Letter are used to make words .
Words are used to make sentences.
A sentences is a group of words that makes complete sentences. It has at least
one subject and one verb.

In English grammar, we use the word ‘subject’
to talk about the person or thing (a noun or
pronoun).

In English grammar, a helping verb is a verb that comes before
the main verb (or lexical verb) in a sentence. Together the
helping verb and the main verb form a verb phrase. (A helping
verb is also known as an auxiliary verb.)A helping verb always
stands in front of a main verb.

This term refers to the important verb in the sentence,
the one that typically shows the action or state of
being of the subject. Main verbs can stand alone, or
they can be used with a helping verb, also called an
auxiliary verb.

  • 5. SENTENCES Letter are used to make words . Words are used to make sentences. A sentences is a group of words that makes complete sentences. It has at least one subject and one verb. Exp - R A H U L Rahul is good boy. Exp - Rahul is running. Example- Subject Verb
  • 6. SENTENCES DIFFERENT kINDS OF SENTENCES. SENTENCES FUNCTION 1= What are you doing ? 2= It’s not a rock. 3= Don’t touch that. 4= What a beautiful rock it is ! Ask a question. Declaring something. Give a command. Express surprise or admiration.

  • 8. Subject In English grammar, we use the word ‘subject’ to talk about the person or thing (a noun or pronoun).

  • 13. Main verb This term refers to the important verb in the sentence, the one that typically shows the action or state of being of the subject. Main verbs can stand alone, or they can be used with a helping verb, also called an auxiliary verb.
