similar. The two men are given a task to save humankind from a flood and succeed and are
rewarded. The major basic events that take place in the stories a similar however the smaller

identical. In Genesis God sent the Flood to destroy humankind because of man s wickedness.
Unlike The Gilgamesha where the reason was never said however the sender of the flood was a
secret council of gods the idea was brought up by Enlil , the god of earth wind and air. God
favored Noah because he was a righteous man therefore, he was chosen to build the ark that was

directly to Noah to tell him about the Flood where as Ea was swore to secrecy so he repeated

the floor came in Gilgamesh it was only rainwater however the Flood in Genesis was rain water

version of the story to the concept. The similarities in the book and movie are so close together with

Most of Durkheim s work on suicide was published in his third book, Suicide. It was a very
important book because it was a serious effort to establish empiricism in sociology. This
empiricism would provide a sociological perspective on a phenomenon that was previously
psychological and individualistic.
He proposed three major forms of suicide, some with subdivisions. These three forms of suicide

The next, altruistic suicide, is the complete opposite of egoistic suicide. A person who commits
altruistic suicide thinks that the larger group is more important than he is. All things of the
larger group take precedent over the individual which leads to suicide. We discussed honorable
suicide under this category and one thing still bothers me from that discussion. Our humble
narrator gave the example of a soldier jumping on a grenade as a form of honorable suicide. I
disagree with this statement. I would argue that this is not a form of suicide but a form of training.
This man or woman is trained to give his life for his country. It isn t logical to think that the person
jumping on the grenade thinks that he is committing suicide. Aside from that aspect, I feel that I
understand this form of suicide the most. I think that being overlooked by the dominant group can
lead to a person taking their own life. There are numerous times where we have seen on the news
about the kid no one paid attention to taking his or her own life.
Next, there is anomic suicide. This idea was the hardest for me to understand because it seems to
go against logic at first. My interpretation of anomic is that a person has to have a set amount or

Abstract:
The purpose of this lab was to test the law of definite proportions for the synthesis reaction of
combusting magnesium. In this lab, the polished magnesium ribbon was placed in covered
crucible and was heated in order for it to react with Oxygen presented in air and in water provided.
The result showed that Magnesium oxide formed through chemical reaction was made up of
60.19% magnesium and 39.81% oxygen, which is approximate proportion of both particles in
every Magnesium oxide compound. From this lab it can be concluded that the law of definite
proportion stating that the elements in a pure compound combine in definite proportion to each
other is factual.

From this table it can be proved that the percentage composition for magnesium and oxygen is

the Museum of Glass.The glass house is also a place that allows people to do yoga while they look

choose from made developing the PowerPoint an easier and quicker process.
Another feature offered in PowerPoint is the ability to add notes to a slide. Notes can be added
to the slide so the presenter can elaborate to the audience any additional information that goes
with the slide. However, the notes do not fit on the slides (Bethel University, 2017). Slides only
allow minimal information to fit on each one or they can become too busy and distracting to the
audience. Therefore, the additional notes can contain the details that are not on the slide. Notes
can be viewed two ways. They can be viewed in the Note pane in normal view, or the Notes Page
view (Bethel University, 2017). The Note pane works best if the user has only a few notes to
type. These notes will not be visible to the audience, but merely a reference for the presenter.
Unfortunately, prior to my employee evaluation class, I was not aware of the Note pane or Notes
Page. During my class I worked from notes that I had hand written. I have taught the class on
three occasions only to discover during or after each one that I would realize something I needed

to the overwhelming amount of the non native pythons in the Everglades (which is expanding to
the Florida Keys and beyond) there has been a ban on Burmese pythons and 3 other constrictor

The group embraced solidarity with such unions provided that their needs not just as socialists but
the Black feminists were met.
The Combahee River Collective also stresses on the relationship with their subjugation and how it
molded their identities. It is through the use of the identity politics, especially their atypical
experience, that they pursued the immediate freedom for the Black women. Even though the group
called for the liberation of the women of color, the activists did not assume an exclusive standpoint,
but instead a humble ground for their group. The collective did not want pedestals, Queenwood and
