Saudi Arabia And The Middle East Case Study
Saudi Arabia and the United States: The Honeymoon s End is in Sight
Obama s victory started a new era in dealing with the Middle East, despite the fact that U.S foreign
policy remains tied to its interests in internal security, the economy, and welfare. The U.S policy is
being dictated by its personal interests and political parties that stick to the same lines, but differ in
some minor ways of implementation. The implementation of this policy serves pubic interest and
employs strategy that ensures the best results for the ruling party. As a result of the Democratic Party
holding the majority in the U.S government, Obama s foreign policy is considered to be backed by a
majority of Americans.

and an openness to other religions. The Saudi regime has also trimmed the famous religious cult called

the monopoly imposed by members of the religious group. Also, the U.S. administration realized that
introducing cinema and theater to the Saudi society is the best means to confront terrorism in the long

SUBJ: Sara Lee Corporation in 2011: Has Its Retrenchment Strategy Been Successful?
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
In 2005, Sara Lee placed a strategic plan in action to transform the business into a more tightly
focused food, beverage and household products company. This involved the divestiture of weak
performing business and product categories, which included eight business units. Although the
divestiture would decrease Sara Lee s revenues, it was believed that concentrating their financial and
managerial resources on a smaller number of business units would be beneficial. Sara Lee struggled ...

Using our measures, weights, and the importance of the weight, we found that the five industries that
Sara Lee occupies are fairly similar in attractiveness. The food retail industry is the most attractive and
the international refrigerated bread industry is the least attractive.
The food retail industry is the most attractive primarily because it has an extremely high market size.
This industry is benefiting from the economic downturn because less people are eating at restaurants.
Instead they are making more meals at home. Although this industry is benefiting from the economic
downturn, there is a high risk of uncertainty. This is because of the competitiveness of the industry,
economic factors, and emerging opportunities that the business unit will have to face.
On the other side, the international refrigerated bread industry is the least attractive because of the
global economic downturn. The economic recession affected this company particularly hard. Spain is
the main country that supported this industry for refrigerated bread and got hit harder than other
countries. Spain is also the only country that is looking to continue the want for refrigerated bread,
whereas other countries are turning to fresh breads as its leading bread products causing the projected
growth rate to decrease significantly.
The business units represented in Sara Lee s portfolio are highly

Examine the Gothic Elements in the Novel Wuthering...
Examine the Gothic Elements in the Novel Wuthering Heights, by Emily Brontë
Gothic literature originated and was very strong at the time of the Romantic Writers Movement. They
were very popular and had authors such as Horace Walpole who wrote The Castle of Oranto , and
novels such as Frankenstein and Dracula . Gothic novels all had a similarity between each other. They
always had typical Gothic features which alleviated the novel in one way or another. For example,
most Gothic novels involved settings which generally added fear and suspense. They were always
quite dark, scary and isolated. Also the characters of the Gothic novels never seemed to fit in the
community and the society. They usually were handicapped, disabled or deformed ... Show more

The novel suggests that the building is far from civilised places, on page twenty four, chapter two;
..On that bleak hill top the earth was hard with a black frost, and the air made shiver through every
limb.. This says that Wuthering Heights is isolated on a bleak hill top, it is dull and miserable and the
earth is ..Hard.. and contains ..Black frost.. . The use of ..Black frost.. is Gothic as it describes even the
frost as evil. Normal frost is white but ..Black frost.. symbolizes evil. This is very Gothic. Emily
Brontë uses a lot of imagery to create tension for the reader. For example on pages thirty one and
thirty two, chapter three when Lockwood is shown to his chamber in Wuthering Heights by Zillah,
Emily Brontë uses a lot of images to create the feeling that the room and the surrounding is coffin like.
This makes the building, Wuthering Heights feel supernatural and very Gothic. The house itself is
very Gothic, containing tall dark arches and gargoyle statues. There are lots of shadows. Emily Brontë
chooses realistic descriptions of the building/house, Wuthering Heights; ..One or two heavy black
ones (chairs) lurking in the shade.. . ..Black.. reoccurs frequently in the novel as it suggests evil. The
word ..Lurking.. is interesting because it suggests that something does not belong in a place , it is
mysterious, as in his case the chairs have no place in Wuthering Heights. Almost as is the chairs are
alive and they have thoughts and

If the company continues to uphold integrity and professionalism and deliver exceptional care in need,
the financial outcome for UHS will defiantly remain positive, but if the company does not, then it will

financial outcomes for UHS as long the budget is performing effectively. On the other hand, if the

Access Control Mechanisms Protect Sensitive Information...
Access control mechanisms protect sensitive information from unauthorized users. However, when
sensitive information is shared and a Privacy Protection Mechanism (PPM) is not in place, an
authorized user can still compromise the privacy of a person leading to identity disclosure. A PPM can
use suppression and generalization of relational data to anonymize and satisfy privacy requirements,
e.g., k anonymity and l diversity, against identity and attribute disclosure. However, privacy is
achieved at the cost of precision of authorized information., we propose an accuracy constrained
privacy preserving access control framework. The access control policies define selection predicates
available to roles while the privacy requirement is to satisfy the k anonymity or l diversity. An
additional constraint that needs to be satisfied by the PPM is the imprecision bound for each selection
predicate. The techniques for workload aware anonymization for selection predicates have been
discussed in the literature. However, to the best of our knowledge, the problem of satisfying the
accuracy constraints for multiple roles has not been studied before. In our formulation of the
aforementioned problem, we propose heuristics for anonymization algorithms and show empirically
that the proposed approach satisfies imprecision bounds for more permissions and has lower total
imprecision than the current state of the art. E. Bertino and R. Sandhu, [5] wrote Database Security

(b) Explain the effects of the with resource and notification conditions that may be incorporated in a
factoring contract.
Factoring is the means in realising debts whereby a firm sells its receivables to a factoring company,
which will then chase the creditors for the debts, making this form of debts a form of asset based
finance (Kravaica et al 2006). The factoring firm would purchase the accounts receivable at a discount
to the face value, which is the cost of the firm s efforts in collecting the debts on behalf of the firm.
The cost of the firm is the discount of the accounts receivable but the benefit of the firm relying on the
factoring service is its access to the funds and not having to expend its efforts in chasing for the debts
(Viney Phillips 2012, 313).
Factoring has been used in increasing popularity for small and medium sized enterprises because these
firms do not have the advantage of a large firm in terms of borrowing and therefore, rely on factoring
for their working capital (Borgia et al 2010).
The factoring contract may vary for different firms but it will specify the parties that are responsible
for future bad debts in case some of the debts become uncollectible. A contract with recourse factoring
means that the factoring company may make a claim against the firm should the accounts receivable
debt becomes bad (Viney Phillips 2012, 313). Logically, the contract with recourse would have a

Contributions Of Julius Caesars
First triumvirate In 59 BC, two of the wealthiest men in Rome agreed to invest in Julius Caesar.
Crassus and Pompey, who despised each other, liked imperium and success more. After having
cleansed the Mediterranean from pirates and Mithridates in a sixth of the expected time allotted to him
by the Senate, Pompey returned with ships and soldiers. He demanded the senate ratify the acts of
settlements he had already determined for his soldiers, but was denied again and again. Crassus
wanted relief for the bid the publicani made, tax collectors who failed to gather the money they
promised the Senate they would from foreign provinces. Caesar promised to provide both in exchange
for patronage to the consulship, as well as gaining his own chosen provincial command to accomodate
his own debts. After forfeiting his triumph, Caesar becomes consul and provides his own land bill that
accommodates veterans in Campania, fulfilling his deal to Pompey. Caesar knew that the veterans and
land owners who were profiting from his bill were also voters. Although Pompey and Crassus were
profiting immediately from their dealings in the first triumvirate, Caesar was clearly investing for long
term benefits. The pontifix maximus In 63 BC, Caesar managed to be a young man in a very old and

Gender Discrimination And The Field Of Science
As a student coming from a purely humanities background, the idea that gender discrimination could
occur in the field of science as a concept was completely alien to me. However it has come to light
that gender discrimination in the field of science is not a myth but in fact a harsh reality for which the
reasons remain skewed.
As according to Linda S. Dix, it is not an easy matter to assess the magnitude of gender discrimination
and how that affects the careers of scientists, both men and women, positively and negatively.
Discrimination is often subtle and thus difficult to identify or locate. Due to its subtleness, it makes it
difficult to measure since it can be entwined with other forms of particularism like age. As a result
researchers have come to rely on indirect rather than direct measures of discrimination which was also
propounded by Harriet Zuckerman. Most researchers have come to agree that differences in career
attainments between men and women occur as an outcome of gender discrimination.
As per research gender provides a perspective from which one could examine the biases that exist in
the larger society. Some believe that to arrive at a more eloquent understanding of the problems of
women in science , one should begin by asking what is the nature of science space that leads to under
representation and marginalisation of women rather than questioning the situation of a woman s life
that makes it difficult for her to pursue science.
Thus, that gender

Social And Economical Factors On Youth Essay
I have chosen to research into the social and economical factors that may influence a youth s
likelihood to engage in delinquency as I believe that understanding the factors underpinning youth
offending may help to reduce youth crime levels, as preventive measures can be aimed at the distinct
root causes recognised. I have chosen to particularly look at the link between the social factor of
education in terms of low school attainment and the wider effect on the economy through looking at
youth unemployment and offending. I believe these social and economical factors are inextricably
linked therefore I hypothesise that low school attainment leads to increases in youth crime levels due
to youths not acquiring the necessary skills to allow a successful entrance to the labour market.
Methodology:
In carrying out this literature review I have engaged in secondary research in order to provide me with
significant qualitative and quantitative data on this given topic. I collected a range of sources through
library searches where I aimed to research previous studies through the use of the internet to access
online resources, books and journals. Upon doing so I found a few books that encompassed the social
and economical factors I specifically chose to review although I found many websites that had
information on the social economical factors that may affect delinquency.
Findings:
Education Low school attainment:
All sources reviewed agreed that there is a correlation

the idea of improving the rights of women. Accomplishing the overall idea, sixty eight women and

man, receive an education, have the right to a divorce and custody of the children, and acquire
property all under the law. American women will forever be indebted to the feminist movement (Lee
135, 139). Elizabeth Cady Stanton s doctrine, The Declaration of Sentiments, have lead the women s
rights movement to success. A resolution that the document states is that woman is man s equal, was
intended to be so by the Creator, and the highest good of the race demands that she should be
recognized as such (Stanton). In 2016, women are born equal to man in the eyes of the law, a woman
can participate in anything a man can. Women in America obtained the right to vote in 1920. Women
continued to make progress during World War II, when millions of women traded in their housewife
life into entering the workforce. 1963 was the year the Equal Pay Act was passed by Congress.
Similarly, a year later, the Civil Rights Act outlawed sex discrimination in the United States, and
added a bill that prohibits sex discrimination specifically in schools ( Feminism 120). These acts were
all inspired and accomplished with the Declaration of Sentiments. American women have
accomplished every task assigned to the feminist movement. Now, feminists keep Americans from

The Marshmallow Effect
Marshmallow Effect Scientists often attribute adaptive and goal directed human behavior to an
intellectual control system that organizes, monitors, and alters the settings of lower level perceptive
processes. This allows people to suppress or replace impulsive, habitual, or inappropriate actions. The
Marshmallow Effect is an experiment conducted by psychologist Walter Mischel in the 1970 s to
study self control in children (Walter, 2013). This experiment is a simple but effective when it comes
to the modern study of the human ability to delay gratification. The studies are about achievement
situations and what influences a child to reach his or her choice. The ability to delay gratification has
commonly been seen in large part as an issue ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

The General Internal Medicine Ward
A lot of the appeal of internal medicine is Sherlockian solving the case from the clues. We are
detectives; we revel in the process of figuring it all out. It s what doctors most love to do Lisa Sanders.
Reflecting on my clinical rotation in the general internal medicine ward, I worked on a variety of
cases. I got to work with a patient who had cirrhosis secondary to Hepatitis C infection, a patient who
had COPD and developed right sided heart failure, a patient who had an un witnessed heart attack that
resulted in brain death, and much more. I enjoyed this variety, and I felt challenged everyday to
identify and evaluate differential diagnoses to come up with an appropriate management for the
patient. I also enjoyed the process of working independently to learn about the mechanism of disease,
and working collaboratively within the ward and in consultation with different services to identify
diagnosis and management plan.
Throughout my medical career, I have strived to succeed with the best of my abilities. I completed all
of my courses with above average scores. I have successfully passed my Step 1, 2 CS and CK, and
MCCEE exams on first attempt. I have used my knowledge to help fellow colleagues by offering
mentorship in to MD3 Neuroscience students while I was in MD4. As a clerk during internal medicine
core rotation I had the opportunity to work in both hospital and clinical setting. I found this
opportunity very rewarding and it helped my developed my patient care.

Loggerhead Research Paper
Loggerhead turtles might be seeing their last day on earth. Humans are killing the loggerhead turtles
each year by commercial fishing and trawls, marine debris, and Artificial lighting on the beaches. We
should make a difference to these loggerhead turtles and help them survive and be close to living a full
live. Humans should not be careless to the innocent creatures. We need to act now, loggerheads are
dying of our cruel actions.
Commercial fishing is a reason so many turtles are dying each year and making them become
endangered. Duke University found that shrimp trawls and commercial fishing nets have killed over
250,000 loggerheads in the human s lifetime. Lots of the turtles are dying to the actions we make.

The lighting causes many turtles to die by leading them away from the moon which can cause
dehydration, getting run over, Etc. There are turtles being born each year and 100 300 turtles are dying
each year due to the lighting on beaches. If the turtles are being affected by lighting on the beaches
many things could happen. A few examples are that the turtles will soon be extinct and we soon will
not be able to see their beauty. The other animal rates could go down also because some of the animals
need to eat the turtles to survive. People should stop putting the lights near the beach now. It kills the
loggerhead turtles each year and soon they will become extinct.
Finally we should make a difference to the loggerhead turtles. We should be careful and think
whenever we are going to the beach. A few things that hurt these turtles are commercial fishing and
fish trawls that capture the turtles and drown them. Another thing we should not do is marine pollution
because the turtles eat things they are not supposed to and most times will die. That last of the 3
reasons is lighting on the beaches that affect the baby turtles of where they re going and kill them. We
should make the world a better place, let s make a difference

The Mariah Carey Christmas Special 2014
The concert that I have selected for my review is the Mariah Carey Christmas special 2014. The
concert took place on December 16 at the beacon theater in New York City and it lasted for
approximately an hour. The concert opened with a performance by a ballerina with classical music.
Then followed by the entrance of Mariah Carey, who was at the center of the stage. The visual of the
concert I have to say personally was amazing and impressive, it had a big Christmas tree in the back
and background with the stars and snowflakes hang from the ceilings, very Christmas like to me. Her
band was dressed in white; she had backup singers and a choir right behind her. She began her concert
with the famous Hark! The Herald Angels Sing / Gloria, personally I was moved by the way she sang
that song, it was moving, it provokes many emotions to me, however this is a song that has a lot of
high notes and it was very hard to hear her voice because she was not able to sing it the way she did.
Although she did not preform this song like she used to, I have to admit that it made me cry a little, it
such a beautiful song and even though she made have sang it under peach, I appreciated her voice and
she was still able to make the song her and put a lot of emotions to it. She seemed to be singing under
notes in other songs that she performed as well. The rhythm was very smooth and the melody was on
point, she was able to hit with a soft approach the lower pitches, however when it came to the high

Country As A Developing Country
Honestly, one would think that in todays modern world every country should be developed. However,
few realize that there are still many developing countries. Mostly due to ignorance, and the majority
doesn t pay attention to the needs of developing countries. For instance, the only time a person may
think of a developing country is when the see the commercials on television, and believes that this
must be the only issues facing developing countries. Normally, people visualize those commercials
asking for money to feed, or asking for help of some type of medical expenses. Take the United States
as an example, and often this country would release funds to foreign aid before their own citizens.
Which could easily cause tension amongst the government and the American people. According to,
SAE there are about 137 developing countries, and countries that earns on average 11,905 or less are a
developing country. There are many different choices when comes to picking a developing country.
However, the country of Sierra Leone will be the country up for discussion. Sierra Leone is one

well as, the capital, Freetown, was founded as a home for reported former slaves. Currently, Sierra

that politicians have to back their parties legislation no matter what, and that politicians despise each

however, everything is not always black and white, and there are a lot of gray areas when it comes to

Difference Between Whites And Native Americans
The United States saw themselves superior to the Native Americans in all ways. One of these
superiorities included the social stance between the whites and the Indians. In the winter of 1811
Tecumseh preached to the Osages, The white men despise and cheat the Indians; they abuse and insult
them; they do not think the red men sufficiently good to live. The Natives begin to realize that they
have always been mistreated by the whites and understand that they are seen as inferior towards the
whites. This is similar to John Ross s experience; he was once liked very much by many white men,
until after he married a white woman. Their marriage aroused harsh anger and he soon became

exactly the company is underperforming. One of the recommendations would be scenario planning. It
would be beneficial to analyze various cases where different product categories can be changed and to

recommendation would be to synthesize all available input from all possible sources internal and

Dental Hygiene Importance
As stated by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Each year, more than 30,000 new cases of
cancer of the oral cavity and pharynx are diagnosed and over 8,000 deaths due to oral cancer occur.
(CDC). Most adults are unaware that they have periodontal disease or gum disease, this occurs
because they do not maintain routine checkups with their dentist. When we insert food and other
bacteria into our mouths, it affects our teeth and gums. We need routine dental checkups and cleanings
throughout our lives. Dental checkups usually involve x rays, cleanings, and the examination of the
mouth.
Dental health is one of the most important matters in our lives. Without proper dental tonicity, people
can obtain dental problems, which can be as severe as death. In order to maintain proper dental care
go to your dentist every six months. It is also important to change your toothbrush regularly, floss, use
fluoride, and eat healthy foods. Healthy foods may consist of fruits, vegetables, breads, meats, and
drinking water is crucial to your dental health by maintaining a moisturized mouth. A moisturized
mouth protects our hard and soft oral tissues. Children and adults should know the benefits of
maintaining proper oral hygiene while preventing poor oral asepticism.. Not only does good oral
hygiene affects our mouth it also affects our overall health.
According to the World Health Organization, Worldwide, 60 90% of school children and nearly 100%

saying great people leave behind a legacy for others to follow and build on. The sands of time is a
metaphor referring to the sand in an hourglass counting time. The footprints are the positive things in a
person s life left to impact others. Living life each day to the fullest can allow someone to seize the

Analysis Of The Movie The Help
The Help is a drama set in Jackson, Mississippi during the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960 s. The
film focuses on the development of Eugenia Skeeter Phelan, a young, aspiring Anglo American author
trying to find her way in the world of writing. After becoming closer acquainted with Aibileen, an
African American maid employed by her peer Elizabeth Leefolt, Skeeter becomes more aware of the
racist attitudes that white Americans in her community have towards black Americans. After
successfully interviewing Minny, Aibileen s best friend and fellow maid, Skeeter interviews the maids
of multiple households and collects their stories and experiences of their lives. This leads Skeeter on a
risky path towards bringing awareness to black ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The Mammy is a stereotypical black motherly figure that has cast African American actors as either
slaves or domestic help in the film industry since its inception. For example in the classic 1939 film
Gone with the Wind adapted from Margaret Mitchell s 1936 novel set during the American Civil war
in 1861, the character named Mammy is played by African American actress Hattie McDaniel. In this
role Mammy is portrayed as an overweight, elderly, black servant. She is beyond the years of
childbearing but who is devoted to the white O Hara family she is assigned to nurture. In the book she
is described as, a huge old woman with the small, shrewd eyes of an elephant. She was shining black,
pure African, devoted to her last drop of blood to the O Haras... (Mitchell, 1936) . Since this depiction
a Mammy has become an archetypal figure that began with slavery but continued to be depicted by
white Americans as classic domesticated help. Like McDaniel s character these women are most often
characterised as portly with large breasts (Gray, 2004) devoid of any sexual identity. In The Help the
appearance of the African American maids, particularly the main character, Aibileen, is reminiscent of
the Mammy figure. Aibileen is not portrayed as overweight as Hattie McDaniel s character, but she is
noticeably larger than all of the white characters in the film. Aibileen also has very dark skin which
separates her from her white counterparts. In the novel Aibileen compares

Otto Van Bismarck
Under the reign of William II, Germany s foreign policy transitioned to a more aggressive state, while
maintaining the goals enacted by Otto Van Bismarck. German foreign policy from 1890 1913 became
a problem for Germany because of its increased threat and involvement in conflicts. These decisions
led to a hatred and fear of Germany that Bismarck had fought to prevent during his time.
While both Bismarck and William II ruled Germany, both tried to keep the Nightmare Coalition from
forming, but the two regimes attempted to prevent this in different manners. Under Bismarck,
Germany tried to prevent the Nightmare Coalition of France, England, and Russia by turning nearly
all the countries in Europe against France by making Napoleon III look like the aggressor in the
Austro Prussian War. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
William II tried to break up the Nightmare Coalition, but instead made himself look like an aggressive
and unpredictable leader, this in turn strengthened the bond between England and France, while
adding Russia to this friendship in the Triple Entente. To make the situation even worse Germany
decided to intrude on the French colony of Morocco not once, but twice! This further showed the
German s brash and threatening behavior. William II made the issue even worse when he decided to
make Germany an even stronger power than it was. According to Mahan s book, Influence of Sea
Power in History, the way to do this is through a large navy. William II agreed with this idea and with
his power decided to make it happen. This building of a massive navy made all the countries in
Europe fearful and unset about the thought of a powerful Germany with the best army and a navy
strong enough to instill fear in England. Thus, the foreign policy under William II was aggressive and
centered around making Germany become the supreme superpower at the

Christianity And The Rise Of Christianity Essay
Christianity in the 21st century is the largest religion in the world and has over two billion followers.
Christians classify themselves under 34,000 different denominations. This popular religion is all about
the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. When a religion is born so is a holy book to remember
it by. The bible is considered the word of God and is known for its infamous stories and sayings. The
Bible contains rules and righteous acts to live by. Many question as to how Christianity spread and to
what extent did Jesus Christ and his apostles go through in order to gain followers. A major reason for
the spread of Christianity was because people seeked comfort in the promise of the afterlife and found
the need to preform charitable deeds euphoric. Jesus Christ founded Christianity which later on began
to spread its meaning around the Roman Empire by his apostles. Jesus Christ was also born a Jew in
about 7 B.C and almost all of his followers at that time were Jews as well. Jesus Christ also observed
the Jewish faith and was very well experienced with the Jewish law. Jesus Christ s mission was made
to spread the word of God to mankind. As converts to Christianity increased, the religion as well
began to spread. This all began somewhat 2000 years ago in what is now Israel but was at that time,
Judea. Christianity was quite linked to Judaism; they both shared similar rules and meanings to what
the religions held. The emperor of Rome was Nero, who was famously

Unemployment and Its Effect on the Economy and Society
Unemployment is an ongoing problem throughout the world. One may asked, what is unemployment?
It is the number of persons who are willing and able to work but are unable to find jobs.
Unemployment is harmful to a country because it imposes costs on a Society. The cost of employment
to a nation can be categorised under three heading, namely · The Social Cost · The Cost to the
Exchequer · The Economic Cost The Social Cost of Unemployment The social cost of involuntary
unemployment is incalculable. For an individual, the demoralising effect that it can have clearly
depends upon whether the period of unemployment is short term or long term. Short term
unemployment may have no serious effect on an individual whilst long term unemployment can ...

This means that society has experienced a lower standard of living than would have been possible
without rising level of unemployment. The loss of potential output resulting from involuntary
unemployment is clearly a serious matter for an economy. Resources which are willing and able to
work in order to raise the rate of output and to boost living standards are failing to be employed. This
is a true waste of resources. It is not so clear, however, whether the loss of potential output through
voluntary unemployment is so serious. It may simple mean that be that more people are taking
advantage of higher social security benefits to spend more time searching for suitable jobs. There are
numerous causes to the problem of unemployment which may vary from country to country. Amongst
them are Natural unemployment The level of natural unemployment can be defined as the number of
persons who are employed even when the labour market is in long run equilibrium that is when the
total demand for labour is equal to the supply of labour at the prevailing level of real wage rates. In
this situation, people may be unemployed because: · they are between jobs and are taking time to
search for the most appropriate job with the highest wage(search unemployment) · the industry in
which they have traditionally worked have experienced a structural decline or has been influenced by
technological advances (structural unemployment) · there has been a seasonal

This industry is benefiting from the economic downturn because less people are eating at restaurants. Instead they are making more meals at home. Although this industry is benefiting from the economic downturn, there is a high risk of uncertainty. This is because of the competitiveness of the industry, economic factors, and emerging opportunities that the business unit will have to face. On the other side, the international refrigerated bread industry is the least attractive because of the global economic downturn. The economic recession affected this company particularly hard. Spain is the main country that supported this industry for refrigerated bread and got hit harder than other countries. Spain is also the only country that is looking to continue the want for refrigerated bread, whereas other countries are turning to fresh breads as its leading bread products causing the projected growth rate to decrease significantly. • 8. Examine the Gothic Elements in the Novel Wuthering... Examine the Gothic Elements in the Novel Wuthering Heights, by Emily Brontë Gothic literature originated and was very strong at the time of the Romantic Writers Movement. They were very popular and had authors such as Horace Walpole who wrote The Castle of Oranto , and novels such as Frankenstein and Dracula . Gothic novels all had a similarity between each other. They always had typical Gothic features which alleviated the novel in one way or another. For example, most Gothic novels involved settings which generally added fear and suspense. They were always quite dark, scary and isolated. Also the characters of the Gothic novels never seemed to fit in the community and the society. They usually were handicapped, disabled or deformed ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The novel suggests that the building is far from civilised places, on page twenty four, chapter two; ..On that bleak hill top the earth was hard with a black frost, and the air made shiver through every limb.. This says that Wuthering Heights is isolated on a bleak hill top, it is dull and miserable and the earth is ..Hard.. and contains ..Black frost.. . The use of ..Black frost.. is Gothic as it describes even the frost as evil. Normal frost is white but ..Black frost.. symbolizes evil. This is very Gothic. Emily Brontë uses a lot of imagery to create tension for the reader. For example on pages thirty one and thirty two, chapter three when Lockwood is shown to his chamber in Wuthering Heights by Zillah, Emily Brontë uses a lot of images to create the feeling that the room and the surrounding is coffin like. This makes the building, Wuthering Heights feel supernatural and very Gothic. The house itself is very Gothic, containing tall dark arches and gargoyle statues. There are lots of shadows. Emily Brontë chooses realistic descriptions of the building/house, Wuthering Heights; ..One or two heavy black ones (chairs) lurking in the shade.. . ..Black.. reoccurs frequently in the novel as it suggests evil. The word ..Lurking.. is interesting because it suggests that something does not belong in a place , it is mysterious, as in his case the chairs have no place in Wuthering Heights. Almost as is the chairs are alive and they have thoughts and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

However, when sensitive information is shared and a Privacy Protection Mechanism (PPM) is not in place, an authorized user can still compromise the privacy of a person leading to identity disclosure. A PPM can use suppression and generalization of relational data to anonymize and satisfy privacy requirements, e.g., k anonymity and l diversity, against identity and attribute disclosure. However, privacy is achieved at the cost of precision of authorized information., we propose an accuracy constrained privacy preserving access control framework. The access control policies define selection predicates available to roles while the privacy requirement is to satisfy the k anonymity or l diversity. An additional constraint that needs to be satisfied by the PPM is the imprecision bound for each selection predicate. The techniques for workload aware anonymization for selection predicates have been discussed in the literature. However, to the best of our knowledge, the problem of satisfying the accuracy constraints for multiple roles has not been studied before. In our formulation of the aforementioned problem, we propose heuristics for anonymization algorithms and show empirically that the proposed approach satisfies imprecision bounds for more permissions and has lower total imprecision than the current state of the art. Factoring is the means in realising debts whereby a firm sells its receivables to a factoring company, which will then chase the creditors for the debts, making this form of debts a form of asset based finance (Kravaica et al 2006). The factoring firm would purchase the accounts receivable at a discount to the face value, which is the cost of the firm s efforts in collecting the debts on behalf of the firm. The cost of the firm is the discount of the accounts receivable but the benefit of the firm relying on the factoring service is its access to the funds and not having to expend its efforts in chasing for the debts (Viney Phillips 2012, 313). Factoring has been used in increasing popularity for small and medium sized enterprises because these firms do not have the advantage of a large firm in terms of borrowing and therefore, rely on factoring for their working capital (Borgia et al 2010). The factoring contract may vary for different firms but it will specify the parties that are responsible for future bad debts in case some of the debts become uncollectible. Gender Discrimination And The Field Of Science As a student coming from a purely humanities background, the idea that gender discrimination could occur in the field of science as a concept was completely alien to me. However it has come to light that gender discrimination in the field of science is not a myth but in fact a harsh reality for which the reasons remain skewed. As according to Linda S. Dix, it is not an easy matter to assess the magnitude of gender discrimination and how that affects the careers of scientists, both men and women, positively and negatively. Discrimination is often subtle and thus difficult to identify or locate. Due to its subtleness, it makes it difficult to measure since it can be entwined with other forms of particularism like age. As a result researchers have come to rely on indirect rather than direct measures of discrimination which was also propounded by Harriet Zuckerman. Most researchers have come to agree that differences in career attainments between men and women occur as an outcome of gender discrimination. As per research gender provides a perspective from which one could examine the biases that exist in the larger society. Some believe that to arrive at a more eloquent understanding of the problems of women in science , one should begin by asking what is the nature of science space that leads to under representation and marginalisation of women rather than questioning the situation of a woman s life that makes it difficult for her to pursue science. Thus, that gender ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

I have chosen to particularly look at the link between the social factor of education in terms of low school attainment and the wider effect on the economy through looking at youth unemployment and offending. I believe these social and economical factors are inextricably linked therefore I hypothesise that low school attainment leads to increases in youth crime levels due to youths not acquiring the necessary skills to allow a successful entrance to the labour market. These women addressed the idea of improving the rights of women. I got to work with a patient who had cirrhosis secondary to Hepatitis C infection, a patient who had COPD and developed right sided heart failure, a patient who had an un witnessed heart attack that resulted in brain death, and much more. I enjoyed this variety, and I felt challenged everyday to identify and evaluate differential diagnoses to come up with an appropriate management for the patient. I also enjoyed the process of working independently to learn about the mechanism of disease, and working collaboratively within the ward and in consultation with different services to identify diagnosis and management plan. Throughout my medical career, I have strived to succeed with the best of my abilities. I completed all of my courses with above average scores. I have successfully passed my Step 1, 2 CS and CK, and MCCEE exams on first attempt. I have used my knowledge to help fellow colleagues by offering mentorship in to MD3 Neuroscience students while I was in MD4. The concert took place on December 16 at the beacon theater in New York City and it lasted for approximately an hour. The concert opened with a performance by a ballerina with classical music. Then followed by the entrance of Mariah Carey, who was at the center of the stage. Although she did not preform this song like she used to, I have to admit that it made me cry a little, it such a beautiful song and even though she made have sang it under peach, I appreciated her voice and she was still able to make the song her and put a lot of emotions to it.
