SLATER STREET BY EXPORT DEVELOPMENT CANADA

Cushman & Wakefield Ottawa, the local affiliate of Cushman & Wakefield, the world’s largest privately
held global real estate services firm, has been named the exclusive subleasing agent for 150 Slater
Street by Export Development Canada. Under this assignment, Cushman & Wakefield Ottawa will be
responsible for subleasing approximately 80,000 square feet of office space at 150 Slater Street.
150 Slater Street, currently under construction, will be the new headquarters of Canada’s export credit
agency and will total approximately 480,000 square feet of new development in the heart of Ottawa’s
Central Business District. EDC is targeting LEED Gold certification and completion is scheduled for
November 2011.

The subleasing assignment will be lead by Cushman & Wakefield Ottawa’s Green Real Estate Practice
Group. “150 Slater Street will be Ottawa’s most modern and environmentally progressive office building
and will serve as an Ottawa landmark for architectural and sustainable design,” said James McNeil,
Associate Vice President and Green Real Estate Practice Lead. “The 80,000 square feet EDC is
