with hemiplegia that electrical stimulation is mostly used method, FES is best and effective therapy
and other methods such as bandaging, positioning, handling, heat therapy, cold therapy and ultrasound
are supportive methods.
David et al. (2004) did a study using intramuscular neuromuscular electric stimulation (NMES) for
supraspinatus, posterior deltoid, middle deltoid, and trapezius for 6 hours/day for 6 weeks and using a

Within this essay, I will reflect on an event that I witnessed during clinical placement, focussing on the
process of non directed donation (RCOG, 2006) of umbilical cord blood via the onsite NHS Blood and
Transport (NHSBT) team, as well as the related issue with the antenatal communication and
subsequent consent to utilise the service. In order to maintain confidentiality in accordance with the
Nursing and Midwifery Council s Code of Conduct (NMC, 2008) and The Data Protection Act (1998),
the hospital and the people involved in the event, (as well as those involved in subsequent
conversations as a result) will not be referred to by name. I have used the Gibbs reflective cycle

Public education in the state of Texas is not at its best right now. Students are not being challenged to
think anymore. As the second most populous state of the United States, I believe that Texas should be
at the top of public education not only in the country, but in the world. We should change how and
what teacher are teaching to students. Now days we go to school to memorize keywords so we can
graduate and get a diploma. After that, some students that don t go to college don t reuse the
information that was taught to them for four years, so basically the schools wasted resources and
money, and students lost time. I believe we can and should strike for greatness and change the public

The argument of Creation vs. Evolution has been debated for quite sometime. Since Darwin s theory
of Evolution by Natural Selection was published, some of those that thought the world and its
