Bees is, by all accounts, still driven by its founding mission: to create natural, Earth friendly personal
care products formulated to help you maximize your well being and that of the world around you.
Only now, thanks to deep pockets and Clorox s distribution machine, it might push the industry
towards all natural even faster.
Brand identity is an important action to branding. It is what the consumers are expected to perceive a
company s product and its brand. With Brand identity, Burt s Bees could distinguish it from other
competitors, and highlight its brand and products characteristic to create and maintain the competitive
advantage.
IV. Recommendation
Burt s Bees is in the growth stage. Together with the market s strong interest in environmental
awareness today, Burt s Bees has a great potential however, it must be accompanied by great
advertisements and not just through social media.
I recommend on a rebranding strategy to increase and strengthen the brand with the long term aim of
expanding the brand within the mass market. I believe that the number one issue for Burt s Bees is to
grow the brand without compromising the product i.e. ingredients. Burt Bee s can still use the concept

This paper will focus on the viewpoints of two influential nursing theorists, whom have helped to
provide nurses and the public with insight on their understandings of each of the four concepts that
make up the nursing metaparadigm. Through the exploration of both Roy s holistic approach to
nursing and Leininger s cultural approach to nursing, I will be able to conclude my findings and
produce a philosophy of nursing that is unique to my own ideas, values, and beliefs of what the

The idea of nursing for Roy is to promote adaptation for individuals and groups in the four adaptive
modes, thus contributing to health, quality of life and dying with dignity by assessing behaviour and
factors that influence adaptive abilities and to enhance environmental interactions (Roy, 2009, p 12).
Leininger exclaims that the purpose of nursing is to focus on human care phenomena and activities in
order to assist, support, facilitate, or enable individuals and groups to maintain, or regain, their well
being by using cultural care preservation and maintenance, accommodation and negotiation, and re
patterning or reconstruction (Roy, 2009, p. 12). I feel as though both theorists have made important
points in their idea of what nursing means. Roy seems to mostly focus on the aspect of helping the
patient or client to adapt to their conditions and environment in a positive manner; by doing so this
provides the client with a more desirable quality of living. An important thing to note is the fact that
Roy also recognized the idea of death and allowing the patient to die with a feeling of self worth and
respect which could play into her four modes. Where as, Leininger focused mainly on aiding people in

The X-Men Franchise
My yet to be documented feelings of the X Men franchise can best be described as mixed. I am not as
huge of a fan of the original trilogy as most people, and I actually prefer X Men Origins: Wolverine to
any of those films. I do, however, very much like this newest trilogy, of which Apocalypse is the
closing entry. (Alas, I haven t seen Deadpool ). That mixed feeling on the entire series applies to this
installment, as well, although I am leaning positive on this one. X Men Apocalypse is set 10 years
after the events of Days of Future Past (although only two years have passed in reality).
Raven/Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) has become a cult figure adored by mutants, although she has
gone off the radar. Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) has devoted his time to his students at his school
for gifted youngsters. Erik Lensherr/Magneto (Michael Fassbender) has reinvented himself, becoming
a simple industrial worker in Poland. Of course, all that changes when the titular villain (Oscar Isaac),
the original mutant who also possess godlike abilities, awakens from a millennia long slumber. The X

McAvoy is still a natural Xavier who has charisma and humor, but also conveys the moral might of the
character. Filmspotting Madness Chmpaion Michael Fassbender is once again fantastic as Magneto.
He s an absolute force of nature that exudes confidence, but he also delivers in his emotional
moments. Lawrence is merely fine as Mystique. She is definitely phoning this one in, but even when
she does that she is decent. Nicholas Hoult as Hank McCoy/Beast is good again, with earnestness and
