2. VPC stands for Virtual Private Cloud.
VPC provides a logically isolated area of the
AWS cloud where you can launch AWS
resources in a virtual network that you define.
This virtual network closely resembles a
traditional network that you'd operate in your
own data center, with the benefits of using
the scalable infrastructure of AWS.

3. As one of AWS's foundational services,
Amazon VPC makes it easy to customize
your VPC's network configuration.
A VPC spans all of the Availability Zones in
the Region.
Each VPC defines what your AWS
resources need, including:
IP addresses
Subnets
Routing
Security
Networking functionality

4. Subnet
A subnet is a range of IP addresses in
your VPC.
To define access to the internet and
between subnets, we use Route Tables
You can create a public-facing subnet for
your web servers that have access to the
internet.
VPC lets you to use multiple layers of
security, including security groups and
network access control lists.

Amazon VPC supports IPv4 and IPv6
addressing.
When you create a VPC, you must specify
a range of IPv4 addresses for the VPC in
the form of a Classless Inter-Domain
Routing (CIDR) block.
The allowed block size is between a /16
netmask (65,536 IP addresses) and /28
netmask (16 IP addresses).
