Tetanus is a life threatening but preventable disease that is characterized by an acute onset of painful
muscular contractions (usually in a descending pattern, starting with trismus or lockjaw) and
generalized rigidity.1 It is caused by the toxin of Clostridium tetani, a spore forming bacterium. The
spores can be found in soil, dust, and in human and animal feces, entering the body through breaks in
the skin and germinating under low oxygen conditions .1,2 The most successful intervention against
tetanus in history is its prevention by means of an effective vaccine which has led to a dramatic fall in

By the same token, I really liked how the costumes of Turtle and Snail were also distinct and had
unique characteristics of their real nature. For example, Turtle s costume included a large backpack on
the back of the actor, which to the audience, was perceived as a large shell. Snail s unique costume

However, some technical elements that I didn t like was the dark blue long fabric and the blue see

Abstract Increasing attacks and intrusion of the Internet and computer systems necessitate the need for
Intrusion Detection System (IDS) to prevent attacks. Genetic Algorithm (GA) is applied to support
IDS. Fitness function and GA operators crossover, mutation, and population representation play an
important role in improving the performance of an IDS: high detection rate, and low false positive
rate. This paper suggests a Fitness Function using Reward Penalty technique that rewards the good
chromosome and penalizes the bad chromosome, for improved performance. We suggest that the GA
parameters be optimized for better IDS performance.
