Essay On Coffee And Coffee
Coffee is something that people around the world drink daily. Coffee affects people s daily life, many
need it everyday to wake up. Coffee creates an addiction, something that can t be stopped by any
drink. Coffee is made differently around the world, some people drink coffee made in a french press
some drink it made in a regular coffee maker. The tastes are very different when they are made in each
machine as well as the length of time it takes to make the coffee, the cost, and the control you have
over the taste. Coffee is smoother and bolder when made in the french press and lighter and has a kind
of harsh taste when made in a coffee maker. Another way coffee can be made is with instant coffee,
this has more of a water taste than a coffee taste.
When coffee is made in a coffee maker the coffee grinds don t sit in the water for a longer period of
time they run through them quickly so there must be more coffee grinds for the cup than in the french
press, when coffee is made in a french press the coffee grinds sit in the water and brew for longer
allowing the hot water to soak up all of the flavor possible. Yes the coffee maker is faster but it does
not make as smooth or bold coffee as the french press does. Coffee makers make coffee well but they
use up more grinds for bad quality coffee. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A coffee maker needs electricity, it costs more in the first place, coffee grinds, and water. A french
press needs the french press, coffee grinds, hot water. Coffee makers are very expensive and then they
require electricity to run which using electricity costs money. A french press costs about $20 to $30, a
coffee maker can range anywhere from $14 to $150 it is obvious that $14 is less than $20 but a coffee
maker that is that cheap is not going to make high quality coffee like a french press that is just above
that price

From Britney Spears And Justin Timberlake
From Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake to the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus, the Disney
Machine has produced numerous superstars that continue to be relevant in todays pop culture. No
other empire has managed to produce talent quite like Disney. So, how does the Walt Disney
Company do it? They combine fresh new talent with money, power, and a ton of control to produce
shows and artists that are constantly influencing pop culture. A large number of today s pop stars are
tied to Disney in one way or another.
The Walt Disney Company is a multi billion dollar powerhouse with many different revenue sources
including the Disney parks and cruises, Pixar Animation, Disney Channel, Radio Disney, and many
more. Even though it is such a successful company, there are some things that are not very great about
it, one of those being how the company treats its stars. Many former Disney stars have expressed their
unhappiness with the company since cutting ties years ago. Celebrities such as Joe Jonas, Miley
Cyrus, and Cole Sprouse have all recently discussed their issues with the megacorp. However, before
we get to that, let s start at the beginning. Disney Channel, the focus in this paper, was officially
launched in April of 1983. The channel is marketed toward children, teens, and families, calling itself
a family oriented cable channel. Disney s Channel first hit show, Kids Incorporated, launched in early
1986. The sitcom was about a group of friends who formed a pop group.

Financial Health Of A Company
Liquidity Ratios The financial health of a business greatly depends on its ability to maintain current
commitments and obligations. Liquidity or the ability to generate cash from current assets to meet
short term obligations as well as unforeseen responsibility is important for the subsistence of a
company. A reasonable level of liquidity is essential to the survival of a company, as poor cash control
is one of the main reasons for business failure. (Pyke, 2007) Through utilization of tools, such as
liquidity ratios, or financial metrics, to evaluate the company s ability to meet current business
obligations, should the debt needs to be settled, we are able to assess its immediate financial strength.
Liquidity ratios provide creditors as well as businesses a quick analysis tool, using data, which are
readily available from annual financial statements, to complete these assessments. These ratios are
critical to creditors and are the most widely used ratios, perhaps next to profitability ratios. (Joe Lan,
2002) Liquidity ratios include current ratio, quick ratio (also referred to as acid test ratio), net working
capital ratio, and cash ratio. Current ratio is the most basic or fundamental of the four and focuses
mainly on current assets, while quick ratio is more stringent, eliminating inventory and prepaid
expenses, as both are more difficult to liquidate (Morningstar, 2016). Cash ratio is the most
conservative , as it mainly focuses on cash and investments

The Discovery Of The New World
The discovery of the New World brought many irreversible changes not only for the European
countries, but to the natives of the land that was being discovered. The sense of exploration began
expanding more and more among the European powers. Every time the explorers invaded, they would
be more avaricious and aggressive against the natives of the land. Along with diseases and inhumane
treatments, the European powers also brought education to the uneducated crowds of areas such as
India, Africa, and China. The main intention of the foreign powers was to Europeanize the natives of
these lands and enslave them into doing the European s dirty work. To attain such results, the
Europeans tried converting the natives lifestyles completely. These conversions ranged from
substituting the natives religion with Christianity, to the way they labored, and to the way they
portrayed themselves. All the changes the natives had to go through, are clearly seen in excerpts of
Feng Guifen, Afghani, and Gandhi. Each of these men describe the different aspects changed by the
Europeans, for instance Feng Guifen describes the education system brought by the Europeans and
how that affected Asia. Afghani describes the input of science in Islam, while Gandhi describes the
cold heartedness that has spread among the natives and how they have become civilized. The
emergence of the European powers on territories such as Asia became visible especially in education.
Once Europeans began taking over

Symbols In Cyrano De Bergerac
In Cyrano de Bergerac, written by Edmond Rostand and directed by Jean Paul Rappeneau, many
symbols can be found that give new meaning to the story. For instance, Cyrano s nose, Christian s
blood including Cyrano s tears and letters are three of the many symbols used. Cyrano de Bergerac is
a story set in France about an ugly musketeer trying to win a woman s heart by giving his written
letters to another man in love with the same woman.
Cyrano constantly praises his nose and mocks it, but it actually represents his insecurities and acts as a
barrier in attaining Roxane s love. Cyrano: A great nose is the banner of a great man, a generous heart,
a towering spirit, an expansive soul such as I unmistakably am. (Cyrano de Bergerac, Act I) ... Show

By giving Cyrano a huge nose, this story teaches people that they shouldn t always look on the
outside, for sometimes looks are deceiving. Christian was good looking, but he wasn t a man of words,
and he needed Cyrano s help to woo Roxane. Since Cyrano relied on words too much, he didn t know
how to live out of his poetry. In the end, for deceiving Roxane, both men payed dearly. These
particular symbols demonstrate how something as simple as one s looks get in the way of loving.
Cyrano is always dreading his nose instead of focusing on his love for Roxane, and he let his
insecurities get in the

The Ming Dynasty Essay
The Ming Dynasty
The Chinese Empire was large and controlled most of Asia at one point in time. One of the dynasties
that ruled the empire was the Ming Family. Ruling from 1368 1644, almost three hundred years, the
Ming Dynasty impacted Chinese history very much. The purpose of this paper is to tell the history of
the Ming Dynasty s impact on the Chinese Empire, and to explain why the Chinese Empire was in fact
an empire. The Ming Dynasty had created an empire. They had the government, the military, and the
economic system to prove it. At different points in time, The Chinese Empire was the greatest in the
world, for trade, military, and other key factors in a society. The main reason for the creation of the

He also tightened the bureaucracy to allow himself absolute power and control. Military to Hongwu
was also important. He had discarded the belief that
Military life was inferior and developed a militant class. This class ranked higher than any civil
servant. Hongwu s name is also known to mean vast military, and reflects the increase of the military.
At the height of the Ming Dynasty were the Maritime Expansion, Agricultural Revolution and the
Commercial Revolution. Although the agricultural and commercial revolutions had impact on the
Chinese Empire, the Maritime expansion seemed to give China more power as an empire . The
Maritime Expansion was under the third ruler Yung lo (1403 1424). Yung lo began to sponsor Naval
expansion between 1405 and continued under the leaders who followed him, Hung His (1425) and
Hsuan Le (1426 1435). There are many reasons for the Naval expansion but the Yung lo emperor
expanded trade with other countries and imported exotic goods. Expedition went to East Asia and
Southeast to Asia, Southern India, Ceylon, the Persian Gulf and Africa. Trading from Africa to
Southeast Asia made China the world s greatest commercial Naval power in the world at the time. A
great accomplishment of the Ming Dynasty was the building of the Great Wall. Even though the Great
Wall had been started earlier most of what is seen was either built or repaired by the Ming(see map

What A Genogram Is More Than A Family Tree
Introduction
A genogram is more than a family tree. It is a visual interpretation of a family and their relationships.
A genogram says a lot about a family. It uses symbols to describe the relationships between family
members. One can use a genogram to tell the dynamics of a family. Sometimes, there are patterns that
are passed down generation to generation. The purpose of this paper is to go into more detail about
what a genogram is and what it means. Also, I have provided a genogram of my family on the last
page. I will spend most of the time talking about my family and what our genogram means. Different
people in my family have different relationships with one another. There are several characteristics I
see that have been passed down.
Genograms Genograms provide one way to envision intergenerational transmissions. A genogram is a
multigenerational family tree that depicts familial relationships visually. It records information about
social relationships and biological and psychological issues in the family across three or more
generations (Galvin, Bylund Grill, 2010). There are different symbols that mean different things in a
relationship. Men are represented by squares and women are represented by circles. Three lines means
that there is a close relationship, a dotted line means the the relationship is distant, and a zigzag line
means the relationship is conflictual. The power of multigenerational transmission is part of a puzzle
that is unfolding

Watching Milo Murphy s Law
This week I began to watch Milo Murphy s law. As a true Phineas and Ferb fan, I really enjoyed it,
since there are many jokes and easter eggs hidden in Milo Murphy that date back to Phineas and Ferb.
But, just three episodes in, I began to devise a theory. Maybe it s too early in the show to tell, but I
have a pretty bold theory, and I m prepared to back it up.
My theory: Melissa Chase is Candace s Sister
At first glance, this theory seems impossible. So rather than try to explain my theory all at once, I ll
explain the answers to different arguments against this theory.
Agrument 0: How do we even know the two shows are in the same universe?
Well on Huffington Post, Dan Povenmire, one of the creators of Phineas and Ferb, has been ... Show

Flynn is her maiden name. She was married to someone with the last name Chase, although she did
not change her last name (which is not uncommon). During her marriage, she had three children,
Candace, Mellissa, and Phineas. Once she got divorced, she remarried to Lawrence Fletcher, who was
the father of Ferb. The reason we never see Mellissa with her family, is that Linda and her first
husband have worked out and agreement to allow Mellissa to visit with her father during the summer.
But if this is true, how come Mellissa s last name is Chase, and not Flynn? I think she goes by Chase,
because she doesn t want to be immediately associated with Phineas and Ferb. We ve already seen
throughout the Phineas and Ferb series that Phineas and Ferb are known all throughout town as the
coolest kids ever. I think Melissa uses her former last name as a way to not be immediately associated
as just Phineas and Ferb s older sister.
Argument 2: Why would there be any reason to assume that the two are sisters?
Well, if you look at their pictures, you ll see what I mean.
candace_promotional_image_3melissa
First of all, they have a very similar red shade of hair. While this doesn t seem to be very compelling
evidence, have you ever noticed that both Phineas and his mom are readheads too?

The Pros And Cons Of Eight Ivy League Colleges
I personally believe that these basic high school requirements should be eliminated. The eight Ivy
league colleges are Harvard, Yale, Brown, Cornell, Columbia, Princeton. University of Pennsylvania,
and Dartmouth. Of these Ivy league colleges only one of them requires you to actually have those
basic high school requirements to be accepted. That specific college would be Brown University. Six
of the other colleges recommend you to have these classes, and that is just for a better academic
standing on your part, but it is not a requirement. The last Ivy league school, Yale, according to
College Board has not released a required list of classes to be accepted, or it is that they do not have
any specific requirements. From this it can be assumed

The Nature Of Eto Trading Co Ltd V.
The nature of ETO in the context of business was effectively reconsidered in Thompson v. SCS
Consulting Ltd Ors [2001] EAT 34/00 with the emphasis for subsequent Employment Tribunals (ET)
to consider if the principle reason for dismissal was demonstrably linked to the survivability and
continuity of the business. The Employment Appeal Tribunal (EAT) affirmed the ET decision and the
necessity of reviewing any evidence suggesting collusion between transferor and transferee regarding
dismissals, together with consideration of the available funds for business continuation at time of the
dismissal. By way of commentary based on a number of EAT decisions, the actual findings were
dependent upon the timing so if occurring just prior to the transfer period, these were likely to be
judged directly associated with the transfer. Conversely the casual link is more challenging to prove if
the time delay was significant. To assist further analysis it is useful to consider Ibex Trading Co Ltd v.
Walton Others [1994] IRLR 564 EAT. In this case the employees were dismissed on the 16th October,
1991 with the effective date being the 4th November 1991, with the offer to purchase of the business
on the 11th November and completed on the 13th February 1992. The EAT reaffirmed the ET decision
that the dismissal was fair, as it was only connected with a possible transfer and not necessarily the
actual transfer, and therefore it had not contravened the meaning of Regulation 8(1). In this

Jill Stein On Political Pros And Cons
I sided with Jill Stein on most 2016 Presidential Election issues. Two specific issues from the survey
that are the most important to me are education, and science. I agree with Jill Stein on labeling GMOs,
and put a temporary prohibition on GMOs and pesticides until they are proven safe. I also agree with

The concept of an organisation varies significantly among different authors. One of the interesting
views is that an organisation is a social arrangement for controlled performance of collective goals
(Buchanan and Hucynski 2013). An organisation includes individuals who strive to meet a common
goal. It consists of a hierarchal management structure whereby each individual is assigned with
specific responsibility. However, Hal G. Rainey (2009) defines an organisation as a group of people

by Kotler (1997), price should be commensurate with the offer s perceived value , Bio Bhutan should
take the advantage of the demand in the market, products perceived value and increase the prices to
maximize profits.
II. Difficult in meeting the market demand
As per the CEO of Bio Bhutan, sometimes they do not have enough the stock of their products to

first try to meet the demand of market in country and then go for international markets. This issue

Democratic Or Republican Essay

Democratic or Republican?
I have been in Texas from ten months for pursuing my further education. The place where I am
currently dwelling i.e. 3225 West Walnut Hill Lane, Irving, Texas is numbered as district 16. 1 As per
the research, I found that Don Huffines represents district 16 in the Texas senate. It is full of diverse
population providing several opportunities to its citizens. 2 Around 846,307 people are living in
district 16 in which 7.2% of the total population are below five years old, 17.1% belong to the age

As per the results of two surveys, I was categorized as a liberal person. I count myself as the supporter
of Democratic party in USA. However, Don Huffines who is the representative of Texas senate from
district 16 is from Republican party who tries to expand his conservative philosophy.
One of the issues I stand against is for the right to keep and bear arms. The Republican party supports
the right to keep guns but the Democratic party is against it and so am I. In this issue, my ideas
diverge with the Republican party since it opposes the laws which limit the open use of guns. Even
Don Huffines states that every Texans should have legal rights to possess their fire arms. Republican
party are against the tax regulations of guns and argue to make a strong law for carrying guns as they
believe that it s God given right. However, I am against this action of Don Huffines as it can be more
severe in some contexts. Recently, even in my college Northlake college of Irving, a girl was
murdered by a guy who had gun which happened when I was there. What is the guarantee that such
acts will not be repeated in future? Carrying guns can be easy processes to threaten anyone showing
its power and as an international student, it sometimes scares me. Obviously, by carrying guns and
other arms, one can have personal protection but it s not a wiser decision to

High Cost Of Replacement Windows Essay
How to Beat the High Cost of Replacement Windows
Do you have old windows that need replacement? Is your contractor quoting a very high price to
replace your window? If you are one of those who is facing this problem, you will be happy to know
that hurricane windows produce as much energy saving as the full replacement windows and they cost
less than 30 percent of the price. Also, they reduce the long term maintenance need of your house.
Many of the technologies used in window replacements, such as low emissivity glass that prevent heat
from entering and escaping from the house and weatherproof gasket to stop drafts, are a standard in
modern impact resistant windows. Also, these windows keep the water away from windowsill, which
prevents rot ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
These factory made impact windows also come with a screen and two panes that can be easily
positioned up or down, depending on your requirement. However, these three components operate
only on two channels. Rather than sliding the components up and down, you can easily remove the
screen from the channel, then rearrange the panes and reinstall them. Rearranging the panes will take a
little more effort when the season changes, but it makes the window thinner and therefore less
noticeable.
Wood Exterior Storms
These are single pane windows that come with a wooden frame that can be painted to match the decor
of your room. These windows normally hang from hooks and are mounted on the window trim that
look nearly invisible. When placing an order for these windows, it is a good idea to order a few
screens made in the same fashion so you can swap them onto a few windows seasonally to allow light
and fresh air to enter your home.
Interior Storms
Some households prefer these windows because the cover the existing windows from inside. This
helps in maintaining the antique look of your old house. These factory made storms are made with
thin aluminum frames that can be painted to match your interiors. When these windows are installed
properly, they will press tightly inside the existing window opening. These windows may not protect
the sill from damage, but they look better than the plastic

The book, Mindset written by Carol Dweck, is about the growth mindset and the fixed mindset.
Dweck analyzed how these mindsets have an impact on a person s ability to succeed academically.
The book is crucial because it contains many brilliant ideas which, if individuals follow, will lead
them to success. In her book, there are three chapters that cover learning, effort, failure, ability,
accomplishment, and sports talent. Carol Dweck s text Mindset addresses the current concern

People with the growth mindset care more about learning and are eager to learn. Dweck did a study of
brain waves in the lab at Columbia. For example, Dweck explains that only people with a growth
mindset paid close attention to information that could stretch their knowledge (Dweck18). This shows
that individuals with a growth mindset are more passionate and motivated toward learning because
they believe learning will make them grow and succeed. Anyone can learn and change how smart they
are. Dweck did research for the students who entered the university and weren t fluent in English.
Also, she measured their mindset. Dweck told the students that they have a definite amount of intellect
and they can t do much about it. For instance, those who learn with a growth mindset agree that: You
can always substantially change how intelligent you are (Dweck 17). This indicates that students with
a growth mindset firmly agree that an individual can constantly change how clever said individual is.
People with the growth mindset strongly concur that success is about learning and gaining knowledge,
so they don t want to miss an opportunity to eliminate their language barrier. They have confidence
that improving will expand their learning capabilities. The growth mindset can motivate you to

In the very beginning of the book, Feliciano is as a man fighting for a cause during the battles with the
rinches and expresses his hatred toward them. Feliciano later takes care of Gualinto, the son of
Gumersindo, and his mother because of the death of Gualinto s father, the family had to move to a

Americans. After several months of working there, Feliciano then changes career positions; started off

Book Of Job Rhetorical Analysis
The Book of Job opens with a description of Job, a blameless and upright man who is faithful to God
and adheres to His commandments. Satan suggests that the only reason Job is faithful to God is
because God has blessed him with only good things in his life; Job has never had to experience
tremendous pain or suffering thus far. In response to this, God allows Satan to take away Job s
possessions, to kill his children, and to inflict bodily harm to him in an attempt to get Job to turn on
God. After all these horrible things happen, Job still refuses to curse God s name. Instead, Job begins
to curse the things around him, questioning why he was ever born in the first place and wondering
why God is allowing this to happen. In Job 40 42, God asks Job a series of rhetorical questions that ...

good people that the Rabbis saw in their everyday lives. One of the most accepted explanations for
this seeming inconsistency is that there is life beyond the grave which gives a distinct experience that

to whom I will be gracious, although he may not deserve it, And I will show mercy on whom I will

ways that are above human reasoning (Blackboard). Similarly, a writing from Rabbi Joseph addresses

their life? Should a person be subjected to the anxiety that accompanies a physician s estimation that

A prominent feminist, novelist and sociologist, Gilman, in her final year, 1935, chose death over
terminal cancer. Rather than suffering any longer, she made the decision to commit suicide, and made
her decision public. She began to receive letters from fans, family and friends. Regarding these letters,
in her article, The Dying of Charlotte Perkins Gilman , Denise D. Knight notes that, Despite the fact
that Gilman s death took place nearly sixty five years ago, long before society became receptive to
such issues as assisted suicide and dying with dignity, not a single correspondent attempted to
dissuade her from carrying out her plans. On the contrary, the letters demonstrate not only an
unconditional support for Gilman s philosophical position but also an extraordinary amount of
compassion, respect, and acceptance during a time when it was widely considered that suicide would
virtually guarantee eternal damnation

Market Pricing Essay
Executive Summary
Price is said to be the biggest factor in the marketing mix. If the price is not right, then the product will
not sell. Consumers feel that they have to get something back, such as an intrinsic value from the
products. Pricing is affixed with many different variables such as the flexibility of price, geographic
term, discounts and price levels over the product cycle. A marketing manager must also consider what
type of pricing objective to use. For this paper, I have made myself the new marketing manager of
Foster Farms Poultry Products.
Body
The objective that I feel is best for this company is profit orientated. This is because I believe we have

This increase is from the kickoff to barbecue season landing us all the way into the holiday season. I
also see an increase in sales for the company. People want to eat healthier and chicken by far is the
healthiest meat of them all.
Our prices also remain constant because of our delivery system. We do not hire outside contractors
and deploy the very best chain management system available. Transportation is critical for this
company. This is because not only are the products perishable, but we feel the need to get the products
to stores faster so they themselves can make profit.
Since our product turnover ratio is high, we make money in the long run. We can sell our chicken at
fifty cents per pound and still turn profit in the long run. This is done because we produce in such
surpluses. This is because of our locality, the fact that we practically do everything from hatching the
chickens to creating our own feed. Granted we are not a national company, but from an investor s
point of view, Foster Farms is said to be a good investment.
Closing
In closing, the sky is the limit for Foster Farms. We have to keep marketing and advertising our
products throughout the state. Since its initiation, Foster Farms has become a family household name
and we need to maintain that name. People love our chicken because they are pure to honest goodness,
(http://fosterfarms.com/). We also strive at Foster Farms to always adhere to

How Did Catherine Ramirez Discuses The Invisibility Of The...
In The Woman in the Zoot Suit: Gender, Nationalism, and the Cultural Politics of Memory, Catherine
Ramirez discuses the invisibility of the Chicana women in Chicano movement. For instance in 500
Years of Chicana Womens History, Elizabeth Sutherland Martínez, gives us an example of how
important Chicanas were to not only the Chicano movement, but to the United States Military as well.
The largest number were in the Women s Army Corps (WAC) (Martínez, 81). Ramirez argues that U.S
culture and wartime, as well as Chicano movement have excluded the involvement of pachucas, due to
the intimidating gender roles. According to Ramirez pachucas test the leading philosophies of
Mexican American identity. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Which was the death of twenty two year old José Gallardo Díaz, a young man who was found nearly
dead in Commerce, California on August 2, 1942. Even though his death is still an unknown until this
day, Seventeen Mexican American youths were arrested and held as suspects in prison by the Los
Angeles police department without bail and on murder charges. Jude Charles W. Fricke sentenced nine
of the seventeen defendants of second degree murder, on January 13, 1943. Those sentenced served
time in San Quentin Prison, the rest were charged with minor offenses and served time in Los Angeles
County Jail. What was interesting to me about Luis Valdez s movie Zoot Suit, is that we see for our
eyes how much the Sleepy Lagoon case broke out the zoot suit riots all around Los Angeles, and near
by cities. Similarly to Blood in Blood out and American Me, after being released from Prison, Henry
is shown as having three different path ways in life, the first is going back to jail, second is joining the
Army, and the last is making a family of his own. Henry is being presented with a fresh start to life, he
has chance to pick his own fate. Similarly Blood in Blood out (1993) focuses on vicious crime that
occurs in Chicano communities. The characters in Blood in Blood out also spent the majority of their
time in and out of San Quentin Prison, and once being released they too had chance

Uncle Wiggily In Connecticut Summary
In the Uncle Wiggily in Connecticut short story, J.D. Salinger, draws a women living a meager life in
despite of her wealth, and the unhappiness of not being a mother even though she has a daughter.
Although this woman demonstrates an icy and bitter relationship to everything around her, including
her descendent, the story s end indicates self awareness and resolution for the protagonist.
Before coming to the very ending it is important to elaborate on some important points acting as
foundation for the optimist interpretation of Eloise s last words. Otherwise it could be interpret either
way.
The story develops two old college friends gathering for a chat, in a week afternoon, talking for hours
straight. During this period there is abusive alcohol consumption, a robust evidence of personal
problems. The conversation evolves around gossip and complains. It is Eloise, the protagonist, who
complains the most throughout the whole story, and about every aspect of her current life. Including
her own daughter, which until that moment she barely considers as her descendent: I need a cocker
spaniel or something (24). Even though the text only brings up the distinct appearances between them,
Eloise believes Ramona is so far apart from her that anything would be closer to her even a dog.
Furthermore, despite Eloise s wealthy life, with expensive cars, belongs and even a full time maid who
seems to take care of Ramona most of the time, there is robust disappointment with the life

Examples Of My Mask
The Mask Within Me
As Kofi Annan stated, Knowledge is power. Information is liberating. Education is the premise of
progress, in every society, in every family. Initially, masks were utilized several different ways. For
instance, people in the Stone Age used masks as a source of disguise to stalk their prey and later on
attempt to kill it. To add, civilizations through history such as the Greek used masks to impersonate
people and built their masks in a fashion where it acted as a megaphone. Though, my mask,

White beards are mostly associated with an old person, where they go from the transition of being
young to an old man who loses the ability to perform tasks. Though, the white beard is a symbol of the
innumerable joyful, stressful, and depressing moments that the old man has gone through. From these
events, this old man has gained knowledge and lessons that aid him into a much more sophisticated
human being. For instance, through countless cultures, elders are respected for their wisdom.
Religions such as the Hindu respect the elderly due to the fact that they lived longer or in other words
have more wisdom due to their excessive amount of experience. Moreover, this relates to me due to
the fact that I enjoy taking advantage of my experience because there are numerous lessons a person
can learn from them. For example, in a field trip to A.C.C., another American school in Morocco, we
went to see their science fair projects. Through this memorable moment, I learned what not and what
to include in my science fair to offer the finest presentation such as the display is one of the most

Cap Blanc Coastline Essay
The Cap Blanc Coastline Coastlines come in many shapes and sizes, colors and temperatures, but emit
the same beauty no matter where you find them in the world. The Cap Blanc coastline is definitely
beautiful, offering not only the water but powerful red sands that meet the ocean just right. Although,
there is a small population on Cap Blanc its desert like climate keeps it intact and blossoming. As with
many coastlines around the world Cap Blanc is made up of currents and waves, which create tides that
meet along the earth to form the sand filled beach.
Currants
Currents under the sea play an important role in the formation of a coastline. Currents may be
generated by density differences in water masses caused by temperature and salinity variations
(NOAA, 2013). These currents move large water masses through deep ocean taking nutrients, oxygen,
and heat with them (NOAA, 2013). However, some currents are affected by other variables such as
huge storms that move water masses, underwater earthquakes that may also trigger tsunamis (NOAA,
2013). Both types of variables move masses of water inland ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

John Burgoyne s Defeat At The Battle Of Saratoga
While British general John Burgoyne was nicknamed Gentleman Johnny due to his adoration for
leisure and fashion, history remembered him for the British loss at the Battle of Saratoga. Being an
experienced general who have served in various combats, Burgoyne s over confidence of himself and
his plan to conquer the Hudson River Valley contributed to the defeat at the Battle of Saratoga. It
became a noteworthy and defining moment in the war as it gave the Americans certainty and French
alliance. First of all, Burgoyne s early life and career was embedded with comfort and fame which
created arrogance within him. Born on January 11, 1722 in London, Burgoyne was raised in an upper

For the first weeks of the march, Burgoyne confronted numerous genuine difficulties. Altogether
under prepared, his armed force lacked necessities. On the other hand, the Canadian militias
immediately abandoned the army and Burgoyne struggled to organize Britain s Indian allies. In
addition, transportation difficulties obstructed the armed force s progress. Despite difficulties,
Burgoyne thrived on the war zone. On July 6, his armed force caught Fort Ticonderoga, managing a
noteworthy blow to American morale. The next day, Burgoyne accomplished another triumph over the
Americans at Hubbardton. By early August, however, Burgoyne s favorable luck ran out. As opposed
to the expectations of the British War Office, loyalists did not turn out in strength to bolster St. Leger.
Buried in a twenty one day attack of Fort Stanwix, St. Leger was compelled to withdraw into Canada.
In New York, Howe ruled against meeting Burgoyne at Albany for moving into Pennsylvania to stand
up to General George Washington s armed force. Burgoyne did not hear about Howe s decision until it
was past the point of no return. Impeded by American endeavors to obstruct roads, Burgoyne s armed
force eased back to a creep as it moved toward Saratoga, where 12,000 Americans under General

The Industrial Revolution And The French Revolution
The Industrial Revolution and the French Revolution are both integral parts of European history.
Taking place during the late eighteenth century, each molded different parts of Europe and had
different social ramifications. The Industrial Revolution began in the late 1700 s and was the
beginning of new innovations along with manufacturing processes. The French Revolution began
during the year 1789, with two sides of the population fighting either for or against the monarchy. The
French Revolution ended ten years later during the year 1799 with the French overthrowing the
monarchy and starting their own form of government. While both revolutions have had a huge impact
on modern day Europe, the innovations along with the social changes that occurred during the
Industrial Revolution make it more significant than the French Revolution. Before the Industrial
Revolution, Britain was comprised of rural areas where most of the population resided. A lot of their
time revolved around agriculture as a means of survival and as a way to make an income. They also
built and produced most of their clothing, furniture and homes with machines that were simple and
small tools. As time went by, people came up with different ideas and changed the methods in which
they were able to produce agriculture. This led to an increase in food production which was steadily
available to the population that was rising and working factories. These events would become apart of
what would start the Industrial

Universities and Colleges assist victims of Sexual Assault? According to the United States Department
of Justice (2017), sexual assault is defined as any type of sexual contact or behavior that occurs
without the explicit consent of the recipient. Falling under the definition of sexual assault are sexual
activities as forced sexual intercourse, forcible sodomy, child molestation, incest, fondling, and
attempted rape (DOJ 2017). As you can see sexual assault has various situations that could cause some
situations to be sexual assault. Statistics show how 95% of campus sexual assault is unreported, 90%
of women know who sexually assaulted them, 50% of sexual assaults on campus are alcohol related,
80% of rape victims suffer chronic physical and psychological problems over time (PACT5:2017). ...

Stereotypes In The Unforgiven By Prince Maxon
All royalty seem the same, don t they? They are all civilized, all well mannered, and most of all, they
are all boring, all except for those in the book, The One . In the book, the characters are anything but
civilized and well behaved. The epitome of bad behavior would be America, the wild ginger who will
do anything she deems morally right, even if it could get her kicked out of the palace. The prince,
Maxon, on the other hand, is far too obedient and struggles throughout the book with whom he should
choose to be his bride; this struggle causes further strife not only between him and America, but also
between him and his father, King Clarkson. So, despite stereotypes, the princess, the prince, and the
king all have a personality of their ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Prince Maxon can also relate problems in his life to those of certain songs. One song that is
particularly similar to Maxon s struggles is called, The Unforgiven, by Metallica. The song is
generally about a parent disparaging their child and ruling over them. The song goes, The young boy
learns their rules. With time, the child draws in, this whipping boy done wrong, deprived of all his
thoughts, the young man struggles on and on (Metallica, 1991). These lyrics fit very well to the book
because Maxon s father, the king, is bellicose and tends to rule over Maxon s every move. Not only
that, but when Maxon fails to do something precisely to the king s wishes he is wiped, just like the
boy in the song. In the book, more problems are caused for Maxon when America finds out about his
father wiping him. America states, Undressing Maxon hadn t been a romantic moment, but I couldn t
tell them I d been tending to wounds on his back specifically delivered by his father (Cass, 21).
Despite the cruel fact that what his father is doing is wrong, Maxon cannot congregate enough courage
to stand up to him. It even boils down to the decisions he makes: I will not have anyone else telling
me who I can and cannot marry! This is my life you re playing games with! (Cass, 43). This statement
proves just how fed up Maxon is of his fathers un ending edicts and everybody s astronomical
expectations. In the song, it also tells of the boy being too scared to stand up to his parents: What I ve
felt, what I ve known, never shined through what I ve shown (Metallica, 1991). This meaning that he
hides what he feels; because of fear of his father, the king, his emotions and wants never truly make it

  • 2. Essay On Coffee And Coffee Coffee is something that people around the world drink daily. Coffee affects people s daily life, many need it everyday to wake up. Coffee creates an addiction, something that can t be stopped by any drink. Coffee is made differently around the world, some people drink coffee made in a french press some drink it made in a regular coffee maker. The tastes are very different when they are made in each machine as well as the length of time it takes to make the coffee, the cost, and the control you have over the taste. Coffee is smoother and bolder when made in the french press and lighter and has a kind of harsh taste when made in a coffee maker. Another way coffee can be made is with instant coffee, this has more of a water taste than a coffee taste. When coffee is made in a coffee maker the coffee grinds don t sit in the water for a longer period of time they run through them quickly so there must be more coffee grinds for the cup than in the french press, when coffee is made in a french press the coffee grinds sit in the water and brew for longer allowing the hot water to soak up all of the flavor possible. Yes the coffee maker is faster but it does not make as smooth or bold coffee as the french press does. Coffee makers make coffee well but they use up more grinds for bad quality coffee. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... A coffee maker needs electricity, it costs more in the first place, coffee grinds, and water. A french press needs the french press, coffee grinds, hot water. Coffee makers are very expensive and then they require electricity to run which using electricity costs money. A french press costs about $20 to $30, a coffee maker can range anywhere from $14 to $150 it is obvious that $14 is less than $20 but a coffee maker that is that cheap is not going to make high quality coffee like a french press that is just above that price ... • 3. From Britney Spears And Justin Timberlake From Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake to the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus, the Disney Machine has produced numerous superstars that continue to be relevant in todays pop culture. No other empire has managed to produce talent quite like Disney. So, how does the Walt Disney Company do it? They combine fresh new talent with money, power, and a ton of control to produce shows and artists that are constantly influencing pop culture. A large number of today s pop stars are tied to Disney in one way or another. The Walt Disney Company is a multi billion dollar powerhouse with many different revenue sources including the Disney parks and cruises, Pixar Animation, Disney Channel, Radio Disney, and many more. Even though it is such a successful company, there are some things that are not very great about it, one of those being how the company treats its stars. Many former Disney stars have expressed their unhappiness with the company since cutting ties years ago. Celebrities such as Joe Jonas, Miley Cyrus, and Cole Sprouse have all recently discussed their issues with the megacorp. However, before we get to that, let s start at the beginning. Disney Channel, the focus in this paper, was officially launched in April of 1983. The channel is marketed toward children, teens, and families, calling itself a family oriented cable channel. Disney s Channel first hit show, Kids Incorporated, launched in early 1986. The sitcom was about a group of friends who formed a pop group. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Financial Health Of A Company Liquidity Ratios The financial health of a business greatly depends on its ability to maintain current commitments and obligations. Liquidity or the ability to generate cash from current assets to meet short term obligations as well as unforeseen responsibility is important for the subsistence of a company. A reasonable level of liquidity is essential to the survival of a company, as poor cash control is one of the main reasons for business failure. (Pyke, 2007) Through utilization of tools, such as liquidity ratios, or financial metrics, to evaluate the company s ability to meet current business obligations, should the debt needs to be settled, we are able to assess its immediate financial strength. Liquidity ratios provide creditors as well as businesses a quick analysis tool, using data, which are readily available from annual financial statements, to complete these assessments. These ratios are critical to creditors and are the most widely used ratios, perhaps next to profitability ratios. (Joe Lan, 2002) Liquidity ratios include current ratio, quick ratio (also referred to as acid test ratio), net working capital ratio, and cash ratio. Current ratio is the most basic or fundamental of the four and focuses mainly on current assets, while quick ratio is more stringent, eliminating inventory and prepaid expenses, as both are more difficult to liquidate (Morningstar, 2016). Cash ratio is the most conservative , as it mainly focuses on cash and investments ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. The Discovery Of The New World The discovery of the New World brought many irreversible changes not only for the European countries, but to the natives of the land that was being discovered. The sense of exploration began expanding more and more among the European powers. Every time the explorers invaded, they would be more avaricious and aggressive against the natives of the land. Along with diseases and inhumane treatments, the European powers also brought education to the uneducated crowds of areas such as India, Africa, and China. The main intention of the foreign powers was to Europeanize the natives of these lands and enslave them into doing the European s dirty work. To attain such results, the Europeans tried converting the natives lifestyles completely. These conversions ranged from substituting the natives religion with Christianity, to the way they labored, and to the way they portrayed themselves. All the changes the natives had to go through, are clearly seen in excerpts of Feng Guifen, Afghani, and Gandhi. Each of these men describe the different aspects changed by the Europeans, for instance Feng Guifen describes the education system brought by the Europeans and how that affected Asia. Afghani describes the input of science in Islam, while Gandhi describes the cold heartedness that has spread among the natives and how they have become civilized. The emergence of the European powers on territories such as Asia became visible especially in education. Once Europeans began taking over ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 6. Symbols In Cyrano De Bergerac In Cyrano de Bergerac, written by Edmond Rostand and directed by Jean Paul Rappeneau, many symbols can be found that give new meaning to the story. For instance, Cyrano s nose, Christian s blood including Cyrano s tears and letters are three of the many symbols used. Cyrano de Bergerac is a story set in France about an ugly musketeer trying to win a woman s heart by giving his written letters to another man in love with the same woman. Cyrano constantly praises his nose and mocks it, but it actually represents his insecurities and acts as a barrier in attaining Roxane s love. Cyrano: A great nose is the banner of a great man, a generous heart, a towering spirit, an expansive soul such as I unmistakably am. (Cyrano de Bergerac, Act I) ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... By giving Cyrano a huge nose, this story teaches people that they shouldn t always look on the outside, for sometimes looks are deceiving. Christian was good looking, but he wasn t a man of words, and he needed Cyrano s help to woo Roxane. Since Cyrano relied on words too much, he didn t know how to live out of his poetry. In the end, for deceiving Roxane, both men payed dearly. These particular symbols demonstrate how something as simple as one s looks get in the way of loving. Cyrano is always dreading his nose instead of focusing on his love for Roxane, and he let his insecurities get in the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 7. The Ming Dynasty Essay The Ming Dynasty The Chinese Empire was large and controlled most of Asia at one point in time. One of the dynasties that ruled the empire was the Ming Family. Ruling from 1368 1644, almost three hundred years, the Ming Dynasty impacted Chinese history very much. The purpose of this paper is to tell the history of the Ming Dynasty s impact on the Chinese Empire, and to explain why the Chinese Empire was in fact an empire. The Ming Dynasty had created an empire. They had the government, the military, and the economic system to prove it. At different points in time, The Chinese Empire was the greatest in the world, for trade, military, and other key factors in a society. The main reason for the creation of the Ming ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... He also tightened the bureaucracy to allow himself absolute power and control. Military to Hongwu was also important. He had discarded the belief that Military life was inferior and developed a militant class. This class ranked higher than any civil servant. Hongwu s name is also known to mean vast military, and reflects the increase of the military. At the height of the Ming Dynasty were the Maritime Expansion, Agricultural Revolution and the Commercial Revolution. Although the agricultural and commercial revolutions had impact on the Chinese Empire, the Maritime expansion seemed to give China more power as an empire . The Maritime Expansion was under the third ruler Yung lo (1403 1424). Yung lo began to sponsor Naval expansion between 1405 and continued under the leaders who followed him, Hung His (1425) and Hsuan Le (1426 1435). There are many reasons for the Naval expansion but the Yung lo emperor expanded trade with other countries and imported exotic goods. Expedition went to East Asia and Southeast to Asia, Southern India, Ceylon, the Persian Gulf and Africa. Trading from Africa to Southeast Asia made China the world s greatest commercial Naval power in the world at the time. A great accomplishment of the Ming Dynasty was the building of the Great Wall. Even though the Great Wall had been started earlier most of what is seen was either built or repaired by the Ming(see map with Great Wall). The ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 8. What A Genogram Is More Than A Family Tree Introduction A genogram is more than a family tree. It is a visual interpretation of a family and their relationships. A genogram says a lot about a family. It uses symbols to describe the relationships between family members. One can use a genogram to tell the dynamics of a family. Sometimes, there are patterns that are passed down generation to generation. The purpose of this paper is to go into more detail about what a genogram is and what it means. Also, I have provided a genogram of my family on the last page. I will spend most of the time talking about my family and what our genogram means. Different people in my family have different relationships with one another. There are several characteristics I see that have been passed down. Genograms Genograms provide one way to envision intergenerational transmissions. A genogram is a multigenerational family tree that depicts familial relationships visually. It records information about social relationships and biological and psychological issues in the family across three or more generations (Galvin, Bylund Grill, 2010). There are different symbols that mean different things in a relationship. Men are represented by squares and women are represented by circles. Three lines means that there is a close relationship, a dotted line means the the relationship is distant, and a zigzag line means the relationship is conflictual. The power of multigenerational transmission is part of a puzzle that is unfolding ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 9. Watching Milo Murphy s Law This week I began to watch Milo Murphy s law. As a true Phineas and Ferb fan, I really enjoyed it, since there are many jokes and easter eggs hidden in Milo Murphy that date back to Phineas and Ferb. But, just three episodes in, I began to devise a theory. Maybe it s too early in the show to tell, but I have a pretty bold theory, and I m prepared to back it up. My theory: Melissa Chase is Candace s Sister At first glance, this theory seems impossible. So rather than try to explain my theory all at once, I ll explain the answers to different arguments against this theory. Agrument 0: How do we even know the two shows are in the same universe? Well on Huffington Post, Dan Povenmire, one of the creators of Phineas and Ferb, has been ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Flynn is her maiden name. She was married to someone with the last name Chase, although she did not change her last name (which is not uncommon). During her marriage, she had three children, Candace, Mellissa, and Phineas. Once she got divorced, she remarried to Lawrence Fletcher, who was the father of Ferb. The reason we never see Mellissa with her family, is that Linda and her first husband have worked out and agreement to allow Mellissa to visit with her father during the summer. But if this is true, how come Mellissa s last name is Chase, and not Flynn? I think she goes by Chase, because she doesn t want to be immediately associated with Phineas and Ferb. We ve already seen throughout the Phineas and Ferb series that Phineas and Ferb are known all throughout town as the coolest kids ever. I think Melissa uses her former last name as a way to not be immediately associated as just Phineas and Ferb s older sister. Argument 2: Why would there be any reason to assume that the two are sisters? Well, if you look at their pictures, you ll see what I mean. candace_promotional_image_3melissa First of all, they have a very similar red shade of hair. While this doesn t seem to be very compelling evidence, have you ever noticed that both Phineas and his mom are readheads too? phineas_image_proposition_5download Furthermore, have you ever noticed how few redheads are in the Milo Murphy, and Phineas and Ferb series?

The eight Ivy league colleges are Harvard, Yale, Brown, Cornell, Columbia, Princeton. University of Pennsylvania, and Dartmouth. Of these Ivy league colleges only one of them requires you to actually have those basic high school requirements to be accepted. That specific college would be Brown University. Six of the other colleges recommend you to have these classes, and that is just for a better academic standing on your part, but it is not a requirement. The last Ivy league school, Yale, according to College Board has not released a required list of classes to be accepted, or it is that they do not have any specific requirements. • 12. The Nature Of Eto Trading Co Ltd V. The nature of ETO in the context of business was effectively reconsidered in Thompson v. SCS Consulting Ltd Ors [2001] EAT 34/00 with the emphasis for subsequent Employment Tribunals (ET) to consider if the principle reason for dismissal was demonstrably linked to the survivability and continuity of the business. The Employment Appeal Tribunal (EAT) affirmed the ET decision and the necessity of reviewing any evidence suggesting collusion between transferor and transferee regarding dismissals, together with consideration of the available funds for business continuation at time of the dismissal. By way of commentary based on a number of EAT decisions, the actual findings were dependent upon the timing so if occurring just prior to the transfer period, these were likely to be judged directly associated with the transfer. Conversely the casual link is more challenging to prove if the time delay was significant. To assist further analysis it is useful to consider Ibex Trading Co Ltd v. Walton Others [1994] IRLR 564 EAT. In this case the employees were dismissed on the 16th October, 1991 with the effective date being the 4th November 1991, with the offer to purchase of the business on the 11th November and completed on the 13th February 1992. The EAT reaffirmed the ET decision that the dismissal was fair, as it was only connected with a possible transfer and not necessarily the actual transfer, and therefore it had not contravened the meaning of Regulation 8(1). In response to this, God allows Satan to take away Job s possessions, to kill his children, and to inflict bodily harm to him in an attempt to get Job to turn on God. Buried in a twenty one day attack of Fort Stanwix, St. Leger was compelled to withdraw into Canada. In New York, Howe ruled against meeting Burgoyne at Albany for moving into Pennsylvania to stand up to General George Washington s armed force. • 33. The Industrial Revolution And The French Revolution The Industrial Revolution and the French Revolution are both integral parts of European history. Taking place during the late eighteenth century, each molded different parts of Europe and had different social ramifications. The Industrial Revolution began in the late 1700 s and was the beginning of new innovations along with manufacturing processes. The French Revolution began during the year 1789, with two sides of the population fighting either for or against the monarchy. The French Revolution ended ten years later during the year 1799 with the French overthrowing the monarchy and starting their own form of government. While both revolutions have had a huge impact on modern day Europe, the innovations along with the social changes that occurred during the Industrial Revolution make it more significant than the French Revolution. Before the Industrial Revolution, Britain was comprised of rural areas where most of the population resided. A lot of their time revolved around agriculture as a means of survival and as a way to make an income. They also built and produced most of their clothing, furniture and homes with machines that were simple and small tools. As time went by, people came up with different ideas and changed the methods in which they were able to produce agriculture. This led to an increase in food production which was steadily available to the population that was rising and working factories. These events would become apart of what would start the Industrial ... • 35. Stereotypes In The Unforgiven By Prince Maxon All royalty seem the same, don t they? They are all civilized, all well mannered, and most of all, they are all boring, all except for those in the book, The One . In the book, the characters are anything but civilized and well behaved. The epitome of bad behavior would be America, the wild ginger who will do anything she deems morally right, even if it could get her kicked out of the palace. The prince, Maxon, on the other hand, is far too obedient and struggles throughout the book with whom he should choose to be his bride; this struggle causes further strife not only between him and America, but also between him and his father, King Clarkson. So, despite stereotypes, the princess, the prince, and the king all have a personality of their ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Prince Maxon can also relate problems in his life to those of certain songs. One song that is particularly similar to Maxon s struggles is called, The Unforgiven, by Metallica. The song is generally about a parent disparaging their child and ruling over them. The song goes, The young boy learns their rules. With time, the child draws in, this whipping boy done wrong, deprived of all his thoughts, the young man struggles on and on (Metallica, 1991). These lyrics fit very well to the book because Maxon s father, the king, is bellicose and tends to rule over Maxon s every move. Not only that, but when Maxon fails to do something precisely to the king s wishes he is wiped, just like the boy in the song. In the book, more problems are caused for Maxon when America finds out about his father wiping him. America states, Undressing Maxon hadn t been a romantic moment, but I couldn t tell them I d been tending to wounds on his back specifically delivered by his father (Cass, 21). Despite the cruel fact that what his father is doing is wrong, Maxon cannot congregate enough courage to stand up to him. It even boils down to the decisions he makes: I will not have anyone else telling me who I can and cannot marry! This is my life you re playing games with! (Cass, 43). This statement proves just how fed up Maxon is of his fathers un ending edicts and everybody s astronomical expectations. In the song, it also tells of the boy being too scared to stand up to his parents: What I ve felt, what I ve known, never shined through what I ve shown (Metallica, 1991). This meaning that he hides what he feels; because of fear of his father, the king, his emotions and wants never truly make it to the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
