Studien visade att över 96% av de tillfrågade företagen
   inser att betydelsen av PR har ökat. I tillägg är det 2/3
   som ser att utvecklingen på Internet har medfört fler
   möjligheter och en mer transparent process.
Lika många är det som svarar att konsumentjournalistik har
   gjort PR affärskritiskt, dvs att närvaro på sociala
   plattformar (på gott och ont) inverkar menligt på
   vinstutveckling och upplevd kundnöjdhet.
