Human Trafficking In Haiti
It s one of the biggest problems that we have , said Jean Max Bellerive, Haiti s previous prime
minster. What he s referring to is the human trafficking issue that has boomed in this country.
Human trafficking has existed in Haiti for years, destroying families and individuals. The issue
hasn t been this big until recent years, which I plan to look into. Human trafficking has become
such a huge industry not only in Haiti, but also through the whole world causing it to have such a
huge impact on global politics. What I plan to investigate is how the issue of human trafficking
affects global politics in a whole. Before going too deep into this issue, everyone should
understand what human trafficking is. Human trafficking is the illegal movement of people,
typically for the purposes of forced labor or commercial sexual exploitation. This may include
providing a spouse in a forced marriage or the extraction of organs or tissues. Yuri Fedotov, the
head of the U.N. Office on Drugs and Crime, said, At any one time, 2.4 million people suffer the
misery of this humiliating and degrading crime. It is estimated that only one out of 100 victims of
trafficking are ever rescued.
When first looking into this issue, I wondered why human trafficking has become such a huge
problem in Haiti so I tried to find some connection between the two and I what found was tragic.
On January 12, 2010 an earthquake with a magnitude of 7 hit Port au Prince devastated this country.

Rhetoric About Dating
Logos
Main Claim o We have sacrificed conversation for more connection o It is explicit and very clear.
It says it word for word in the second sentence and continues to defend it throughout the article.
Reasons o The audience is society as a whole especially those that think that connection with media
can overcome lack of conversation
accustomed to a new way of being alone together
young people who have grown up fearing conversation
connecting in sips doesn t work as well when it comes to understanding and know one another
Not too much not too little, just right o Yes, the evidence is audiencebased. It describes the
underlying reason why people rely on technology for communication so much and can be eye
opening to those not ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The underlying one is that conversation is a good thing and is necessary for proper growth in
relationships. Some may think that this lack of conversation is simply how society is and is not
necessarily a bad thing
Evidence o The Business man o The teenage boy o Senior Partner at Boston Law Firm o
Sophomore wanting to talk to robot about dating o Elderly home woman talking to robot seal o I
think the evidence is effective because it shows that this issue occurring among all generations and
all different situations. It is related back to the main claim by explaining why it is important in all
these scenarios to have real conversation with real people.
Alternative/Opposing Views o I would say most of the evidence is one sided however the
solutions provided at the end make it less one sided. Rather than saying to eliminate technology the
author says to compromise and take dedicate time and places to just set it aside for a while to have
real conversation. o I think that because it is more of a compromise the author successfully
connects with the opposing side by not completing turning them off.

Windows versus Linux
Windows, and Linux are very different operating systems that are also very similar in multiple
ways. Windows was first sold on November 20, 1985 under the name Windows 1.0. It was
revolutionary for it s time. People had been used to using command line interface to type out there
commands. Windows 1.0 allowed for them to just point and click on what they wanted. Then, along
came Linuxa few years later. Linux was revolutionary because it was Unix like and it was open
source. Open source meant that anyone could access the source code to tailor it to their liking.
This has allowed multiple different versions of Linux to be produced since then including one
called Lindows. Lindows is exactly what you would expect from the name. It is a version... Show

Linux also started with a command line interface like Windows. There are many similarities
between the two. Whether or not someone selects to use it is all based on preference. A detailed
evaluation will often reveal that Windows has more features, and is easier to sue than Linux.
When I took a survey of my peers it revealed that ninety percent of end users preferred to use
Windows over Linux. I asked these people why they preferred Windows to be given multiple
reasons. Some said that they preferred to use an operating system that was native to them since
they had grown up using Windows. Others said that they liked the features better, and liked the
innovations. When I asked about Lindows they said that it would just not be the same
especially considering that Linux in it s native form can not run .exe applications which has
become a major part of the typical end users daily application usage. Truth be told however if
someone was just going to browse the internet to check e mail, and perform other miscellaneous
tasks there is no distinction based on operating system. The major problem comes in when a user
needs to use specific applications or software made for Windows. Linux is a valuable asset if you
are looking to host a server but do not want to purchase Microsoft server which is the Windows
equivalency. It is easy to use, maintain, and valuable to any network that requires a server. When it
comes down to it both operating systems can do the same thing,

Examples Of Obsession In Land Of The Lost
Without obsession, life is little to nothing. However, when the obsession begins to take a hold of
one s life and becomes a ritual that has to be done on a regular basis, in addition to undertake the
procedure of stripping oneВґs life of everything unrelated to the obsession. This is where the
obsession it starts to get out of hand. Such an obsession plays a major role in the short storyLand of
the Lost written by Stewart OВґNan, where the reader follows a lonely woman, who has nothing
else to preoccupy herself with but to attempt to solve the mystery of where a murderer buried a
dead girl.
In Stewart OВґNan s short story Land of the Lost the reader is introduced to a woman who works
as a cashier at BI LO, a shop of some sorts. The reader is given next to noting regarding
background information about this woman, the reader does not even know of her name. The
reader gets the feeling that the woman is a healthy and ordinary person. However shortly after the
start of the short story the woman learns about the case of a missing girl, which immediately grabs
her attention, she starts to discuss the case with her customers and colleagues to the extent that she
is told to stop by her manager. Further on into the story it becomes obvious that what started as a
mere interest has turned into an obsession, which quickly takes a hold of the woman s life, the
story says; At night when she couldn t sleep she sat up in her bed and went over ... Show more

on the other hand reporting the dead body would mean that her life wound once again become

she would make sure. Then everybody would know she wasn t crazy. The only way to make sure
that everybody would know that she wasn t crazy would be to reveal where the dead body is

Revolutionary War Dbq
Some major challenges Americans faced during the War for Independence was the lack of
organization at the beginning of the war they experienced difficulty with training and organizing
the troops for war. The soldiers were always drunk and not following directions, which caused
them to accidentally kill one another. Not all American supported the war, if it was believed that
you supported the war you would be imprisoned, abused or killed. The American Revolutionary
War, caused turmoil between American colonists and the British government which lead to the
Independence of Britain. I believe the British lost because their army wasn t large enough. What

played an active role in military side of the war. Many women had to defend themselves and their

African American women. Native American women had more power than the European women.
African Americans were slaves, trying to gain freedom. Describe and explain the characteristics of

Why Is Dad Important To Me
My dad has taught me hundreds if not thousands of life lessons. They range from being
respectful to everyone to working hard and never giving up. These sorts of lessons I will carry
through my life and someday teach to my kids. He is still continuing to this day to teach me
lessons and he will continue even after I leave for college. The lessons that I am learning today
have to deal more with money. As I am entering the real world where I will have to pay for things
myself I have become more appreciative for what he has to say. I am so glad that my dad has
talked to me about how to handle money because it is an important issue to discuss. How a person
handles money and the money decisions that they make can infect their entire lives.... Show more

This applies to everyone from the CEO of a multi million dollar company to the guy who sweeps
the floor. In either situation you have to think about how you spend your money. The CEO has to
think about how to improve his company. They have to think about where their money needs to
go to help grow and improve their company. I have read lots of stories about how a CEO ran his
or her company into the ground. These people were unwise and spent money where it didn t need to
be spent. They didn t think before they spent. On the other end of the spectrum the floor sweeper
also needs to think before he spends. If he wants to have a better job, he might have to save up
and pay for night classes instead of buying those new shoes. Doing this will help him make more
money in the long run. The way that my dad taught me to do this was he would always ask me
the same question before I ever bought something. He would say Asher is this exactly what you
want? . When I was younger I would always say yes. I didn t think about my purchase and
countless times I would be disappointed. Then as I got older I did start thinking about it. If it was
exactly what I wanted I bought it and had no regrets, but if it wasn t I just didn t buy it. I now ask
myself that question before I ever buy something and it has really helped me

The Canterbury Tales In The Canterbury Tales By Geoffrey...
The Canterbury Tales by Geoffrey Chaucer is a story of a contest who can tell the best tale. The
rules of the contest were as follows: Each pilgrim would tell four tales for the trip to Canterbury,
two on the journey there and two on the way back.. The tales will be judged by the Host for it s
entertainment and moral lessons. The winner of the contest will enjoy a meal paid for by the
remaining pilgrims at the Host s Inn. The Miller s Tale had fulfilled the criteria to win the
contest. It was a shorter story, but it was entertaining and had a few lessons that can be learned
from hearing or reading it. This story is significant because it does a great job of pointing out of
some of the problems in the church during that time as well as how the morals of some people
were not strong as well. The Miller s Tale is the story of a carpenter, his lovely wife, and the two
younger gentlemen who are in love with the carpenter s wife. The carpenter, John, is married to
a much younger woman, Alison, who is considered a local beauty. To make a bit of extra money,
John rents out a room in his house to a poor but clever cleric named Nicholas, who has taken a
liking to Alison. The other man interested in Alison is a clerk named Absalon. Nicholas uses his
astrological studies to convince John to prepare for a storm so he and Alison could have the night
alone. With Nicholas and Alison alone, Absalon tries to get Alison to like him by singing to her but
she does not find him attractive.

Similarities Between Of Mice And Men
John Steinbeck is considered one of the great American authors. His novels centered on the
American landscape, particularly California. John Steinbeck s 1937 novel, Of Mice and Men, is
a classic American novel about two ranch workers who struggle to keep their dream alive. In
1992, a MGM film adaptation directed by Gary Sinise was created. As with all book to film
adaptations, many people debate over which work is better. Some say that the book is better
because it creates a mood of darkness within the reader. Although both works convey their themes
well, Steinbeck s novel has more emotional impact on readers due to its setting and mood. The
novel s setting exceeds the film s because it is meaningful and symbolic. The author utilizes the

Characters are presented differently scene to scene to change the reader s perspective of them.
For example, in the film Curley s wife is depicted as a lonely housewife who is desperate to
leave her husband. Although this characterization is accurate, the novel provides a more
complex view of her because it shows how her frustration manifests itself in her treatment of
others. One instance of her pent up anger hurting others is when she verbally attacks Crooks.
She declares, Listen, Nigger... You know what I can do to you if you open your trap?...you keep
your place, Nigger. I could get you strung up on a tree so easy it ain t even funny (Steinbeck, 79).
This moment of cruelty shows that Curley s wife has been corrupted by the evil of the world.
She hurts those who are lower than her on the social hierarchy because she believes doing so
will make people respect her. This shows that she is deeply insecure of her place in the world. The
reader comes to hate Curley s wife, until they learn more about her life. She monologues about her
dreams of becoming an actress before she dies, but her death is optimistic and bitter sweet. The
author states, ... the meanness and the plannings and the discontent and the ache for attention were
all gone from her face. She was

is through the creation of a risk management team. Risk management teams serve to protect the

it was for an episode. He was never brought in for a follow up visit. In this particular (case or

Why Overfishing Is Bad
Fishing is a great hobby for the average Joe. People fish for fun, family bonding, and to make a

There are multiple ways of protecting our oceans and keeping a balanced, ecologically diverse
population of fish. An effective way of preventing overfishing is instituting preventative legislature.
Developed and developing countries may consider passing laws that protect certain fish or certain
areas with endangered fish. Another way of preventing overfishing is to quarantine or create
sanctuaries to protect aquatic animals like the National Marine Sanctuaries, http:/

Aboriginal Health Issues Essay
Indigenous Australians have poorer health outcomes than Non Indigenous Australians due to
historical events, including Colonisation, that introduced infectious and unknown diseases, and
created intergenerational health issues, and the Stolen Generation, that has contributed to
psychosocial implications. The continuing inequities of social determinants, including but not
limited to, poor education and low socio economic status, have contributed to the poor health
outcomes of Indigenous Australians.

Tait defines social determinants as the foundations in which we arrange society, which determines
the health and wellbeing of people, these determinants include socio economic status which
influences education, employment and access to health care (2011). Employment, education and
health are intertwined, each having an effect on the other. Indigenous Australians are low on the
social gradient, with an unemployment rate of 17% and in 2011, 54% of the Indigenous population,
aged between 20 24, had a Year 12 qualification or equivalent, hence leading to poor health
outcomes that are associated with poverty (Marmot, 2011) (Australian Institute of Health and
Welfare, 2014). In a 2008 survey conducted by the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare, 1 in 4
Indigenous Australians had difficulties in accessing health care and were hospitalised for
preventable diseases, including cardiac, respiratory and metabolic condition, such as diabetes and
asthma, 4 times more often than Non Indigenous Australians (2014). Indigenous Australians are
three times as likely to have diabetes and twice as likely to show symptoms of chronic kidney
disease than Non Indigenous Australians (Australian Bureau of Statistics, 2014). Social
determinants have a detrimental affect to the health and well being of the Indigenous Australian
population.

Monument Dbq
Monuments are structures that give importance to an event, person, or place. They are designed not
only to remind people of the past, but to stir emotions in their viewer. To make them truly
monumental, monuments have many factors to consider in creation. Monuments should be well
thought out in terms of placement, motive for building, and design. In order for a monumentto get a
greater value of importance the placement of the monument is crucial. The placement of a
monument is not only important because of how populated a place is but also the relation between
the place and the monument. Even the smallest consideration to detail can make a difference in the
awe a monument inspires. For example, Source G states The vietnam veterans... Show more content

To pay tribute to one of Maine s most popular industries, the state commissioned a bronze
sculpture of a lobsterman kneeling down with his catch, to be displayed at the World s Fair in
1939. Unfortunately, the sculpture didn t quite turn out as planned. The Maine Lobsterman
sculpture was subject to many hardships before finally ending up in Washington DC. (Source F)
The Maine lobsterman s first setback was when it was being created. Maine s fund for the
monument ran out of money before it was cast. As a result, the artist ended up painting bronze
over plaster instead of casting the lobsterman in bronze. After the World s Fair no one seemed to
want the Lobsterman. The fake monument wasn t valuable to anyone and so spent forty years
homeless, being moved from place to place and ended up in a warehouse until he was saved by
the Camp Fire Girls and finally cast in bronze. Had the monument been made with the proper
material to begin with, perhaps it would not have had such a neglected history. Perhaps the real
problem is that monuments themselves may be an outdated concept. The world is changing so fast
that trying to memorialize someone or some group is mute because there will always be another
person or group coming after them doing something more. No matter where, how, or why you build

The Worldview And The Naturalistic Worldview
If one believes in the naturalistic worldview, there will be no value or purpose to life. We will
have no explanation for why we humans are here. In fact we will have no explanation for why
any maternal thing is here. Humans and other material things would be on the same level.
Humans would not be anymore more special then a rat, a flower, or stone. Also one would have no
goal to reach. He would be basically floating along subject to chance. In naturalism, there is no one
to set the standards for ethics. So where do their ethics come from? Some of the philosophers have
set standards like when Epicurus said he was not talking about sensual pleasure when he said our
highest good was to attain pleasure. The question is though, who are they to set these standards?
They have as much to base their statements off of as the man done the road who says it is okay to
attain sensual pleasures. So if something feels good to someone or makes them happy, what is to
stop them from doing it. When we take a look at abortion, what could be wrong with it? It is only
changing the course of some chance process. If it helps someone, what is to stop them from doing
it? Naturalism has nothing that can prove it wrong. Now lets compare hunting for animals and
murder of humans. What is the difference? There would be no difference, since one would not hold
any special place over the other. This means that there is nothing wrong with killing a human. In
fact, there would be nothing wrong with

Music Is A Form Of Expression And Beauty
The science or art of ordering tones or sounds in succession, combination, and temporal
relationships produce a composition having unity and continuity; in layman s terms, music. Music
is an art that has evolved for many centuries. It is a form of expression and beauty. It has come a
long way from beating rocks with sticks and listening to the sound. A drastic change took place
during the RenaissancePeriod. The instruments changed, new genres emerged, and new
composition techniques were used.
Renaissance means rebirth, and in a sense there was a rebirth. The Renaissance Period took place in
Europe during the 14th and 17th centuries. Civilization immediately following the Middle Ages,
conventionally held to have been characterized by a surge of interest in classical learning and values.

Part 1 1.What are common carriers, local exchange carriers, and interexchange carriers? A
common carrier is a private company that sells or leases communication services and facilities to
the public. Common carriers are profit oriented, and their primary products are services for voice
and data transmissions, both over traditional wired circuits as well as cellular services. Common
carriers often supply a broad range of computer based services, such as the manufacturing and
marketing of specialized communication hardware and software. A common carrier that provides

Therefore, dedicated circuits require more care in network design than switched circuits both in
terms of locations and the amount of capacity you purchase. With packet switched services, the
user again buys a connection into the common carrier cloud. The user pays a fixed fee for the
connection into the network depending upon the type and capacity of the service and is
charged for the number of packets transmitted. 13. Distinguish among T1, T2, T3, and T4
circuits. T1 circuit is sometimes called a DS 1 circuit. It provides a data rate of 1.544 Mbps. T1
circuits can be used to transmit data, but often are used to transmit both data and voice. In this
case, a time division multiplexer (TDM) provides 24 64 Kbps circuits. Digitized voice using
pulse code modulation (PCM) requires a 64 Kbps circuit so T1 circuit enables 24 simultaneous
voice channels. T2 circuit transmits data at a rate of 6.312 Mbps. Basically; it is a multiplexed
bundle of four T1 circuits. T3 circuits allow transmission at a rate of 44.376 Mbps, although
most articles refer to this rate as 45 megabits per second. This is equal to the capacity of 28 T1
circuits. T3 circuits are becoming popular as the transmission medium for corporate MANs and
WANs because of their higher data rates. At low speed, these T3 circuits can be used as 672
different 64 Kbps channels or voice channels. A T4 circuit transmits at

The Causes Of Reconstruction In The American Civil War
After the North wins the Civil War the South was in ruins. Train tracks are demolished therefore
preventing supplies to be sent to the people living in the South, and hundreds of buildings have
collapsed. Thousands are dead or injured. Everyone knows what is coming next. Reconstruction has
just begun, but how long will it last? The Civil War ended in the year 1865 and because the North
won the war slavery was abolished. Amendments thirteen, fourteen, and fifteen have been ratified.
Amendment thirteen ended slavery. Amendment fourteen gave African Americans, American
citizenship and civil rights. The fifteenth amendment made it illegal to deny someone the right to
vote based on race. (The DBQ Project 505). Reconstruction started in 1866 through 1909. A
terrorist group called the Ku Klux Klan(KKK) is a white supremacist group that was against
Reconstruction and freedom and civil rights for the African Americans. Information for this essay

Persuasive Essay On Climate Change
Statistics show that on February 2017 it was reported that from 2016 Monarch Butterfly s
population count, which was just about 150 million butterflies, nearly one third of that population
decreased. As a matter of fact, these are the results of our actions like climate change, poaching
/farming, pollution and the destruction of their habitats. As a result , it is a priority that the public
is aware of these certain situations, so that we can fix the problem with climate change with some
possible solutions.
Species Information. The Monarch Butterfly (Danaus plexippus) is a very beautiful and unique
creature who is desperate for the public s help and awareness. Like Elizabeth Goudge
mentioned, [N]ot quite birds, as they were not quite flowers, mysterious and fascinating as are
all indeterminate creatures .This species of butterfly have ten centimeter bodies from wing to
wing ; with a weight of less than half a gram. Therefore, these butterflies look pretty similar to
each other with both of them having two orange red wings with black veins and white spots
along the edges, so the way to distinguish a male from a female is by looking at noticable black
dots next to their veins and a difference in size indicating that their a male Monarch butterfly. That
being said, their estimated life span is about four to five weeks, and they live in forests and
mountains where they lay their eggs and along the way they pollinate the plants that keep them
alive.

Society is set up into a hierarchical triangle that essentially determines social class. A social class
is any person or group of people with the same educational, social or economical status. Social
class can be broken down into many different categories such as race, age, gender, economic status,
educational status and many more. Social classcan be measured in many different ways such as
financial status, family values, appearance, and demeanor. In America there are six main
economical social classeswhich are the: Very poor, Poor, Working class, Middle class
, Upper middle
class, and the ruling class.
The very poor class contains all citizens that have a very low economic status. Most have no
economic security, are unemployed, and have no education after high school. American citizens
in this class have just enough money to survive. The poor class includes any American citizen
who does not have enough money to have basic necessities. The working class includes
American citizens who have enough to provide basic needs for their family. They do not have
some of the simple luxuries; if they do; they have to save up to buy it. In the middle class, most
citizens go to college. People in the middle class do not necessarily live paycheck to paycheck,
but have enough money to spend on leisure. The next social class in America is the upper middle
class, whose citizens mainly attend private or charter schools. ( Hancock, 1998). They hold
professions such as doctors and

Compare And Contrast Phoenix And Arizona State University
Choosing the perfect college to attend, may be one of the hardest decisions a teenager will ever
have to make in their lifetime. There are many factors that one must consider in order to make the
right choice. This decision is very difficult because various schools bring many different pros and
cons to the table. Does the collegehave the sport one wants to play? Does the college have many
different clubs one can join? There is also one of the major questions one has to ask themselves,
do I want to live here for most of the year for the next four, if not more, years of my life? Two of
my choices for college are Humboldt State Universityin Arcata, California and Arizona State
University, the Downtown Phoenix Campus, in Phoenix, Arizona. Humboldt State University and

Arizona State University is located in Phoenix, Arizona where it is a very dry desert climate that
receives little to no rain each year. The high temperature can reach between 65 degrees Fahrenheit

January when the average temperature overnight is 43.4В°F. (rrsWeather.com). Phoenix s climate

more rainfall than Phoenix and its average highs and lows are very different. Arcata is dominated
by marine and coastal influences. On average, Arcata experiences 40 50 inches of rain per year,

Thus making Arcata a much more pleasant place to live year round. Therefore, Humboldt State

The Steinbeck s Book And The Migrant s Choice Of Words...
Having The Grapes of Wrath and Their Eyes Were Watching God on my library shelf occurred
because the two novels are required summer reading for my junior year language arts class. I
doubt I ever would have read Hurston s book, but Steinbeck s book is known to me. So, I took
advantage of this opportunity, to become involved with Tom Joad (and his family) and Janie
Crawford (and her grandmother and three husbands). From my reading, I saw connections with
the issues of power and self fulfillment, survival, family life and relationship, and community
connections. Both books take place in the 1930 s; one in rural Florida and the other from
Oklahoma to California. The writing style in the books relies on conversation indicative to the
identity of the characters and the setting. The initial problem I had is reading the southern dialect
spoken by the characters in Hurston s book and the migrant s choice of words and speech patterns
in Steinbeck s book. Eventually, I succumbed to it and became engaged with the character s
determination and the impact of events on their lives as the stories evolved.
Power is important in both books. For the Joads and the migrants it is confronting and dealing
with the landowners. The idea of power results in a bond between the Joads and the Wilsons, and
later incorporates the other migrant families. I see this as an example of self preservation. On the
other hand, for Janie, power of others prevents her from achieving independence and self

Animal Products Is An Integral Part Of Society
Green and Clean Pleasant aromas waft through the air as steaks sizzle gently on the grill; the
sight of this tender, juicy meat placed amply upon a serving dish incites salivation and eager
anticipation. Consumption of animal products is an integral part of society; its grasp is deep, not
only at a primal but also at a psychological level. We all have happy memories and positive
associations with Grandma s pot roast or Aunt Sue s Thanksgiving turkey. But how often do we

Industrialized nations, specifically, the United States must stop the tragic damage being done to
the planet: noxious gases released into the atmosphere, contamination of vital water resources,
annihilation of once lush, verdant land, in addition to millions of wild animals being displaced,
disheveled and often killed, this exploitation cannot continue if we wish to see a vibrant future on
this planet. Is there a way we can help our world heal? Can we in part, contribute to the alleviation
of the burden our globe finds itself bearing? Perhaps, if each individual would examine his or her
eating habits and implement small earth friendly change, the tide could turn toward a positive
rejuvenation of the environment. We have one planet on which to live, to care for, and to pass on to
future generations; thoughtful insight and consideration is warranted to secure its vibrancy and
life. It is imperative to look at alternative, healing ways, to turn earth s grim prognosis around.
Attempts made to decrease greenhouse gas emissions caused by animal agriculture would be costly
and significantly impact budget constrains across the nation and would not stop the climate change
from occurring anyway as cyclical change is inevitable in the Earth s environment. Many worry
about the monetary impact that aiding the environment would create. Stopping to

Challenges Faced By The World Today
CONCLUSION
Security is one of the major challenges that is being faced by the world today, as seen by continuous
revelations about breaches and incidents. On this note of insecurity and unpredictability, banking
industry is keen to redefine its approach to security thereby making an attempt to balance three
critical factors i.e. cost, innovation and risk. On parallel grounds, the domain of internal security is
undergoing drastic changes that mandates banking institutions to embrace new set of skills and
practices. Fraud can be categorized as a business risk it is like a sword of Damocles over a bank s
future. This must change for the good. The rapid pace with which the technology is changing, like
the recent explosion of cellular customers, is often entailed by necessary evils. An unstoppable
tsunami is engulfing banks with their employees and clients carrying their private electronic
gadgets to work. Similarly, applicants for BYOD has surged and simultaneously it accelerates the
rate of security threats, both ethically and technologically. Online banking proves to be the
antithesis of all the innovations of security professionals due to their identifiable features such as
their mobility, richness in data and susceptibility to theft.
Threat modelling and vulnerability assessment offers new insights that facilitates a more pro active
approach to security, provided organizations pay equal focus to the ever growing market of
potential threats. It should be acknowledged that

STORY COMMENTS
AMERICAN WHORE offers an intriguing inside look into the two fascinating worlds. One is the
world of prostitution and the other is the world of bank fraud. What is cleverly emphasized is that
both of these worlds are similar. While some women prostitute their self for money, so does the
government and politicians. It s an interesting comparison.
The script is driven by solid themes of greed, seduction, and corruption.
While the connection between prostitution and the government is well appreciated, the script
would benefit from more development. Some of the areas that are worthy of discussion are
structure, tone, tension, and some more character development.

Compatibilism And Free Will
Yadata Osman Dr. Robinson Survey Philosophical Thought Section 060 11/08/2015 Paper 1
Compatibilists compare free will with freedom of action which is the lack of self control. We
are free to make our own choices, and we have free will, if we are not bounded by physical
restraints. Freewill is defined as the belief that our behavior is under our own self control. A

for their actions. In this essay, I will argue that free will is not valid based on my religious

perfectly into the song On the Road Again because she can t stop going places she s never gone

Quentin has more of an explorative spirit than Margo as he explores himself, his love for Margo,

exploration develops throughout the text as Quentin s goes from exploring a new flavour of

Winter is a time of fun in the snow, hot chocolate, and resting by a warm fire. It is also a time for
viruses to run a muck. The following are a few tips to help keep the cold and flu bugs at bey. 1.
Wash your hands frequently. This is a commonly known virus fighter. Anything we touch has
been touched by others who might be carrying a virus. Frequent hand washing can keep us from
allowing these germs to enter our bodies. 2. Crack a window in your house for a few hours a day.
One of the reasons a house gets sick during the winter is because the germs have no where to go.

Side Effects Of The American Revolution
The end of the American Revolution brought about a new sense of triumph for the privileged white
male colonist but did little in the sense of improving the lives of Native Americans, African
Americans and women. In fact, improvement in the lives of these groups was an unintended side

In the beginning of the American Revolution, most Native Americans wished to remain neutral but
eventually sided with the British in hopes of preventing the American colonists from further
appropriating their land. When the American colonist won the American Revolution, the British

Role Of Julius Caesar In The Gaul
Julius Caesar s role in the Gaul had a large impact in many aspects of his career such as the
military, wealth and influence on Rome and political power. Julius Caesar was a Roman
politician who turned the Roman republic into the powerful Roman Empire. Caesar overthrew
the Roman republic and founded the rule of the emperors. In this period Caesar used the
problems to his advantage and created his own supreme political and military power, gaining the
trust of Rome and building his army. Caesar is well known throughout the whole world as one of
the most powerful and successful leaders that has ever lived. In his young years, his father had a
major impact on him, as he had political success, and the family has a history in politics, which had
helped Caesar in starting out in politics. Julius Caesars first important political success had
occurred in 63b.c.e when Caesar was appointed the role of Chief Religious office in Rome; this
had set him up for future political roles. Caesar was very strategically and had many tactics to
how he would rule; he always wanted more glory and political and military opportunities and
would overcome all challenges he faced. In 59B.C.E Caesar won an election to become consul, the
senate then assigned him to lands that gave Caesar no opportunities for military exaltation, as he
did not want Caesar to succeed. Caesar realised he would need more allies to overcome his
opponents in the senate. He then formed the alliance that was known as the First Triumviratewith
the Roman General Pompeywho brought wealth and military success. During Caesar s rule he
gained a lot of military success due to how he led his army
Military during Caesar s rule was a high contribution of his success. Military success was
important to Julius Caesar as it gave him wealth to succeed in Roman politics. It was important
was important for Caesar because it gives him enormous power in the military; this means his
army would be big and strong and would be able to protect Caesar. Success in a war gave Caesar
more glory and brought more wealth to him, and made Caesar rise more to fame. In Rome political
success brought opportunities for military command, as Julius Caesar already had much political

Three Main Factors Leading To The Fall Of Mayan Civilizations
Mayan civilization, as one of the most dominant indigenous societies throughout the history, has
never been forgotten either by historians or normal people. With its vigorous development, an
era of Golden Age began during the Classic Period. However, once untouchable, Mayan
civilization crashed in such a short time as if it had never appeared before. The collapse of
Mayan civilization is like a mystery for historians today, so they never give up searching for
evidence that caused the dramatic reversal in history. Since there was not a decisive cause led to
the fall of Mayan civilization, three main factors possibly could bring about the Maya collapse
contemporarily: drought, warfare between city states, and overpopulation. Foremost, drought plays
a dominant role in leading to the fall of Mayan civilization. Drought has always been connected
with a part of extinction because the living environment is one of the most crucial points for
survival. Drought is caused by prolonged shortages of water supply and there is no species can live
without water, so all the living factors are depending on the living environment. Mayan civilization
faced serious... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
According to a famous archaeologist, anthropologist, epigrapher Michael D. Coe s estimate, The
Maya region may have supported a population of some ten million people during the height of
the classic period. Such a large population was probably insupportable in the long run because of
the difficulties of ensuring a steady water supply and because of the limits of the region s
agricultural capacity. For those regions suffered from a water shortage, the lack of rain and
repeated crop failures make it entirely impossible for farmers, which accounts for 90 percent of the
population, to make a living. As a result, under the pressure of limited resource and living
circumstances, overpopulation explained the decline of Mayan

Why Is Tom Stoppard Unravel The Mystery Of Arcadia
I present to you a stage version of science, love, art, and the quest to unravel the mysteries of
Arcadia that is set in Sidley Park, in Derbyshire. This astonishing play has it all!
Arcadia, Tom Stoppard s greatest masterpiece of the last 20 years. For the very first time,
Stockton Empire Theatre has the pleasure of showing Stoppard s brilliant play, which he is viewed
as one of a kind.
This play shows us the tale of two centuries, shifting flawlessly between 1809 and the present day.
The love versus intellect. In 1809, a curious young Thomasina Coverly interrupts her lesson by
asking her tutor Septimus Hodge what carnal embrace is. Her ideas about mathematics, nature and
physics theories are way ahead of her time. The setting shifts to the

Hot Tin Roof
Cat on a Hot Tin Roof starts like it ends, with drama. It is set on a plantation in Mississippi and
there is never a dull moment on the plantation. Every single character has their own distinct
personality that makes the reading of this play an exciting time. Although the personalities are fun
to read about, the difference in personalities creates drama in the house. The story is centered
around the Pollitt familyas members of the family try to convince Big Daddy to leave them the
plantation when he passes. Caton a Hot Tin Roof by Tennessee Williams is an exciting play that is
focused around the drama of a Mississippi family.
The plot of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof is a very interesting one. It all starts in the main setting of the
story, Brick ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The first Character that needs to be mentioned, Brick, is the quietest and most reserved character
in the play. Brick is a former football player and a famous announcer. (Williams 149). Brick is in
a constant battle with himself throughout the whole story. This being because he has started
drinking at all times so that he can hear a click in his head and become peaceful. The reason that
he drinks is because he feels he is responsible for his friends Skipper s death. Brick s drinking is
important to the play because it shows his disinterest in almost everything that occurs during the
book. For example, while the will of Big Daddy s is being discussed, Brick is outside on the
balcony having a drink. Gooper says to Maggie during this scene Why don t you go out there
and drink with Brick? (Williams 149). This also is important because it shows that they
characters in the play realize that Brick has no interest in anything besides his drink. Brick is an
interesting character because he is the only one who does not thrive for Big Daddy s love, yet
he is the only one who receives it. Brick can also be described as a character who is disgusted.
He is disgusted with many events in this play. Cat on a Hot Tin Roof was heralded by some as
the play in which homosexuality was at last to be presented without evasion (Bentley). This
quote by critic Eric Bentley stands true because the idea of homesexuality in the play is another
reason Brick is disgusted. He is disgusted with the world for the most part because nobody
understand that his and Skipper s relationship was not a homosexual one.He states Why can t
exceptional friendship, real, real, deep, deep friendship! between two men be respected as
something clean and decent (Williams 117). This could be a reason that he is also sort of
disgusted with women. Critic Jere Huzzard says Clearly both father and son had enjoyed a physical

Interpreting Nature
Edgar Allen Poe s creation of the detective Le Chevalier C. Auguste Dupin paved the way for
detective stories. ..........................................
One of the main characteristics of successful analysis, as said by Holmes, is the ability to reason
backwards ( A Study in Scarlet ). These views reflect the thoughts of the 17th century philosopher
of science, Sir Francis Bacon. Sherlock also uses the phrase ones ideas must be as broad as nature
if they are to interpret nature. This idea of interpreting nature is also similar to Bacon s views as
Bacon writes about interpreting nature in one of his philosophical works called The Novum
Organum Scientiarium (which translates as The New Instrument of Science).

Edmond Locard was an avid reader of the Sherlock Holmes stories and was influenced very
heavily by them, so much so that he built his own forensics laboratory. He proceeded to create
Locard s Exchange Principle which explains that if two things rub upon each other for example
(or come into contact with each other) they will always leave a trace of themselves on each
other, every contact leaves a trace. Locard was very influential in the field of forensic science as
he developed the science of poroscopy which is the study of the pores in fingerprints, and also said
that if 12 points of two fingerprints matched that they were the same, i.e. a positive identification. In
A Study In Scarlet, Holmes talks about the identification of ashes and afterward Locard wrote a
paper on the identification of tobacco by a study on ashes. Locard also published a paper titled
The Analysis of Dust Traces in which he directly address the Holmes novels, saying a police

Decolonization Of The Country Of Ghana
One of the most desirable qualities to achieve is independence. Whether it be regarding intellectual,
financial, or emotional aspects of life, striving for independence continues to be a universal concept.
For the country of Ghana, independence became a necessity, and this type of freedom could only be
obtained through a process called decolonization. Decolonization is when a country removes itself
from a location it has colonized, leaving that location independent to govern over itself. The nature
of this can be problematic, due to the extensive difficulties of creating a functional country with
little time or practice. Decolonization originated from nationalist movements throughout the late
19th and early 20th century, and the observation of older colonies obtaining independence both
inspired and guided the country of Ghana to do the same. Understanding that the rewards of
decolonization far outweigh the problems it may bring is essential. The desire for decolonization
began once countries realized that the colonizing countries were not invincible. Weaknesses were
shown during World War II especially. Some of these weakness were the lack of attention and lack
of control these colonizing countries had. The colonized people s thirst for independence on top of
this vulnerability presented a perfect opportunity to begin independence movements. During the
beginning of World War II, a document named the Atlantic Charter was created. This document
described the goals of the

he was born in Italy in the little town of Venusia near the border of Apulia and Luciana, whence

important difference to annotate is Horace s father was an Italian freedman (a former slave who
has been released from slavery), but he did not get to experience that life style. For he was born
free. Horace expresses how his father was a man of a few acres, but refuses to send him to the
local school where all the boys went instead he work hard to send him to the best and exclusive

Analysis Of The Sum Of Our Follies
The Sum of Our Follies (2014) is a recent Malaysian fictional work written by Shih Li Kow. It is
a regional piece a addressing the most conspicuous thrillers of place s meaning and literary
imagination. The story hinges upon several episodes in a small town called Lubok Sayong and
other replaces. Furthermore, the plot includes a number of perennial actions which perpetuate the
token of proximity shared by the lives of Lubok Sayong s inhabitants who reciprocate their visions
in an agnate perspective on life. It is an inherent call for the common sense of human individuality
in a collective place uniting different ways of life. These people are the authentic human
phenomenon in a fictional setting. In fact, the story depicts real life images, such as contemporary
Malaysian peripheries; and challenged once again by socio cultural apathy, the specter of the story
s fictional pluralism and the affectionate buoyancy of Shih Li Kow who seems particularly
instructive (Cross, 2006: 49).
The novel tells the story of a middle aged man called Auyong, or the narrator, and an orphan girl
Mary Anne. Auyong leaves his city and job as a supermarket manger in order to work in the town s
lychee canning factory. This circulates his destitution as a human being seeking perfection ... Show

The Canadian Human Rights Act
Introduction
Discrimination is an action or decision that treats a person or group negatively for reasons such as
their race, sex, age or disability (Ministry of Justice [DOJ], 1985). Under the Canadian human right
act, there are 11 grounds a person may be discriminated against. These include race, national or
ethnic origin, colour, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, family status, disability
and a conviction for which a pardon has been granted or a record suspended (DOJ, 1985).
Employment discrimination happens when an employee is treated unfavorably because of said
characteristics by employers. It is illegal to discriminate in any aspect of employment, and this
extends beyond just hiring and firing. Society progresses and becomes enlightened overtime, but
discrimination is still quite common. There are many ways that a person could be discriminated
against. The Canadian Human Rights Act calls these discriminatory practices (DOJ, 1985).
Examples of said practices include: Excluding potential employees during recruitment, paying
equally qualified employees in the same position different salaries, discrimination when issuing
promotions or lay offs, etc. Left unattended, discrimination in the workplace can be costly. Victims
suffer and employers experience a loss of productivity, leading to damaged employee morals, and
loss of profit. This report will outline the most common types of discrimination encountered in the
work place, the problem they cause,

Shakespeare Hermione Analysis
Shakespeare presents Hermione as a remarkable woman starting from her first utterance, the
personal pronoun I . This drives the audience to believe she is independent, which connotes to
freedom, allowing her to say to Leontes you, sir, charge him too coldly . Also, this would have
shocked traditional audiences as womanwere inferior and were reliant on men as they were
essentially possessions. Also, she only talks when Leontes says speak you , as a defence in court
she said she loved Polixenes even so and no other than Leontes commanded . Furthermore, she
addresses Leontes as sir not by his personal name meaning he s superior showing Hermione s
inferiority. Hermione could be argued as normal as woman had no rights. As Hermione was
impertinent to Leontes saying you, sir, judge him too coldly . This would have shocked the
traditional audiencebut instead of telling Hermione off Leontes congratulates her saying well said
Hermione . This shows Leontes and Hermione s love. Shakespeare shows Hermione to be the
better person and Leontes as the tragic hero. Shakespeare could be being counter cultural
conveying kings are corruptible not (as believed in culture starting with James the 1) infallible.
Shakespeare is objecting to the divine rights of kings using Leontes as he is not adhering to this
concept. Shakespeare does this in most of his plays under king James for example in Macbeth king
Duncan makes a mistake (culturally unthinkable). Shakespeare uses a semantic

Interface diversity: a variant connection mechanism is offered for programmers and data base
managers; it also supports RESTfull APIs.
Persistence design: a very fast memory system of the servers is used to keep the entire database.
Eventual consistency: Basically Available Soft state and Eventual Consistency known as BASE is
the used mechanism to ensure the consistency of data, rather than Atomicity, consistency of

  • 2. Human Trafficking In Haiti It s one of the biggest problems that we have , said Jean Max Bellerive, Haiti s previous prime minster. What he s referring to is the human trafficking issue that has boomed in this country. Human trafficking has existed in Haiti for years, destroying families and individuals. The issue hasn t been this big until recent years, which I plan to look into. Human trafficking has become such a huge industry not only in Haiti, but also through the whole world causing it to have such a huge impact on global politics. What I plan to investigate is how the issue of human trafficking affects global politics in a whole. Before going too deep into this issue, everyone should understand what human trafficking is. Human trafficking is the illegal movement of people, typically for the purposes of forced labor or commercial sexual exploitation. This may include providing a spouse in a forced marriage or the extraction of organs or tissues. Yuri Fedotov, the head of the U.N. Office on Drugs and Crime, said, At any one time, 2.4 million people suffer the misery of this humiliating and degrading crime. It is estimated that only one out of 100 victims of trafficking are ever rescued. When first looking into this issue, I wondered why human trafficking has become such a huge problem in Haiti so I tried to find some connection between the two and I what found was tragic. On January 12, 2010 an earthquake with a magnitude of 7 hit Port au Prince devastated this country. Over 188,383 houses ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Rhetoric About Dating Logos Main Claim o We have sacrificed conversation for more connection o It is explicit and very clear. It says it word for word in the second sentence and continues to defend it throughout the article. Reasons o The audience is society as a whole especially those that think that connection with media can overcome lack of conversation accustomed to a new way of being alone together young people who have grown up fearing conversation connecting in sips doesn t work as well when it comes to understanding and know one another Not too much not too little, just right o Yes, the evidence is audiencebased. The underlying one is that conversation is a good thing and is necessary for proper growth in relationships. Some may think that this lack of conversation is simply how society is and is not necessarily a bad thing Evidence o The Business man o The teenage boy o Senior Partner at Boston Law Firm o Sophomore wanting to talk to robot about dating o Elderly home woman talking to robot seal o I think the evidence is effective because it shows that this issue occurring among all generations and all different situations. It is related back to the main claim by explaining why it is important in all these scenarios to have real conversation with real people. Alternative/Opposing Views o I would say most of the evidence is one sided however the solutions provided at the end make it less one sided. Rather than saying to eliminate technology the author says to compromise and take dedicate time and places to just set it aside for a while to have real conversation. o I think that because it is more of a compromise the author successfully connects with the opposing side by not completing turning them off. • 4. Windows versus Linux Windows, and Linux are very different operating systems that are also very similar in multiple ways. Windows was first sold on November 20, 1985 under the name Windows 1.0. It was revolutionary for it s time. People had been used to using command line interface to type out there commands. Windows 1.0 allowed for them to just point and click on what they wanted. Then, along came Linuxa few years later. Linux was revolutionary because it was Unix like and it was open source. Open source meant that anyone could access the source code to tailor it to their liking. This has allowed multiple different versions of Linux to be produced since then including one called Lindows. Lindows is exactly what you would expect from the name. It is a version... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Linux also started with a command line interface like Windows. There are many similarities between the two. Whether or not someone selects to use it is all based on preference. A detailed evaluation will often reveal that Windows has more features, and is easier to sue than Linux. When I took a survey of my peers it revealed that ninety percent of end users preferred to use Windows over Linux. I asked these people why they preferred Windows to be given multiple reasons. Some said that they preferred to use an operating system that was native to them since they had grown up using Windows. Others said that they liked the features better, and liked the innovations. When I asked about Lindows they said that it would just not be the same especially considering that Linux in it s native form can not run .exe applications which has become a major part of the typical end users daily application usage. Truth be told however if someone was just going to browse the internet to check e mail, and perform other miscellaneous tasks there is no distinction based on operating system. The major problem comes in when a user needs to use specific applications or software made for Windows. Linux is a valuable asset if you are looking to host a server but do not want to purchase Microsoft server which is the Windows equivalency. It is easy to use, maintain, and valuable to any network that requires a server. When it comes down to it both operating systems can do the same thing, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

However, when the obsession begins to take a hold of one s life and becomes a ritual that has to be done on a regular basis, in addition to undertake the procedure of stripping oneВґs life of everything unrelated to the obsession. The soldiers were always drunk and not following directions, which caused them to accidentally kill one another. Not all American supported the war, if it was believed that you supported the war you would be imprisoned, abused or killed. The American Revolutionary War, caused turmoil between American colonists and the British government which lead to the Independence of Britain. • 7. Why Is Dad Important To Me My dad has taught me hundreds if not thousands of life lessons. They range from being respectful to everyone to working hard and never giving up. These sorts of lessons I will carry through my life and someday teach to my kids. He is still continuing to this day to teach me lessons and he will continue even after I leave for college. The lessons that I am learning today have to deal more with money. As I am entering the real world where I will have to pay for things myself I have become more appreciative for what he has to say. I am so glad that my dad has talked to me about how to handle money because it is an important issue to discuss. How a person handles money and the money decisions that they make can infect their entire lives.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This applies to everyone from the CEO of a multi million dollar company to the guy who sweeps the floor. In either situation you have to think about how you spend your money. The CEO has to think about how to improve his company. They have to think about where their money needs to go to help grow and improve their company. I have read lots of stories about how a CEO ran his or her company into the ground. These people were unwise and spent money where it didn t need to be spent. They didn t think before they spent. On the other end of the spectrum the floor sweeper also needs to think before he spends. If he wants to have a better job, he might have to save up and pay for night classes instead of buying those new shoes. Doing this will help him make more money in the long run. The way that my dad taught me to do this was he would always ask me the same question before I ever bought something. He would say Asher is this exactly what you want? . When I was younger I would always say yes. I didn t think about my purchase and countless times I would be disappointed. Then as I got older I did start thinking about it. If it was exactly what I wanted I bought it and had no regrets, but if it wasn t I just didn t buy it. I now ask myself that question before I ever buy something and it has really helped me ... • 8. The Canterbury Tales In The Canterbury Tales By Geoffrey... The Canterbury Tales by Geoffrey Chaucer is a story of a contest who can tell the best tale. The rules of the contest were as follows: Each pilgrim would tell four tales for the trip to Canterbury, two on the journey there and two on the way back.. The tales will be judged by the Host for it s entertainment and moral lessons. The winner of the contest will enjoy a meal paid for by the remaining pilgrims at the Host s Inn. The Miller s Tale had fulfilled the criteria to win the contest. It was a shorter story, but it was entertaining and had a few lessons that can be learned from hearing or reading it. This story is significant because it does a great job of pointing out of some of the problems in the church during that time as well as how the morals of some people were not strong as well. The Miller s Tale is the story of a carpenter, his lovely wife, and the two younger gentlemen who are in love with the carpenter s wife. The carpenter, John, is married to a much younger woman, Alison, who is considered a local beauty. To make a bit of extra money, John rents out a room in his house to a poor but clever cleric named Nicholas, who has taken a liking to Alison. The other man interested in Alison is a clerk named Absalon. Nicholas uses his astrological studies to convince John to prepare for a storm so he and Alison could have the night alone. • 9. Similarities Between Of Mice And Men John Steinbeck is considered one of the great American authors. His novels centered on the American landscape, particularly California. John Steinbeck s 1937 novel, Of Mice and Men, is a classic American novel about two ranch workers who struggle to keep their dream alive. In 1992, a MGM film adaptation directed by Gary Sinise was created. As with all book to film adaptations, many people debate over which work is better. Some say that the book is better because it creates a mood of darkness within the reader. Although both works convey their themes well, Steinbeck s novel has more emotional impact on readers due to its setting and mood. The novel s setting exceeds the film s because it is meaningful and symbolic. The author utilizes the California... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Characters are presented differently scene to scene to change the reader s perspective of them. For example, in the film Curley s wife is depicted as a lonely housewife who is desperate to leave her husband. Although this characterization is accurate, the novel provides a more complex view of her because it shows how her frustration manifests itself in her treatment of others. One instance of her pent up anger hurting others is when she verbally attacks Crooks. She declares, Listen, Nigger... You know what I can do to you if you open your trap?...you keep your place, Nigger. I could get you strung up on a tree so easy it ain t even funny (Steinbeck, 79). This moment of cruelty shows that Curley s wife has been corrupted by the evil of the world. She hurts those who are lower than her on the social hierarchy because she believes doing so will make people respect her. This shows that she is deeply insecure of her place in the world. The reader comes to hate Curley s wife, until they learn more about her life. She monologues about her dreams of becoming an actress before she dies, but her death is optimistic and bitter sweet. The author states, ... the meanness and the plannings and the discontent and the ache for attention were all gone from her face. She was ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

In order for a monumentto get a greater value of importance the placement of the monument is crucial. (Source F) The Maine lobsterman s first setback was when it was being created. Maine s fund for the monument ran out of money before it was cast. • 15. The Worldview And The Naturalistic Worldview If one believes in the naturalistic worldview, there will be no value or purpose to life. We will have no explanation for why we humans are here. In fact we will have no explanation for why any maternal thing is here. Humans and other material things would be on the same level. Humans would not be anymore more special then a rat, a flower, or stone. Also one would have no goal to reach. He would be basically floating along subject to chance. In naturalism, there is no one to set the standards for ethics. So where do their ethics come from? Some of the philosophers have set standards like when Epicurus said he was not talking about sensual pleasure when he said our highest good was to attain pleasure. The question is though, who are they to set these standards? They have as much to base their statements off of as the man done the road who says it is okay to attain sensual pleasures. So if something feels good to someone or makes them happy, what is to stop them from doing it. When we take a look at abortion, what could be wrong with it? It is only changing the course of some chance process. If it helps someone, what is to stop them from doing it? Naturalism has nothing that can prove it wrong. Now lets compare hunting for animals and murder of humans. What is the difference? There would be no difference, since one would not hold any special place over the other. This means that there is nothing wrong with killing a human. In fact, there would be nothing wrong with ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

T1 circuits can be used to transmit data, but often are used to transmit both data and voice. In this case, a time division multiplexer (TDM) provides 24 64 Kbps circuits. Digitized voice using pulse code modulation (PCM) requires a 64 Kbps circuit so T1 circuit enables 24 simultaneous voice channels. T2 circuit transmits data at a rate of 6.312 Mbps. A social class is any person or group of people with the same educational, social or economical status. Social class can be broken down into many different categories such as race, age, gender, economic status, educational status and many more. Social classcan be measured in many different ways such as financial status, family values, appearance, and demeanor. In America there are six main economical social classeswhich are the: Very poor, Poor, Working class, Middle class , Upper middle class, and the ruling class. The very poor class contains all citizens that have a very low economic status. Most have no economic security, are unemployed, and have no education after high school. American citizens in this class have just enough money to survive. The poor class includes any American citizen who does not have enough money to have basic necessities. The working class includes American citizens who have enough to provide basic needs for their family. They do not have some of the simple luxuries; if they do; they have to save up to buy it. In the middle class, most citizens go to college. People in the middle class do not necessarily live paycheck to paycheck, but have enough money to spend on leisure. The next social class in America is the upper middle class, whose citizens mainly attend private or charter schools. ( Hancock, 1998). They hold professions such as doctors and ... Having The Grapes of Wrath and Their Eyes Were Watching God on my library shelf occurred because the two novels are required summer reading for my junior year language arts class. I doubt I ever would have read Hurston s book, but Steinbeck s book is known to me. So, I took advantage of this opportunity, to become involved with Tom Joad (and his family) and Janie Crawford (and her grandmother and three husbands). From my reading, I saw connections with the issues of power and self fulfillment, survival, family life and relationship, and community connections. Both books take place in the 1930 s; one in rural Florida and the other from Oklahoma to California. The writing style in the books relies on conversation indicative to the identity of the characters and the setting. The initial problem I had is reading the southern dialect spoken by the characters in Hurston s book and the migrant s choice of words and speech patterns in Steinbeck s book. Eventually, I succumbed to it and became engaged with the character s determination and the impact of events on their lives as the stories evolved. Power is important in both books. For the Joads and the migrants it is confronting and dealing with the landowners. The idea of power results in a bond between the Joads and the Wilsons, and later incorporates the other migrant families. Three Main Factors Leading To The Fall Of Mayan Civilizations Mayan civilization, as one of the most dominant indigenous societies throughout the history, has never been forgotten either by historians or normal people. With its vigorous development, an era of Golden Age began during the Classic Period. However, once untouchable, Mayan civilization crashed in such a short time as if it had never appeared before. The collapse of Mayan civilization is like a mystery for historians today, so they never give up searching for evidence that caused the dramatic reversal in history. Since there was not a decisive cause led to the fall of Mayan civilization, three main factors possibly could bring about the Maya collapse contemporarily: drought, warfare between city states, and overpopulation. Foremost, drought plays a dominant role in leading to the fall of Mayan civilization. Drought has always been connected with a part of extinction because the living environment is one of the most crucial points for survival. The reason that he drinks is because he feels he is responsible for his friends Skipper s death. Brick s drinking is important to the play because it shows his disinterest in almost everything that occurs during the book. For example, while the will of Big Daddy s is being discussed, Brick is outside on the balcony having a drink. Gooper says to Maggie during this scene Why don t you go out there and drink with Brick? • 46. Decolonization Of The Country Of Ghana One of the most desirable qualities to achieve is independence. Whether it be regarding intellectual, financial, or emotional aspects of life, striving for independence continues to be a universal concept. For the country of Ghana, independence became a necessity, and this type of freedom could only be obtained through a process called decolonization. Decolonization is when a country removes itself from a location it has colonized, leaving that location independent to govern over itself. The nature of this can be problematic, due to the extensive difficulties of creating a functional country with little time or practice. Decolonization originated from nationalist movements throughout the late 19th and early 20th century, and the observation of older colonies obtaining independence both inspired and guided the country of Ghana to do the same. Understanding that the rewards of decolonization far outweigh the problems it may bring is essential. The desire for decolonization began once countries realized that the colonizing countries were not invincible. Weaknesses were shown during World War II especially. Some of these weakness were the lack of attention and lack of control these colonizing countries had. The colonized people s thirst for independence on top of this vulnerability presented a perfect opportunity to begin independence movements. • 53. Shakespeare Hermione Analysis Shakespeare presents Hermione as a remarkable woman starting from her first utterance, the personal pronoun I . This drives the audience to believe she is independent, which connotes to freedom, allowing her to say to Leontes you, sir, charge him too coldly . Also, this would have shocked traditional audiences as womanwere inferior and were reliant on men as they were essentially possessions. Also, she only talks when Leontes says speak you , as a defence in court she said she loved Polixenes even so and no other than Leontes commanded . Furthermore, she addresses Leontes as sir not by his personal name meaning he s superior showing Hermione s inferiority. Hermione could be argued as normal as woman had no rights. As Hermione was impertinent to Leontes saying you, sir, judge him too coldly . This would have shocked the traditional audiencebut instead of telling Hermione off Leontes congratulates her saying well said Hermione . This shows Leontes and Hermione s love. Shakespeare shows Hermione to be the better person and Leontes as the tragic hero. Shakespeare could be being counter cultural conveying kings are corruptible not (as believed in culture starting with James the 1) infallible. Shakespeare does this in most of his plays under king James for example in Macbeth king Duncan makes a mistake (culturally unthinkable). Shakespeare uses a semantic ... • 54. An Emerging Class Of Non Relational Database Management... NOSQL is an emerging class of non relational database, used to handle Big Data, it stands for Not Only SQL which solve the problem of processing unstructured data, considering that this non relational database does not use a schema, and does not relay on the table/key model used in RDBMSs (Relational DataBaseManagement System). NOSQL have the following characteristic: Scalability: the competence to store data across multiple data stores simultaneously, moreover enlarge and decrease the size of data stores in response to the need. All these operations must be invisible to the end users. Data and Query model: a specific framework are used in SQL to store data, in addition data are access intelligently with a requisite set of query APIs. Interface diversity: a variant connection mechanism is offered for programmers and data base managers; it also supports RESTfull APIs. Persistence design: a very fast memory system of the servers is used to keep the entire database. Eventual consistency: Basically Available Soft state and Eventual Consistency known as BASE is the used mechanism to ensure the consistency of data, rather than Atomicity, consistency of Isolation, Durability ACID used in RDBMS. The main technology under NoSQL are: Key Value Pair Store, Document Oriented Databases, and Graph databases. a)Key Value Pair Store: KVP is the simplest od NoSQL databases, uses to store huge amount of data, it employs the Key Value Pair model.
