Textual Analysis Of Troy
Troy is clearly the protagonist. He s likable and complex. He s the type of character that feels like he
can attract talent, given his range of emotion and his deep, psychological need and inner struggle. Troy
s choices to find his biological family and give Gigi a ride move the story forward. Troy has a solid
external goal and he s driven by his inner, emotional need to find out about his biological parents and
connect. It s a solid goal and objective. The stakes are personal. Troy is well established as being
obsessive compulsive. He has a fear of germs. The story really never fully addresses or resolves this.
There are several great scenes that highlight his behavior through action and great visual storytelling,
but there s no resolution. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Clarify the backstory about Gigi (how she died, how baby was given up). Clarify more effectively
how the idea of doppelgangers and parallel worlds help Troy come to resolve his identity and family
issues. While the connection between the origin of the universe and the origin of Troy are well linked,
at the end one doesn t really understand how Troy meeting his double Yuseff really impacts him or
helps him solve his inner conflict or feeling or belonging. Reconsider the title it doesn t do justice for
the script. Overall, a creative and imaginative script with a very unique voice, but at the same time, it s
ambitious and left up to interpretation. It s not always an easy script to follow or

Anti Depressant Research Paper
Anti depressants and Anti psychiatric Drugs The debate to prescribe children psychiatric drugs has
been going on for at least 57 years. 2,165,279 children are prescribed anti depressants. 8,389,034
children are prescribed anti psychiatric drugs. Although the medication may work, there are alternative
treatments available until more research is done to determine more long term side effects. A person s
brain does not develop fully until the age of 25. If you give a child a strong medication before

The investigator Joe Raedle reported that, In December 2006, four year old Rebecca Riley was found
dead in her parents home, a victim of a prescription drug overdose. An autopsy revealed four different
drugs in her system: an antihistamine (used to treat allergies), a cough suppressant, an anti seizure
drug and a blood pressure medication. The last two drugs had been prescribed not because Rebecca
suffered from seizures or high blood pressure. Rather, Rebecca s psychiatrist had prescribed the drugs
to alleviate her attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and bipolar disorder, respectively
(Raedle, Joe). A large number of new stimulant and nonstimulants users were children and teenagers,
where doctors felt comfortable prescribing such unpredictable drugs. The average doctor prescribe
medications such as: Adderal, Adzenys, XR ODT, Vyanse, Concerta, Focaloin, Daytrana, Ritalin,
Quillivant XR, etc. According to Issues and Controversies, throughout the 1990s and into the early
2000s, overall use of anti depressants soared, with sales increasing by up to 15% during some years,
according to industry analysts. These medicines are not effective in reducing depression symptoms in
the long term. The first four weeks of treatment are the most important and a parent or responsible
guardian should supervise the use of anti depressants by teenagers (LocateADoc). Most of the

Theme Of Flashback In A Rose For Emily
A Rose for Emily is a story that happens in the south in the state of Mississippi, the author William
Faulkner presents a story of a woman that has been a monument, and that has fallen. Faulkner s titular
character raised as Grierson that has power and a famous surname in the south. After a death of a
loved one, Miss Emily life becomes one with the lovely house that she lives. The titular character has
not lived up to what the townspeople expectation are. Miss Emily being frozen in time gives a
foundation to flashbacks in A Rose for Emily to the point that Faulkner excites the readers by
flashbacks.
William Faulkner s decline of chronological order delivers s an impulse to how the story A Rose for
Emily is so filled with enthusiasm and becomes an exciting piece of literature.
The none chronological effect jumps at the reader at the start of the story when it starts with when
Miss Emily Grierson died (Faulkner 1). The readers learn the story of Emily s through flashbacks. The
flashback happens time to time on the play itself. The readers learn the story by knowing the first
thing that the protagonist or the leading character died. Some readers would talk about on why
Faulkner let the main character die surprisingly early. Yes, there are stories about that the protagonist
is dying, but the readers do not get to know that they die most likely until the end of the story. For
example, would be Hamlet dying at the end scene or like Romeo and Juliet, Julius

Reflection On The Banking And Problem-Posing Methods Of...
To future BIS300 students, I have learned a lot during this class, which has helped me grow to be a
better writer and facilitator. Thanks to all the work I ve done throughout this class, my writing and
writing skills have improved dramatically. As a student, when it comes to writing essays, I have been
able to polish my skills in creating ideas. Through working on my artifacts, I have gained even more
skills that are going to be useful when I enter the real world working in global business. The part of
the artifacts I enjoyed working on the most was writing imaginative letters between the famous
Brazilian educator Paulo Freire and myself. We held a deep discussion about the banking and problem
posing methods of education. Specifically, I penned a letter from Freire to me explaining why I am in
an admissions bubble. I followed that up with a second letter where I appealed that decision to Freire
using philosophical arguments aligned with his rationale. In order to truly engage with this
assignment, I had to become engrossed in each of our characters and creatively formulate the dialogue
between us. Writing from Freire s point of view, I had to think deeply about the motives underlying
his problem posing model and why it was important to him. In my response, I then had to relate those
theories to the specific context of my own education. Despite the challenging nature of this
assignment, it was exciting to write something so different than what I had done before. I am proud

Celebrity and Image Selling
Musicians, actors, athletes, and models all depend on publicity from the media. Promotions through
magazines, newspapers, concerts, movies, CD s, sports networks and social media determine their
success. Not only do the musicians, actors, athletes, and models depend on social media, but also on
the fans. The media allows the public to be involved and interested in what s happening in different
aspects of celebrity entertainment. The influence the media has on celebrity and image selling is very
effective in producing successful careers.
Musicians are one of many aspects of entertainment that are impacted by the media. Possibly the
biggest shift in music has come through social media through an increased level of interaction
between musicians and fans (Evans). Now that we have social media it benefits the artist and the fans.
The artist is able to broadcast, promote and share things that were not possible before. An example of
this would be the artist can share their latest news, achievements or plans with their fans. The fans are
able to keep up with the artist, be more interactive with them and communicate with them better. An
example of this would be they can message , leave comments, or watch videos of the celebrity. These
are just some of the ways that the media has impacted the music industry.
Not only does the media help the music industry connect with their fans but it also

Wildfire Assessment
Wildfire Assessment For as long as mankind can conceive, fire has been a remarkable tool to conquer.
When controlled, it provides necessary heat, energy, and fuel for a consumer to use; however, when
fire goes unattended, it has the potential to become a wholly destructive element. The more western
states of America, such as Utah and Colorado, have repeatedly experienced this concept in its most
devastating form: wildfires. A wildfire is generally considered to be difficult to control and fast
moving, swallowing anything that lay in its path, including forest or human habitat. As human
incursion reaches more remote areas in wooded mountains, wildfires pose a serious threat to high end
homes and secluded cabins. The untamed nature of these fires also allows them to creep into
subdivisions and endanger more ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
For centuries, society has been battling these natural disasters with considerable effort, only to come
up with charred land and numerous homeless citizens. The one most significant gain, however, that
comes with these fires is the vigorous regrowth that occurs years after the devastation. With a freshly
cleared area, decaying sediment acting as fertilizer, and a significantly lower chance for fires, new life
is easily reintroduced from the waste. The question then becomes whether it is ethical for human
intervention with what is completely natural and healthy for the surrounding environment. The idea of
allowing uncontrolled burns comes with great potential for animal and plant habitats, however it
leaves many citizens in the wake of danger. Finding the balance between these two ideas, excessive
interference and absolute surrender of control, is an important endeavor to way

Eyewitness Testimony And The American Psychological...
For centuries, even before the rise of modern law and judicial practices, eyewitness testimony has
been a crucial part in reaching verdicts in court. The opinions and observations of bystanders or active
participants in a crime scene are often considered to be very valuable in determining the guilt or
innocence of accused individuals. However, there has been a large amount of scrutiny in the law world
concerning both misappropriated and untrue testimonies administered in courts of law. Although the
testimony of individuals can simply be misinterpreted or forgotten due to a variety of reasons,
eyewitnesses also provide information that can purposefully incriminate or exonerate a defendant.
Ultimately, despite its benefit in putting deserving persons behind bars, the use of eyewitness
testimony can absolutely be a dangerous monster for the innocently accused in different scenarios.
Despite thorough research supporting the dangers of eyewitness testimony, and the constant press by
the American Psychological Association (APA) and different law, psychology, and forensics experts,
there are no national guidelines conducting how law enforcement agencies gather eyewitness
identifications. In an APA brief, suggested by researchers and the Innocence Project, sent to the
Pennsylvania Supreme Court, it discussed how juries often don t understand the factors that can
influence a witness ability to accurately identify a suspect. Such factors include how much stress a
witness is under,

I Am A Student Athlete
All growth depends upon activity. There is no development physically or intellectually without effort,
and effort means work Calvin Coolidge. Working for what you want has been drilled into our minds
ever since we were little. It doesn t seem like such a hard concept; however, putting it into action is the
difficult part. Even though putting effort into your schoolwork is a long process, the hard work will
pay off in the long run. If you do not actively work in all of your classes and try to overcome the
obstacles that you run into, you will end up with poor grades.
Because I am a student athlete, I have to juggle going to classes, working on homework, attending
practices, and playing in games. One of the problems I always encounter is trying to find time to study
for quizzes and tests. In high school, I could get away with not studying, winging the exam, and
hoping for the best; however, I never ended up with the results I wanted. I had a major reality check
when I realized that not studying would lead to poor grades. It does not take much effort to spend an
hour to sit down and review material. Studying or not studying was something that I could control
myself. I have now learned to always take advantage of these opportunities because sometimes things
I can t control get in the way of my academics.
Something that is unavoidable that might lead to poor grades is the pressure that is pushed upon them
to excel and advance in classes. This pressure can come from

Carl Rogers Humanistic Psychodynamic Approach
EXISTENTIAL HUMANISTIC PSYCHOTHERAPY
In the 1960 s a new momentum in counselling known as the third force spawned. This force became
known as the existential humanist approach developed by Carl Rogers and Abraham Maslow. Like
most psychologists of his era; Carl Rogers trained psychodynamically (Prochaska Norcross 2010).
However, he didn t stay psychodynamic for long. Rogers disagreed with many of Freud s
presumptions about therapy and more fundamentally, about people. Along with Abraham Maslow,
Rogers pioneered the humanistic movement in psychology. The humanistic approach assumes that
people arrive with an inborn tendency to grow, otherwise known as self actualisation and presumes
that if a person s environment fosters it, self actualisation ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

common good . Additionally, clients who are accustomed to an indirect style of conversation may feel
awkward and troublesome; however, when thinking about adversity, death and purpose, the

What Is Instruction Is Through Personal Learning...
CHAPTER ONE: INTRODUCTION
Introduction
The goal of any educator is to meet students where they are and help them grow academically. Since
students do not all learn in the same manner, differentiated instruction is needed to meet the diverse
needs of students today. One way to differentiate instruction is through personal learning
environments (PLEs). PLEs are platforms that help learners manage and take control of their learning;
they are a combination of tools, communities, and services that help learners direct their own learning
and reach educational goals. PLEs help students develop autonomy and it prepares them for lifelong
learning. Implementing PLEs in a public school could help to close gaps between low performing
students ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
PLEs employ different tools that help manage learning. For example, portfolios or e portfolios allows
learners to house completed work and share that work with teachers as needed. Collaboration tools
allow learners to connect with one another on social networking sites in order to work together to
complete projects and other assignments. Managing and planning tools allow learners to create to do
lists set goals. Journals, such as blogs, help learners record and reflect on their work. Last, a content
repository affords students the opportunity to keep videos, websites, and/or shared files. These
different tools are not independent of each other; they may be intertwined and interchangeable.
Learners use PLEs that are most beneficial to them and at times that are most conducive for their
schedule. In order for PLEs to be effective, educators must help learners develop the skills to be an
autonomous learner.
Learning management systems traditionally provide structures to guide online learners to achieve their
learning goals (Tu, Sujo Montes, Yen, Chan, Blocher, 2012, p. 13). Technologies, such as Web 2.0,
allow learners to create, share, and organize PLEs in open network environments. In addition, this
platform allows students to collaborate and engage in social networking. According to Tu et al.,
educators integrate Web 2.0 technologies to support online learning management system (LMS)

Excalibur Scene Analysis
Favorite Scenes (Three Favorite Scenes from The Excalibur movie) In the Excalibur movie I found
that three scenes were very interesting. In this movie the first scene that i found interesting was when
Arthur first got possession of the sword. The second scene is the scene when he broke the tip of the
sword off fighting the knight with the really buffed armor. The third scene is when they threw
excalibur into the lake and the lady of the lake caught it in her hand. I like these three scenes because
they all show how magnificent this sword is and how it has brought great power for the kingdom. In
my favorite first scene from the Excalibur movie it is when Arthur first got possession of the
excalibur. When he first got the excalibur into his hand he did not know the power of the sword and
was willing to just give it up to his brother k. When the knights announced that Arthur was king there
was many worries because he did not know what he was supposed to do. I found that amazing when a
person that everybody thought was nothing pulled the sword out of the stone and not even a big bad
knight could make the sword move in the rock. On the Excalibur movie my second favorite scene
would be when ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

IKEA in russia
IKEA IN RUSSIA

Today, we present our analysis of the adaptation of a multinational in an emerging country. We chose

In addition, we chose to focus on the implementation of Ikea in Russia because the cultural differences
between Russia and Sweden are important. This cultural distance shows the importance of brand
policy and how it could have an impact on sales as well as its reputation due to poor market research.
Finally, it is interesting to see how a multinational company which is present in many countries could

When Ikea set up his first store in Moscow in 2000, expectations about the purchase behavior of
customers do not occur: instead to focus on the accessories and small items, the request immediately
focused on product categories rather unexpected, such as kitchens. Another objective was to
implement IKEA production center in a low cost country. The Group therefore wishes to use the
capacity of the country to supply its global network of stores. Under these conditions, a partnership is
needed with Russia, which holds a quarter of global reserves of wood, but also has significant
potential with regard to plastics and aluminum; interest also goes to the reactivation capacity dormant

similarities between the two countries. In fact, the two websites have the same structure, the same ads

Legal Realism Vs Old School Essay
Original old school formalism had a lot of problems. It suggested that there was a single moral code
that inherently true, declared that law was objective when it certainly wasn t, and encouraged deriving
rules from questionable antecedent principles. From these criticisms, legal realism was born. It was
here to fix all of the problems that old school formalism had. However, critics of legal realism spoke
up after its application to create new school legal formalism to then create a solution to the problems
seen in legal realism. This lineage of creation shows how dissimilar legal realism and new school legal
formalism must be: they derived as better solutions the one preceding it. Almost entirely, these two
schools of thought are completely opposite as they are responses to one another, sharing only one trait
between the two. The purposivist theory of Legal Realism differs greatly from the formalist theory of
New School Legal Formalism. Legal realism is a purposivist theory derived from the critique of old
school legal formalism, citing disagreement with the objective nature of old school legal formalism.
Legal realists stated that reasoning from Natural Law could not be objective, and law was unable to be
determined by logic and reason alone. Stating that all choices are inherently subjective, legal realists
became proponents of a subjective theory of law. They rejected the formalist point of view of the law,
deciding that purposivism only adheres to their subjectivity.

Physiological Response To Exercise Analysis
Marathon running has been associated with a number of physiological lapses that occurs when the
body and the organs can no longer sustain itself. Specifically ultra marathon running especially in the
heat. Exercise in the heat is a physiologically challenging for the function of the cardiovascular
(González Alonso Calbet 2003), thermoregulatory system (Johnson 2010; González Alonso et al.
2008; González Alonso 2012). Thus exposure to prolonged exercise in the heat that increases the body
temperature increases the risk of heat illnesses (Armstrong et al. 2007) such as acute heat

heat stroke. Heat also impairs the capacity of performance, subsequently, ... Show more content on

NO plays a vital role within the coronary and the peripheral hemodynamic by increasing the

therefore reduces the physiological responses to exercise. Specifically NO has been reported to assist
in the thermoregulation system, by increasing the blood flow and muscle contractibility and

What Is The Cyclical Relationship Between Production And...
What is the cyclical relationship between production and reproduction?
The cycle of food production and reproduction is caused by the fact that population demands certain
amounts of food to be produced. Then when the food supply increases the population tends to increase
to meet that level of production. This cycle continues to repeat itself to meet the demands. Food
production increases cause creative thinking of how to improve the methods of production so that
more food is produced with little change in area needed to farm. The need for more food production to
be able to feed the children, it leads to people being willing to work longer and harder to get the
needed food. People who feel that food limits are approaching also make changes on how to limit the
demand by reducing births, or learning how to keep food longer. Although the United States can make
the changes needed to supply food for our country it is not that simple. There is an unequal
distribution of foods and technologies that make getting the food to people that need it is sometimes a
bigger challenge. Other countries are not able to produce what they need and also cannot get the food
they need brought in easily. When a population stabilizes the food production also stabilizes until there
is an upsurge in the population again.
What contributions did Ester Boserup make to Malthusian Theory?
Thomas Robert Malthus wrote An Essay on the Principle of Population to outline his theory of
population growth.

Search For Truth In Oedipus The King
Oedipus the King
By Sophocles
The three most important characters in the play are Oedipus, Jocasta, and Tiresias. The story s
revolves around Oedipus s quest for truth as he attempts to find out who his true parents are. Jocasta is
the wife and mother of Oedipus and tries desperately to convince him to abandon the search for his
parents, but fails. Tiresias is a blind prophet who knows the truth about Oedipus. He is the only person
in the play who can clearly see the whole picture and thus serves as a connection to the audience
through dramatic irony.
The story begins with people offering prayers at an altar because a plague has fallen upon the city. The
plague exists because the murderer of Laius has not been found, and Oedipus vows to find and exile
the killer. Oedipus seeks Tiresias, the blind prophet, for information but is angered when he is accused
of the crime. He then accuses Creon and Tiresias of treason and threatens to exile them, but is talked
out of it by Jocasta. Jocasta ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This is because Oedipus is on a continual search for knowledge and truth in his life. Despite his harsh

search for identity. Identity allows all people to distinguish themselves from others, and the search for
identity is something that is shared among nearly all people. Therefore this is something that I was
able to easily identify with Oedipus. The major theme of this work is fate. Oedipus is cursed with
knowing his fate and takes every possible measure to avoid it. Despite moving to another country and
avoiding his adoptive parents until they died, he was unable to escape his destiny. This is an example
of how mankind is powerless against the will of the gods and that despite all of our actions our fate is

The Crucible Analysis
The Adaptations Behind The Work

Abstract
This paper explores the plays, movies, books, and awards that have been accomplished around the
world over Arthur Miller s The Crucible. The Crucible is a fictionalized story written by Arthur Miller
about the Salem witch trials that took place in Massachusetts Bay Colony during 1692 through 1693.
From France to the broadway theaters in New York the The Crucible appears conveying its message to
all who witness this piece of work. The Crucible is still one of Arthur Miller s most produced plays
today.

Broadway Arthur Miller s has appeared on Broadway numerous times. The first original production
opened at Martin Beck Theatre, January 22, 1953 in Viking (New York, NY) (Arthur,2007). Reviewer
Brooks Atkinson, of the New York Times, noted how the cast members were dressed in accurately
reproduced costumes from early Massachusetts (Atkinson, 1953). Atkinson also stated Boris Aronson
s scenic design was stripped bare and merciless, creating gaunt, pitiless sets of rude buildings that
came to characterize the stage described in most editions of the text today. Atkinson noted that Arthur
Kennedy as John Proctor and Beatrice Straight as Elizabeth offered clear and full performances,
highlighted by the moments the two spent alone together on stage (Atkinson, 1953). Then a Broadway
revival directed by Richard Eyre and presented at the Virginia Theater (later renamed the August
Wilson Theater), opening on March 7, 2002, nearly fifty years later (Rabkin,2002). The set design is
crucial for Richard Eyre to get right because The Crucible uses the surrounds to give off certain tones.
The large wooden sets that isolate the characters and seem claustrophobic, cutting out the brief visages
of the countryside. The lighting design similarly cuts through the set, forcefully reminding the

What Are The Advantages And Disadvantages Of State Owned...
State owned enterprises are regarded as a particular circumstance of business organisations and
considered as the basis of economic growth in many countries (Zhang, 2011). It can be seen that the
proportion of state owned companies has increased from nine percent in 2005 to 23 percent in 2014
especially in China which has a proportion of 15 percent in 2014 (PwC, 2015). Furthermore, state
owned companies might be a necessary tool for development in emerging countries, because they can
be directed and achieved by governments. Although state owned companies have played an important
role in an economy, they sometimes seem to perform poorly compared with private sectors on average
in many countries, partly because the goals of public policy sometimes are complicated to be achieved
(World Bank Group, 2014). Therefore, many countries have decided to privatise because they have
expected that private sectors would operate and perform better than the government would do. Thus,
privatisation has become an international phenomenon globally particularly in addressing inefficiency
from state enterprises. However, there might have some benefits and drawbacks of privatisations, but
all of the procedures are most likely to depend on the quality of contracts and regulation in each
circumstance. For this reason, this essay will examine: firstly, the agency costs that seem to occur in
state owned companies, secondly a privatisation will be analysed as a result from those costs. Thirdly,

Psy 270 Week 5 Case Study Donovan
For starters, one of the first measures that I would use as a means to intervene with Donovan would be
something as simple as a phone call. According to the text, this is something that should be
approached with caution, simply because, the client feeling that they are there for a quick fix, become
lax, and wait for the clinician to pass judgement (Miller, Forechimes, Zweben, 2011). With this taken
into consideration, I would gradually start to introduce the basic screening questions and set up an
appointment time and location so that Donovan and I can meet and get this process started. I feel like
with this particular approach it would more than likely provide him with the motivation to participate
in the evaluation process. Would you agree? ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

stimulant use leading to clinically significant impairment or distress, as manifested by at least two of
the criteria occurring within a 12 month period (DSM V, 2013). Based on that previous statement
Donovan would be classified as the perfect candidate under criteria four which is craving, or the
strong desire or urge to use the stimulant. The example that I can provide to support this is Donovan
deems it necessary to use cocaine in order to complete multiple tasks. Six on the other hand, goes onto

Racial Diversity In Longtown
Early in American history, citizens were discriminated against. This was based on the color of their
skin. Of course you do not see it nowadays, or do you? Well recently in Longtown Ohio, there has
been white people who leave racist notes on the front door of the town church making fun of the
history of this town, according to the article, ¨Ohio town holds rare history. Races mix freely for
nearly 200 years.¨ In this town, everyone was taught that color of skin never mattered and that what
only mattered was your characteristics. Everyone should be treated with respect that you would give
yourself no matter what color of skin you are. This town had one of the earliest of the United States
higher educational institutions that was either torn down or remodeled tearing down the memories of

According to the article, ¨An Ohio town where races have mixed freely for more than 200 years¨,
Longtime Longtown residents are dying, and whites are moving in and buying property. What can be
done to keep racial diversity in Longtown? Some ways that we can keep the racial diversity is having
fundraisers or donations that go toward orphanages and help build a sense of community. If the
community can connect to the children or see themselves as the guardians of the children this can
instill ownership of the community. Another way that we can keep racial diversity is to play sports.

The Death Of Drunk Driving
Drinking and Driving has been around just as long as drugs have, yet drunk driving takes more lives
than drugs do per year. Last year in 2014, 9967 people were killed in car crashes. There was 3464
cocaine related deaths during the same period. Stricter drinking and driving laws were only put into
law after the Carollton bus disaster happened. In 1988 a drunk driver driving the wrong way in
Kentucky hit a school bus where 27 people died and dozens more were injured. In the aftermath,
Mothers Against Drunk Driving was started and throughout the 80 s drunk driving became a hot topic.
At that time alcohol related accidents totaled around 100,000 a year. Deaths related to illegal drug
overdose, AIDS, or violence associated with the illegal drug trade totaled up to 21, 000 per year.
Sentencing for drunk drivers typically only spend two days in jail the first time and up to ten days the
second. Drunk driving carries a far greater risk of violent death than the use or sale of illegal drugs,
but the social response to drunk driver s generally emphasized keeping the person functional and in
society, while attempting to respond to the dangerous behavior through treatment and counseling.
People charged with drug offenses, are typically charged with felonies and sentenced to prison. At that
time there were not first and second chances with a few days in jail like it was for drinking and
driving. One of the main reasons for this disparity is that white men account for the majority of

Political Parties And The Republican Party Platform
Generally speaking, anyone who lives in the United States of America knows that there are two main
political parties the Republicans and the Democrats. Having two main parties has its advantages and,
of course, its disadvantages. For example, in By the People James E. Monroe and Rogan Kersh (301)
point out having this type of system creates predictability and stability. However, they also declare
(301) it can lead to a gridlock. This is not a new concept either as there has been a divide since the
beginning of both parties. The two parties more often than not disagree on various issues, while rarely
agreeing on what is best for the country.
Democrats and Republicans highly differ when comparing views on climate change. The Democrats
accept human role in climate change while many Republicans question if climate change is even real.
In the 2016 Democratic Party Platform (27), they state in the first 100 days of the next administration,
the president will convene a summit of the words best engineers, climate scientists, policy experts,
activists, and indigenous communities to chart a course to solve the climate crisis. This is highlighted
previously when President Obama, a Democrat, traveled to Paris for a convention about climate
change where he met other leaders around the world to make a plan to help fix the issues surrounding
climate change. This shows the basic principles of the Democratic Party as internationalist and having
the large government as it states in the

Fema And The Federal Emergency Management Agency
On April 1, 1979, President Jimmy Carter signed the executive order that created the Federal
Emergency Management Agency. 1.Year in and out, a disaster can strike at any moment and put
millions of people in danger and wreck billions of dollars worth of property. But, this is where the
Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) steps in and up to the plate. FEMA works as part of
a team helping communities reduce their risk, helping emergency officials prepare for all hazards, and
helping people get back on their feet after their lives are disrupted by a disaster. 2 FEMA s primary
focus is to coordinate federal and logistical operations to save and sustain lives, minimize suffering,
and protect property in a timely and effective manner in communities that become devastated by
disasters. 3
Background
For 35 years, FEMA s mission remains: to lead America to prepare for, prevent, respond to and
recover from disasters with a vision of A Nation Prepared. FEMA can trace its origins to the
Congressional Act of 1803. FEMA coordinates the federal government s role in preparing for,
preventing, mitigating the effects of, responding to, and recovering from all domestic disasters,
whether natural or man made, including acts of terror. 4 President Carter s 1979 executive order 12127
merged many of the separate disaster related responsibilities into the Federal Emergency Management
Agency. 51 From this executive order, FEMA absorbed The Federal Insurance Administration, The

I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings, By Maya Angelou
In I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings, by Maya Angelou, Maya learns just how critical books are to
everyone and learns to be dependent on them over other people because while everything around her
is changing, books, writing and literature are always there to be her friend. Everything Maya was
dependent on, before she discovered books, (her mother, Momma, Bailey, her family, her educators
and her home) are so unstable throughout the whole book that she can not depend on them. However,
through all of that, books are always there and they are critical to her.
Maya Angelou writes As quickly as I had not reached my home, I sneaked away to Robin Hood s
forest and the caves of Ally Oop where all reality was unreal and even that changed everyday
(Angelou, 70) which states that, as Maya arrives to her house, she realizes it s not her home. As
upsetting as that sounds, she immediately turns to books which make her feel better so quickly. This
quote directly shows that it does not matter to Maya if, in a sense, she is homeless as long as she has
her books and that is very important. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

more to her than the relationship she has with other people. Also, you can tell that she at least thinks

Interdependence Between Drama And Drama
On the other hand, dramatic speech cannot be regarded only as an extension of everyday speech into
drama. Indeed, there is interdependence between dramatic speech and everyday speech, yet there is no
identity and although there are many common elements, there are also important differences. These
differences can be seen in the fact that drama, theatre and other performance genres like film, carnival,
ceremonial ritual are embedded in social culture but as part of what has been termed expressive
culture.
Drama has its own history and its own contemporary constraints for aesthetic, experimental or social
purposes. Dramatic performances are among those which have been called authoritative and authentic
performances in a very specific sense, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Although there are plays which are mainly written for a reading audience, dramatic texts are generally
meant to be presented in front of an audience, in a theatre. Therefore, dramatic texts are different by
compared to poetic or narrative texts. There is the primary text (the main body of the play spoken by
the characters), and secondary texts (all the texts accompanying the main text: title, dramatis personae,
scene descriptions, stage directions for acting and speaking). Depending on whether one reads a play
or watches it on stage, one has different kinds of access to dramatic texts. The reader receives written
information on what the characters look like, how they act and react in certain situations, how they
speak or the setting of the background to a scene. However, another reader also has to make an effort
to imagine all these characteristics and interpret them for oneself. On the other hand, stage
performances reveal these details from a completely different perspective. In other words: at the
theatre the audience is presented with a version of the play which has already been interpreted by the
director, actors, costume designers, make up artists and all the other members of theatre staff, who
bring the play to life. The difference, then, lies in different forms of perception. While the audience
can actually see

Literary Devices Used In Macbeth Essay example
Literary Devices used in Macbeth
Imagine how dull a Shakespearean play would be without the ingenious literary devices and
techniques that contribute so much to the fulfillment of its reader or viewer. Macbeth, by William
Shakespeare, is a tragedy that combines fact and legend to tell the story of an eleventh century king.
Shakespeare uses numerous types of literary techniques to make this tragic play more appealing.
Three literary devices that Shakespeare uses to make Macbeth more interesting and effective are irony,
symbolism, and imagery. One technique that Shakespeare uses is irony. Verbal irony is when a
character says one thing but means the opposite. When a reader understands the irony of what a
character is saying, then ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Irony, a key element to a tragic play like Macbeth, has the ability to make the tragic hero appear more
villainous or the down fall seem even more tragic. The second type of literary device that Shakespeare
uses in Macbeth is symbolism. The predominant symbol is blood and is used as an effective method to
describe the theme of the play. Not only does blood symbolize bravery, it is also a means of showing
treachery and treason and probably most importantly, guilt. One example of bravery occurs when the
captain says, For brave Macbeth well he deserves that name /Disdaining fortune, with his brandished
steel,/Which smoked with bloody execution (1.2.16 18). Soon after this blood changes into a
representation of treachery and treason. Lady Macbeth asks the spirits to Make thick my blood,/ Stop
up th access and passage to remorse (1.5. 43 44). She asks the spirits to take away compassion and
make her remorseless for the actions she is about to take. Also, when Ross asks, Is t known who did
this more than bloody deed? (2.4.22), he tries to figure out who performed the disloyal act of
murdering the king. Blood is also used many times to express the guilt ridden consciences of the
characters. For instance, Macbeth says, What hands are here? Ha! They pluck out mine own eyes!/
Will all great Neptune s ocean wash the blood/ Clean from my hand? (2.3.58 60). Macbeth obviously
feels guilty for killing Duncan in cold blood. Later in the play, Lady Macbeth

Malala Yousafzai Speech
In Mingora, Pakistan, Malala Yousafzai was born on July 12, 1997. In her first few years of life, her
hometown was a popular tourist spot that was known for its summer festivals. Unfortunately, the
Taliban, an extreme terrorist group, began to change the area by trying to take control. Malala gave an
inspirational speech in Peshawar, Pakistan after the Taliban attacked girls schools in Swat, Pakistan.
The title of that speech was called How dare the Taliban take away my basic right to education?
Malala spoke about her belief in her and every girl s right to education. She gave that talk in
September 2008. In January of 2009, Malala started a blog about living under the Taliban s threats and

She had suffered no major brain damage, however, she needed many surgeries including the repair of
a facial nerve to fix the paralyzed left side of her face. Malala eventually recovered and in March 2013
she was able to go to school in Birmingham. Malala received an outburst of support during her
recovery from the shooting. Malala gave a speech at the United Nations in 2013, on her 16th birthday.
In October 2013, Malala s autobiography I Am Malala: The Girl Who Stood Up for Education and
Was Shot by the Taliban was released. However, the Taliban still had not given up and still considered
the young activist a target. Malala remains a strong advocate for the power of education despite the
continued threats by the Taliban. The European Parliament showed recognition for Malala by
awarding her the Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought. She was also nominated for a Nobel Peace
Prize the same year, but fell short of winning it. Malala was a nominee again in 2014. In October
2014, Malala, along with Indian children s rights activist Kailash Satyarthi, received the Nobel Peace
Prize. She (Malala) is the pride of Pakistan, she has made her countrymen proud. Her achievement is
unparalleled and unequaled. Girls and boys of the world should take lead from her struggle and
commitment. said Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. Malala opened a school for Syrian refugee
girls in Lebanon to celebrate her 18th birthday in 2015. 200 girls from the ages of 14 to 18 were

Making a Difference as an Educator Essay
Making a Difference as an Educator
I believe the purpose of an educator is to enhance minds and touch lives. I think it is wonderful that in
the country we live in today, that all children are not only given the opportunity for an education, but
are forced to take advantage of it. Almost every adult can look back at their school years and think of
at least one teacher that has touched their lives in one or more ways. I hope that as an educator that I
will have made a difference in many lives and be their motivation to reach their highest goals.

will be most beneficial to their students. They also spend hours of their extra time planning field trips,

After I successfully complete the teacher education program at Concord University, I plan to take my
education farther. I plan to attend Marshall University and get my master s degree. If I am this far in
my education, I believe that it would be in my best interest to go ahead and go all the way while I am
still young and in the habit of studying and going to school. I plan to attend Marshall University
because I have already attended school there before, and I believe they have a lot to offer there. I want
to go there so that I can learn from new teachers that I have not had in class before, and expand my
horizons.
After I receive my master s degree, I plan to teach school for a few years. I would prefer to teach
kindergarten or first grade, but I will take whatever is available in the area I am living in, being a
young and inexperienced educator. After teaching for a few years and getting experience in running
my own classroom, I would like to open up my own day care. I have worked at a day care before and I

  • 2. Textual Analysis Of Troy Troy is clearly the protagonist. He s likable and complex. He s the type of character that feels like he can attract talent, given his range of emotion and his deep, psychological need and inner struggle. Troy s choices to find his biological family and give Gigi a ride move the story forward. Troy has a solid external goal and he s driven by his inner, emotional need to find out about his biological parents and connect. It s a solid goal and objective. The stakes are personal. Troy is well established as being obsessive compulsive. He has a fear of germs. The story really never fully addresses or resolves this. There are several great scenes that highlight his behavior through action and great visual storytelling, but there s no resolution. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Clarify the backstory about Gigi (how she died, how baby was given up). Clarify more effectively how the idea of doppelgangers and parallel worlds help Troy come to resolve his identity and family issues. While the connection between the origin of the universe and the origin of Troy are well linked, at the end one doesn t really understand how Troy meeting his double Yuseff really impacts him or helps him solve his inner conflict or feeling or belonging. Reconsider the title it doesn t do justice for the script. Overall, a creative and imaginative script with a very unique voice, but at the same time, it s ambitious and left up to interpretation. Although the medication may work, there are alternative treatments available until more research is done to determine more long term side effects. A person s brain does not develop fully until the age of 25. The investigator Joe Raedle reported that, In December 2006, four year old Rebecca Riley was found dead in her parents home, a victim of a prescription drug overdose. An autopsy revealed four different drugs in her system: an antihistamine (used to treat allergies), a cough suppressant, an anti seizure drug and a blood pressure medication. The last two drugs had been prescribed not because Rebecca suffered from seizures or high blood pressure. Rather, Rebecca s psychiatrist had prescribed the drugs to alleviate her attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and bipolar disorder, respectively (Raedle, Joe). A large number of new stimulant and nonstimulants users were children and teenagers, where doctors felt comfortable prescribing such unpredictable drugs. The average doctor prescribe medications such as: Adderal, Adzenys, XR ODT, Vyanse, Concerta, Focaloin, Daytrana, Ritalin, Quillivant XR, etc. According to Issues and Controversies, throughout the 1990s and into the early 2000s, overall use of anti depressants soared, with sales increasing by up to 15% during some years, according to industry analysts. These medicines are not effective in reducing depression symptoms in the long term. The first four weeks of treatment are the most important and a parent or responsible guardian should supervise the use of anti depressants by teenagers (LocateADoc). Most of the medicine ... William Faulkner s decline of chronological order delivers s an impulse to how the story A Rose for Emily is so filled with enthusiasm and becomes an exciting piece of literature. The none chronological effect jumps at the reader at the start of the story when it starts with when Miss Emily Grierson died (Faulkner 1). The readers learn the story of Emily s through flashbacks. The flashback happens time to time on the play itself. The readers learn the story by knowing the first thing that the protagonist or the leading character died. Some readers would talk about on why Faulkner let the main character die surprisingly early. • 5. Reflection On The Banking And Problem-Posing Methods Of... To future BIS300 students, I have learned a lot during this class, which has helped me grow to be a better writer and facilitator. Thanks to all the work I ve done throughout this class, my writing and writing skills have improved dramatically. As a student, when it comes to writing essays, I have been able to polish my skills in creating ideas. Through working on my artifacts, I have gained even more skills that are going to be useful when I enter the real world working in global business. The part of the artifacts I enjoyed working on the most was writing imaginative letters between the famous Brazilian educator Paulo Freire and myself. We held a deep discussion about the banking and problem posing methods of education. Specifically, I penned a letter from Freire to me explaining why I am in an admissions bubble. I followed that up with a second letter where I appealed that decision to Freire using philosophical arguments aligned with his rationale. In order to truly engage with this assignment, I had to become engrossed in each of our characters and creatively formulate the dialogue between us. Writing from Freire s point of view, I had to think deeply about the motives underlying his problem posing model and why it was important to him. In my response, I then had to relate those theories to the specific context of my own education. Despite the challenging nature of this assignment, it was exciting to write something so different than what I had done before. I am proud ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Promotions through magazines, newspapers, concerts, movies, CD s, sports networks and social media determine their success. Not only do the musicians, actors, athletes, and models depend on social media, but also on the fans. The media allows the public to be involved and interested in what s happening in different aspects of celebrity entertainment. The influence the media has on celebrity and image selling is very effective in producing successful careers. Musicians are one of many aspects of entertainment that are impacted by the media. Possibly the biggest shift in music has come through social media through an increased level of interaction between musicians and fans (Evans). Now that we have social media it benefits the artist and the fans. The artist is able to broadcast, promote and share things that were not possible before. An example of this would be the artist can share their latest news, achievements or plans with their fans. The fans are able to keep up with the artist, be more interactive with them and communicate with them better. An example of this would be they can message , leave comments, or watch videos of the celebrity. These are just some of the ways that the media has impacted the music industry. • 8. Wildfire Assessment Wildfire Assessment For as long as mankind can conceive, fire has been a remarkable tool to conquer. When controlled, it provides necessary heat, energy, and fuel for a consumer to use; however, when fire goes unattended, it has the potential to become a wholly destructive element. The more western states of America, such as Utah and Colorado, have repeatedly experienced this concept in its most devastating form: wildfires. A wildfire is generally considered to be difficult to control and fast moving, swallowing anything that lay in its path, including forest or human habitat. As human incursion reaches more remote areas in wooded mountains, wildfires pose a serious threat to high end homes and secluded cabins. The untamed nature of these fires also allows them to creep into subdivisions and endanger more ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... For centuries, society has been battling these natural disasters with considerable effort, only to come up with charred land and numerous homeless citizens. The one most significant gain, however, that comes with these fires is the vigorous regrowth that occurs years after the devastation. With a freshly cleared area, decaying sediment acting as fertilizer, and a significantly lower chance for fires, new life is easily reintroduced from the waste. The question then becomes whether it is ethical for human intervention with what is completely natural and healthy for the surrounding environment. The idea of allowing uncontrolled burns comes with great potential for animal and plant habitats, however it leaves many citizens in the wake of danger. • 9. Eyewitness Testimony And The American Psychological... For centuries, even before the rise of modern law and judicial practices, eyewitness testimony has been a crucial part in reaching verdicts in court. The opinions and observations of bystanders or active participants in a crime scene are often considered to be very valuable in determining the guilt or innocence of accused individuals. However, there has been a large amount of scrutiny in the law world concerning both misappropriated and untrue testimonies administered in courts of law. Although the testimony of individuals can simply be misinterpreted or forgotten due to a variety of reasons, eyewitnesses also provide information that can purposefully incriminate or exonerate a defendant. Ultimately, despite its benefit in putting deserving persons behind bars, the use of eyewitness testimony can absolutely be a dangerous monster for the innocently accused in different scenarios. Despite thorough research supporting the dangers of eyewitness testimony, and the constant press by the American Psychological Association (APA) and different law, psychology, and forensics experts, there are no national guidelines conducting how law enforcement agencies gather eyewitness identifications. In an APA brief, suggested by researchers and the Innocence Project, sent to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, it discussed how juries often don t understand the factors that can influence a witness ability to accurately identify a suspect. Such factors include how much stress a witness is under, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 10. I Am A Student Athlete All growth depends upon activity. There is no development physically or intellectually without effort, and effort means work Calvin Coolidge. Working for what you want has been drilled into our minds ever since we were little. It doesn t seem like such a hard concept; however, putting it into action is the difficult part. Even though putting effort into your schoolwork is a long process, the hard work will pay off in the long run. If you do not actively work in all of your classes and try to overcome the obstacles that you run into, you will end up with poor grades. Because I am a student athlete, I have to juggle going to classes, working on homework, attending practices, and playing in games. One of the problems I always encounter is trying to find time to study for quizzes and tests. In high school, I could get away with not studying, winging the exam, and hoping for the best; however, I never ended up with the results I wanted. I had a major reality check when I realized that not studying would lead to poor grades. It does not take much effort to spend an hour to sit down and review material. Studying or not studying was something that I could control myself. I have now learned to always take advantage of these opportunities because sometimes things I can t control get in the way of my academics. Something that is unavoidable that might lead to poor grades is the pressure that is pushed upon them to excel and advance in classes. This pressure can come from ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 11. Carl Rogers Humanistic Psychodynamic Approach EXISTENTIAL HUMANISTIC PSYCHOTHERAPY In the 1960 s a new momentum in counselling known as the third force spawned. This force became known as the existential humanist approach developed by Carl Rogers and Abraham Maslow. Like most psychologists of his era; Carl Rogers trained psychodynamically (Prochaska Norcross 2010). However, he didn t stay psychodynamic for long. Rogers disagreed with many of Freud s presumptions about therapy and more fundamentally, about people. Along with Abraham Maslow, Rogers pioneered the humanistic movement in psychology. The humanistic approach assumes that people arrive with an inborn tendency to grow, otherwise known as self actualisation and presumes that if a person s environment fosters it, self actualisation ... • 12. What Is Instruction Is Through Personal Learning... CHAPTER ONE: INTRODUCTION Introduction The goal of any educator is to meet students where they are and help them grow academically. Since students do not all learn in the same manner, differentiated instruction is needed to meet the diverse needs of students today. One way to differentiate instruction is through personal learning environments (PLEs). PLEs are platforms that help learners manage and take control of their learning; they are a combination of tools, communities, and services that help learners direct their own learning and reach educational goals. PLEs help students develop autonomy and it prepares them for lifelong learning. Implementing PLEs in a public school could help to close gaps between low performing students ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... PLEs employ different tools that help manage learning. For example, portfolios or e portfolios allows learners to house completed work and share that work with teachers as needed. Collaboration tools allow learners to connect with one another on social networking sites in order to work together to complete projects and other assignments. Managing and planning tools allow learners to create to do lists set goals. Journals, such as blogs, help learners record and reflect on their work. Last, a content repository affords students the opportunity to keep videos, websites, and/or shared files. These different tools are not independent of each other; they may be intertwined and interchangeable. Learners use PLEs that are most beneficial to them and at times that are most conducive for their schedule. In order for PLEs to be effective, educators must help learners develop the skills to be an autonomous learner. Learning management systems traditionally provide structures to guide online learners to achieve their learning goals (Tu, Sujo Montes, Yen, Chan, Blocher, 2012, p. 13). Technologies, such as Web 2.0, allow learners to create, share, and organize PLEs in open network environments. In addition, this platform allows students to collaborate and engage in social networking. • 13. Excalibur Scene Analysis Favorite Scenes (Three Favorite Scenes from The Excalibur movie) In the Excalibur movie I found that three scenes were very interesting. In this movie the first scene that i found interesting was when Arthur first got possession of the sword. The second scene is the scene when he broke the tip of the sword off fighting the knight with the really buffed armor. The third scene is when they threw excalibur into the lake and the lady of the lake caught it in her hand. I like these three scenes because they all show how magnificent this sword is and how it has brought great power for the kingdom. In my favorite first scene from the Excalibur movie it is when Arthur first got possession of the excalibur. When he first got the excalibur into his hand he did not know the power of the sword and was willing to just give it up to his brother k. When the knights announced that Arthur was king there was many worries because he did not know what he was supposed to do. We chose to study the Ikea s case because the company is the leader in the field of interior design and furniture. In addition, we chose to focus on the implementation of Ikea in Russia because the cultural differences between Russia and Sweden are important. This cultural distance shows the importance of brand policy and how it could have an impact on sales as well as its reputation due to poor market research. Finally, it is interesting to see how a multinational company which is present in many countries could adapt to local culture despite its differences with it. When Ikea set up his first store in Moscow in 2000, expectations about the purchase behavior of customers do not occur: instead to focus on the accessories and small items, the request immediately focused on product categories rather unexpected, such as kitchens. Another objective was to implement IKEA production center in a low cost country. The Group therefore wishes to use the capacity of the country to supply its global network of stores. Under these conditions, a partnership is needed with Russia, which holds a quarter of global reserves of wood, but also has significant potential with regard to plastics and aluminum; interest also goes to the reactivation capacity dormant for textile and ceramic industries. To allow Russian suppliers to purchase industrial equipment needed, the group spent $400 million. In addition, he opened his own production unit in St. Petersburg. • 16. Legal Realism Vs Old School Essay Original old school formalism had a lot of problems. It suggested that there was a single moral code that inherently true, declared that law was objective when it certainly wasn t, and encouraged deriving rules from questionable antecedent principles. From these criticisms, legal realism was born. It was here to fix all of the problems that old school formalism had. However, critics of legal realism spoke up after its application to create new school legal formalism to then create a solution to the problems seen in legal realism. This lineage of creation shows how dissimilar legal realism and new school legal formalism must be: they derived as better solutions the one preceding it. Almost entirely, these two schools of thought are completely opposite as they are responses to one another, sharing only one trait between the two. The purposivist theory of Legal Realism differs greatly from the formalist theory of New School Legal Formalism. Legal realism is a purposivist theory derived from the critique of old school legal formalism, citing disagreement with the objective nature of old school legal formalism. Legal realists stated that reasoning from Natural Law could not be objective, and law was unable to be determined by logic and reason alone. Stating that all choices are inherently subjective, legal realists became proponents of a subjective theory of law. They rejected the formalist point of view of the law, deciding that purposivism only adheres to their subjectivity. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 18. What Is The Cyclical Relationship Between Production And... What is the cyclical relationship between production and reproduction? The cycle of food production and reproduction is caused by the fact that population demands certain amounts of food to be produced. Then when the food supply increases the population tends to increase to meet that level of production. This cycle continues to repeat itself to meet the demands. Food production increases cause creative thinking of how to improve the methods of production so that more food is produced with little change in area needed to farm. The need for more food production to be able to feed the children, it leads to people being willing to work longer and harder to get the needed food. People who feel that food limits are approaching also make changes on how to limit the demand by reducing births, or learning how to keep food longer. Although the United States can make the changes needed to supply food for our country it is not that simple. There is an unequal distribution of foods and technologies that make getting the food to people that need it is sometimes a bigger challenge. The story s revolves around Oedipus s quest for truth as he attempts to find out who his true parents are. Reviewer Brooks Atkinson, of the New York Times, noted how the cast members were dressed in accurately reproduced costumes from early Massachusetts (Atkinson, 1953). Atkinson also stated Boris Aronson s scenic design was stripped bare and merciless, creating gaunt, pitiless sets of rude buildings that came to characterize the stage described in most editions of the text today. Atkinson noted that Arthur Kennedy as John Proctor and Beatrice Straight as Elizabeth offered clear and full performances, highlighted by the moments the two spent alone together on stage (Atkinson, 1953). • 22. What Are The Advantages And Disadvantages Of State Owned... State owned enterprises are regarded as a particular circumstance of business organisations and considered as the basis of economic growth in many countries (Zhang, 2011). It can be seen that the proportion of state owned companies has increased from nine percent in 2005 to 23 percent in 2014 especially in China which has a proportion of 15 percent in 2014 (PwC, 2015). Furthermore, state owned companies might be a necessary tool for development in emerging countries, because they can be directed and achieved by governments. Although state owned companies have played an important role in an economy, they sometimes seem to perform poorly compared with private sectors on average in many countries, partly because the goals of public policy sometimes are complicated to be achieved (World Bank Group, 2014). Therefore, many countries have decided to privatise because they have expected that private sectors would operate and perform better than the government would do. Thus, privatisation has become an international phenomenon globally particularly in addressing inefficiency from state enterprises. However, there might have some benefits and drawbacks of privatisations, but all of the procedures are most likely to depend on the quality of contracts and regulation in each circumstance. Not only does blood symbolize bravery, it is also a means of showing treachery and treason and probably most importantly, guilt. One example of bravery occurs when the captain says, For brave Macbeth well he deserves that name /Disdaining fortune, with his brandished steel,/Which smoked with bloody execution (1.2.16 18).
