KINGFISHER – THE KING OF GOOD TIMES
Overview
Amidst stiff competition, Kingfisher was looking to reinforce its position as ‘The King of Good Times’
among pub-hopping patrons on one of the busiest days of the year – Valentine’s Day. They needed a
tactical solution. They needed a creative team who were strong in strategy as well as delivery.
The Circuit 9 Idea
We assessed the situation, did our intensive research and came up with a BTL marketing strategy
centered on one simple yet thoughtful concept – that every king, even the mightiest and grumpiest,
needs a queen. We came up with a ‘Pick your Queen’ campaign for Valentine’s Day. Hardened beer
guzzlers with grizzly edges had to, for once, clean up their act and put their best foot forward.
The Outcome
The ‘Pick your Queen’ strategy brilliantly complemented Kingfisher’s iconic ‘King of Good Times’ tagline.
The line was relevant to both the occasion and the brand. Kingfisher achieved a significant amount of
social media shares in the Bangalore area – a city known for its thriving pub culture. Our BTL marketing
strategy generated such a buzz that Kingfisher decided to repackage and reuse this tactical marketing
gimmick for multiple events like ‘Beeryani’.

TOYOTA – WORLD CLASS AUTOMOBILE MANUFACTURER
Overview
Toyota’s customers were flocking to third party service centers instead of using Toyota’s very own
leading-edge in-house service center for vehicles, thus diminishing their customer base. Toyota needed
to reinforce its brand image and reaffirm customer loyalty. They needed a marketing solution driven by
the right strategy.

We partnered with Toyota and engaged the audience in classic brand priming. We capitalized on the
festive season of ‘Dussera’ by offering special incentives like lucky draws, discounts and presents – to
cash in on the ‘festival mood’ of previously less-eager customers. Supporting collaterals like banners and
tent cards ended up turning a lot of heads towards Toyota.
The Outcome
Toyota’s in-house service center witnessed a phenomenal increase in customer attendance. Brand
visibility improved across the festive season of Dussera. Our marketing solutions helped Toyota

TALLY INSTITUTE OF LEARNING – HIGH QUALITY TRAINING
Overview
TIL needed to connect with their target group, wholly comprised of students in tier two cities, and
communicate their message clearly – that TIL offers ‘another’ path into the job market. Traditional
academic systems often don’t tap into the innate potential of their students, but that doesn’t mean
students who underperform should lose hope. TIL applies innovative learning and equips its students
with industry-relevant skills to make them job ready. However, awareness of other avenues into the job
market was seriously lacking.
The Circuit 9 Idea
We came up with a BTL strategy, centered on the concept of being ‘job ready’, to give prospective
students a better idea of what TIL is all about and the possibilities it presents to those who seek an
alternate path into the job market. Our strategic efforts were executed in tier two cities with supporting
collaterals like press ads, EDMs and hoardings to improve visibility and direct students to TIL’s website.
The Outcome
Our strategic BTL solution, powered by cutting-edge design and catchy, creative copy gained significant
traction among prospective students. Thanks to our targeted marketing efforts, footfalls improved
dramatically and the number of enquiries multiplied tenfold. TIL’s visibility also increased in the physical
space through the use of supporting collaterals, thereby consolidating brand recall in tier two cities as

HELER – SKIN, HAIR AND LIFESTYLE CLINIC
Overview
Not the usual beauty salon, Heler offers exclusive and carefully-crafted lifestyle solutions that cater to individuals
with considerable purchasing power. Heler needed a strategic partner who would come up with innovative ways
to penetrate a fairly saturated market. It has five competitors or more within a two kilometer radius itself. Brand
differentiation was always going to be key. In order to thrive in this hyper-competitive landscape, Heler needed to
establish a unique identity and stand out among the crowd.
The Circuit 9 Idea
We understood that in order to penetrate a highly saturated market, we would need to launch Heler in a manner
that made maximum impact, and that’s exactly what we did. We organized a beauty pageant on launch day,
attended by renowned medical and beauty experts who were also judges for the evening. We leveraged the
‘medically-driven’ aspect of Heler as a key differentiator, which would showcase their products in a much more
credible light, being clinically-proven and backed by medical experts. We also suggested that Heler conduct free
treatment for acid attack victims and prove that there are viable medical solutions for one of the country’s worst
epidemics.
The Outcome
The brand launch was a resounding success that made a lot of buzz on social media. We achieved the desired
visibility on launch day through the various events organized and the personalities that were present. We placed
Heler on a different pedestal by leveraging the ‘medically-driven, clinically-proven’ aspect of their products and
solutions, as opposed to generic beauty salons. Our strategic marketing tactics played a key role in differentiation.
The free treatment provided to acid attack victims was adjudged to be a notable effort that brought some relief to
dejected victims, and Heler continues to fight for their cause. All in all, Heler made its mark with a bang and got
off to a flying start.

A first-mover in its category, Violet 3D wanted to introduce the real theater experience at home.
Completely wireless, this next-generation immersive surround sound system was long overdue in the

We made full use of our design thinking capabilities to give Violet 3D a futuristic look-and-feel.
Moreover, the design elements were supported by killer taglines like ‘Go from living room to multiplex’

from chic magazines to massive hoardings outside the Bengaluru International Airport. Based on our

Violet 3D.

Overview
The Rotary Club, Bangalore, was approaching an important milestone and it needed creatives that

all, it’s not every day that an institution like Rotary turns 25.

We artfully designed a coffee table book that would do justice to this momentous occasion. The coffee
table book was titled – ‘The greatest few amongst the billions’. With a posh look-and-feel, we
highlighted some of Rotary’s greatest achievements in the last quarter of a century, and spoke about
some of its most noteworthy members.
The Outcome
The Rotary Club was delighted with the coffee table book and it received stellar reviews from
Roatarians. Our design capabilities clearly stood out and received commendation from some of the

HINDUSTAN AERONAUTICS LIMITIED – AEROSPACE AND DEFENCE
Overview
Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), a state-owned company with an illustrious history, was
approaching a significant milestone. HAL was turning 75 and they wanted a creative solution that would
reflect its prestige and achievements to the world.

We pitched the idea of a sleek corporate brochure commemorating HAL’s diamond jubilee. After a
multi-agency pitch, our idea was selected to be the official organization literature of the aerospace and
defence heavyweight. Our team got to work and leveraged their design thinking capabilities to ensure
that 75 years’ worth of goodwill and excellence was aptly captured into a single consolidated brochure.
The Outcome
We received considerable praise from HAL as they were delighted with the look-and-feel of the
brochure. Indeed, they were so pleased that they even asked us to work on other collaterals, including
leaflets and official company newsletters. It was the perfect platform to forge a lasting relationship with
an industry giant.

MUFFETS AND TUFFETS – BAKERS AND CONFECTIONERS
Overview
There was a new baker in town, and it needed to make a solid impact in a city where a new baker, be it
artisan, gourmet or home-style, pops up on every other block. Our biggest challenge was to integrate
various aspects of Muffets & Tuffets’ business into a single operation that would help them expand their
wholesale operations, thus fulfilling their immediate business-critical marketing objectives.

We got to the drawing board and came up with a unified brand strategy as the way forward, where they
would integrate all of their products under one umbrella brand, that is the ‘Muffet and Tuffets’ name
itself. This move would increase overall brand recall and improve brand consistency as well.

After the implementation of our end-to-end marketing tactics, M&T witnessed heightened brand
awareness by over 10 percent. We cemented the name in the hearts and minds of consumers and

Overview
Trusted and renowned newspaper, ‘Times of India’ was looking for a quick turnaround time with regard
to some of their creative concepts. TOI wanted to design a captivating new campaign over an extended
period of time, covering different occasions of relevant significance, and they needed an agency that
could deliver quick adaptations within the stipulated timeframe.

Already having worked on a spectrum of campaigns, our experienced team had the capability and
flexibility to deliver quick adaptations during the busy election season, when TOI was in full swing with
the “Ungli Uthao, Discount Pao” campaign, which proved to be a hit! We also nailed quick delivery for
executables during the “Har Pal Dhan-aa-Dhan” campaign. Our considerable efforts have helped TOI
navigate extremely busy periods quite seamlessly.

Overview
DNR Corporation, an emerging property developer, wanted to launch a campaign that would gain
significant traction and raise awareness about their new, upcoming property in the eyes of the general
public. The property was set to be unveiled in Whitefield.

We launched a strategic end-to-end campaign, starting right from branding the property itself. We
suggested ‘DNR Reflection’, and they loved it. ‘Reflection’ because it reflects everything the company
stands for – quality, luxury and service. The tagline chosen for the campaign was ‘The art of building
spaces’, complemented by a clean and crisp design that would strike a chord with the audience.

Wild Haven needed to reach out to their target group and highlight their USPs by integrating it in their

web space, meaning they wanted to be persuasive without being pushy.

We leveraged the ‘wildlife / proximity to nature’ USP by redesigning their logo based on famous local
wildlife in the area. We also gave their website a makeover to improve UI and make the website more
accessible. We integrated a nature-centric strategy in our design and marketing efforts through and

We were given the mandate to deliver collaterals or a collection of curated media for DIABU that would

Overview
Superprofs, an online platform for learning, was looking to build brand awareness amongst a young,
ambitious audience, and capture a chunk of the existing market share from more established players
in the field.

Given the mandate, we engaged in direct marketing and designed their logos, posters and other
collaterals, which were displayed across the city. The brand tagline chosen was, ‘We prepare you in
just one subject: SUPER CONFIDENCE’.
The Outcome
Brand recall improved massively across the city. Despite huge competition in the market, people’s
awareness about SuperProfs was on the rise. Through our integrated marketing efforts, we were

AUNTIE FUNG’S – AUTHENTIC AND FLAVORFUL ASIAN STREET FOOD
Overview
Auntie Fung’s, the new pan-Asian food joint had quickly become a local favourite. Now, it needed to
scale up by refocusing the brand’s strategies and placing an emphasis on the variety of their menu and
the cuisine served, which is a whole lot more than just Thai and Chinese, an unprecedented feat. for a
QSR establishment in Bangalore.
The Circuit 9 Idea
We created a relatable, people-friendly mascot to give Auntie Fung’s the edge over other QSR
establishments in the city. We also focused our communication strategies on Southeast Asian cuisine as
a whole with a particular proclivity for ‘power lunches’, ‘breaking midday monotony at work’, and so
on.
The Outcome
The brand gained significant visibility as a QSR establishment. Thanks to our social media marketing
efforts, it made leaps and bounds in the digital space with a heavy increase in ‘likes’ and ‘shares’. The
mascot (Auntie Fung’s) enhanced brand recall in the minds of consumers and added a personal, soulful
touch to the food served, which is always a winner in the food industry.

SNOW CITY – ICE & SNOW THEMED INDOOR PARK
Overview
Snow City, a unique ice- and snow-themed amusement park, was having a little trouble communicating
the real fun aspects of what they offered their customers and how different the ‘Snow City’ experience
was from other amusement parks. Previous communications lacked a certain targeted marketing
strategy, and this is where Circuit 9 came in to change the game.
The Circuit 9 Idea
We were personally thrilled with the idea of Snow City. We thought it needed to stand head and
shoulders above the crowd, so much so that its competitors should look ordinary when compared to
Snow City. We leveraged its USP, which was unique indeed, and translated it into creative designs in
print and outdoor branding as well. We designed hoardings, brochures, leaflets and a whole lot more to
flood the hearts and minds of customers.
The Outcome
Our design efficiency and marketing prudence struck a chord with the target audience, who recognized
the uniqueness of Snow City and all the fun that could be had there. We improved brand visibility as well

Overview
Our shared challenge for this project was to design and execute a collection of integrated marketing
tools to support the sales and services of Dirt Mania. Our efforts had to be targeted to appeal to the
masses in an intriguing and appealing manner.

We used simplistic yet innovative brand messages to feature the beauty of nature and adventure sports
in captivating conversational text and apt visual-cues. The central tagline used was ‘Adventure never
felt so good’, and this was a part of our brand appeal to a more youthful and adventurous audience in
and around Bangalore.
The Outcome
Our strategic ad campaign was successfully planned, launched and executed. As a result, the all-ATV dirt
track received more registrations and customer participation. The branding was so good that our work
