Afl Case Study
Usage of normal distribution in AFL
The Australian Football League (AFL) is a multi million dollar sports industry consisting of 18 teams
that are spread over five states of Australia. In this section, two data sets containing the weight and
height of all the players in the 18 AFL teams was analysed to determine whether using normal
distribution to describe them is suitable.
As discussed in the previous section, a normal distribution has particular characteristics it conforms to.
i.e. It has most of its data concentrated near the centre of the distribution The distribution is
symmetrical around its mean Has a bell shaped curve The mean, mode and median of the data set is
the same Follows the empirical rule
The two following population data set: weight and height was therefore ... Show more content on

Since in a normal distribution, the curve is symmetrical, skewness can affect the accuracy to which
normal distribution can be applied to a data set. To determine how close the distribution of the weight
of the AFL population is to being normal, the degree of skewness was found as a large degree of
skewness would reduce the practicality of applying normal distribution to the data set.
To find the coefficient of skewness (a measure of the degree of skewness), the mean, mode and
standard deviation was needed. Due to the large data size, a computer program was used to obtain the
necessary information. The data set was inserted into the program (One Variable Analysis by Haese
and Harris Publications) which then analysed it and produce the required result. The information
collected is displayed below with the result for the mean rounded to 87 from 86.964 and the standard
deviation to 8.2 from 8.2375. This was done for convenience however it did reduce the precision of

Silence Before the Screams
Who would have thought the world could change in the course of seven seconds? The cheers turned
into a deadly silence, everyone dropping to the ground protecting themselves and their children. The
presidential limousine speeding off, but where is it going and why? President Kennedy and Governor
Connally have been shot, both fighting for their lives, but the question is who shot him, and where was
it from? November 22, 1963 Dealey Plaza, people were lining up to get a glance at President John F.
Kennedy. Kennedy arrived in Dallas, Texas to deliver a speech for his reelection for Presidency. He
was scheduled to arrive and say his speech, but then a terrible turn of events happened. At around
12:30 P.M. as his bubble limousine was turning the corner, no one expected they d have to be
shielding themselves from a gunman, let alone seeing JFK be shot. 12:34 P.M. there was a silence,
then screams of horror. Jacqueline Kennedy holding on to her husband as his life is slowly slipping
away in her fingers.
The police are first to act, but they don t have much to go on. They enter all the tall buildings
surrounding Dealey Plaza, but one employee from The School Depository Building is missing; his
name was Lee Harvey Oswald. As questions begin to surface about Kennedy being shot, suspicions
grow about Oswald too. Where did Oswald go and why did he have to leave so soon after the
shooting? Kennedy had several gunshot wounds. One of the nonfatal wounds was in his

leafy suburb is brimming with natural parklands and reserves where the locals enjoy sports, walks,
picnics, and other outdoor activities. Most homes and property are priced to be somewhat affordable,
making this hidden gem of a suburb more popular than it has been in the past. Shopping,
supermarkets, and dining venues are mostly in the neighbouring suburbs of Riverview. The Riverview
people are mostly made up of unpretentious, friendly professionals and retirees. Public transport,
walking, and driving are the primary methods of coming and going to Sydney, the CBD, and the
surrounding suburbs.
Riverview Profile
Riverview is aptly names for its view of the Lane Cove River. Nature, parks, playgrounds, and

Distinctiveness Of The American Bureaucracy
Distinctiveness of the American Bureaucracy
The aspects of the constitution and political system
Political authority over the bureaucracy is not in one set of hands, but shared among several
institutions
In a parliament the authority is all in the prime minister
Most of the agencies of the federal government share their functions with related agencies in state and
local governments
The institutions and traditions of American life have contributed to the growth of adversary culture,
which protects the personal rights of people and the expansion of those rights.
Scope of bureaucracy
Little public ownership of industry in the United States
High degree of regulation in the United States of private industries
Western European countries like france have governments that operate and own most of the economy
Proxy Government
The federal government uses the services of others to do their work for them
State and local governments
Business
Nonprofit organizations
Examples: Social Security, Medicare, much environmental protection, collecting income taxes, many
military duties and FEMA
Critical points
Not all money is put to good use
Keeps the bureaucracy small by paying people outside the government
The Growth of the Bureaucracy
The early controversies
Senate consent to removal of officials is challenged by supporters of a strong president
President has the power to remove but Congress funds and investigates
The appointment of officials
Officials affect how laws are are put into

they were shot down by enemy fire, downed by heavy gear, or got stuck and captured. Battles on the 5
Normandy shores had terrible conditions on Omaha shores but conditions were smooth on Swords
beach. On shores of Juno, Canadian forces landed with the first wave of soldiers that consisted of
many losses. As a result ⅓ of Canadians landing crafts were left in poor conditions, 1,200 Canadian

Vinyl Sidding Research Paper
A Few Things To Know Before You Install Vinyl Siding Vinyl siding has a lot of appeal with
homeowners because it requires very little maintenance. If you hate the thought of scraping peeling
paint and repainting your home every few years, then vinyl is probably the way to go. Vinyl has
advantages over wood, and as an added benefit, you can even install siding that looks just like wood,
so you get the benefits of both types of materials. Here are a few other things to know about vinyl
siding. Vinyl Expands And Contracts Vinyl expands in hot weather and contracts when it gets cold.
Because of this constant, slight movement, vinyl isn t nailed firmly to your house like wood siding is.
Instead, vinyl is hung loosely so it can move. For that reason, proper installation is essential. If you
install the siding yourself and attach the panels too tightly, there is a risk of the vinyl warping or ...

If you live next to a dirt road or factories, or if your house is under shade most of the day, you ll
probably need to wash it more often than if you live in a sunny, clean area. To keep your siding fresh,
all you have to do is wash it. You can use a power washer every year or so to wash away dirt and
mildew. If the buildup isn t too bad, you can probably clean your home with a garden hose and spray
attachment. You can use a vinyl cleaner, dish soap, or vinegar and a soft brush to get rid of stubborn
mildew stains if you don t have a power washer. If you have a damaged panel you want to repair, it s
easy to unhook it from the panels above and below it and replace the damaged panel with a new one
you buy from a home improvement store. Because your siding will slowly fade in color, you may not
find an exact match when you need a replacement panel. In that case, you can take a panel off a
hidden, bottom portion of your home to use in the repairs, and then put the new panel in the spot
where it won t be

Disobedience In Genesis
Genesis is the first book of the Old Testament. Genesis was written by Moses to the people of Israel in
1450 1410 B.C. The purpose of Genesis is to display God s creation of the world and his desire to
have people set apart to worship him. Genesis sets the stage for the entire bible. Genesis has six key
themes of focus. First, is the beginning where Genesis explains the beginning of the world, human
history, family, civilization and salvation. Disobedience being the second theme and Genesis teaches
why men are evil. Disobedience occurs when people chose not to follow God s plan of living. Then
this leads to the third theme which is sin that destroys people s lives. Forth, is the promises God makes
to help and protect us. Fifth, is obedience

Iris Film Analysis
Iris Review Reginald Peery 8/21/15 City University of Seattle Abstract This paper will review the
movie Iris and relate it to the concepts taught in Gerontology 318. The movie Iris starts out under
water. The camera pans through the water and we see an image of a naked lady swimming through the
water. Why is she swimming naked? Well, the reasons will soon become clear. Swimming While
swimming naked the movie jumps between two sets of people the younger woman is naked while the
man she is swimming with is not. The older two people are both not naked. This is meant to be a
representation of the vigor for life that the younger Iris has. The woman is very spirited and social

then the movie starts to hint at the fact that John may have a mental illness as well. Eventually, after
walking into a grocery store a man by the name or Maurice sees Iris and brings her home. John did not
recognize him even though Maurice was in their wedding. In the next scene, Janet from the beach
house has died, and John is giving a speech in front of the family. John is stuttering, as he usually
does, but makes inappropriate jokes. Iris has an emotional breakdown and remembers Janet and jumps
out of a moving car into the woods. Iris and John go home and feel a renewed sense of love for each

Death Penalty Sociology
When discussing the death penalty, rarely do we acknowledge the impact executions have on the men
and women who facilitate the process. Although this process is solely voluntary, the side effects are
not. According to several executioners, the first experience is far from what they had anticipated. To
bring to light the stories of these men and women, Jim Willet facilitates an audio recording which
covers the process of executing an inmate and the aftermath which is often felt by the executioner.
After the Governor and Attorney General provide the okay, the inmate is escorted to the death
chamber where they are strapped to the gurney in roughly 30 seconds. Often the inmate will thank the
tie down team, which has been said to leave the executioner with a weird feeling. Some inmates are
calm, while others cry or appear to be physically anxious. For those who are anxious it has been said
that their legs will often ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This particular film followed the life of Carroll Pickett, a former presbyterian minister in Huntsville
Texas. Once he retired from the church, Pickett would become a prison chaplain for 15 years where he
would witness 95 executions. After each execution Pickett made a tape on each inmate he personally
walked to the death chamber. Within the film, he said I knew I had to talk to someone, and the only
thing in my house at the time was a tape recorder. From my exposure to this topic, it has become clear
to me that the impact executions have on the executioner is significant. Being able to separate your
thoughts from your emotions can be challenging. Knowing that someone is responsible for carrying
out the sentence of death, makes me question whether I would be willing or able to do the task myself.
Therefore, I don t take this subject lightly. In the end, I would like to see potential volunteers be
educated on the potential trauma or emotional cost associated with being apart of the execution

through and not have tried to stop it. She wants to start a new life with Cole. She visits him in the
hospital after the spirit bear attack, but also during his second stay on the island she writes him
frequently and expresses her care and concern. Cole chooses forgiveness and grows to love his

Analysis Of Dorothy Allison s Bastards Out Of Carolina
As a society we often judge or form opinions based on others according to their gender, race and class;
this is called stereotyping. Stereotyping involves making generalizations to describe or differentiate a
group. Stereotypes are harmful to women and their experiences, because they can cause bad decision
making that can lead to negative outcomes. Anney Boatwright in Dorothy Allison s novel Bastards
Out of Carolina is heavily burdened by the stereotype of being identified as white trash, which leads
her to making unorthodox decisions regarding her family in hope of breaking free of this white trash
stereotype. Stereotypes are destructive in the shaping of individuals lives, because they make us
disregard differences between individuals. Since stereotypes are everywhere and they are impossible
to escape Anney finds herself conforming to gender stereotypes in order to try to rid herself of this
white trash stereotype. Gender stereotyping plays a major role in the white trash stereotype that is both
racialized and classed. This gender stereotype of women needing a man in their life is taught from
birth. In traditional white families both parents are usually in their children s life, the women are
typically stay at home mothers that take care of the cooking and cleaning, the men have white collar
jobs and they typically live a privileged lifestyle, but since Anney is the exact opposite of this she is
stereotyped as white trash. White trash refers to white people who

The Role Of Judges Lawyers And Lay People Within The...
Merit compare and contrast the role of judges ,lawyers and lay people within the English courts.
In this task I will write a report about comparing the roles of judges, lawyers and lay people within the
English courts.
Solicitors and barristers are both known as lawyers this term lawyer is used to describe anyone who is
a qualified legal practitioner. One of the main differences is the job role a solicitor is a legal expert
who provides expert legal advice and they come into more contact with their clients who could be
people, groups or businesses. Whereas a Barrister represents the individual people and the
organisation within the courts, they can also be distinguished from a solicitor because they wear a wig
and a gown in the court. One thing they both have in common is that they both can give legal advice
to their clients. On a day to day basis a solicitor will deal with the majority of the paperwork for
example, writing documents, contracts and letter this is all related to their clients .and take specific
instructions from their clients, depending on where they are specialist in they will be able to give
useful advice on the legal action. Whilst a barrister would mainly focus on advocacy which is to
represent their clients in court, they are normally hired by a solicitors and take instructions from there.
There main role is to represent their client cases in a persuasive representation in order to get the best
outcome for their client. The Legal services act 1990

Geometry Standards
During my level two s I was in a first grade classroom and I had a wonderful experience teaching at
Orchard Hill Elementary, I grew to love teaching first grade. My mother was also a preschool teacher
and my aunt was a kindergarten teacher, so I have always had a passion for teaching lower elementary.
I think first grade would be the perfect classroom to teach, because that is when students are starting to
become less dependent on help from the teacher. Students are still at the age where they love going to
school and are excited to learn. Also, I can empower them to keep having a love of learning for years
to come. Students in first grade are starting to develop their critical thinking and problem solving
skills, so this is very important when it comes to math. I plan on staying in Iowa to teach, so I am
going to be discussing how geometry can be taught in a first grade classroom. Then, I will discuss
how to implement the standards in a first grade classroom. Then, I will discuss briefly how the Iowa
Core and the Common Core compare in geometry standards and also describe the three Iowa Core
standards for geometry. As well as, explaining the Van Hiele levels and what level first graders should

It also acknowledges the content description as children use origami skills to fold their two
dimensional nets into three dimensional objects, such as prisms and pyramids. Thinking about 3D
shapes through nets can be very beneficial to understanding the representation of shapes in multiple
forms (Tartre, 1990). They help students to conceptualise surface area, the logistics of volume and side
lengths through special visualisation. Before the construction of the 3D shapes, while children are in
the decorating stage, I will prompt thinking by asking how many sides their shape will have when it s
completed or what side of the net do they think will be the base. One key problem with the worksheet
selected, is that it names the 3D shape that will be created from the net. I will remove this because I
think it is essential for students to be able to recognise and correctly identify the shape for themselves
as this is something they are asked to do in most standardised maths tests. This idea is supported by
the NSW Department of Education as they recognise students must have the ability to perceive and
hold an appropriate mental image of an object . In order to further support the development of
modelling 3D shapes, I will implement another creative activity where students can

Burroughs Not Marinetti s Futurist Essay
The potentials of the new technology created in the early twentieth century created a variety of
reactions with in society. Some people embraced the changes, others resisted the developments, and
still others fell somewhere in between. Filippo Tommaso Marinetti s piece, The Futurist Manifesto ,
embraces the rapid transformation of society. His world is composed of fast, powerful machines and
strong, young citizens. The Manifesto also depicts an aggressive, violent, and unjust world that is
devoid of any morals. Edgar Rice Burroughs is another author whose work, A Princess of Mars,
addresses the future and its possibilities. It is the story of John Carter, an American Civil War Veteran,
who is mysteriously transported to Mars or Barsoom ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
He says, When we are forty let younger and stronger men than we throw us in the waste paper basket
like useless manuscripts (4). Just as significant as Carter s significant prowess is his courageous,
fearless, and violent demeanor. All of these traits are highly valued in Marinetti s Futurist Manifesto.
Nonetheless, this initial glance of Burroughs work is highly deceptive. Though John Carter is violent,
he only fights in self defense or in the defense of his dependents like his Martian watchdog, Woola,
and his love interest, Dejah Thoris. He exhibits a sense of morals and justice that Marinetti clearly
rejects in his manifesto. Burroughs stress on the value of morality is further solidified by the
comparison between the Tharks, the green Martians, and the red Martians of Helium. The green
Martians are warlike, uncultured, and unjust, which contributes to their backwardness. On the other
hand, the red Martians are highly civilized because they show fairness, lawfulness, and love.
(transition) Marinetti even states in the Manifesto of Futurism that, Beauty exists only in the struggle.
There is no masterpiece that has not an aggressive character. This suits Marinetti s own piece because
of the raw, violent, and sexual imagery used to describe the machinery in the future. For example, the
reader is confronted with rogue locomotives and hungry, roaring automobiles . Furthermore, Marinetti
says that the Futurists want to glorify war because it is the

Rader bound, tortured and killed his victims, representing the name BTK that he chose for himself.
The most commonly used method to kill his victims was strangulation, although some were suffocated
or hung. Rader would often strangle his victims just to the point where they would pass out, allowing
them to regain consciousness many times before he would finally kill them. Rader would become
sexually aroused at this process and would masturbate onto the bodies once deceased. Taking
souvenirs was also part of Rader s modus operandi. Rader would steal panties from his victims and
later wear them himself (Blanco, n.d.).

Between 1642 and prior to the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi, many European traders and
missionaries arrived, bringing changes for Māori. They impacted the Māori society and introduced
many new things to the Māori like pigs, muskets, tobacco and alcohol. Missionaries also influenced
Māori and introduced Māori to Christianity and to the written language. Europeans changed the
lifestyle of Māori, civilised Māori and taught them farming skills and new types of agricultural
cultivation.

Tribes acquired hundreds of muskets and they used it for war. They wanted to focus on producing
goods to trade with Europeans in order to pay for the weapons. However, musket ownership was most
significant when a tribe with muskets fought against a tribe without muskets.
The arrival of the Europeans caused many changes to the Māori society between 1642 and prior to the
signing of the Treaty of Waitangi. The Europeans brought with them many things to trade; however,
they contributed to fatal impact in New Zealand as they brought with them weapons which killed a lot
of people and enslaved many more as more and more Māori competed for weapons. By 1830 the
Māori had learnt a lot about the world. They had learnt the skills of trade with Europeans and the
Māori had missionaries that taught them how to read, write and communicate with the outside world.

Analysis Of Joachim Patinir s Triptych, The Penitence Of...
Netherlandish use of triptychs three distinct art pieces that simultaneously exist as individual images
and as a collective picture usually were presented as devotional images and altarpieces. Joachim
Patinir s triptych, The Penitence of Saint Jerome (c. 1512 1515, Metropolitan Museum of Art, NY),
employs both the same form of traditional triptychs and the Netherlandish tradition of extended
panoramic landscapes; however, the triptych breaks traditional convention. The three separate panels
share the same landscape which allows the figures to exist in the same pictorial space. This maintains
an unbroken continuation of the landscape, which adds not only to the content within a single panel,
but to the entire narrative of the triptych. Yet, each individual panel is also worthy of its own analysis
and discussion. The left panel depicts the first of three saints, Saint John the Baptist, in the midst of
his signature baptizing of Christ. A river flows from the furthest reaches of the landscape down to the
bottom frame, with Christ standing thigh deep in the water, a dove alighting from God perched in the
clouds in the top left. Saint John kneels over him on the riverbank while a group of people huddle in
the distance behind the baptism scene. In traditional style, the triptych simultaneously depicts a central
scene as well as past and future narrative events present here as Saint John preaching chronologically
before the actual baptism of Christ. The central, larger panel

An Occurrence At Owl Creek Bridge Literary Analysis
Romanticized stories are those that show an idyllic yet unrealistic view of reality. It s the picturesque
quality of romance that draws the reader in. One example of this is in An Occurence at Owl Creek
Bridge by Ambrose Bierce. In An Occurence at Owl Creek Bridge, Bierce increases the impact of the
story s ending by romantically depicting Farquhar s escape and following the romantic portrayal with
a sudden snap back to reality. An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge follows a man named Peyton
Farquhar before, during, and after his execution. The ending of the story is told to seem like Farquhar
heroically escapes the execution and makes it back to his loving wife, however, in the last paragraph it
is made clear that the romantically described escape was just what flashed before his eyes during his
death. The romantic depiction of his imagined escape is what makes the ending so powerful. It brings
the reader on a happy journey before harshly turning back to reality. ... Show more content on

Thomas G. Weinandy s Essay Who Is Israel
The questions, what does it suggest in saying that this new solidarity, effected by Christ, is what we
call the Church, and what does this imply concerning the importance of visible communion as a
visible solidarity among those renewed in Christ? become answerable by revisiting and binding
together the three original questions presented at the start of the course. These original questions, Who
is Israel, Who is Jesus, and Who is the church, demonstrate a synchronistic relationship with each
other. By reviewing them and, illustrating their connectivity we can begin to see how one can draw
inferences regarding the new visual solidarity manifested in the church.

Augustine, with Jesus as its head and us as the body, shows an intimacy between the Head and the
body leading us to mystical union with Christ. Continuing, Augustine insists not only will Christ make
us one in Him, but one person, and that the church s structure reflects not a series of individuals but a
unity speaking as one. St Gregory demonstrates this in his expositions on the Psalms, Psalm 60, The
psalm, he says, speaks as though one single person is praying. But it is not a lone individual; it is a
unity speaking as one. In Christ, He molds us into one person whose head is in heaven and whose
limbs are toiling on earth. Gregory the Great echoes Augustine s usage of the word person in the same
way. He says, Our redeemer has shown himself to be one person with the holy Church, whom he has
taken to himself. Hence, one can conclude that as members united with Christ as the body to the head,
Christ transfigured us into his selfless gift of love. Throughout scripture the imagery depicting a

Sports Marketing and Mobile Technology Essay
Sports marketing has made its way directly to the fans. In the past, only the extremely devoted fans
would check on their teams online but now, the norm has changed. Now the devoted fans learn new

reason this is possible is because mobile apps have greatly contributed to the way fans follow their

The Earthquake Of Nepal Earthquake
Earthquakes are destructive natural disasters that have the potential to occur. Earthquakes greatly
impact various locations around the world. Generally, earthquakes typically only last for a few brief
moments but they can greatly impact a society. One of which include the Nepal Earthquake of April
25,2015. This particular earthquake flattened large parts of the capital Kathmandu and also, caused
destruction throughout the already improvised Himalayan nation. The earthquake in Nepal was the
most catastrophic natural disaster in the last 80 years (News Discovery, 2015). With this in mind, the
Nepal earthquake obviously has caused a tremendous amount of damage and loss. However,
earthquakes are bound to take place due to Mother Nature. In order to understand the severity of the
earthquake in Nepal, it is imperative to comprehend how earthquakes form. While much of the
damage in Nepal could be attributed to the country s poor infrastructure, citizens in other nations can
mitigate the disastrous effects of an earthquake by becoming knowledgeable of natural disasters. Thus,
this paper will explain several different aspects regarding how earthquakes form, the severity of the
Nepal earthquake, and how earthquakes can be mitigated. Ultimately, to fully comprehend a specific
earthquake one must know how earthquakes form as well as, how they work. An earthquake is the
shaking and vibration of the Earth s crust. This happens when two blocks of the earth suddenly slip

An Analysis Of Seamus Heaney s Mid-Term Break
For most students, a break in school signifies the end of classes for the term and a well deserved
vacation after a week of intense finals. For others, it is an opportunity to return home to the comfort of
family and friends. Yet other students take advantage of the opportunity to earn some money.
However, it can also be a time of change. Seamus Heaney s Mid Term Break brilliantly depicts the
feeling of loss by using irony, imagery, time and symbolism to detail the timing of events when a
tragedy occurs in his family.
Heaney first uses irony in the title giving readers the sense that the poem will be about the exciting
and fun times of a school break. The word mid term references a point in time as Heaney begins to
describe the time line of events of a student when a personal tragedy occurs back home. Another
reference to time is the word break used here to signify that something has come to an end.
Heaney writes the poem in a chronological order to show how he dealt with the emotional aspect of
death as a student. The poem begins with I sat all morning in the college sick bay (l. 1) to establish the
starting time and provides the approximate age (time) of the student. The use of the word sick is a clue
that the break is not a typical ending to the school term. When someone goes to the nurse s office
during school, it is usually because they are sick. Heaney first uses symbolism with the careful choice
of the words Counting bells knelling classes to

The Role Of The Magi In The Bible

the Bible, because in Matthew s account there are three gifts given which were gold, incense, and
myrrh. However, the Bible does not say there were only three wise men. They could have been more.
So we do not know who are the people exactly because the Bible never mentioned it. The magi is a
counselor to a king. Tradition says that there were three magi and their names were Gaspar, Melchior,
and Balthasar, but since the Bible does not say, we have no way of knowing whether the tradition is
accurate. We know that the magi were wise men ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Frameworks In Greenwashing
Businesses are facing increasing pressures from both internal and external stakeholders to be
accountable and transparent, and to disclose the social, environmental and economic impacts of their
activities through sustainability reporting (Klettner, Clarke Boersma 2014; Soderstrom 2013).
Accordingly, there has been an increase in organisations claiming their voluntary commitment to the
international standards and frameworks for corporate sustainability namely, the United Nations Global
Compact (UNGC) and the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) s sustainability reporting guidelines
(Klettner, Clarke Boersma 2014; Milne Gray 2013). According to Benn, Dunphy Griffiths (2014)

This is not to say that frameworks such as the GRI do not endorse improvements in business reporting
and accountability (Milne Gray 2013). Rather, it is the fact that the adoption of these frameworks
solely relies on the voluntary commitment by businesses that reduces its effectiveness (Klettner,
Clarke Boersma 2014; Milne Gray 2013). This same issue also extends to companies codes of conduct
and certification schemes.
Elsewhere, the introduction of the new IR framework by the IIRC (International Integrated Reporting
Council) has been suggested to be a paradigm shift in the way corporations report their activities to
stakeholders (Klettner, Clarke Boersma 2014; Soderstrom 2013). Until now, business reports primarily
focused on TBL (Triple Bottom Line) reporting of economic, social and environmental impacts
(Adams 2013). While some corporations have demonstrated a willingness to achieve higher standards
of performance in corporate sustainability in line with international frameworks (such as the GRI),
rarely do they produce reports which provide information on social and environmental issues to the
same extent and quality as that of financial information (Boersma 2013;

Motivation can be defined as a reason for an individual to act or behave in a certain manner. Many
factors influence a person s motivations including power, wealth and social class. In the play, King

allows his desire for flattery and appearance to control him, resulting in him making many mistakes.
King Lear then fails to be authoritative in the face of chaos, allowing for the temporary downfall of

Summary Of Power Dynamics In Bronte s Jane Eyre
Power dynamics in Brontë s Jane Eyre have been examined in a multitude of ways, including the
centralisation of slaves and masters (Zonana), and Dupras reading of the importance of economic
status and depravity. However, this critical response will focus on how the ultimate form of power,
and therefore the formation of power dynamics, stems from Jane s position as an unreliable, biased
narrator. The extract from chapter twenty seven, wherein Rochester tells Jane about Bertha s voyage
and confinement to Thornfield, ultimately displays how Jane as the narrator challenges the influence
of masculinity, and how power structures are superimposed by female narrative voice. Similarly, how
Jane s voice furthers power imbalances between her and Bertha, as well as how she holds power over
the reader s impressions of these characters.
It can be argued that Jane s narrative voice within the extract challenges Rochester s pre existing
masculine power, and thus elevates the experiences of women in society. This is shown through
Rochester s display of bigamy later in the extract; Jane narrates an arguably accurate account of
Rochester s speech, lamenting he was convinced that I could and ought remarry. Brontë s use of
language such as convinced gives connotations in this instance of male entitlement, as Rochester
refuses to acknowledge or follow the known law. Similarly, the use of ought gives insight into
Rochester s views of his own superiority; arguably, he believes he has a

Essay about American Airlines Competitive Strategy
Evaluate American s 1992 announcement of a new rate structure:
a. What changes did American make?
American Airlines (American) made four fundamental changes to its rates. First, it moved to a four
tier rate structure; American offered first class rates and three tiers of coach: full fare, 21 day advance
purchase and 7 day advance purchase. Overall, it expected to reduce coach fares by 38% and first
class fares by 20% to 50%. Though full fare coach prices dropped by about 38%, advance purchase
fares dropped by 6% when compared to the advance purchase tickets already being offered. Through
this fare structure, American also eliminated deep discount tickets. Second, American eliminated the

Travel agents therefore are both positively and negatively impacted. Small business customers are
positively impacted by the fare changes. Previously, the higher full fare prices discouraged small
business travel; small businesses would either decide against travel or incur the cost of a Saturday
night stay and purchase a reduced fare ticket. By reducing the full coach fares, small businesses will
be able to purchase more convenient flights at more economical prices. Large businesses, on the other
hand, may be negatively impacted. Since many large businesses had negotiated discount rate contracts
with airlines, the new full coach fare may be higher than these negotiated fares. For large businesses
that did not have negotiated contracts, the fares will be lower than the previous full fare rate.
Leisure travelers overall will be made better off by the new fare structure. These travelers have more
flexibility and can take advantage of the advance purchase discounts and Saturday night stay
discounts. An exception to this is leisure travelers who had found loop holes in the old fare system by
using creative ticketing and waiting for deep discounts. These leisure travelers may pay higher rates
because the deep discounts will no longer be offered.
c. Why did each of American s competitors react to the fare changes the way they did?

The Incarnation Of Jesus The Christ
Christopher Davis
THE380 Christ Church
Integrative/ Research Essay 2
March 17, 2015
Interpretation: The Incarnation of Jesus the Christ Over 2,000 years there has been endless debates
pertaining to Jesus the Christ. The main issue is how a man can be truly divine and fully human? It
seems paradoxical because of the combination of two separate natures, but it is a unique act of
forgiveness by God. There are in fact clues to show how and, why Jesus is in fact fully divine along
with fully human. There are links that trace Jesus historically. Due to these historic biblical resources,
it makes understanding the divine subdivision of Jesus hard to understand. How does one come to
terms with the fully divine side of Jesus? Is it only mythicized biblical texts or devout faith in the
biblical tradition?
There is no definite way to prove history because there is no way to go back in time. But there are
clues within biblical text to show the humanity of Jesus. The first trace of evidence to show that Jesus
was fully human is displayed in the Gospel of John. The word became flesh (John 1:14). This is
evidence to show that Jesus took on the logos; which brings God s word, and will into humanity
directly. Indication shows that Jesus exhibited human traits such as emotion. Jesus offered up prayers
and supplications, with loud cries and tears (Hebrews 5:7) Jesus was fleshly, and maintained human
qualities that were hard to deny. More evidence that proved the incarnation of Jesus

The Court Used The Discerning Observer Test For...
The court used the discerning observer test for substantial similarity, analyzing protectable elements
and how those elements were arranged and placed and the total concept and feel of the quilts. Id. at
273. In particular, the court considered the arrangement and shapes of letters, colors that were chosen
to represent letters and other parts of the quilt, quilting patterns, icons chosen and placement of
protectable elements. Id.; See Hogan v. DC Comics, 48 F. Supp. 2d 298 (S.D.N.Y. 1999) (reasoning
that the comic book and novel were not substantially similar because the similarities were of
unprotectable ideas and themes, in addition to the differences in the total look and feel of the works,
the interactions of the characters , and the plots). However, in Knitwaves, when the plaintiff, a
clothing manufacturer claimed that the defendant had copied two sweaters that were created and
copyrighted by the plaintiff, the court ruled that the two sweater designs at issue were substantially
similar because the alleged infringed work copied the original contribution of the copyrighted work.
71 F.3d 996. In addition, the court reasoned that the sole use of Knitwaves sweaters as reference
materials and the selection, coordination and arrangement of patterns was enough to constitute
copyright infringement. Id. at 1004.
Copyright protection does not extend to scenes a faire, which are stock themes commonly linked to a
particular genre or characteristics that appear in a work of

Death Comes Swift Essay
Death comes swift. I lied awake in bed, unsure of what would happen to me now that Nan was dead.
She was all I had for the last 16 years, and while she wasn t accepting of who, what, I am... I know she
still had some love for me. My thoughts swirled in my head much as they had for the past week:
where will I go? , What if they find out about me? , What if I am discovered? I knew from my
grandmother that something terrible would happen if anyone discovered my... abilities. By the age of
nine I had been aloof and withdrawn in school, fearful that I might reveal myself to someone. She
forced me to church with her, begging the lord to extract my devil s gifts as she called them. I had one
saving grace with my abilities, she never ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I rolled the cheap rental fabric of the sleeve between my fingers before walking to my dresser and
pulling out my underwear. I grabbed a pair of plain boxers from the front and looked down at the
boring pattern. Might as well be a little different I muttered, as i pulled the old drawer all the way out,
feeling around for the pair of fitted boxer briefs I had secretly gotten for myself. The pale blue went
well with my pale skin, the spunky girl at the store said so herself. It was one of the few acts of
rebellion I had done up to that point. I still remembered how nervous I was going into the alternative
store in the local mall, I shook as I looked at all the crude jokes and sexual things inside. She came up
out of nowhere and asked if I needed any help. I stammered out No, I I m alright thanks. She must
have known I was nervous because she just smirked and said Here let s find you a souvenir. I only
nodded and followed her around the store as she asked me about what I liked, what I was into, etc. I
couldn t help but stair at her amazingly colored hair, it shimmered in the dim light like a peacocks
feathers; radiating out from a vibrant green, to blue, and purple. As we passed by the sexy underwear
section of the story, my eyes landed on the pair of underwear. Right away she noticed and said Great
choice! I bet he ll love them with a wink. I clammed up as soon as she said he , and of

Fah Loan Facts
10 Facts and Myths of FHA Loans
Like many other phenomena, loans guaranteed by the Federal Housing Administration have had their
fair share of myths and facts. Some of the most common myths and facts of FHA loans are briefly
discussed below.
1. It is impossible to get FHA insured loans if you don t have good credit MYTH
FHA is the most lenient loan program available. FHA will insure a loan for a borrower with a mid
FICO score of 580 and still be eligible for 3.5% down payment. However, borrowers with credit
scores lower than 500 can still qualify. They must have at least 10% to use as a down payment.
2. Loans insured by FHA are particularly designed for the poor MYTH
The term poor is relative, and the concept that FHA insured loans ... Show more content on
Helpwriting.net ...
The FHA, however, removed these hurdles for homebuyers who want to buy foreclosed houses.
6. A minimum credit score of 620 is needed to get an FHA insured loan MYTH
This is a pure misconception as the FHA is designed to help borrowers who have passed through a
legit economic hardship and can substantiate the claim. This means that loans are given to borrowers
that have a FICO score that is less than 620 and can afford the small down payments.
7. It is required that you get a Loan Officer to get an FHA insured loan FACT
Most loan officers cannot do business with the Federal Housing Administration. It is therefore
required that you find an accredited agency that is knowledgeable about the underwriting department
at the FHA. This makes the process easier and more effective as such agencies know how to go about
writing the almighty letter of economic hardship that justifies you getting the loan. The letter
determines whether you will be accepted or not as it needs to be written in a certain way.
8. People with bad credit do not get penalized by FHA insured loans

Medea s Manipulation In Jason And The Argonauts
Medea is quite often called Euripides s magnum opus for a multitude of reasons, and the fleshing out
of Medea is one of the most prominent. He created a juxtaposition portraying Medea as both a victim
of society and a cold, cunning, manipulative killer. This brought the issues of slavery, women s rights
and equality to light in ancient Greece. Euripides s masterpiece drama builds on Medea s important
role in Jason and the Argonauts. Now, however, Medea is Jason s antagonist, murdering his new wife,
children and father in law. Medea does this through careful manipulation and scheming, using her
intelligence, cleverness and cunning to create plots deadly to those around Jason in order to exact her
revenge. Unfortunately for Medea, that same ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
She then receives their blessings, with the chorus, knowing that her vengeance will be just. With her
speech to the women of Corinth, she preys on their emotions and the history of disrespect and
mistreatment of women in order to gain their support for her schemes. Within her next few lines, she
is Creon and his emotional ties to his children in order to stay in Corinth for one more day, in order for
her to enact her revenge on Jason. Medea continues her manipulative rampage through to Aegeus,
where she uses the same strategy of evoking empathy, this time using her eminent exile, while at the
same time offering a deal to end his childlessness. She manipulates him through his emotions and by
enticing him with a potion that will end his childlessness in order to secure herself a home in case her
scheming puts her into danger. Aegeus, like Jason and Creon, accepts her deal, and Medea s
manipulation succeeds again. Right after securing her safety, she encounters Jason again. She
apologizes for disagreeing with him and not accepting his logic earlier, and offers her apologies. Yet
again Medea uses her children as bargaining chips in order to manipulate emotions, this time
convincing Jason to let them deliver the cursed gifts to his new wife. Jason accepts the apologies and
the gifts, sentencing his new wife and father in law to

  • 2. Afl Case Study Usage of normal distribution in AFL The Australian Football League (AFL) is a multi million dollar sports industry consisting of 18 teams that are spread over five states of Australia. In this section, two data sets containing the weight and height of all the players in the 18 AFL teams was analysed to determine whether using normal distribution to describe them is suitable. As discussed in the previous section, a normal distribution has particular characteristics it conforms to. i.e. It has most of its data concentrated near the centre of the distribution The distribution is symmetrical around its mean Has a bell shaped curve The mean, mode and median of the data set is the same Follows the empirical rule The two following population data set: weight and height was therefore ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Since in a normal distribution, the curve is symmetrical, skewness can affect the accuracy to which normal distribution can be applied to a data set. To determine how close the distribution of the weight of the AFL population is to being normal, the degree of skewness was found as a large degree of skewness would reduce the practicality of applying normal distribution to the data set. To find the coefficient of skewness (a measure of the degree of skewness), the mean, mode and standard deviation was needed. Due to the large data size, a computer program was used to obtain the necessary information. The data set was inserted into the program (One Variable Analysis by Haese and Harris Publications) which then analysed it and produce the required result. The information collected is displayed below with the result for the mean rounded to 87 from 86.964 and the standard deviation to 8.2 from 8.2375. This was done for convenience however it did reduce the precision of the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 7. Vinyl Sidding Research Paper A Few Things To Know Before You Install Vinyl Siding Vinyl siding has a lot of appeal with homeowners because it requires very little maintenance. If you hate the thought of scraping peeling paint and repainting your home every few years, then vinyl is probably the way to go. Vinyl has advantages over wood, and as an added benefit, you can even install siding that looks just like wood, so you get the benefits of both types of materials. Here are a few other things to know about vinyl siding. If you install the siding yourself and attach the panels too tightly, there is a risk of the vinyl warping or ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... If you live next to a dirt road or factories, or if your house is under shade most of the day, you ll probably need to wash it more often than if you live in a sunny, clean area. To keep your siding fresh, all you have to do is wash it. You can use a power washer every year or so to wash away dirt and mildew. If the buildup isn t too bad, you can probably clean your home with a garden hose and spray attachment. You can use a vinyl cleaner, dish soap, or vinegar and a soft brush to get rid of stubborn mildew stains if you don t have a power washer. If you have a damaged panel you want to repair, it s easy to unhook it from the panels above and below it and replace the damaged panel with a new one you buy from a home improvement store. Because your siding will slowly fade in color, you may not find an exact match when you need a replacement panel. In that case, you can take a panel off a hidden, bottom portion of your home to use in the repairs, and then put the new panel in the spot where it won t be ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Although this process is solely voluntary, the side effects are not. According to several executioners, the first experience is far from what they had anticipated. To bring to light the stories of these men and women, Jim Willet facilitates an audio recording which covers the process of executing an inmate and the aftermath which is often felt by the executioner. After the Governor and Attorney General provide the okay, the inmate is escorted to the death chamber where they are strapped to the gurney in roughly 30 seconds. • 12. Analysis Of Dorothy Allison s Bastards Out Of Carolina As a society we often judge or form opinions based on others according to their gender, race and class; this is called stereotyping. Stereotyping involves making generalizations to describe or differentiate a group. Stereotypes are harmful to women and their experiences, because they can cause bad decision making that can lead to negative outcomes. Anney Boatwright in Dorothy Allison s novel Bastards Out of Carolina is heavily burdened by the stereotype of being identified as white trash, which leads her to making unorthodox decisions regarding her family in hope of breaking free of this white trash stereotype. Stereotypes are destructive in the shaping of individuals lives, because they make us disregard differences between individuals. Since stereotypes are everywhere and they are impossible to escape Anney finds herself conforming to gender stereotypes in order to try to rid herself of this white trash stereotype. Gender stereotyping plays a major role in the white trash stereotype that is both racialized and classed. This gender stereotype of women needing a man in their life is taught from birth. In traditional white families both parents are usually in their children s life, the women are typically stay at home mothers that take care of the cooking and cleaning, the men have white collar jobs and they typically live a privileged lifestyle, but since Anney is the exact opposite of this she is stereotyped as white trash. In this task I will write a report about comparing the roles of judges, lawyers and lay people within the English courts. Solicitors and barristers are both known as lawyers this term lawyer is used to describe anyone who is a qualified legal practitioner. One of the main differences is the job role a solicitor is a legal expert who provides expert legal advice and they come into more contact with their clients who could be people, groups or businesses. Whereas a Barrister represents the individual people and the organisation within the courts, they can also be distinguished from a solicitor because they wear a wig and a gown in the court. One thing they both have in common is that they both can give legal advice to their clients. On a day to day basis a solicitor will deal with the majority of the paperwork for example, writing documents, contracts and letter this is all related to their clients .and take specific instructions from their clients, depending on where they are specialist in they will be able to give useful advice on the legal action. Whilst a barrister would mainly focus on advocacy which is to represent their clients in court, they are normally hired by a solicitors and take instructions from there. There main role is to represent their client cases in a persuasive representation in order to get the best outcome for their client. The Legal services act 1990 ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 14. Geometry Standards During my level two s I was in a first grade classroom and I had a wonderful experience teaching at Orchard Hill Elementary, I grew to love teaching first grade. My mother was also a preschool teacher and my aunt was a kindergarten teacher, so I have always had a passion for teaching lower elementary. I think first grade would be the perfect classroom to teach, because that is when students are starting to become less dependent on help from the teacher. Students are still at the age where they love going to school and are excited to learn. Also, I can empower them to keep having a love of learning for years to come. Students in first grade are starting to develop their critical thinking and problem solving skills, so this is very important when it comes to math. I plan on staying in Iowa to teach, so I am going to be discussing how geometry can be taught in a first grade classroom. Then, I will discuss how to implement the standards in a first grade classroom. Then, I will discuss briefly how the Iowa Core and the Common Core compare in geometry standards and also describe the three Iowa Core standards for geometry. They help students to conceptualise surface area, the logistics of volume and side lengths through special visualisation. Before the construction of the 3D shapes, while children are in the decorating stage, I will prompt thinking by asking how many sides their shape will have when it s completed or what side of the net do they think will be the base. One key problem with the worksheet selected, is that it names the 3D shape that will be created from the net. I will remove this because I think it is essential for students to be able to recognise and correctly identify the shape for themselves as this is something they are asked to do in most standardised maths tests. This idea is supported by the NSW Department of Education as they recognise students must have the ability to perceive and hold an appropriate mental image of an object . • 17. Burroughs Not Marinetti s Futurist Essay The potentials of the new technology created in the early twentieth century created a variety of reactions with in society. Some people embraced the changes, others resisted the developments, and still others fell somewhere in between. Filippo Tommaso Marinetti s piece, The Futurist Manifesto , embraces the rapid transformation of society. His world is composed of fast, powerful machines and strong, young citizens. The Manifesto also depicts an aggressive, violent, and unjust world that is devoid of any morals. Edgar Rice Burroughs is another author whose work, A Princess of Mars, addresses the future and its possibilities. It is the story of John Carter, an American Civil War Veteran, who is mysteriously transported to Mars or Barsoom ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... He says, When we are forty let younger and stronger men than we throw us in the waste paper basket like useless manuscripts (4). Just as significant as Carter s significant prowess is his courageous, fearless, and violent demeanor. All of these traits are highly valued in Marinetti s Futurist Manifesto. Nonetheless, this initial glance of Burroughs work is highly deceptive. Though John Carter is violent, he only fights in self defense or in the defense of his dependents like his Martian watchdog, Woola, and his love interest, Dejah Thoris. He exhibits a sense of morals and justice that Marinetti clearly rejects in his manifesto. Burroughs stress on the value of morality is further solidified by the comparison between the Tharks, the green Martians, and the red Martians of Helium. The green Martians are warlike, uncultured, and unjust, which contributes to their backwardness. On the other hand, the red Martians are highly civilized because they show fairness, lawfulness, and love. (transition) Marinetti even states in the Manifesto of Futurism that, Beauty exists only in the struggle. There is no masterpiece that has not an aggressive character. This suits Marinetti s own piece because of the raw, violent, and sexual imagery used to describe the machinery in the future. For example, the reader is confronted with rogue locomotives and hungry, roaring automobiles . Furthermore, Marinetti says that the Futurists want to glorify war because it is the ... Netherlandish use of triptychs three distinct art pieces that simultaneously exist as individual images and as a collective picture usually were presented as devotional images and altarpieces. Joachim Patinir s triptych, The Penitence of Saint Jerome (c. 1512 1515, Metropolitan Museum of Art, NY), employs both the same form of traditional triptychs and the Netherlandish tradition of extended panoramic landscapes; however, the triptych breaks traditional convention. The three separate panels share the same landscape which allows the figures to exist in the same pictorial space. This maintains an unbroken continuation of the landscape, which adds not only to the content within a single panel, but to the entire narrative of the triptych. Yet, each individual panel is also worthy of its own analysis and discussion. The left panel depicts the first of three saints, Saint John the Baptist, in the midst of his signature baptizing of Christ. A river flows from the furthest reaches of the landscape down to the bottom frame, with Christ standing thigh deep in the water, a dove alighting from God perched in the clouds in the top left. Saint John kneels over him on the riverbank while a group of people huddle in the distance behind the baptism scene. In traditional style, the triptych simultaneously depicts a central scene as well as past and future narrative events present here as Saint John preaching chronologically before the actual baptism of Christ. • 23. An Occurrence At Owl Creek Bridge Literary Analysis Romanticized stories are those that show an idyllic yet unrealistic view of reality. It s the picturesque quality of romance that draws the reader in. One example of this is in An Occurence at Owl Creek Bridge by Ambrose Bierce. In An Occurence at Owl Creek Bridge, Bierce increases the impact of the story s ending by romantically depicting Farquhar s escape and following the romantic portrayal with a sudden snap back to reality. An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge follows a man named Peyton Farquhar before, during, and after his execution. The ending of the story is told to seem like Farquhar heroically escapes the execution and makes it back to his loving wife, however, in the last paragraph it is made clear that the romantically described escape was just what flashed before his eyes during his death. The romantic depiction of his imagined escape is what makes the ending so powerful. It brings the reader on a happy journey before harshly turning back to reality. ... St Gregory demonstrates this in his expositions on the Psalms, Psalm 60, The psalm, he says, speaks as though one single person is praying. But it is not a lone individual; it is a unity speaking as one. In Christ, He molds us into one person whose head is in heaven and whose limbs are toiling on earth. For others, it is an opportunity to return home to the comfort of family and friends. Yet other students take advantage of the opportunity to earn some money. However, it can also be a time of change. Seamus Heaney s Mid Term Break brilliantly depicts the feeling of loss by using irony, imagery, time and symbolism to detail the timing of events when a tragedy occurs in his family. Heaney first uses irony in the title giving readers the sense that the poem will be about the exciting and fun times of a school break. The word mid term references a point in time as Heaney begins to describe the time line of events of a student when a personal tragedy occurs back home. Another reference to time is the word break used here to signify that something has come to an end. Heaney writes the poem in a chronological order to show how he dealt with the emotional aspect of death as a student. The poem begins with I sat all morning in the college sick bay (l. 1) to establish the starting time and provides the approximate age (time) of the student. The use of the word sick is a clue that the break is not a typical ending to the school term. When someone goes to the nurse s office during school, it is usually because they are sick. Summary Of Power Dynamics In Bronte s Jane Eyre Power dynamics in Brontë s Jane Eyre have been examined in a multitude of ways, including the centralisation of slaves and masters (Zonana), and Dupras reading of the importance of economic status and depravity. However, this critical response will focus on how the ultimate form of power, and therefore the formation of power dynamics, stems from Jane s position as an unreliable, biased narrator. The extract from chapter twenty seven, wherein Rochester tells Jane about Bertha s voyage and confinement to Thornfield, ultimately displays how Jane as the narrator challenges the influence of masculinity, and how power structures are superimposed by female narrative voice. Similarly, how Jane s voice furthers power imbalances between her and Bertha, as well as how she holds power over the reader s impressions of these characters. It can be argued that Jane s narrative voice within the extract challenges Rochester s pre existing masculine power, and thus elevates the experiences of women in society. This is shown through Rochester s display of bigamy later in the extract; Jane narrates an arguably accurate account of Rochester s speech, lamenting he was convinced that I could and ought remarry. Brontë s use of language such as convinced gives connotations in this instance of male entitlement, as Rochester refuses to acknowledge or follow the known law. Previously, the higher full fare prices discouraged small business travel; small businesses would either decide against travel or incur the cost of a Saturday night stay and purchase a reduced fare ticket. By reducing the full coach fares, small businesses will be able to purchase more convenient flights at more economical prices. Large businesses, on the other hand, may be negatively impacted. Since many large businesses had negotiated discount rate contracts with airlines, the new full coach fare may be higher than these negotiated fares. For large businesses that did not have negotiated contracts, the fares will be lower than the previous full fare rate. Leisure travelers overall will be made better off by the new fare structure. These travelers have more flexibility and can take advantage of the advance purchase discounts and Saturday night stay discounts. An exception to this is leisure travelers who had found loop holes in the old fare system by using creative ticketing and waiting for deep discounts. These leisure travelers may pay higher rates because the deep discounts will no longer be offered. c. Why did each of American s competitors react to the fare changes the way they did? • 41. The Incarnation Of Jesus The Christ Christopher Davis THE380 Christ Church Integrative/ Research Essay 2 March 17, 2015 Interpretation: The Incarnation of Jesus the Christ Over 2,000 years there has been endless debates pertaining to Jesus the Christ. The main issue is how a man can be truly divine and fully human? It seems paradoxical because of the combination of two separate natures, but it is a unique act of forgiveness by God. There are in fact clues to show how and, why Jesus is in fact fully divine along with fully human. There are links that trace Jesus historically. Due to these historic biblical resources, it makes understanding the divine subdivision of Jesus hard to understand. How does one come to terms with the fully divine side of Jesus? Is it only mythicized biblical texts or devout faith in the biblical tradition? There is no definite way to prove history because there is no way to go back in time. But there are clues within biblical text to show the humanity of Jesus. The first trace of evidence to show that Jesus was fully human is displayed in the Gospel of John. The word became flesh (John 1:14). This is evidence to show that Jesus took on the logos; which brings God s word, and will into humanity directly. Indication shows that Jesus exhibited human traits such as emotion. Jesus offered up prayers and supplications, with loud cries and tears (Hebrews 5:7) Jesus was fleshly, and maintained human qualities that were hard to deny. More evidence that proved the incarnation of Jesus ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

However, in Knitwaves, when the plaintiff, a clothing manufacturer claimed that the defendant had copied two sweaters that were created and copyrighted by the plaintiff, the court ruled that the two sweater designs at issue were substantially similar because the alleged infringed work copied the original contribution of the copyrighted work. 71 F.3d 996. In addition, the court reasoned that the sole use of Knitwaves sweaters as reference materials and the selection, coordination and arrangement of patterns was enough to constitute copyright infringement.
