The American Revolution was an inevitable uprising of the oppressed colonies in British North
America. After years of unnecessary taxation and overbearing laws from the royal crown, the
colonist began to show civil disobedience against their mother country. Both countries had tension
left after the French and Indian War. There was different views about who should pay for the war
debts. The revolutionary war was fought over the increased political, economic, and social control
over the colonies by England.
As a result of England being a major political power of this time period, they showed it in their

Well, it was not long before my mom was disappointed in me. My first week here I actually got
myself in debt and my parents were furious at me. They told me in a serious tone that if that ever
happens again, I will have to make myself money. Money management has already gotten me by
the tail. Back at home, I could spend money here and there because I had a job and was getting
paid weekly. Unemployed now because of moving to Statesboro, I only get 35$ put on my debit
card a week. My spending that week was on three meals from Zaxbys and my money was gone.

Out, Out is a poem written by the late Robert Frost. It depicts the harsh death of a young farm
boy due to an accident caused by a saw. The title of the poem derives from a speech in the famous

that the buzzsaw never did anything of the manner. This in turn further adds to the overall shock
value of the poem, and makes for a devastatingly horrific description of the buzzsaw and the
accident.
Overall, the writer succeeds in creating a sense of horror through the poem by using many different
and useful techniques. He uses descriptive words, phrases and techniques such as caesura, iambic
pentameter and more, gradually reveals the gravity of the accident through changing the tone, and
presents the buzzsaw in a scary manner by using emotive language and dramatic phrases. All of
this makes the poem ever more frightful and horrific. All in all, Robert Frost has succeeded in not
only making the poem more horrific, but giving it more life
