The Roaring Twenties By F. Scott Fitzgerald
The Roaring Twenties were a time of leisure and parties. The media and events surrounding this time
period greatly impacted the carefree, extravagant lifestyle. This era was one of the most dramatic and
energetic times in American history. To many, the symbols of the roaring Twenties were F. Scott
Fitzgerald and his wife, due to their tales of the young and the wealthy (Hanson 96). The Roaring
Twenties influenced many literary works, throughout the 1920s such as F. Scott Fitzgerald s The Great
Gatsby and This Side of Paradise.
At the start of the 1920s, prohibition had just begun, banning the purchase, sale, and manufacture of
alcohol. This actually had adverse effects as people began to make their own alcohol and sell it
illegally (Hanson 96). World War I had also recently ended, and soldiers were coming home to a
recession in the U.S. The end of the war meant a drop in government spending and exports. Business
bankruptcies tripled between 1919 and 1920. Many businesses were forced to cut wages and lay off
workers (McDonnell 296). As the 1920 recession came to an end, Americans had more leisure time
and money to spare (353). By 1922 the economy had fully rebounded and there was even a shortage of
workers (319). World War I fueled the fire of American s suspicions of foreigners (McDonnell 296).
The Red Scare had Americans paralyzed by the fear of a possible communist infiltration (301). Along
with foreign intolerance, racial intolerance broke out due to wartime migration

Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Summary
I chose to summarize this review article to understand the reasons behind exercising a patient with
hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM). Prior to the reading, my knowledge of stress echos only
covered the bases of diagnosing coronary artery disease. This review focuses on the patients
subjective complaints and its correlation with sudden death from HCM. It s common for us to see
patient with HCM and to preform valsalva maneuvers to check for LVOT obstruction with increased
velocities. However, a new understanding leads me to believe that preforming a valsalva maneuver at
rest may not always cause an obstruction of the LVOT. In this review study, to get a better
understanding of patients with HCM, they now stress the patients to evaluate LVOT

American Culture In The Namesake, By Jhumpa Lahiri
Culture is not just about race, family background, and inheritance. It is bigger than that. Characters
and actor s choice are significant to present this. Characters used in the book and movie relates. When
I was reading the book, I had an idea of how Ashima, Gogol, Ashoke looks. Most of those ideas were
true. I thought Gogol would be better looking and darker shade skin. Ashima is exactly what I thought
she would look like. Ashoke is shown as this perfect husband, dad a provider. A lot of Gogol s
character is understood as it foreshadows when Gogol was six months old and during his Rice
Ceremony, Gogol had to choose between a dollar, a pen, and dirt. Each represents a different
profession in the future. As it suggests to the future, Gogol doesn t choose none of them and cries. We
see the same thing when he is an adult, he chooses to embrace the culture he grew up in, American
Culture even thought he struggled to respect both cultures that are polar opposites of each other.
The novel The Namesake written by Jhumpa Lahiri writes about the struggle and hardships of a
Bengali couple who immigrate to the US from India to create a lifestyle outside of everything they
have known all their lives. The story begins as Ashoke marries Ashima and brings her to the
Massachusetts. Their first child s name is Gogol, which they didn t intend on naming initially but
because of different mistakes, Gogol has officially become his name. This book/film gave a pleasant
insight into identity

M1: Explain, with examples, how different market research methods are appropriate to assist different
marketing situations. Looking back at the market research methods that could be used to collect
information, methods such as questionnaires/ survey, observation, focus groups, experimentation,

from the ones I have written about. I have chosen 3 primary researches which are: Focus groups
Surveys
Observation
I have chosen 3 secondary researches which are:

I could also use focus groups in the NHS to find out information about ways to improve the efficiency,
equity, effectiveness and quality of health care services they provide. After carrying out the focus
group, the NHS is left with a lot of qualitative data which is good as it is full of details and
information on ways to improve the educational leaflets however the data has to be compared and
recorded based on the views and opinions of people that represent their target population which is not
easy to do. In order to make comparisons, the NHS needs large samples of information because they
want good qualitative answers to make comparisons and also to evaluate the service they provide,
however a focus group is likely to present a small sample of information for the NHS but if the focus
group is representative it will generate good accurate results. However the NHS may need a large
sample so using a focus group may not be suitable. As head of human resources, I have been asked by

teachers to see the ways they teach so that it can be incorporated to the ways other teachers teach.

Atherosclerotic Plaque Formation
3) In 4 6 sentences, describe the process of atherosclerotic plaque formation. 6 pts for response, 2 pt
for source: To begin with, cells create atherosclerotic deposits, and these deposits arise on vessel
walls. This is formed when LDL deposits tend to become stuck in the matrix, and they undergo
oxidation and glycation. Macrophages then feast on LDL s, becoming fueled with fatty droplets. If
there is an inflammatory disease, this can cause more growth of plaque, and a fibrous cap or the lipid
core is established. Then, foam cells weaken the caps by digesting matrix molecules, which then leads
to the damage of smooth muscle, resulting in the inability to repair the cap. If a clot is big enough, the

Anarchy vs. Autocracy
Anarchy v. Autocracy
Liberty vs. Security; both are seemingly broad terms, but due to current events, circumstances have
occured resulting in an infringement on liberty because of issues regarding national security thus,
creating problems for citizens and politicians alike. Liberty is best defined as a concept that identifies
the condition in which an individual has the right to act according to his/her free will[1]. Security is
the degree of protection from danger, loss, or criminals[2]. The problem lies in that there are many
different views on what the government s role on the proper balance between the two should be. The
proper balance between liberty and security is an equilibrium unless in specific events or time periods
where ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In certain events, extreme security is needed, and should be completely justified. In order to establish
what is right or wrong without corruption, the public should have the final say on what needs to
happen because they are ultimately the ones who will be affected by these new enforcements. Similar
to presidential elections, a national vote should happen during a time of peace, on what precautions
the government needs to take during these stressful time periods. The purpose of the election is to get
an adequate sample of what the citizens believe their ratio of security to liberty is. A difference would
be the removal of the Electoral College. Instead of having the views censored by elected officials, it
needs to be the raw wishes of the population. The significance of having it during peace time would be
that during emergencies, people get frantic and desperate. Decisions would inevitably be clouded by
fear and overall craziness. Ben Franklin once said that, Passion never governs wisely, and this
certainly holds true to a person s reaction during war or difficult moments. However, the government
will react to what the people want, and will come up with laws or actions that would be beneficial to
our society. For example, Document G is a political cartoon that is about the US Patriot Act. In it, Clay

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, About one in three U.S. kids are
overweight or obese . This shows that unhealthy lunches can lead to obesity because the food they are
getting for lunch has too many calories. So if the students eat healthy the number of students
overweight will go down. If kids eat unhealthy, they are most likely obese and that can lead to health
problems, including heart disease. According to the text, In 2009, a group of former military leaders

Compare And Contrast The Geography Of The Anasazis
The geography of where the Anasazis lived was raised areas of land with flat tops called plateaus,
different from mountains that have a jagged top. The area where the Toltecs lived was very similar to
the Anasazi. It was semi arid meaning that there was very little rain. The Anasazis lived on the
Colorado Plateau and goes through the four corner regions Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, and
Colorado. For the Anasazis, the summer was very hot, very dry, and it barely rained.
The Toltecs economy depended on agriculture and conquest. They depended on several different
plants and crops to survive, so the Toltecs used beans, squash, and cacti to trade goods with other
civilization. Besides that, most of what the Toltecs traded with was the artwork

Institutional Sexism In The Workplace
The U.S. is known to have many issues in its society including racism and sexism. There have been
laws that were made in attempt to stop discrimination against color but to this day, women still aren t
seen as equals to men. Institutional sexism is the discrimination of a certain gender at a workplace.
Sexism is portrayed in the differences between the number of men versus the number of females that
have management positions, get higher pay, have more opportunities for advancement and, are more
likely to get hired. This oppression against women can impact lives of many women emotionally,
mentally, and physically. Sexism also leads to sexual violence and domestic violence because the idea
that women and men are unequal causes women to be taken advantage of at home, at work, and
everywhere else. Institutional sexism is a topic that needs to be talked about more because the U.S.
needs have a law that doesn t allow sexual discrimination anywhere. Institutional sexism in the
workplace is an ongoing issue nationally and internationally that takes advantage of women and their
work that needs to stop.
There are many industries and working fields where women weren t trusted to be leaders when
compared to men. The healthcare field has been filled with women for a while yet most of the
leadership positions are mostly occupied with men. Men are more likely to have leadership positions
in both men and female dominated fields (Stamarski and Son Hing 2015). Women face this

Restaurants may be classified or distinguished in many different ways. The primary factors are usually
the food itself (e.g. vegetarian, seafood, steak); the cuisine (e.g. Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Indian,

factors including speed, formality, location, cost, service, or novelty themes (such as automated

people working nearby, with simple food served in simple settings at low prices, to expensive
establishments serving refined food and fine wines in a formal setting. In the former case, customers

Adr In Family Law Case Analysis
Critically analyse whether ADR methods such as mediation offer a better forum for resolving family
law disputes than the courts, thus providing greater access to justice:
Alternative Dispute Resolution has become one of the most central and significant changes to the
family law system since the 1980 s with the emergence of mediation as an alternative form of
achieving justice. The main form of ADR used in family law is family mediation, and is now known
in Australia as family dispute resolution (FDR). The concept was first introduced as a means to reduce
conflict, improve communication and co parental cooperation, produce better agreements in less time
and expense and lead to more compliance with agreements (Kelly 1996 373). Since the first ... Show

Only 1.5% of ATSI families use the FDR services. The AIFS evaluation of 2006 family law reforms
has shown that many practitioners lack the confidence when engaging with CALD and Indigenous

culturally specific or appropriate services by providers and the lack of trust in mediation services.
Furthermore CALD face many communication barriers and culturally differences. There is clearly
greater need for family dispute practitioners to address issues of cultural competency. The NADRAC
2009 has suggested that culturally appropriate practices are essential to better engage with the local
CALD and ATSI populations. Culturally reflexive practices may help enhance the responsiveness to
cultural contexts of families in dispute resolution. Furthermore employing FDR practitioners, who

Polyphemus Is An Improper Host Of Odysseus
The Odyssey written by Homer is a classic tale of Odysseus s lengthy journey home to Ithaca. The
story includes many positive and negative examples of proper behavior of a host to his guest. A proper
host would have three main qualities. These qualities are being respectful to their guest, offering them
a place to stay, and providing them with food. Odysseus, being the guest, has encountered many hosts
on his journey with very different personalities.
Polyphemus is a more negative and improper host with a bad quality of eating Odysseus s crew. When
Odysseus is first greeted by Polyphemus on a island home to cyclopes, two men of Odysseus s crew
are eaten and Odysseus and the rest are trapped with Polyphemus. The men couldn t leave and became
food for the cyclops. Eventually, they devised a plan to escape and leave the island. Seeking revenge,
Polyphemus asked his father, Poseidon, to make sure that Odysseus never returns home. Polyphemus
is not a very polite host eating and attacking his guests. He does not exhibit proper behavior as a host.

Western Civilization and Happiness and Justice
How can Western Civilization avert decline and promote happiness and justice? In a world of political
and celebrity scandals from the raunchy to the greedy, our culture is full of corruption and an
obsession with fame. Henrik Ibsen s Hedda Gabler and Sylvia Plath s The Colossus both explore the
West s moral blindness and our paralysis of feeling and thought in the twentieth century. Western
civilization is becoming a wildfire fueled by tragic ignorance, societal norms and corruption. This
must be exposed in order for any cultural epiphany to occur.
Judge Brack is the definition of the colossus in Hedda Gabler. He is someone people trust and build up
to be an honorable and insightful leader, but in the end he is a vulgar and immoral individual full of
Dionysian corruption, and lacking any apollonian qualities. Brack throws frequent stag parties that
eventually evolve into wild nights of debauchery. He and the men he invite drink and participate in
orgies. While at night he is an unrefined sexual animal, during the day he is the definition of justice
and trust. During his interactions with Hedda he reveals his deep misogynistic beliefs and his sense of
power over her. Instead of letting her display her power through her pistols, he treats her like a child
telling her that we ll have no more of that kind of fun today, (249). He knows that she feels trapped in

The Use Of Port Injection Gasoline With Direct Injection...
Therefore, natural gas has a tremendous potential to be used in CI engines effectively based on the
RCCI concept. Operating a CI engine in the RCCI mode has become possible as the result of new fuel
system technology and engine controls. The high octane number fuel used in the literature is often
gasoline or ethanol. The U.S. Department of Energy has devoted significant resources to its national
laboratories to investigate the practical applications of port injection gasoline with direct injection
diesel fuel, as seen in recent publications from Oak Ridge16,25, Sandia39, and Argonne National
Labs17. Because of the lean gasoline air mixture in the CI engine cylinder, its lower combustion
temperature can reduce engine heat loss, increase fuel efficiency (up to ∟45%), and decrease exhaust
pollution. European institutions are also actively exploring gasoline as a CI engine fuel65. Of the
passenger cars in Europe, 45% use CI engines due to the efficiency advantage. On the basis of this
dual fuel concept, various fuel injection schemes and piston geometries have been tested74. One study
even used a single fuel stock, gasoline, for both port injection and direct injection but added a cetane
improver, 2 ethylhexyl nitrate (EHN), to the direct injection fuel stream to enable autoignition31.
These successes suggest that it would of great interest to investigate such dual fuel operations using
two fuels with vastly different reactivity. However, existing studies are predominantly

My Career Path
Life works in mysterious ways, and my path has led me to pursue a career in the Social Work field.
My last two years of high school were unique because I was a full time dual enrolled student, which
allowed me to graduate with both my high school diploma and my Associate of Arts degree. Now I am
twenty years old and will be graduating with my Bachelor s in Psychology. Upon entering my
undergraduate program, I had some idea of what career path I wanted to follow. I had taken many
entry level psychology courses while pursuing my Associate of Arts degree and it peaked my interest.
At first, I wanted to be a guidance counselor and then I contemplated being a mental health counselor.
It was not until I took a course the first year of my undergraduate career that I knew my future career
path. The course I took was Issues in Culture and Society with a concentration in Death and Dying. In
that class, I learned how beautiful death can be and how important it is for someone to have a good
death. The class also gave me information on grieving for all ages and how to help individuals
experiencing grief and this is when I decided to become a bereavement counselor. My mother died
when I was seven and I had to grieve in silence, so I want to help others with their grief, so they do not
have a similar experience to mine.
In order to accomplish my aspiration as a bereavement counselor, I knew I needed to gain experience

Essay on Life Along the Silk Road
Susan Whitfield writes Life along the Silk Road based on character stories occurring between the
eight and tenth century, all living at different times. She writes this history for several reasons. First,
she writes it to change the negative perception of the history of Central Asia that we know through the
annals of its neighbors. By explaining the history of the region through the eyes of its own occupants,
it rids the history of any distorted views from neighboring civilizations. She uses the comparison of
trying to examine the life of the Atlantic Ocean by studying the ecology of Europe. Another perception
Whitfield attempts to overcome is that of the present day Silk Road. Today, it is largely Islam, and it is
occupied by Turkic ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
All of these stories give accounts of what life was like on the Silk Road. The Soldier s Tale is a very
bloody account of what life was like. For twenty five years, Seg Lhaton, a Tibetan soldier, had been at
battle. The Silk Road was his home during this time. The Tibetan army controlled a large region of the
Silk Road between Sogdiana and China. They blocked all trade and diplomatic missions through that
region. They only way trade could persist was to go another route through Uighur territory. They,
however, charged tolls for safe passage. China and Tibet were at war for years. Many battles were
fought that resulted in much blood shed. The story of these battles gives a better insight as to what
happened, rather than simply spitting out facts about who won. Whitefield also uses this story to
describe some of the harsh conditions along the road. She mentioned that at some points water was
extremely scarce. However, at other times there were major floods that acted as major barriers. Often
dividing the Chinese from the Tibetans, and postponing a battle. There was also a story about a
Chinese officer who lost his foot to frostbite while traveling through the mountains. In the end of the
story, Seg Lhaton has to travel over 1,500 miles to get back to his home. The Princess s Tale shows a
lot of the harsh conditions that one would face when traveling on the Silk Road. Princess Taihe

Essay about The History of the Antitrust Laws
In the 1800 s there were several businesses known as trusts. These trusts owned the entire industry.
Railroads, sugar, oil, and steel were some of the major products that were controlled by these trusts.
U.S. Steel and Standard Oil were two big companies that were famous for controlling their product
and the industry it was a part of. The oil industry was an easy industry to be monopolized because the
deposits were rare. The Standard Oil Company was incorporated by John D. Rockefeller in Ohio in
1870. At the time, the refining business was highly competitive, and Standard Oil had more than 250
competitors. Rockefeller and his associates took advantage of both the scarcity of oil and the returns
produced from it to lay down a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
U.S. Steel stayed at a stand still in improvement as minor companies consumed more and more of its
market share.
The trusts set the price because they had no competitors. The prices of the products went sky high.
This was a good thing for the business but a terrible thing for the American public. The products did
not have to be the best because only one company was producing them; so the consumer either paid
the puffed up price or went without. America pushed the government to make a change. President
Theodore Roosevelt enforced the Antitrust Laws which stopped many businesses from controlling the
entire market. It allowed for more competition in the market. The U.S. constitution passed several
laws to encourage competition by banning unjust ways of competition.
The antitrust laws ban unlawful mergers and business practices in broad terms, leaving courts to
choose which ones are illegal based on the details of each case. Courts have applied the antitrust laws
to varying markets, from a time of picking blackberries to texting on them. Yet for over one hundred
years, the antitrust laws have had the same fundamental purpose: to keep the practice of competition
for the benefit of customers, making sure there are strong incentives for businesses to function
efficiently, keep prices down, and keep quality up.
Trusts and monopolies are a lot of riches in the hands of a few. Trusts and monopolies are considered

The Joint Commission has instituted a number of goals nationally; the aim is to improve patient s
safety. The goals selected look at areas that are of concern in the healthcare industry particularly how
it affect patients safety and make recommendations how to reduce if not eradicated these. The Joint
Commission is the governing body that accredited hospitals and other health care organizations. The
two hospitals that this paper will be comparing, using the goals and criteria recommended by the Joint
commission, is Holy Cross Hospital located at 1500 Forest Glen Road, Silver Spring, MD and Shady
Grove Hospital situated at, 9901 Medical Center Drive, Rockville, MD.
The goals set by the Joint commission are:
1. Improve the accuracy of patient identification. The recommendation is for all healthcare providers
to institute a policy of using at least two patient identifiers when providing care, treatment, and
services. This goal has two objectives, one to verify the individual as the person for whom the service
or treatment for and to match the service or treatment to that individual.
2. Improve communication effectiveness among caregivers. The objective is to provide the responsible
licensed caregiver these results within an established period so that the patient can receive treatment in
a timely manner.

The Doctrine Of The Trinity
The word Trinity cannot be found in the bible, but neither can omnipresent or omniscient; yet they all
describe the Biblical expression of who God is and how he is revealed to humanity. Furthermore, the
doctrine of the Trinity is so crucial to Christianity, that if it was removed Christianity would crumble
and fall into cult status. Even through the doctrine of the Trinity took almost a three hundred to be
formally stated at the Council of Nicea (325) and the Council of Constantople (381);1 Roger Olsen
points out that all one has to do is read second and third century church fathers such as Athenagoras,
Tertullian, Irenaeus, Origen or Cyprian to see immediately that Christians believed in the Trinity long
before Constantine called all the Christian bishops to the first ecumenical council at Nicea in 325. 2
Thereby, this makes the doctrine of the Trinity part of the Great Tradition of Christian Belief for
almost 2000 years.3 Specifically; the Trinity is God who is three distinct entities Father, Son and Holy
Spirit. Neither is elevated above the other, rather they exist in perfect unity. The evidence supporting
the Trinity can been seen clearly in Scripture, has been affirmed by all branches of Christianity and
deeply contrasts all other concepts, such as modalism, Arianism and tritheism. First of all, the clearest
display of the Trinity, in the Bible is in the baptism of Christ. The three synoptic Gospel writers,
Matthew, Mark and Luke, all point to Jesus being in the

Organisms Of Two Unknown Bacterial Cultures Essay
Introduction The objective of this experiment is to identify the organisms of two unknown bacterial
cultures. Students must identify the species of the unknown bacteria by utilizing the techniques and
information learned in previous laboratory exercises. These techniques include streaking for isolation,
Gram staining, and specific biochemical tests. Students are given a map known as a dichotomous key,
a guide in determining the identity of their unknown sample.
Identifying microbes using a series of biochemical tests, like those performed by students, is used in a
clinical settings for several important reasons other than taxonomy. It is used to determine
susceptibility to antimicrobial drugs, gain information for future treatments, identify pathogens in
terms of their potential danger, aid epidemiologists in tracing sources of infections, and to accumulate
data of interest to those studying infectious diseases (Tortora, G. J., Funke, B. R., Case, C. L., 2016).

Minoan Curricular
The horns of a bull appear as a reoccurring theme in Minoan cultic practices and images. The term
horns of consecration was an expression given to these symbols by Sir Arthur Evans to describe the
ever present images of horns in Minoan sanctuaries, architecture, and art. Religion played a major role
in Minoan society with animal sacrifices, music, dance and prayer occurring in caves, on mountain
peaks, and in local villas. A central part of the festivals was the sacrificing of a bull to signify the
connection of man to nature. Peak sanctuaries first give rise to the image of horns, but as palaces
became popular, the adoption of horns helped legitimize the palace s power. The horns of consecration
played a major role in Minoan culture, but ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However, one theory claims the horns have no connection to the bull at all, but rather the horns are a
derivative of the Egyptian symbol illustrating the horizon and mountains. In 1934, Joseph Hazzidakis
published his research on the villas at Tylissos and his discovery of four different Minoan horns.
Along with this discovery, Hazzidakis also paralleled the shape of the horns to the Egyptian symbol of
the horizon. Additionally, Hazzidakis references the seal stone found at Chania, published by Evans,
as depicting a divine image due to a male figure shown floating over the horns of consecration with a
winged goat and a daemon on his sides which can be seen in figure 3. Hazzidakis claims the lack of a
rendering of a sun deity in Minoan art because the deity may be so common that a depiction was
unnecessary for the Minoans. Instead, the image of the horns signified the deity and therefore no
images of a sun deity were ever created. Yet, Hazzidakis was not the only one to theorize the
correlation between the Egyptian symbol and the Minoan horns of consecration. Watrous and
MacGillivary also made similar interpretations of the evidence, but none of these ideas had any effect
on scholarly articles until recently (Banou 2008

Romeo And Juliet Essay On Death
Throughout the play Romeo and Juliet, Shakespeare shows Romeo s infatuation with two things:
death, and Juliet, one overpowering the other. Romeo is suicidal; everything related to eternal rest
peaks his interest. Juliet causes Romeo to die which reveals that Juliet did what death itself could not.
She helped Romeo forget about the harsh realities of the world, whereas death allowed Romeo an
option in the end where he could be alongside his one and only true love. Whether it be in hell or
heaven, Romeo would have followed Juliet anywhere. Despite Romeo s obsession with death, his
constant references to Juliet suggests that it is not true. From the first time Romeo lays his eyes on
Juliet, he was entranced by her beauty and falls in love ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I am content, so thou wilt have it so/Come, death, and welcome! Juliet wills it so (3.5.17 18 and 24).
Romeo is content with dying if Juliet wills it so. This brings light to the fact that Romeo does not
worry about himself or about anything other than Juliet when he is with her. When he goes to Mantua,
Romeo quickly becomes depressed. He complains that, heaven is here, where Juliet lives, and every
cat and dog and little mouse, every unworthy thing, live here in heaven and may look on her, but
Romeo may not (3.3.29 32). Romeo reveals that anywhere outside Verona is a place of purgatory if the
unworthiest of creatures are able to gaze upon Juliet s beauty while he is stuck in Mantua. As a result,
he believes that the banishment is worse than dying as he is tortured by the fact that he may never be
able to see her again without the risk of being killed. The only way for Romeo to be together with
Juliet is through the means of dying. As Romeo heard of Juliet s deceasement, he rushes to go to
Verona despite the evident threat to his life, with poison, to kill himself alongside Juliet. He kills
himself just before Juliet woke up. Juliet then kills herself so that they may be together in the afterlife
regardless of if it is hell or heaven. Suicide is considered an utmost sin in Christianity and by killing
himself, he rescinded his beliefs and religion to be with the one he loved. They both revoke their
religion in order to be with each other, neither of them caring

An Introduction To Admittance And Impedance
#1:
Immitance is a general term to describe admittance and impedance. Impedance is the measure of
opposition to energy flow (sound) into the ear at the plane of the tympanic membrane. Admittance is
the total energy flow through the vibrating system. Immitance audiometry is a test battery using
acoustic impedance or acoustic admittance to estimate hearing sensitivity and function of the middle
ear system. Impedance is typically measured as compliance now. Tympanometry is the test battery for
measuring the compliance of the ear in equivalent volume across a range of pressures. It provides an
estimation of hearing sensitivity and middle ear function in relation to ear canal volume, compliance,
and middle ear pressure.

If the pressure is not within that range, it could suggest Eustachian tube dysfunction.
The compliance, or mobility, of the tympanic membrane is also noted as a tympanometric compliance
value. Compliance is measure in cubic centimeters (cc) or milliliters (ml). The point on the pressure
scale where the maximum compliance occurs is essentially equal to middle ear pressure of the ear
tested and is known as the point of maximum compliance. The peak compliance should be within the
range of .2 cc to 2.0 cc. If the compliance is considerably lower than .2 cc, it may lead to a diagnosis
of tympanosclerosis or otosclerosis; however, if it is much higher than 2.0 cc, it may imply ossicular
disarticulation or a hypermobile tympanic membrane.
Compliance is plotted over a range of pressures on a tympanogram. There are five possible types of
tympanograms that may result from the test: type A, type As, type Ad, type B, and type C. A type A
tympanogram suggests a normal conductive system functioning. The peak pressure is noted within the
normal range ( 150 daPA to 50 daPa) and the point of maximum compliance occurs within a normal
range (.2 cc to 2.0 cc), as well. The ECV should also fall between .65 cc and 1.75 cc. There is no
indication of a middle ear pathology if a client receives a type A tympanogram. It is important to note
that this test battery is not designed to detect a sensorineural hearing loss, because it solely reports
outer and middle ear functioning.

Who isn t familiar with Brian O Conner, the ex cop yet beloved brother of Dominic Toretto? Yes, this
is dealing with Fast and Furious Paul Walker. Before Fast and Furious, Paul Walker had been a part of
everything from Highway to Heaven to The Skulls. Many people are not aware of this, though. Could
this have been what set the bar for his dominant and irreplaceable role as Brian O Connor? Yes, it
could have been; however, his most famous role was as THE Brian O Connor. The films set his
identity as an actor, but did the films have an effect on the society around us? Did any of his character

What are the clichĂŠ characters? ClichĂŠ characters are characters that are known to be overused time
and time again. This character is pretty predictable and one can usually assert what will happen to
them during the film. An example of a clichĂŠ character would be Harry Potter. With Harry, one could
argue that his clichĂŠ characteristics are being an orphan and having to face Lord Voldemort to save the
world. However, Fast and Furious showcased how not to have clichĂŠ characters. This could be argued
with Paul Walker as Brian O Connor. Brian went from being an undercover cop to an undercover
agent, then he became known as a criminal and well known brother of Dominic Toretto. Normally,
when this happens, not many actors could pull this off and still be loved on and off screen. Brian did
come a long way, but he ended up becoming the heart of the entire franchise. This showed that a
character can contain multiple identities, but still maintain an interest of the audience. After this was
done with Brian O Connor, it drew many people towards Paul Walker for what he was able to do. It is
not easy playing different roles and keeping the initial view of that initial character; however, Paul
Walker did the impossible and Brian O Connor remained a key character in the franchise. He even
earned a special dedication in the end of Furious 7, after Paul s sudden death. There are not many
characters who are even thought about to be given a dedication in a film, yet Brian O Connor was

Examples Of Refocus On Revision In Hamlet
Refocus on Revision
The introduction of advanced analysis and literature concepts into curriculum during high school was
a defining moment for my academia experience. Writing to convey an analysis from a comprehensive
text became one of my strongest interests and was what helped me determine what kind of scholar I
was and the kind that I wanted to be. Over time I have had it made known to me the never ending
possibilities within the world of analysis and have simultaneously worked through the often times
difficult intricacies of the literature process. For this particular season of my initial writing experiences
within college, I once again have been blessed with a fresh perspective on how to perform analysis.
Throughout the course of the semester I have been offered many chances to improve and received
them to my advantage in the way I best knew how. But the process of taking the work you produce
and fitting it into the new and improved category regarding writing quality and intention can set up the
interpretations and understandings of it to become entangled with one another. The following excerpt
of my work was written during a premature point in my understanding of how characters use rhetoric
as both a concept and tool for conversation and accurately reveals my misinterpretation of the artistry
of communication.
In many scenes within Hamlet, the rhetoric backing the audience serves as a pathway for the
encounter to follow. Very strategic conversational movements were

The Pros And Cons Of The Great Fail
To find a definitive answer as to whether the NEW DEAL was a success or failure, one must look at
the bigger picture. After the BANKING CRISIS, many Americans labeled Hoover s action as Too

situation that they named shanty, rundown towns as Hoovervilles . This was all in disgust of what
Hoover was doing for them. Those who were badly hit by the Wall Street Crash had no confidence in

  • 2. The Roaring Twenties By F. Scott Fitzgerald The Roaring Twenties were a time of leisure and parties. The media and events surrounding this time period greatly impacted the carefree, extravagant lifestyle. This era was one of the most dramatic and energetic times in American history. To many, the symbols of the roaring Twenties were F. Scott Fitzgerald and his wife, due to their tales of the young and the wealthy (Hanson 96). The Roaring Twenties influenced many literary works, throughout the 1920s such as F. Scott Fitzgerald s The Great Gatsby and This Side of Paradise. At the start of the 1920s, prohibition had just begun, banning the purchase, sale, and manufacture of alcohol. This actually had adverse effects as people began to make their own alcohol and sell it illegally (Hanson 96). World War I had also recently ended, and soldiers were coming home to a recession in the U.S. The end of the war meant a drop in government spending and exports. Business bankruptcies tripled between 1919 and 1920. Many businesses were forced to cut wages and lay off workers (McDonnell 296). As the 1920 recession came to an end, Americans had more leisure time and money to spare (353). By 1922 the economy had fully rebounded and there was even a shortage of workers (319). World War I fueled the fire of American s suspicions of foreigners (McDonnell 296). The Red Scare had Americans paralyzed by the fear of a possible communist infiltration (301). Along with foreign intolerance, racial intolerance broke out due to wartime migration ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Summary I chose to summarize this review article to understand the reasons behind exercising a patient with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM). Prior to the reading, my knowledge of stress echos only covered the bases of diagnosing coronary artery disease. This review focuses on the patients subjective complaints and its correlation with sudden death from HCM. It s common for us to see patient with HCM and to preform valsalva maneuvers to check for LVOT obstruction with increased velocities. However, a new understanding leads me to believe that preforming a valsalva maneuver at rest may not always cause an obstruction of the LVOT. In this review study, to get a better understanding of patients with HCM, they now stress the patients to evaluate LVOT ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. American Culture In The Namesake, By Jhumpa Lahiri Culture is not just about race, family background, and inheritance. It is bigger than that. Characters and actor s choice are significant to present this. Characters used in the book and movie relates. When I was reading the book, I had an idea of how Ashima, Gogol, Ashoke looks. Most of those ideas were true. I thought Gogol would be better looking and darker shade skin. Ashima is exactly what I thought she would look like. Ashoke is shown as this perfect husband, dad a provider. A lot of Gogol s character is understood as it foreshadows when Gogol was six months old and during his Rice Ceremony, Gogol had to choose between a dollar, a pen, and dirt. Each represents a different profession in the future. As it suggests to the future, Gogol doesn t choose none of them and cries. We see the same thing when he is an adult, he chooses to embrace the culture he grew up in, American Culture even thought he struggled to respect both cultures that are polar opposites of each other. The novel The Namesake written by Jhumpa Lahiri writes about the struggle and hardships of a Bengali couple who immigrate to the US from India to create a lifestyle outside of everything they have known all their lives. The story begins as Ashoke marries Ashima and brings her to the Massachusetts. Their first child s name is Gogol, which they didn t intend on naming initially but because of different mistakes, Gogol has officially become his name. This book/film gave a pleasant insight into identity ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Looking back at the market research methods that could be used to collect information, methods such as questionnaires/ survey, observation, focus groups, experimentation, internet, website monitoring etc. I am going to select 3 primary and 3 secondary methods of research from the ones I have written about. I have chosen 3 primary researches which are: Focus groups Surveys Observation I have chosen 3 secondary researches which are: Data records Internet EPOS/ RFID I am working for the NHS and they have asked me to find out how effective the use of leaflets is within the hospital. In order to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... I could also use focus groups in the NHS to find out information about ways to improve the efficiency, equity, effectiveness and quality of health care services they provide. After carrying out the focus group, the NHS is left with a lot of qualitative data which is good as it is full of details and information on ways to improve the educational leaflets however the data has to be compared and recorded based on the views and opinions of people that represent their target population which is not easy to do. In order to make comparisons, the NHS needs large samples of information because they want good qualitative answers to make comparisons and also to evaluate the service they provide, however a focus group is likely to present a small sample of information for the NHS but if the focus group is representative it will generate good accurate results. However the NHS may need a large sample so using a focus group may not be suitable. As head of human resources, I have been asked by Paul slater to find out new ways teachers can use to teach students. I have chosen to observe other teachers to see the ways they teach so that it can be incorporated to the ways other teachers teach. Observing teachers in the Manchester College allows me to see how different teachers teach and the resources they use that may help others. Atherosclerotic Plaque Formation 3) In 4 6 sentences, describe the process of atherosclerotic plaque formation. 6 pts for response, 2 pt for source: To begin with, cells create atherosclerotic deposits, and these deposits arise on vessel walls. This is formed when LDL deposits tend to become stuck in the matrix, and they undergo oxidation and glycation. Macrophages then feast on LDL s, becoming fueled with fatty droplets. If there is an inflammatory disease, this can cause more growth of plaque, and a fibrous cap or the lipid core is established. Autocracy Liberty vs. Security; both are seemingly broad terms, but due to current events, circumstances have occured resulting in an infringement on liberty because of issues regarding national security thus, creating problems for citizens and politicians alike. Liberty is best defined as a concept that identifies the condition in which an individual has the right to act according to his/her free will[1]. Security is the degree of protection from danger, loss, or criminals[2]. The problem lies in that there are many different views on what the government s role on the proper balance between the two should be. In certain events, extreme security is needed, and should be completely justified. In order to establish what is right or wrong without corruption, the public should have the final say on what needs to happen because they are ultimately the ones who will be affected by these new enforcements. Similar to presidential elections, a national vote should happen during a time of peace, on what precautions the government needs to take during these stressful time periods. The purpose of the election is to get an adequate sample of what the citizens believe their ratio of security to liberty is. A difference would be the removal of the Electoral College. Instead of having the views censored by elected officials, it needs to be the raw wishes of the population. The significance of having it during peace time would be that during emergencies, people get frantic and desperate. Decisions would inevitably be clouded by fear and overall craziness. Ben Franklin once said that, Passion never governs wisely, and this certainly holds true to a person s reaction during war or difficult moments. However, the government will react to what the people want, and will come up with laws or actions that would be beneficial to our society. • 12. Institutional Sexism In The Workplace The U.S. is known to have many issues in its society including racism and sexism. There have been laws that were made in attempt to stop discrimination against color but to this day, women still aren t seen as equals to men. Institutional sexism is the discrimination of a certain gender at a workplace. Sexism is portrayed in the differences between the number of men versus the number of females that have management positions, get higher pay, have more opportunities for advancement and, are more likely to get hired. This oppression against women can impact lives of many women emotionally, mentally, and physically. Sexism also leads to sexual violence and domestic violence because the idea that women and men are unequal causes women to be taken advantage of at home, at work, and everywhere else. Institutional sexism is a topic that needs to be talked about more because the U.S. needs have a law that doesn t allow sexual discrimination anywhere. Institutional sexism in the workplace is an ongoing issue nationally and internationally that takes advantage of women and their work that needs to stop. There are many industries and working fields where women weren t trusted to be leaders when compared to men. The main form of ADR used in family law is family mediation, and is now known in Australia as family dispute resolution (FDR). In a world of political and celebrity scandals from the raunchy to the greedy, our culture is full of corruption and an obsession with fame. Henrik Ibsen s Hedda Gabler and Sylvia Plath s The Colossus both explore the West s moral blindness and our paralysis of feeling and thought in the twentieth century. Western civilization is becoming a wildfire fueled by tragic ignorance, societal norms and corruption. This must be exposed in order for any cultural epiphany to occur. Judge Brack is the definition of the colossus in Hedda Gabler. He is someone people trust and build up to be an honorable and insightful leader, but in the end he is a vulgar and immoral individual full of Dionysian corruption, and lacking any apollonian qualities. Brack throws frequent stag parties that eventually evolve into wild nights of debauchery. He and the men he invite drink and participate in orgies. • 20. The Use Of Port Injection Gasoline With Direct Injection... Therefore, natural gas has a tremendous potential to be used in CI engines effectively based on the RCCI concept. Operating a CI engine in the RCCI mode has become possible as the result of new fuel system technology and engine controls. The high octane number fuel used in the literature is often gasoline or ethanol. The U.S. Department of Energy has devoted significant resources to its national laboratories to investigate the practical applications of port injection gasoline with direct injection diesel fuel, as seen in recent publications from Oak Ridge16,25, Sandia39, and Argonne National Labs17. Because of the lean gasoline air mixture in the CI engine cylinder, its lower combustion temperature can reduce engine heat loss, increase fuel efficiency (up to ∟45%), and decrease exhaust pollution. European institutions are also actively exploring gasoline as a CI engine fuel65. Of the passenger cars in Europe, 45% use CI engines due to the efficiency advantage. On the basis of this dual fuel concept, various fuel injection schemes and piston geometries have been tested74. One study even used a single fuel stock, gasoline, for both port injection and direct injection but added a cetane improver, 2 ethylhexyl nitrate (EHN), to the direct injection fuel stream to enable autoignition31. These successes suggest that it would of great interest to investigate such dual fuel operations using two fuels with vastly different reactivity. However, existing studies are predominantly ... By explaining the history of the region through the eyes of its own occupants, it rids the history of any distorted views from neighboring civilizations. They only way trade could persist was to go another route through Uighur territory. They, however, charged tolls for safe passage. China and Tibet were at war for years. Many battles were fought that resulted in much blood shed. The story of these battles gives a better insight as to what happened, rather than simply spitting out facts about who won. Whitefield also uses this story to describe some of the harsh conditions along the road. She mentioned that at some points water was extremely scarce. However, at other times there were major floods that acted as major barriers. Often dividing the Chinese from the Tibetans, and postponing a battle. There was also a story about a Chinese officer who lost his foot to frostbite while traveling through the mountains. The products did not have to be the best because only one company was producing them; so the consumer either paid the puffed up price or went without. America pushed the government to make a change. The Doctrine Of The Trinity The word Trinity cannot be found in the bible, but neither can omnipresent or omniscient; yet they all describe the Biblical expression of who God is and how he is revealed to humanity. Furthermore, the doctrine of the Trinity is so crucial to Christianity, that if it was removed Christianity would crumble and fall into cult status. Even through the doctrine of the Trinity took almost a three hundred to be formally stated at the Council of Nicea (325) and the Council of Constantople (381);1 Roger Olsen points out that all one has to do is read second and third century church fathers such as Athenagoras, Tertullian, Irenaeus, Origen or Cyprian to see immediately that Christians believed in the Trinity long before Constantine called all the Christian bishops to the first ecumenical council at Nicea in 325. 2 Thereby, this makes the doctrine of the Trinity part of the Great Tradition of Christian Belief for almost 2000 years.3 Specifically; the Trinity is God who is three distinct entities Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Neither is elevated above the other, rather they exist in perfect unity. The evidence supporting the Trinity can been seen clearly in Scripture, has been affirmed by all branches of Christianity and deeply contrasts all other concepts, such as modalism, Arianism and tritheism. Students must identify the species of the unknown bacteria by utilizing the techniques and information learned in previous laboratory exercises. These techniques include streaking for isolation, Gram staining, and specific biochemical tests. Students are given a map known as a dichotomous key, a guide in determining the identity of their unknown sample. Identifying microbes using a series of biochemical tests, like those performed by students, is used in a clinical settings for several important reasons other than taxonomy. It is used to determine susceptibility to antimicrobial drugs, gain information for future treatments, identify pathogens in terms of their potential danger, aid epidemiologists in tracing sources of infections, and to accumulate data of interest to those studying infectious diseases (Tortora, G. The term horns of consecration was an expression given to these symbols by Sir Arthur Evans to describe the ever present images of horns in Minoan sanctuaries, architecture, and art. Religion played a major role in Minoan society with animal sacrifices, music, dance and prayer occurring in caves, on mountain peaks, and in local villas. A central part of the festivals was the sacrificing of a bull to signify the connection of man to nature. However, one theory claims the horns have no connection to the bull at all, but rather the horns are a derivative of the Egyptian symbol illustrating the horizon and mountains. In 1934, Joseph Hazzidakis published his research on the villas at Tylissos and his discovery of four different Minoan horns. Along with this discovery, Hazzidakis also paralleled the shape of the horns to the Egyptian symbol of the horizon. Additionally, Hazzidakis references the seal stone found at Chania, published by Evans, as depicting a divine image due to a male figure shown floating over the horns of consecration with a winged goat and a daemon on his sides which can be seen in figure 3. Hazzidakis claims the lack of a rendering of a sun deity in Minoan art because the deity may be so common that a depiction was unnecessary for the Minoans. Instead, the image of the horns signified the deity and therefore no images of a sun deity were ever created. Yet, Hazzidakis was not the only one to theorize the correlation between the Egyptian symbol and the Minoan horns of consecration. • 32. Romeo And Juliet Essay On Death Throughout the play Romeo and Juliet, Shakespeare shows Romeo s infatuation with two things: death, and Juliet, one overpowering the other. Romeo is suicidal; everything related to eternal rest peaks his interest. Juliet causes Romeo to die which reveals that Juliet did what death itself could not. She helped Romeo forget about the harsh realities of the world, whereas death allowed Romeo an option in the end where he could be alongside his one and only true love. Whether it be in hell or heaven, Romeo would have followed Juliet anywhere. Despite Romeo s obsession with death, his constant references to Juliet suggests that it is not true. From the first time Romeo lays his eyes on Juliet, he was entranced by her beauty and falls in love ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... I am content, so thou wilt have it so/Come, death, and welcome! Juliet wills it so (3.5.17 18 and 24). Romeo is content with dying if Juliet wills it so. This brings light to the fact that Romeo does not worry about himself or about anything other than Juliet when he is with her. When he goes to Mantua, Romeo quickly becomes depressed. He complains that, heaven is here, where Juliet lives, and every cat and dog and little mouse, every unworthy thing, live here in heaven and may look on her, but Romeo may not (3.3.29 32). Romeo reveals that anywhere outside Verona is a place of purgatory if the unworthiest of creatures are able to gaze upon Juliet s beauty while he is stuck in Mantua. As a result, he believes that the banishment is worse than dying as he is tortured by the fact that he may never be able to see her again without the risk of being killed. The only way for Romeo to be together with Juliet is through the means of dying. As Romeo heard of Juliet s deceasement, he rushes to go to Verona despite the evident threat to his life, with poison, to kill himself alongside Juliet. He kills himself just before Juliet woke up. Juliet then kills herself so that they may be together in the afterlife regardless of if it is hell or heaven. Suicide is considered an utmost sin in Christianity and by killing himself, he rescinded his beliefs and religion to be with the one he loved. They both revoke their religion in order to be with each other, neither of them caring ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 33. An Introduction To Admittance And Impedance #1: Immitance is a general term to describe admittance and impedance. Impedance is the measure of opposition to energy flow (sound) into the ear at the plane of the tympanic membrane. Admittance is the total energy flow through the vibrating system. Immitance audiometry is a test battery using acoustic impedance or acoustic admittance to estimate hearing sensitivity and function of the middle ear system. Impedance is typically measured as compliance now. Tympanometry is the test battery for measuring the compliance of the ear in equivalent volume across a range of pressures. It provides an estimation of hearing sensitivity and middle ear function in relation to ear canal volume, compliance, and middle ear pressure. To perform an ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... If the pressure is not within that range, it could suggest Eustachian tube dysfunction. The compliance, or mobility, of the tympanic membrane is also noted as a tympanometric compliance value. Compliance is measure in cubic centimeters (cc) or milliliters (ml). The point on the pressure scale where the maximum compliance occurs is essentially equal to middle ear pressure of the ear tested and is known as the point of maximum compliance. The peak compliance should be within the range of .2 cc to 2.0 cc. If the compliance is considerably lower than .2 cc, it may lead to a diagnosis of tympanosclerosis or otosclerosis; however, if it is much higher than 2.0 cc, it may imply ossicular disarticulation or a hypermobile tympanic membrane. Compliance is plotted over a range of pressures on a tympanogram. There are five possible types of tympanograms that may result from the test: type A, type As, type Ad, type B, and type C. A type A tympanogram suggests a normal conductive system functioning. The peak pressure is noted within the normal range ( 150 daPA to 50 daPa) and the point of maximum compliance occurs within a normal range (.2 cc to 2.0 cc), as well. The ECV should also fall between .65 cc and 1.75 cc. There is no indication of a middle ear pathology if a client receives a type A tympanogram. It is important to note that this test battery is not designed to detect a sensorineural hearing loss, because it solely reports outer and middle ear functioning. A ... Fast And Furious Character Analysis Title: How Paul Walker Completely Changed Action and Drama Movies Who isn t familiar with Brian O Conner, the ex cop yet beloved brother of Dominic Toretto? Yes, this is dealing with Fast and Furious Paul Walker. Before Fast and Furious, Paul Walker had been a part of everything from Highway to Heaven to The Skulls. Did any of his character Brian O Connor s actions influence any outrageous behavior, such as illegal street racing? ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... What are the clichĂŠ characters? ClichĂŠ characters are characters that are known to be overused time and time again. This character is pretty predictable and one can usually assert what will happen to them during the film. An example of a clichĂŠ character would be Harry Potter. With Harry, one could argue that his clichĂŠ characteristics are being an orphan and having to face Lord Voldemort to save the world. However, Fast and Furious showcased how not to have clichĂŠ characters. This could be argued with Paul Walker as Brian O Connor. Brian went from being an undercover cop to an undercover agent, then he became known as a criminal and well known brother of Dominic Toretto. Normally, when this happens, not many actors could pull this off and still be loved on and off screen. Brian did come a long way, but he ended up becoming the heart of the entire franchise. This showed that a character can contain multiple identities, but still maintain an interest of the audience. After this was done with Brian O Connor, it drew many people towards Paul Walker for what he was able to do. It is not easy playing different roles and keeping the initial view of that initial character; however, Paul Walker did the impossible and Brian O Connor remained a key character in the franchise. He even earned a special dedication in the end of Furious 7, after Paul s sudden death. There are not many characters who are even thought about to be given a dedication in a film, yet Brian O Connor was given ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 35. Examples Of Refocus On Revision In Hamlet Refocus on Revision The introduction of advanced analysis and literature concepts into curriculum during high school was a defining moment for my academia experience. Writing to convey an analysis from a comprehensive text became one of my strongest interests and was what helped me determine what kind of scholar I was and the kind that I wanted to be. Over time I have had it made known to me the never ending possibilities within the world of analysis and have simultaneously worked through the often times difficult intricacies of the literature process. For this particular season of my initial writing experiences within college, I once again have been blessed with a fresh perspective on how to perform analysis. Throughout the course of the semester I have been offered many chances to improve and received them to my advantage in the way I best knew how. But the process of taking the work you produce and fitting it into the new and improved category regarding writing quality and intention can set up the interpretations and understandings of it to become entangled with one another. The following excerpt of my work was written during a premature point in my understanding of how characters use rhetoric as both a concept and tool for conversation and accurately reveals my misinterpretation of the artistry of communication. In many scenes within Hamlet, the rhetoric backing the audience serves as a pathway for the encounter to follow. Very strategic conversational movements were ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 36. The Pros And Cons Of The Great Fail To find a definitive answer as to whether the NEW DEAL was a success or failure, one must look at the bigger picture. After the BANKING CRISIS, many Americans labeled Hoover s action as Too little, too late . Some were so dismayed with their Republican President not taking charge of the situation that they named shanty, rundown towns as Hoovervilles .
