Cla Field Trip
CLA has been such a blessing to my life.It has allowed me to grow in my faith. CLA has provided a
great education and a safe environment. I wasn't here for all four years, I only was here for
sophomore year and senior year. The field trips provided, were amazing and educational. The field
trip I enjoyed the most pacific garden mission. I learned so much on that trip. People are still people
no matter their level in society. These people have the strongest faith and the hardest life. We met
women children and men all in the same situation. Ive met all different types of people at specical
events that CLA has hosted. At first i only attended these events in order to get service hours but
soon i realized that theres a deeper meaning to serve.

Importance Of Speech On Field Trips
I remember it like it was yesterday, running off the school bus as I excitedly skipped towards my
mother with a bright yellow sheet of paper in hand. I was so eager to tell my mom all about the field
trip we were going on as a class and have her sign the permission slip which would allow me to
attend. The destination, Milburn Orchards, a local agritourism facility that has everything from acres
of apple trees to pumpkin patches and from a petting zoo to its very own creamery. Looking back,
some of my most memorable experiences as a student, on field trips, revolve around the amazing
world of agriculture. These excursions allow us to dream big about what our future may hold. Ask
the 6 year old me and I would have told you I wanted to be a dairy farmer when I "grow up" – and
because of these "first hand experiences", I'd be willing to bet I wasn't the only kid in class that
would've mentioned a future in the world of agriculture. Yet, as we advance through our education,
selecting a career becomes problematic due to the pressures felt from sources which may not
encourage the field of agriculture as a career choice. So, how do we combat the disconnect seen
between the excitement of elementary aged students on field trips and the modern day college and
career readiness surge seen in high school?
Good morning, my name is Sara Collins, and today I am here to speak with you about the role
technology can play in recruiting the next generation of agriculturists. As we consider

California Science Field Trip
The purpose of this field trip is to learn new and adventurous facts about science. Our field trip will
be held on Wednesday April 13, 2016, in the California Science Center. The California Science
Center provides information about outer space, our body, and of course how the world began. We
will be going through several places including: the IMAX Theatre, the model of Endeavour, our
body systems, the botanical garden, and airplane models. We will start our itinerary by seeing our
body systems. Knowing how our body systems work will help us a lot in the future. The California
Science Center is the best place for that. It shows a 3D model of our heart. Not just our circulatory
system, but also out digestive system. We will go through a tunnel

Baseball Field Trip
Here again, At the baseball field with my three friends Allison, Emily, Miya. We always go there
after school. So me and my three friends met up at the field at 1:00 on Friday the 13, a2012. We
wanted to see who can hit the ball the farthest. So we got in are gear and that's when Allison pitched
the ball at me. I hit the ball so hard and I could hear the medal bat hit the ball. The ball went flying
in the air. And that's when I notest that it went straight threw Mr.Toms window. We almost got away
with it but then we herd "Little girls come here right know."
So we walked over to Mr. Tomes and said, "Yes Mr.Toms, but it was an accident."
So he said, you do know that your mom is going to have to pay for the accident."
"So we said yes Mr.Toms."
When we were done talking he left somewhere in his car so when he did I had to crab the baseball

Jamestown Field Trip
I am writing to you to request for approval to take a field trip to Jamestown and Yorktown. The
purpose of this field trip is to conclude our social studies unit on the Virginia Settlement and to
introduce our next unit on the American Revolutionary War. Through the past few weeks my class
has been studying about the history of the start of American colonies, specifically focusing on our
state, as the first colony founded. Students have been discussing important people in this era. We
have talked about Captain John Smith, Pocahontas, Wahunsonacock, Powhatan tribe, King James I,
John Rolfe and many others. Students have learned about the struggles and the hard work that was
put in to start the first colony of America in Jamestown Virginia. Through

Narrative Essay On Field Trip
The rain was beginning to slack up, but the wind was blowing at ten miles per hour. I thought this
was going to be one of the best days of my life. I remember telling my parents, three weeks in
advance that I was going on a field trip with my class to the Memphis zoo and I would like for them
both to come. I was so excited the night before the field trip, I couldn't stop thinking about all the
animals I wanted to see and take pictures of. Unfortunately, my mother had to work the day of the
field trip and my father had been sick with the flu for nearly two weeks. I was very disappointed that
my parents couldn't make the field trip with me and my classmates. All my classmates' parents
attended the field trip except of Kyle parents. Kyle hardly talked to anyone in the class, including
Mr. Jefferson who was absent the day of the field trip. Mr. Jefferson was tall and built like a
professional football player. In class he talks a lot about his college experience at Ohio State
University, where he played college football for four years and earned his bachelor degree in
Education. I remember this because he would always wear his Ohio State Buckeyes sweatshirt on
Fridays. The day of the field trip was on a Friday, so I was looking forward to Mr. Jefferson wearing
his Buckeyes sweatshirt, but he was absent, instead we had a substitute teacher for his replacement.
Her name was Miss. Taylor, she wasn't as tall as Mr. Jefferson, but she was nicer. She passed out
stickers and gave

Benefits Of School Field Trips
Schools everywhere around the world have field trips. Glenpool Middle School is one of the few
schools that doesn't have field trips, should it? Field trips would be great for students because it
would provide students with a break out of the classrooms, hands on activities, and it would reward
students for great behavior and working hard. This concept is talked about amongst students all the
time yet, it still hasn't changed. Glenpool should have field trips regularly because students are
slowly getting more and more restless coming in to the same place everyday and doing the same
things everyday. Field trips would provide students a break out of the classrooms. Sometimes
students get tired of doing the same thing over and over in the same environment and the students
need a new place to do new things. Therefore, students could meet new people outside of the
classroom these people could include: workers, tour guides, and even visiting students from
opposing schools that are on the trip. There are even times when teachers get tired of being in the
classrooms or the students being in there so the teachers may want to go or take the students to a
place where they could learn new and helpful things but also, be free from the classroom. As a result
giving students time outside of the classroom may also, change the way they act when back in the
classroom by learning the new stuff from the field trips. Most facilities that have field trips have

Field Trip To A Local Post Field Essay
Part B: Week four a field trip to a local post office occurs for students to learn about different parts
of a post office and how mail comes and goes. From the clerk, to the person who sorts the mail, to
the person who delivers the mail to mailboxes, and the postal worker who takes it to a larger sorting
facility to be distributed around the globe. The field trip to the post office aligned with the standards
because students are able to learn about the spatial organization of people, places and environment
on the earth's surface and explain how physical systems affect human activity and living conditions.
Students will learn how mail is collected, sorted, and delivered all around the globe. This aligns with
the objective because student ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Given a community helper booklet, students will be able to fill in information on different
community helpers worksheets with 80% accuracy. Materials needed:
 KWL chart from week two
 Community Helpers Booklet
 Markers
 Pencils
 Crayons
 Paper for sentence and drawing
Part D: The lesson plan will connect both standards for social studies and language arts, by having
the student answer questions on a worksheet about different community jobs, as well as writing one
or two sentences and draw a picture of a community job the student would like to do when they
grow up. Previously learned material for social studies would include community learning the
student's learned about from Kindergarten or their parents' jobs. Previously learned material for
language arts would include being able to answer questions orally from detail within a text.
Learning how to use the information from a book or text help students with comprehension skills
and retention of what they read. Student will then be able to use this knowledge and apply it to
individual work on their own worksheets. Differenciated instruction for learning disabled could
include having students answer their community helper worksheet out loud to a teacher or teacher
aide, as well as having the question read out loud for better understanding. This effectively meets

At the mosque, the worship space is an open area with drawn in mats on the floor to separate people
to give everyone enough space. When looking at the ceiling, all the artwork is symmetrical and
beautiful, including a big chandelier hanging from the ceiling. The symbols of the artwork on both
sides represent God and Muhammad, but humans are not used in the artwork. There are also points
in front of the mosque which point to Mecca. The worship space does not have any furniture in it, it
is just a open room, full of the drawn in carpet spaces. During prayer, different positions/postures

At this church, he stated that their Bishop comes once or twice a year. During the time at this
church, the artwork and stained glass windows are beautiful but also represent the important figures
for this religion. The church felt similar to being in a Catholic and/or Christian church. Unlike the
temple we went to before, these people were very welcoming to us and friendly. They wanted to

Zoroastrianism is the oldest monotheistic religion that was founded 2,000 years before christ, and
has been the dominant religion for 1,000 years. It is looked at as the religion of good life,
consequence and responsibility. Ahura Mazda is the highest spirit worshipped in
Zoroastrian. The temple is very small and the only one in Illinois, with one in Texas, New York, and
multiple in California. Since there is only a few amount in the United States, there is no set time for
service because people have to travel from far away just to come. In the worship space, you can not

8th Class Field Trip
If there's one thing I'll never forget, it's my 2012 eighth grade class field trip. When I was in eighth
grade I attended a private school on the West Side of Chicago. Ironically, this Lutheran grade school
was the gateway to hell; but that's another story for another time. However, this "crime" I committed
was so bad that I was banned from participating in any of the annual activities that took place on the
last week of school.
Every year the eighth grade class spent one weekend out of town as an early graduation gift from the
school. In May of 2012 our field trip destination was Atlanta, Georgia. If you ask me the whole
thing was rigged from the beginning. The school rented a bus as our method of transportation to and
from Georgia. From the moment we boarded the bus and took our seats I knew something rebellious
was bound to happen. The teachers were so strict about everything. The girls and boys were to
separated at all times, even on the bus. The ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I then realized that I was still in the boys room. After getting yelled at I called my mom at 6 o'clock
in the morning (5 o'clock in Chicago) and told her every single thing. She told me and to worry and
that she'd take care of it when I made it back to Chicago. The rest of the trip was disturbingly
depressing. I wasn't allowed to be alone under any circumstances. I couldn't even go to the restroom
without a chaperone.
I was so relieved and afraid when we made it back to Chicago Monday morning. There was a mini
trial awaiting me along with all of the students, teachers and chaperones, Tuesday morning. The
teachers and administration tried to sexualize the entire thing. After hearing from everyone the
administration came to the conclusion that they couldn't prove anything sexual happened (because
nothing did.) However, several students along with myself were in a lot of trouble because we went
into the rooms of the opposite sex and organized a party for

Amistad Field Trip
To be honest, I really did not want to go to see the Amistad, even though I had completed all written
requirements because I believed the boat was small and cramped. Jackie, who was the instructor of
the Amistad, who spoke at Options, gave us background history about the boat. It was from this
background history that I interpreted the boat was small and cramped. Even though I had not seen
the boat in person, I believed it was tiny and restricted.
My teachers at Options and my parents tried to convince me to go on the Amistad field trip. Elin
offered me information about who was going on the trip, the food that was being ordered, and staff
that were going. The Options staff that were traveling to see the ship were my teachers. My parents
persuaded me by stating that this might be the only time I see a piece of history like this because the
Amistad sails all over the country. One never knows when the Amistad will be in port in
Connecticut.
My anxiety concerning the size of the boat dissipated because the Amistad ... Show more content on

Mediterranean Art Field Trip
The field trip to the Cleveland Museum of Art was a real good way to bring the material into
perspective for the class. It's one thing to read about subjects in the books. But seeing something in
person really brings it into reality. What really intrigued me the most about the field trip was at how
powerful the influence of silk was in many regions of the world. The influence of silk spread
throughout the Mediterranean and it became a sought after commodity. Many people gained note
worthy trading opportunities like the Chinese due to their production of silk. The process of silk
making is a long and arduous process. You can see in the example of Figure 1, that it shows the
process of how the Chinese created silk from the start to the finish. It would go through of raising
the silkworm until it becomes a cocoon. This cocoon would then be taken by hand and slowly
extract the actual silk from it. In order to produce any significant amount of silk, large quantities of
these cocoons would have to be extracted in order to make any kind of progress. It would then be
stored and used later on to make fantastic works of art. Some of the silk pieces showed extreme
craftsmanship with its making. You can take for example of ... Show more content on

Humans typically like to gravitate towards objects with a shin for value. And silk honestly fulfilled
this human need for this very outspoken look of material with the benefits of it being extremely soft
and smooth. So it really wasn't a surprise that it gained much traction when traders first discovered
the existence of it. It really is like gold or silver in a way. It really attracts the eye much more than
something like plain clothing that was there during the time. And fashion itself is very much in all
types of societies; whether people want to admit it or not. How you look will determine how people
will treat you. And that has been true for people in the year 500 to modern day

Field Trip To Lava Beds
Our school wants to go on a field trip to Lava Beds National Monument but, our principal want let
us go. Our principal says that we don't have the money to approve a trip like that. The principal says
that we would have to save up the schools money to go on the trip. The principal says the trip cost
$65,000 including the lunch and the bus ride to it but, the principal still won't let us go. There are
some benefits that should make the principal change her mind about letting us go. The first benefit is
we can study what artifacts there are at Lava Beds National Monument. We can see even the Lava
Beds statue that has carved lava beds and we could probably even hear the history and we can write
a report about it. We could go into the caves and take a tour in the caves and see what mother nature
has in stored in the caves. In Science we have study a lot then I have imagined about caves and
volcanoes. So I think we have a chance to study about the caves since we talked about them a lot in
science class. This trip can better help us with the study of caves and volcanoes. According to the
passage " there are 20 caves to explore" in Lava Beds. We could take a tour in the caves and study
the rocks in the caves. This could help us to when we study about rocks in science and living nature
in the caves like bats and etc. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

What Is A Field Trip Essay
Can a rewarding field trip be beneficial or change the lives of young students, despite GKB's
argument that they are not? Yes, I think they do. A reward trip can yield benefits similar to––and
different from–– a field trip to an art museum. Once a child goes to a place beyond the classroom it
opens the child to view a different ideas of the world and expectations which is intertwined with
something they can enjoy. I was lucky enough to get to go and enjoy The World of Coca–Cola
museum in Atlanta, Georgia in the 7th grade. When I went to this museum, I was educated on the
creation and the background of the Coca–Cola enterprise. Once it was all over, I had a new outlook
on life just from a small bubbly beverage.
Schools want to continue to foster interest in education by creating fun, entertaining, rewarding and
liberating educational opportunities. So they take students to Theaters, Art Museums, Historic
Cities, and even Amusement Parks just to give the children some variety and excitement to add to
their day outside the classroom. Field trips are either a preplanned idea or something thrown into the
semester to end a study period. When field ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Sometimes places accommodate schools, as it states in the article about Crystal Bridges Museum of
America, "because the tour is completely free to school, and because Crystal Bridges was built in an
area that never previously had an art museum, there was a high demand for school tours." (Green, et
al. 2) So when schools don't get sent the bill of the field trip cost, they are more likely to send
students on "rewarding" field trips, like mine, to The World of Coca–Cola museum. The opportunity
to go to the World of Coca–Cola museum helped me realize how "rewarding" field trips can teach
children about social interactions and morals and how these lessons could be

Field Trip Assignment For my field trip I went to the Richard Nixon Library in Yorba Linda. I
actually live right down the street and yet have never taken a trip there. This place is a library and a
museum. It was so interesting to walk through, looking at all of the history that was made there. The
three things that I valued the most form this experience was the Birthplace, the Presidential
Helicopter, and the East Room. Considering Nixon did grow up in that house that is located at the
scene, it was very impressive to see that the house was still standing. The helicopter was also located

I actually got to go in the Helicopter, which was very cool. This helicopter was used by President
Nixon, Ford, Johnson, and Kennedy. This helicopter seats 16 people and cost a million dollars to put

was controlling it at the time. It was said that President Nixon used it more then 160 times and one
of those times was when he took it over seas for the Summit meeting with President Sadat in Egypt.
One of the most famous trips was when he took that helicopter to a military base after he resigned.
This helicopter was brought from the White house in 1976 and was used for secret service. Then it
was installed in the library grounds in 2006. This helicopter is so unique and interesting. When I got
to walk through it, it was fascinating to see the assigned seats for the president and his crew. Also
something striking was that they were able to smoke in this helicopter back in the day, so there were
ashtrays. This helicopter is such a valuable symbol for President

Historical Play Field Trip
Field trips can be used to provide students with research and opportunities around a specific subject.
They are a way to provide a setting for the practice of observational skills, to bring curiosity into
light and inquiry. The purpose of a class seeing a historical play is to surround them with African
American history, culture, and situations. The rationale behind the following field trip is to
encourage students to further study slavery, oppression, and discrimination. These students will
discover a world involving violence, culture, and religion. Students will gain vast knowledge on the
importance of equality and racial segregation, while examining racial History.
One of the major objectives for this trip is for students to understand the relationships between race,
power, and how race and ethnicity intersect with other factors such as gender, class, sexuality, and
religion in the United States. It is important that all students, ... Show more content on

Project: Let's Hit the Road!
A field trip is a tour by students to gain firsthand knowledge away from the classroom, as to a
museum, a factory, a geological area, or to an environment of certain plants and animals.
Field trips can connect schoolwork with the world, making it tangible and memorable. It stimulates
questions and ideas at the beginning or end of a unit. They also provide an experiential "text" for
students to study and interrogate.
If you deserve a fun but educational break from the everyday class routine, plan a field trip. This
project will show you how.

I. Select a date. Find out when they accept school groups. Also find out the admission costs, the
availability of transportation and the cost of chartering buses.
II. Talk to the principal and get permission to go. Be prepared to explain the educational value and
the relationship to the curriculum.
III. Contact the trip site and make or finalize your reservations for the group. Make sure to confirm
your arrangements shortly before the trip.
IV. Obtain your school board's standardized letters for parental permission as well as the standard
trip planning package.
ACTIVITY 2: Create a set of rules and regulations to follow during your field trip.
Establish a list of rules that will help you get the most from your trip. Which would be some safety
rules the travelers must follow? Set some bus etiquette rules too. Also, decide on the measures the
students must follow in case of emergencies.
Work in trios and come up with some rules by filling the chart. Then, with your group decide the
regulations the travelers must follow. Finally, write an agreement with all the regulations and sign it.

As we were walking through the village, in which people have lived their entire lives, I began to

beautiful resorts next to beautiful beaches. I believed the same misconception until I arrived. The
shacks around me were half built and their residents were standing out front selling excellent goods.
A countless amount of these people had remarkable skills, nevertheless, they still lived

students an opportunity to embark on a marine biology trip. The trip consists of a one–week stay at

men treat women with care and as well as goodness of humanity. This could also be form of norm in
society in American values as a gentlemen –– courtesy and politeness. It is our expected perception
of masculinity –– what society deems as appropriate behavior for a "man". The attitudes of the
employees particularly put a smile on my face. They were hardworking, took orders down politely
and efficiently, ensuring that my order was perfect. They had manners and gave me a positive/happy
vibe. They made sure to work fast and efficiently, trying their best to not hold up the queue. They
were quick in making their customers coffees and this showed me the achievement, work and

Educational Field Trip
The point of an educational field trip is to go outside the walls of the classroom, and to still learn
new things that'll stick to you. And that's exactly what this field trip was, educational. I have learned
so much while visiting Western Kentucky University that I will take with me throughout the rest of
my senior year, as well as while I'm in college. Meeting all the different people really taught me a
lot. First, hearing about Greek affairs. I wasn't ever against being in a sorority or for, but hearing that
they are not for everyone made me think. She mentioned that being in a sorority comes with being
involved in many activities, on top of your studies and social life. Which would be a problem for me
because I also have a job along with

Medieval Times Field Trip
As I think of my best day in school I come to the day when I was in seventh grade. On this day we
had planned on a Medieval Times field trip. This was by far my best and most favorite day of
school. There are many reasons why this memory of middle school stood out in my memories. First,
our house got to take the double–decker badger bus. This was very fun because our whole house
was able to fit on this bus. This made us all talk and get to know each other. Also,Mr. Schneider, our
social studies teacher, made the bus ride very interesting with his "airplane guide" as we passed the
airport. This was about two–hour car ride and we weren't stuck on an old smelly school bus, we
were on the Badger Bus. Secondly, we got to miss school. Now this

Philadelphia Field Trip
In May, 2016 The 7th grade went on a field trip to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This was one of the
best days of school. That morning all the 7th grade got to school early. We were all excited and
ready to go on this educational trip. The bus ride was one of the best parts of the trip. I got to sit
with my friends in the very back of the bus. It was a lot of fun. When we got there we met are tour
guides. The 7th grade was so excited to to Philadelphia. We started our trip by seeing a place that
made coin money. We did not get to go in it but we saw the building were they made the coins. We
saw the Betsey Ross house. In the Betsey Ross house we saw some of the places she worked. We
also got to see lots of monuments like a church.

Personal Narrative: My Field Trip To Correctional Prison...
Going on this field trip to the Correctional Prison Center in Redgranite was just like I thought it
would be. I've been to a Prison before in bigger places like Texas and California so it was similar. In
all honesty there wasn't anything I learned from this trip but it did however make me not want to be
judgemental towards people. It also made me sympathetic and grateful that I'm not the one locked
up behind bars. Getting to know the inmates and their stories was pretty amazing. My favorite
inmates were: Coach, the second guy who killed a guy at age seventeen and the drug lord. I liked
Coach because he was extremely kind hearted and it made me realize that no matter what people do
there's always good in everybody. I also admired how optimistic

Lava Beds Field Trip
Mrs. Scarlet my 6th grade level and I would like to go on a field trip to Lava Beds National
Monument. The Lava Beds National Monument is full of history and geological wonders. Also, it is
California's "best kept secret". Three reasons why we should go to Lava Beds National Monument is
because we could learn more science, the landscape and attractions, and because it does not have too
many visitors
My first reason why we should go on this field trip is because it will be educational. In the field trip
we would mostly learn about science. According to Lava Beds National Monument, it states, "Over
700 caves have now been discovered hidden in the natural wilderness of the area." When we go to
the field trip we would learn about the caves and volcanoes formations. Even though some caves are
very old, we would have to bend and crawl through tubes of ragged rocks, and we would have to be
cautious, we would use sturdy shoes, helmets, knee pads, and flashlights. Also not all the caves are
old and have jagged rocks, based on Lava Beds National Monument, some caves have high ceilings
and smooth floors, which would make exploration more easy. When we are on the trip we would

The Lava Beds National Monument is in the border of California and Oregon, which is that too far
from here. One of the attractions we will see is a two–mile loop that provides about 20 caves to
explore, according to their article. Based on the article is states, "Tourists can explore underground
lava tubes that look almost like rocky waterslides. They can also take guided tours of the park, hike
along scenic trails, climb cinder cones, and learn about the natural volcanoes and high desert in
northern California." This would be a great experience for many

Antebellum Field Trip
If I was preparing a Kindergarten class to go on this field trip I would do an activity with the
students where the students brainstormed about what different types of responsibilities their moms
(female figure) have to keep their houses running smoothly. We would create a list of these
responsibilities and then compare them to the responsibilities of women in a wealthy family during
the antebellum period. After going on the field trip I would follow up by discussing with the
students about how the Hampton–Preston Mansion was turned into Chicora College. The students
will start to learn that for the first time, women could begin receiving four year degrees in fields
other than nursing and education such as business degrees. I will then have

Field Trip Reflection
After the field trip today to Carter & McCrae, I can say that my beliefs and understandings about
children from a different cultural and/or ethnic minority group have changed significantly compared
to before the trip. Before the trip, I had some basic understandings of the challenges that these
groups face but I never truly understood all of the obstacles that they have to overcome.
Overcoming these obstacles will allow them to be successful in schools which will better enable
them to be successful in the future. Some of the different aspects that I found eye opening included
the disadvantages that some of the groups faced like lack of housing. Another obstacle that I found
interesting was how much work it took to receive support in today's society. I was also surprised by
the challenge that people who have a refugee status often face. In this reflection of my trip I plan to
explain how these major points surprised me the most.
Before I went on this field trip I had a basic understanding of the challenges that these groups could
face. Some of these challenges included a lack of a steady job or lack of a steady place to live. But
after attending the trip I now understand that there are more negative impacts that what first meet
the eye. I now understand if a student doesn't have a steady roof over their head or if their family is
struggling financially, then the student is at a higher risk of not being successful in school. This
higher risk is due to a number of different reasons. One of the reasons is that as kids are having to
move from house to house and therefore they are often missing days in school. But there is more to
this issue than missing lessons. The kids are also loosing the connection with their teachers and
other students which the kids desperately need.
I was also surprised by how much work it is for someone to receive support in today's society.
Before the trip, I had a basic understanding that there was often a lot of waiting involved when it
came to applying for different types of supports like food stamps or Medicare support. After
attending the field trip I learned that there was more than just having to wait for the papers to be
processed and just to fill out a few different forms. For

Field Trip Proposal
The place I chose for the field trip proposal is Epcot theme park. I chose this place because of its
diverse culture exhibits. Some reasons I picked this place are, they have many culture experience's,
you can explore different culture in one day, and it a good place to taste the different foods and
music across the world. It ties into humanity because it explores different countries that have
impacted our society from the food to the music, to even our architecture. It also shows us the
diverse countries and some of its history.
To begin with one big reason, I picked Epcot is because of its diverse culture exhibits, for example,
they have an exhibit's showing different countries such as Mexico, France, China, United Kingdom,
and many more ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In Epcot, the exhibit does not only look like the actual countries but also gives you the types of food
and music that they would have. For example, in the China exhibit they have a restaurant call the
Nine Dragons Restaurant that serves Chinese food and too many people it is just Chinese food you
can get anywhere, but because you're walking around an exhibit of China, your listening to the
music, and seeing the different structures it enriches the experience moreover it transports you into
China and makes you feel like you there finding a place to eat. In addition, the music in the different
exhibit's makes it so much better because you're not only pleasing your sense of sight and touch with
the structures and you sense of taste and smell with the food but giving you a full experience with
the sense of hearing with the music.
In conclusion, I chose Epcot as my field trip proposal because we get to see different countries in a
more enriching way than reading or listening about. It lets us have a small recreation of different
countries and their style from the distinct design, to the food and culture, to the music it is the best
way to explore that for our humanities

Forecasting Methods
Genius forecasting – This method is based on a combination of intuition, insight, and luck. Psychics
and crystal ball readers are the most extreme case of genius forecasting. Their forecasts are based
exclusively on intuition. Science fiction writers have sometimes described new technologies with
uncanny accuracy. There are many examples where men and women have been remarkable
successful at predicting the future. There are also many examples of wrong forecasts. The weakness
in genius forecasting is that its impossible to recognize a good forecast until the forecast has come to
pass. Some psychic individuals are capable of producing consistently accurate forecasts.

Each is an expert in his own discipline, and it is through the synthesis of these opinions that a final
forecast is obtained. One method of arriving at a consensus forecast would be to put all the experts
in a room and let them "argue it out". This method falls short because the situation is often
controlled by those individuals that have the best group interaction and persuasion skills. A better
method is known as the Delphi technique. This method seeks to rectify the problems of face–to–face
confrontation in the group, so the responses and respondents remain anonymous. The classical
technique proceeds in well–defined sequence. In the first round, the participants are asked to write
their predictions. Their responses are collated and a copy is given to each of the participants. The
participants are asked to comment on extreme views and to defend or modify their original opinion
based on what the other participants have written. Again, the answers are collated and fed back to
the participants. In the final round, participants are asked to reassess their original opinion in view of
those presented by other participants. The Delphi method general produces a rapid narrowing of
opinions. It

elementary schools performed hands–on experiments for children. Today the Sciencenter is known
as a museum with over 250 different exhibits/ experiments, they also have many different events
that take place such as Story time for preschoolers and events that have to deal with science in

class would like to Visit the Ithaca Sciencenter. During the field trip, students will have the
opportunity to do hands–on experiments, and create a discovery boxes. Students will also be able to
participate in the exhibit: Attack of the Bloodsuckers! This exhibit includes: learn about the science
behind bug bites. This includes mosquitos, fleas, ticks, leeches, and other parasites. The first activity
was to solve a puzzle using the eyes of a mosquito, next students would match bug mouths to the
type of food each insect eats. Then students match magnified and unmagnified images of blood
sucker. Finally, students find different scents in a way a bloodsucker would. By getting a chance to
go to the Sciencenter students will meet the following Elementary Science Core Curriculum:
Standard 1: Analysis, Inquiry, and Design, standard 2: Information Systems, standard 6: Models.
The cost of the field trip would be free; however, I must email Josh Giblin as it takes a few weeks to
process a field trip request. For any additional information, I will provide the link to the Sciencenter
website.

Conodoguinet Creek Field Trip
This year I went on a field trip to the Conodoguinet Creek. This creek runs into the Susquehanna
River and drains 500 square miles of diverse landscapes. Conodoguinet comes from an indian word
meaning "a long way with many bends." It begins near Carlisle at North Middleton Park and comes
to an end in West Fairview, when it flows into the Susquehanna River. The Conodoguinet Creek is
about 90 miles of bends and loops that meander throughout Cumberland Valley. When I went on this
trip, I tested how fast the water was moving downstream. I also tested the creek for the acidity and
eutrophication. Eutrophication is excessive richness of nutrients in a lake or other body of water,
frequently due to fertilizer runoff from the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
At this station, we had to go into the creek, pick out rocks, and observe and identify the animal life
living on that rock. Animals that live in the water need dissolved oxygen so they can breathe under
the water. The more turbulent the water is, the more dissolved oxygen can be found in it. The
amount of dissolved oxygen in a body of water will determine the type and number of macro–
invertebrates that may live there. There are three groups of animals that you could find in the
Conodoguinet Creek. Group one is called stream insects and crustaceans. These are pollution
sensitive organisms, which means they cannot exist in polluted waters. Group one organisms are
only found in good quality water. Some examples of these organisms are mayflies, gilled snails,
water penny, or a stonefly(shown in figure 8.) The next group is the organisms that are somewhat
pollution tolerant, which means they can be found in good or fair quality water. Crayfish,
dragonflies, and clams are all examples of group two organisms (shown in figures 3, 6, and 9.)
Group three organisms are pollution tolerant organisms. This means they can be found in any quality
water. Some examples of group three organisms are pouch snails, pond snails, orb snails, and
leeches. When I conducted this experiment, I found seven group one organisms, seven group two
organisms, and five group three organisms. Macroinvertebrate is another word for organism.

Today the class went on a mock field to the archaeological museum as if we were fourth graders. We
were asked to find certain objects in each section and then the guide would then explain. We were
provided information from the history from the past. We were given a clarification on the common
misconceptions on the study of archaeology. The field trip ended with the knowledge of different
cultures that came through Mobile and the cultural information and artifacts they left behind
(Spanish, French, and Mississippian Mound Indians). The field trip overall ran efficiently. The
students participated during the question portion along with some students with their questions to
the guide. There was engagement among the class during the entire trip. The teacher provided a
document about what to look for during the field trip and provided the time for the trip along with
transportation (bus to/from the museum; some drove their vehicles). Management and curriculum
worked separately and interchangeably with one another. When doing this field trip with a fourth–
grade class, the teacher would need to think about how to differentiate the class from the public

The Physics Of The Field Trip Essay
The field trip will contain a Kindergarten class of 21 students (15 boys and 6 girls). One student has
spina bifida and another is special needs. Since one student is special needs, she will need a
chaperone. Even though the tour is about 15 minutes, the student with spina bifida needs a
chaperone to carry him incase he gets tired of walking. The students will be taking a tour/trip to the
Gorgas House on The University of Alabama campus. Students will leave school at 10 A.M. after
snack time. We will arrive to the UA campus by school bus at approximately 10:35 A.M. Students
will return to Little Rock Elementary School at approximately 1:30 PM. There will be five
chaperones whom are parents. If possible, each parent will chaperone 4–6 students. A sack lunch
will be provided by the elementary school and kept cool by coolers. I will provide a small amount of
extra food if students need it. The admission fee is $2.00 for everyone. Including chaperones (five),
myself (one)and the students(21), the total fee for admission is $52.00. The transportation expenses
are 146.50 ($34.00 for mileage and $112.50 for the bus driver). The sack lunches will be made by
the school and the fee will be taken from students' lunch account (as if they were eating lunch at

My Favorite School Field Trip
Some people wouldn't think school could be fun. All that we do is learn. All field trips we go on are
just educational and boring. Well some might be, but many can be fun. You would never think
somewhere you've always wanted to go to would be your next field trip. Somewhere really fun. I
have thought plenty of times in the past that I didn't want to go on the trip it was boring, but I was
wrong and this is why.
My first favorite school memory was in eighth grade. I was in chorus and we were going on a trip to
Massachusetts with the band for a competition. I was super excited and couldn't wait to sell all of
my tickets. When the day finally came I was so excited. We rode in a coach bus which was really
cool because I've never been in one before. When we arrived in Massachusetts we headed over to
where we were having the competition. The competition was being held at a really big school. We
performed and sounded really good. I was super nervous I didn't want to mess up since I had never
done that before.
When we were finally done the competition we got our award handed to us and our tickets to get
into Six Flags. We left the school and head off on our journey to Agawam, Massachusetts where Six
Flags was located. As we got closer and closer there were flags on the side of the road leading us
there and my anticipation grew even stronger. I couldn't wait to get there.
Once we finally arrived everyone couldn't wait to get off the bus and have some fun. I was really
excited. We got off the bus and had a really long walk to get into the park. There were no close
parking spaces for the bus so we had to go all the way to the back parking lot and walk up to the
entrance. Once I walked into the park it was so much bigger than any I expected. All the roller
coasters were huge. I didn't get to go on any because everyone would ask me to hold their stuff but a
couple things I did go on were the bumper cars, a water slide, a boat ride and I played some mini
games. Those were fun enough for me but if I ever go back again I am going to try the roller
coasters. The water slide was really fun. All you had to do was go up a ramp inside a tube and the
ramp would push you down the slide while water was being splashed at

Introduction
The field trip was introduced early in as audio visual media In education because it brings the

Safety and comfort should be considered. This is provided by instructing the student carefully. Time,
exact place of meeting, type of transportation, conduct and courtesy all should be explained
carefully to each student. The trip itself should proceed in an orderly manner with all students in an
alert and observing frame of mind. The teacher can assist the students by calling attention to
pertinent points
Follow up and evaluation
The class period following the field trip should be used for an open discussion. This can be done by
means of student reports, discussion and evaluation of reports and questions by students and teacher.
The teacher should evaluate the details of the trip carefully, writing them down for future reference
together with specific suggestions for improvement of further trips. She should note particularly
what appear to be motivating and vitalizing values as they affect the individual students and may
gather such evidence from her own opinions, student's expressions comments and remarks both
during and following the trip and written students evaluations. Educational values are important and
can be determined by tests of various kinds, if desired.

On the 17th of November our science and math class took a field trip to Atlanta, Georgia to visit

CNN was launched 35 years ago on June 1, 1980 and it was the first television channel to provide
24 hours of news coverage in the U.S. Today the news network can be seen by viewers in more than
212 countries and territories through CNN International. Our tour commenced by us riding the

week. Our next stop was CDC, short for Center for Disease Control and Prevention. We started our

which may lead to paralysis but can easily be treated by the polio vaccine. The spread of Polio can

My Experience For A Trip To A School Field Trip
On Friday of April 21,2017 I went to Disneyland for a school field trip, all the students in the middle
school band and color guard went on this field trip for a performance at Disneyland .It was my 8th
grade year, it would be my last year performing at Disneyland so I had to enjoy it . We had to meet
up at school at 3:30 am because Disneyland is located in Anaheim CA and it would take us several
hours to get there. Also the teachers wanted us to be there early because they would have to take roll
call to know if everyone made it on time, and we would leave the school at 4:00 am . We got on the
buses , we knew it was going to be a long rides so the teachers decided to rent us a charter bus the
good thing was that we have had enough fundraiser to be able to go on a charter bus.The teachers
said we would only have one stop during the whole the long bus ride and that was only going to be
for us to go to the bathroom and to get some breakfast before we actually got to disneyland .After
everyone went to the bathroom and got breakfast we got in the buses and started driving again. We
had about 2 hours until we got the park . We finally have made it safely to the disneyland park and
we had to looked for the parking lot where all the buses were parked , we found our parking spot
and everyone was very happy that we had made it the park . The teacher told all the students " All of

Shakespeare Field Trip Essay
While I have gone to a few live events, the only theatrical one that I seem to remember was the one
live event I paid the least attention to. In my junior year of high school, everyone in our year who
was taking the Shakespearean English class took a field trip to the Tennessee Shakespeare Company
that operated out of a building located about fifteen minutes from my school. The aim of the field
trip was to learn more about Shakespeare from a perspective based more on producing and acting,
rather than one based on purely the script. Naturally, as we were given the exceedingly rare
opportunity to not attend more than half of our classes that day, we were incredibly hyped up... for
everything that was not related to Shakespeare. Now, this does not mean that we all hated
Shakespeare, because a few of us did enjoy a few of his works that we had read so far. However,
when it comes to the choice between something remotely academic, and something not, the
something not will win 9 out of 10 times, especially if you are dealing with around 70–80 sixteen
and seventeen year old guys. It did not help that I had a supplementary football workout form 6:00
to 7:30 in the morning that day and wanted to do nothing but chill that day, rather than do something
educational. The day consisted of a tour of the facilities, in which everyone just talked amongst
themselves, the tour guides tried to boast about how great they were, and one person actually
ditched when no one was looking, a lunch break,

Cla Field Trip

  • 1. Cla Field Trip CLA has been such a blessing to my life.It has allowed me to grow in my faith. CLA has provided a great education and a safe environment. I wasn't here for all four years, I only was here for sophomore year and senior year. The field trips provided, were amazing and educational. The field trip I enjoyed the most pacific garden mission. I learned so much on that trip. People are still people no matter their level in society. These people have the strongest faith and the hardest life. We met women children and men all in the same situation. Ive met all different types of people at specical events that CLA has hosted. At first i only attended these events in order to get service hours but soon i realized that theres a deeper meaning to serve. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 3. Importance Of Speech On Field Trips I remember it like it was yesterday, running off the school bus as I excitedly skipped towards my mother with a bright yellow sheet of paper in hand. I was so eager to tell my mom all about the field trip we were going on as a class and have her sign the permission slip which would allow me to attend. The destination, Milburn Orchards, a local agritourism facility that has everything from acres of apple trees to pumpkin patches and from a petting zoo to its very own creamery. Looking back, some of my most memorable experiences as a student, on field trips, revolve around the amazing world of agriculture. These excursions allow us to dream big about what our future may hold. Ask the 6 year old me and I would have told you I wanted to be a dairy farmer when I "grow up" – and because of these "first hand experiences", I'd be willing to bet I wasn't the only kid in class that would've mentioned a future in the world of agriculture. Yet, as we advance through our education, selecting a career becomes problematic due to the pressures felt from sources which may not encourage the field of agriculture as a career choice. So, how do we combat the disconnect seen between the excitement of elementary aged students on field trips and the modern day college and career readiness surge seen in high school? Good morning, my name is Sara Collins, and today I am here to speak with you about the role technology can play in recruiting the next generation of agriculturists. As we consider ... • 5. California Science Field Trip The purpose of this field trip is to learn new and adventurous facts about science. Our field trip will be held on Wednesday April 13, 2016, in the California Science Center. The California Science Center provides information about outer space, our body, and of course how the world began. We will be going through several places including: the IMAX Theatre, the model of Endeavour, our body systems, the botanical garden, and airplane models. We will start our itinerary by seeing our body systems. Knowing how our body systems work will help us a lot in the future. The California Science Center is the best place for that. It shows a 3D model of our heart. Not just our circulatory system, but also out digestive system. We will go through a tunnel ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

So me and my three friends met up at the field at 1:00 on Friday the 13, a2012. We wanted to see who can hit the ball the farthest. So we got in are gear and that's when Allison pitched the ball at me. I hit the ball so hard and I could hear the medal bat hit the ball. The ball went flying in the air. And that's when I notest that it went straight threw Mr.Toms window. We almost got away with it but then we herd "Little girls come here right know." So we walked over to Mr. Tomes and said, "Yes Mr.Toms, but it was an accident." So he said, you do know that your mom is going to have to pay for the accident." "So we said yes Mr.Toms." When we were done talking he left somewhere in his car so when he did I had to crab the baseball so I seen a latter and I grabbed it and I climbed the latter and went thru the window and I ... The purpose of this field trip is to conclude our social studies unit on the Virginia Settlement and to introduce our next unit on the American Revolutionary War. • 11. Narrative Essay On Field Trip The rain was beginning to slack up, but the wind was blowing at ten miles per hour. I thought this was going to be one of the best days of my life. I remember telling my parents, three weeks in advance that I was going on a field trip with my class to the Memphis zoo and I would like for them both to come. I was so excited the night before the field trip, I couldn't stop thinking about all the animals I wanted to see and take pictures of. Unfortunately, my mother had to work the day of the field trip and my father had been sick with the flu for nearly two weeks. I was very disappointed that my parents couldn't make the field trip with me and my classmates. All my classmates' parents attended the field trip except of Kyle parents. Kyle hardly talked to anyone in the class, including Mr. Jefferson who was absent the day of the field trip. Mr. Jefferson was tall and built like a professional football player. In class he talks a lot about his college experience at Ohio State University, where he played college football for four years and earned his bachelor degree in Education. I remember this because he would always wear his Ohio State Buckeyes sweatshirt on Fridays. The day of the field trip was on a Friday, so I was looking forward to Mr. Jefferson wearing his Buckeyes sweatshirt, but he was absent, instead we had a substitute teacher for his replacement. Her name was Miss. Taylor, she wasn't as tall as Mr. Jefferson, but she was nicer. She passed out stickers and gave ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 15. Benefits Of School Field Trips Schools everywhere around the world have field trips. Glenpool Middle School is one of the few schools that doesn't have field trips, should it? Field trips would be great for students because it would provide students with a break out of the classrooms, hands on activities, and it would reward students for great behavior and working hard. This concept is talked about amongst students all the time yet, it still hasn't changed. Glenpool should have field trips regularly because students are slowly getting more and more restless coming in to the same place everyday and doing the same things everyday. Field trips would provide students a break out of the classrooms. Sometimes students get tired of doing the same thing over and over in the same environment and the students need a new place to do new things. Therefore, students could meet new people outside of the classroom these people could include: workers, tour guides, and even visiting students from opposing schools that are on the trip. There are even times when teachers get tired of being in the classrooms or the students being in there so the teachers may want to go or take the students to a place where they could learn new and helpful things but also, be free from the classroom. As a result giving students time outside of the classroom may also, change the way they act when back in the classroom by learning the new stuff from the field trips. Most facilities that have field trips have hands on activities ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

From the clerk, to the person who sorts the mail, to the person who delivers the mail to mailboxes, and the postal worker who takes it to a larger sorting facility to be distributed around the globe. The field trip to the post office aligned with the standards because students are able to learn about the spatial organization of people, places and environment on the earth's surface and explain how physical systems affect human activity and living conditions. The church felt similar to being in a Catholic and/or Christian church. Unlike the temple we went to before, these people were very welcoming to us and friendly. They wanted to show us as much as possible in the time we were there and I found it more interesting to pay attention. 4 Zoroastrianism is the oldest monotheistic religion that was founded 2,000 years before christ, and has been the dominant religion for 1,000 years. • 21. 8th Class Field Trip If there's one thing I'll never forget, it's my 2012 eighth grade class field trip. When I was in eighth grade I attended a private school on the West Side of Chicago. Ironically, this Lutheran grade school was the gateway to hell; but that's another story for another time. However, this "crime" I committed was so bad that I was banned from participating in any of the annual activities that took place on the last week of school. Every year the eighth grade class spent one weekend out of town as an early graduation gift from the school. In May of 2012 our field trip destination was Atlanta, Georgia. If you ask me the whole thing was rigged from the beginning. The school rented a bus as our method of transportation to and from Georgia. From the moment we boarded the bus and took our seats I knew something rebellious was bound to happen. The teachers were so strict about everything. The girls and boys were to separated at all times, even on the bus. The ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... I then realized that I was still in the boys room. I couldn't even go to the restroom without a chaperone. I was so relieved and afraid when we made it back to Chicago Monday morning. There was a mini trial awaiting me along with all of the students, teachers and chaperones, Tuesday morning. The teachers and administration tried to sexualize the entire thing. After hearing from everyone the administration came to the conclusion that they couldn't prove anything sexual happened (because nothing did.) • 23. Amistad Field Trip To be honest, I really did not want to go to see the Amistad, even though I had completed all written requirements because I believed the boat was small and cramped. Jackie, who was the instructor of the Amistad, who spoke at Options, gave us background history about the boat. It was from this background history that I interpreted the boat was small and cramped. Even though I had not seen the boat in person, I believed it was tiny and restricted. My teachers at Options and my parents tried to convince me to go on the Amistad field trip. Elin offered me information about who was going on the trip, the food that was being ordered, and staff that were going. The Options staff that were traveling to see the ship were my teachers. My parents persuaded me by stating that this might be the only time I see a piece of history like this because the Amistad sails all over the country. • 25. Mediterranean Art Field Trip The field trip to the Cleveland Museum of Art was a real good way to bring the material into perspective for the class. It's one thing to read about subjects in the books. But seeing something in person really brings it into reality. What really intrigued me the most about the field trip was at how powerful the influence of silk was in many regions of the world. The influence of silk spread throughout the Mediterranean and it became a sought after commodity. Many people gained note worthy trading opportunities like the Chinese due to their production of silk. The process of silk making is a long and arduous process. You can see in the example of Figure 1, that it shows the process of how the Chinese created silk from the start to the finish. It would go through of raising the silkworm until it becomes a cocoon. This cocoon would then be taken by hand and slowly extract the actual silk from it. In order to produce any significant amount of silk, large quantities of these cocoons would have to be extracted in order to make any kind of progress. It would then be stored and used later on to make fantastic works of art. Some of the silk pieces showed extreme craftsmanship with its making. You can take for example of ... It really attracts the eye much more than something like plain clothing that was there during the time. Our principal says that we don't have the money to approve a trip like that. The principal says that we would have to save up the schools money to go on the trip. The principal says the trip cost $65,000 including the lunch and the bus ride to it but, the principal still won't let us go. There are some benefits that should make the principal change her mind about letting us go. The first benefit is we can study what artifacts there are at Lava Beds National Monument. We can see even the Lava Beds statue that has carved lava beds and we could probably even hear the history and we can write a report about it. We could go into the caves and take a tour in the caves and see what mother nature has in stored in the caves. In Science we have study a lot then I have imagined about caves and volcanoes. So I think we have a chance to study about the caves since we talked about them a lot in science class. This trip can better help us with the study of caves and volcanoes. • 29. What Is A Field Trip Essay Can a rewarding field trip be beneficial or change the lives of young students, despite GKB's argument that they are not? Yes, I think they do. A reward trip can yield benefits similar to––and different from–– a field trip to an art museum. Once a child goes to a place beyond the classroom it opens the child to view a different ideas of the world and expectations which is intertwined with something they can enjoy. I was lucky enough to get to go and enjoy The World of Coca–Cola museum in Atlanta, Georgia in the 7th grade. When I went to this museum, I was educated on the creation and the background of the Coca–Cola enterprise. Once it was all over, I had a new outlook on life just from a small bubbly beverage. Schools want to continue to foster interest in education by creating fun, entertaining, rewarding and liberating educational opportunities. So they take students to Theaters, Art Museums, Historic Cities, and even Amusement Parks just to give the children some variety and excitement to add to their day outside the classroom. Field trips are either a preplanned idea or something thrown into the semester to end a study period. When field ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Sometimes places accommodate schools, as it states in the article about Crystal Bridges Museum of America, "because the tour is completely free to school, and because Crystal Bridges was built in an area that never previously had an art museum, there was a high demand for school tours." (Green, et al. 2) So when schools don't get sent the bill of the field trip cost, they are more likely to send students on "rewarding" field trips, like mine, to The World of Coca–Cola museum. The opportunity to go to the World of Coca–Cola museum helped me realize how "rewarding" field trips can teach children about social interactions and morals and how these lessons could be ... • 31. Richard Nixon Field Trip Madeline Clark History 170 25 January 2016 Field Trip Assignment For my field trip I went to the Richard Nixon Library in Yorba Linda. I actually live right down the street and yet have never taken a trip there. This place is a library and a museum. It was so interesting to walk through, looking at all of the history that was made there. The three things that I valued the most form this experience was the Birthplace, the Presidential Helicopter, and the East Room. Considering Nixon did grow up in that house that is located at the scene, it was very impressive to see that the house was still standing. I actually got to go in the Helicopter, which was very cool. This helicopter was used by President Nixon, Ford, Johnson, and Kennedy. This helicopter seats 16 people and cost a million dollars to put together in 1960. This helicopter was known as either Marine One or Army one, depending on who was controlling it at the time. It was said that President Nixon used it more then 160 times and one of those times was when he took it over seas for the Summit meeting with President Sadat in Egypt. One of the most famous trips was when he took that helicopter to a military base after he resigned. This helicopter was brought from the White house in 1976 and was used for secret service. Then it was installed in the library grounds in 2006. This helicopter is so unique and interesting. When I got to walk through it, it was fascinating to see the assigned seats for the president and his crew. Also something striking was that they were able to smoke in this helicopter back in the day, so there were ashtrays. This helicopter is such a valuable symbol for President ... They are a way to provide a setting for the practice of observational skills, to bring curiosity into light and inquiry. The rationale behind the following field trip is to encourage students to further study slavery, oppression, and discrimination. These students will discover a world involving violence, culture, and religion. Students will gain vast knowledge on the importance of equality and racial segregation, while examining racial History. Some ideas included interactions between American people, gender differences as well as employees attitude. I wanted to examine the ways in which Americans behave around people or their behavior towards other people. Before the field trip, I had a few thoughts/assumptions/beliefs about Americans such as I thought Americans were more hostile and reserved, they usually keep to themselves. It is our expected perception of masculinity –– what society deems as appropriate behavior for a "man". The attitudes of the employees particularly put a smile on my face. I have learned so much while visiting Western Kentucky University that I will take with me throughout the rest of my senior year, as well as while I'm in college. Meeting all the different people really taught me a lot. First, hearing about Greek affairs. I wasn't ever against being in a sorority or for, but hearing that they are not for everyone made me think. The Lava Beds National Monument is full of history and geological wonders. Also, it is California's "best kept secret". Three reasons why we should go to Lava Beds National Monument is because we could learn more science, the landscape and attractions, and because it does not have too many visitors My first reason why we should go on this field trip is because it will be educational. In the field trip we would mostly learn about science. According to Lava Beds National Monument, it states, "Over 700 caves have now been discovered hidden in the natural wilderness of the area." When we go to the field trip we would learn about the caves and volcanoes formations. Even though some caves are very old, we would have to bend and crawl through tubes of ragged rocks, and we would have to be cautious, we would use sturdy shoes, helmets, knee pads, and flashlights. • 55. Field Trip Reflection After the field trip today to Carter & McCrae, I can say that my beliefs and understandings about children from a different cultural and/or ethnic minority group have changed significantly compared to before the trip. Before the trip, I had some basic understandings of the challenges that these groups face but I never truly understood all of the obstacles that they have to overcome. Overcoming these obstacles will allow them to be successful in schools which will better enable them to be successful in the future. Some of the different aspects that I found eye opening included the disadvantages that some of the groups faced like lack of housing. Another obstacle that I found interesting was how much work it took to receive support in today's society. I was also surprised by the challenge that people who have a refugee status often face. In this reflection of my trip I plan to explain how these major points surprised me the most. Before I went on this field trip I had a basic understanding of the challenges that these groups could face. Some of these challenges included a lack of a steady job or lack of a steady place to live. But after attending the trip I now understand that there are more negative impacts that what first meet the eye. I now understand if a student doesn't have a steady roof over their head or if their family is struggling financially, then the student is at a higher risk of not being successful in school. This higher risk is due to a number of different reasons. One of the reasons is that as kids are having to move from house to house and therefore they are often missing days in school. But there is more to this issue than missing lessons. The kids are also loosing the connection with their teachers and other students which the kids desperately need. I was also surprised by how much work it is for someone to receive support in today's society. Before the trip, I had a basic understanding that there was often a lot of waiting involved when it came to applying for different types of supports like food stamps or Medicare support. After attending the field trip I learned that there was more than just having to wait for the papers to be processed and just to fill out a few different forms. For ... Some reasons I picked this place are, they have many culture experience's, you can explore different culture in one day, and it a good place to taste the different foods and music across the world. It ties into humanity because it explores different countries that have impacted our society from the food to the music, to even our architecture. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In Epcot, the exhibit does not only look like the actual countries but also gives you the types of food and music that they would have. In addition, the music in the different exhibit's makes it so much better because you're not only pleasing your sense of sight and touch with the structures and you sense of taste and smell with the food but giving you a full experience with the sense of hearing with the music. In conclusion, I chose Epcot as my field trip proposal because we get to see different countries in a more enriching way than reading or listening about. Psychics and crystal ball readers are the most extreme case of genius forecasting. Their forecasts are based exclusively on intuition. Science fiction writers have sometimes described new technologies with uncanny accuracy. There are many examples where men and women have been remarkable successful at predicting the future. There are also many examples of wrong forecasts. The weakness in genius forecasting is that its impossible to recognize a good forecast until the forecast has come to pass. This method seeks to rectify the problems of face–to–face confrontation in the group, so the responses and respondents remain anonymous. The classical technique proceeds in well–defined sequence. In the first round, the participants are asked to write their predictions. Their responses are collated and a copy is given to each of the participants. The participants are asked to comment on extreme views and to defend or modify their original opinion based on what the other participants have written. Again, the answers are collated and fed back to the participants. In the final round, participants are asked to reassess their original opinion in view of those presented by other participants. The amount of dissolved oxygen in a body of water will determine the type and number of macro– invertebrates that may live there. • 69. My Favorite School Field Trip Some people wouldn't think school could be fun. All that we do is learn. All field trips we go on are just educational and boring. Well some might be, but many can be fun. You would never think somewhere you've always wanted to go to would be your next field trip. Somewhere really fun. I have thought plenty of times in the past that I didn't want to go on the trip it was boring, but I was wrong and this is why. My first favorite school memory was in eighth grade. I was in chorus and we were going on a trip to Massachusetts with the band for a competition. I was super excited and couldn't wait to sell all of my tickets. When the day finally came I was so excited. We rode in a coach bus which was really cool because I've never been in one before. When we arrived in Massachusetts we headed over to where we were having the competition. The competition was being held at a really big school. We performed and sounded really good. I was super nervous I didn't want to mess up since I had never done that before. When we were finally done the competition we got our award handed to us and our tickets to get into Six Flags. We left the school and head off on our journey to Agawam, Massachusetts where Six Flags was located. As we got closer and closer there were flags on the side of the road leading us there and my anticipation grew even stronger. I couldn't wait to get there. Once we finally arrived everyone couldn't wait to get off the bus and have some fun. I was really excited. We got off the bus and had a really long walk to get into the park. There were no close parking spaces for the bus so we had to go all the way to the back parking lot and walk up to the entrance. Once I walked into the park it was so much bigger than any I expected. All the roller coasters were huge. I didn't get to go on any because everyone would ask me to hold their stuff but a couple things I did go on were the bumper cars, a water slide, a boat ride and I played some mini games. Those were fun enough for me but if I ever go back again I am going to try the roller coasters. The water slide was really fun. • 74. Cdc Field Trip On the 17th of November our science and math class took a field trip to Atlanta, Georgia to visit CNN and CDC. The trip was very interesting and educational; although I have to say I enjoyed CDC more for various reasons. The first place we visited was the CNN, short for Cable News Network. CNN was launched 35 years ago on June 1, 1980 and it was the first television channel to provide 24 hours of news coverage in the U.S. Today the news network can be seen by viewers in more than 212 countries and territories through CNN International. Our tour commenced by us riding the longest freestanding escalator in the world. I have to admit, at first I was like no big deal, but as I was halfway up I began to get a little bit scared and dizzy, but I manage to keep calm. Our tour ... Something else I thought was interesting is how the first floor was covered by an ice skating rink, but was later replaced by a mosaic map of the world featuring brass markers indicating the locations of CNN bureaus around the world. CNN is a 16 story facility and it is open 24 hours a day seven days a week. Our next stop was CDC, short for Center for Disease Control and Prevention. We started our tour by watching a short video on Polio. Polio is a disease caused by a virus that attacks the nerves which may lead to paralysis but can easily be treated by the polio vaccine. The spread of Polio can be transmitted through contaminated food and water, lucky this disease can be eradicated; bacteria can be eradicated if it's found in humans only. In 1980, Smallpox was the first disease to be wiped out completely. During our tour we learned about the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

My Experience For A Trip To A School Field Trip On Friday of April 21,2017 I went to Disneyland for a school field trip, all the students in the middle school band and color guard went on this field trip for a performance at Disneyland .It was my 8th grade year, it would be my last year performing at Disneyland so I had to enjoy it . We had to meet up at school at 3:30 am because Disneyland is located in Anaheim CA and it would take us several hours to get there. Also the teachers wanted us to be there early because they would have to take roll call to know if everyone made it on time, and we would leave the school at 4:00 am . We got on the buses , we knew it was going to be a long rides so the teachers decided to rent us a charter bus the good thing was that we have had enough fundraiser to be able to go on a charter bus.The teachers said we would only have one stop during the whole the long bus ride and that was only going to be for us to go to the bathroom and to get some breakfast before we actually got to disneyland .After everyone went to the bathroom and got breakfast we got in the buses and started driving again. We had about 2 hours until we got the park . We finally have made it safely to the disneyland park and we had to looked for the parking lot where all the buses were parked , we found our parking spot and everyone was very happy that we had made it the park . • 78. Shakespeare Field Trip Essay While I have gone to a few live events, the only theatrical one that I seem to remember was the one live event I paid the least attention to. In my junior year of high school, everyone in our year who was taking the Shakespearean English class took a field trip to the Tennessee Shakespeare Company that operated out of a building located about fifteen minutes from my school. The aim of the field trip was to learn more about Shakespeare from a perspective based more on producing and acting, rather than one based on purely the script. Naturally, as we were given the exceedingly rare opportunity to not attend more than half of our classes that day, we were incredibly hyped up... for everything that was not related to Shakespeare. Now, this does not mean that we all hated Shakespeare, because a few of us did enjoy a few of his works that we had read so far. However, when it comes to the choice between something remotely academic, and something not, the something not will win 9 out of 10 times, especially if you are dealing with around 70–80 sixteen and seventeen year old guys. It did not help that I had a supplementary football workout form 6:00 to 7:30 in the morning that day and wanted to do nothing but chill that day, rather than do something educational. The day consisted of a tour of the facilities, in which everyone just talked amongst themselves, the tour guides tried to boast about how great they were, and one person actually ditched when no one was looking, a lunch break, ...
