To believe or not to believe that is the question....
To believe or not to believe that is the question. Robertson Davies depicts a novel in which two
opposing characters strive for self completion. The journey of completing one s self is one of Jung
s archetypes. According to Jung, completing both the body and soul lies within the characteristics
of the psyche. The psyche is composed of three parts: the collective unconscious, ego and the
personal unconscious. The collective unconscious is what people come into this world knowing,
how children are shaped as adults through their childhood experiences and parental influences. The
ego is the image people believe they are. It is this image which people pursue through the rest of
their lives until they achieve self completion. Lastly, the... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Dempster s face (Davies 70). Dunstan is having an illusion of Mrs. Dempster as a Madonna after
experiencing a blow of shrapnel. Seeing Mrs. Dempster as a Madonna shows how much respect
Ramsay has for women. Staunton on the other hand sees women just as physical objects as he
sees many of the other things in his life. A man with my physical needs can t be tied down to
one woman especially not a woman who doesn t see sex as a partnership who doesn t give
anything, who just lies there like a damned sandbag (Davies 175). Staunton throughout the novel
has cheated on his girlfriends or wives. He does not respect women at all compared to Ramsay
who sees Mrs. Dempster as a saint. Staunton s capitalist and materialistic ideas are never made
clearer than at the point where he decides to leave his father. He was going to be a very rich man
richer than his father by far and he was getting ready (Davies 105). Having grown up in a rich
family, Staunton developed a greed for money and a materialistic attitude. He is following in his
father s identity rather than searching for who he truly is, as Ramsay does when he is a child.
Ramsay is very curious about the world and wants to learn more. He is very interested in many
different fields such as magic and saints. He is continuously trying to expand his knowledge to

Juicing Research Paper
There are number of appliances out in the market which can be a great addition to your kitchen.
There are so many products to choose; sometimes it is very difficult to figure out which ones are
best suited for your kitchen. A juicer is fairly useless appliance, some people may feel, however
many do not realize the benefits of juicing.
Juicing is great idea for any diet with so many health concerns out there. It creates healthy juice
drink fairly easily. It is much easier to purchase juice from the store but most of these juices
simply do not have that same fresh squeezed taste. The freshness created by juicing cannot be
replicated by processed or prepackaged, store bought juice drink.
Juicing is also a great way to get in that daily serving of vegetable, that everyone seems to hate so
much. When it comes to juicing, many people think of fruit juices, however vegetable juicing is
just as simple fresh and healthy. Many people may not like the taste of vegetable juices as much as

Cultural Beliefs Of Rape Culture
Almost two thirds of sexual assault is committed by someone known to the victim. Yet rape and
sexual assault are one of the least reported crime in the united states with only 39% of attacks being
reported to the police each year. Rape culture has been present throughout history in the entire world
and sadly it continues to exist. Rapeculture needs to be talked about more openly, so victims are not
afraid to accuse their rapist or attacker. Communities should come together to create a culture of
care and stop shaming men, women, and children into victim blaming. Educating society about
what is right and wrong while offering victims support can potentially prevent rapes from occurring
and putting the sick people who committed the crime into prison.
Culture encompasses behavior, belief, social interactions, values, underlying assumptions, interests,
experiences, upbringing, and habits. Culture is almost like a personality, and it has become key in
the interconnected world we live in which is made up of so many different societies, but it is
teeming with conflicts that deal with religion and ethnical beliefs. But this where being culturally
competent comes in. Cultural competence is about our will and actions to understand other people
s beliefs, to be respectful and be open minded to cultural perspectives different than our own. In the
western world there are many people who do not believe that rape culture exists in developed
countries. Many believe rape culture cannot exist

Interview As A Dentist Interview
I have decided to perform my Dentist interview on a former roommate of mine who has decided
to commit four years of his life to the military as an Army Dentist. He did this because he has a
deeply embedded passion to serve his country, the United States of America (U.S.). His name is

country of Taiwan. He studied very hard in Taiwan in order to obtain a full academic scholarship
to Texas Tech University, located in Lubbock, Texas. Robert has always dreamed about becoming a
U.S. citizen and joining the Dental profession was going to aid him in his quest. Robert eventually
got accepted into the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry(LLUSD) and soon thereafter his
acceptance, the next day, which is rare, signed up to commit his life to the U.S. Army. Robert
pictured his life and dream and it was in the militaryservice. Upon graduating with his degree in
Doctor of Dental Surgery, Robert also subsequently acquired is U.S. citizenship. Robert is

The Importance Of Black Oppression In The Invisible Man...
Ralph Ellison s The Invisible Man is a fascinating novel about a nameless black man and his
struggle to become successful and find his true identity in a predominantly white society that
refuses to see him as person. Taking place in Harlem in the 1930 s, the story accurately depicts
the life of a black man and the many injustices he faces nearly every day. More than eighty seven
years later, African Americans still encounter numerous challenges similar to the ones the Invisible
man experienced. Today, many hip hop artists bring awareness to these problems through their
songs. Most notably, Kendrick Lamar s album To Pimp a Butterfly (March 15, 2015) deals with
the topics of black oppression, institutionalized racism, and an American system designed to
destroy African Americans. Despite genre and time differences, Kendrick Lamar s To Pimp a
Butterfly and The Invisible Man are essential works of art in order to inspire, educate, empower,
and promote social and political changes.
Through Dr. Bledsoe Ellison demonstrates numerous instances of black on black oppression.
Before being expelled from the University, the narrator threatens to expose Dr. Bledsoe because
Dr. Bledsoe wrongfully accuses him of causing Mr. Norton s, one of the school founders, injury.
To counter the narrator s warning, Bledsoe exclaims, I ve made my place in it and I ll have
every Negro in the country hanging on tree limbs by morning if it means staying where I am
(143). In other words, Bledsoe is willing to do anything in order to keep his power and remain on
top; Bledsoe believes the narrator has torn [the black race] down, and dragged the entire race into
slime (141). Ellison uses Bledsoe s reaction to display how black people have a crab in a barrel
mentality and will even, in the most extreme cases, have every Negro in the country hanging on
tree limbs. Instead of promoting black excellence in a racist society, Bledsoe attacks other African
Americans in order to please the rich, wealthy, and powerful white people. Furthermore, by lying
about job recommendations in New York, Dr. Bledsoe purposefully attempts to ruin the narrator s
entire life and cause him to be homeless; In one of the recommendation letters, Dr. Bledsoe states,

Accommodating the Daily Challenges of the Hearing Impaired...
Introduction
People who are hearing impaired experience issues at school, work, and in their personal life.
Although there are varying degrees of hearing impairments, there are several accommodations that
could be made to support individuals with hearing loss. Each individuals is unique therefore,
accommodations may vary from person to person. The March of Dimes defines a hearing
impairment as the decreased ability to hear and discriminate among sounds. There are several
degrees of hearing loss but the most important thing to remember is that any individual with a
hearing impairment will need accommodations that a person without a hearing impairment won t.
People often have preconceived ideas about people with disabilities and that can ... Show more

It restricts questions that can be asked about an applicant s disability before a job offer is made, and
it requires that employers make reasonable accommodation to the known physical or mental
limitations of otherwise qualified individuals with disabilities, unless it results in undue hardship
(US department of education, 2011).
It s important that individuals with disabilities and their support system are educated regarding
their rights to education and work.
Issues At School
Individuals with hearing impairments will require more attention and assistance than students
without hearing loss. It can be easy to assume that a child can keep up with the class if everything is
written on the board. Children may also avoid sitting where they can see the board because they do
not want to draw attention to themselves. Unfortunately, teachers may subconsciously point out to
the class the accommodations of the student with a disability (Murphy, 2006).
One aspect that is especially important is an issue that may arise during an emergency. For hearing
impaired individuals an emergency can be scary and confusing because they may not know what to
do. An educator must not assume that the student will understand what to do by following
classmates. The student must be taught what to do in an emergency in a way that he/she will
understand.

Whether it s with their family during the summer, or during the school year in elementary with
the entire class. It s a way to have a good time with friends and family and also a way to learn
more about certain species and their averments. In North American 140 Million people visit zoos
annually: that s more than baseball, basketball, football, and hockey combined. At a global scale
that 700 million people! However, there are still many people that believe that zoos and aquariums

People will say that they don t treat them right in zoos, and that they don t have enough rooms to
roam around, but zookeepers and scientists give all the animals specific training, exercise and
food to meet their nutritional requirements. Zoos may actually more beneficial for some of the
animals because they don t have competition. Greco say in his article, In the wild, food resources
are temporally and spatially dispersed this means that it may be hard to find food hasn t already
been eating or that isn t too far away. Next, exercise plans have been implanted especially for
elephants to reduce pod dermatitis, a bone disease they are generally prone to and also elephants
tend to be obese. To prevent this they teach elephants to stretch and staff directed walking.
(Greco 3) Moreover, staff are required to give good hygiene to most animals in the zo to prevent
any diseases and funguses. This shows the amazing care zoos give the animals to give them a
healthy lifestyle. In conclusion, zoos and aquariums are important in many ways. One being fo the
education of students, two being the help they give animals that are endangered, and three is the
fact they give good care the animals so they will be in a good healthy condition. Although zoos

Oedipus Opening Statement
Opening Statement: Oedipus s blindness, dethroning and his family s devastating end are all
credited to his flawed character and his error in judgment. He s foolish for thinking he could tempt
fate, he s vane for thinking he can change fate and he s blind for not realizing what fate had in
store for him. His foolishness, vanity and blindness resulted in his own tragic downfall.
Evidence:
On his quest for the murderer of Lauis, people are reluctant to speak, telling Oedipus the past is
better left alone. Upon speaking with Tiresias, Oedipus is warned not to pry into theses matters and

Personal Analysis ( Gender )
Personal Analysis (Gender) We all come from different cultures. Every culture has its own
customs and beliefs. Even as a young child, we become accustomed to all the traditions and
expectations that everyone around us has. When a child is born it does not know anything, but
parents focus on teaching the child to act the way they want them to. The child s first example is
at home, the child sees his/her parents; the dad goes to work provides for the family. The motheris at
home watching over the children, cleaning the house, and has the food ready for the family.
Expectations are learned we are not born knowing that we are expected to do anything. I am
from the beautiful city of Durango, Mexico. I came to California when I was around seven years
old. By that time I already knew what was expected of me. Even though I was so young I was
expected to help my mom clean, cook, act like a well respectful young lady, and help out with
my brothers and sisters. If I wanted to go out I had to do chores before I was allowed to even step
out of the house.
When my dad would go fishing, hunting, and go for honey, he would go far so he had to take a
lot of lunch to last him for however long it would take him, so me and my sister would help my
mom make lunch. In the little ranch that we lived; my dad had his field where he would harvest
all of his crops.me and my sister would have to walk all the way to take him his lunch wait for him

Pursuing Doctoral Studies For Academic Excellence Essay
I am mostly interested in pursuing doctoral studies to achieve my ultimate goal to become a
prolific researcher as well as an inspiring, knowledgeable university level teacher. Consequently,
in the short term, my goal is to gain knowledge and skills related to research and teaching
especially during my PhD program. Additionally, in the long run, I will spend most of my time
practicing the knowledge and skills that I will have already acquired by teaching classes and
seminars, doing research projects, as well as writing qualified academic articles and books. I will
dedicate most of the time that I have after gaining a Doctoratedegree in Business to the
advancement of the academic excellence.
In the meantime, I realize that at the moment my business knowledge is predominantly empirical
gained mostly from my background experience both professional and academic (MBA). It is
wide in nature as it covers many aspects of business practices. Yet, I miss the depth of the
business knowledge. Therefore, my understanding on a more theoretical background of business
and economic phenomena is limited. Pursuing a doctoral study would undoubtedly be necessary
for me to enhance my understanding, particularly in terms of theory and concept. It is not only in
terms of my comprehension of the subjects per se but also in terms of skills necessary in theory
building and research capability. Those are, I deem, very critical elements in academic excellence.
Moreover, I believe, all of these are

The Boston Tea Party and America’s Independence Essay
The Boston Tea Party and America s Independence
Throughout the course of history there have been many events leading up to the independence of
America. Some of them were small, whereas others were much more significant. One of the more
important events was the Boston Tea Party. This was when the colonists, in anger, boarded a ship
carrying many chests of fine teas, and hurled them overboard. The Boston Tea Party marked the
first act of open resistance to British rule. The Boston Tea Party alone was not the main event that
brought America her independence. However it was the larger of many little things that led up to
the revolutionary war. For example, if there would never have been a Tea Tax, then there never
would have been the need ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
They would then proceed to tear open the chests of tea and dump them overboard. That Sunday
night, December 16th, 1773, the plan was put into action. It worked just as they had wanted it to.
The near hundred men, all dressed as Indians, boarded the ship and with their tomahawks, they
broke the chests of tea open and succeeded in dumping 342 chests of tea into the Boston Harbor.
This was later named The Boston Tea Party, but for the British it was called a disaster.
As soon as King George III heard of the tea party, he was furious. In 1774, the British government
passed many laws in order to punish the colonists for their act of rebellion. Some people called
these laws the Punitive Acts, and some called them the Coercive Acts. However to most, they
were known as the Intolerable Acts. There were five Intolerable Acts all together. The first of
these was called the Boston Port Act. This law closed down the Boston port until the East India
Company was reimbursed for the tea that was ruined in the Boston Harbor. This upset the people
greatly, since this was the only port in Boston and the people of Boston thrived on commerce. The
bad thing about this law was that it punished the innocent as well as the guilty. The second of the
laws was a modification to the Massachusetts charter of 1691. It took away many of the rights of
self government that the province had enjoyed. The third measure stated that the British

the book. The theme is: Technology is portrayed as failing to make human life better.
The story, the Veldt, is about a nursery for two kids that have a mind of their own. They have a

system. He was a prominent black lawyer and believed that legal tradition inspired judicial
restraint, whereas legal realism inspired judicial activism. This not only sparked a change in
those that worked with Houston, but it incorporated using laws to help blacks with civil
injustices wherever possible. DuBois approached school integration and civil rights issues
through militant socialism. He believed that blacks needed to strengthen their own infrastructure
in order to gain a better social structure. This didn t sit well with the NAACP. I believe that
Houston had a better approach to the issue of school integration because his approach was
accepted by more individuals. DuBois offended more people by saying that blacks needed to

be across the river from his parents plantation. G. W. Morris s parents, Ann Barnett Elliott and
Colonel Lewis Morris, owned a large piece of land called Bull s Island along with a plantation
across the river that was called Block Island. G. W. Morris inherited those pieces of land and
renamed the plantations The Grove, he later built what is known as The Grove House in 1828.

My Life Journey
When I was a child my father always came to me and told me a quote, but over the years I have
changed it into my own and now I live by it everyday . Tomorrow is a brand new day, and a gift
from yesterday, if you ve failed rise from your ashes and create your own path and leave a trail
behind because you can not take others pathes to live your life, life is your adventure and what
you make of it. I have always loved life and the people that are in it, since i was a child i have
had the biggest dreams of going and doing anything I wanted to be and that nothing was going to
stop me. My success to that has been keeping to not only my quote but to my heart, and to
succeed I have stuck to these things: being determined, encouraging others, and hardworking. To
begin with I have always pushed through any struggle that has been tossed at me, and to clarify
that, during this past year, I went through a life changing operation. I had a benign bone tumor
growing, and it was taking over my lower front jaw bone. The surgery took place under my chin.
Doctors removed five of my teeth and the part of the bone that held the tumor. They replaced
what was missing with morphogenetic protein, cadaver s bone, and a titanium bar. Needless to
say, I have remained strong and pulled through this rough patch in my life. I always have a
brilliant smile upon my face, and I always am filled with euphoria. I am always ready for the next
challenge no matter how hard it is and, I will not stop fighting

Fair Trade Is An Organized Social Movement
Introduction:
Fair trade is an organized social movement. Its goal is to carry out trade under commercial
agreements where producers achieve better trading conditions and sustainability by setting
minimum prices at which distributors can sell their products. The movement is focused mainly on
products that are made and exported from developing nations to developed ones. Most commonly
products and commodities such as coffee, sugar, tea, honey, cotton, cocoa, gold and fruits etc from
countries like India, Brazil, Sri Lanka and African nations.
The following report looks at what the concept of Fair Trade means and the impact that it has on
producers, communities and the environment. It then proceeds on to the demographics
regarding consumers of fair trade products, who they are and what sort of products do they prefer
most. It shall look at why they do or do not opt for fair trade products and will provide advice to
retailers on how to improve sales of fair trade goods with a recommendation at end for people on
how to do their part in promoting the fair trade cause.
According to Fairtrade.org.uk;
Fair trade is about better prices, decent working conditions and fair terms of trade for farmers and
workers.
It s about supporting the development of thriving farming and worker communities that have more
control over their futures and protecting the environment in which they live and work.
People buy fair trade products as they cut the middleman. This means that when we buy a

Alchemy as the Precursor to Modern Medicine Practices
Chemical medicine originates from medical alchemy of the medieval period. Its nature was
controversial and the acceptance and practice of chemical medicine caused problems with those
who had strong ties with Scholasticism that rooted them in the Galenic tradition and made them
wary of new practices and innovations. The fact that chemical medicinebecame quite popular
thanks to the sixteenth century Swiss doctor Paracelsus only increased the controversial nature.
Paracelsus was well known for his miraculous cures as well as for rejecting the European medical
organization (De Vos, 2007).
Paula De Vos (2007) wrote an article about the introduction of chemical medicine into Mexican
medical practices during the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. She shares a case of a DoГ±a
Michaela de Sierra, whose legs had been paralysed for over 25 years but had been cured with a
series of medications that were a combination of traditional Galenic treatments and chemical
medicines. This shift of treatments, from the purely Galenic preparations to the inclusion of
chemical medicines, is validated by the appearance of contemporary pharmaceutical texts in the late
seventeenth and early eighteenth centuries. The change occurred at the same time to a similar
alteration in Spain. The inauguration of Charles II to the throne started an era of acceptance to
changes in medical practices. This medical development happened later in Spain and Mexico
compared to other European countries

Officer Discretion
The topic of this week had a few questions concerning officer discretion and the amount that
officer could exhibit in the course of their job. Where does the line between officer discretion
and obligation does began and end? The answer is about as clear as mud and varies depending
on the interaction. After reading a post from a fellow classmate I was informed that he had the
discretion to asses a warning citation in light of a teenager observed to by the officer breaking
many traffic laws. He had the ability issue a warning in the event the teenager informed his father
of the incident and his father gave the officer a call to verify. This was in total contrast to the

The act could by some be that the officer chose a utilitarian stance. The officer at the time was
engaged in removing the angry protestor from the event to allow the event to continue. That
was in fact a part of his duties to maintain order consider the safety of the candidate as it was his
event. The officer may have felt that to engage the individual that threw the elbow would have
allowed the protestor to escape and possibly cause harm to himself or the individual guilty of the
assault. Or perhaps the officer simply felt that the situation best be handled at a later date. All or
none of these considerations could have passed through the officer s mind because he certainly
was aware of the multiple television cameras as well as the cell phone cameras that were in and
around the event. I don t know whether the officer made a good decision I do know there was no
riot and not addition harm to either individual and there was an arrest made after the event and

of leeway in the day to day enforcement law still is not well defined. From the conflicting

How Do Advertisers Target Our Youth
Advertisers are using many different techniques to try to target our youth. Some of the ways
take place through schools, stores, and even in your own home. Now, i m going to explain
where and how advertisers target our youth. To start off with, one big way marketers target our
youth are at the store. Why? Simple because that s where they are selling there products and and
where they target kids the most. Marketers try to make eye contact levels on their products so it
attracts viewers eyes more easily. Their goal is to try to make interesting characters or thing that
pop so that it seems cool or good to them so kids will want it. It is stated in the film Marketingto
kids that Kids have to nag their parents approximately 9 times in order for them to respond or get
them whatever it is they want. They use that strategy because their parents will eventually get tired
of hearing them and let them get the product. Advertisers probably use this method a lot to get
marketers. Another way kids are targeted is at home. You can see ads on basically any electronic
device or any commercial on T.V. In fact most of the commercials we

Health Education Philosophy
To sell oneself as a health educator, I must become the solution. Individuals believe that we can
prepare and overcome obstacles in the health profession. Allowing others to know I am a health
educator I must sell myself as one who not only knows the knowledge, but am able to present it and
teach it to others.
Second, I must be specific in what I articulate. Having the knowledge to explain my actions or the
ideals related to the course is good, but being able to give examples is even better. Show promise
by letting others know how teamwork is important to overall fitness, and then give an example like
how your team came together to win a state championship or something.
Step three in selling oneself as a health educator, be positive. Health class/P.E. class is the highlight
of most kid s days. By creating a positive and happy atmosphere, students will be able to enjoy the
time they have in the classroom, and they might consider you their favorite teacher. ... Show more

Aktion T4 Euthanasia
In order to understand Germany s widespread acceptance of the 1933 Law for Prevention of
Hereditarily Diseased Offspring and the subsequent implementation of the T4 euthanasia program
in 1939, it is necessary to discuss the scientific origins of eugenics. Within this discussion a
distinction must also be made between genetics and eugenics. The study of genetics was founded
by German scientist, Gregor Mendel, in the years 1856 to 1863. Although the importance of
Mendel s work was not realized until sixteen years after his death in 1884, he continues to be

In order to give it the appearance of a wartime measure, he backdated it to September 1, 1939, the

amass support for his euthanasia program. His plans to eliminate life unworthy of life were first
developed and administered from the Fuhrer s address Tiergartenstrasse 4, under the code name
Aktion T4. This directive involved much of the German psychiatric community and was lead by
some of the nations most creditable physicians. The president of the German Red Cross and SS

his deputy director Victor Brack, and his personal physician Dr. Brandt. Each of these men were

to the end that patients considered incurable according to the best available human judgment of
their state health can be granted a mercy death. The T4 measure was further extended when
psychiatric professor, Werner Hyde and some other senior psychiatrists, joined the program. Under
the guidance of these psychiatrist a program was developed to identify the psychiatric institutions,
hospitals, and homes, that held chronically ill patients. Once identified the life or death of a patient
was left at the discretion of these medical practitioners. It is also important to note that death was

Being Green Is A Popular Song By Joe Raposo

signature line of the songs is still present in most of the cultures in these times. It is like a phrase
that has since appeared in most of the situations in their working and pop cultures. It is most of
the times quoted as expression of melancholy over the life of the one. The song has a link with
questions of identity and individuality, but also has a strong collaboration with the themes of
celebration and self love of diversity, especially in the color senses, that was the main social aspect
in the culture of America at the point of the debuting of songs. With the passage of times, as green
has been used as more famous color, the references to the concept of the environmentalism,

Policy Memorandum: Title XI

Students Seek Change for Title XI Title XI at Glance Every time an American citizen turns on the
news, there is a headline involving a sexual harassment case or unfortunately, cases of rape. Most
news stories are focused on a questionable school policy that fails to have reasonable judgment and
punishment for students involved. Recent cases in the news, like the Brock Turner case has turned
viral due to the publicity and exposure it had among young people. This particular case was
something that was so real to students in both high school and college, that millennial s began to
alter their perception of how insensitively harassment cases are handled. The Title XI policy that
is being enforced in school systems now, is a policy that has been up for debate by those who
enforce the policy and those the policy effects for years now. The policy belongs to the education
amendments of 1972. One might say that the policy is outdated. Although the policy has seen
some updates to its history, the language of the act is irrelevant in context to current situations the
school systems are facing now. The question remains, how does one change the policy and what
policies need to be made. The policy itself states that, No person in the United States shall, on the
basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to

Exploring Spirituality in Angels in America
It s the late 1980 s, the age of exciting new technology and uncompromising prosperity. A golden
time when all is easily attainable in life and nothing is off limits; fast track careers, an abundance
of wealth and new expressions of sexual experimentation. It is certainly a time when religion
appear to have taken a back seat in the lives of so many young up and coming professionals. In his
play, Angels in America, Tony Kushner uses religious imagery and biblical references to help his
characters find meaning in modern America as well as a means for convincing the audience that

That even though God seems so far removed from the trials and tribulations of the modern world

character to seek meaning from angels. For another character of Mormon faith, angels are used
to further come to terms with their religious and sexual identity. Mormon ideologies also play a
significant role in the idea of modern spirituality found in Angels. Joe Pitt, a clerk for the
Federal Court of Appeals, is a Mormon struggling with his sexuality. In the beginning of the play
we are introduced to Joe s wife, Harper Pitt, who he is fiercely devoted to even though she is a
pill popping addict and questions her faith. As the play progresses Joe comes out as a
homosexual and has to deal with teachings of the church: JOE: There was a picture I d look at

means your soul thrown down in the dust, your heart torn out from God s.(II.ii) This story of
Jacob and the angel can be interpreted as Joe s sexual identity and his spiritual identity at war with
each other. Joe sees himself as Jacob and his morals and upbringing as the angel.

restore harmony to the body. The two main ideas are a holistic view and treatment based on a
differential diagnosis. To utilise those principles there are a number of theories to understand how
the body functions so we can understand its pathology. Theories such as yin yang theory, five
element theory, vital substance theory, and basic knowledge of qiare the basis for the treatments in
TCM. Treatments including acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, ... Show more content on

Acupuncture is the practice of puncturing the dermis of the skin at a specific place, called an
acupuncture point, to change the way the bodies qi is flowing. Needles can be used to reduce,
renforce, or apply even stimulation depending on the symptoms that a person shows. Another
method applying renforcing, reducing, or even stimulus is cupping.
Cupping is where a cup with a low pressure inside is placed on a person s skin. There are three
types of cupping, fire cupping, dry cupping, and wet cupping. In fire cupping, a glass cup that
has had a cotton ball burned inside is used. The cup can be left in one place or it can be moved
along the body. Moving it across the body can create the sensation of being massaged while
leaving long red marks because the low pressure in the cup causes the capillaries in the skin to
burst. When the cup is left in one place it can lead to a round mark. Another style of cupping that
leaves a mark is wet cupping. Wet cupping where an incision is made then a cup is placed over
the incision. The cup places over top can be applied either by fire cupping or dry cupping. Both
required special training to perform unlike dry cupping which does not require any special
training. Dry cupping is where plastic cups are placed on the body. The low pressure can be
created with a small hand pump. Dry cupping with give the same type of bruise as fire cupping and
has the same benefit.

Spring 2017 Legal Cases Review In the field of special education there have been several court
cases and laws that have shaped the way that children with special needs are educated in our
country. Each one has added to the changing face of education. One court case that brought
assessment to the forefront was Larry P. v. Riles in 1971. Jose P. v. Ambach was also instrumental
in changing the area of special education assessment.
Larry P. v. Riles 1971 Larry P. was black child who attended school in the San Francisco Unified

The defendant in the case was the Board of Education of the City of New York. Jose P.
maintained that thousands of students were being denied a free and appropriate public
education. The courts ruled against the Board of Education of New York and several changes
were made. Initial evaluations would need to be complete within 30 days from parental consent
or 40 days from receipt of request to evaluate. Services must be offered to the student within 60
days. The courts further ruled that if a change needs to be made for a student who already
receives services there is a 30 day evaluation timeline and a 60 day placement timeline (DiNapoli
Bleiwas, 2008).
Undoubtedly, this had an impact on the school system. Timelines are strictly tracked to ensure
compliance. According to DiNapoli and Bleiwas (2008), there are almost 170 different languages
spoken in New York. This can make meeting timelines difficulty since children must be tested in
their native language. Although it is imperative that students receive the education that they need it
can be very difficult to meet timelines in certain

city to follow the Christian faith. The main idea that was on Christians minds was of sex,
marriage, property and a career. Augustine wants to be baptized under the Christian faith when he

Jimi Hendrix Biography Essay
Most people are either born predominately right handed or left handed. There are some people
who are ambidextrous. But, can you imagine being able to play the guitar either right or left
handed? This biography essay is about a guitarist who is an icon in the world of music by the
name of Johnny Allen Hendrix or Jimi Hendrix. According to the Rolling Stones, Hendrix had
plenty of talent to take a right handed Fender Stratocaster and play it upside down with his left
hand. Hendrix was extremely creative in his ability to not only use his guitaras an instrument but
had the capacity to exude a new source of electronic sound. In doing so, Hendrix turned electric
guitarplaying into a new technique of modifying sound. Rolling Stones stated... Show more content

In 1966, Hendrix then moved to London where he met other artists such as Eric Clapton, Jeff
Beck, Peter Townshend, The Beatles, Brain Jones and Mick Jagger. As Hendrix become more
proficient and honed in on his own skill and style of using the wah wah pedal, he formed another
band called The Hendrix Experience. While in London, he became a new phenomenal success.
After returning to America in 1967, Hendrix went on stage at the Monterey Pop Festival in which
he gave unforgettable performance. According to Biography.com, Hendrix won over American
music fans with his stunning performance at the Monterey Pop Festival, which ended with Hendrix
lighting his guitar on fire. Information gleamed from the article Rock Music as an Art Form from
Reason to Rock Jimi Hendrix was the single most inventive electric guitarist in rock. He did more
to extend the reach of the instrument than anyone else of his generation. According the Reason to
Rock, Hendrix single handedly demolished traditional definitions of music by playing and
recording sounds made with his guitar that defied transposition or even explanation. In 1969,
Hendrix demonstrated this ability in his hair raising and thrilling performance at Woodstock in
which he played The Star Spangled Banner. Hendrix took the original composition back to its core
elements and rebuilt it on a new platform through which his talent and skill as a phenomenal
guitarist was both illustrated and illuminated with sounds of sonic explosions in the

Argumentative Essay On Magic Mushrooms
Psychedelic Mushrooms
Psychedelic mushrooms are rumored to have a long and holy background, which dates back to
9000 B.C in North African indigenous cultures. Rock paintings, statues and manuscripts depict
what some historians believe to be magic mushrooms. This idea is highly controversial, as other
historians claim that none of the evidence found is definitive, and that people are seeing what they
want to see. Westerners began to eat magic mushrooms during the 1950s; throughout the 1960s and
1970s, hallucinogenic drugs became widely popular and psychedelic mushroom use became
inextricably tied to the hippie movement.
Along with the history of these mushrooms, there are other interesting facts about these
hallucinogens. At least 144 species ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
That does not include over the counter drugs like Tylenol and Claritin which are used to help
with sickness. Taking illegal drugs will harm you and possibly others around you. Whether or
not a drug is legal or illegal, people will still find a way to do it. People want what they can t
have. Think, if coffee was illegal, would more people want it? (I do not know the answer to
this). However, that does not mean that we should just give in and start making drugs legal,
because that is us practically putting drugs into people s hands. Drug addicts can end up on
Welfare and find themselves troubled to find a job. Drugs cause people to make bad decisions
and can get people killed. Pregnant women taking drugs could cause their baby to have birth
defects. They can damage your brain, heart, and other important organs. People who support
legalizing drugs state that the government should be more focused on other crimes such as
robbery, murder and rape. These offenses are closely tied to the drug market, so if we could get
rid of these unnecessary drugs, we could decrease crime rates. There are better, safer alternatives
to using drugs. Some may argue that people should be able to put whatever they please into their
bodies, but putting drugs into your body will ruin yours and potentially others around you s life. If
heroin was all of a sudden legalized, no, everyone

Stressors And Criminal Behavior
Stressors and their Origins
Literature and studies have shown that there is a link between child abuse and criminal behavior. A
great societal concern is criminal behavior in adolescence. The risk factors of youth criminality
have become a rising interest. One of the most consistent factors associated with adolescent criminal
behavior is child abuse. Crime related stress can start from a very young age and may not even
affect an individual until much later on in adulthood. Evidence has shown that young people in
America witness large amounts of violence at home and in their community. Evidence has also
shown that recent exposure to violence in the community as well as a history of receiving traumatic
news, recent life events, and to associate

Galactic Inheritors
Prepare For Corporate Wars
Galactic Inheritors is a 4X Space Strategy game that is more about the space and less about

the gameplay that dictates what makes a 4X Strategy game successful?
Choose your race wisely.Choose your race wisely.
First and foremost, Galactic Inheritors should not be the first game anyone plays within the 4X
Strategy genre the player will become easily frustrated. When the game is started, it throws you into
the game without any helpful advice, details, or hints. However, it is unhelpful and counter
productive. Also I managed to make the game stop responding while trying to use the tutorials,

If a player is looking for a place to start within the genre, then I d recommend StarDrive, the
tutorials in that game take you step by step and covers everything that will appear within the 4X
Strategy genre.
As far as story lines go within this genre, Galactic Inheritors shines and sets itself apart from other
titles when it comes to story. If a player is seeking for depth with a story, then Galactic Inheritors is
designed with that in mind. It s a lore filled universe that is telling a story and that will warrant
multiple playthroughs if someone wants to experience everything that the story has to offer.
If story isn t your main concern and are more interested in the UI, gameplay, features, and ships,
then Galactic Civilizations III is probably more what you are looking for. Even though Galactic
Inheritors is a turn based game, I quickly discovered that if you Alt Tab between turns to do some
work or take care of something online, that when you come back to the game, it will no longer be

Speech On Circus Animals
A tiger jumping through a ring of fire. An elephant standing on his head. Classic circus animal
tricks. The sea of laughing children shriek with delight as each animal performs more and more
astounding acts. What if I told you that Nala the tiger is starved, beaten, tortured into submission?
What if I told you that every night, Freddy the elephant is chained in a metal cage, his sanity
slipping into the darkness? Would you be laughing then?
Good morning parents and teachers and welcome to the 2017 School Ethics Forum. Today I will
focus on two compelling ethical reason why the horrific treatment of animals in circuses is morally
repulsive. One, circus animals suffer fatal injuries during training. Two, the unnatural restrictions of
circus life have a devastating impact on the animals mental health.
Firstly, the fatal injuries inflicted on animals in circuses is a direct violation of the ethical
principle of harm. Starvation, whips, muzzles, bull hooks, electric pods. These torture devices
favoured by circus animal trainers inflict pain and instill terror in innocent animals until they
unquestioningly obey every single command. Simple and effective, and cruel, evil and sadistic.
How can a trainer listen to harrowing screams of excruciating pain and continue to whip the
animal again and again? What kind of heartless monster can watch the soul, the very life drain
from a living being and not stop? At every show, Nala the tiger leaps through a ring of fire. Tigers

Triangle Fire 1911
Blamelessness to Collective Guilt: Business and Government The Triangle Fire of 1911 was an
event that resulted in a drastic shift in the way government oversight worked to check private
business. Before the fire, American government had little to do with laws and regulations that
controlled the actions of private businesses. To cross the line would mean to cross the sanctity of
what made a business and business. The period following the Triangle Fire of 1911 would see
this line be destroyed, as New York grew to develope one of the most advanced and effective
regulatory bodies in the world. This model would then be easily copied by other states, eventually
gaining stature on a national level. 1911 s tragic fire resulting in the deaths of... Show more content

Interfering with the actions of private business was considered taboo, and the government rarely
acted upon cases out of fear and propagating socialism. The horrific and very public death of 146
men, women, and children on March 11th, 1911 shocked the nation and forced action. One can
wonder what would have happened if Blanck and Harris were to have been found guilty by a jury
of their peers. Would the general public have been satisfied? Would the fight for labour rights
continued to be fought by organized labour groups alone? The very fact that the deaths were under
no one s direct responsibility pushed the burden of guilt into the public view. The government in
this instances was forced to fix weak legislation that made such an incident happen. In doing so
they began a long process of breaking down the taboo which prevented government from
interfering with private business operations. If firms could not be trusted to maintain the safety of
their employees, the government would be forced to step in and implement such measures. The
Factory Safety Commission went on to create one of the most progressive protective measures for
workers, implementing 38 new laws in New York, becoming a model for the whole

Second, the conch is also a symbol of value. When Ralph first finds the conch, Piggy tells him
that it is valuable. This emphasis on value is not natural in uncivilized creatures. The idea of
value is created by society. The conch represents the value placed on things that are rare hard to
obtain in our society, much like a fancy car or an old work of art. With an emphasis on value
comes feelings of jealousy and envy. This is only natural and can be seen when Jack decides that
the conch should only be used by those he sees as worthy. For good or bad, the conch becomes the
only tie to the concept of matieral value that they boys have left.
Finally, the conch is also a symbol of power. This is because whoever holds it becomes the only
person who may speak during the meetings. In this context, holding the conch represents having
authority. Whoever holds the conch then has the authority to speak and all others must wait until it
is their turn to hold the conch. This is much like standing at the podium or holding the microphone
in a civilized society. Here the conch also represents the organization found in a democratic
government and the idea of raising one s hand in school. Both a democratic government and a
school are organizations that rely on the concept of everyone having a voice and a chance to
express themselves. The conch is the only link left to

  • 4. To believe or not to believe that is the question.... To believe or not to believe that is the question. Robertson Davies depicts a novel in which two opposing characters strive for self completion. The journey of completing one s self is one of Jung s archetypes. According to Jung, completing both the body and soul lies within the characteristics of the psyche. The psyche is composed of three parts: the collective unconscious, ego and the personal unconscious. The collective unconscious is what people come into this world knowing, how children are shaped as adults through their childhood experiences and parental influences. The ego is the image people believe they are. It is this image which people pursue through the rest of their lives until they achieve self completion. Lastly, the... Seeing Mrs. Dempster as a Madonna shows how much respect Ramsay has for women. Staunton on the other hand sees women just as physical objects as he sees many of the other things in his life. A man with my physical needs can t be tied down to one woman especially not a woman who doesn t see sex as a partnership who doesn t give anything, who just lies there like a damned sandbag (Davies 175). Staunton throughout the novel has cheated on his girlfriends or wives. He does not respect women at all compared to Ramsay who sees Mrs. Dempster as a saint. Staunton s capitalist and materialistic ideas are never made clearer than at the point where he decides to leave his father. He was going to be a very rich man richer than his father by far and he was getting ready (Davies 105). Having grown up in a rich family, Staunton developed a greed for money and a materialistic attitude. He is following in his father s identity rather than searching for who he truly is, as Ramsay does when he is a child. Ramsay is very curious about the world and wants to learn more. He is very interested in many different fields such as magic and saints. He is continuously trying to expand his knowledge to hopefully be able to better interpret who he is. ...I wanted to argue about everything, expand ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 6. Cultural Beliefs Of Rape Culture Almost two thirds of sexual assault is committed by someone known to the victim. Yet rape and sexual assault are one of the least reported crime in the united states with only 39% of attacks being reported to the police each year. Rape culture has been present throughout history in the entire world and sadly it continues to exist. Rapeculture needs to be talked about more openly, so victims are not afraid to accuse their rapist or attacker. Communities should come together to create a culture of care and stop shaming men, women, and children into victim blaming. Educating society about what is right and wrong while offering victims support can potentially prevent rapes from occurring and putting the sick people who committed the crime into prison. Culture encompasses behavior, belief, social interactions, values, underlying assumptions, interests, experiences, upbringing, and habits. Culture is almost like a personality, and it has become key in the interconnected world we live in which is made up of so many different societies, but it is teeming with conflicts that deal with religion and ethnical beliefs. But this where being culturally competent comes in. Cultural competence is about our will and actions to understand other people s beliefs, to be respectful and be open minded to cultural perspectives different than our own. In the western world there are many people who do not believe that rape culture exists in developed countries. Many believe rape culture cannot exist ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 8. The Importance Of Black Oppression In The Invisible Man... Ralph Ellison s The Invisible Man is a fascinating novel about a nameless black man and his struggle to become successful and find his true identity in a predominantly white society that refuses to see him as person. Taking place in Harlem in the 1930 s, the story accurately depicts the life of a black man and the many injustices he faces nearly every day. More than eighty seven years later, African Americans still encounter numerous challenges similar to the ones the Invisible man experienced. Today, many hip hop artists bring awareness to these problems through their songs. Most notably, Kendrick Lamar s album To Pimp a Butterfly (March 15, 2015) deals with the topics of black oppression, institutionalized racism, and an American system designed to destroy African Americans. Despite genre and time differences, Kendrick Lamar s To Pimp a Butterfly and The Invisible Man are essential works of art in order to inspire, educate, empower, and promote social and political changes. Through Dr. Bledsoe Ellison demonstrates numerous instances of black on black oppression. Before being expelled from the University, the narrator threatens to expose Dr. Bledsoe because Dr. Bledsoe wrongfully accuses him of causing Mr. Norton s, one of the school founders, injury. To counter the narrator s warning, Bledsoe exclaims, I ve made my place in it and I ll have every Negro in the country hanging on tree limbs by morning if it means staying where I am (143). In other words, Bledsoe is willing to do anything in order to keep his power and remain on top; Bledsoe believes the narrator has torn [the black race] down, and dragged the entire race into slime (141). Ellison uses Bledsoe s reaction to display how black people have a crab in a barrel mentality and will even, in the most extreme cases, have every Negro in the country hanging on tree limbs. Instead of promoting black excellence in a racist society, Bledsoe attacks other African Americans in order to please the rich, wealthy, and powerful white people. Furthermore, by lying about job recommendations in New York, Dr. Bledsoe purposefully attempts to ruin the narrator s entire life and cause him to be homeless; In one of the recommendation letters, Dr. Bledsoe states, ... It s important that individuals with disabilities and their support system are educated regarding their rights to education and work. Issues At School Individuals with hearing impairments will require more attention and assistance than students without hearing loss. It can be easy to assume that a child can keep up with the class if everything is written on the board. Children may also avoid sitting where they can see the board because they do not want to draw attention to themselves. Unfortunately, teachers may subconsciously point out to the class the accommodations of the student with a disability (Murphy, 2006). One aspect that is especially important is an issue that may arise during an emergency. For hearing impaired individuals an emergency can be scary and confusing because they may not know what to do. An educator must not assume that the student will understand what to do by following classmates. The student must be taught what to do in an emergency in a way that he/she will understand. ... • 13. Personal Analysis ( Gender ) Personal Analysis (Gender) We all come from different cultures. Every culture has its own customs and beliefs. Even as a young child, we become accustomed to all the traditions and expectations that everyone around us has. When a child is born it does not know anything, but parents focus on teaching the child to act the way they want them to. The child s first example is at home, the child sees his/her parents; the dad goes to work provides for the family. The motheris at home watching over the children, cleaning the house, and has the food ready for the family. Expectations are learned we are not born knowing that we are expected to do anything. I am from the beautiful city of Durango, Mexico. I came to California when I was around seven years old. By that time I already knew what was expected of me. Even though I was so young I was expected to help my mom clean, cook, act like a well respectful young lady, and help out with my brothers and sisters. If I wanted to go out I had to do chores before I was allowed to even step out of the house. When my dad would go fishing, hunting, and go for honey, he would go far so he had to take a lot of lunch to last him for however long it would take him, so me and my sister would help my mom make lunch. Pursuing Doctoral Studies For Academic Excellence Essay I am mostly interested in pursuing doctoral studies to achieve my ultimate goal to become a prolific researcher as well as an inspiring, knowledgeable university level teacher. Consequently, in the short term, my goal is to gain knowledge and skills related to research and teaching especially during my PhD program. Additionally, in the long run, I will spend most of my time practicing the knowledge and skills that I will have already acquired by teaching classes and seminars, doing research projects, as well as writing qualified academic articles and books. I will dedicate most of the time that I have after gaining a Doctoratedegree in Business to the advancement of the academic excellence. In the meantime, I realize that at the moment my business knowledge is predominantly empirical gained mostly from my background experience both professional and academic (MBA). It is wide in nature as it covers many aspects of business practices. Yet, I miss the depth of the business knowledge. Therefore, my understanding on a more theoretical background of business and economic phenomena is limited. Pursuing a doctoral study would undoubtedly be necessary for me to enhance my understanding, particularly in terms of theory and concept. It is not only in terms of my comprehension of the subjects per se but also in terms of skills necessary in theory building and research capability. Those are, I deem, very critical elements in academic excellence. Moreover, I believe, all of these are ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 15. The Boston Tea Party and America’s Independence Essay The Boston Tea Party and America s Independence Throughout the course of history there have been many events leading up to the independence of America. Some of them were small, whereas others were much more significant. One of the more important events was the Boston Tea Party. This was when the colonists, in anger, boarded a ship carrying many chests of fine teas, and hurled them overboard. The Boston Tea Party marked the first act of open resistance to British rule. The Boston Tea Party alone was not the main event that brought America her independence. However it was the larger of many little things that led up to the revolutionary war. They would then proceed to tear open the chests of tea and dump them overboard. That Sunday night, December 16th, 1773, the plan was put into action. It worked just as they had wanted it to. The near hundred men, all dressed as Indians, boarded the ship and with their tomahawks, they broke the chests of tea open and succeeded in dumping 342 chests of tea into the Boston Harbor. This was later named The Boston Tea Party, but for the British it was called a disaster. As soon as King George III heard of the tea party, he was furious. In 1774, the British government passed many laws in order to punish the colonists for their act of rebellion. Some people called these laws the Punitive Acts, and some called them the Coercive Acts. However to most, they were known as the Intolerable Acts. There were five Intolerable Acts all together. The first of these was called the Boston Port Act. This law closed down the Boston port until the East India Company was reimbursed for the tea that was ruined in the Boston Harbor. This upset the people greatly, since this was the only port in Boston and the people of Boston thrived on commerce. The bad thing about this law was that it punished the innocent as well as the guilty. The second of the laws was a modification to the Massachusetts charter of 1691. He was a prominent black lawyer and believed that legal tradition inspired judicial restraint, whereas legal realism inspired judicial activism. This not only sparked a change in those that worked with Houston, but it incorporated using laws to help blacks with civil injustices wherever possible. DuBois approached school integration and civil rights issues through militant socialism. He believed that blacks needed to strengthen their own infrastructure in order to gain a better social structure. This didn t sit well with the NAACP. I believe that Houston had a better approach to the issue of school integration because his approach was accepted by more individuals. Its nature was controversial and the acceptance and practice of chemical medicine caused problems with those who had strong ties with Scholasticism that rooted them in the Galenic tradition and made them wary of new practices and innovations. The fact that chemical medicinebecame quite popular thanks to the sixteenth century Swiss doctor Paracelsus only increased the controversial nature. Paracelsus was well known for his miraculous cures as well as for rejecting the European medical organization (De Vos, 2007). Paula De Vos (2007) wrote an article about the introduction of chemical medicine into Mexican medical practices during the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. She shares a case of a DoГ±a Michaela de Sierra, whose legs had been paralysed for over 25 years but had been cured with a series of medications that were a combination of traditional Galenic treatments and chemical medicines. This shift of treatments, from the purely Galenic preparations to the inclusion of chemical medicines, is validated by the appearance of contemporary pharmaceutical texts in the late seventeenth and early eighteenth centuries. The change occurred at the same time to a similar alteration in Spain. The inauguration of Charles II to the throne started an era of acceptance to changes in medical practices. The potential legal risks associated with the downsizing situation would be discrimination, such as how to select the employees that will be laid off (Benn, Dunphy, Griffiths, 2014). • 36. Exploring Spirituality in Angels in America It s the late 1980 s, the age of exciting new technology and uncompromising prosperity. A golden time when all is easily attainable in life and nothing is off limits; fast track careers, an abundance of wealth and new expressions of sexual experimentation. It is certainly a time when religion appear to have taken a back seat in the lives of so many young up and coming professionals. In his play, Angels in America, Tony Kushner uses religious imagery and biblical references to help his characters find meaning in modern America as well as a means for convincing the audience that prophecy is possible in secular times and to help illustrate the age old struggle between religious morals and sexuality in the twenty first century. The Christian Prior is not the only character to seek meaning from angels. For another character of Mormon faith, angels are used to further come to terms with their religious and sexual identity. Mormon ideologies also play a significant role in the idea of modern spirituality found in Angels. Joe Pitt, a clerk for the Federal Court of Appeals, is a Mormon struggling with his sexuality. In the beginning of the play we are introduced to Joe s wife, Harper Pitt, who he is fiercely devoted to even though she is a pill popping addict and questions her faith. As the play progresses Joe comes out as a homosexual and has to deal with teachings of the church: JOE: There was a picture I d look at twenty times very day: Jacob wrestles with the angel... At the University of Louisiana at Monroe, students who live in the apartments by themselves are painted out to be shy, withdrawn individuals who prefer to work alone and have difficulty making friends due to always being in solitude. However, students who reside in the dorms with another roommate tend to be more likely to study in groups and are more outgoing individuals because they go through the process of getting to know their roommate, a stranger. Acupuncture is the practice of puncturing the dermis of the skin at a specific place, called an acupuncture point, to change the way the bodies qi is flowing. Needles can be used to reduce, renforce, or apply even stimulation depending on the symptoms that a person shows. Another method applying renforcing, reducing, or even stimulus is cupping. Cupping is where a cup with a low pressure inside is placed on a person s skin. There are three types of cupping, fire cupping, dry cupping, and wet cupping. In fire cupping, a glass cup that has had a cotton ball burned inside is used. The cup can be left in one place or it can be moved along the body. Moving it across the body can create the sensation of being massaged while leaving long red marks because the low pressure in the cup causes the capillaries in the skin to burst. When the cup is left in one place it can lead to a round mark. Another style of cupping that leaves a mark is wet cupping. Wet cupping where an incision is made then a cup is placed over the incision. The cup places over top can be applied either by fire cupping or dry cupping.
