(including, among others,
FUCKi̶s̶m̶TC, FEMINi̶s̶m̶TC,
FXXXi̶s̶m̶TC, XXXXXi̶s̶m̶TC,
SUCKi̶s̶m̶TC).
5. FEMINi̶s̶m̶TC champions the semantic
potential of art as a means of a
condensed communication and device
that compresses, stores, and
disseminates information, referring
beyond mere representation of images.
Tailored to venues and spaces, the
interventions of FXXXi̶s̶m̶TC made prêt-
à-porter merchandising articles and
installations show an aesthetics that
draws on clear, reduced stylistic devices,
the post-capitalist advertising methods
of the spectacle as well as the artistic-
political tactics of subversive
affirmation.
If contemporary art at its most vital
occupies the cultural borders where
change takes place and it is one vehicle,
by which cultural values and practice are
transformed, then our Art-Label
XXXXXi̶s̶m̶TC operates on exactly this
cultural border.
