England Is The Most Populated County Of The United Kingdom
England is the most populated county in all of the United Kingdom. Its border is Scotland to the
north and Wales to the west.
It also includes 100 smaller islands. It also is the birthplace of The English language, the Anglican
Church, and English law.
It also created the basis for the common law legal systems of many other countries around the
world.
Which has been widely adopted by other nations.
Landscape
The landscape of England mostly consists of low hills and plains, especially in central and the
southern part of England.
Also there are uplands in the north Like the mountainous Lake District, Pennies, and Yorkshire
Dales. The capital of England is London.
Which is the largest urban zone in the European Union. It has a population of over 53 million
people.
This is about 84% of the population of the United Kingdom, largely concentrated around London.

Into The Revolutionary War Analysis
This week s readings begin to stray away from the Seven Years War and into the Revolutionary
War. The Revolutionary War occurred because the Americans colonist wanted to be free from
Great Britain s control. King George III would go above the legislative of the colonies and force
orders without consent. So many felt that the only way to obtain freedom from Great Britain and
control their own government is they must fight for it. Patrick Henry states, The war is inevitable
and let it come! I repeat it, sir, let it come (Henry 44). There was no way to avoid going to war,
rather it was the only solution that would lead to the colonies freedom. In this war between the
British and Americans, Native Americans were involved and were heavily

grouped variables death_white, death_female, death_male, and death_bothsexes with most
northeastern states (Figures 11 12). As mentioned above, California, Florida, Illinois, and Texas
are grouped in cluster 1 with the least death toll populations but are receiving the most federal
funding when it appeared their demographic population did not need a lot of funding compared to

Bodily Intelligent Research Paper
People can be intelligent in different ways some of these ways are being naturalist intelligence,
bodily kinesthetic intelligence, and interpersonal intelligence. Naturalist is an intelligent by
understanding living things and reading or being a part of nature. Next is bodily kinesthetic is an
intelligent by coordinating your mindwith your body. Finally, interpersonal is an intelligent by
sensing or feelingsomeone s emotions or feelings by looking at them.
One way can be intelligent is interpersonal intelligent. Interpersonal is an intelligent by sensing
and understanding people s feelings and motives. This is an intelligent because people can look
at someone and understand what they re doing and what they are going to do. David looks at a box
full of corn and can tell how many pieces of corn there is in that box even if there are 64 boxes ...

Bodily kinesthetic is when you coordinate your mind with your body and coordinate what you
need to do in a fast reaction and do what you are thinking. When people meditate, or pray that is a
form of bodily kinesthetic because they fuse their mind with their body to get more power or to
believe in something greater. When Charlie accepted with his body to his mind that he wasn t
smart and will never be smart but he goes to find a solution. That sometimes I coordinate my mind
with my body to do what I tell my body to do or what I Think.
The last way of intelligence is naturalist, naturalist that which involves being with nature. Naturalist
is when you understand living things and reading nature or understanding nature. That there are a
lot of people that do a lot of things that include nature like fishing or gardening. This relates to
flowers of Algernon because Charlie does activate with Algernon the mouse that he hangs out with
to understand him. I can relate to this because sometimes I go out to a lake and I fish for a couple

Effects Of Advertising In Advertising
The Brain on Ads
We see advertisements every day. They are everywhere. Advertisements like to tell consumers what
to get and which is the best, saying that with this product it you will be happy and satisfied.
Consumers probably believe that they have their own preferences, but, what they believe is them
choosing what to buy and have, advertisements are subconsciously swaying them one way or
another. Big advertising companies makes people believe that one drink differs from the other or
that one burger is better than the competitor. According to The Brain: Marketing to your mind by
Alice park. Alice brings up very good claims on how advertising effects our brains; claiming that
advertisements tap into our emotions to sell and claims that these advertisements even trick many
into that a brand image correlates to satisfaction eventually creating brand loyalty just from
seeing commercials. Alice Park shows us in her article that big advertisement companies pull in
many people with their appeal of the item from the colors on the screen to the display of how the
product is placed all to make their brand the best and persuade us into buying it. Advertisements
put all these effects in motion to get to the one main thing, your perceptions. Perceptions play a
large roll in these advertisements. An advertisement with someone sipping on a coke and seems
satisfied or when watching an Old Spice commercial that someone who smells good also looks
good, this all triggers something in us

Buddhism And Its Impact On Buddhism
On one hand, Buddhism was founded in northeastern India from the teachings and doctrines taught
in the VI and V centuries BC by Siddhartha Gautama, better known as Buddha or the Enlightened
One.
Although originally emerged as a monastic movement within the dominant Brahmin tradition at that
time, Buddhism developed quickly in another direction and acquired characteristics. Buddha not
only rejected some important aspects of the philosophy of Hinduism, but also challenged the
authority of their leaders, did not accept the validity of Vedic scriptures and argued against the
sacrificial cult based on these texts. Moreover, Buddha opened his movement to people of all
castes, openly rejecting the idea that the spiritual affairs of the people were determined by the
social class into which they are born.
Buddhism is one of the major world religions in terms of adherents, geographical distribution, and
social and cultural influence. Its founder, Siddhartha Gautama believed in karma (cause and effect
ethics), Maya (the illusory nature of the world), and Samsara (the cycle of reincarnation) among
other things. Buddhists believe that the ultimate goal in life is to achieve enlightenment as they
perceive their existence.
So Buddhism seeks liberation from suffering, the goal is Nirvana. Once reached, suffering ceases to
affect the practitioner. It is important to understand that Nirvana is not heaven, or that the Buddha
as Arahant or referred to those who have reached full peace are

How Did Ruth Bader Ginsberg Impact Society
Throughout time, many individuals have stood up and fought for what they believed in. Many
have impacted society, but the most important ones are the people who took charge and lead
others to accomplish what seemed impossible. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg has
impacted American society by being a superb role model. Ruth Bader has demonstrated her idol
stance by proving women could also excel as much as men can academically. When Ginsberg
went to Cornell University in 1954, She earned her bachelor s degree in government as well as
finishing first in her class. according to the article titled Biography: Ruth Bader Ginsberg 1933 .
Outclassing others as a female, proves that hard work and effort outshines society s gender role
stereotypes. Ginsberg has also excelled academically, Becoming the first female member of the

Fugue Bach Shostakovich

Comparative Fugal Analysis
The fugue is often regarded as a genre defined by strict procedural guidelines. It is notable that
three historically important composers, Johann Sebastian Bach (1685 1750), Georg Friedrich
Handel (1685 1759), and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart(1756 1791), all employed a closely related
fugue subject in three different works. An analysis of each of these works individually, and a
comparison of these works collectively reveal numerous latent and salient features, and a
reflection of the composers style within these works. Analyses also provide an outlook into the
fluidity in certain aspects and rigidity in others of the form itself, reflected historically. The three
composers analyzed fall closely together in history. J.S. Bach and G.F. Handel were
contemporaries, whereas Mozart was born six years after Bach s death and three years before
Handel s death. Analytically, the angularity of these similar fugue subjects presupposes a treatment
regardless of the composer. Because of the shared intervallic content among the subjects of these
fugues, despite being written by several different composers, a surprising number of similarities
arise. Therefore, it is reasonable to assert that compositional choices made in the construction of the
fugue subjects limit the number of results possible.
This analysis will use the A minor fugue from of J.S. Bach s The Well Tempered Clavier, Book 2

PCC would be the last segment. Although they have an excess amount of average balances, they do
not prefer to trade online which makes them has the least profit potential.
Should DLJdirect target the Get Rich Fast (day trader) segment? Why?
Since this segment traded more frequently than others, they value DLJdirect fast and reliable
service that the company could offer. DLJdirect could provide the services that GRF segment
sought which are low fees, transaction confidence and site performance. The company could
attempt to target this segment but they should not spend a huge amount of money for this customer
acquisition. Based on exhibit 10 in the document, it showed that the size of this market segment is
reducing as the years go by. When compared to high end customers, the company needs to assign a
higher discount rate to this segment because they swing the health of the stock market. Another
problem is that this segment consists of less affluent traders. Therefore, it is advisable for them not
to go into this market because the company could not build a long term profitability in this segment.
In your opinion, are there other customer segments that DLJdirect should target? Why?
In my opinion, DLJdirect should not target other customer segments besides AA and GRF. The
reason is because the company has been doing well in AA segment which is proven by the
company good financial standing.

Sustained Release Analysis
Time released supplements are dissolved slowly and deliver a steady amount of vitamins over a
period of time. Sustained release has a longer half life and produces stable levels of the vitamin
throughout the day (Cascade, Kalali, Weisler, 2008). They are enteric coated, which protects them
from being digested in the stomach. They contain tiny pellets of the vitamin, each individually
coated so that their contents are steadily released overtime (United States Pharmacopeia, 2012).
Extended release is designed to prolong absorption of vitamins with shorter half lives. This allows
for longer dosing intervals and decreases fluctuations in serum levels (Perucca, 2009). One
example is extended release niacin which helps avoid side effects of flushing ... Show more content

1.1Background
Recently, the world is facing with an energy crisis due to the depletion of resources and increased
environmental problems. Referring to this issue, search for alternative fuel is very important,
which is not only sustainable but also environmental friendly (Barnwal and Sharma, 2005). Jatropha

An Analysis Of Catullus Poetry
I have read that you have had a interesting life. I think that it is interesting that your family was
not wealthy, does that affect the fact that you did not get married? I would be really interested if
you were affected by that. Were you really a descendant of Celts and Iberians? That would be
cool if you could date back to then. You were also born along the Salo river? That must of been
good for growing food since you have a water source nearby. I still can not believe that you were
in a group, plotting to kill the emperor Nero, and have encountered the one and only Lucan! You,
Martial born to a unwealthy family, was born on one of Rome s seven hills, Quirinal! That is super
cool! You also introduced few themes not introduced by Catullus... Show more content on

You also were a hilarious but kinda of a rude person. When you were writing these poems, did
people approve it ? When would you find the ideas of writing such harsh but funny poems? If
you would think of doing these types of things on you fellow comrades, you would have no
friends at all! Have you ever been acted to like this? Once you have, think how harsh you are to
others and how it affects the people you make fun of! Did you ever think of using kind words in
your poetry? That might be a good idea if you want to be liked by anyone. I know some people,
but none as mean or offensive as you. Even though you had a lot of people not make you their
top star, you were still recognized for your work. If children saw, spoke, or heard your work,
their parents would not approve. You made lots of work that was good, but not very appropriate.
Were you made fun of in your past life? If that happened, that would not be surprising, since you
also were making the same type of offensive poetry as someone would do to you. The life of you
is and always was very interesting along with all of the poetry you create. Would you purposely
or accidentally make the epigrams offensive? How and why did you make so many epigrams?
You would be with my angry side if you would insult me once. Only one insult and I would be

romans saw you, they would cringe and think they should run before an insult comes out of his

(Master builders, 2009).
Site drainage management is a very important part of the design of footing system. It is because the
site drainage could influence the success of the footing system, the maintenance of the site drainage
influencing the economic life of the building and the site drainage plan is required to be

There are several soil results might happen after the tree removal in this case, from limited
influence to significant damage. As this case just mentioned the site soil classification of this
reclaimed land is H1 but not mention the soil type. If it s sandy area, removal trees might cause
less damage to the soil because sand does not swell or shrink with changes in moisture (Victorian
building authority, 2015). However, if these trees are used to take more moisture from the
underground water system in clay soil land, the tree removal land will become more wet or dry
due to the different surrounding agricultural situation. For example, if there are heavy rainy after
the tree removal and there are no other trees or shrubs around the site, too much accumulated
water will stay on the hole and change the clay soils to be more reactive. On the other hand, if
there are other big trees and shrubs around the site, the extra moisture will be absorbed by these
trees and the site soil is going to be dry. Thus, the classification of the soil will be changed and it
lead to change the footing construction system as well. All in all, tree conditions should be
considered before the removal and a more careful site filling and cleaning jobs should be

Effect of Pleasant Ambient Odor on Semantic Memory
Memory is a topic that has fascinated scientists throughout time. How it works, how it is
influenced, and how it can be improved are just a few of the many questions that have captured the
attention of researchers around the world. One notable area that has gained attention in the last few
decades is the Proust phenomenon, which is how odors can be especially powerful reminders of
autobiographical experience (Chu Downes, 2000). This proposal will be structured to explore if
this phenomenon extends from autobiographical memory to semantic memory.
The Proust phenomenon has been explored and supported by several researchers. For instance, Chu
and Downes (2002) found that odors are indeed especially potent as retrieval cues, to the extent that
they automatically induce the retrieval of unrelated and irrelevant detail in the incongruent odor
condition (p. 6). Additionally, Herz and Schooler (2002) and Castellanos, Hudson, Haviland Jones,
and Wilson (2010) concluded after ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In one study, Smith, Nielson, Woodard, Seidenberg, and Verber (2011) found significant evidence
that physical activity improved semantic memory in participants with amnestic mild cognitive
impairment (aMCI). Another study of interest found that, while aging had a negative effect on
autobiographical and episodic memory, it did not affect semantic memory (St Laurent, Abdi,
BurianovГЎ, Grady, 2011). The most notable study, which researched the link between semantic
memory and sensory modalities, found evidence supporting that the organization of semantic
memory corresponds to types of information associated with sensory modalities (Marques, 2006).
However, this study only focused on this association in the conceptual sense, not the actual sensory
input; for instance, one question, structured like the others, asked if a dog can bark, bark being the

Cause And Effect Of Hearing Loss
The biggest handicap in the world is negative thinking and that people handicap themselves by
concentrating only on the negative instead of the positive, said Heather Whitestone (Premiere
SPeakers Bureau). Even though Heather Whitestone was deaf, she showed the world that she
was going to have to work hard to achieve success. Many people in the world are affected by
hearing loss. About two million people in the United States are completely deaf, while eighteen to
twenty one people need hearing impairments (Mango 21). Symptoms of hearing loss may include
difficulty understanding words or phrases. Needing to turn the volume up, avoiding social
situations, and trouble hearing consonants are also signs of hearing loss (Mayo Clinic Staff).
There are many types of hearing loss that can be gained. Congenital deafness is when someone is
born being deaf. Three out of every one thousand infants in the United States are born with
congenital deafness (Sheen 16). Another type of hearing loss is the conductive deafness. In this
case, the outer and middle ears, which send sound waves to the inner ear, are having the hearing
problems (11). Lastly, sensorineural hearing lossis when there is damage in the inner ear. The inner
ear s job is to convert sound waves to electrical or neutral impulses, so then it can be carried to
the brain and be translated (15). Causes of hearing loss include environmental and natural causes.
A premature baby is at a higher risk of being deaf (18). Ear

The Importance Of Use
Notwithstanding its prominence in the literature, a major shortcoming of the TAM method is its
utilitarian focus on cognition and intentionality, rather than affect and emotions. While this may be
useful for explaining SNS account creation, it is insufficient for explaining continuous SNS use and
engagement. Furthermore, the framework assumes that all users have the same preferences for the
same technical factors, such as usability. This view completely neglects that users may adapt SNSs
for their own idiosyncratic purposes that may defy the original intentions of designers. As a case in
point, Lu and Lin (2011) demonstrate that perceived enjoyment is a significant predictor of
continued SNS use even more so than other design based... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Other scholars have continued to criticise the over reliance on Facebook in this field of research.
Stoycheff and colleagues (2017, p.9) point out that 559 (84.3%) of the reviewed publications
were single medium studies that examined one SNS in isolation. This represents a burgeoning
literature on the effects of Facebook use, but we oftentimes forget to ask, why we are studying
Facebook in the first place despite the wealth of alternative platforms. Single platform often
studies run the risk of potentially omitting important distinctions between different SNSs in terms
of their social affordances, audiences and uses. Furthermore, focusing on one particular SNS
paints only a partial picture of how people use and are affected by social media (Kim 2014, p.2).
This may limit the generalisability of studies due implicit biases towards particular user groups,
usage patterns, platform policies and social affordances. Examining a social media platform in
isolation, as opposed to being part of a larger social media environment, may thus inadvertently
inhibit the reliability, generalisability and interpretation of results. Despite the wealth of studies on
users motivations for joining individual SNSs, in addition to recent scholarly work on the
gratifications obtained from each site (Papacharissi Mendelson 2011; Shao 2009; Whiting Williams
2013), little

Religious and Belief Systems in Australia
Religious and Belief Systems in Australia
Q1. Outline the changing patterns of religious adherence in Australia from 1945 to the present.
There has been a lot of change in religious adherence since the end of the Second World War. At
the end of the war many Australians still had British ancestors and so most people were Christian.
With immigrants arriving in Australia after the war we started to see new religions grow.
Orthodox Christians came from places like Greece, for example. The Catholics have continued to
grow in numbers while some other Christian faiths have decreased in size. One reason why the
Catholic Church is growing is because of the arrival of immigrants from places like Africa and the
Philippines.
With the arrival of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There used to be a time when most people stuck with the religion that their parents followed.
These days more people are choosing denominational switching. This means that many people are
no longer making life long commitments to one church in particular. They are more likely to go
wherever they feel comfortable and look for a church that suits their needs.New age religions were
among the fastest growing faiths in the 2001 census, increasing by 140 percent in the five years
since 1996. New age religions differ from other faiths in that, while together they form an overall
spiritual movement, they nonetheless lack any singles unifying creed or doctrine. Adherents do
tend to share some similar beliefs and practices, which are often grafted onto other, more
formalised religious beliefs.
Another reason for denominational switching is that some parents separate or get divorced.
Surveys have shown that children from families that have broken up are more likely to stop
following the family religion. A study of people in Catholic and Protestant churches found the
following pattern: If a family was broken up because of divorce, Catholics were 1.7 times more
likely to switch to a moderate protestant church and 2.6 times more likely to switch to a
conservative protestant church.
For many years there has been a number of Australians who describe themselves as having no
religion on the census. In the 2011 census, (http://www.abs.gov.au )22.3% of the

Bigotry And Prejudice Similarities
Prejudice and bigotry are similar in ways of singling out a group of people and disliking them. In
history prejudice has escalated quickly into wars, most notable of such would be, world war II
(Hitler s concentration camps) and the American Civil war (battle for slave freedom in the U.S.)
Anybody is capable of being prejudice, the battle of prejudice has been around as long as we have
documentation for. Prejudice is even found in the Bible, when the Hebrews were being held as
slaves in Egypt and Moses came in leading them to the promise land of Jerusalem. Prejudice is
caused by the stereotyping of a group of people without getting to know them. One could link this to
sociocultural psychology, because they are basing their hatred to a certain

Totem by Thomas King is a satirical short story about the issues in our country regarding
aboriginals and their rights. He uses humour and allegory to open canadian s eyes to the more
serious issues that we are faced with. The story is set in a Southwest Alberta Art Gallery and
Prairie Museum. A place built by white men and representing in a sense, white man s canada. King
uses the perspective of the museum staff, in order to see how they view and try to deal with the
totem problem. from the perspective of the staff, this is an issue of tolerance. obviously, the
aboriginals don t want to be tolerated, they want to be respected and treated as equals. King uses a
strong sense of humour to emphasize the ridiculousness of that ideology. Using satirical humour in
my opinion, is more appropriate than taking the issue of tolerance seriously.

Gandhi Case Study
Gandhi was born in suppressed India in 1869, which was four years after the end of the American
Civil War. Gandhi studied law in London, England. Gandhi liked that the English respected the law.
Gandhi disapproved of India s caste system. What made Gandhi s Nonviolent Movement Work?
Gandhi used at least three different tactics to make nonviolencework: disciplined civil disobedience,
accepting jail time, and embracing the enemy.
One nonviolent tactic that Gandhi used to make nonviolence work was disciplined civil
disobedience. According to Webb Miller, The marchers were disciplined by native police who
beat them with metal pipes (Document B). Civil Disobedience allowed the Nonviolent Movement
to work because the marchers were willing to die for change. Since they were willing to sacrifice
themselves to get independence tales me that independence was really important to India. Even
though the marchers got beaten up badly, they did not fight back. By not fighting back, India was
getting closer to get freedom. Webb Miller was there when the marchers were getting hurt. He
wrote down everything he saw and shared with the world. By sharing with the world, people put
pressure to Britain because now the world know what Britain is doing to India. This helped India to
get independence because it hurt Britain s reputation. One nonviolent tactic that Gandhi used to
make nonviolence work was by accepting jail time. When Gandhi was in South Africa, he went to

Middle-Range Theory
Theory Scope Categorizing the Theory Scope, the first step of theory analysis, involves describing
the abstractness of their theory concepts and propositions. While the scope of the grand theory is
nonspecific, the scope of the middle range theory is more specific and limited. A middle range
theory, additionally, can be classified in terms of descriptive, explanatory, or predictive. Leventhal
et al. did not identify the type of their theory. However, the words and sentences that they
mentioned in the CSM can categorize as a middle range theory. The CSM was proposed to
provide the framework for depicting the self regulation when individuals have to encounter stress
caused by an illness and understanding the processes involved in problem coping. Leventhal et
al. described that the CSM consists of three core concepts: representation of illness, coping, and
coping appraisal. The relationship between the concepts was presented in the parallel processing
system that interact as the individual adapts to each specific situation. These processes lead
individuals to seek health care for acute illnesses and manage their illness for chronic conditions.
Additionally, the CSM was used as a theoretical framework in research and applied in practice,
particularly psychological, behavioral, and nursing fields. The results of study can make possible
intervention which would help patients develop valid coping processes. Consequently, The CSM
can be classified as a middle range predictive theory.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Targeting
As shown in Table 1, the target market of V shop is international clothing retailers, such as Zara, H

put toward technology advancements, such as V Shop. When the consumers are shopping for
clothing online, V Shop will help efficiently distribute retailer s products downstream by providing
a full understanding of the clothes what they want to purchase for potential customers.
The reason why the target market for V shop is international retailers, rather than local or
domestic, is because of the likelihood of them being interested in the software. Considering their
high revenues, the bet is on their ability to risk with launching the service on their websites. For
instance, the sales in the apparel sector in 2016 for H M reached $192.267 billion, for Gap Inc.

The Importance of Biological Factors in the Development of Gender Identity
The biosocial theory suggests that gender identity develops as a result of the obvious biological
differences between boys and girls and the hormonal differences between the sexes which can be
observed in the foetus from about six weeks (Durkin, 1995). Supporting evidence has been found
through animal studies, such as that by Young, Goy and Phoenix (1964) who gave testosterone to
pregnant monkeys and found that any female offspring were prone to be unusually aggressive.
Evidence is also found in case studies of humans. Imperato McGinley et al. (1974) studied a family
in the Dominican Republic in which four children were born ... Show more content on

This demonstrates the part played by both hormonal and psychological factors, working against
genetic factors , in the development of gender identity.
The sociobiological theory argues that males and females look and behave differently because
they are driven to behave in ways that maximise their chances to reproduce and pass on their
genes. As females produce a limited supply of eggs at some physical cost they must ensure that
each reproduction is as successful as possible by selecting a mate with good genes who can
provide for them and their offspring. In contrast, males produce large amounts of sperm at almost
no physical cost and therefore maximise their chances of passing on their genes through
promiscuity. The sexy sons hypothesis argues that females select males who posses characteristics
which they would like their sons to inherit, in order that the sons are selected as mates by other
females, continuing the genetic line. The handicapping theory suggests that females seek males
with robust genes, demonstrated by the males ability to sustain characteristics that incur a
physiological cost, such as a peacock s elaborate tail.
Research evidence in support of the sociobiological theory includes Davis (1990) findings that men
advertising for a mate emphasise their wealth and other resources and women focus on their own
physical attractiveness. Cross cultural studies,

The Love Story Of Jack And Rose
The main fictional aspect of the film was the love story between Jack and Rose, two people who
never actually traveled on the Titanic, or even existed. James Cameron envisaged the entire concept
of this love story during pre production, and uses the idea to manipulate the audience throughout the
entire film. Character development in the film was vital, as this led the audienceto care for what
actually happened to these people. The death of 1500 people was tragic, but without key characters
the audience feels no strong connection to what happens in the film. To make this connection even
more effective, he uses a flashbackand framing technique in the telling of the love story. He begins
the story in the presentday for the starting proportion of the film. He then uses a flashback
sequence to 1912 for the majority of the rest, and then cuts back to the present day for the
concluding part of the film. He also visits the present day a few times briefly during the main
chunk of the movie set in 1912, to make important links between the two different aged Roses .
The first 25 minutes of the film are shot entirely in the present day. The old Rose is shown as a

different things that help out our society, many other countries have been struggling to keep up.
America has made many educational, artistic, economic, political, medical, social, humanitarian,
and technological advancements in the past decade. In America, social media is becoming the new
way of sharing one s art with other people through a digital outreach on platforms... Show more

The first lady, Michelle Obama is one of the leaders in fight for healthier eating, which is helping
to bring even more attention to the cause. The Obama Administration is working hard to
empower the American public to make smart choices every day at school, at home and in their
communities (USDA). American people are starting to care about where their food comes from
as well, which is helping many make the switch to veganism, vegetarianism, and many
alternative diets which is helping people eat healthier and rely more on what grows naturally.
People are beginning to take the initiative to clean up the world around by creating more clean a
highway programs, and volunteer cleanups which are helping get more active and be more social
with those around them. People are noticing that suicide, depression, mental illness, and food
issues are a thing to be worried about and are taking action with ways to care about one another.
They are trying to help people who are in these situations with walks, events, and just letting those
people know that there is someone there who cares about them. Food, the world, and other people
s issues used to something people thought were not that important and were brushed under the rug
so to say, but now people are realizing what a big deal they all

The Crop Of Crop Rotation
Crop rotation is a systematic approach to choosing which crop to plant where in your vegetable
garden from one year to the next. The goals of crop rotation are to help manage soil fertility and to
help reduce conflicts with soilborne diseases and soil dwelling insects like corn. This process then
changes the different types of nutrients in the soilhelping the soil to have more nutrients and the
cropsto be better at resisting diseases and pests. One of the methods that was used with this
appropriate farmer was fertilizer. Fertilizers were first used by farmers in the Middle Easter and
European countries approximately eight thousand years ago. Biology of the plant: Another method
used was cover crops. One of the cover crops that were used... Show more content on

It can also be used for other plants for something to climb on in case other plants need support to
grow on. This process is useful because with this method saves sustainability to other plants as
irreconcilable to trying to buy products to do the same thing. Best results for the plant to be
progressing is to be watched by farmers. This ensures the best crops to mature and grow. One of
the organic fertilizers the farmer uses is milorganite. Milorganite is one of the oldest branded
fertilizers on the market today. It is composed of heat dried microbes that have digested the organic
matter in wastewater. Milorganite is manufactured by the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage
District. This fertilizer is slow burned and is full of nitrogen. Being at the farm is not a lot of
research on milorganite from sources outside the company. This process may be better left naturally
because the process still requires man made input and output. This uses viable resources. There is
an article that I found interesting and has more background about milorganite named Promoting
Forest Recovery on a Surface Mine Site With Nutritional Amendments. Two conventional fertilizers
with the former featuring urea as the predominant N source while that for the latter was exclusively
ammoniacal and nitrate forms; and Milorganite 6 2 0 + Iron, an organic amendment derived from
municipal biosolids. (Walker, Roger F. 2012). There is another article called Nutritional

Who Is The Ford Mustang Commercial
Because of my love for the Ford Mustang, I chose a Ford Mustang commercial for this assignment.
The commercials premise is unsuspecting men meet a beautiful woman in a coffee shop for a blind
date, the woman purposely projects a non adventurous persona. At the conclusion of the coffee date,
the woman offers to give them a ride home in her Ford Mustang. Initially during the drive home the
womanpretends she is not familiar with drivingthe car, most of the men offer her instructions and
one suggests that she let him drive to show her what the car can really do. Shortly into the drive
home, she pulls into an empty parking lot and really pushes the car to the limits. She performs a
multitude of highly skilled maneuvers, burnouts, high speed stopping, drifting, etc. What all of
these men did not know is this woman is actually a professional stunt driver and is more than
capable of driving this powerful vehicle. The men s reactions were hilarious. Most of them
seemed to enjoy the adrenaline fueled ride, while others looked horrified sitting in the passenger
seat. Being a bit of an adrenaline junky myself, I really enjoyed this advertisement. I could feel my
adrenaline rising as she was performing all those high speed maneuvers. The advertisement was
also very... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
While males are the intended audience, it also appeals to females. By using the female stunt
driver that illustrated just because she is a beautiful woman, does not mean she does not know
how to drive or that she needs a man to show her. By using comedy, the creators appeal to the
resistant and neutral audience. Even if the audience were not interested in the Ford Mustang, they
would watch this to see the men s reactions. The sympathetic audience appeal was easy to obtain
by the creators. Besides the comedic values, the adrenaline charged ride and the car itself are
enough to win the

Summary And Background Of Stryker Corporation
Summary and Background Currently, Stryker Corporation is in a law suit centered on patent
infringement with their competitor, Zimmer Corporation. The case which will be analyzed and
explored is currently pending hearing by the Supreme Court. The current questions that the
petitioners, Stryker, are asking of the Supreme Court are as follows: 1. Has the Federal Circuit
improperly abrogated the plain meaning of 35 U.S.C. В§ 284 by forbidding any award of
enhanced damages unless there is a finding of willfulness under a rigid, two part test, when this
Court recently rejected an analogous framework imposed on 35 U.S.C. В§ 285, the statute
providing for attorneys fee awards in exceptional cases? 2. Does a district court have discretion
under 35 U.S.C. В§ 284 to award enhanced damages where an infringer intentionally copied a
direct competitor s patented invention, knew the invention was covered by multiple patents, and
made no attempt to avoid infringing the patents on that invention? (SCOTUS Blog, 2015) Stryker
is petitioning the Supreme Court to explore these questions, because prior to Supreme Court
filing, there had been a series of lawsuits and appeals between the plaintiff, Stryker, and
defendants, Zimmer. The preliminary suit was focused on infringement of pulse lavage medical
devices. Stryker and Zimmer are the two main developers and manufacturers of this medical
device noted in the suit. Medical pulse lavage systems are complicated devices which are used by a

Learning Theories, Behaviorism, Constructivism,...
The point of this paper is to detail the three commonly used learning theories (Behaviorism,
Cognitivism and Constructivism) on online courses. The description of the implication of these
learning theories can add to the procedure of learning for the learner. Online learning has developed
quickly in the previous couple of years in schools obliging educators to learn compelling approaches
to fabricate online groups of learners. There are obstructions to avoid and key segments to
incorporate, while making online learning environments. In this paper, these three speculations are
depicted to put it plainly, and suggestions for acknowledging online courses are determined
Keywords: Learning theories, Behaviorism, Constructivism, Cognitivism and e Learning.

Regulation Fair Disclosure
Summary In this research paper the authors want to express their thoughts by stating that how to
them earnings reporting pertains to the discovery of information that has not been disclosed by
either people or other types of sources and focus towards the negative in this study. In my opinion,
the title of the paper itself could have had a different title only because throughout the paper it
analyzes negative or bad news rather than really paying attention to both perspectives. Also the
paper captures the information or news that occurs by using a three day window in which Quarterly
Earnings Announcement (QEA) take place and compares it to a period where it does not take
place. Furthermore, in this paper there are three hypotheses that arise... Show more content on

My recommendation would be to sample years that are passed 2002 and on to get a more
accurate result for the study. I felt like there was so much going on with testing before and after
the events took into effect. Even though it was a good size of sample and enough quarters from
where to gather information from the time frame plays an important role. The Regulation Fair
Disclosure that took place in October 23, 2000 made a great impact towards the way
information was not allowed to be disclosed. I feel that it took an effect on the results since the
information was gathered that year and was dealing with information asymmetry. In Li, Ha and
Nabar (2014) they conclude that there is a difference that exists between pre and post regulation
fair disclosure. The authors mention how the stock prices after the fact were more precise in
relation to stock splits than before regulation fair disclosure took place. Also, with Sarbanes Oxley
Act taking effect in 2002 could also have more managers disclosing information more voluntarily
than before it took effect. In Aftermath (2015) he states that SOX arose because of the number of
scandals that had taken place. So, with this said it shows how the disclosing of information is
important and now that it is implemented will help in lowering the risk of having unreliable
information. On another note as for the equations that were used throughout the paper I find them
quite interesting and understandable. As well as the variables that were used in the tables are
clearly defined and the tables do provide evidence to sustain their

  • 3. Into The Revolutionary War Analysis This week s readings begin to stray away from the Seven Years War and into the Revolutionary War. The Revolutionary War occurred because the Americans colonist wanted to be free from Great Britain s control. King George III would go above the legislative of the colonies and force orders without consent. So many felt that the only way to obtain freedom from Great Britain and control their own government is they must fight for it. Patrick Henry states, The war is inevitable and let it come! I repeat it, sir, let it come (Henry 44). There was no way to avoid going to war, rather it was the only solution that would lead to the colonies freedom. • 6. Effects Of Advertising In Advertising The Brain on Ads We see advertisements every day. They are everywhere. Advertisements like to tell consumers what to get and which is the best, saying that with this product it you will be happy and satisfied. Consumers probably believe that they have their own preferences, but, what they believe is them choosing what to buy and have, advertisements are subconsciously swaying them one way or another. Big advertising companies makes people believe that one drink differs from the other or that one burger is better than the competitor. According to The Brain: Marketing to your mind by Alice park. Alice brings up very good claims on how advertising effects our brains; claiming that advertisements tap into our emotions to sell and claims that these advertisements even trick many into that a brand image correlates to satisfaction eventually creating brand loyalty just from seeing commercials. Alice Park shows us in her article that big advertisement companies pull in many people with their appeal of the item from the colors on the screen to the display of how the product is placed all to make their brand the best and persuade us into buying it. Advertisements put all these effects in motion to get to the one main thing, your perceptions. Perceptions play a large roll in these advertisements. • 7. Buddhism And Its Impact On Buddhism On one hand, Buddhism was founded in northeastern India from the teachings and doctrines taught in the VI and V centuries BC by Siddhartha Gautama, better known as Buddha or the Enlightened One. Although originally emerged as a monastic movement within the dominant Brahmin tradition at that time, Buddhism developed quickly in another direction and acquired characteristics. Buddha not only rejected some important aspects of the philosophy of Hinduism, but also challenged the authority of their leaders, did not accept the validity of Vedic scriptures and argued against the sacrificial cult based on these texts. Moreover, Buddha opened his movement to people of all castes, openly rejecting the idea that the spiritual affairs of the people were determined by the social class into which they are born. Buddhism is one of the major world religions in terms of adherents, geographical distribution, and social and cultural influence. Its founder, Siddhartha Gautama believed in karma (cause and effect ethics), Maya (the illusory nature of the world), and Samsara (the cycle of reincarnation) among other things. Buddhists believe that the ultimate goal in life is to achieve enlightenment as they perceive their existence. So Buddhism seeks liberation from suffering, the goal is Nirvana. Once reached, suffering ceases to affect the practitioner. • 9. Bach, Johann Sebastian Bach And Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Jonathan Hugendubler Fugue Bach Shostakovich 10/10/2017 Comparative Fugal Analysis The fugue is often regarded as a genre defined by strict procedural guidelines. It is notable that three historically important composers, Johann Sebastian Bach (1685 1750), Georg Friedrich Handel (1685 1759), and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart(1756 1791), all employed a closely related fugue subject in three different works. An analysis of each of these works individually, and a comparison of these works collectively reveal numerous latent and salient features, and a reflection of the composers style within these works. Analyses also provide an outlook into the fluidity in certain aspects and rigidity in others of the form itself, reflected historically. The three composers analyzed fall closely together in history. J.S. Bach and G.F. Handel were contemporaries, whereas Mozart was born six years after Bach s death and three years before Handel s death. Analytically, the angularity of these similar fugue subjects presupposes a treatment regardless of the composer. Because of the shared intervallic content among the subjects of these fugues, despite being written by several different composers, a surprising number of similarities arise. Therefore, it is reasonable to assert that compositional choices made in the construction of the fugue subjects limit the number of results possible. This analysis will use the A minor fugue from of J.S. Bach s The Well Tempered Clavier, Book 2 G.F. Handel s And ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

As this case just mentioned the site soil classification of this reclaimed land is H1 but not mention the soil type. If it s sandy area, removal trees might cause less damage to the soil because sand does not swell or shrink with changes in moisture (Victorian building authority, 2015). However, if these trees are used to take more moisture from the underground water system in clay soil land, the tree removal land will become more wet or dry due to the different surrounding agricultural situation. For example, if there are heavy rainy after the tree removal and there are no other trees or shrubs around the site, too much accumulated water will stay on the hole and change the clay soils to be more reactive. On the other hand, if there are other big trees and shrubs around the site, the extra moisture will be absorbed by these trees and the site soil is going to be dry. • 17. Pleasant Ambient Odor Effect of Pleasant Ambient Odor on Semantic Memory Memory is a topic that has fascinated scientists throughout time. How it works, how it is influenced, and how it can be improved are just a few of the many questions that have captured the attention of researchers around the world. One notable area that has gained attention in the last few decades is the Proust phenomenon, which is how odors can be especially powerful reminders of autobiographical experience (Chu Downes, 2000). This proposal will be structured to explore if this phenomenon extends from autobiographical memory to semantic memory. The Proust phenomenon has been explored and supported by several researchers. For instance, Chu and Downes (2002) found that odors are indeed especially potent as retrieval cues, to the extent that they automatically induce the retrieval of unrelated and irrelevant detail in the incongruent odor condition (p. 6). • 18. Cause And Effect Of Hearing Loss The biggest handicap in the world is negative thinking and that people handicap themselves by concentrating only on the negative instead of the positive, said Heather Whitestone (Premiere SPeakers Bureau). Even though Heather Whitestone was deaf, she showed the world that she was going to have to work hard to achieve success. Many people in the world are affected by hearing loss. About two million people in the United States are completely deaf, while eighteen to twenty one people need hearing impairments (Mango 21). Symptoms of hearing loss may include difficulty understanding words or phrases. Needing to turn the volume up, avoiding social situations, and trouble hearing consonants are also signs of hearing loss (Mayo Clinic Staff). There are many types of hearing loss that can be gained. Congenital deafness is when someone is born being deaf. Three out of every one thousand infants in the United States are born with congenital deafness (Sheen 16). Another type of hearing loss is the conductive deafness. In this case, the outer and middle ears, which send sound waves to the inner ear, are having the hearing problems (11). Lastly, sensorineural hearing lossis when there is damage in the inner ear. The inner ear s job is to convert sound waves to electrical or neutral impulses, so then it can be carried to the brain and be translated (15). Causes of hearing loss include environmental and natural causes. A premature baby is at a higher risk of being deaf (18). Ear ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The Importance Of Use Notwithstanding its prominence in the literature, a major shortcoming of the TAM method is its utilitarian focus on cognition and intentionality, rather than affect and emotions. While this may be useful for explaining SNS account creation, it is insufficient for explaining continuous SNS use and engagement. Furthermore, the framework assumes that all users have the same preferences for the same technical factors, such as usability. This view completely neglects that users may adapt SNSs for their own idiosyncratic purposes that may defy the original intentions of designers. As a case in point, Lu and Lin (2011) demonstrate that perceived enjoyment is a significant predictor of continued SNS use even more so than other design based... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Other scholars have continued to criticise the over reliance on Facebook in this field of research. Stoycheff and colleagues (2017, p.9) point out that 559 (84.3%) of the reviewed publications were single medium studies that examined one SNS in isolation. This represents a burgeoning literature on the effects of Facebook use, but we oftentimes forget to ask, why we are studying Facebook in the first place despite the wealth of alternative platforms. Single platform often studies run the risk of potentially omitting important distinctions between different SNSs in terms of their social affordances, audiences and uses. Furthermore, focusing on one particular SNS paints only a partial picture of how people use and are affected by social media (Kim 2014, p.2). This may limit the generalisability of studies due implicit biases towards particular user groups, usage patterns, platform policies and social affordances. Examining a social media platform in isolation, as opposed to being part of a larger social media environment, may thus inadvertently inhibit the reliability, generalisability and interpretation of results. There has been a lot of change in religious adherence since the end of the Second World War. At the end of the war many Australians still had British ancestors and so most people were Christian. With immigrants arriving in Australia after the war we started to see new religions grow. Orthodox Christians came from places like Greece, for example. The Catholics have continued to grow in numbers while some other Christian faiths have decreased in size. There used to be a time when most people stuck with the religion that their parents followed. These days more people are choosing denominational switching. This means that many people are no longer making life long commitments to one church in particular. They are more likely to go wherever they feel comfortable and look for a church that suits their needs.New age religions were among the fastest growing faiths in the 2001 census, increasing by 140 percent in the five years since 1996. New age religions differ from other faiths in that, while together they form an overall spiritual movement, they nonetheless lack any singles unifying creed or doctrine. Adherents do tend to share some similar beliefs and practices, which are often grafted onto other, more formalised religious beliefs. Another reason for denominational switching is that some parents separate or get divorced. Surveys have shown that children from families that have broken up are more likely to stop following the family religion. A study of people in Catholic and Protestant churches found the following pattern: If a family was broken up because of divorce, Catholics were 1.7 times more likely to switch to a moderate protestant church and 2.6 times more likely to switch to a conservative protestant church. However, the words and sentences that they mentioned in the CSM can categorize as a middle range theory. The CSM was proposed to provide the framework for depicting the self regulation when individuals have to encounter stress caused by an illness and understanding the processes involved in problem coping. Leventhal et al. described that the CSM consists of three core concepts: representation of illness, coping, and coping appraisal. The relationship between the concepts was presented in the parallel processing system that interact as the individual adapts to each specific situation. These processes lead individuals to seek health care for acute illnesses and manage their illness for chronic conditions. The Importance of Biological Factors in the Development of Gender Identity The biosocial theory suggests that gender identity develops as a result of the obvious biological differences between boys and girls and the hormonal differences between the sexes which can be observed in the foetus from about six weeks (Durkin, 1995). Supporting evidence has been found through animal studies, such as that by Young, Goy and Phoenix (1964) who gave testosterone to pregnant monkeys and found that any female offspring were prone to be unusually aggressive. Evidence is also found in case studies of humans. Imperato McGinley et al. (1974) studied a family in the Dominican Republic in which four children were born ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This demonstrates the part played by both hormonal and psychological factors, working against genetic factors , in the development of gender identity. The sociobiological theory argues that males and females look and behave differently because they are driven to behave in ways that maximise their chances to reproduce and pass on their genes. As females produce a limited supply of eggs at some physical cost they must ensure that each reproduction is as successful as possible by selecting a mate with good genes who can provide for them and their offspring. In contrast, males produce large amounts of sperm at almost no physical cost and therefore maximise their chances of passing on their genes through promiscuity. The sexy sons hypothesis argues that females select males who posses characteristics which they would like their sons to inherit, in order that the sons are selected as mates by other females, continuing the genetic line. The handicapping theory suggests that females seek males with robust genes, demonstrated by the males ability to sustain characteristics that incur a physiological cost, such as a peacock s elaborate tail. • 43. The Crop Of Crop Rotation Crop rotation is a systematic approach to choosing which crop to plant where in your vegetable garden from one year to the next. The goals of crop rotation are to help manage soil fertility and to help reduce conflicts with soilborne diseases and soil dwelling insects like corn. This process then changes the different types of nutrients in the soilhelping the soil to have more nutrients and the cropsto be better at resisting diseases and pests. One of the methods that was used with this appropriate farmer was fertilizer. Fertilizers were first used by farmers in the Middle Easter and European countries approximately eight thousand years ago. Biology of the plant: Another method used was cover crops. This process is useful because with this method saves sustainability to other plants as irreconcilable to trying to buy products to do the same thing. Best results for the plant to be progressing is to be watched by farmers. This ensures the best crops to mature and grow. One of the organic fertilizers the farmer uses is milorganite. Milorganite is one of the oldest branded fertilizers on the market today. It is composed of heat dried microbes that have digested the organic matter in wastewater. Milorganite is manufactured by the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District. This fertilizer is slow burned and is full of nitrogen. Being at the farm is not a lot of research on milorganite from sources outside the company. This process may be better left naturally because the process still requires man made input and output. This uses viable resources. There is an article that I found interesting and has more background about milorganite named Promoting Forest Recovery on a Surface Mine Site With Nutritional Amendments. Two conventional fertilizers with the former featuring urea as the predominant N source while that for the latter was exclusively ammoniacal and nitrate forms; and Milorganite 6 2 0 + Iron, an organic amendment derived from municipal biosolids. • 44. Who Is The Ford Mustang Commercial Because of my love for the Ford Mustang, I chose a Ford Mustang commercial for this assignment. The commercials premise is unsuspecting men meet a beautiful woman in a coffee shop for a blind date, the woman purposely projects a non adventurous persona. At the conclusion of the coffee date, the woman offers to give them a ride home in her Ford Mustang. Initially during the drive home the womanpretends she is not familiar with drivingthe car, most of the men offer her instructions and one suggests that she let him drive to show her what the car can really do. Shortly into the drive home, she pulls into an empty parking lot and really pushes the car to the limits. She performs a multitude of highly skilled maneuvers, burnouts, high speed stopping, drifting, etc. What all of these men did not know is this woman is actually a professional stunt driver and is more than capable of driving this powerful vehicle. The men s reactions were hilarious. Most of them seemed to enjoy the adrenaline fueled ride, while others looked horrified sitting in the passenger seat. Being a bit of an adrenaline junky myself, I really enjoyed this advertisement. I could feel my adrenaline rising as she was performing all those high speed maneuvers. The advertisement was also very... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... While males are the intended audience, it also appeals to females. By using the female stunt driver that illustrated just because she is a beautiful woman, does not mean she does not know how to drive or that she needs a man to show her. By using comedy, the creators appeal to the resistant and neutral audience. Even if the audience were not interested in the Ford Mustang, they would watch this to see the men s reactions. The sympathetic audience appeal was easy to obtain by the creators. Besides the comedic values, the adrenaline charged ride and the car itself are enough to win the ... • 45. Summary And Background Of Stryker Corporation Summary and Background Currently, Stryker Corporation is in a law suit centered on patent infringement with their competitor, Zimmer Corporation. The case which will be analyzed and explored is currently pending hearing by the Supreme Court. The current questions that the petitioners, Stryker, are asking of the Supreme Court are as follows: 1. Has the Federal Circuit improperly abrogated the plain meaning of 35 U.S.C. В§ 284 by forbidding any award of enhanced damages unless there is a finding of willfulness under a rigid, two part test, when this Court recently rejected an analogous framework imposed on 35 U.S.C. В§ 285, the statute providing for attorneys fee awards in exceptional cases? 2. Does a district court have discretion under 35 U.S.C. В§ 284 to award enhanced damages where an infringer intentionally copied a direct competitor s patented invention, knew the invention was covered by multiple patents, and made no attempt to avoid infringing the patents on that invention? (SCOTUS Blog, 2015) Stryker is petitioning the Supreme Court to explore these questions, because prior to Supreme Court filing, there had been a series of lawsuits and appeals between the plaintiff, Stryker, and defendants, Zimmer. The preliminary suit was focused on infringement of pulse lavage medical devices. Stryker and Zimmer are the two main developers and manufacturers of this medical device noted in the suit. Medical pulse lavage systems are complicated devices which are used by a surgeon ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 47. Regulation Fair Disclosure Summary In this research paper the authors want to express their thoughts by stating that how to them earnings reporting pertains to the discovery of information that has not been disclosed by either people or other types of sources and focus towards the negative in this study. In my opinion, the title of the paper itself could have had a different title only because throughout the paper it analyzes negative or bad news rather than really paying attention to both perspectives. Also the paper captures the information or news that occurs by using a three day window in which Quarterly Earnings Announcement (QEA) take place and compares it to a period where it does not take place. Furthermore, in this paper there are three hypotheses that arise... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... My recommendation would be to sample years that are passed 2002 and on to get a more accurate result for the study. I felt like there was so much going on with testing before and after the events took into effect. Even though it was a good size of sample and enough quarters from where to gather information from the time frame plays an important role. The Regulation Fair Disclosure that took place in October 23, 2000 made a great impact towards the way information was not allowed to be disclosed. I feel that it took an effect on the results since the information was gathered that year and was dealing with information asymmetry. In Li, Ha and Nabar (2014) they conclude that there is a difference that exists between pre and post regulation fair disclosure. The authors mention how the stock prices after the fact were more precise in relation to stock splits than before regulation fair disclosure took place. Also, with Sarbanes Oxley Act taking effect in 2002 could also have more managers disclosing information more voluntarily than before it took effect. In Aftermath (2015) he states that SOX arose because of the number of scandals that had taken place. So, with this said it shows how the disclosing of information is important and now that it is implemented will help in lowering the risk of having unreliable information. On another note as for the equations that were used throughout the paper I find them quite interesting and understandable. As well as the variables that were used in the tables are clearly defined and the tables do provide evidence to sustain their ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
