The Management Of A Company
How would you feel if you owned part of a company, but could not help make any decisions on the
future of the company? Those who own majority of the company decide to hire mangers to make
important decisions on your company. This is a general example on how shareholders run their
company. Now wouldn t you rather help make decision, or be able to factor in ideas from the
employees and community that has helped the business grow? If so, you might want to consider the
stakeholders theory. Different stakeholders can hold varying amounts of influence and interest, within
the organization. For example, consider a factory worker. An individual worker has large interests in
the company, in terms of working conditions, salary, and benefits. ... Show more content on

Internal stakeholders are described as the managers and employees of a company. Connected
stakeholders are those that are beyond the immediate boundaries of the firm, while external
stakeholders are those who are outside the firm. Some would say it is rather difficult to argue the
stakeholders theory because there is not as much information on the subject as there is shareholders
theory. They would argue that shareholders own most corporations; and presently, corporations owned
by stakeholders would be unsuccessful in the long run. There has been some debate on the legitimacy
of the concept of the stakeholder, according to Friedman and Miles. The stakeholder concept has not
gone unchallenged. Many have reiterated the alternative stakeholder positions. Others have challenged
implications of the stakeholder concept for certain groups (Friedman and Miles 118). Friedman and
Miles go on to argue how stakeholders can weaken an organization, and even alter its long term
characteristics. Assume that the stakeholder concept is infallible and consider the example of the
factory worker. The company is publicly owned and is located in a more economically developed
country (MEDC), where it will have a weaker influence from the government when compared to
government owned companies. Labor unions associated with the company will likely be strong and
workers will have a higher influence than they would in a less economically developed country
(LEDC) where unions are

How Did The Us Foothold In The War Of 1812
The War of 1812 was the first war where the US actually declared war on anybody. The US was ready
to expand and had their sights on Canada. The Northern states were against going to war as they relied
on trade a lot. The Southern and Western states, being more agrarian, wanted expansion. The
Americans who were ready for war were referred to as War Hawks, Henry Clay being amongst them.
The Federalists were against going to war. America didn t have many ships, their leaders were out of
shape and most of them were drinking. The only reason the US gained a foothold in the war was due
to Britain being preoccupied in the Napoleonic Wars, which they defeated Napoleon not until 1814.
With the defeat of Napoleon came the end of impressment since

The Fifth Avenue Art Gallery
The Fifth Avenue Art Gallery is a premiere gallery located in Brevard Country and has operated since
1974. I visited this gallery on September 16th and liked that this gallery is open to the public and has
free admission. The Fifth Avenue Art Gallery contains wonderful art that are all originals. These visual
arts come in a variety of forms like painting, sculptures, crafts, and jewelry. The Fifth Avenue Art
Gallery has a wide variety of art too from many different artists and a beautiful collection of many
different pieces. I selected the Fifth Avenue Art Gallery because I was curious to see how other people
viewed Florida through their art. Two artists in particular caught my attention, Bill McCoy and Nancy
Hamlin Vogler. Bill McCoy is a traditional oil painter that creates paintings that reflect Florida s
lifestyle and nature. His paintings are semi realistic and capture the beauty of Florida. Bill McCoy was
the president of The Artists Guild of Brevard and The Strawbridge Art League (website). Nancy
Hamlin Vogler is an artist of many talents and creates art of many different mediums like acrylic,
charcoal, and mixed media. Her artwork is sporadic and spontaneous that ignites deep thought and
emotion. She is an award winning artist and is a member of the St. Augustine Art Association
(website). I walked around the whole gallery and look at all the different art, some art was really cool
and others weren t so much. I focused my attention on these two artists because they

Dental Floss Research Paper
Have you ever been in the dentist office when your gums started bleeding? Most likely, the dental
hygienist told you that this happened because you don t floss enough! Though this isn t true, there are
still plenty of benefits to practicing good dental care and flossing regularly. Here s some reasons to
NOT give up on dental floss, all from Cincinnati s top dentists at Lowitz and Meier! Recently, there
have been a slew of rumors floating around the internet claiming that flossing your teeth is not
necessary for optimal dental care. However, these rumors are far from the truth! In fact, they are all
stemming from one publishing error that happened last year. In 2015, the Food and Drug

Opelousas Massacre Research Paper
The Opelousas Massacre was a horrifying event that occurred on September 28, 1868, in Landry
Parish, Louisiana. The riot was sparked by conflict between black freedmen and whites over the
political control of the state of Louisiana. This resulted in a massive killing of blacks as whites had the
overwhelming advantage in numbers and weapons. What s most interesting about this case is the
mystery surrounding the accounts of deaths. No one can approximately confirm how many people
were killed in this massacre. Some sources identify as few as 30 people killed. Other sources estimate
killings to over 300 people. The Opelousas Massacre was one of the deadliest riots to occur against
African Americans during the era of Reconstruction. The Reconstruction ... Show more content on

Analysis Of Thomas F. Mathews The Mistake Of The Emperor...
The paper serves as a critical analysis of Thomas F. Mathews The Mistake of the Emperor Mystique
chapter in his book The Clash of Gods: A Reinterpretation of Early Christian Art. The scope of the
analysis extends only to the chapter, the works included in the chapter and some supplemental sources
by other art historians. It examines Mathews central argument and auxiliary claims, paying attention
to his use of sources. Additionally it probes the validity of his assertions, drawing comparisons to
other works or historians.
~~~~
The book The Clash of Gods: A Reinterpretation of Early Christian Art reevaluates fundamental
pieces of Late Antiquity art, facing off with what author Thomas F. Mathews dubs the Emperor
Mystique, an inclination to link images of Christ in this period to imperial iconography. In the first
chapter, author Thomas Mathews makes a lofty claim: Late Antiquity art blanketed under the Emperor
Mystique must be reassessed since art historians have tawdrily abused the theory to oversimplify Jesus
iconographic identity. The author structures his chapter one argument into three points. First, he
criticizes the idea of an unbroken art narrative consisting of a gradual flow from pagan art to Christian
art, resulting in the Emperor Mystique mix of imagery as a key transition point. Then, he considers the
Emperor Mystique s prevalence in Late Antiquity. Finally, he moves on to the art historians chiefly
responsible for the theory Ernst Kantorowicz, Andreas
Physical Therapists And Physical Therapy Essay
Physical therapists have become a highly respected and necessary part of the healthcare team, yet the
process of becoming a physical therapist has become increasingly challenging. Physical therapy
students must maintain a high GPA in order to remain in highly competitive doctoral programs and
must also successfully complete several clinical experiences over the course of, on average, three
years. For many students, their first clinical experience can be very intimidating because it will be the
first time they have been in a type of setting other than the classroom. Often times, they will have no
idea what to expect or how to prepare. Physical therapists also have the additional challenges of
dealing with drastic changes in the profession that include the disparities in healthcare, escalating
healthcare costs, and the demand for more efficient and cost effective practice (Hayward et al., 2013).
The scope of physical therapy practice is also evolving to include direct access as the norm in all 50
states, including Washington D.C. This change requires ever growing autonomy and clinical decision
making skills for all physical therapists (Hayward et al., 2013).
Clinical affiliations are an integral part of the doctor of physical therapy (DPT) education. Currently,
all physical therapy students in the United States will graduate with a doctoral degree. Along with this
relatively new advancement in the field, it is the expectation that entry level physical therapists are
Resilience Research Paper
In this huge world everyone is unique. These unique individuals go through many mental stress,
trauma and bad experiences in life. Due to this some of them are not affected but many are affected by
psychological, mental or physical illness. So what would be explanation for this happening? By
resiliency we can explain this phenomenon in better way. In real life doctors are also promoting this
concept to examine this in every effected individual. In this article, I review theoretical and by
experimental studies by comparing no difficulty or high difficulty with people experience difficulty
built resilience. That may increase the power of facing difficulties and stress in future.
Literature Review:
Resilience is a positive wave in terms of adversity, rather than to positive adaptation in general, It
surfaces in the face of hardship (Hawley, 2000, p 102) and also ability of an individual to come back
from hardship. Without struggle, resilience does not exist by Hawley.
To understand the resilience we need to understand the concept of stress. Stress is somewhat
subjective both in the measurement of severity and experience; the way in which individuals perceive
and interpret stressors may vary greatly (Bowes Jaffee, 2013). In this articles we found that stress is
the reason by which resilience occur.
Native Americans And The War On Natives
Imagine living in one place your whole life, that place is the only place you know. Now imagine
people you have never seen before come, kill your family, spread disease, and take the land for
themselves. That is what happened to the Native Americans in the 1700 s and 1800 s. One of the most
disrespectful and saddest times in American History was in the 1850 s with Westward Expansion and
the war on Natives. During that time, there were many new cities being built in the East and the
United States inevitably got too crowded in the East. Americans traveled west for more land and
opportunity, but this is where most of the Indians were living at the time. Did the Native Americans
have an aggressive nature, or did the Whites cause them to be hostile? The Whites greed almost
caused the extinction of Native Americans and caused them to become hostile towards the Whites.
With the Industrial Revolution going on, the world s population was growing rapidly with all the new
medicine, technology, and agriculture being invented. America seem especially appealing because the
country was so young with many opportunities. With all the new immigrants, the adventure seekers
traveled west in search of new experiences. This is called Westward Expansion. They found new
plants, animals, and gold. Everything was perfect for the White men except one thing, the inhabitants
of this wonderful land. The Natives were seen as dirty, and behind in technology. The Whites also
wanted the land for themselves.
The Ego and Despair in Ordinary People Essay
The Ego and Despair in Ordinary People
Ordinary People by Judith Guest is the story of a dysfunctional family who relate to one another
through a series of extensive defense mechanisms, i.e. an unconscious process whereby reality is
distorted to reduce or prevent anxiety. The book opens with seventeen year old Conrad, son of upper
middle class Beth and Calvin Jarrett, home after eight months in a psychiatric hospital, there because
he had attempted suicide by slashing his wrists. His mother is a meticulously orderly person who,
Jared, through projection, feels despises him. She does all the right things; attending to Jared s
It keeps resurfacing. Won t leave you alone. Conrad s slow but steady journey towards healing seems
partially the result of cathartic revelations which purge guilt feelings regarding his brother s death and
his family s denial of that death, plus the love of a good woman. Jeannine, who sings soprano to
Conrad s tenor... There is no doubt that Conrad is consumed with guilt, the feeling one has when one
acts contrary to a role he has assumed while interacting with a significant person in his life, This guilt
engenders in Conrad feelings of low self esteem. Survivors of horrible tragedies, such as the
Holocaust, frequently express similar feelings of worthlessness. In his book, Against All Odds ,
William Helmreich relates how one survivor articulates a feeling of abandonment. Did I abandon
them, or did they abandon me? Conrad expresses a similar thought in remembering the sequence of
events when the sailboat they were on turned over. Buck soothes Conrad saying, Okay, okay. They ll
be looking now, for sure, just hang on, don t get tired, promise? In an imagined conversation with his
dead brother, Conrad asks, Man, why d you let go? Because I got tired. The hell! You never get tired,
not before me, you don t! You tell me not to get tired, you tell me to hang on, and then you let go! I
couldn t help it. Well, screw you, then! Conrad feels terrible anger
Furthermore, Assuming That The Gorges’ Fifteen Year-Round
Furthermore, assuming that the Gorges fifteen year round employees work at the establishment, there
is a clear prove that they always intent to operate year round. Although in Bridewell they talk about
120 year round employees, the amount of workers in the Gorges is still substantially significant for the
minor league team operation since they do stadium maintenance, accounting, publicity, and other
administrative task. It could be argued, as mentioned on another case, that a truly seasonal business
which provides year round work for an insignificant number of employees could qualify for the 29
U.S.C S 213 (a)(3) exemption; however, a business that has 120 employees working year round can be
presumed they operate year round. See ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The Sets could argue for part (B) that they pass this test because they count their money once the
season starts which leaves them with less than 1/3 of their earnings for the off season. See .....
On the other hand, there are two things that Ortiz could argue against The Sets. First, the defendants
need to show records of their earnings if they want to make a reasonable argument about the whole
income thing. Since the burden of proof is on them, Ortiz has a better chance of winning this part of
the exemption because the defendant has not offered any calculation of the receipts. See Jeffrey.
Secondly, although the Sets do not count the money earn during the offseason as earnings, regardless
of their personal preference, the income needs to be calculated at the moment they make the
transaction. As clarified in Bridewell, the term receipts does not infer that is up to the establishment to
decide when to recode the money as income, but when they actually receive the money. Considering
that 7 months out the year, the Sets hosts games and promote stadium advertisements, part of the
selling activities and transactions happen during the remaining 5 months of the year. For both of this
major points, Ortiz shows a more reasonable argument.
Whether or not each element is perfectly met in each part of the exemption can be open to discussion.
Advantages And Disadvantages Of Islamic Cerdit Card And...
4.0 ISLAMIC CREDIT CARD
Life without a cerdit card is hardly possible in modern economies, but cerdit card purchases may
involve interest payments. Generally there is no problem from a Muslim point of view if card holders
pay the credit card company within the grace period, so as to avoid paying interest, though not all
fuqaha concur. Various Shariah councils have made liberal rulings that enabled financial institutions to
develop Islamic credit cards that provide credit for longer periods than the usual one month grace
period. With these cards, purchases are automatically financed over a afixed period, usually 12
months. Early payment results in a price reduction (El Gamal 2000, p.5).
Credit cards are currently probably one of the most popular methods of payment when it comes to
consumer transactions. From an Islamic Finance perspective, credit cards generally have one major
drawback in that they charge interest on ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Due to the nature of the card the client cannot pay for good in excess of their debit balance and credit
Islamic Credit Card issuer often require collateral such as cash deposits to reduce their exposure, and
share any profits from the investment of these amounts with the client. Islamic Credit Card can
typically not be used to purchase any non Shariah compliant items.
Credit card are very convenient method of making purchses without carrying cash. This is a service
There are many company that provide these services such as Telehealth, Doc on Demand, MDLive,
Skype and videos. Right now, there s growing buzz over the new Apple Watch s AirStrip feature,
which lets medical professionals look to their wrists to view patient information. (Eisenberg, 2016) Of
course, there are many pros and cons of these virtual doctor visits. One of the huge advantages of
One drawback it that the doctor can not check your heart beat for any irregularities, check your lungs
for crackling, or even take your blood pressure or temperature. Another issue is insurance coverage,
some states require that a patient relationship be established with an in person visit before the provider
can bill for a video visit. (Chironhealth, 2017) Getting reimbursements maybe difficult. Using these
forms of telemedicine, there is a chance that you may not know who the doctor is and you may not
always get the same doctor every time. Also, how trustworthy are the diagnosis? A national
Technology Advice survey of 504 adults in June, only 35 percent said they d be likely to choose a
virtual appointment over an in person one. A full 56 percent said they d be uncomfortable conducting
a doctor s appointment via telemedicine. And more than half of respondents over 65 (54 percent) said:
I would not trust a virtual diagnosis. (Eisenberg, 2016). All this technology is great, but what about
those who are not able to use or understand technology. Telemedicine would be difficult for an elderly
A Research Study On Conservation Genetics
Introduction
Conservation genetics is actually a recent evolutionary theory and practise of genetics on species in
order to reduce their risk of extinction. Some relevant studies improve the role of conservation
genetics in specific type of species. There are so many long lived species worldwide, either
amphibians or mammals which nowadays are limited and also distributed in certain areas. Most of
them can be found into small, fragmented isolated populations due to pollution, invasion of exotic
species, over exploitation and most important due to habitat loss (Frankham et al 1999). Their
amazing long life span shows both advantages and disadvantages. More living diverse species means
more stable ecosystem and regular flow of the food ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Bears
The carnivorous Grizzly bear (Ursus arctos L.) is a North American subspecies of the brown bear and
is nowadays the most widely distributed ursid. Nielsen et al (2006), likens the Grizzly bears as
keystone species suitable for discovering conservation habitat modelling from a survival and
occupancy framework. During the past century their population have declined noticeably throughout
much of North America, mainly due to susceptibility from low density, high trophic level, low
reproductive rates and late maturation. Also, the increased illegal human access causes the mortality of
most of the grizzly bears. Their demographies has also been changed; the brown bear in the lower 48
states has been reduced to 1% of its original area. The estimated population size has fallen from
100,000 in the early 19th century to 1000 in 1986 (Waits et al 1998).
Actuaries in IT-Programming
Definition
History on the development of programming in the actuarial profession
It has become evident in the work place that programming has become an essential skill. The
importance of developing IT skills is highlighted by the Work Based Skills and Actuarial Training
Offices (Actuarial Society of South Africa, 2013). Also, historical documentation has emphasized the
use of technology in life insurance as well as pension funds as early as the World War II era.
Yates (1997,p.60 and 1999,p.5) stated that in the 1950s life insurance was introduced to the use of
computers as soon as they were available to commercial firms. He further elaborated on how
insurance companies impacted the electro mechanical punched card tabulating equipment technology
since they were the primary users of the punch card machines during the late 1940s and 1950s. Figure
1 below shows an image of a punched card. Figure 1: IBM punched card (Ceruzzi, 2003)
During the second world war, many mathematically trained actuaries and other insurance employees
were recruited to work on military projects involving statistics, code breaking, bombsights and
operations research while a few worked on the new computer technology being developed during the
war (Yates 1999,p.5). A paper by Myers, Friend, and Holberton (1954) illustrates how a UNIVAC
(Universal Automatic computer) was used to complete a set of actuarial calculations . In 1956,
role in signaling negative outcomes or cues (Bomberg Martin et al, 2011; Proulex et al, 2014). It
projects to dopaminergic, serotoninergic, and norepinephrine systems that are acknowledged to be
important when switches in behavior are required (Robbins and Arnsten, 2009; Lecourtier and Kelly,
Waste Segregator Chapter 1
I. Introduction
Since the human being lived in this world, different kinds of waste were produced continuously. In the
early years, the common wastes produced were biodegradable. There are no major problems with this
since it will decompose over time. As the number of population increases and new inventions were
made, the kind of waste produced by humans also increases. Some of these wastes include plastics,
glass, metal, papers and many more. Some of waste scattered in the surroundings are recyclable. But
due to improper waste management, these are not optimized.
In the current generation, different manual systems are starting to be automated. Waste management
was also starting to follow the trend. In other countries, there are automated ... Show more content on
Whereas the crude methods of sorting wastes practiced may be efficient, it wastes useful time; hence
the need for a mechanized sorting machine. An attempt has been made to develop a waste sorting
machine, which is conceptualized to sort wastes into light materials, ferrous metals and other heavy
materials. The waste sorting machine consists of a hopper through which the waste is fed through; a
fan and air channel through which the light weight materials are separated from the waste matrix; a
belt conveyor which carries the left waste towards a magnet fitted shaft/pulley which separates ferrous
metals and also chambers into which the separated components of the waste fall. The machine is
designed with the major components being the fan, the belt conveyor and the magnet. Tests carried out
on the machine successfully classified wastes into light materials and heavy materials with inability to
sort ferrous metals. Samples of wastes tested weighed 1.15kg and 3.53kg. The wastes consisted of an
average of 32% of light materials and the time to sort the waste was 65 minutes per unit mass. This
machine separates light materials such as paper, nylon, textile and heavy materials similar to nylon,
ferrous and non ferrous metal, glass and paper sorted by the machine developed by Falayi in the tear
Beowulf Vs Dante The Pilgrim
What is a hero? Maya Angelou believed that a hero is any person really intent on making this a better
place for all people. When the word hero comes to my mind, I see someone who is noble in character
and is respected for his or her brave actions. A Christian hero is someone who displays qualities of a
regular hero but has qualities that are similar to characteristics of Jesus Christ. Jesus was a man who
was humble, courageous, and a man who helped others. Beowulf is a better example of a Christian
hero than Dante the Pilgrim because Beowulf exemplifies the characteristics of humbleness, being
courageous, and helping others more than Dante the Pilgrim does. For a hero to be humble, they have
sinners at first but he does not help them. Instead, he wants to know their names and stories so he can
put it into his notes (Inferno, XXXII). Dante the Pilgrim is using the sinners for their stories and does
not care to help them at least feel better. A Christian hero is characterized for helping others because
that is what Jesus did. Beowulf was a helpful person to others, while Dante the Pilgrim did not seem to
Fukushima Mental Effects
There are very few radiation effects that are suffered physically by people struck by modern nuclear
disasters. Rather, mental illness is the biggest risk. This was reported by the authors of many papers in
The Lancet. The Mental Effects of Nuclear Disasters Are Much Worse The physical dangers are
widely appreciated, but the mental effects are much larger. Taking into consideration the most recent
Fukushima incident, members of the staff at Fukushima Medical University, the doses of radiation that
public was exposed to were fairly low. There aren t many concerns for the physical health effects of
the people exposed, nor any concerns of psychological and social problems. However, the concerns
for the overall mental health of those exposed.
Excavation Sensory Play Research Paper
Dinosaur Ice Excavation Sensory Play As you know, I m a proud Daddy love spending time with my
toddler son. My wife I enjoy coming up with new and creative ideas to entertain him. Right now he s
very much into dinosaurs. Every time he sees a dinosaur toy (or anything) he says Grrr and Dine O ! It
s just the cutest thing how excited he gets over them. Over the weekend we put together this cool (pun
intended) dinosaur ice excavation sensory activity for the munchkin. I found a similar project on
Pinterest where they used balloons to freeze small toy dinosaurs and thought I would try it with
leftover Easter eggs. (Insert Link) My munchkin also had a T Rex sand mold laying around in his
beach toys so I wanted to incorporate that as well. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
We placed the plastic bins upside down on the grass and they quickly separated from the ice. My son
stood in amazement at this awesome new finding, wondering what the heck it was. I told him that he
needed to help get the dinosaurs out of the ice. He repeated Dino? with excitement. I brought the hose
over to help speed up the melting time. My son loved playing with the hose and spraying the larger
dinosaurs off the block of ice. It was a prehistoric slip and slide. We made a game of that for a while.
We talked about how ice is cold and is made of frozen water. My son would say Brrr every time we
used the word cold . We showed him how the water melted the ice and he got into that as well. Then
we referred to the bigger dino s as the mama s and dada s and the smaller dinosaurs as the babies. He
repeated after us and would call them Mama, Dada, Baby accordingly. We continued to hatch the
babies from the eggs while explaining how eggs hatch in nature. Of course our 20 month old didn t
exactly grasp everything we were talking about, but he sure had a fun time repeating after us and
Terrorist Attacks On The World Trade Center
There is little doubt that the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York on September 11
drastically changed America s sense of security in recent years. Yet the country is facing another kind
of threat, one that is not entirely different than the dangers of terrorism at a global scale: domestic
terrorism. At its core, domestic terrorism differs from any other type of terrorism in the sense that
those who carry it out are citizens or permanent residents of a given country and who inflict violence
and intimidation against their fellow citizens or permanent residents in the pursuit of political aims
(Sharpe, 2000, p. 606). In that sense, domestic terrorism may also be called homegrown terrorism.
Perhaps the best, and most gruesome, example that shows the difference between domestic terrorism
and other types of terrorism is the bombing of the World Trade Center. In the September 11 attacks,
the perpetrators were Islamist jihadists who belong to al Qaeda, a Sunni Islamist organization that
America eventually categorized as a network of terrorist groups. Most of the direct perpetrators
themselves were from Saudi Arabia while the rest were from Egypt, Lebanon, and the United Arab
Emirates (Bell, Clay, Murdie Piazza, 2014, p. 607). In other words, they were non citizens of America.
In the aftermath of the attacks, authorities revealed that most of the victims were American citizens
and permanent residents. The fact that the attacks were carried out in American
numerous social limitations put on women and their views on marriage resulting because of these
restrictions during that time ( enotes ). Jane Austen often used her writings to depict her viewpoint of
the British Social Class System. British Class System is a system in which a person belongs to the
Argumentative Essay On Maternity Leave
While doing some research, I have learned that maternity leave has become quite an issue. In Virginia,
we do not have a state law that specifically requires employers to offer pregnancy leave. Although, we
do have the Human Rights Act that must provide some leave for those women who are disabled by
pregnancy. Being disabled by pregnancy means that you can no longer do certain activities so that the
mother can deliver safely and care for the newborn. In America, the U.S. has a policy, The Family and
Medical leave Act of 1993. It is mandating 12 weeks of unpaid leave annually. Unfortunately, only
four states have paid maternity leave. The four states are California, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and
Rhode Island. California and New Jersey gives you 6 weeks and Rhode Island gives you only 4
weeks. Research has shown that women in the United States are more likely to drop out of work force
voluntarily due to lack of time with the infant and stress. After just looking at maternity leave in
America, I decided to branch out and do other countries. I wanted to compare the difference between
the two. Upon doing some research I ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
How Did The Shang Dynasty Influence Early Chinese Society
Early Chinese society was ruled by different dynasties. The dynastic rule was an important part of the
culture and its development. The rule was passed on from father to son, making the dynasty ruled by a
family. Xia Dynasty The Xia dynasty was the first historically known dynasty. It ruled China from
2200 1750 B.C.E. by Yu and his son (Judge and Langdon, 2016).The Xia dynasty controlled/ruled
many of the cities and towns along side of China s yellow river. They created many palaces, tombs
and paved the roads of China. The Xia dynasty is responsible for creating the early bronze tools and
weapons. Through scholarly arguments it is believed that the Xia dynasty was a mythological dynasty
that never existed. They ruled China up until they were overthrown by the Shang dynasty (Judge and
Slavery in American Literature
Slavery in the United States was a form of unfree labor which existed as a legal institution in North
America for more than a century before the founding of the United States in 1776, and continued
mostly in the South until the passage of the Thirteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution
in 1865. Most slaves were black and were held by whites, although some Native Americans and free
blacks also held slaves; there were a small number of white slaves as well.
. Slavery spread to the areas where there was good quality soil for large plantations of high value cash
crops, such as tobacco, cotton, sugar, and coffee. By the early decades of the 19th century, the
The slave narratives also gave Northerners a glimpse into the life of slave communities: the love
between family members, the respect for elders, the bonds between friends. They described an
enduring, truly African American culture, which was expressed through music, folktales, and religion.
Then, as now, the narratives of ex slaves provided the world with the closest look at the lives of
enslaved African American men, women and children. (in incheiere)
Uncle Tom s Cabin had a tremendous impact. The character Uncle Tom is an African American who
retains his integrity and refuses to betray his fellow slaves at the cost of his life. His firm Christian
principles in the face of his brutal treatment made him a hero to whites. In contrast, his tormenter
Simon Legree, the Northern slave dealer turned plantation owner, enraged them with his cruelty.
Stowe convinced readers that the institution of slavery itself was evil, because it supported people like
Legree and enslaved people like Uncle Tom. Because of her work, thousands rallied to the anti slavery
cause.
Southerners were outraged, and declared the work to be criminal, slanderous, and utterly false. A
bookseller in Mobile, Alabama, was forced out of town for selling copies. Stowe received threatening
letters and a package containing the dismembered ear of a black person. Southerners
sensibility. When digging a little deeper you are fully able to compare Owen s Dulce et Decorum Est
Characteristics Of The False Prophet
ix is the number of man, therefore, we have named this chapter, the six signs of the false prophet.
There are more, of course, but we have chosen major and consistent characteristic that follow false
prophets. We must interject that many prophets are not false, but fleshly. They lack maturity,
discipline, sensitivity to the Holy Spirit, and a strong knowledge of the written word of God. Many
have not died to their flesh. Others sadly lack in humility and have allowed their gifts to exclude them
from accountability.
Furthermore, we must understand that we are all false at some time or another. No one is infallible
except the Lord. The false prophet is one who has escape divine discipline and fallen headlong into the
ditch of deception. Here is the Lord s warning concerning the emergence of the false prophets as His
return approaches. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. For there shall arise
false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were
possible, they shall deceive the very elect (Matthew 24:11, 24). Let us make this point clear. If you are
a true prophet of the Lord, you certainly will be called false at some point in your ministry. The
servant is no greater than his master is. If they called our Lord false, a man perfect in every respect,
then assuredly, you will be called the same.
Consequently, every prophet must make your calling and election sure, that is you must know who
you are in God,
Gender And Misrepresentation In Sports And Media
Gender representation and in particular misrepresentation is a key issue within sport and media today
as female coverage of sport is overlooked in all forms of mainstream media. This issue is what we, as
a group of 3, had to tackle and present to our academic peers in a student led seminar session. The
issue derives from the main theme of sport and media and their relationship but could also be said to
have direct links to other themes such as sport and (in) equality. Gender representation comes under
both media and equality in terms of broader topics because it is the concern of the media to help
broadcast more female sport and raise awareness of the inequality which exists to the wide audience it
has to target, this doesn t happen enough currently. Research by Cooky et al. (2013) suggests that
female sports coverage on ESPN sport takes up around 3% of coverage time which is a shocking
disparity compared to men s coverage on the same channel. It also found that 0 news stories on
WNBA were published out of season across multiple news channels while the NBA had 72 stories.
Studying this topic is particularly important to understand historically and culturally why this problem
exists as well as to look at the negative ideologies which exist within sports media around the subject
of gender representation. One of the key sociological ideas which we introduced to our class mates
during the seminar was the concept of gender ideology, masculinity and how this impacts
How Did Robert Peel Contribute To Society
Life and Contributions of Sir Robert Peel to Criminal Justice Today Sarah Hamrick Introduction to
Criminal Justice Instructor: Chris Beddingfield Robert Peel was born on February 5, 1788 in Bury,
Lacashire ( BBC History Sir Robert Peel, 2014). He was born to a wealthy cotton mill owner. Peel
was trained as a child to become a politician(Simkin, 1997). Every Sunday afternoon, his father would
require him to recite both sermons he has heard that day (Simkin, 1997). Peel was educated at Harrow
School, and Christ Church, Oxford where he won a double first in classics and mathematics (Simkin,
1997). In 1809, to reward him for his success academically, Peel s father bought him the
Parliamentary seat of Cashel in County Tipperary (Simkin, 1997). Also in 1809, at the age of twenty
A Critique Of Capitalism And The Power Of The Bourgeoisie...
Critical Theory is defined as is a critique of capitalism, its appropriation of the surplus value of
collective work, and its commodification of every aspect of our modern society (Ward, p.1). In this
essay I will argue that although perhaps not inherently intentionally, both liberal and realism, in all of
their forms, represent hegemonic ideology, and that this has been proven throughout history, and
therefore support much of Marxist theory surrounding capitalism and the power of the bourgeoisie
class, both on a domestic and global scale.
Critical theorists share 4 assumptions: firstly they dispute realism in their belief that human nature is
effected majorly by social changes, as opposed to the belief that states dominate and that technological
progress has no effect on the autonomy of states. This is supported by liberalist thinking in the
development of international institutions, the process of globalisation has dramatically changed the
way states behave, something that realists choose to ignore. They believe that this is due to struggles
throughout history, which supports the idea of hegemony in that states that have been successful in
both economic terms as well as within warfare are more able to shape social change and progress.
Critical theory also emphasises the importance of emancipation, which links back to the Marxist
thought on which it is based, as it highlights the importance of citizens, and critiques both liberalist
and realist thought in its belief that
The Transformational Century And Historical Sources And...
1. Why is the 15th century called the transformational century and what historical sources and tools
can be used to verify this description! Please discuss fully.
While the 15th century had an abundance of things that collectively caused it to be called the
transformational century, such as the fall of the Ottoman Empire, the rise of the Byzantine Empire,
and the use of guns to fight battles, I believe that the printing press makes a strong statement about the
change in society. The reason the printing press stands out is it was a major change to how information
was exchanged. Prior to the invention of the printing press, it s estimated that only about 10% men/1%
women were literate (Willis, 2015). However, in 1674 literacy rates were 60% for men and 30% for
women (Harvard, n.d.). This increase in literacy rates greatly aided the Renaissance age by allowing
information to be spread much more rapidly than previously possible. Just as the printing press
encouraged the renaissance age, the renaissance age encouraged the use of the printing press. This can
be seen by the rapid increase in the number of towns that had printing presses in use, around 236
towns had their own print shops (Maxfield, 2009). This also caused ideologies to spread much faster
than, exposing people to previously unknown ways. Which in turn allowed people to develop their
own new ideas. This increased desire for knowledge is the heart why the 15th century is called the
transformational century. There
  • 2. The Management Of A Company How would you feel if you owned part of a company, but could not help make any decisions on the future of the company? Those who own majority of the company decide to hire mangers to make important decisions on your company. This is a general example on how shareholders run their company. Now wouldn t you rather help make decision, or be able to factor in ideas from the employees and community that has helped the business grow? If so, you might want to consider the stakeholders theory. Different stakeholders can hold varying amounts of influence and interest, within the organization. For example, consider a factory worker. An individual worker has large interests in the company, in terms of working conditions, salary, and benefits. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Internal stakeholders are described as the managers and employees of a company. Connected stakeholders are those that are beyond the immediate boundaries of the firm, while external stakeholders are those who are outside the firm. Some would say it is rather difficult to argue the stakeholders theory because there is not as much information on the subject as there is shareholders theory. They would argue that shareholders own most corporations; and presently, corporations owned by stakeholders would be unsuccessful in the long run. There has been some debate on the legitimacy of the concept of the stakeholder, according to Friedman and Miles. The stakeholder concept has not gone unchallenged. Many have reiterated the alternative stakeholder positions. Others have challenged implications of the stakeholder concept for certain groups (Friedman and Miles 118). Friedman and Miles go on to argue how stakeholders can weaken an organization, and even alter its long term characteristics. Assume that the stakeholder concept is infallible and consider the example of the factory worker. The company is publicly owned and is located in a more economically developed country (MEDC), where it will have a weaker influence from the government when compared to government owned companies. Labor unions associated with the company will likely be strong and workers will have a higher influence than they would in a less economically developed country (LEDC) where unions are ...   • 3. How Did The Us Foothold In The War Of 1812 The War of 1812 was the first war where the US actually declared war on anybody. The US was ready to expand and had their sights on Canada. The Northern states were against going to war as they relied on trade a lot. The Southern and Western states, being more agrarian, wanted expansion. The Americans who were ready for war were referred to as War Hawks, Henry Clay being amongst them. The Federalists were against going to war. America didn t have many ships, their leaders were out of shape and most of them were drinking. The only reason the US gained a foothold in the war was due to Britain being preoccupied in the Napoleonic Wars, which they defeated Napoleon not until 1814. With the defeat of Napoleon came the end of impressment since ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. The Fifth Avenue Art Gallery The Fifth Avenue Art Gallery is a premiere gallery located in Brevard Country and has operated since 1974. I visited this gallery on September 16th and liked that this gallery is open to the public and has free admission. The Fifth Avenue Art Gallery contains wonderful art that are all originals. These visual arts come in a variety of forms like painting, sculptures, crafts, and jewelry. The Fifth Avenue Art Gallery has a wide variety of art too from many different artists and a beautiful collection of many different pieces. I selected the Fifth Avenue Art Gallery because I was curious to see how other people viewed Florida through their art. Two artists in particular caught my attention, Bill McCoy and Nancy Hamlin Vogler. Bill McCoy is a traditional oil painter that creates paintings that reflect Florida s lifestyle and nature. His paintings are semi realistic and capture the beauty of Florida. Bill McCoy was the president of The Artists Guild of Brevard and The Strawbridge Art League (website). Nancy Hamlin Vogler is an artist of many talents and creates art of many different mediums like acrylic, charcoal, and mixed media. Her artwork is sporadic and spontaneous that ignites deep thought and emotion. She is an award winning artist and is a member of the St. Augustine Art Association (website). I walked around the whole gallery and look at all the different art, some art was really cool and others weren t so much. I focused my attention on these two artists because they ... Most likely, the dental hygienist told you that this happened because you don t floss enough!   • 6. Opelousas Massacre Research Paper The Opelousas Massacre was a horrifying event that occurred on September 28, 1868, in Landry Parish, Louisiana. The riot was sparked by conflict between black freedmen and whites over the political control of the state of Louisiana. This resulted in a massive killing of blacks as whites had the overwhelming advantage in numbers and weapons. What s most interesting about this case is the mystery surrounding the accounts of deaths. No one can approximately confirm how many people were killed in this massacre. Some sources identify as few as 30 people killed. Other sources estimate killings to over 300 people.   • 7. Analysis Of Thomas F. Mathews The Mistake Of The Emperor... The paper serves as a critical analysis of Thomas F. Mathews The Mistake of the Emperor Mystique chapter in his book The Clash of Gods: A Reinterpretation of Early Christian Art. The scope of the analysis extends only to the chapter, the works included in the chapter and some supplemental sources by other art historians. It examines Mathews central argument and auxiliary claims, paying attention to his use of sources. Additionally it probes the validity of his assertions, drawing comparisons to other works or historians. ~~~~ The book The Clash of Gods: A Reinterpretation of Early Christian Art reevaluates fundamental pieces of Late Antiquity art, facing off with what author Thomas F. Mathews dubs the Emperor Mystique, an inclination to link images of Christ in this period to imperial iconography. In the first chapter, author Thomas Mathews makes a lofty claim: Late Antiquity art blanketed under the Emperor Mystique must be reassessed since art historians have tawdrily abused the theory to oversimplify Jesus iconographic identity. The author structures his chapter one argument into three points. First, he criticizes the idea of an unbroken art narrative consisting of a gradual flow from pagan art to Christian art, resulting in the Emperor Mystique mix of imagery as a key transition point. Then, he considers the Emperor Mystique s prevalence in Late Antiquity. Finally, he moves on to the art historians chiefly responsible for the theory Ernst Kantorowicz, Andreas ...   • 8. Physical Therapists And Physical Therapy Essay Physical therapists have become a highly respected and necessary part of the healthcare team, yet the process of becoming a physical therapist has become increasingly challenging. Physical therapy students must maintain a high GPA in order to remain in highly competitive doctoral programs and must also successfully complete several clinical experiences over the course of, on average, three years. For many students, their first clinical experience can be very intimidating because it will be the first time they have been in a type of setting other than the classroom. Often times, they will have no idea what to expect or how to prepare. Physical therapists also have the additional challenges of dealing with drastic changes in the profession that include the disparities in healthcare, escalating healthcare costs, and the demand for more efficient and cost effective practice (Hayward et al., 2013). The scope of physical therapy practice is also evolving to include direct access as the norm in all 50 states, including Washington D.C. This change requires ever growing autonomy and clinical decision making skills for all physical therapists (Hayward et al., 2013). Clinical affiliations are an integral part of the doctor of physical therapy (DPT) education. Currently, all physical therapy students in the United States will graduate with a doctoral degree. Now imagine people you have never seen before come, kill your family, spread disease, and take the land for themselves. That is what happened to the Native Americans in the 1700 s and 1800 s. One of the most disrespectful and saddest times in American History was in the 1850 s with Westward Expansion and the war on Natives. During that time, there were many new cities being built in the East and the United States inevitably got too crowded in the East. Americans traveled west for more land and opportunity, but this is where most of the Indians were living at the time. Did the Native Americans have an aggressive nature, or did the Whites cause them to be hostile? The Whites greed almost caused the extinction of Native Americans and caused them to become hostile towards the Whites. With the Industrial Revolution going on, the world s population was growing rapidly with all the new medicine, technology, and agriculture being invented. America seem especially appealing because the country was so young with many opportunities. With all the new immigrants, the adventure seekers traveled west in search of new experiences. There is no doubt that Conrad is consumed with guilt, the feeling one has when one acts contrary to a role he has assumed while interacting with a significant person in his life, This guilt engenders in Conrad feelings of low self esteem. In his book, Against All Odds , William Helmreich relates how one survivor articulates a feeling of abandonment. Did I abandon them, or did they abandon me? Although in Bridewell they talk about 120 year round employees, the amount of workers in the Gorges is still substantially significant for the minor league team operation since they do stadium maintenance, accounting, publicity, and other administrative task. It could be argued, as mentioned on another case, that a truly seasonal business which provides year round work for an insignificant number of employees could qualify for the 29 U.S.C S 213 (a)(3) exemption; however, a business that has 120 employees working year round can be presumed they operate year round. The Sets could argue for part (B) that they pass this test because they count their money once the season starts which leaves them with less than 1/3 of their earnings for the off season. See ..... On the other hand, there are two things that Ortiz could argue against The Sets. First, the defendants need to show records of their earnings if they want to make a reasonable argument about the whole income thing. Since the burden of proof is on them, Ortiz has a better chance of winning this part of the exemption because the defendant has not offered any calculation of the receipts. See Jeffrey. Secondly, although the Sets do not count the money earn during the offseason as earnings, regardless of their personal preference, the income needs to be calculated at the moment they make the transaction. As clarified in Bridewell, the term receipts does not infer that is up to the establishment to decide when to recode the money as income, but when they actually receive the money. Considering that 7 months out the year, the Sets hosts games and promote stadium advertisements, part of the selling activities and transactions happen during the remaining 5 months of the year. Yet the country is facing another kind of threat, one that is not entirely different than the dangers of terrorism at a global scale: domestic terrorism. At its core, domestic terrorism differs from any other type of terrorism in the sense that those who carry it out are citizens or permanent residents of a given country and who inflict violence and intimidation against their fellow citizens or permanent residents in the pursuit of political aims (Sharpe, 2000, p. 606). In that sense, domestic terrorism may also be called homegrown terrorism. Perhaps the best, and most gruesome, example that shows the difference between domestic terrorism and other types of terrorism is the bombing of the World Trade Center. In the September 11 attacks, the perpetrators were Islamist jihadists who belong to al Qaeda, a Sunni Islamist organization that America eventually categorized as a network of terrorist groups. Most of the direct perpetrators themselves were from Saudi Arabia while the rest were from Egypt, Lebanon, and the United Arab Emirates (Bell, Clay, Murdie Piazza, 2014, p. 607).   • 29. Argumentative Essay On Maternity Leave While doing some research, I have learned that maternity leave has become quite an issue. In Virginia, we do not have a state law that specifically requires employers to offer pregnancy leave. Although, we do have the Human Rights Act that must provide some leave for those women who are disabled by pregnancy. Being disabled by pregnancy means that you can no longer do certain activities so that the mother can deliver safely and care for the newborn. In America, the U.S. has a policy, The Family and Medical leave Act of 1993. It is mandating 12 weeks of unpaid leave annually. Unfortunately, only four states have paid maternity leave. The four states are California, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. California and New Jersey gives you 6 weeks and Rhode Island gives you only 4 weeks. Research has shown that women in the United States are more likely to drop out of work force voluntarily due to lack of time with the infant and stress. After just looking at maternity leave in America, I decided to branch out and do other countries. I wanted to compare the difference between the two. Upon doing some research I ... The rule was passed on from father to son, making the dynasty ruled by a family. Xia Dynasty The Xia dynasty was the first historically known dynasty. They created many palaces, tombs and paved the roads of China. The Xia dynasty is responsible for creating the early bronze tools and weapons. Slavery in American Literature Slavery in the United States was a form of unfree labor which existed as a legal institution in North America for more than a century before the founding of the United States in 1776, and continued mostly in the South until the passage of the Thirteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution in 1865. Most slaves were black and were held by whites, although some Native Americans and free blacks also held slaves; there were a small number of white slaves as well. . The slave narratives also gave Northerners a glimpse into the life of slave communities: the love between family members, the respect for elders, the bonds between friends. They described an enduring, truly African American culture, which was expressed through music, folktales, and religion. Then, as now, the narratives of ex slaves provided the world with the closest look at the lives of enslaved African American men, women and children. (in incheiere) Uncle Tom s Cabin had a tremendous impact. The character Uncle Tom is an African American who retains his integrity and refuses to betray his fellow slaves at the cost of his life. His firm Christian principles in the face of his brutal treatment made him a hero to whites. In contrast, his tormenter Simon Legree, the Northern slave dealer turned plantation owner, enraged them with his cruelty. Stowe convinced readers that the institution of slavery itself was evil, because it supported people like Legree and enslaved people like Uncle Tom. Because of her work, thousands rallied to the anti slavery cause. Southerners were outraged, and declared the work to be criminal, slanderous, and utterly false. A bookseller in Mobile, Alabama, was forced out of town for selling copies. Stowe received threatening letters and a package containing the dismembered ear of a black person. Southerners ...   • 32. Comparing Wilfred Owen And Jarrell War Poetry: Analysis Both Owen and Jarrell share the pains of war. Using literary devices such as diction, imagery, and inner thoughts. Besides just the basics of literary devices the poets also use their close affiliation of war to help express the true disasters that not many people knew of. They possessed unusual sensibility. When digging a little deeper you are fully able to compare Owen s Dulce et Decorum Est and Jarrell s Death of the Ball Turret Gunner. At first glance Wilfred Owen s Dulce et Decorum Est is blatantly organized. In fact, it is comprised of multiple stanzas. But that is Owen s purposeful structure.   • 33. Characteristics Of The False Prophet ix is the number of man, therefore, we have named this chapter, the six signs of the false prophet. There are more, of course, but we have chosen major and consistent characteristic that follow false prophets. We must interject that many prophets are not false, but fleshly. They lack maturity, discipline, sensitivity to the Holy Spirit, and a strong knowledge of the written word of God. Many have not died to their flesh. Others sadly lack in humility and have allowed their gifts to exclude them from accountability. Furthermore, we must understand that we are all false at some time or another. No one is infallible except the Lord. The false prophet is one who has escape divine discipline and fallen headlong into the ditch of deception. Here is the Lord s warning concerning the emergence of the false prophets as His return approaches. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect (Matthew 24:11, 24). Let us make this point clear. If you are a true prophet of the Lord, you certainly will be called false at some point in your ministry. The servant is no greater than his master is. If they called our Lord false, a man perfect in every respect, then assuredly, you will be called the same. Consequently, every prophet must make your calling and election sure, that is you must know who you are in God, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 35. Gender And Misrepresentation In Sports And Media Gender representation and in particular misrepresentation is a key issue within sport and media today as female coverage of sport is overlooked in all forms of mainstream media. This issue is what we, as a group of 3, had to tackle and present to our academic peers in a student led seminar session. The issue derives from the main theme of sport and media and their relationship but could also be said to have direct links to other themes such as sport and (in) equality. Gender representation comes under both media and equality in terms of broader topics because it is the concern of the media to help broadcast more female sport and raise awareness of the inequality which exists to the wide audience it has to target, this doesn t happen enough currently. Research by Cooky et al. (2013) suggests that female sports coverage on ESPN sport takes up around 3% of coverage time which is a shocking disparity compared to men s coverage on the same channel. It also found that 0 news stories on WNBA were published out of season across multiple news channels while the NBA had 72 stories. Studying this topic is particularly important to understand historically and culturally why this problem exists as well as to look at the negative ideologies which exist within sports media around the subject of gender representation. One of the key sociological ideas which we introduced to our class mates during the seminar was the concept of gender ideology, masculinity and how this impacts ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 38. A Critique Of Capitalism And The Power Of The Bourgeoisie... Critical Theory is defined as is a critique of capitalism, its appropriation of the surplus value of collective work, and its commodification of every aspect of our modern society (Ward, p.1). In this essay I will argue that although perhaps not inherently intentionally, both liberal and realism, in all of their forms, represent hegemonic ideology, and that this has been proven throughout history, and therefore support much of Marxist theory surrounding capitalism and the power of the bourgeoisie class, both on a domestic and global scale. Critical theorists share 4 assumptions: firstly they dispute realism in their belief that human nature is effected majorly by social changes, as opposed to the belief that states dominate and that technological progress has no effect on the autonomy of states. This is supported by liberalist thinking in the development of international institutions, the process of globalisation has dramatically changed the way states behave, something that realists choose to ignore. They believe that this is due to struggles throughout history, which supports the idea of hegemony in that states that have been successful in both economic terms as well as within warfare are more able to shape social change and progress. Critical theory also emphasises the importance of emancipation, which links back to the Marxist thought on which it is based, as it highlights the importance of citizens, and critiques both liberalist and realist thought in its belief that ...   • 41. The Transformational Century And Historical Sources And... 1. Why is the 15th century called the transformational century and what historical sources and tools can be used to verify this description! Please discuss fully. While the 15th century had an abundance of things that collectively caused it to be called the transformational century, such as the fall of the Ottoman Empire, the rise of the Byzantine Empire, and the use of guns to fight battles, I believe that the printing press makes a strong statement about the change in society. The reason the printing press stands out is it was a major change to how information was exchanged. Prior to the invention of the printing press, it s estimated that only about 10% men/1% women were literate (Willis, 2015). However, in 1674 literacy rates were 60% for men and 30% for women (Harvard, n.d.). This increase in literacy rates greatly aided the Renaissance age by allowing information to be spread much more rapidly than previously possible. Just as the printing press encouraged the renaissance age, the renaissance age encouraged the use of the printing press. This can be seen by the rapid increase in the number of towns that had printing presses in use, around 236 towns had their own print shops (Maxfield, 2009). This also caused ideologies to spread much faster than, exposing people to previously unknown ways. Which in turn allowed people to develop their own new ideas. This increased desire for knowledge is the heart why the 15th century is called the transformational century. There ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
