I was born in 1981, the starting period of China s economy reform designed and
implemented under the leadership of Mr. De Xiaoping. I have witnessed the

You will always define events in a manner which will validate your agreement with

What Is A Reflection On Learning And Individual
Difference...
During spring semester, I took a class on learning and individual difference with
Dr. Tobey, in which we covered theory and research in learning and social
psychology in the school environment. While we were covering a topic on
neuroscience, I became fascinated with learning more and approached Dr. Tobey on
any possible research opportunities. Taking my request, she referred me to Dr.
Immordino Yang, who is an associate professor at Rossier, and informed me about
the Brainand Creativity Institute (BCI). As will be explained later, I contacted Dr.
Immordino Yang and forward me to her partner Dr. Yang on the projects they were
working on.
Internship Site The Brain and Creativity Institute is located on the USC campus, in
the Dornsife Cognitive Neuroscience Imaging building. The BCI lab itself presents
itself with glass doors and once you enter has a front desk secretary to assist with
any possible questions. In the second floor of the building there are various labs
where it hosts the multiple programs that the BCI has to offer. Some of the
research programs that are housed in the BCI include, the Brain and music
program, feelings program and the one I am involved in, the cross cultural social
emotional program. In addition to having the opportunity to work in the lab, I was
able to do my work at home. This privilege was given to me because most of my
work entailed of coding survey responses.
Activities and Work Duties When I first entered the doors of the BCI, I met with
my fieldwork supervisor, Dr. Yang, who explained to me the purpose of the
program and the overall mission of the BCI. Throughout our conversation, I
mentioned to her my eagerness to learn more about the neuroscience field and my
willingness to assist with some projects. After our meeting, she sent me various
articles to read and recommended that I take notes on some specific topics that
interest me. The articles related to the broader scheme of neuroscience along with
some articles by Dr. Immordino Yang. The article that was highly emphasized by Dr.

The organization I work for is experiencing a tremendous and stressful
transformation. It requires that we utilize some of the resiliency builders including
perceptiveness, being aware of exactly what is happening, maintaining a sense of
humor ( a recent physical move of an entire organization into another work site has us
labeling water fountains BHSI only and CBH only ...really?).
One of the strengths of this organization is also one of its weaknesses. We have a
set criteria for those that want to access our services, however during the recent
economic crash we relaxed our rules as we were perceptive enough to realize that if
we didn t there would be a whole community of individuals that we would not serve.
Encouraging flexibility in the workplace can be challenging as individuals must be
able to discern.
Resilience is the cornerstone of the Strength Based perspective. This tool can be
used to re enforce resiliency in the individuals we serve and is a excellent self
assessment tool. I manage a group of para professionals who provide telephonic
support to individuals in recovery. I will share the assessment tool with the group as a
baseline tool for resiliency. This quiz can provide conversation that encourages
openness and enlightenment. I believe it will be immensely helpful. Times are tough,
high unemployment, decreased resources within our communities; international
unrest are just some of the stressors that challenge our resiliency. Positive

Technology making our world today dystopia Technology is making our world
today a dystopia world. Many people think technology made our world better but to
be honest it made it worst. Here are the reasons why it made it worst and not better.
First it made people lazy, for example before people used to go out and shop, they
used to walk and get some exercises while now they can just order online. Second it
made people spend more money because everything easier to get online now.

Kiowa was against it, he felt like it was wrong and since he was religious he felt
like setting up camp and base of operations in a church was bad news. Dobbins
however wasn t all that religious, he believed in god but it was just being nice to
people that mattered to him. Kiowa grew up loving churches and carrying The Bible
around but Dobbins hated churches.

Allen is suing Comcast and Time Warner Cable, because he states that all African
American based networks and shows go through a different channel carriage
