how they play, how to take care of them, where they go to the bathroom, and how big they
get. Dogs have been around for over thousands of years now as humans pets. The word dog still has a
much unknown origin, but people believe it came from a word in German named docga . The word
dog means a domesticated carnivorous mammal that typically has a long snout, an acute sense of
smell, and a barking, howling, or whining voice. They have always been a very good human
companion. Cats have also been human s pets for over thousands of years now. The origin of the word
cat comes from old English and Middle English as catte . The word cat means a small domesticated
carnivorous mammal with soft fur, a short snout, and retractile claws. One of the biggest differences I
always notice between dogs and cats is how they go to the bathroom. Cats usually go in a litter box
that s kept indoors. The litter box is required to be cleaned at least once a month. It does tend to get
very stinky after a while when left in the house. A nice thing about cats is you don t have to be there to
let them out for the bathroom. Dogs get put on a lease in most cases to be let outside for the bathroom.
If your dog is well trained a lease is not always required for them to be let out. When a dog has to go

however may be the greatest benefit of an IPO. Because Berry s is a growing company seeking
expansion, becoming a public company with an initial public offering could prove to be an
advantageous option. As with IPOs, there are strengths, and weaknesses associated with acquisitions.
Obviously, those strengths and weaknesses must be evaluated thoroughly prior to making the decision
to seek an acquisition. Opportunities, although mainly positive, are also essential considerations. The
opportunities associated with acquisitions are readily apparent and correspond with the strengths of
this option for expansion. Acquisitions provide important opportunities for increased shareholder
value, brand recognition, and profitability, in addition to certain tax benefits. A merger can reveal
numerous opportunities for a smaller company seeking to increase sales without depleting resources or
cash flow. If for example, Berry s has established a strong customer loyalty and presence in a
particular locale, but has not been successful in expanding to others, a merger with a competitor could
easily lead to that opportunity. This broadening of horizons is commonly known in the business world
as a horizontal merger. A

Colloids For Research Paper
Solutions, colloids, and suspensions are all types of mixtures. Suspensions and colloids are classified
as heterogeneous mixtures and solutions are classified as the homogeneous mixture. Solutions are
single atoms that never settle and are transparent which also means clear. Colloids are aggregates of
atoms, molecules, or ions, they can settle and they are transparent with a Tyndall effect. Suspensions
are clumps of particles such as sand and their movement is by gravity with the translucent effect. An
example of a solution is sugar dissolving in water because the solute the sugar is being dissolved in

Solubility is the quantity of a particular substance solid, liquid, or gas solute that can dissolve in a
particular solvent, yielding a saturated solution(biology online). The solubility of solids increases with
the temperature. The increasing of the temperature allows the solvent molecules to easily detach the
solute molecules that are held by intermolecular attractions. The solubility of gases is a little more
complicated because as the temperature increase the kinetic energy also increases which causes more
motion of the molecules to move more freely. There re two ways for material to be dissolved the first
way is dipole to dipole which is molecular and the second way is dipole to ion which is ionic.

It is expensive to store large amounts of data in data centers so these records are outsourced to third
parties. Few privacy issues may arise as personal health information could be disclosed to those third
parties and to unauthorized people. There are some health regulations such as HIPAA but cloud
providers are not incorporated entities with them so there is a chance of malicious attackers targeting
these cloud storage server. Encrypting PHR s before giving access to patients is an effective way for
this problem.
The objective of this paper is to bestow secure patient centric personal health record access and
efficient key management as well. Idea here is to introduce a new technology that includes the
encryption standards as well as water marking concept in order to protect the privacy of the patient s
health records. Firstly, attribute based encryption concept which provides data encryption by
generating private key to the user and gives the user to provide access to the person who they want to
share by generating public key during the decryption of their personal health record.
The scope of the system is that, Individual Health Records are deposited in the cloud by the PHR
owners. Users like Doctors, Life Insurance, family members, Personal friends who are registered can

The Use of Imagery and Irony in Fitzgerald s The Great Gatsby
The Great Gatsby has been around for ages; it is a story of a young man in the 1920 s who is thrown
into a new world made up of the new and the old rich. He is confused by the way these people act and
in the end cannot stay another minute in this strange, insensitive, materialistic world. The author, F.
Scott Fitzgerald uses many techniques to help the reader understand how Nick Carraway (the narrator)
is feeling throughout the story. In the book The Great Gatsby, the author F. Scott Fitzgerald uses
effective language to make his writing successful. He uses the techniques of imagery and irony to
display this message.
The first writing technique that makes Fitzgerald s writing effective is the use of imagery. Nick has

New money was looked down upon by people who had old money and is shown through that
description of these two places. The first person that Nick describes is Tom Buchanan, Now he was a
sturdy straw haired man of thirty with a rather hard mouth and a supercilious manner. Two shining
arrogant eyes had established dominance over his face and gave him the appearance of always leaning
aggressively forward (7).He also describes Gatsby a little while later when he is coming over to Nick s
because his long lost love (Daisy), who is Tom s wife, is coming over for tea. Gatsby, in a white
flannel suit, silver shirt, and gold colored tie, hurried in. He was pale, and there were dark signs of
sleeplessness beneath his eyes (84). Nick s description of Tom automatically makes the reader feel like
they don t like him. He s arrogant and by his description doesn t seem very nice. This is the difference
between the new rich and the old rich. Tom doesn t show it off in clothing or material things but more
in his attitude, he thinks he s better than everyone and dominant. Gatsby, on the other hand, doesn t
have that kind of attitude. Rather he wears things to show off his wealth. He is wearing gold and silver
to display that he is wealthy. The author uses imagery to help the reader understand the two worlds
Nick is dealing with.
The book The Great Gatsby is very ironic. The good guy sadly doesn t win, which is very ironic

The Dionysian Procession on the Florence Cup The Dionysian procession depicted on the Florence
Cup basically depicts Dionysus being carried by his slaves on the phallus. In the light that Dionysus
was a Greek god, the depiction on the cup provides a reflection of personality, that was developed in
Greek myths and epics, as well as the rituals of worship that dominated the society. Although the
rituals performed by the Greek were suited to enhance divine personality, they can hardly be seen as
ignoring personality (Bowra, 1968). In the view that Dionysus is carried by the slaves, it might be
argued that he was unique in the respect of the members of the society. Other Greek gods may have
enhanced the performance of rituals that suited their personalities, but the Dionysian processions show
that Dionysus developed a personality that sought to suit the rituals that were being performed. In
addition, Dionysus, in contrary to other gods, acts as an expression of a venerated ritual that played a
significant role in the Greek society. Such a ritual was one of the most powerful and significant to the
lives of the members of the society both from emotional, as well as psychological perspectives ...

The image of slaves carrying Dionysus on a phallus seems to be a central understanding of the god s
function and movement in the ancient human society. In addition, the phallus depicted an assertion of
sexuality and power attached to Dionysus. Since the cup acts as a sign that the society has food and
drink in abundance, the procession using the phallus acts as an expression of agricultural and
economic abundance, which is complemented by the view that the festivals carried out by the
Athenians during such processions granted them temporary permission for licentiousness and
drunkenness (Bowra,

Benetton Advertising Strategy Analysis
In 2011 fashion powerhouse United Colours of Benetton (Benetton) launched a worldwide campaign,
in an attempt to tackle the cultural hatreds that has permeated the globe. Under the name UnHate;
Benetton embarked on an advertising strategy that would later prove to create un paralelled discourses
that would ripple through continents from the White House in USA to The Vatican in Italy. The
campaigns impact across the globe centered largely on it s choice of unconventional advertising
methods; utilizing often controversial imagery, which lead to consumer and industry reactions
bordering uproar around the Ponzano Veneto Company. Benetton then, and now continues to argue

A classroom with students from different backgrounds is very beneficial as it helps learners
understand and appreciate cultural differences, as they develop responsiveness of their cultural beliefs.
Students are allowed to break social and ethnicity barriers in the classroom, which will ultimately lead
to breaking them in their daily lives. This requires open and honest discussion about difference, and an
institutional respect for people of all backgrounds and abilities. In inclusive schools, the establishment
of such a climate benefits everyone by fostering an environment where students and their families are
valued for who they are. (Inclusive Schools Network). Consequently, being able to understand one
another from different backgrounds will aid in maintaining friendships in the future of this sort, and
resolve any lingering conflict, ultimately benefiting the future.
A diverse classroom provides many advantages such as being exposed to different
experiences/perspectives, which helps develop high order critical thinking skills and promotes
personal growth. These factors can help students excel in the future, and help bring the future
generation unite.Multicultural education is broadly defined, takes many forms and has an impact on

Margaret Thatcher’s Achievements as Prime Minister in the...
Margaret Thatcher s achievements as Prime Minister in the years 1979 1990 were limited. Assess the
validity of the statement. Margaret Thatcher s political career has been one of the most remarkable of
modern times she served as British Prime Minister for more than eleven years (1979 90), a record
unmatched in the twentieth century. During her term of office she reshaped almost every aspect of
British politics, reviving the economy, reforming outdated institutions, and reinvigorating the nation s
foreign policy. She challenged and did much to overturn the psychology of decline, which had become
rooted in Britain since the Second World War, pursuing national recovery with striking energy and
determination. In the process, Margaret ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Her economic policies were another success for Thatcher s regime. Thatcher s policies were
monumental changes for Britain. Privatisation and deregulation were famous changes implemented by
Thatcher. The policy of Privatisation has been called a crucial ingredient of Thatcherism . After the
1983 election the sale of state utilities accelerated; more than £29 billion was raised from the sale of
nationalised industries, and another £18 billion from the sale of council houses. The process of
privatisation, especially the preparation of nationalised industries for privatisation, was associated
with marked improvements in performance, particularly in terms of labour productivity. Some of the
privatised industries including gas, water, and electricity, were natural monopolies for which
privatisation involved little increase in competition. The privatisation allowed people to become more
involved in the buying of shares in companies. Although this did not work as well as Thatcher would
have hoped as many of the richer part of society bought as many shares at they could. Many people
denounced this policy as an Elitist policy. The privatisation of public companies was combined with
financial deregulation in an attempt to encourage economic growth. Geoffrey Howe Thatcher s

After VWF is made, it can follow a number of pathways. It can either be released into the plasma,

monocytes and macrophages. Two enzymes also differ in the fact that uPA has a lower affinity for
plasminogen compared to tPA. This process will stop and inhibit the buildup of fibrin, it also allows

Theology Of Fear Book Review
Fear is an emotion that is common today, both in the secular and Christian camps. Many become
scared over minute things, but then there are those who have strong fears about events in their past
that then cause fear about future events. How do we know when we should be fearful and when we
should simply be cautious? Overall, the book was excellent, and it offered a strong approach to
understanding fear and how to overcome it. And while I understand Dr. Ken Nichols s intent, I would
be interested in learning how to apply the content of this book in the context of a counseling session.
While reading the text, I found that there was not much emphasis given to the theology of fear as
outlined in Scripture. I understand that the book was an overview

Civil War Amputations
The Civil War was fought with much carnage, and was one of America s most uncivilized , wars with
a soldier s chance of survival about twenty five per cent. While many were killed by other soldiers,
usually through bullets, a large portion died as a result of disease such as: dysentery, mumps,
pneumonia, typhoid fever, measles, and tuberculosis, diseases that are curable today. These diseases
were spread through the horribly sanitized camps found on both sides of the war: Confederate and
Union. And while many died from disease, some died from other soldiers bullets; these deaths may
have been prevented if the technology, or overall techniques used by surgeons, during this time period
were more up to date, as amputations were the main procedure

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder ( Ocd ) And All The...
The story is an intriguing tale that I would argue explicates and profoundly depicts the different
dynamics associated with the Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and all the corresponding
tendencies that exacerbate the anxiety. The main character, Mr. Melvin Udall s behavior and actions
speaks volume about the debilitating effects of the disorder. He seems to constantly have unwanted
and intrusive thoughts that can t seems to get out of head, making him obsessed with it, Example the
constant irrational worry about dirt at home, in the restaurant, on the streets so as to not come in
contact with germ, virus or disease, and excessive concerns with order, arrangement, or symmetry, as
well as Feeling overly responsible for the safety of others a distasteful religious and sexual thoughts or
images. The anxiety that is developed as a result of the above tendencies that compels him throughout
to repeatedly perform ritualistic behaviors and arrangements, such as cleaning, repeatedly washing of
his hands and one occasion bathing for hours, while Helen, the waitress waited for him to go a date,
clearing demonstrating the compulsion that is too often difficult to control, even though it appears
irrational. It must be said that this compulsive aspect of the symptoms tend to help him mitigate or
ease the anxiety that persist. So in a narrow sense the compulsive behavior serves as a positive remedy
or coping strategy, but generally it is irrational

  • 2. Description Of The Movie Nope Luna awoke to a loud thud. She got out of her bed, worried about what she might see. She went to the door, carefully opening it keeping her horn ready. On the other side of the door was the last thing she expected to see. Luna pointed at the letter. Yes, I m sure. I wasn t exactly paying much attention when she hoofed it to me. I m, sorry princess. It s fine. Luna thanked the mare again and closed the door. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... She completely forgot about the country, and she had pushed any thought it far out of her memory until that moment. It was a blemish on her past. The country got her banished by her own sister and now. Now the country was calling her to be its leader. Her first thought was to tell Celestia right away. She needed to find out what her sister thought of it the proposal, but then she started having second thoughts. Celestia would never allow her return to go back there. Why would she ever let her return? It had destroyed their friendship. There was no way she could tell Celestia about this. At the same time, Celestia was her sister, and Luna couldn t let something as important as this go untold. She could tell her sister about the letter, but that could reopen past wounds, or she could ignore the letter and forget she ever got it. If she ignored it Celestia would eventually find out. Finally, she decided she would have to talk to her sister eventually, and decided to go ahead and get it over with.

People who mistake sensory knowledge for the truth and people who really do see the truth. The slaves are taken into a cave and chained down and the experiment begins. Plato s cave can be confusing at first but once it is considered and researched it starts to become clear. Today there are many different stories that are very alike to the allegory of Plato s cave. One of these stories is the movie The Matrix. The allegory of the cave by Plato is a theory concerning human perception. It begins with a cave. The movie starts out with a man named Thomas Anderson. You may know him better as Keanu Reeves in a trench coat. Thomas Anderson goes by the persona Neo, which is his world class hacker name. He is contacted by Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne) and Trinity (Carrie Anne Moss). Morpheus tells him that his world isn t what he thought it was. What he s known as reality is merely a computer program. This program is called the Matrix. Then Neo is offered a choice: a red pill, which will allow him to discover what the Matrix is, or the blue pill, which will make him fall back into the illusion of the Matrix like nothing happened. Of course, he chooses the red pill because otherwise the movie would have been boring as hell. Neo then finds himself aware of the real world for the first time. When he wakes up he is startled to find that he is hooked up to a machine connected by wires coming out of holes in his body. Plus, he was surrounded by thousands of others who were still sleeping . We find out that Neo is the one and he must save the world, but then things get ugly. Before the can get out of the matrix one of their crew members named Cypher (Joe Pantoliano) betrayed them and told the secret agent bad guys that they were there. They capture Morpheus and Neo and Trinity must fight back to rescue him. They rescue Morpheus and they get out of the Matrix before the movie ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Thornell NCGP 10 October 2014 Katelyn Vick Bethany Thornell AP Language Composition 10 October 2014 Islam and Christianity Comparative Religious Study Islam and Christianity are significantly different religions with its followers holding many opposing views and theories. Therefore, most find it somewhat challenging to acknowledge any common morals or similarities between Christianity and Islam. Through the comparative study of these two religions, one can identify such similarities and differences. Comparative religion is the examination of different religions and how they relate to one another. It is becoming a large factor in present day discourse mainly because diverse, pious groups are having closer contact both individually and collectively (McGuigan). The goal of comparative religion is to train individuals to critically think about the cultural, social, historical, and intellectual circumstances within religious relationships. Although Christianity and Islam are considered different religions, one must fully understand each to recognize the many commonalities they do, in fact, share. Christians and Muslims beliefs tend to resemble up to the point of Abraham. After Abraham, the ideas and theories start changing. In the Bible, Abraham was the son of Terah. God told Abraham that his descendants would grow and become slaves of a great nation, but then shall come out of that land with great ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Good advertising does not just circulate information, it penetrates the public mind with desires and belief, stated William Bill Bernbach one of the most creative advertising directors of his time. Advertising is when a person or organisation make an announcement through the various forms of media which is intended to influence the choices of others, whereby it attempts to inform, appeal and persuade their targeted audience. It has an almost equal focus on all these elements employing a diverse range of characters and emotive use of technological imagery. The dynamic appeal of the future , the central aspect to this ad, was presented specifically by the modes of logos and ethos. They successfully attempted this by presenting a varied range of people who all seemed to be intelligent and possess high authoritative abilities created by their character s job persona, whether that be a scientist or a neurologist. These paid actors really made the ad seem much more credible and well as appealing to the ethics of the audience because these people have first hand experience with the product, making their recommendations of joining a generation that s moving us forward the most reliable and trustworthy testimonial of anyone on the market. The actors have also used the power of the product to get people on board the bandwagon and join the widely accepted revolution before it s too late, employing tactics to build trust in both the company and the product. In addition to this this ad has also used pathos to target their audience by using emotional imagery and psychological metaphors. From images with parents celebrating with their young children to ethnic and gender equal societies to successful space launches, the ad really has an ideal of positivity, making the most out of the emotional imagery allowing the audience to be susceptible to the lies the NBN were broadcasting. Specifically, in this ad the NBN has tried extremely hard to elicit the emotion of hope in its viewers, attempting to instil this via the futuristic imagery, so that audience has something to look forward to, giving them the desire for this better future and new generation that would encourage both cultural ... • 10. Analysis Report On Management Accounting System A management accounting system collects accounting information and converts the information to an analysis report in order to help managers make correct decisions and let stakeholders fully understand how the company runs. In another word, the main purpose of the management accounting system is assessing the company s performance with the help of different measurements. Thus, management accounting system reform should be closely linked to performance measurement. The most traditional way to measure company s performance is comparing the historical financial figures. However, such measure has been challenged by both academics and practitioners as the dysfunction consequences in assessing rewards for managers and issues in capturing customer quality have been recognized. Under this competitive environment, one traditional performance measurement may not be good enough to fit all the businesses. In order to help businesses measure their performance accurately, the innovations and changes may take place when designing and adopting the management accounting system. He aimed to achieve such social policies within the Youth and Women but particularly through his concept of volksgemeinschaft, meaning people s community, he hoped to transform Germany into a strong country based on traditional peasant values. David Schoenbaum has argued that Hitler s social revolution was a fake, and perceived as being real, due to the influence of Hitler s propaganda. Many of the ways the Nazis enforced the Volksgemeinschaft was effective, because citizens were reporting suspicious behavior and enemies of the state were being purged from civil service positions. The implementation of Volksgemeinschaft was largely effective, but also had unintended consequences and backlash that proved it also party ineffective, whether it was suspicion reports getting out of control or youths rebelling against the Hitler Youth in order to seek a more open culture. Hitler had initiated changes that insisted women should return to their traditional roles as homemakers and provide healthy offspring to the Nazi state. Childbearing was encouraged in Germany, however this was only acceptable to the Aryans not the Jews. Hitler implemented policies such as financial incentive marriage loans and special medals were given to women who gave birth to large families. He also made divorce difficult, abortion and contraception illegal in order to achieve his objective effectively. Also, women‚ organizations were created to indoctrinate women with Nazi ideas such as, The German Women‚ Enterprise. These programs promoted cookery classes, marriage, motherhood and nationhood. The second scene of socializing is when the SEAL team introduces new members into the group. In the movie, character Shane Patton recited a pledge to the former Navy SEALs that expresses the mission statement that Navy SEALs live by. An example of social interaction seen in the film is found mid way through the film. Why Do More Weekend Activities Are Necessary Why More Weekend Activities are Necessary When walking around campus on the weekends, whether the weather is nice or not, you encounter very few people if any. You can t help wondering where everyone is. You ponder maybe they went home or they are going off campus with their friends to go to the mall or party. It is not beneficial that numerous people leave campus on the weekends. If students stay on campus, they are cooped up in their dorm rooms all day not wanting to leave. A major aspect of college besides acquiring an education is getting to be social and connect with your school and the people around you. That is not even possible, despite the fact that you hardly ever run across a good deal of people. The fact is, Walsh University does not provide nearly enough weekend activities to keep students on campus. Weekend activities need to be provided not only for the social aspect, but for an abundance of more reasons. Students can be creative and relieve some of their weeks stress through activities. Furthermore, students can obtain some physical activity or even learn some leadership skills. Having a movie night each Friday night, hosting parties that don t involve alcohol, or even putting on a Dodgeball tournament in the gym, can help keep students on campus. • 15. Astronomy Of The Islamic World Astronomy in Medieval Islam Astronomy is the branch of science that deals with celestial objects, space, and the universe as a whole. During the medieval era, a golden age of innovations in science took part in the Islamic world. In particular cities in the Iberian Peninsula, like Cordoba, astronomy blossomed and thrived as an aftermath of the genius and creativity that took place there. Innovations in astronomy were vital in inspiring the other scientific discoveries, and were greatly encouraged by the religious groups during the time. In the Oxford Encyclopedia of the Islamic World, S. Nomanul Haq and Massimo Campanini wrote that astronomy is the only natural science that escaped the censure of the medieval Muslim opponents of secular sciences (ʿulūm al awāʿil) and found a home in mosques, receiving the blessing of mainstream religious circles. 1 Because of this support and encouragement, scientists of astronomy were set up to thrive and innovate. Discoveries during this period made fundamental advancements on Greek and Mesopotamian astronomy and were crucial for the later advances of Copernicus and Kepler that give the view on astronomy that is held today. The support of astronomy that garnered during the medieval era had many influences. One influence was religion. • 16. Dogs Are Dogs And Cats To me, there has always been a big difference between dogs and cats. Some people like dogs more; some people like cats more. To decide which one you like more is always hard. Some of those main points are how they play, how to take care of them, where they go to the bathroom, and how big they get. Dogs have been around for over thousands of years now as humans pets. The word dog still has a much unknown origin, but people believe it came from a word in German named docga . The word dog means a domesticated carnivorous mammal that typically has a long snout, an acute sense of smell, and a barking, howling, or whining voice. They have always been a very good human companion. Cats have also been human s pets for over thousands of years now. The origin of the word cat comes from old English and Middle English as catte . The word cat means a small domesticated carnivorous mammal with soft fur, a short snout, and retractile claws. One of the biggest differences I always notice between dogs and cats is how they go to the bathroom. Cats usually go in a litter box that s kept indoors. The litter box is required to be cleaned at least once a month. It does tend to get very stinky after a while when left in the house. A nice thing about cats is you don t have to be there to let them out for the bathroom. Dogs get put on a lease in most cases to be let outside for the bathroom. If your dog is well trained a lease is not always required for them to be let out. When a dog has to go ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Because Berry s is a growing company seeking expansion, becoming a public company with an initial public offering could prove to be an advantageous option. As with IPOs, there are strengths, and weaknesses associated with acquisitions. Obviously, those strengths and weaknesses must be evaluated thoroughly prior to making the decision to seek an acquisition. Opportunities, although mainly positive, are also essential considerations. The opportunities associated with acquisitions are readily apparent and correspond with the strengths of this option for expansion. Acquisitions provide important opportunities for increased shareholder value, brand recognition, and profitability, in addition to certain tax benefits. A merger can reveal numerous opportunities for a smaller company seeking to increase sales without depleting resources or cash flow. If for example, Berry s has established a strong customer loyalty and presence in a particular locale, but has not been successful in expanding to others, a merger with a competitor could easily lead to that opportunity. • 23. Florence Cup Essay Poetry Name: Course: Tutor: Date: The Dionysian Procession on the Florence Cup The Dionysian procession depicted on the Florence Cup basically depicts Dionysus being carried by his slaves on the phallus. In the light that Dionysus was a Greek god, the depiction on the cup provides a reflection of personality, that was developed in Greek myths and epics, as well as the rituals of worship that dominated the society. Although the rituals performed by the Greek were suited to enhance divine personality, they can hardly be seen as ignoring personality (Bowra, 1968). In the view that Dionysus is carried by the slaves, it might be argued that he was unique in the respect of the members of the society. Other Greek gods may have enhanced the performance of rituals that suited their personalities, but the Dionysian processions show that Dionysus developed a personality that sought to suit the rituals that were being performed. In addition, Dionysus, in contrary to other gods, acts as an expression of a venerated ritual that played a significant role in the Greek society.
