What is difference between game and non game species?
Typically, game species are defined as species harvested for recreational purposes while non game
species are not consumed. More basically, is it hunted or not. However, these are actually legal
definitions which may vary from state to state. Hunting or consumption is not used to manage non
game species, except in the case of managing predators impacting endangered species. However,
game species, typically thought of in terms of hunting, are alternatively appreciated non
consumptively as well. Therefore, hunting or consumption is not an adequate distinction between
game and non game species. Furthermore, species definitions are influenced by political, economic
and social values expressed through

Saddle A Horse Saddle
Not everyone knows how to ride a horse, so that means not everyone knows how to put a saddle on
the horse so they can ride it. Saddling a horse if actually really easy they just need to know how to do
it. This is how to put a saddle on a horse. First, before they can do anything else is to go and catch the
horse. When they go to catch the horse they will need a halter. When they catch the horse they will
have to go to the horse stall and tie him up. Finally they are able to start the saddling process. First
they will need to get a brush and brush all the dirt of him. The reason they need to brush him off is
because if they saddle him with dirt still on him it will make the saddle uncomfortable, and this will
increase the chance of him bucking

Socialist Party Research Paper
It would be safe to say that in a perfect world, Utopian Communities would be ideal. The Socialist
Party was fueled by the idea of Utopian Communities, in which communities possessed highly
desirable or perfect qualities. Is this a realistic concept? Most would say no; it is impossible to create a
perfect society, where there are no problems, as human nature does not allow this. People would try to
construct utopies on earth via ideologies such as communism. Communism, as we know, is a political
theory derived from Karl Marx, advocating class war and leading to a society in which all property is
publicly owned and each person works and is paid according to their abilities and needs.
The Socialist Party would form strong alliances with a number of labor organizations, because of their
similar goals. In an attempt to rebel against the abuses of corporation workers, they believed they had
found a solution in a technique of collective bargaining. They banded together in unions and by ...

The day after Congress declared war on Germany (April 7, 1917), the Socialist Party began holding
anti draft demonstrations, declaring the war a crime against the people of the United States of
America. This alone is mind boggling, because nevermind having to worry about going to war with
another country, but now there is a civil war happening on U.S. soil, preventing the younger men that
the U.S. needed to defend our country from actually performing that role. In 1919, the Communist
Labor party was formed and would soon combine with the Socialist Labor Party as the Communist
Party of the United States of America. Through the years, this party would grow to maintain a
membership of over 50,000 until the 1950 s, when the party began its steady

recognition of the grace of God . It has been called the sin from which all others arise also known as
Vanity. It s the same pride that s keep quoting love wins quotation, painting everything rainbow

Marriage isn t considered a marriage even if it is the law of the land. Marriage is very old it was
defined between Adam and Eve. Former gay Pastor Donnie McClurkin said, No matter what my past

someone who has attractions to the same sex, but understand the concept of marriage why can t
everyone else can t. It is not between man and man, woman and woman, or transgender. The sense of
pride and the concept of rainbows has been changed. Pride and the rainbow are very big religiously. A
there are two different types of prideful person in the bible is someone who feels a job well done, and
a sinful person who shifts ultimate confidence from God to self. Its stories about God humbling
prideful people like King Nebuchadnezzar and Hezekiah that God humbled down. Pride caused the
community to use to rainbow. The rainbow also has a lot of symbolism to it. In the bible a rainbow
appears right after the flood to remove sinful and evil people from the Earth. It symbolizes the
covenant God made with Noah that he will not destroy Earth with water again. If these things been set

Difference Between AAOIFRS And IFRS
Comparison Between AAOIFI IFRS
Under the economic globalization and the rapid development of Islamic finance in recent years, the
business activities with Islamic countries became a worldwide focus. However, it is notable that the
conventional accounting system would face a challenge with the compliance of Shariah. Therefore,
the Islamic accounting standards AAOIFI were developed due to of the existing problem with the
adoption of the convention accounting standards (IFRS). In this chapter, to illustrate the difference
among IFRS and AAOIFI, the general description of these two accounting standards will be presented,
followed by the distinguishing between the adoption as well as the comparison of some specific

Besides, the company can issue shares, and hand out the dividends, or issue bonds and pay the
interest; moreover, taking a loan from the bank with interest is an alternative. However, in Islamic
accounting, the interest is not allowed, which prevent the company from raising the fund through last
two options. Thus, the Mudaraba is widely applied in Islamic economies. Mudaraba is a kind of
partnership which one party provides money to a commercial enterprise, and the funds are managed
by a third party based on Mudaraba investment management agreement. For example, the depositor
can authorize the Islamic bank to manage their funds, and get profit from the return on the funds
invested.
For the Mudaraba investment found, AAOIFI standards require presenting the funds in a separate item
between liabilities and equity in the statement of financial position. On the contrary, compliant with
IFRS, the fund will be recorded as liability.

Darwinian Evolution
Young conservative christian children and their parents fear the day, in which, Darwinian Evolution is
discussed in the biology classroom. The parents fear that the science behind Darwinian Evolution will
cause their children to abondon the teachings in the first two chapters in the book of Genesis. The
children fear that their secular classmates may challenge their beliefs because the science of Evolution
disproves God. The fear associated with the idea that science may disprove the God that individuals
have loved and worshiped for generations is a tremindous burden. This fear leads to christians
adopting the conflict model or the separation model of relating science and religion (Alexander).

Alexander and Nichols states that in today s time the secular media tends to show reports on conflict
between the Church and scientific findings. The conflict between the two realms has existed for many
centuries, but there are some misconceptions associated with the conflict history. One famous story, in
particular, is known and continually misused as an example of science vs. religion. The Galileo Affair
is known by many as the pivital proof that religions shun and mistreat scientific findings. Ernan
McMullin provided an excellent article about the events that occured within the Galileo Affair. Most
individuals misinterpret the situation due to the powerful Catholic Church trying to prevent Galileo
from sharing his findings. The truth is that the Galileo Affair was not a science vs. religion battle,
instead it was science vs. science. The following summary of the Galileo is from McMullin s article.
Galileo used a telescope to observe moons orbiting Jupiter, and his findings ended up verifying
Copernicus s ideas associated with the Heliocentric layout of the universe. The conflict happened
because the Heliocentric layout greatly conflicted with the accepted Geocentric layout taught by
Aristotle. The Geocentric layout was the reigning paradigm, and the Catholic Church supported the
layout because it was matched with some interpretations of

Media s Portrayal Of Women
Media represents males and females by gendering them in different categories. According to a
presentation, the author states, Media perceives women in a very sexual manner whereas men are
symbolized as powerful (Khan). Over and over again, the one thing that the media reveals is that
women are very sexual beings. They show that they are only good for taking care of the home and the
man is very powerful. For example, the author on the presentation shows a ad that a man is in a life
guard outfit with him having muscles which portrays him to look like a hero. On the other side there is
a picture of a woman who looks stressed with babies all around her crying with both her hands full.
One side she is holding a math test with a F on it and the other side is holding a pot full of baby bottles
(Khan). This shows that women are supposed to be the only one taking care of the house and because
of that the women looks stressed. In the article, Face it , the author states,
In contemporary media and culture, women s and men s social desirability and gender have often been
defined in terms of their bodies. For women, this has often involved comparing themselves to and
even replicating the thin ideal , altering their bodies to heighten perceived sexuality or youthfulness, or
conforming to traditional definitions of femininity including qualities such as submissiveness or
sentimentality. For men, gender based definitions of success frequently revolve around presenting or

values and attitude of the people in these worlds. The worlds created in Sive and Children of Men are
very distinct but also have many parallels. Both texts explore the concepts of family, love, fear and

The setting of each text was paramount in informing me about the attitudes and values of that time.
Each text depicts an oppressive and controlled society. Children of Men is set in the year 2027, in the

Sive. Both protagonists receive motivation to stand up for what they believe in. In children of Men ,

something which gives him hope and drives him on. Kee the lady he is protecting is pregnant with the
first baby in 18 years, your baby is the miracle the world has been waiting for . This displays Theo s
newfound hope; it is this hope that gives him purpose. Similarly Sive also receives a reason to hope
which also gives her purpose. Liam Scuab and Sive fall in love. After being matched with Sean Dota it
is her love for Liam Scuab that drives her to rebel against the match. Sive, I love you are the words
that give Sive purpose to rebel against society. Both Alfonso Cuaron and John B. Keane have created
situations for the protagonists where they are forced to rebel in order to get what they believe in.
Both texts explore the ideas of love and marriage. In Children of Men Theo was married to Julian and
they had a son called Dylan. However baby Dylan died and their grief drove them apart and destroyed
their family. In contrast to this, in Sive Sive and Liam are only beginning their relationship and face

I believe the summer is the perfect opportunity to jump into something new and challenging in order
to develop one s intellect and character. My ultimate career goal is to become a physician scientist and
I feel using the summer to gain clinical skills earlier on will positively impact my career trajectory.
During my undergraduate experience, I have not had many opportunities to conduct clinical research,

The Day My Little Sister
Looking back on life, there are many little moments that stand out. Some, more than others, have
shaped you in a way that changed the trajectory of your life. These moments can be anything, walking
left may have saved you from being mugged, choosing the wrong car can get you stranded in the
middle of nowhere. These little choices and events have a way of forming how we are going to live
our lives. There are days that are more important than others, however, for me only one comes to
mind. The day my little sister, Emily, was born is the most important day of my existence, this day
altered my life for the better. When I was an only child, I never felt lonesome. I was constantly the
center of attention. When I was not with my parents, I was with my Ma and Pa my grandparents I
could do anything I wanted to do, because they allowed it. Although, I always had a small suspicion
that I was missing out on something. My friends had younger siblings, as I observed their interactions
I discovered what I was missing out on. I exhausted myself for hours trying to determine if I wanted a
brother or a sister. Eventually, after thinking it over I implored my parents for a little sister. Years later,
my parents told me they were frightened of my reaction if I happened to get a brother. Nonetheless, I
got precisely what I wanted. Emily was born on a bright Friday morning. I was there the entire time,
amusing myself with my life sized baby doll as I sat in the waiting room. I wanted to help

The Comparison of the Road and Into the Wild Essay
The Comparisons of the Boys
Two popular novels that are read in English literature today are Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer and The
Road by Cormac McCarthy. Both these books share three valuable comparisons. One being that both
protagonists go on a self evolving and physical journey, another that both the fathers in the novel share
demanding relationships with their sons, and the lessons that both boys learned. A journey does not
have to be simply walking through the woods. It can actually be a person going through an internal
transformation. In Into the Wild and The Road Chris McCandles and the young boy go through their
own transformations on their journey. The young boys matures over the course of his journey with his

Parents can have influencing decisions on children when they are still at a small age of being
dependent on others. All throughout The Road the father constantly tells his son the next route on the
journey, who to and to not trust, and decisions he must make. Ever since the day where the whole
world diminished the father began to map out of the route the two men would take leaving his son
with no room for his input. The father would never let his son be an open minded individual and get to
know people for who they are. A prime example of this is when the men stumble open a poor, old,
dirty man sitting on the ground of their path with hardly any clothing on and his bone deteriorating.
The father believes the vagabond is trying to steal food and the son believes he truly just needs help.
The boy finds it in his heard to give the man a jar of peaches but his father is very hesitant and insist
that the boy must not continue speaking to the homeless man and too specifically not ask him to
dinner. The young boy crushed by his fathers ignorance and crude behavior begins to see a change in
his father and really trust if his father is trying to protect the both of them or just scared of getting to
know people. At the end of the story when the father passes away he passes on the torch to his son to

Importance Of Life Experiences In My Life
I have had a plethora of unique life experiences, many of which have happened in the last couple years
of my life. In the past three years I have traveled to Guatemala, all over Germany, and Hawaii. During
the summer of my freshman year of High School, I went on a missions trip to Guatemala. My church
took 10 boys, and 10 girls; we spent a total of a week in a small impoverished town called . I believe
that this trip allowed me, for the first time, to see, and be enveloped in a new culture. During the trip I
ate new foods, played new games, and learned about the Guatemalan culture. I was able to spend time
with all of the local kids, and learn how to respect a new culture. Then, this last summer, I was able to
take a part in a German Exchange program with my school. After taking 3 years of German in High
School, I was one of twenty people selected to go on a three week long exchange program in
Germany. The trip consisted of a week traveling with the 20 people chosen to go. The other two weeks
were spent living with my host family and German partner. During my stay there I visited Berlin,
Munich, Cologne, and traveled to the Netherlands. This was another chance for me to experience a
new culture, and to further my German speaking skills. However, more importantly, it allowed me to
make lifelong friends in another part of the world. About a month after I got back from Germany, my
family went on a 12 day vacation to Hawaii. During my time there I had the opportunity to do a

Views on Teens Pregnancies Through the Years Essay
The Views on Teens Pregnancies Through the Years
There are many different attributes to teenage pregnancy. The majority of teenagers do not realize the
consequences of their actions. Taking that into consideration the influences of the teens are highly
important during the pre teen stage all the way to adult hood. During the time of this impressionable
stage many of the teens are having sex not because of love, but because it is a trend. The media is
glamorizing teen pregnancy and leading to a cultural shift. Around the world teenage pregnancy has
been an issue. Many of the teen mothers are between 15 and 19. There have been a variety of attempts
to provide a decline in teenage pregnancy such as: abstinence groups, the Federal Government, ...

Not only does the media influence young women, but their home life has huge impact too. Most
children learn by watching an adult around them and there is their influence. Therefore the media is
not the only one to blame for teenage pregnancy. There are many people and things that can be
blamed, however, there is a root to the problem. Not only is it teenage pregnancy impacting teens; but
it impacts everyone around them. In the United States taxpayers pay around $11 billion on teen
pregnancies a year because of someone else s mistake( Editorial: Brings Blessings). In America there
are many births in a year affecting many people around the nation. Since 1996 abstinence programs
have collected over $1 billion in federal funding. Many people blame the abstinence programs for
higher birth rates. People believe that teens should have sex education in order to protect them from
teen pregnancy(Gulli 40). There goes more money from the government toward teenage pregnancy. It
is believed that abstinence programs are not the solution to preventing teen pregnancy, however,
people would like too see more sex education being taught to young impressionable kids. This show
that the Christian view of abstinence is not the popular solution that people choose, but being educated
and being taught about sex is a better approach. In todays society there has been a cultural shift in
beliefs and morals. Many girls are having sex simply because of the words I love

Literary Fiction Analysis
In the world of literature, fiction is often used to portray an entertaining story of a story they have a
greater meaning to itself. There are two types of fiction Each of these stories falls on, which are
commercial fiction, use to entertain us, as it tends to contain a setting that is easy to understand and a
plot that is very distinct. This type of fiction is merely for enjoyment and doesn t have any deeper
meaning to the story. In contrast with literary fiction where the stories is more character driven as we
focus more on their minds and emotions, it contains a plot that usually underlines a social or cultural
thread that impacts the story, however, is less obvious. When the audience reads these type of stories a

Another aspect that shows its commercial fiction is the details of the protagonist which is Rainford
who we find our has a vast experience on hunting I ve read your book about the hunting snow
leopards in Tibet, you see (pg 72) as well once he was being hunted by Zaroff he had used tactics to
kill him ... native trick he had learned in Uganda. which gave Rainsford an advantage toward his
opponent when it comes to hunting. The story is seen as commercial fiction because it is a book that is
ment to grab our attention and entertain the reader.
The only literary fiction out of the three stories is Hunters in the Snow by Tobias Wolff s which
follows three men Tubs, Kenny, and Francis who decide to go hunting in the winter. The plot of the
story isn t as obvious compared to commercial fiction, we are put in the thought that these three men
are going to hunt for deer, but in reality, they are men lost trying to find a solution towards their
problem. Kenny can be seen as someone who wants to be feared and wants power as we see when
they go and pick up Tubs The truck jumped the curb and kept coming, half on the street and half on
the sidewalk (pg 86) which was heading straight towards him, until Tubs moved out of the way. As

Invasive Species Threatens The Ecosystem
Invasive Species Threatens the Ecosystem Every life form all over the world depends on the
ecosystem for its survival. However, the ecosystem can be threatened when there is an excess or drop
in resources. Many people will argue that human beings are the primary cause of this economic
imbalance but are people the root of this problem? No. There is evidence that invasive species all over
the country has also threatened our ecosystem. Invasive species are any living organism such a plants,
fungus, insects, and fish just to name a few. Invasive species pose a threat to wildlife in many ways. (
National Wildlife Federation, 2009) states species brought into an atmosphere that doesn t have any
predators are considered dangerous. They often breed and spread rapidly, assuming control over a
region. Local untamed life has no advanced safeguards against the trespasser, and they stand no
chance against species that has no predators (p.2). Furthermore, these species invade areas that they
aren t indigenous to and reproduce quickly. To further understand the underlying crux of invasive
species and how this matter may come to fruition, I will provide an analogy of an article that addresses
this problem, by summarizing and identifying the negative impact invasive species have on the
ecosystem. Today, some may say that human beings are the reason invasive species prevail. According
to Bright (1999), Obtrusive species are being transported through the worldwide

1860-1877 Revolution Due to Social Developments
Throughout American history, many have worked to make constitutional and social equality for all
Americans, slave and free, black and white. Between 1860 and 1877, America had gone through civil
war
and reconstruction, from destructive to constructive. Hence, there had been many factors that
attributed to
constitutional and social developments in America history, but the main reasons for the change could
attribute
to the economic rivalry between the industrial North and the agricultural South and the pivotal gap
concerning
slavery and the political reconstruction.

Since the Department of Justice is the largest law firm in the nation, it serves as counsel for its

criminals and subversion in ensuring healthy competition of business in our free enterprise system, in
safeguarding the consumer, and in enforcing drug, immigration, and naturalization laws. In identifying

The Last Dynasty Of Isin
From 1975 to 1954 BCE, Iddin Dagan ruled the city of Isin, which is located a little south of Nippur.
Iddin Dagan is loved by the gods, especially An, Enki, and Enlil. Because these three gods favored
Iddin Dagan, he was able to have a successful ruling, filled with abundance of agriculture, a
population increase, and a strong military presence. Ultimately, this shows that religion fuels power,
and without a strong religious presence the ruler would not have an impactful kingship, which truly
benefits the people of his realm.
Isin is the last dynasty that is mentioned in the Sumerian King List. Iddin Dagan was the third king of
the first dynasty of Isin. During the twentieth and nineteenth centuries, decentralizing forces were
strong, which led to an increasing number of local dynasties to come to power, such as the Isin
dynasty (Vdm, 90, document 5.2). The dynasty of Isin was started by Ishbi Erra, when he freed the
city of Ur and brought the local dynasty to Isin. Ishbi Erra continued a lot of the same practices of the
Ur III dynasty in the Isin dynasty.
This document, A Praise Poem of Iddin Dagan, is considered Sumerian royal praise poetry, which
often depicted and praised the various achievements, strengths and accomplishments of rulers in the
ancient Near East. Royal praise poetry can be used to analyze the legitimacy of a king and how he
ruled, how his people felt about him, and his relationship with the gods. Strong and successful kings

Transportation And Warehouse Management Essay
Transportation and Warehouse Management
SUMMARY
The report is on how transportation and warehouse management plays a vital role in the supply chain,
different modes of transports that involve in the freight movement from one location to another. The
amount of time to deliver a product to customers will show the effect on company s future, so the
company has to follow some steps to have a better mode of transportation for less cost and delivery
time. The primary objective of this project is to show how the transportation and warehouse
management systems are used to overcome the problems that are faced in transportation and storage
quickly and some of the key elements in WMS and TMS.
Transportation management:
Globalization has increased the importance and role of transportation in supply chain management.
Transportation plays a vital role in increasing the Gross Domestic product. It involves the movement
of the manufactured product from one location to the another location or the customer safely.
Transportation plays a vital role in the supply chain because the probability of using the produced
product on the same site is almost negligible. Now, transportation is one of the primary factors which
can affect the economy of the company when it is not efficient, safe and reliable. Delivering the
products on time directly to the customers has been increasing significantly in these recent years
which can be accomplished only with transportation management, resulting

Fluellen notifies Henry that he shall soon to be hanged for robbing a church. The reason for this for

In Donald Hedrick s essay War is Mud: Branagh s Dirty Harry V and the Types of Political Ambiguity
he is upset with the way politics is read in film. His reaction was generated from an essay written by
Elayne Tobin in which he finds her to be disillusioned. He believes she became disillusioned by the
film community always trying to say film exposes some bad faith, and Hedrick is hesitant to so
strongly believe Hollywood is really trying to represent the agendas of the film community. As an
example of how a film can be read for political ideas he examines Kenneth Branagh s Henry V. In the
first section Mud he looks at the use of and prevalence of dirt. He claims it has more of a function than
just making King Henry look like a tactical genius for defeating the heavily armored French on a
swampy muddy field. He believes Branagh s use of dirt makes the film darker and the darkness
harkens to the character of the real Henry V. He goes on to explain how he his ruthlessness at the
Battle of Agincourt. His ruthlessness has been looked at as being a ruthless emotional act or that it
could have been a strategy for the outnumbered English. The mud calls into question the character of
the King. In American Clean he examines what kind of character King Henry is in Branagh s version.
He established he is the genuinely holy man with the capacity to be ruthless. The dirt is used to

the murderer. The match to the glove was indeed found outside of Simpson s residence at the time, but
there was controversy of whether or not it had indeed been used by Simpson or the LAPD had planted

one of the prosecutors asked Simpson to try on the glove in front of the jury, but Simpson had a hard

seemingly given the best assistance from the missionaries. However, the help that the Hawaiians
received led to them being demoralized and hurt psychologically and physiologically. In order to
succeed, underdogs often need the assistance of others. However, too much aid from others can result
in the help becoming the underdog s Goliath instead of their savior. The Hawaiians, being thought of
as the underdogs by the missionaries, were given an overwhelming amount of help which led to the
missionaries becoming the Hawaiian s Goliath. Before Captain Cook stumbled upon Hawaii, the
Hawaiians lived in harmony with the aina, or the land. They lived by ahupua a, or strict land divisions
that respected the natural landscape. Communities were created around rivers and water sources. The
Hawaiians had a strict law system called the kapu. They lived with great respect to the land and
believed in demi gods such as Pele, the goddess of the volcano, or Mau i, who was believed to have
pulled the islands out of the ocean in order for people to live on the land. Peace and prosperity thrived
throughout the islands because people understood that each individual had an important role and that
the land was

Nt1330 Week 1 Case Study Of EAP
This case project EAP researches EAP. What is EAP?
Introduction
EAP was originally created as an extension to PPP to allow for the development of arbitrary network
access authentication methods. With PPP authentication protocols such as Challenge Handshake
Authentication Protocol (CHAP), Microsoft Challenge Handshake Authentication Protocol (MS
CHAP), and MS CHAP version 2 (MS CHAP v2), a specific authentication mechanism is chosen
during the link establishment phase. During the authentication phase, the negotiated authentication
protocol allows the exchange of information about the credentials of the connecting client. The
authentication protocol is a fixed series of messages sent in a specific order.
With EAP, the specific authentication mechanism is not chosen during the link establishment phase of
the PPP connection; instead, the PPP peers ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

The Legacy Of The American Civil War
The American Civil War was the result of decades of sectional tensions between the North and South.
Over the next several months eleven southern states seceded and formed the Confederate States of
America. During the first two years of the war, Southern troops won numerous victories, but saw their
fortunes turned after losses at Gettysburg and Vicksburg in 1863. From then on, Northern forces
worked to conqueror the South, forcing them to surrender in April 1865.
The roots of the Civil War can be traced to increasing differences between the North and the South
and their growing divergence as the 19th century progressed. Among the issues were expansion of
slavery into the territories, the South s declining political power, states rights, ... Show more content

On the 21st, they met a Confederate army near Manassas and were defeated.
Following the defeat at Bull Run, Major General George McClellan was given command of the new
Union Army of the Potomac. In early 1862, he shifted south to attack Richmond through the
Peninsula. Moving slowly, he was forced to retreat after the Seven Days Battles. This campaign saw
the rise of Confederate General Robert E. Lee. After beating a Union army at Manassas, Lee began to
move north into Maryland. McClellan was sent to intercept and won a victory at Antietam on the 17th.
Unhappy with McClellan s slow pursuit of Lee, Lincoln gave command to Major General Ambrose
Burnside. In December, Burnside was beaten at Fredericksburg and replaced by Major General Joseph
Hooker. The following May, Lee engaged and defeated Hooker at Chancellorsville, VA.
In February 1862, forces under General Ulysses S. Grant captured Forts Henry Donelson. Two months
later he defeated a Confederate army at Shiloh, TN. On April 29, Union naval forces captured New
Orleans. To the east, Confederate General Braxton Bragg attempted to invade Kentucky, but was
repelled at Perryville on October 8. That December he was beaten again at Stones River, TN. Grant
now focused his attention on capturing Vicksburg and opening the Mississippi River. After a false
start, his troops swept through Mississippi on May 18, 1863.
In June of that same year, Lee began to move north towards

The Scene Of A Fur Coat Catwalk Show
The ad starts off with a short drumroll with lively and catchy background music, indicating an
upcoming important event, which is a fur coat catwalk show. Beautiful women start modelling on the
catwalk on by one. The scene shows audience and models alternatively. Once the first model starts to
walk, cameras of the reporters have not stopped flashing. Audience whistle and applaud as models
walk in front of them, who are showing off the fur coat on their bodies seductively.
The scene transfers to multiple audience s face, capturing especially their unconscious actions, like
biting their lips with hungry eyes, eyes following every movement of the models. consecutively
showing female audiences jealousy, admiration and love towards the models wearing fur, with their
eyes stick to every movement of the fur coat model. Moreover, the scene captures one of the male
audience expression of appreciation, towards these fur coat models. In a wide angle, all of the
audiences cannot take their eyes off these models.
The music suddenly turns minor, contrasting to an elegant turn around of one of the models. Suddenly
there is a splash of blood on an audience s face. Her face immediately turned sour, and painful. More
drops of blood are then seen on the catwalk, and on more audience s faces. They are frightened and
shocked as more blood is splashed on their faces. The background music turns to compact sound of
the animal jungle. Audience fearfully look at their blood covered hands and back

Christian Persecutions
Throughout the first four centuries, Christianity began to plant its roots and establish itself as a
legitimate religious presence. However, just as the Christians battled other religious presences over
what are correct teachings and practices, they also were prompted by the Roman Empire to conform or
face consequences. These consequences came in the form of a series of persecutions, which in turn,
triggered different responses from the Christians. The persecutions of Christians occurred over a span
of ten Roman Emperors and about three hundred years. Thus, over the years of persecution, numerous
reasons arose that caused this treatment of Christians by the Roman Empire. During the latter half of
the first century, Christianity was becoming ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Attacks on the Christians could not be formed due to the Empire s lack of stability at the end of the
third century. However, at the end of the third century and beginning of the fourth century, under
Diocletian, the Empire was revamped and the peace ceased. Diocletian believed that the Christians
were a hindrance to the Empire s unity, which angered the gods. In 303, Diocletian launched a purge
of Christians throughout the Empire. During the attack, churches and scriptures were to be destroyed
and the rights of Christians were taken away (Euseb. H.E.). Then, following a Christian rebellion in
Syria, Diocletian had all clergy imprisoned due to this rebellion proving the Christians as a physical
threat. Also, the execution of more than two hundred Christians at Nicomedia occurred because of the
out lash in Syria. Finally, a order of people to make a sacrifice to Roman gods was established, but
received resistance from Christians despite imprisonment and torture. Although the events in this
persecution were the most gruesome, the Empire did not have the ability to wipe out the Christians via
purge due to the Christian growth that had occurred over the four

Satan as a Hero Essay
John Milton s Paradise Lost is an epic poem that describes the fall of Satan and the expulsion of Adam
and Eve from Paradise. Satan is the protagonist of Paradise Lost and has several characteristics in
which readers may identify with him. Throughout the poem, Satan is not only a tragic hero but also
the key character that drives the plot and portrays many flawed human qualities. As an angel fallen
from the high esteem of God and a possessor of hubris that leads to his downfall, he represents a tragic
hero but also a character in which readers may identify with. Following the standards of classic tragic
heroes, Satan is a determined leader with an extreme amount of hubris. He knows that God is the most
powerful being and yet he still ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Satan is so high in his own esteem; he cannot bear to be a servant and must be a leader, as he says in
Book I, Better to reign in Hell, than serve in Heav n (line 263). Satan is indeed Hurled headlong
flaming from th ethereal sky (Book I, line 45) and into Hell where he will live in fire. But as a leader,
and a true protagonist, Satan chooses to accept his situation and rise as a hero for the pack of fallen
angels he has led from Heaven. Even if God is his enemy, at least he is not serving anyone. He
possesses his own heaven now, though not joyful and happy as the heaven he was just expelled from,
Farewell happy fields/Where joy for ever dwells: hail horrors, hail/Infernal world, .../ Receive thy new
possessor (Book I, lines 249 253). Satan makes Hell his Heaven with his mind, as he says, The mind is
its own place, and in itself/Can make a Heav n of Hell, a Hell of Heav n (Book I, lines 254 255). Satan
acknowledges that he has made a Hell of his previous Heaven, but he also uses that reasoning to make
Hell into his own Heaven. His anti heroic qualities are apparent, though, when he tells his followers in
Book I, To do aught good never will be our task/ But ever to do ill our soul delight (lines 159 160). It
cannot be forgotten that Satan is evil by his creation and through his free will. God created Satan with
all of his imperfections but makes it clear that he had a choice by

Cold American Political System
The antagonists in the political systems of the Soviet Union and North America during the cold war

Date
The relationship which existed during the cold war between North America and the Soviet Union was
majorly based on the different ideologies of the different nations, the political grounds and the
difference in the economic factors. Upto date the cooperation of the two great nations are guided with
a lot of caution and also there exists a lot of bitter rivalry between the two nations too. The difference
in the political systems which existed in the two countries led to the differences in most of the core
policies implementation issues. During the cold war, the difference in the policies which existed
between the two nations led to the creation of the Cuban missile crisis which made the two nations
come to war.
The different in the political ideologies during the cold war was caused by the hostility of the United
States of America to the soviet leaders because they had withdrawn Russia from participating in the
World War 1. Also the difference in political ideologies like the use of two different economic ... Show

The bitter American leaders made the antagonism to increase between the two nations because they
had supported a lot of activities which were not in line with human rights. The cold war period opened
up the American leaders and the soviet leaders which created a stronger relationship between the two
countries. Different political systems made the two sides to have different believes on the operations
which took place in bringing harmony among the other nations. Tension was high which made the
cold war successful but later between 1989 1991 the Soviet Union failed in the use of communism
system. This led to increased ties between the two nations whereby they became friendly to each

The Corporate Side Of American Public Education And The...
Diane Ravitch explores the corporate side of American public education and the reformists misled
beliefs that the school system is in crisis. The school reforms in place are disguised as a means of
improving public education, when in reality it has become an objective to replace public education
with a privately managed, free market system of schooling (Ravitch, p.4). Diane Ravitch supports her
claim that the reformation movement has poor intentions with multiple sources of evidence. Among
these facts she uncovers the truth behind test scores and the achievement gap. Furthermore, Ravitch
exposes how the reform movement is a back door way to privatize schooling with monetary motives
in mind. In response to these problems, Diane ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Another reality that Diane Ravitch sheds light on is the misconstrued theories about the achievement
gap. Reformers often say that African American and Hispanic students have not made progress for
decades (Ravitch, p.55). However, after looking at the data from NAEP, it is evident that this assertion
by the reformers just simply is not true. Rather, these students have shown dramatic increases in math.
Many do not recognize this though because white achievement has also improved which keeps the gap
at large. (Ravitch, p.56) Throughout different grades, African Americans and Hispanics have shown
remarkable progress in mathematics. There has been improvement in reading as well, just not as
dramatic as the progress shown in math. Ravitch states, Today s reformers often imply that schools
alone can close the achievement gaps among different groups. The like to point to exemplary charter
schools with high test scores to prove their point (Ravitch, p.59). While the belief that a charter school
could bridge the achievement gap and overcome the disadvantages of poverty, it simply is not a
realistically feasible concept. Thomas B. Timar of the University of California states, Yet the gap is
the symptom of larger social, economic and political problems that go far beyond the reach of the
school... While schools are part of the solution, they alone cannot solve the problem of educational
disparities (Ravitch, p.60). Timar calls society to take action by

Watching This Is England Directed By Shane Meadows
Upon watching This is England directed by Shane Meadows initial thoughts that went through my
head were this movie is excellent. This genre of this film can be described as drama, there are many
emotions this film highlights such as, jealousy and anger. For the purpose of reviewing this film the
main things to consider are plot, reliability, acting, and social relevance. We have a plot that is deep
with a well written storyline with meaning for a variety of audiences. The film is edited in a way there
is no point in the film where the viewer is left confused as to what the meaning of something is. The
characters made you feel as if you were present in the moment with each of them. You have to
consider all the thought and effort which went into production of this film to appreciate This is
England.
This film covers many aspects of sociology, we as the viewer are confronted with issues such as
racism and peer pressure. The other main character is Combo, he is introduced as a recently released
convict that has some bold nationalistic beliefs. As the movie goes on the viewer is given the
impression that psychologically, Combo has some deep rooted issues that he has not confronted. This
issues play into his nationalistic views of the world, he appears to act out his anger among other
feelings with his behavior. Combo also has sociopathic traits, which when viewing the movie was
quite disturbing to watch. Combo took a liking to Shaun in the beginning because he was an easy

Planet of the Apes Essay
Planet of the Apes
When Planet of the Apes opened in theaters, few people knew what to expect. To most, the idea of a
movie with the premise of a planet full of intelligent apes went against everything they had been
taught. The initial attraction was the superb cast, spearheaded by Charlton Heston who portrays
Taylor, an astronaut who crashes onto the planet. Heston was joined by many popular actors and
actress such as, Roddy McDowell as Cornelius, Maurice Evans as Dr. Zaius and Kim Hunter as Zira.
Though the cast may have been the initial draw, the content is what has made the movie Planet of the
Apes a classic that will continue to be enjoyed for generations to come.
The movie Planet of the Apes deals with a great number of issues that ... Show more content on

To us, having one individual controlling both seems not only preposterous, but also dangerous. The
American mind immediately concludes that a system such as this will lead to stagnation in science,
and close mindedness in religion.
In Planet of the Apes this stagnation does occur. When a young upstart scientist named Cornelius tries
to attack the religiously based view of life in his society he is brought up on charges of heresy.
Cornelius merely attempted to state that he had found evidence that apes had evolved from man.
Defender of the faith Dr. Zaius then quickly ended the hearings and threatened Cornelius with charges
of hearsay. This is a direct link to our own past. Charles Darwin challenged religions view on the
origins of life in the 1800 s, and frighteningly similar things occurred to him.
This is what Planet of the Apes attempts to do, and accomplishes so thoroughly. It mirrors things that
have happened in our own world, yet portrays them in a way that makes humanity s own shortcomings
more palatable. Yet, there are two ways of interpreting the lessons the film teaches. On one level,
Planet of the Apes blatantly warns individuals not to repeat the past. While on another level, the
director could be interpreted to be stating subtly that we did not learn from our past and are therefore
doomed to repeat it. These interpretations wholly depend on the individual seeing the film.

Therefore, hunting or consumption is not an adequate distinction between game and non game species. Saddling a horse if actually really easy they just need to know how to do it. This is how to put a saddle on a horse. First, before they can do anything else is to go and catch the horse. When they go to catch the horse they will need a halter. When they catch the horse they will have to go to the horse stall and tie him up. Finally they are able to start the saddling process. First they will need to get a brush and brush all the dirt of him. The reason they need to brush him off is because if they saddle him with dirt still on him it will make the saddle uncomfortable, and this will increase the chance of him bucking ... • 4. Socialist Party Research Paper It would be safe to say that in a perfect world, Utopian Communities would be ideal. The Socialist Party was fueled by the idea of Utopian Communities, in which communities possessed highly desirable or perfect qualities. Is this a realistic concept? Most would say no; it is impossible to create a perfect society, where there are no problems, as human nature does not allow this. People would try to construct utopies on earth via ideologies such as communism. Communism, as we know, is a political theory derived from Karl Marx, advocating class war and leading to a society in which all property is publicly owned and each person works and is paid according to their abilities and needs. The Socialist Party would form strong alliances with a number of labor organizations, because of their similar goals. In an attempt to rebel against the abuses of corporation workers, they believed they had found a solution in a technique of collective bargaining. They banded together in unions and by ... The day after Congress declared war on Germany (April 7, 1917), the Socialist Party began holding anti draft demonstrations, declaring the war a crime against the people of the United States of America. This alone is mind boggling, because nevermind having to worry about going to war with another country, but now there is a civil war happening on U.S. soil, preventing the younger men that the U.S. needed to defend our country from actually performing that role. In 1919, the Communist Labor party was formed and would soon combine with the Socialist Labor Party as the Communist Party of the United States of America. Through the years, this party would grow to maintain a membership of over 50,000 until the 1950 s, when the party began its steady ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The conflict between the two realms has existed for many centuries, but there are some misconceptions associated with the conflict history. The Galileo Affair is known by many as the pivital proof that religions shun and mistreat scientific findings. Ernan McMullin provided an excellent article about the events that occured within the Galileo Affair. Most individuals misinterpret the situation due to the powerful Catholic Church trying to prevent Galileo from sharing his findings. The truth is that the Galileo Affair was not a science vs. religion battle, instead it was science vs. science. The following summary of the Galileo is from McMullin s article. According to a presentation, the author states, Media perceives women in a very sexual manner whereas men are symbolized as powerful (Khan). Over and over again, the one thing that the media reveals is that women are very sexual beings. They show that they are only good for taking care of the home and the man is very powerful. For example, the author on the presentation shows a ad that a man is in a life guard outfit with him having muscles which portrays him to look like a hero. On the other side there is a picture of a woman who looks stressed with babies all around her crying with both her hands full. One side she is holding a math test with a F on it and the other side is holding a pot full of baby bottles (Khan). However, the ecosystem can be threatened when there is an excess or drop in resources. Many people will argue that human beings are the primary cause of this economic imbalance but are people the root of this problem? No. There is evidence that invasive species all over the country has also threatened our ecosystem. Invasive species are any living organism such a plants, fungus, insects, and fish just to name a few. Invasive species pose a threat to wildlife in many ways. Because these three gods favored Iddin Dagan, he was able to have a successful ruling, filled with abundance of agriculture, a population increase, and a strong military presence. • 40. The Execution Of Bardolph In Film 1. The execution of Bardolph in Act 3 scene 6 is a rather important scene. When King Henry and the Duke of Gloucester enter the scene Fluellen tells them that the Duke of Exeter fought heroically. King Henry asks about the casualties of the battle, Fluellen tells him that there was only one Bardolph. Fluellen notifies Henry that he shall soon to be hanged for robbing a church. The reason for this for his swift execution is because Henry gave a speech mandating his soldiers conduct themselves in the highest of manners: We give express charge, that in our marches through the country, there be nothing compelled from the villages, nothing taken but paid for, [and] none of the French upbraided or abused in disdainful language; ... To us, having one individual controlling both seems not only preposterous, but also dangerous. The American mind immediately concludes that a system such as this will lead to stagnation in science, and close mindedness in religion. In Planet of the Apes this stagnation does occur. When a young upstart scientist named Cornelius tries to attack the religiously based view of life in his society he is brought up on charges of heresy. Cornelius merely attempted to state that he had found evidence that apes had evolved from man. Defender of the faith Dr. Zaius then quickly ended the hearings and threatened Cornelius with charges of hearsay. This is a direct link to our own past. Charles Darwin challenged religions view on the origins of life in the 1800 s, and frighteningly similar things occurred to him. This is what Planet of the Apes attempts to do, and accomplishes so thoroughly.
