It is indeed a beautiful evening, all soaked in the Pune theme. The decoration outside, the ambience
and the Puneri Pathiya . Thank you all for this enthusiasm and spirit of togetherness . We are at the
junction where a chapter closes and a new one begins. It is overwhelming that we now count 7 years
from the inception of the school. What a journey it has been with each year having its own triumphs
and struggles and yet unique it many ways.
We grew from 24 students to 880 and 30 staff members to 120 now and still counting. Next year we

financial and other such assistances to help secure the future of the girl child. The Empowering
Dreams Project (EDP) is for 3 years. Typically girls pursue their graduation while being a part of this
project. Almost all girls that I have interacted during the course of this study were a part of the EDP.
Methodology
I initially wished to conduct the study on the basis of informal interactions of interviews. Prior
experience had taught me that it is rare that participants of the study are extremely comfortable
answering a lengthy questionnaire. Therefore I wanted to do away with the questionnaire. But senior
employees of Akshara made me realise that it might not be such a bad idea to get a basic
understanding of the issue through a questionnaire. Therefore I kept the questionnaire as the last thing
as part of the methodology. I had undertaken informal interactions then had gone into full fledged
interviews and then administered a questionnaire.
It was however, the informal interactions that taught me the most. I was glad that I could meet both
sections. There are several girls that I interacted with but many of them have not filled out the
questionnaire. Of the 30 40 girls that I did meet only 22 of them have filled out a questionnaire. Of

Guilt is cancer. Guilt will confine you, torture you, and destroy you as an artist. It s a black wall. It s a
thief Dave Grohl. In the play, The Tragedy of Macbeth, Shakespeare shows how guilt can cause
terrible consequences. The Tragedy of Macbeth is a story about a Scottish general, Macbeth, who
receives a prophecy from a group of witches that one day he will be the King of Scotland. Intrigued by
the news, Macbeth is willing to do anything it takes to be King. Manipulated by his wife, Macbeth
then ends up murdering the King and takes the throne for himself. But after contemplating on the
repulsive act that he had just done, all Macbeth is left with is a loss of words and a heart full of guilt
all because of his wife. In the play, Shakespeare uses a huge variety of imagery to show how some
mistake may cost you your life.

Ethics are defined as moral principles, as of an individual. Giving dropped money back to a blind man
is an example of good ethics. I believe in having a strong sense of ethics. Morality or morals can be
defined as of, relating to, or concerned with the principles or rules of right conduct or the distinction
between right and wrong. I believe having a good moral sense is crucial to participate in the world.
Without one, you can make a lot of people angry, or you could get fired from a job. Legality or the
laws which govern us are rules we are forced to live by. They keep us in line and stop us from doing
unjust things. I believe in laws. Without them people who don t have strong morals, or who are
unethical, would be able to damage society.
The difference between Ethics, Morals, and Laws is slim. Morals make up ethics. Legality takes
ethical practices and tells you things you can t do based on what most people think of as right and
wrong.
Computer hacking can be both ethical and unethical. Ethical hacking is when something is hacked
legally and helps better the community. For example operating systems are usually hacked by their

The ideas of heroism in a Victorian sense are very different than those ideas of a hero in Anglo Saxon
literature. The most obvious hero in A Tale of Two Cities is Sydney Carton, but he emerges very
differently than Beowulf. It was never clearly mentioned in the novel that Carton was a hero, so
Dickens expected the reader to infer that that was so. It also wasn t until book three that Carton
