Describe the main features of the shift from modernity to postmodernity
Post modernity or post modernism as coined during the counter culture era of the 1960s and 70s
has been highly contestant, ever since it was first used describe the death of modern architecture
and art during the same period. It is this debate of being in a state of modernity or post modernity
that will lead me to describe the shifts in cultural, economic and political views and values that
demonstrates a shift in values from modern to post modern views sociy. This shift to post
modernity has been highly influenced through the works of postmodern artists and architects and
academics such as Focult (Venn, C., Featherstone, M. 2006), Burroughs, Barthelme, Rauschenberg
and Cage (Clarke, S. 2006), who all describe modernity being an exhausted idea, due to the shift of
values changing society to a period of post modernity.
In this essay I will argue that we are now living in a new age of post modernity by describing and
explaining the transition of modernity to post modernity by analysing the social dimensions that
modernity has shifted from to postmodernity. I will also look at the main features of both modernity
and postmodernity and explore their features to draw the conclusion that postmodernity is not a
new era but a new social movement of different views and perspectives.

innocent would confess to a serious crime that they did not commit. However, empirical data has
now revealed that many innocent defendants have been convicted on the basis of their false
confessions (White, 2003). The following section will analyze false confessions and how they
happen. This section will examine the characteristics of a defendant that may alter a confession, and
then go on to looking at the circumstances of the interrogation.
In the majority of false confession cases, police did not extract the confession by employing torture
techniques. However, the effects of psychological techniques on innocent defendants may have
been underestimated in the past. There are many contributing factors that lead to the admission of
false confessions. The system must consider these factors when determining if a confession is
legitimate.
Mental health is one of the major factors one must consider when looking at a confession.
Mentally handicapped defendants are far more susceptible to respond to suggestive police
interrogations with false confessions (White, 2003). To provide an adequate defense, a lawyer

RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
4.1Overview
In this project, after the design and development parts were completed. The hardware development
consists of the development of DTMF circuits, driver circuit, microcontroller circuit and interfacing
circuits by using EAGLE software. This chapter will discuss the results of the overall system
development and its analysis. The result is discussed into two parts; the hardware development and
accuracy of the system. These results have been analyzed in order to improve the system
performance in future work. Also show the result of the project in the prototype.
4.2Circuit Testing Result and Analysis This part of the analysis has been dedicated to test the circuit
operation. The testing was carried out to measuring the input and output voltage and components
connections were tested using a digital multimeter.

Self awareness is always a helpful trait to have in any facet of life. Dr. Kahlib Fischer said that
the task of completing the self awareness test is a means of helping you come to terms with ways
that God has gifted and equipped you to serve His purposes in whatever organization He has you
in (2006). Being aware of your own weaknesses and strengths can help you strive to be a better
version of your current self. How, you may ask? For me, I know that time managementand attention
to detail are weaknesses. Because I know that, I am aware that I need to pay extra attention to
the things that require these two traits. It has helped me prioritize activities to ensure I get them

by one tectonic plate being forced under another in a subduction zone. During the lifetime of a

With Descartes distinction between what we perceive clearly and distinctly, and what we remember
having perceived clearly and distinctly. In order for something to be certain, it must at least have
duration in the mind. This means that even when not concentrated on, it is still knowledge with the
potential to be certain. Some beliefs, on the other hand, can be certain without God s existence for
their truth, but only for as long as they are concentrated on. Such beliefs are clear and distinct, and
therefore true, when thought of and not dependent upon a non deceiving God that would assure us
of their truth. Their truth is established by their being clear and distinct when concentrated on. The
contradiction lies with what Descartes considers eternal truths , that geometrical facts, such as the
area of a circle is equal to ПЂr^2, or the fact that three angles of a triangle are equal to two right
angles, are all only true because of Gods existence and non deceptive nature. This with
