There are two main long term effects of a concussion: post concussion syndrome and second impact
syndrome. Second impact syndrome is when one receives a blow to the head before the brain is
completely healed. This results in swelling of the brain, and that can result in a fatal death. The main
reason that people suffer from this is they do not get the proper amount of rest that they need before
they go back and play whatever sport they were playing. Since 1984, more than twenty people have
died from second impact syndrome (Caroline M, et al.). Anyone who receives a second concussion
that is moderate to severe after they have had a first one should sit out from their sport for at least a
month to avoid second impact syndrome. Second impact syndrome seems to be rare with patients, but

John Bateman, a British soldier who was captured by the colonists said that he heard a command to
fire given to the Regulars, and that none of the colonists fired at the Regulars(3). This completely goes
against the British evidence which clearly says that they did not give the command to fire and were

Picture this, jello, except not at all, because this jello has had the artificial fruity goodness life sucked
out of it and some genius had the brilliant idea to replace it with chicken of all things. The concept of

Why Juicing Should Be Allowed In College
Well you guys.. I completed day one of juicing. But, I didn t technically juice the entire day. Why?
Because I was so scared. Honestly!
So at night time, around 7:30 I do a HIIT kickboxing class for one hour. It is by far the most intense,
yet amazing, workout I have ever experienced. I do it four times a week and honestly wish I could do
it more than that but I can t on Thursdays because I work late and there are no classes on the weekend.
Anyways, a few times while doing my HIIT classes, I have gotten light headed... and that is with
eating well balanced meals throughout the day. So yesterday when it came time to juicing, I
remembered that I had HIIT later that day and got nervous that I would pass out. Therefore, I didn t
technically juice for all my meals.

intolerable to a lot of foods which makes bloating like second nature to my body. One of my friends
talked to me about a tea called Tiny Tea Teatox and I further researched it and decided to buy a
months worth of it! From what I understand it aids in detoxing your body as well as regulating your
digestive system. It should arrive next Tuesday so I will also keep you guys posted on how it s
working out for me! Hopefully this will be the miracle item I have been looking for!

Vincent Donovan was an out of the box thinker when he traveled to the Masai people in hopes to
spread the gospel in hopes that these people would become Christian. In this paper it will address
hindrance that Donovan faced, his views of Christology and soteriology in relation to the Christian
faith perspective, and my own views on how well I believe that Donovan portrayed Christianity.
One of the biggest hindrances for Donovan while dealing with the Masia was the culture difference in
how situations were handled. As stated by Donovan (1995) with these Africans the purpose of words

fence sitters to peer pressure to not believe in Christianity. As Donovan (1995) states A

My Goals For A Social Worker
I did not always want to be a Social Worker. I wanted to be a psychologist when I graduated high
school. My dreams for my career got put on hold because I became a single mother at a young age.
Raising my child on my own was the hardest and most important thing to me. It was not until the
Department of Children and Families (DCF) came and removed my niece from my sister s home,
when I realized what Social Work was. At that moment, I knew I wanted to help children the same
way the social workers do.
My educational career started when I was laid off from my job 5 years ago. Part of the severance
package that I received made it possible for me to collect unemployment until I finished my degree. I
earned my A.S. degree in Human Services, and am currently working on obtaining my B.S. in Social
Work, all while being a stay at home mom to a teenager. I have made the Dean s List for the past few
semesters and would like the opportunity to help others with all the services that are available for the
clients that are in need.
Social Work, as a profession, is a great fit for me. My interest in social work originates from having
the desire to be able to help children that are abused and neglected to find better homes and safe
