• After using all these techniques, still there’s a lot of
room for further improvement.
• This is fulfilled by adaptive optics.
• Adaptive optics utilizes a secondary mirror that changes
shape rapidly to compensate for atmospheric turbulence
and allows telescopes to approach diffraction limit.
