Clinical Reasoning Model Essay
Incorporating theory into practice is very important aspect in nursing profession. Nurses employ
analytical thinking and reasoning to evaluate health assessments and physical examinations. Core
essences of this concept include cognition, metacognition and discipline specific knowledge
(Simmons, B. 2010). The clinical reasoning model aids nurses to make clinical judgments. In the
scenario of Mrs Alice Palmer, numerous investigation where taken and due to limited information
more subjective data was needed as well as objective data had to be monitored constantly. Effective
clinical reasoning depends upon the nurse s ability to collect the right cues and to take the right action
for the right patient at the right time and for the right reason (Levett Jones, Hoffman, ... Show more

The application of critical thinking and clinical reasoning are crucial fundamentals in everyday life of
nurse s clinical practice. Like most skills, the more the nurses train, the more natural and easier it
becomes. Encouraging comparisons with similar presentations help learners widen their differential
diagnosis (Pinnock, R., Welch, P. 2014). Critical thinking is a purposeful, goal directed thinking
process that strives to problem solve patient care issues through the use of clinical reasoning (Estes,
M., Calleja, P., Theobald, K., Harvey, T. 2016). Clinical reasoning whereas is a disciplined, creative
and reflective approach used together with critical thinking to establish potential strategies to assist
patients in reaching their desired health goals (Estes, M., Calleja, P., Theobald, K., Harvey, T. 2016).
Both these skills are vital and failure to grasp and master these abilities result in adverse patient
outcomes such as improper patient care, incorrect diagnose and inappropriate treatment. In other
words, critical thinking and clinical reasoning leads to critical

How Is Lady Capulet Careless
Lad Capulet= Carelessness In Shakespeare s Romeo and Juliet, Lady Capulet showcases that; she
plays as a carless character throughout the play. Firstly, Juliet tries to explain how she does not want to
marry Paris, O sweet my mother, cast me not away! Delay this marriage for a month, a week, or if you
do not, make the bridal bed. In that dim monument where Tybalt lies. (III. V. 198 201) Lady Capulet
replies, Talk not to me, for I ll not speak a word. Do as thou wilt, for I have done with thee. (III.V. 201
202) Here it showcases, that she did not care about her anymore at this point as well with she does not
want anything to do with Juliet. As a mother I would talk to her about the problem and help find a
solution to make things well, but she ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Secondly, Lord Capulet tells, his wife about Juliet s marriage and asks, How now wife, have you

gives you thanks. I would the fool were married to her grace. (III.V.139 140) Here it shows, Lady
Capulet does not speak against her husband, Lord Capulet because she does not want to irritate nor
disappoint him and Juliet. Overall, her mother does not stand up for her own daughter s opinions.
Thirdly, when Juliet kneels down on her knees and begs to not marry Paris, I beseech you on my

The Goal Assignment
The Goal Analysis
The main character in The Goal , Alex Rogo, manages a production plant that is unprofitable and not
efficient with its resources. Alex is given a short amount of time to turn the operations at the plant
around and make it an efficient, successful production plant. Throughout the book, Alex Rogo speaks
to Jonah a number of times and learns a great amount of information from him. The first significant
time that Alex and Jonah spoke was during their chance meeting at an airport lounge. During this
conversation, Alex learned a great deal about productivity and goal setting. Jonah explains to Alex that
a company has one goal and that the manager must be open about the goal. Jonah then discusses the
definition of productivity with Alex and tells him that the true definition is bringing a company closer
to its goal that it has set. Among these concepts that Alex learned, he also learned more about his own
management style and how it could be improved. Alex learned that he must question common
concepts regarding managing and that he must think differently in order to be successful. The second
time Alex spoke to Jonah was after finding his contact information in his old address book. During
this conversation, Alex realizes that accustomed profitability measures cannot be applied to the plant
he is managing and he must follow measures that better relate to his individual plant. Jonah teaches

Interpersonal Communication in Social Network Essay
The movie Social Network is about the ideas and the development behind the creation of the very
popular social networking site Facebook . Mark Zuckerberg is the main character in the movie and
also the actual creator of Facebook. There are multiple instances, where various components of
interpersonal communication are used throughout this movie. For instance, in the very beginning of
the movie Zuckerberg is speaking to his girlfriend Erika, about school, which appears to be a
relationship of both circumstance and choice, but uses a bit of sarcasm and conversational narcissism
when speaking with her. His girlfriend in return uses the direct termination strategy, justification, by

She suggests that female male communication is cross cultural communication, with all of the
challenges of communicating with people who are different from us (p. 88). Hence, the same
information can affect each gender in a different way. Men often communicate to report; women often
communicate to establish rapport. So the point of difference isn t in the way the sexes actually
communicate but in their motivations or reasons for communicating (p. 88). The guys that received
the two pictures of the girls were excited and all voted on who they considered hotter. The girls on the
other hand couldn t believe that it was being sent around and were offended. Females tend to take
things more literally and are likely to be more emotional than men, which should be taken in to
consideration, when any interpersonal communication is taking place. During Zuckerberg s creation of
Facebook he came up with the idea of relationship status , stating that this is what drives life in
college. Are you having sex or aren t you? It is why people take certain classes, and sit where they sit,
and do what they do... He is implying that sex runs the lives of students and young adults, which can

Why Notetaking Is Important Research Paper
Throughout your whole life you will learn that notetaking is a skill that you will use close to everyday
of your life. When notetaking it doesn t have to just be writing down information with pen and paper.
You could simply just make a mental note in your head of something that is important and needs to be
remembered. In college, every student will not be able to listen to every word being said by the
professor, even if you have good memory. When notetaking during a lecture it s important to take
down the key information and the concepts that you will need to remember. If the professor likes to
talk for an hour straight there is no way you can remember all of that the next day. Notetaking is the
best way to cover the lecture effectively.

A Study of the Dramatic Roles of Women in Richard III Essay
There are five female characters in the play Richard III. Of these five there are four central female
characters; the Duchess of York, Richard s mother; Anne who later becomes Richard s wife; Queen
Margaret who was the former queen and Richard s arch enemy and Queen Elizabeth, the current
queen. The final female character who plays a minor role in the play is Queen Elizabeth s daughter,
Elizabeth, but she is merely a pawn in Richard s plan and we never meet her. Each woman has a
significant role in Richard III and is vital to the script. Anne is the first female character that we meet
in the text (act 1 scene 2), which is where she is wooed by the ultimate villain in the play, Richard. ...

She is a fool to be charmed in this way against all the odds and to be made believe that he killed them
for her. She realises her mistake later on in the play but by then it is too late and she is killed. The
woman whom we meet next is my favourite character in the play because she too is a victim like many
others in the play, but is the only one who manages to defeat Richard. This is Queen Elizabeth. Queen
Elizabeth is a passive character throughout most of the play until she is no longer queen. As I have
already mentioned Queen Elizabeth is a victim in the play but more so than any of the other characters
because her husband dies of ill health due to Richard s scheming and lies, and then her two sons are
murdered due to Richard s demands, but she still stays strong enough to send her remaining son
abroad to save him. Her dramatic role in Richard III is to show that evil can be overthrown. She is
Richard s victim throughout until she deceives him by making him believe that he will take her young
daughter in marriage I go. Write to me very shortly, /And you shall understand from me her mind. In
this scene we see Queen Elizabeth in a different light, not as a grieving widow or mother, but as a
strong, determined character that is intent on overthrowing her tormentor. She sees a chance to be
Richard s victor and

To Kill A Mockingbird Social Structure
From the first seconds of dawn to the last moments of dawn, one thing overshadows the United States:
social class. Whether it be lower, middle, upper, or somewhere in between, social structure has
affected the lives of millions living in the U.S. for decades. Everyday life in the United States is
shaped by the complex social structure. Numerous social classes divided and organized the citizens of
Southern towns in the early to mid twentieth century. In Harper Lee s novel, To Kill a Mockingbird,
Jem Finch says that people can be broken up into four groups: the ordinary kind , poor farmers, the
unemployed poor, and blacks (Lee 258). Going down the social ladder, the level of respect and
economic prosperity declines. Those at the bottom were ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In chapter 23, Alexandra tells Scout, The thing is, you can scrub Walter Cunningham till he shines,
you can put him in shoes and a new suit, but he ll never be like Jem (Lee 255). Walter was a poor,
working farmer boy of the lower class, traditionally inferior to someone like Jem, a privileged son of a
respectable family. The excerpt displays the mindset of many middle to upper class whites in the
1930s: it does not matter how similar someone is to the upper class, if they come from a lower class,
they will always have their original branding, and should be treated as such. Blacks in the 1930s got
the short end of the stick when it came to social status. In the 1930s, middle class Negroes do better
economically than do lower class whites, but they must obey the deference [respect] forms
characteristic of their caste position when dealing with lower class whites (Dollard 252). The classic
early 1930s class structure places them at the very bottom of the order, with little room to advance
upward. This arrangement kept the white community in a position of power. One s background

Theme Of Cruelty Towards Children In The Poem The Chimney...
In the poem Holy Thursday songs of experience and in the poem The Chimney Sweeper , William
Blake makes use of various literary techniques to portray the theme of cruelty towards children. The
poem Holy Thursday refers to the wretched condition of children in charity schools. The poem The
Chimney Sweeper refers to the poor children who were used as slaves in England. My aim for this
essay is to explore how William Blake made use of various literary techniques to portray the theme of
cruelty towards children in the two poems.
The title Holy Thursday alludes to joy and purity. Yet this poem highlights the cruelty towards
children in charity schools. Blake makes use of this contrast to emphasize on the subject of the poem.

Indeed the parents leave their child alone in poor and wrenched conditions to furthermore pray for the
well being of their family. This irony portrays the cruelty towards children in the poem.
The poet effectively makes use of different metaphors to portray cruelty towards children in the poem.
Clothes of death is a metaphor for the chimney sweepers uniform. The boy feels the injustice that he
has to sweep chimneys as a child. The noun death might allude to the harsh working conditions that
the child has to face. The latter hence might describe his work as a deadly task. This metaphor hence,
greatly contribute to the portrayal of children ill treatment in this poem.
The metaphor sing the notes of woe describe the child s despair as he begs lamentably the people
passing by to offer him a job that he hates. The noun woe moreover highlights the desperate state of
mind of the child and furthermore portray the frustration of the child as he is cruelly dominated by his
parents. Finally the metaphor make up a heaven of our misery might be a mouthpiece of Blake as he
accuses the Charity schools, the other social institutions and the society to treat children as

Exploring Relationships In The Film Tomboy
There are many relationships formed in our lives. In the movie Tomboy the parents have a healthy
loving relationship with each other as well as with their children. Though the parents have good
relationships with their kids it seems though as they might not be as in tune with the kids as they just
moved, they have a baby on the way and the dad is working often. Both parents seem to be supportive
of the tomboyish ways of their eldest daughter, but the mother wants her daughter to display more
defined female behaviors such as showing positive regard towards Laure making a female friend and
wearing make up. The dad picks up that something is upsetting Laure when he notices her sucking her
thumb, but doesn t delve into it. Laure s mother slaps her when she finds out she was pretending to be

Comparison Of Taming Of The Shrew And Oedipus Rex
Tragedy and Comedy Rewrite In the plays The Taming of the Shrew by William Shakespeare and
Oedipus Rex by Sophocles, aspects of tragedy and comedy are used to shine a spotlight on human
nature and explain the reasons behind human actions. As American musician Willie Nelson once
stated, Cruelty is all out of ignorance. If you knew what was in store for you, you wouldn t hurt
anybody, because whatever you do comes back much more forceful than you send it out. Both plays
exhibit instances where characters are ignorant, cruel, and act in unusual ways. Overall, tragedy and
comedy elements are used by drama writers to reveal the true nature of humans and explain the
reasons for their actions. By virtue of the authors use of anagnorisis, farce, ... Show more content on

Petruchio s harsh treatment of her because of her disobedience eventually molds her into an obedient
and appreciative bride. Shakespeare incorporates this change that occurs within Katherine to
demonstrate how human cruelty can affect another person, changing them so much that they
completely disregard their previous beliefs. Additionally, a surprise ending is also prevalent in
Oedipus Rex when Oedipus finds out his wife/mother has killed herself. In reacting to her suicide, he
then pokes sharp needles into his eyes as described by the Second Messenger, He struck his eyes not
once, but many times; / And the blood spattered his beard, / Bursting from his ruined sockets like red
hail (Sophocles 1226 28). Even though Oedipus is distraught and understandably upset over his
wife/mother s death, he surprises the audience by penetrating his own eyes with sharp needles in an
attempt to punish himself. This surprise is further acknowledged when Oedipus speaks about his
actions: Do not counsel me any more. This punishment / That I have laid upon myself is just (1315
1316). Oedipus self harm is used by Sophocles to display how Oedipus ignorance leads to him
physically abusing himself, in addition to highlighting the reasons behind human actions. The author
allows Oedipus to add reasoning behind his own self destruction, specifically through his dialogue as
he outlines that him hurting

Optional Humility Analysis
The three types of humility according to Schein are basic humility, optional humility and here and
now humility. Basic humility is when society dictates that people born into a class structure are due a
certain amount of respect. An example of this would be how we deal with our boss s families.
Optional humility is when one achieves their status through their actions and hard work. Most of the
leaders in my organization are where they are today because they have worked hard to get there. We
treat them with respect not only because of the job, but also because of their hard work. Here and now
humility is the type of humility I think we deal with the most often. One of the gentlemen that I work

do you ever look inside? Do you ever look inside and see what you are not? God! (1343). The rigid
and explicit behavior associated with the rebellious nature that Hulga exhibits is likely a diversion
technique that makes her feel secure and comfortable around others. Hulga also exhibits a guarded
personality through her unwillingness to trust others, which is another support for her insecure nature.
Her guarded personality shows when she begins to socialize with the bible salesman in a very
impersonal manner: Joy had given him one look on being introduced to him and then throughout the
meal has not glanced at him again (1346). Aside from the demonstration of insecurity through
rebellion, explicit behavior, and a guarded personality, Hulga also finds comfort in her condescending
nature that stems from her advanced philosophical education. Mrs. Hopewell, Hulga s mother,
describes Hulga s education as a Ph.D. in philosophy (1344). Hulga uses her extensive educational
background throughout the story as she condescends upon others, and imagines herself as superior:
True genius can get an idea across even to an inferior mind (1349). Hulga s behavior of hiding behind
condescending behavior and assumed superiority is another shield to aid in her handicap related to

America is a great nation. This is the result of our civil liberties, our rights. Without these rights we

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and
transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer,
while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are
accustomed. Rather than change a longstanding government because of a short term cause we should
learn to deal with it in other manners. Fear seems short term. It s hard to stay afraid all the time

Human Trafficking In East Asia
Human trafficking is a global problem in which globalization have had an important role. There are
many forms of trafficking in persons such as sexual exploitation the most known form , forced labor,

Traffickers use coercion, deception, or abduction to get their victims. They take advantage of the
vulnerability of children, woman, and men who live in poverty or are looking for more favorable
opportunities and lured them into leaving their home and travelling to what they assume will be a

something of a heated topic within the parameters of immigration in politics since the starting of the

Changing the Birthright clause to include solely the children of naturalized citizens, will ensure that
after the correct processes, those who truly desire the right to all of the freedoms that the United States
offers, will strive to receive American citizenship. If a legal alien opts to remain a non citizen but stays
as a legal permanent resident any children born and raised by them in the U.S. can make the decision
for themselves once eligible whether or not they wish to become naturalized citizens.
In a journal article by Alex Street on the issue of birth naturalization in Germany, he points out that
parents are prone to naturalize while their children are young, in order to ensure that their children
grow up as citizens of the country of residence. He continues by pointing out that By granting
citizenship to many children born in Germany to immigrant parents, the introduction of jus soli

at their situation and Johnson s case. In result to this case, the majority of the court noted that the
Texas law discriminated upon the law. They feel that this act might bring up anger in other people and
more flag burning. The majority of the court also agreed that Johnson had the right to use that form of
symbolic speech because it is protected by the first amendment. They find this act is very offensive,
but the society s outrage alone is not justification for depressing Johnson s freedom of speech. The
first amendment, as written in the constitution, forbids the abridgement of speech , but we have not
taken upon the writing that it spreads past spoken and written. Any citizen has the wright to use his or
her form of speech in his or way of choosing. These forms can be in words, or written down on paper.
These ways of speech can also be used in actions, and these actions can express an idea of language as
well. When Johnson decided to burn the American flag, he was using his form of speech to get his
point across to the new president. When the state came after him, they were in the wrong because of
this amendment. Because of this, it was

Critical Analysis Of Killing The Bear By Judith Minty
The Analysis of Killing the Bear by Judith Minty Based on Reader Response Criticism The important
thing in the reader response theory is the interpretive of the readers itself, rather than the author or
even the text. The theory gives the competence to the reader to critic the text, however with the
condition the readers have the evidence or research from other people toward the critic. The way of
their interpretation may reveal their identity, because the reader gives the critic depends on their
knowledge and experience (Philip Goldstein, 2005). Everyone has their own perspective toward
anything, especially for the literary works. Each of people perspective is unique. That is why reader
response was created. The theory is about the transaction between the writer and the reader. The writer
composed a meaningful text, whereas the reader composed an interpreted meaning of the text. Reader
response is not about destroying the writer s idea, but it is more constructing the work itself (Louise
M. Rosenblatt, 1988). The theory usually used for the basic of the analysis. ... Show more content on

Essay on Analysis of Alice Munro s How I Met My Husband
Analysis of Alice Munro s How I Met My Husband
All of it is clear to a person who has understanding and right to those who have acquired knowledge.
(Proverbs 8:6 9)
Alice Munro gives a good example of the meaning of this in her story How I Met My Husband . The
theme of this story is under certain circumstances people can sometimes be blind to the truth.
The main character, Edie, provides the narration of the story from a first person point of view. She
tells her story based on an event from her past. Because she narrates the story the reader is unable to
be sure if what she tells of the other characters is completely accurate. Because one does not hear
other character s thoughts one could question whether Edie ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

She was very responsible for her age because she took care of the Peebleses two children and of their
house. Yet, she was uneducated and did not know much about love or boys. She told of how she
longed for a boyfriend or someone to kiss. Sometimes when you want things bad enough you begin to
believe they are true. For example, because Edie really wanted someone to love her, she really
believed Chris would send her a letter. However, if she would have examined his prior actions, like
how he treated Alice, Edie could have come to the conclusion that there would be no letter.
Another character important in the story was Chris. He was a soldier in the war. Supposedly, he was
engaged to Alice but from the way he treated her, one would question it. Also, he was cowardly
because he ran away from her rather than telling her how he truly felt, he said, ...A plane can get
further than a car . Also, the reader may believe he is running away from his feelings because of
something deeper. Maybe the war had injured him emotionally or mentally. These factors will
definitely make it hard to discover what is true.
Also, the character of Alice has some interesting meaning to the story. The character of Alice may be
modeled after the author Alice Munro because they have shared similar experiences between men.
Apparently, the author had been through a divorce and many of the

Rhetorical Analysis Of Child Labour By Florence Kelley
Child Labor Rhetorical Essay Florence Kelley was a social worker who lived at the end of the 19th
century and the beginning of the 20th. In a speech to the National American Woman Suffrage
Association, she stresses the importance of changing child labor laws by appealing to her audience s
emotions and ethics. She goes into detail describing the time of day and the type of work they are
doing to emphasize her argument. The speech has a sense of urgency and is a clear call to action
which form the tone of the piece. Florence Kelley uses a variety of rhetorical strategies to argue for
labor law reforms. Kelley uses a passionate tone throughout her speech. Her use of exclamation points
conveys this. In the fifth paragraph she says, In Georgia there is no restriction whatever! in reference
to children working in factories all night long. This exclamation also helps the audience to understand
the way she feels about the issue and maybe how their point view should be shifting. Near the end of
the speech she says, For the sake of the children, for the Republic in which these children will vote
after we are dead, and for the sake of our cause, we should enlist the workingmen voters, with us, in
this task of freeing the children from toil! Here she passionately argues the importance of ... Show

She also makes the audience feel bad by describing how hard the children work while they (the
audience) sleep. She says, Tonight while we sleep, several thousand little girls will be working in
textile mills, all the night through, in the deafening noise of the spindles and the looms spinning and
weaving cotton and wool, silks and ribbons for us to buy. this stark imagery invokes the plight of these
children in an attempt to get the audience to see the consequences and dangers the children face and to

Prior to calling Mr. Anderson I would review his chart for information regarding his blood pressure

needed and provided contact information. In the meantime I would gather printed material to mail to

College Is A Waste Of Time For Athletes
2.3 is the GPA a student athlete needs to be eligible for college sports (Gregorian and Wishart). It is
understandable that with a busy student athlete schedule getting all Cs or higher in school is a
challenge, but the benefits of graduating college before going to the NBA outweigh the positives of
skipping college and going straight to the pros. High School stars do not oftem look into the
advantages college provides, which is a huge mistake. While some NBA prospects feel college is a
waste of time, in reality, potential pro athletes are best served by attending college in order to prepare
them for the future. Some may argue that college is a waste of time for talented athletes due to money,
grades, and choices. Currently, athletes ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Theoretically, it would appear that athletes are more successful without college, but that is extremely
rare. First off, players considering going to the NBA will have their draft stock grow by graduating
college before going to the Pros. But in some disappointing examples, teams take gambles with
unknown teenagers and most times they do not pan out. A perfect example would be high school
phenom Leon Smith, he grew up homeless bouncing around from orphanage to orphanage, when an
NBA paycheck was placed in front of him he could not resist. The Dallas Mavericks were not aware
of Smith s tortured past when selecting him in the first round; playing only a handful amount of games
in the NBA his career did not work out (Coomes). Who knows how his career would have played out
if he went to college before the pros. Mark Tracy would agree with that story in his 2016 article where
he declares, It s no secret that the NBA would prefer most players to stay in college for longer. That
statement can be translated to the equation: longer one stays in college, higher the draft pick. Many
factors lead into scouts wanting players to compete in college for longer, one example from Kiki
Vandeweghe, Basketball operations VP for NBA, explains familiarity, The longer you stay in school
and play, the more information we would have about you... the more familiar we would be with your
game, the better predictor you can have for success.

Contemporary Issues Involving Sex Crimes
Contemporary Issues Involving Sex Crimes, Sexual Offenders, and Victims of Sexual Crimes
Heather Anderson
American Public University
Abstract
Sexual abuse is any uncontrolled sexual act in which a person is pressed or physically forced to
engage against their will, or any non consensual sexual touching of a person. A sex offender is a
person who has been convicted of certain sex crimes. A victim of a sexual crime is the subject of
unwanted sexual offenses. In order for sexual activity to be all right, both people must want it to
happen. When any person forces you to participate in any sexual act when you don t want to it is
sexual assault. Physical force is not always used to sexually assault a victim. Most victims are
assaulted by someone they know. Most offenders are male whether the victim is female or male. The
victims of sexual abuse can be males or females of any race, age, social class, appearance, or sexual
orientation. This paper will discuss some of the contemporary issues involving sex crimes, sexual
offenders, and victims of sexual crimes.
Keywords: sex crimes, victims, offenders, abuse, assault
Sex crimes can involve physical contact such as unwanted touching or no physical contact for
example, internet crimes (CSOM, 2006). Sexual abuse is unwanted contact between two or more
adults or two or more minors. Sexual abuse is sexual contact between an adult and a minor (CSOM,
2006). Sexual abuse is any unwanted sexual contact initiated by a

Water For Elephants, By Sara Gruen
Throughout time, distinguished authors have succeeded in the goal of portraying the human journey.
There has been an innumerable amount of literature published over the years; however what separates
the extraordinary books from the appalling books, is the author s ability to visually and emotionally
move their readers. In order to establish a connection to the audience, an author must understand
human experience. In Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen, two narratives are used, one of an older
Jacob, and one of a younger Jacob. This choice is made by the author to help the reader fully
comprehend the circle of life. Everyone succumbs to age sooner or later, and while many books
conclude with the narrator finding contentment at an early age, this is not the case in reality. In the real
world, most struggle to achieve fulfillment, by creating an elderly Jacob, in this case it does not
necessarily mean that a live has been fulfilled. The old aged are sometimes just as clueless as the
young. Sara Gruen discloses that the old are not very different from the young; in many cases the old
are still playing the game against the formidable opponent of life.
We are introduced to an eager and naïve Jacob in the initial stages of the novel. However, Jacob is
introduced to the cruelties of the world all too suddenly, when the death of his parents is abruptly
thrust upon him. It states, I snap out of my stupor. There are people on that train. It matters not a whit
where it s going because

Nurture Strongly Influences Early Human Development

Nurture strongly influences early human development
Introduction
While nature produces healthy, well formed infants, nurture helps in developing them in the early
stages of their lives through practice and experience. It means that the early development of a human
is effective and faster by nurture than what comes out of nature. All children go through the same
sequences of growth and development in the same order right from their mother s womb, be it the
development of parts of the body and the development of organs, motor development after birth,
development of speech, etc.. Nature leads to ordinary development of a fetus into a human but it
cannot develop an infant into a healthy minded or ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
can affect normal maturation of a fetus. So, it can be clearly noted from above that a fetus can be
completely organized and well developed only when given quality nurturing.
Influence of genetics and environment on the motor development of a child after birth
All children go through the same sequence of motor behaviors in the same order but they go through
the sequence at different rates. It is because those children who are not given attention or taken good
of (nurtured) are seen to develop in a slower rate than those who are given quality nurture. Even if a
child is born physically challenged, he/she can be trained or given physiotherapy treatment to improve
him/her to at least take care of their own selves. This clearly illustrates that practice and experience
makes a child to learn things faster and in a much better way than those children who are left
unnoticed.
Genetic and environmental influence on a child s development of speech
All human infants learn to speak in the course of normal development, but not until they have attained
a certain level of neurological development. It is applicable for both, children who are given as well as
children who are given quality nurture. As we already discussed on the motor development of a child
after birth, even here, in the case of development of speech of a child, the fact is

styles covered were; authoritative, authoritarian and permissive. It states that the parenting styles that

and parental legitimacy tends to intercede between the two. The group that were being studied
consisted of middle and high school students from the New Hampshire Youth Study . The research
included three phases (T1, T2 T3 questionnaires) in a longitudinal study that lasted about 18 months.
The results were that authoritative parenting style had a more positive association with parental

What Is The Point Of View In The Call Of The Wild
The title of the book is, The Call of the Wild. The author of the book is Jack London. Call of the Wild
is a book based on animal fiction. This book is important because it tells a story about a dog that goes

and keep trying.
The time and place The Call of the Wild takes place is in the 1890 s during the Klondike Gold Rush in
Canada. The Call of the Wild s point of view is told from third person limited omniscient. The setting
and point of view affects the story because if it was not told in 3rd person limited omniscient it would

In Time is a film directed by Andrew Niccol. The film uses a range of film techniques to show the
inequality across time zones. We see Will striving to achieve equality among society. We see how Will
experiences near death and the struggles of trying to achieve his goal. During the scene we see Will at

During the scene, we see inequality across the zones of Dayton and New Greenwich.
The director uses a range of camera techniques to show Will getting interrogated to create suspense
and a clear power struggle. We see a long shot of Will Salas when he is getting questioned by the
timekeeper Raymond Leon. Will is now suddenly trapped and is forced to be seated into a substantial
plush chair. The setting is green painted room with gold incorporated into the decor. The long shot
then transitions into a high angle shot. Through the shot, we can see guards positioned on either side
of Will. This emphasizes that Will has been ambushed and is overpowered and that they are watching
every move that Will makes. We also learn within the scene that Will is captured and cannot escape
the timekeeper as well as the guards. This contrasts back to Dayton where the bars on Will s apartment

  • 2. Clinical Reasoning Model Essay Incorporating theory into practice is very important aspect in nursing profession. Nurses employ analytical thinking and reasoning to evaluate health assessments and physical examinations. Core essences of this concept include cognition, metacognition and discipline specific knowledge (Simmons, B. 2010). The clinical reasoning model aids nurses to make clinical judgments. In the scenario of Mrs Alice Palmer, numerous investigation where taken and due to limited information more subjective data was needed as well as objective data had to be monitored constantly. Clinical reasoning whereas is a disciplined, creative and reflective approach used together with critical thinking to establish potential strategies to assist patients in reaching their desired health goals (Estes, M., Calleja, P., Theobald, K., Harvey, T. 2016). Both these skills are vital and failure to grasp and master these abilities result in adverse patient outcomes such as improper patient care, incorrect diagnose and inappropriate treatment. In that dim monument where Tybalt lies. (III. V. 198 201) Lady Capulet replies, Talk not to me, for I ll not speak a word. Do as thou wilt, for I have done with thee. The Goal By Alex Rogo Scott Moore February 23, 2015 The Goal Assignment The Goal Analysis The main character in The Goal , Alex Rogo, manages a production plant that is unprofitable and not efficient with its resources. Alex is given a short amount of time to turn the operations at the plant around and make it an efficient, successful production plant. Throughout the book, Alex Rogo speaks to Jonah a number of times and learns a great amount of information from him. The first significant time that Alex and Jonah spoke was during their chance meeting at an airport lounge. During this conversation, Alex learned a great deal about productivity and goal setting. Jonah explains to Alex that a company has one goal and that the manager must be open about the goal. Jonah then discusses the definition of productivity with Alex and tells him that the true definition is bringing a company closer to its goal that it has set. Among these concepts that Alex learned, he also learned more about his own management style and how it could be improved. Alex learned that he must question common concepts regarding managing and that he must think differently in order to be successful. The second time Alex spoke to Jonah was after finding his contact information in his old address book. During this conversation, Alex realizes that accustomed profitability measures cannot be applied to the plant he is managing and he must follow measures that better relate to his individual plant. Mark Zuckerberg is the main character in the movie and also the actual creator of Facebook. There are multiple instances, where various components of interpersonal communication are used throughout this movie. For instance, in the very beginning of the movie Zuckerberg is speaking to his girlfriend Erika, about school, which appears to be a relationship of both circumstance and choice, but uses a bit of sarcasm and conversational narcissism when speaking with her. She suggests that female male communication is cross cultural communication, with all of the challenges of communicating with people who are different from us (p. 88). Hence, the same information can affect each gender in a different way. Men often communicate to report; women often communicate to establish rapport. So the point of difference isn t in the way the sexes actually communicate but in their motivations or reasons for communicating (p. 88). The guys that received the two pictures of the girls were excited and all voted on who they considered hotter. The girls on the other hand couldn t believe that it was being sent around and were offended. Females tend to take things more literally and are likely to be more emotional than men, which should be taken in to consideration, when any interpersonal communication is taking place. During Zuckerberg s creation of Facebook he came up with the idea of relationship status , stating that this is what drives life in college. Are you having sex or aren t you? When notetaking it doesn t have to just be writing down information with pen and paper. You could simply just make a mental note in your head of something that is important and needs to be remembered. In college, every student will not be able to listen to every word being said by the professor, even if you have good memory. When notetaking during a lecture it s important to take down the key information and the concepts that you will need to remember. Of these five there are four central female characters; the Duchess of York, Richard s mother; Anne who later becomes Richard s wife; Queen Margaret who was the former queen and Richard s arch enemy and Queen Elizabeth, the current queen. The final female character who plays a minor role in the play is Queen Elizabeth s daughter, Elizabeth, but she is merely a pawn in Richard s plan and we never meet her. Queen Elizabeth is a passive character throughout most of the play until she is no longer queen. As I have already mentioned Queen Elizabeth is a victim in the play but more so than any of the other characters because her husband dies of ill health due to Richard s scheming and lies, and then her two sons are murdered due to Richard s demands, but she still stays strong enough to send her remaining son abroad to save him. Her dramatic role in Richard III is to show that evil can be overthrown. She is Richard s victim throughout until she deceives him by making him believe that he will take her young daughter in marriage I go. Whether it be lower, middle, upper, or somewhere in between, social structure has affected the lives of millions living in the U.S. for decades. Everyday life in the United States is shaped by the complex social structure. Numerous social classes divided and organized the citizens of Southern towns in the early to mid twentieth century. In Harper Lee s novel, To Kill a Mockingbird, Jem Finch says that people can be broken up into four groups: the ordinary kind , poor farmers, the unemployed poor, and blacks (Lee 258). Walter was a poor, working farmer boy of the lower class, traditionally inferior to someone like Jem, a privileged son of a respectable family. The excerpt displays the mindset of many middle to upper class whites in the 1930s: it does not matter how similar someone is to the upper class, if they come from a lower class, they will always have their original branding, and should be treated as such. Blacks in the 1930s got the short end of the stick when it came to social status. In the 1930s, middle class Negroes do better economically than do lower class whites, but they must obey the deference [respect] forms characteristic of their caste position when dealing with lower class whites (Dollard 252). The classic early 1930s class structure places them at the very bottom of the order, with little room to advance upward. This arrangement kept the white community in a position of power. Comparison Of Taming Of The Shrew And Oedipus Rex Tragedy and Comedy Rewrite In the plays The Taming of the Shrew by William Shakespeare and Oedipus Rex by Sophocles, aspects of tragedy and comedy are used to shine a spotlight on human nature and explain the reasons behind human actions. As American musician Willie Nelson once stated, Cruelty is all out of ignorance. There has been an innumerable amount of literature published over the years; however what separates the extraordinary books from the appalling books, is the author s ability to visually and emotionally move their readers. In order to establish a connection to the audience, an author must understand human experience. In Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen, two narratives are used, one of an older Jacob, and one of a younger Jacob. This choice is made by the author to help the reader fully comprehend the circle of life. Everyone succumbs to age sooner or later, and while many books conclude with the narrator finding contentment at an early age, this is not the case in reality. In the real world, most struggle to achieve fulfillment, by creating an elderly Jacob, in this case it does not necessarily mean that a live has been fulfilled. So, it can be clearly noted from above that a fetus can be completely organized and well developed only when given quality nurturing. Influence of genetics and environment on the motor development of a child after birth All children go through the same sequence of motor behaviors in the same order but they go through the sequence at different rates. It is applicable for both, children who are given as well as children who are given quality nurture. As we already discussed on the motor development of a child after birth, even here, in the case of development of speech of a child, the fact is ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
