Sciatic Nerve Lab Report
In FSNB group sciatic nerve is blocked first. The operator stand on the side that is to be blocked,
facing the patient with the ultrasound machine across the other side of the patient. The patient was put
in the supine position, the hip was abducted, externally rotated, and the knee flexed then exposure of
the calf and foot. With the patient in the proper position for blocking sciatic nerve by anterior
approach, the doppler curved probe (SonoScape®, SSI 6000, China) was placed 10 cm distal to the
inguinal crease so as to identify the sciatic nerve. After standard skin preparation, subcutaneous
anesthesia was done at the puncture site with lidocaine 1% 1 ml. A 22 gauge, 150 mm insulated b
bevel needle (Stimuplex; B Braun, Boulogne Billancourt, France) connected to the nerve stimulator
was inserted and directed posteriorly and laterally with a 10° 15° angle relative to the vertical plane.
At a depth of 5 cm, the nerve stimulator was set to deliver a current of 5.0 mA. Within a depth of 10
15 cm, the sciatic nerve was identified via stimulation and muscular responses of one of its two
components: plantar flexion or inversion of the foot for the tibial nerve (TN) and dorsiflexion or
eversion of the foot for the common peroneal nerve (CPN).If no muscular response was obtained at a
depth of 15 cm or if the needle ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
At that time, the stimulator was switched off. After a negative aspiration test, 20 ml of bupivacaine

Bose s Competitors
When building a home entertainment system, a good sound setup is absolutely essential. Although
there are many easy set up kits available, Bose is the brand to turn to for trusted quality when it comes
to speakers. With a pair of Bose Interaudio 4000 speakers, your home system is taken to the next level.
Make sure to place the speakers at a location a few feet away from the wall to get the best possible
effect. This will emulate theater systems as closely as possible. Use a Bose Interaudio 4000 speaker in
conjunction with a high quality Bose subwoofer to create a true surround sound experience. Movies
and music sound better than ever in your home entertainment room.
Bose Interaudio 4000 speakers are not typical of the brand. These are a standard pair of 2 way
speakers. Each speaker has e maximum of 100 watts and 75 watts continuous. The cabinets have a
black vinyl veneer and are ported with 2 ports in each one. The highs ... Show more content on

This helped Bose attract more dealers for their products. The end consumer of the product benefit by
getting a decent speaker at an affordable price. However, because these were private label models,
they were never advertised. You also cannot find product reviews for these speakers and Bose releases
no specs for their products generally, other than power rating. Thus, it is difficult to find any
information about this line.
However, they ve remained a solid, reliable part of many home theater systems. Typically people also
add center, surrounds, and subs to fill it out. These speakers were made in USA, something that is no
longer commonplace. This makes them not only a solid addition to your home audio setup, but also an
interesting bit of vintage Americana.

My Reflection Of Psychology And Career Development
After having taken this psychology career development course (PSY 3024), I ve learned a lot about
not only different psychology options, but also a lot about myself. Having come into this course, I
really didn t know what I wanted to do. I really just declared psychology as my major in the summer
before this semester. So, definitely my career plans have changed after taking this course. Psychology
has many different subfields, ones I learned I had no idea about prior to taking this course. For
example, I learned about sports psychologists and how they assist athletes in different ways to
ultimately help them prevail. I learned about forensic psychologists and how they work with the
judicial system and do many tasks, including helping ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

many years of hard work. He graduated with a BS in Psychology and hadn t planned on going to

facility where he was unhappy. He jumped from different jobs until he eventually went to graduate
school and got a MA and PsyD in Clinical Psychology. He didn t get board certified until 7 years later
when he ultimately started to work in neuro and became co owner of his own consultants practice. He
recommended to me that if I already know what I want, then to find a program in neuropsychology (R.

The goal itself is attainable, but it s important not to waste time fiddling with other jobs. In terms of

thousands of dollars in debt of student loans, then I really need to take a step back and consider what
life will really be like at that point. He explained how when he worked as a therapist for children who
had been abused, he was making around $50 55,000 a year, but now is earning more and is able to

The Common Fallacies Of Reasoning
Common Fallacies in Reasoning The practice of allowing citizens to vote for their leadership is
currently used in two thirds of the world s countries. As such, it is imperative to the basic freedoms of
the public that those citizens are properly educated on the matters they vote for. However, several
cases of voter s remorse , such as that over the American presidency of Donald Trump or Britain s
decision to leave the EU, imply that more work needs to be done in this regard. A good starting point
might be to raise awareness of logical fallacies, strategies that the media uses to sway opinion with
implication rather than fact. Several examples of these logical fallacies can be seen during the 2016
Presidential Election, leading up to the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
That s the Either/Or fallacy in action, where Trump is implying his policy to be a strictly win/lose
scenario, shutting down discussion of a potential compromise right then and there. That s not
supposed to be an admirable quality for the Presidency.
While this was going on, one would expect the Democratic candidate, Hillary Clinton, to be more well
recognized by voters. Unfortunately, her campaign was haunted by scandals from her previous role as
Secretary of State, such as storing classified information on a private email server, and leaving
potential deals with foreign countries undisclosed. When questioned about it at a Presidential Debate,
Clinton tried to dodge the subject altogether:
Wallace: Secretary Clinton, during your 2009 Senate confirmation hearing, you promised to avoid
even the appearance of a conflict of interest with your dealing with the Clinton Foundation while you
were secretary of state, but e mails show that donors got special access to you...Can you really say that
you kept your pledge to that Senate committee?
Clinton: Well, everything I did as secretary of state was in furtherance of our country s interests and
our values...But I am happy, in fact I m thrilled to talk about the Clinton Foundation, because it is a
world renowned charity and I am so proud of the work that it does. (Medium)

Frederick Douglass Slave Narrative
Frederick Douglas, born Frederick Augustus Washington Bailey, was born into slavery in the year
1818 on Maryland s Eastern Shore. He was separated from his mother at a really young age. He lived
as a slave for 20 years before he became a free man. Along the way, he managed to learn how to read
and write. In 1845, Douglas published his autobiography The Narrative of the Life of Frederick
Douglas, an American Slave. In the novel, he writes down everything he experienced from the time he
was a little baby to the time he became a free black man living in New Bedford, Massachusetts. The
genre of Douglas s autobiography is a slave narrative and as a slave narrative, this novel is great at

Definition Of The American Dream Essay
What is an American ? To me, an American means freedom. Freedom to choose and practice a religion
of your choice without persecution. Freedom of speech, press, and expression. An american is not only
someone who is free but is also strong. Americans have the freedom that most other countries do not
have. There are still some countries, that classes in power, still uses everything from force of religion,
to gender inequality, to oppress their people, and robb them from their right and liberation. These
countries, for example, do not allow their citizens the right to vote,or whip. lastly they rob them from
their right and liberation. I think America offers great opportunities (Jean, What is the american
dream?) This quote helps show that america s opportunities are more advanced than other countries.
freedom to pursue your dreams (Chris, what is the American dream?) This is another quote that helps
show that America is a land of freedom. When you live in America you have hope for what you wanna
be someday (Aidan, what is the American Dream?) This quote shows that when you live in America
you are able to pursue any dream with passion. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

The Looking Glass Self
The Looking Glass Self by Charles H. Cooley
I will be talking about the looking glass self, made famous by famed American sociologist Charles
Horton Cooley. This concept stems from our interpersonal perception of what another individual s
impression is on us and how we form ourselves towards that initial perception. Out of all the theories
that are at our disposal in sociology, this is the theory that interested me the most and here is why. To
me the looking glass self is not just a concept or a theory but is a vital step in socialization because it s
an interaction we all experience. To me it has aspects of issues we go through today, the big one being
conformity, because the looking glass self is simply a form of conformity. This is ... Show more

We develop that consciousness of socialization as we get more mature. I think about the age of six we
develop it the most. We are starting school and being exposed to kids our age and it puts a little
pressure on us to be who we need to be. So I feel that it favors kids older than five or six years of age.
To me it does not favor gender in any way. We may think that girls think about it more than guys but
really it probably equals itself out. Guys think about how others think just as much as girls.
We can then go into how the theory changes or how it has changed over time. I think that it really has
not changed much over time. We as humans have not really changed all that much as time has
progressed, but the world around us has. The one constant has been us humans and our human
processes. Now the future is a different story. I think that we as humans are at a point in history that
technology is what is driving the world. I feel that over the last 1000 years we haven t changed much
in a sociological way. But over the next 1000 years I feel sociologically we are going to be changing
quite a bit. The world is evolving at a rate that will exceed how we humans evolve. What others think
of us might not change much, but how we view ourselves is bound to have some changes.
The looking glass self theory is a very hard theory to go into detail on. It really has to do

Description Of Lewis And Clark Expedition
After acquiring the Louisiana Territory in 1803, the United States President Thomas Jefferson planned
for expeditions in the new land. The land bought was huge and unknown for the Americans. Soon
many Americans were going to live on this land so they had to know well the territory. For the
expedition, Thomas Jefferson asked two former soldiers, Meriwether Lewis and William Clark to
explore and map the west of North America. The president asked them to take notes of the soil, plants,
animals and American Indians tribes they would find during the trip. He also wanted them to look
after locations for trading posts and settlements.

Symbolism In The Kite Runner
A soaring kite, deep blue and barely distinguishable from the sky, danced at the mercy of the young
boy below holding its string in scarred, bloody hands. The juxtaposition between this jubilant activity
and the scars hidden in the palms of the participants accurately parallels the situation in Afghanistan.
To most Americans, talk of the war in Afghanistan is commonplace, just like kite flying. However,
comparable to the scars that each kite flyer holds within his hands, Afghanistan s true miseries are
hidden from the world, overlooked and a testament to the Western backed government s failure to
assert authority and curtail rogue strongmen (Rasmussen). Though the Western government sends
troops, the government of Afghanistan remains too feeble to rebuild and revert the country back to its
almost forgotten state of comfort and security. Recognizing the muted cry for help in war torn
Afghanistan, Khaled Hosseini develops kite flying as a major symbol throughout his book, The Kite
Runner, to further his point that Afghan society has the potential to change, and the choices we all
make now will decide its fate, for better or for worse.
From a cultural standpoint, kite running documents key elements of ingrained values and Afghan
custom. A testament to Persian and Islamic values, the story of Rustam and Suhrab in the Shah nama
conveys a culture of strong family values and obligations to maintain honor (Firdawsi). This culture
has been in practice since the 1000s when the

Helicopter Parenting Effect On Children
Many young parents have no idea how to raise their newborn child so they decide to shower it with
everything the child could ever need or want. The same goes for parents who have already had many
kids. They hover over their children like helicopters, this term is known as helicopter parenting.
Helicopter parenting is a method of hovering over one s child, in more or less words. It can come in
many different ways, some parents may just spoil their children, others want to befriend their own
offspring in better words. Helicopter parenting is detrimental to a child because it may shelter them,
cause kids to feel dependent on their parents all the way through adulthood, also on top of that, cause
early signs of depression and/or anxiety. Helicopter ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
And true, it does, but a child should not be only friends with their parents, a parent s job is to prepare
their child for the real world, not protect them from it their entire life. In a complete turnaround from
one of the points made, some adults believe monitoring one s child may make the child grow up
content. And again as stated before, the child may actually grow up content but severely
underdeveloped for the real world. Thirdly, giving one s child what they want keeps them quiet and
peaceful. Everyone has seen that small young kid that cries when their iphone is taken away, that kid
is the result of that kind of parenting. A child like that will have no idea how to earn what they want.
Sheltering children, over the top dependancy, and worse, signs and symptoms of depression/anxiety
can all be terrible outcomes of helicopter parenting. Everyone needs to know the harm of helicopter
parenting, whether they are a parent or not. A generation of strong, capable, young adults is a better
place to rest the fate of the world. Be careful to help not harm a child, should one be expecting a child
or already a parent, try at the very least to be aware of how a child grows up. (add one more

Was Roosevelt responsible for Pearl Harbour
Was President Franklin D Roosevelt responsible for the attack on Pearl Harbour?
On December 7, 1941 the infamous bombing of Pearl Harbour by the Japanese took place, but who
was really responsible? Many historians lay the blame with President Franklin D Roosevelt (FDR),
citing his approach to the war as antagonistic and inciting a Japanese attack. This report however will
highlight that the Japanese were the real antagonises, deliberately and purposely attacking the United
States (US), United Kingdom and Holland, and Pearl Harbour was but a pawn in their war plan, thus
alleviating FDR of the historical responsibility bequeathed to him over the last 70 years. The key

They had also issued radar equipment able to detect planes up to 100 miles away, in darkness, storm

idea the war had already begun and in 11 days time America would be on the forefront of a Japanese
attack.
The notice for an attack would come via an intercepted transmission on December 6 to the Japanese
Ambassador detailing a secretive 14 part message due to be transmitted and when advised, given to
the American authorities. 13 parts were received and deciphered before midnight on December 6.
Those 13 parts contained a history from Japan s perspective on what had happened in the war thus far
and how they felt about it. Part 14, the most important part, was received by the decoders at 4am on
December 7. By 10am they had deciphered and sent it to President Roosevelt. At 10.30am an addition

The Pros and Cons of Ritalin

Ritalin, which controlled his outbursts. It was like Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde, Cathy said. Jason
flourished for the next six years, even winning his fifth grade citizenship award. In sixth grade,
however, his medication stopped working, and he became aggressive again. But Jason s teachers did

There must also be clear evidence of clinically significant impairment in social, academic or
occupational functioning. Physicians did not begin to link childhood attention and behavior problems
to biological causes until the turn of the century. In several lectures to the Royal College of Physicians
in England in 1902, British physician George Frederic Still described twenty pediatric patients who
were aggressive, defiant, excessively emotional or passionate, lawless, spiteful, cruel, dishonest and
who displayed little inhibitory volition. He theorized that they probably had a basic defect in moral
control that was either hereditary or due to pre or post birth injury, (Hartman, 42). A lot has happened
since then though. Between the years of 1940 and 1960, many psychiatrists began using drugs to treat
mental illness. Ritalin was first used to treat hyperactivity in 1961, and in 1968 the American
Psychiatric Association (APA) first listed hyperkinetic reaction of childhood as a disorder in the
second edition of its Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM II). In the 1970s, research focused more
on attention deficits as causing behavior problems, but some members of Congress began questioning
whether scientists were trying to medicate away energetic childhood behavior. On September 29,
1970, a House Government Operations subcommittee held a hearing on the federal government s role

Coding Theory Case Study
What is Coding Theory? Coding theory is the study of the properties of codes and their fitness for a
specific application. Codes are used for data compression, cryptography, error correction and more
recently also for network coding. Codes are studied by various scientific disciplines such as
information theory, electrical engineering, mathematics, and computer science for the purpose of
designing efficient and reliable data transmission methods. This typically involves the removal of
redundancy and the correction (or detection) of errors in the transmitted data. (Coding Theory, 2010)
There are many aspects that go into the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
If the original message were 1001, we would encode that as 10010, since the original message already
had n even number of 1 s. When someone receives the message 10101, since there are an odd number
of 1 s, we know that an error occurred during transmission. We do not know how many there were or
which digit(s) were effected and the parity check does locate them for correction.
Once the errors are located an error correcting code can begin. An ECC is an algorithm for expressing
a sequence of numbers such that any errors which are introduced can be detected and corrected
(within certain limitations) based on remaining numbers. (Weisstein, 2014) The study of error
correcting codes and the associated mathematics is known as coding theory. Detecting the errors
within codes is much easier than actually fixing the errors. The major difference between a parity
check is that with error correction, errors are detected and corrected right then, not just detected. Error
correction may generally be realized in two different ways: Automatic repeat request (ARQ). This is
an error control technique whereby an error detection scheme is combined with requests for
retransmission of erroneous data. Every block of data received is checked using the error detection
code used, and if the check fails, retransmission of the data is requested this may be done repeatedly,
until the data can be verified. The other is forward error correction (FEC). Here the sender encodes the
data using an

Chapter 1: On Washing Hands
Mr. Gawande starts his literature on washing hands. He introduces two friends a microbiologist and an
infectious disease specialist. Both work hard and diligently against the spread of diseases just like
Semmelweis who is mentioned in the chapter. Something I learned, that not many realize, is that each
year two million people acquire an infection while they are in the hospital. Mainly because the
clinicians only wash their hands one third to one half as many times as they should. Semmelweis,
mentioned earlier, concluded in 1847 that doctors themselves were to blame for childbed fever, which
was the leading cause of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
By analyzing the patterns of injuries and treatment, other basic life saving measures were
implemented. For example, soldiers coming into treatment were found to be without their Kevlar.
When asked why? They would complain about the weight, the heat, and the discomfort. Orders were
issued that Kevlar was to be taken seriously and the injuries became less frequent. Gawande s point is
that reporting is vital to diligence just as it was for the WHO supervisor fighting malaria; these doctors
recorded the details and results of each case. They understand, as Gawande writes, that vigilance over
the details of their own performance offered the only chance to do better.
Chapter 4: Naked
The chapter is titled Naked and concerns the exam room etiquette that doctors and patients expect
from one another and often uncomfortably tiptoe around. There is an allusion to a movie that has the
female patient separated by a dark blanket like screen from the doctor. The doctor s son who is about
six years old is the communicator. Even though they are clearly audible to each other they wait until
the boy speaks to them. This is the matter of decency. According to this literature some doctors feel
uncomfortable with the whole process. There is really no

organizations whose members engage in criminal activities such as violent crime, weapons trafficking,

The Twin Themes Of Guanxi Culture In Chinese Society
The unique guanxi culture in Chinese society sets its societal framework distinctively apart from the
West. Although guanxi is often portrayed as one s social network, it is much different from the so
called connections in Western society. Guanxi is a special social phenomenon in the Chinese societal
context. It has survived throughout history and continues to be a prevalent trend because it has its
Chinese characteristics and attributes that are not found in other societies. The existence of guanxi in
Chinese society originated from the core Chinese value of collectivism. Since centuries ago, Chinese
society s group life and social organization has been based on collective interests. Familial sentiments
and obligations, [which were regarded as ethical relations], extended from the family into society
[later on] . The unofficial, informal networks of familial and kinship obligations provided the social
support mechanisms through which peasant families survived in the economy of transition and
hardships (Bian, 2001, p.276). The twin themes of guanxi and the sense of hierarchy mutually enhance
each other because private networks thrive through the existence of the principle of giving and
reciprocating, which highlights that there is a dependent on a more resourceful party in the
relationship. The future of the twin themes in China will continue to be built upon mutual reliance and
the looked upon generous favour giver in bridging the connections between multiple parties.

The Availability Of New Information Management And...
The availability of new information management and supporting system like Data Warehousing,
Business Intelligence, Analytics, and/or Big Data has produced a remarkable moment in the history of
data analysis. Researching on this topic is very interesting for me. Thank Professor Kraft that gives me
opportunity to explore more on these topics. Taking this opportunity, I would like to provide a brief
summary of the book that discuss about the Profitable Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence and
Analytics. The book published by Technics Publications in July 1, 2012. I also would like to thank
David Haertzen who is an author of the book.
In the book, the author has discussed many interesting points but the three main points that I learn and

improved business performance. Decisions based on Business Intelligence and Analytics can impact
the bottom line by reducing cost and increasing revenues.
According to Haertzen (2012), Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW) is a process for collecting,
storing, and delivering decision support data for an entire enterprise or business unit . A data
warehouse is not operational data. It contains a copy of operational and other data, rather than being a
source of original data. This data is often obtained from multiple data sources and is useful for
strategic decision making. Its purpose is not just to maintain historical data. A data warehouse contains
specific data that has been gathered for analytics and reporting. Enterprise Data Warehousing includes
people, processes, and technologies to achieve the goal of providing decision support. The Data
Warehouse contains intelligent data collections which are modeled to support the reporting and
analysis needs of the Decision Support function of the organization. So, the main key goals of data
warehouse are: Make fact based decisions, Make timely decisions, Make profitable decisions that
reduce costs and increase revenue. These decisions can support a number of stakeholders include:

The 60 s Research Paper
The 1960 s was the period that saw the greatest revolution in popular music. It was due to many
features, such as the change in social structures, cultural shifts, and new technologies. The music was
novelty, powerful, and relayed a message to those who listened. Rock music seemed to embody the
change that the young generation wanted to see in the world after their parents generation destroyed it.
Many of the artists, such as the Beatles and Bob Dylan, remain major influences to musicians to this
day, and their music still remains very popular. The music in the 60 s was egalitarian, promoting
equality; eclectic, deriving influences from many different styles; and real, relating music to the world.

The Beatles especially seemed to have songs influenced by LSD, such as Lucy in the Sky with

genre, with many artists of many backgrounds gaining popularity. Women like Janis Joplin, African
Americans like Jimi Hendrix, and even white British men such as the Beatles all gained popularity. It
included everyone. Since there was no disclusion, there were influences from many different
backgrounds and musical styles. There was folk influences such as Dylan, pop influences from the
Beatles, soul influences from Aretha Franklin, and even African American influences that led to
Motown. These styles led to the formations and beginnings of new types of musical styles, from
people who began to mix genres. People such as Jimi Hendrix began to take the already laid
groundwork of the rock sound and turn it into their own, in the matter of a decade. Hendrix was best
known for his amazing guitar skills, and was able to throw down mighty solos and flights. Jamerson
also recreated the role of bass through Motown. These new ways of creating music and

Analyble Themes In The Calculus Diaries By Jennifer Ouellette
The author of The Calculus Diaries, Jennifer Ouellette, conveys a story to the reader that calculus isn t
as evil as everyone makes it seem, and to show its uses in everyday life. This happens expertly by
using relatable topics such as gambling in Vegas, how to lose weight, and how to survive the zombie
apocalypse. Ouellette makes it a key point that anyone can understand and apply calculus, even those
who dread even hearing the term. In addition, since every chapter has a new topic the characters
around her vary, but she remains the narrator of the story. One explanation about why she does this is
because she describes calculus as being on par with a story where the main character and viewpoint
can change the entire meaning of the story. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
One weakness this book has though is the fact that it sometimes strayed too far from the main purpose
of the book that the reader could become bored before the author reaches her main point. For example,
on many occasions throughout the book Ouellette dives too deep into the history of the people who
came up with theories, hypotheses, or equations and this distracts from the main purpose of the book,
which is to make calculus more engaging for the readers. Finally, this book was enjoyable because it
allowed for a better understanding of a complicated topic by using a variety of interesting examples
where calculus is important. Also, since the longer chapters where broken up into smaller sections it
was easier to read it faster and making the book more pleasurable. I would recommend this book
highly to other students who want to go into a career that will deal with a bunch of calculus because it
intelligently shows you the basic concepts, but in an easy to understand way. This book challenges the
reader to take a step back and look at the more interesting side of calculus to gain a more solid
understanding. For the mechanical engineering major, one must complete Calculus I, II, and III, so
having a strong foundation of knowledge makes these easier in the long run. Also, the test this book
puts on its readers is to make calculus more fun, which makes me more inclined to join clubs and
organizations on campus that use calculus because that is the easiest way to

The Decisive Outcome Of The Napoleonic Wars
Thesis Statement:
This paper shall attempt to show the reasons for the need of this campaign and why this campaign was
important to the decisive outcome of the Napoleonic Wars [1787 1815].
Historical Background:
In 1803, the War of the Third Coalition began against France. In this coalition, the powers of the
United Kingdom, Austria, Russia, and Sweden went to war against France to reestablish order on the
old continent of Europe. In the War of the Third Coalition two major battles of the Napoleonic wars
were seen: Austerlitz and Trafalgar both were decisive in their tides of the war efforts. In the end,
Austria would be forced into a surrender, and the Confederation of the Rhine would occur. This would
leave the United Kingdom as one of the few states at war with France for the safety of Europe. By
1808, Napoleon was marching on many of the old states (again): Austria, Prussia, and Spain. With the
French invasion of Spain and Portugal, the British were forced to send troops to the Iberian Peninsula.
Following a series of defeats and almost the complete loss of Lisbon, the United Kingdom placed
Arthur Wellesley (who would later become known as the Duke of Wellington) in command of the
Iberian Forces for the defense of Portugal, thereby, beginning the great campaign in Spain, known
only as, the Peninsula Campaign. The reason for the historical significance of the Peninsula Campaign
of 1808 to 1814 is thusly this: with growing number of British troops in the underbelly of

The Benefits Of Vegetarianism
Vegetarianism is a controversial topic that involves the consumption of meat. Should one become a
vegetarian? If consuming meat involves the production of factory farming and health risks the
consuming meat is not good. If consuming meat is not good, one should become a vegetarian.
Therefore one should become a vegetarian. A suitable beginning would be to define a factory farm.
A factory farm is a large, industrial operation. It raises large numbers of animals for food. About nine
billion animals live in factory farms to live a miserable existence. Newborns torn from their mom days
after being born. Sometimes even hours. They are then transported and kept in small cages. Or their is
life in cramped and overcrowded pens. Males in egg farms are not valuable. Tens of thousands of
them are into the trash because their meat is unsuitable. They are also ground alive into feed for other
animals. Male calves of dairy cows eat liquid and iron deficient diets. They are in crates for their lives
that keep them as immobile as possible. This is to keep their muscles weak and tender. Most of these
animals at these farms are indoors. Few are able to live happy lives. Because of this they are unable to
fulfill their instinctual urges. They become psychotic, neurotic and have repetitive behaviors. Many
become cannibalistic. The animals are also give a consistent regimen of antibiotics and growth
hormones. To keep disease and death away. Factory farming and non intensive family farms animals
could have surgical modifications such as beak, toe, tail removal, ear tagging and clipping, teeth
removal, branding, dehorning, castration and ovary removal (QUOTE). Due to the high cost of
anesthesia this is all performed without it. During transportation to the slaughterhouse many animals
die. Due to starvation or freezing to death. The animals who are unable to walk are downers (QUOTE)
and die in the yard. Animals with fur die in the wild. Or they live in small cages and fed each other s
remains. They are then killed by anal electrocution so their pelts are not marred. Factory farming is
immoral and has turned many people to vegetarianism.
Another reason would be this argument. Let s say someone sees a small turtle come out of the

In addition to being victims of poverty, these female protagonists also suffer as victims of their gender.
In her book, Feminist Readings of Native American Literature: Coming to Voice, Katherine M.
Donovan wrote, Although [Native American women] face many of the same problems as their male

they also face problems that are distinctly female gendered: a loss of power and esteem in formerly

The Symbolic Significance of Methuselah as It Reflects the...
Methuselah is a parrot character in The Poisonwood Bible written by Barbara Kingsolver. The novel is
set in the late 20th century in a village of The Congo call Kilanga. Methuselah is a parrot who is left
by brother Fowls for the Price family. He has been denied freedom for very long and has been kept in
a cage. Later when Nathan Price sets him free, he has no idea what to do with his independence. So he
keeps flying near the Price house and depends on the Price girls for food. When Congo s
independence is announced, Methuselah gets killed and eaten by a cat. The imprisonment and freedom
of Methuselah can symbolize the current and the future conditions of the Price family as well as the

The Belgians had colonized The Congo for its natural resources like many other western powers at the
time that aimed for no more than have dominion on every creature that moved upon this earth (10) as
it is confessed by Orleanna at the beginning of the novel. In a very similar way, Methuselah was kept
in a cage by the humans against its will only because it was a weaker creature. Just like The Congo,
Methuselah is not allowed the freedom of speech as every time he says something, Nathan Price gets
mad and inquires which one of [the daughters] taught [it] to say that word (76). In a similar way, The
Congo is denied the freedom of speech and is not considered as a sovereign state. The effects of the
colonization of The Congo can still be seen as the country could not cope up with it even after half a
century. The country remains poor and divided as it is not used to work on its own and enjoy the
freedom of living. The same happens with Methuselah after Nathan tells him that (he is) free to go
(94) and grants him freedom. Methuselah had forgotten what freedom feels like and it goes and then it
comes back because its wings aren t any count (133). Because of this Methuselah cannot survive on its
own and later he gets killed and eaten by a cat. Comparing Methuselah with hope Adah declares that
she had found hope fallen already (185) and she adds that a piece of it [was there] beside their latrine,

What Is The Threats Of The Real Estate Development In Canada

will talk about the monetary effects of the new amendment as well as outlining where developers and
builders will end up doing further developments going forward. Second, I will introduce the topic of

Off site levies may also be imposed on an intermunicipal basis (Alberta Government, 2017).
The problem with this new change and the threat to residential development is ultimately the increase
in cost to developers and builders with the new off site levies. Increasing the cost to developers and
builders in Calgary could cause a lot of them to move to other places to develop properties due to the
higher costs of developing within the City of Calgary limits. Looking at appendix A) and B) we can
see that for a vacant lot with 1 single detached to be built in 2016, the cost of the off site levy was
$2,089.00. An increase of $2,227 in 2017 has been made by the new amendment increasing the off site
levy to a total of $4,316.00 which is over twice as much the previous year. Going forward from the
current date to the next year, 2018, we see that off site levies increase again to $6,688.00. An increase
of $2,369.00. In less than 2 years, off site levies increase by $4,599 which in terms of a percentage is a
220% increase in a vacant lot with 1 single detached to be built in levy fees paid to the City of
Calgary. With the alarming increase in cost of off site levies, it will push developers and builders out
of the city to do work in other communities and cities.
One place developers and builders may move to is bedroom communities, bedroom communities are

Analyses of Little Red Cap Story
Almost the whole story takes place somewhere in a village surrounded by dense forests. Story is set

this actually occurred. Nature is well described and there are even some good detail descriptions. For
instance; ....sunbeams dancing here and there through the trees , which made the best impression on
me. Description of the nature was undeniably very important. Mainly because I think that by
describing the nature well, the writer wanted to scare kids away from lonely forests. Little Red cap can

The writer used words like whither, craftily, nosegay, thou, thee. I didn t found it hard to read, but I
believe that the story could be a bit more interesting if the writer used more modern and frequent
words and phrases. The good thing about the text is that it was both narrative and had some dialogues
in it. It is more interesting that way. The story is not exactly emotional, neither is the used language.
This however doesn t stop it from being a good version of Little Red Ridding Hood. When I read this
fairy tale I didn t felt anything, simply because of the fact that it is a fairy tale. In the mean time it
made me think about my childhood and the days when I was sitting in front of TV for hours, watching

also conveys a message that if you don t want to get in trouble, then you should listen to elders and be

How Vacation Is A Vacation
Billy Stringfellow

Composition I, On line
11 May 2015
Come Sail Away Vacation is a time that most people, both young and old, look forward to with great
expectation. Much thought and consideration are usually given regarding the details and planning of a
vacation. Finding a great location with activities and dining options for all can be challenging. Our
family struggled with this dilemma for many years, until we went on a cruise vacation. There, we
found the vacation of our dreams. We had a solid week that we did not have to drive anywhere, cook,
wash dishes, clean anything, or even make the bed. Because one can travel in luxurious
accommodations to exotic ports of call, enjoy fine cuisine, service and entertainment for an
economical price, cruising is the best vacation one can take.
Cruise ships leave daily from locations all over the world and sail to many wonderful ports of call.
One can go to the Caribbean, Mexico, Bahamas, Hawaii, Alaska, Europe, or even take a cruise to
nowhere to name just a few. Depending on the length of the cruise, the ship stops at particular
locations and stays in port all day. One can enjoy the best excursion each port has to offer during the
day, then return back on board that evening to cruise away to the next day s location. The only
responsibility one has is getting back to the ship on time.
Cruises can be as expensive or as economical as one desires them to be. It really just depends on the
experience one is

Comparing The Balconey Scene In Romeo And Juliet
The balconey scene in romeo and juliet is a well remembered scene in romeo and juliet. Although,
there are different versions of it in different movies and plays. I m comparing the balconey scene
between the original script and the 1997 movie. There are a lot of differences, with not as many
similarities. It seems as a more modern day version... There are some key details in both the movie
and the script. Some key details in the play are that romeo hides in the darkness, and that he is stalking
juliet in a way. It also takes place on a balconey near the streets, [Seeing Juliet enter above on a
balcony] (Act II Scene 2, Page 71) which is a lot more in older days than modern. In the movie
version, some key details are that romeo is hidden kind of on a vine, not so much hidden thought.(You
can see in the 1997 movie, Romeo + Juliet, directed by Baz Luhrmann.) The setting is also on a deck
and a pool. Those are some of the key details you will need to know. Now, I will explain the differnces
between the original script and the movie. One pretty noticible difference is that the setting is a lot
different. In the script, the setting is on the balconey, and is definetly a way less modern version,
almost like a cliche love scene. In the 1997 movie, the setting isn t even on a balcony, it is on a back
porch with a pool. This takes away the whole cliche love scene in the original script, and as i feel takes

2.1.1 Building the team
Tuckman (1965) suggested that there are 4 stages of development that a team will go through which
are forming, storming, norming and performing. The first stage forming is when people come together
to get to know each other and try to avoid conflict at the same time. During this stage there should be
no obvious issues for the manager because people are just trying to get to know each other and trying
to learn what to do next. On the other hand the situation on the following stages could be more
challenging. During the storming stage employee will start to have conflict with each other. These
conflicts could be caused by differences in culture and working style in previous company where
employee may find hard to adopt. If the problems were not fix properly then it is possible that the
team can stay together any longer. The third stage is when team members had overcome all the
conflicts and members started to bind together where they will be supportive and respect each other.
The general manager should be alerted at all times even at this stage because may be people
compromise only due to the fear of losing their job. They will then reluctant to share ideas that might
improve the performance because it might just create another possible conflict.

With the patient in the proper position for blocking sciatic nerve by anterior approach, the doppler curved probe (SonoScape®, SSI 6000, China) was placed 10 cm distal to the inguinal crease so as to identify the sciatic nerve. After standard skin preparation, subcutaneous anesthesia was done at the puncture site with lidocaine 1% 1 ml. A 22 gauge, 150 mm insulated b bevel needle (Stimuplex; B Braun, Boulogne Billancourt, France) connected to the nerve stimulator was inserted and directed posteriorly and laterally with a 10° 15° angle relative to the vertical plane. At a depth of 5 cm, the nerve stimulator was set to deliver a current of 5.0 mA. Within a depth of 10 15 cm, the sciatic nerve was identified via stimulation and muscular responses of one of its two components: plantar flexion or inversion of the foot for the tibial nerve (TN) and dorsiflexion or eversion of the foot for the common peroneal nerve (CPN).If no muscular response was obtained at a depth of 15 cm or if the needle ... My Reflection Of Psychology And Career Development After having taken this psychology career development course (PSY 3024), I ve learned a lot about not only different psychology options, but also a lot about myself. Having come into this course, I really didn t know what I wanted to do. I really just declared psychology as my major in the summer before this semester. So, definitely my career plans have changed after taking this course. Psychology has many different subfields, ones I learned I had no idea about prior to taking this course. For example, I learned about sports psychologists and how they assist athletes in different ways to ultimately help them prevail. I learned about forensic psychologists and how they work with the judicial system and do many tasks, including helping ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... He graduated with a BS in Psychology and hadn t planned on going to graduate school. He then tried numerous types of different works like working in a senior home care facility where he was unhappy. He jumped from different jobs until he eventually went to graduate school and got a MA and PsyD in Clinical Psychology. He didn t get board certified until 7 years later when he ultimately started to work in neuro and became co owner of his own consultants practice. He recommended to me that if I already know what I want, then to find a program in neuropsychology (R. Cohen, personal communication, November 16, 2017). The goal itself is attainable, but it s important not to waste time fiddling with other jobs. In terms of realistic, he said, to think about the quality of life. If I m going to graduate with thousands and thousands of dollars in debt of student loans, then I really need to take a step back and consider what life will really be like at that point. He explained how when he worked as a therapist for children who had been abused, he was making around $50 55,000 a year, but now is earning more and is able to provide a great quality of life his wife and children. • 5. The Common Fallacies Of Reasoning Common Fallacies in Reasoning The practice of allowing citizens to vote for their leadership is currently used in two thirds of the world s countries. As such, it is imperative to the basic freedoms of the public that those citizens are properly educated on the matters they vote for. However, several cases of voter s remorse , such as that over the American presidency of Donald Trump or Britain s decision to leave the EU, imply that more work needs to be done in this regard. A good starting point might be to raise awareness of logical fallacies, strategies that the media uses to sway opinion with implication rather than fact. Several examples of these logical fallacies can be seen during the 2016 Presidential Election, leading up to the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... That s the Either/Or fallacy in action, where Trump is implying his policy to be a strictly win/lose scenario, shutting down discussion of a potential compromise right then and there. That s not supposed to be an admirable quality for the Presidency. While this was going on, one would expect the Democratic candidate, Hillary Clinton, to be more well recognized by voters. Unfortunately, her campaign was haunted by scandals from her previous role as Secretary of State, such as storing classified information on a private email server, and leaving potential deals with foreign countries undisclosed. When questioned about it at a Presidential Debate, Clinton tried to dodge the subject altogether: Wallace: Secretary Clinton, during your 2009 Senate confirmation hearing, you promised to avoid even the appearance of a conflict of interest with your dealing with the Clinton Foundation while you were secretary of state, but e mails show that donors got special access to you...Can you really say that you kept your pledge to that Senate committee? Clinton: Well, everything I did as secretary of state was in furtherance of our country s interests and our values...But I am happy, in fact I m thrilled to talk about the Clinton Foundation, because it is a world renowned charity and I am so proud of the work that it does. Freedom of speech, press, and expression. An american is not only someone who is free but is also strong. Americans have the freedom that most other countries do not have. This concept stems from our interpersonal perception of what another individual s impression is on us and how we form ourselves towards that initial perception. Out of all the theories that are at our disposal in sociology, this is the theory that interested me the most and here is why. To me the looking glass self is not just a concept or a theory but is a vital step in socialization because it s an interaction we all experience. The juxtaposition between this jubilant activity and the scars hidden in the palms of the participants accurately parallels the situation in Afghanistan. To most Americans, talk of the war in Afghanistan is commonplace, just like kite flying. However, comparable to the scars that each kite flyer holds within his hands, Afghanistan s true miseries are hidden from the world, overlooked and a testament to the Western backed government s failure to assert authority and curtail rogue strongmen (Rasmussen). Though the Western government sends troops, the government of Afghanistan remains too feeble to rebuild and revert the country back to its almost forgotten state of comfort and security. Recognizing the muted cry for help in war torn Afghanistan, Khaled Hosseini develops kite flying as a major symbol throughout his book, The Kite Runner, to further his point that Afghan society has the potential to change, and the choices we all make now will decide its fate, for better or for worse. From a cultural standpoint, kite running documents key elements of ingrained values and Afghan custom. Coding theory is the study of the properties of codes and their fitness for a specific application. Codes are used for data compression, cryptography, error correction and more recently also for network coding. Codes are studied by various scientific disciplines such as information theory, electrical engineering, mathematics, and computer science for the purpose of designing efficient and reliable data transmission methods. This typically involves the removal of redundancy and the correction (or detection) of errors in the transmitted data. (Coding Theory, 2010) There are many aspects that go into the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... If the original message were 1001, we would encode that as 10010, since the original message already had n even number of 1 s. When someone receives the message 10101, since there are an odd number of 1 s, we know that an error occurred during transmission. We do not know how many there were or which digit(s) were effected and the parity check does locate them for correction. Once the errors are located an error correcting code can begin. An ECC is an algorithm for expressing a sequence of numbers such that any errors which are introduced can be detected and corrected (within certain limitations) based on remaining numbers. (Weisstein, 2014) The study of error correcting codes and the associated mathematics is known as coding theory. Detecting the errors within codes is much easier than actually fixing the errors. The major difference between a parity check is that with error correction, errors are detected and corrected right then, not just detected. Error correction may generally be realized in two different ways: Automatic repeat request (ARQ). This is an error control technique whereby an error detection scheme is combined with requests for retransmission of erroneous data. Every block of data received is checked using the error detection code used, and if the check fails, retransmission of the data is requested this may be done repeatedly, until the data can be verified. The other is forward error correction (FEC). Here the sender encodes the data using an ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Although guanxi is often portrayed as one s social network, it is much different from the so called connections in Western society. Guanxi is a special social phenomenon in the Chinese societal context. It has survived throughout history and continues to be a prevalent trend because it has its Chinese characteristics and attributes that are not found in other societies. The existence of guanxi in Chinese society originated from the core Chinese value of collectivism. Since centuries ago, Chinese society s group life and social organization has been based on collective interests. Familial sentiments and obligations, [which were regarded as ethical relations], extended from the family into society [later on] . The unofficial, informal networks of familial and kinship obligations provided the social support mechanisms through which peasant families survived in the economy of transition and hardships (Bian, 2001, p.276). The twin themes of guanxi and the sense of hierarchy mutually enhance each other because private networks thrive through the existence of the principle of giving and reciprocating, which highlights that there is a dependent on a more resourceful party in the relationship. The Decisive Outcome Of The Napoleonic Wars Thesis Statement: This paper shall attempt to show the reasons for the need of this campaign and why this campaign was important to the decisive outcome of the Napoleonic Wars [1787 1815]. In this coalition, the powers of the United Kingdom, Austria, Russia, and Sweden went to war against France to reestablish order on the old continent of Europe. In the War of the Third Coalition two major battles of the Napoleonic wars were seen: Austerlitz and Trafalgar both were decisive in their tides of the war efforts. In the end, Austria would be forced into a surrender, and the Confederation of the Rhine would occur. This would leave the United Kingdom as one of the few states at war with France for the safety of Europe. About nine billion animals live in factory farms to live a miserable existence. Newborns torn from their mom days after being born. Sometimes even hours. They are then transported and kept in small cages. Or their is life in cramped and overcrowded pens. Males in egg farms are not valuable. Tens of thousands of them are into the trash because their meat is unsuitable. They are also ground alive into feed for other animals. Male calves of dairy cows eat liquid and iron deficient diets. They are in crates for their lives that keep them as immobile as possible. This is to keep their muscles weak and tender. Most of these animals at these farms are indoors. Few are able to live happy lives. Because of this they are unable to fulfill their instinctual urges. They become psychotic, neurotic and have repetitive behaviors. Many become cannibalistic. The animals are also give a consistent regimen of antibiotics and growth hormones. To keep disease and death away. Factory farming and non intensive family farms animals could have surgical modifications such as beak, toe, tail removal, ear tagging and clipping, teeth removal, branding, dehorning, castration and ovary removal (QUOTE). The animals who are unable to walk are downers (QUOTE) and die in the yard. Animals with fur die in the wild. Or they live in small cages and fed each other s remains. They are then killed by anal electrocution so their pelts are not marred. Factory farming is immoral and has turned many people to vegetarianism. Another reason would be this argument. • 28. Love Medicine In addition to being victims of poverty, these female protagonists also suffer as victims of their gender. In her book, Feminist Readings of Native American Literature: Coming to Voice, Katherine M. Donovan wrote, Although [Native American women] face many of the same problems as their male counterparts alcoholism, drug abuse, unemployment, poverty, suicide, loss of tradition and identity they also face problems that are distinctly female gendered: a loss of power and esteem in formerly matrilineal cultures; the trauma of psychological, physical, and sexual abuse from Native and non Native men (Donovan 18) First Nation women had very few rights in the 1900s and their issues drew very little attention. Even today, many First Nation s women are murdered and raped without much police or media attention. In the 1940s until the 1980s, the setting of these books, their rights and attention to their issues would have been even fewer, and many men will have taken advantage of First Nation women. In the beginning of the first chapter, June is on her way back to the reservation, however, she sees a man in a bar who, rapped at her from inside the window (1) and hooked his arm, inviting her to enter (1). The ease of which he convinces her to come into the bar demonstrates how little she respects herself. June s lack of self respect evokes pity from the reader, as it comes from her lack of self confidence and lack of self esteem. This image is furthered when she allows Andy, the man at the bar, to have sex with her because she thought he could be different (3), despite the fact that he doesn t know her name, and has no regard for her. Again, her lack of self esteem develops pity and sympathy for her character as she walks to her own death. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

So he keeps flying near the Price house and depends on the Price girls for food. When Congo s independence is announced, Methuselah gets killed and eaten by a cat. The imprisonment and freedom of Methuselah can symbolize the current and the future conditions of the Price family as well as the colonization and independence of The Congo. ... The Belgians had colonized The Congo for its natural resources like many other western powers at the time that aimed for no more than have dominion on every creature that moved upon this earth (10) as it is confessed by Orleanna at the beginning of the novel. In a very similar way, Methuselah was kept in a cage by the humans against its will only because it was a weaker creature. Just like The Congo, Methuselah is not allowed the freedom of speech as every time he says something, Nathan Price gets mad and inquires which one of [the daughters] taught [it] to say that word (76). In a similar way, The Congo is denied the freedom of speech and is not considered as a sovereign state. The effects of the colonization of The Congo can still be seen as the country could not cope up with it even after half a century. The country remains poor and divided as it is not used to work on its own and enjoy the freedom of living. The same happens with Methuselah after Nathan tells him that (he is) free to go (94) and grants him freedom. Methuselah had forgotten what freedom feels like and it goes and then it comes back because its wings aren t any count (133). Because of this Methuselah cannot survive on its own and later he gets killed and eaten by a cat. Comparing Methuselah with hope Adah declares that she had found hope fallen already (185) and she adds that a piece of it [was there] beside their latrine, one red plume (185). In an act ... Off site levies may also be imposed on an intermunicipal basis (Alberta Government, 2017). The problem with this new change and the threat to residential development is ultimately the increase in cost to developers and builders with the new off site levies. Increasing the cost to developers and builders in Calgary could cause a lot of them to move to other places to develop properties due to the higher costs of developing within the City of Calgary limits. Looking at appendix A) and B) we can see that for a vacant lot with 1 single detached to be built in 2016, the cost of the off site levy was $2,089.00. An increase of $2,227 in 2017 has been made by the new amendment increasing the off site levy to a total of $4,316.00 which is over twice as much the previous year. Going forward from the current date to the next year, 2018, we see that off site levies increase again to $6,688.00. An increase of $2,369.00. In less than 2 years, off site levies increase by $4,599 which in terms of a percentage is a 220% increase in a vacant lot with 1 single detached to be built in levy fees paid to the City of Calgary. With the alarming increase in cost of off site levies, it will push developers and builders out of the city to do work in other communities and cities. • 31. Analyses of Little Red Cap Story Almost the whole story takes place somewhere in a village surrounded by dense forests. Story is set rather in the past time, but as I see it, it s imaginative which makes it impossible to decide really when this actually occurred. Nature is well described and there are even some good detail descriptions. For instance; ....sunbeams dancing here and there through the trees , which made the best impression on me. Description of the nature was undeniably very important. Mainly because I think that by describing the nature well, the writer wanted to scare kids away from lonely forests. Little Red cap can be described as a young, innocent girl that is going trough a period of time, where everything seems right. She seems to be well ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The writer used words like whither, craftily, nosegay, thou, thee. I didn t found it hard to read, but I believe that the story could be a bit more interesting if the writer used more modern and frequent words and phrases. The good thing about the text is that it was both narrative and had some dialogues in it. It is more interesting that way. The story is not exactly emotional, neither is the used language. This however doesn t stop it from being a good version of Little Red Ridding Hood. When I read this fairy tale I didn t felt anything, simply because of the fact that it is a fairy tale. In the mean time it made me think about my childhood and the days when I was sitting in front of TV for hours, watching Little Red Ridding Hood. I remember it was one of my absolute favorite fairy tales. It felt nice to rewind that time. Right now, I don t really have much to say about it. I personally haven t learnt anything about life by reading this fairy tale now, but I know that it changed my thinking when I read it and saw it on TV as a child. Little Red RiddingHood is a great fairy tale for kids because in the same time as it entertains it is informing kids to be more careful with the strangers. • 32. How Vacation Is A Vacation Billy Stringfellow Amy McWhirt Composition I, On line 11 May 2015 Come Sail Away Vacation is a time that most people, both young and old, look forward to with great expectation. Much thought and consideration are usually given regarding the details and planning of a vacation. Finding a great location with activities and dining options for all can be challenging. Our family struggled with this dilemma for many years, until we went on a cruise vacation. There, we found the vacation of our dreams. We had a solid week that we did not have to drive anywhere, cook, wash dishes, clean anything, or even make the bed. Because one can travel in luxurious accommodations to exotic ports of call, enjoy fine cuisine, service and entertainment for an economical price, cruising is the best vacation one can take. Cruise ships leave daily from locations all over the world and sail to many wonderful ports of call. One can go to the Caribbean, Mexico, Bahamas, Hawaii, Alaska, Europe, or even take a cruise to nowhere to name just a few. Depending on the length of the cruise, the ship stops at particular locations and stays in port all day. One can enjoy the best excursion each port has to offer during the day, then return back on board that evening to cruise away to the next day s location. The only responsibility one has is getting back to the ship on time. Cruises can be as expensive or as economical as one desires them to be. It really just depends on the experience one is ... • 34. Comparing The Balconey Scene In Romeo And Juliet The balconey scene in romeo and juliet is a well remembered scene in romeo and juliet. Although, there are different versions of it in different movies and plays. I m comparing the balconey scene between the original script and the 1997 movie. There are a lot of differences, with not as many similarities. It seems as a more modern day version... There are some key details in both the movie and the script. Some key details in the play are that romeo hides in the darkness, and that he is stalking juliet in a way. It also takes place on a balconey near the streets, [Seeing Juliet enter above on a balcony] (Act II Scene 2, Page 71) which is a lot more in older days than modern. In the movie version, some key details are that romeo is hidden kind of on a vine, not so much hidden thought.(You can see in the 1997 movie, Romeo + Juliet, directed by Baz Luhrmann.) The setting is also on a deck and a pool. Those are some of the key details you will need to know. Now, I will explain the differnces between the original script and the movie. One pretty noticible difference is that the setting is a lot different. In the script, the setting is on the balconey, and is definetly a way less modern version, almost like a cliche love scene. In the 1997 movie, the setting isn t even on a balcony, it is on a back porch with a pool. This takes away the whole cliche love scene in the original script, and as i feel takes awaay some of the meaning of the original. It also is a lot more ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Some people would argue that creative play is a very important thing to include in a child s day. Others say that creative play is not critical to a child s development but organized activities are. Many people believe that creative play is no longer as essential as it was once believed to be and that organized activities actaully provide more benefits. They say that since being involved in an organized activity requires commitment, teamwork, and hard work it can help children become responsible adults. They also beleive that organized activities help parents become more involved in their children s lives. I believe that creative play ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... 2.1.1 Building the team Tuckman (1965) suggested that there are 4 stages of development that a team will go through which are forming, storming, norming and performing. The first stage forming is when people come together to get to know each other and try to avoid conflict at the same time. During this stage there should be no obvious issues for the manager because people are just trying to get to know each other and trying to learn what to do next. On the other hand the situation on the following stages could be more challenging. During the storming stage employee will start to have conflict with each other. These conflicts could be caused by differences in culture and working style in previous company where employee may find hard to adopt. If the problems were not fix properly then it is possible that the team can stay together any longer. The third stage is when team members had overcome all the conflicts and members started to bind together where they will be supportive and respect each other. The general manager should be alerted at all times even at this stage because may be people compromise only due to the fear of losing their job. They will then reluctant to share ideas that might improve the performance because it might just create another possible conflict. 2.1.2 Employee relation Good employee ...
