Then Esau looked up and saw the women and children. "Who are these with you?" he asked. Jacob

So far, the college experience has made me a changed person. College changed me into a better
person on many occasions. I have learned to be more responsible, when it comes down to getting
work done. In college you must be responsible. I have also changed my attitude. Moving from high
school to college is a big step; if you don't change your ways for the better then you might not be
successful in college. When you reach college then is the time that you become an adult.
First off, the college life has changed me for the better. I am much more responsible in many
different ways. I had to change my study habits, or should I say I have to get study habits. I high
school I never studied, because everything came so easy to me and I could just...show more content...
That's just one example, there are many more. Another reason college is a big step is because you're
on your own, and you don't have nobody to tell you what to do, you make your own decisions when
it has to deal with getting up early in the morning to go to class, you have your parents or anyone to
wake you up, it's a big step, you just have to stay focus.
Third of all, you have to change your attitude toward school. You have to want to finish school;
you have to think about the money you are spending to go to school. For example you are paying
for every class you take and if you fail a class then you are paying for the same class again. College
is a major step from high school. I personally wasn't ready for college, but this being my second
year I understand what I have to do to finish school. I understand more and more why education is
a major issue in life, especially a college education. Entering college you have to change your game
plan to get where you want to be in life.
In conclusion, the college experience has made me a changed person. It has made me a changed
person for the better. I have learned a lot, I have learned responsibility. Without responsibility in
college you will not make very far. You must get your work done, and be punctual. You must make
the right decisions, don't let peer pressure get to you, try to avoid it. Don't let college change you for

12. College Admissions Essay: My Passion
When people would say "My hobby is this," or "My passion is that," I would wonder how he or
she found an activity that they could completely devote themselves to. I always thought that I would
immediately know what my passion or hobby was when I encountered it. For me, it happened to be
music. My passion for music, however, didn't come immediately; music wasn't something that I said
to myself, "This is it. I've found my passion in life." The piano wasn't like that at all.
When I started to play the piano, you could say that I wasn't its biggest fan. In fact, I hated it. I
remember my eyes swimming across the page, lost in a sea of little black dots. I mumbled endless
mnemonic tricks to try to read the notes. Every single part of your body is engaged to make that

have it narrowed down to three excellent and well –known colleges. Ohio University of Athens, The
Ohio State University of Columbus and Miami University are the colleges that I feel would foremost

and that's what interests me most about the college. College is not cheap or easy but it is doable.
Tuition for OSU is $11,285 per semester (collegecalc.org). With a larger college there is going to
be a larger enrollment number. According to (osu.edu) there is an average of 50,000 students
enrolled at OSU. Having a large variety of choices in majors is convenient. A total of 175 majors
are offered at OSU (osu.edu).The recommended ACT score ranges from 26–30 (osu.edu).
Scholarships and financial aid are both offered at OSU. The scholarships offered at OSU are
various types of merit scholarships awarded to those students who qualify (osu.edu).Financial aid at
OSU is like other universities ,they have grants loans and work study( osu.edu).Like Ohio
University , OSU offers extracurricular known as intramural sports and many other programs.

14. College Admissions Essay: The LGBT Community
College Essay Throughout my life I have experienced many things that have molded me into the
person I am today, but the one I find most profound involves my coming out as a member of the
LGBT+ community. As a child I suffered tremendously with confusion, self hatred, and
misunderstanding about my own sexuality. Growing up queer in a small town is never an easy
thing. I went through years of denial, and hid all of my thoughts about what I thought could be. I
was so muddled in an all too common train of thought that my first conclusion was that I was
incapable of loving another human being. Having never experienced honest crushes or any
emotional or physical attraction to the opposite sex, I was very frightened for my ability to one day
have a family. This thought put me into a mode of paranoia and panic. I began to search any place
I could for any other possibility, hoping for some form of medication or therapy to ail me of what
I thought was a mental illness. After only a few minutes at the computer, I realized there was
nothing wrong with my mind, or capability to love. I am just gay. After this realization, I was still

15. College Admissions Essay: Rubik's Cube
Puzzles always attracted me the most. And the one that took me by my heart was the Rubik's
Cube. I was always fascinated how a cube can force you to use your brain power to the absolute.
So one day i decided to go on a journey. An adventure. An adventure to the deepest parts of my
brain. It actually startes as a challenge. In my junior year, one of my friend challenged me to solve
a 3x3 rubik's cube. As of my nature to take up on challenges and never back down attitude–I
accepted. But the trick part was that I wasn't allowed any type of assistance. No solutions, no
algorithms, nothing. Pure brain power. So the next day I was on it. One by one, piece by piece, I
started to uncover the mysteries of it. I took it to the school, home, park, everywhere I went.
Sometimes I even forgot the count of the time. It was like a part of me now. I was obsessed with it.
Two weeks. It took me this much time to remember the first algorithm I thought that was going to
take me to the end of my journey. Took me one more week to know that I was wrong and that I had
to start from the bottom. Three weeks just to know that I was wrong. But then I remembered

16. Expectations And Expectations In College
Expectations and Goals As a new freshman, the next four years of my life can seem extremely
daunting, with huge possibilities as to the kind of person that I want to be when I graduate.
College is known as a transformation period in the life of a young adult, and I hope to take full
advantage of this time. By setting expectations and goals for myself, hopefully I can be
successful as I seek out the person that God wants me to be. I have set up, and outlined,
academic, spiritual, and personal goals to achieve my first semester here at college. For this
semester, I have set a high expectation for myself academically. Specifically, I would like to be
able to maintain all A's, and therefore a 4.0 GPA. If I am able to do this, and possibly continue it
on through all eight semesters of my college career, I will be a more competitive applicant for PA
school, or med school, or whatever post undergraduate schooling that my future entails. Not only
would achieving this goal be beneficial to my future career, I hope to honor Christ by working
hard in everything that I do, and this is one way that I can do that. This goal is measurable
because I can regularly check my grades to make sure that I am staying on track with each class
to attain this goal. I believe that getting all A's is also achievable is I remained focused and
driven, delegating ahead of time the study time that I will need to be successful in each of my
classes. For each hour that I spend in a class, I will plan on spending at least three hours outside of
class with the covered material to be successful. This can be realistic if I am careful to make sure
that I don't commit myself too heavily to extracurricular activities. While I will be checking my
grades weekly, half–way through the semester I will evaluate my study strategies, and whether they
were successful or need to be changed to stay on target. Ultimately, I would like to see myself
meet this goal at the end of the semester and carry the habits that I have learned to the rest of my
college career. Spiritually, I know that this time is quintessential in the establishing of my faith and
walk with Christ. My goal is to set habits and practices for myself that will help me grow spiritually.

almighty job. Most students that go to a community college have a full time job they attend to
after their full schedule of classes. Most jobs expect that you have no other outside life other then
thinking about what you are going to do next time you come into work. Supervisors can't
empathize with you because they themselves have been working the same job for the past ten
years, and have never even entered a college classroom. They demand that you always be able to

20. STEM Application Essay

STEM gave the tools and skills necessary to apply to amazing internship and encourage me to be
an outgoing student. While in high school I participated in clubs such as civil engineering and
animal rescue club where I helped collect $500 in donations for dogs in the BARCS Animal
Shelter by selling chocolate bars. I have also participated as a member in the National Honors
Society where we commit to scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Taking advantage of
all these experiences helped make me develop and mature as a person. As the coming years
approach, I want my future to hold both the passion to explore new opportunities and the strength
to overcome new challenges. With the experiences of my high school career, I aspire to take all
the things I learned to transition into a college environment where my ideas can be challenged and
shared. Where I can learn from others; where I can seek the opportunity to make a direct impact
towards saving lives. I believe I can do great things. Through tenacity I will not only be gratified in
becoming a doctor, but also be able to share my compassion for others through
